Book is about a young man with little talent in cooking work his way through life on becoming a chef. He has supportive friends, parents, and many willing to teach him. The system is more of a gimmick, think of it more as a tool to help the chef over most novels where they are reliant on it. Translation is not very good. Since this is a novel on Chinese food especially many regions, the translation gets many dishes incorrectly.
twice-cooked pork; ants climbing a tree = Sauteed Vermicelli with minced Pork; mapo tofu; Kung Pao Chicken; Mao blood wang = spicy Chinese stew (mao xue wang); chicken stewed with gingko = Braised Chicken with Ginkgo Nuts;
eight courses/times a day, seven times a week
Due to MTL translation, it pops up as Dragon Dumplings, in Chinese it's Xiao Long Bao, which direct translation is little dragon buns, but is actually translated as soup dumplings. I had a feeling the book is MTL when the translator group couldn't keep gong bao qi or in English Kan Pao Chicken consistent, at least the MTL isn't half bad.
how is he growing crops without water... unless I am wrong doesn't all crops need water no matter how little.
you read the title and synopsis? he has no intention on cultivating or adding strength.
The story is pretty decent. No translation errors that should make the reading experience bad (this is coming from someone who knows Chinese). Unlike other stories, the translator might have put some work into editing the chapters because the formatting is good, sentences aren't cut up. Story Development, Character Design, and World Background is decent. Simply average. Update Stability is free points. If the story is good, it goes up, if bad it's one star. I'll see if I can find the raw and post it later.
doesn't mean much? is the author an idiot? if you have something that is insanely strong than you can get more resources to become stronger. this is basic rpg logic.
Stopped reading due to horrible formatting. The story seems pretty interesting, I'm gonna go read it on Qidian instead. The raw name is: 长生修仙:我能用族人的气血加点. The author name is: 百年老黄牛.
it depends on individuals. some may adapt to it but to the general mass it is very unlikely. since airsoft provides no risk so it could endanger them by doing things recklessly but at the same time, there is a YouTube video where this Japanese person who plays airsoft never touched a gun ever went to the US to play with guns with another YouTuber and it showed his skills at using a real gun better than those who have been shooting for quite some time.
