Eve could tell that the explosion didn't hurt her eardrums, because she was still able to hear what was going on. Registering it, though, was harder. Everything flashed before her eyes like a series of snapshots, as if her brain couldn't process things as quickly as they happened. She caught a sight of Celine staring at her hands as if they didn't belong to her. Xia crouched in her seat, pistol in hand, eyes to a cracked window. Shouts "At nine hours!" and "On the roof!" came from her and Victor almost at the same time. Then a sound of a gunshot from somewhere up and at the side boomed through the area and adrenaline kicked in.
Eve crouched as well, not willing to be an easy target for whoever was shooting at them. Victor was already getting out of the car, pulling his greatsword with him. Celina did the same thing. The left side of the car was dangerous, but the right side of the car was a cover, and Eve and Xia hurried to join Celina with Victor there as soon as they could. Two more gunshots, with bullets wheezing through sun panels and car seats, hurried them along.
They plastered to the side of the car. Bullets followed, but the changed angle made it hard for the shooter. Two more shots in dangerous closeness to their knees made everyone huddle as close to the car as they could.
"It's a zombie, level five, but it's armed," Victor said as soon as all of them were in relative safety. His eyes were faraway again. "It shot us with a grenade launcher, but now it took a machine gun. It also seems to have a pistol with it."
"What? A zombie with guns? Now that I never needed to see. It's basically cheating." Celina let out a nervous, disbelieving chuckle. Her sword was unsheathed and in her hand already, but it visibly shook, just like her voice. "Also, what was that thing before the explosion?"
"Victor's power," Eve said before he could reply for himself. She didn't need to see him nod to know that she was right. The feeling was too familiar to mistake for anything else.
Celina glanced at her hands. "I'd never react so quickly myself," she muttered, looking a bit shell-shocked. Everyone let it go.
"It has the high ground. We would need to cross the street to get to it, and if it's smart enough, it would be ready for us when we get to the roof." Xia's dark eyes narrowed and calculating the possibilities. A lock of black hair fell on her nose and she blowed it away. "Kraust, does it have more grenades?"
"Doesn't look like it."
Eve didn't like the idea of crossing the street under a shower of bullets at all. With a submachine gun the zombie didn't need to use bullets one by one, it could just spray them. She didn't need another bullet at her side—one was memorable enough. Eve didn't know how much ammunition the zombie had, or how good of a shooter it was, but could only assume the worst. The street didn't have nearly enough cover to just run over it.
"We will need to distract it somehow." Her eyes shifted to Victor. "Could your birds do it?"
He grunted in agreement. "But zombies aren't humans, there's no guarantee it will work."
Eve nodded, instantly realising what Victor was talking about. Zombies were operating with flawed computer logic that differed from humans' flawed logic. If a human was attacked by a flock of birds, they would try to fight them off, protect their eyes with their hands—their reflexes would make them do that. If a zombie was attacked in a similar fashion, it was possible that he would ignore them altogether, or react in some other strange and unpredictable way. Still…
"Birds would at least obstruct its vision."
Xia had finally caught up to the conversation. "Hopefully, that would be enough. Is it still in the same position?"
Victor stood silent for a moment, as his concentration went towards one of the crows that flew in circles around the area. That particular one sat on an old, sagged electric cable. From there it could clearly see the flat, dusty roof of a five-stories house that probably desperately needed repairs long before the apocalypse. On the edge of it stood a dry mummy-like creature. It had little resemblance to a human it once was besides for the camouflage-coloured rags that covered its body and a machine gun in its hands. An empty rocket launcher was lying to the side.
Celina shifted, trying to give a rest to her knees, and another bullet burrowed in asphalt dangerously close to her leg. She paled and did her best to merge with the car. "Was that a 'yes'?" she asked breathlessly.
Xia estimated the angle of a shot with a glance. "It is. When you are ready, Kraust."
Victor nodded and reached with his mind towards the birds he brought with him. They flew from the very forest, but there were more birds in the city. Many of them turned into zombies, but many more were still alive: pigeons, sparrows, crows, ravens. He called for as many as he could find nearby, and their simple minds were nothing under the force of his will. The bird bodies were a glove that he put on his hand. Then he pulled that hand into a fist and brought it on a zombie shooter.
The flock of birds, a couple dozen of them, swarmed around it, pecked at its eyes, at its fingers. Some birds had levels higher than zero, strengthening them, but none exhibited a superpower. Still, it was more than enough to create a distraction. The zombie swirled madly and started to shoot at birds, one at a time, and Victor barked, "Now!" as soon as the first bullet pierced the first feathered body.
He was the first to spang to action, and everybody followed. His long legs carried him across the street with inhuman speed, so quick it was almost invisible besides for a smeared afterimage. Compared to him, even the fastest, Eve, felt like a snail. She would bet, though, that the part of what made her run towards the safety of a house entrance so slow was the sound of gunshots above her head and the madly drumming heart in her chest.
When she reached the opened door, Eve felt like falling down on the spot. She willed herself to not relax ahead of time. An accidental glance made her eyes met Celina's, and in that moment their thoughts mirrored each other—both wanted for this to be over and done, but both knew that it was only the beginning. At the side, Victor and Xia looked everyone over. They also shared a glance, and Xia silently took the lead.
"We'll make a trap for it on the ladder," she said.
Everyone else followed her experience without questions—or, at least, without too much questions. They took the stairs to the roof, the old concrete steps looking threateningly chipped under their feet, but still holding well. Everyone hid their presences to not make the zombie on the roof move down ahead of time and huddled near the trapdoor to the outside.
Victor's birds had flown away to the safer distance, leaving half of their brethren lying deathly still on the rooftop. Soon enough they would twitch their stiff limbs and crawl and move again—but not fly. Dead birds never could take wing again, not with the dried ligaments, rotten muscle and rigid joints. A harmless, but disturbing and morbid parody of the normal animals, pigeons that were too lazy to fly and crows that were almost as brazen as seagulls.
Through the eyes of their still living counterparts, Victor scanned the roof. The zombie shooter was looking around, as if lost, but didn't move to the hatch. From that distance, Eve could hear the robotic voice in her head reading the lines of its log.
"It had lost us," she whispered. Eve doubted it would hear if she spoke aloud, but something in the atmosphere of spec ops assault made her whisper, anyway. 'And not to be careless,' she added to herself.
"Good. Then, Sister lures it here, then Lin-Lin grabs it and Kraust takes off its head. On your signal, Sister Eve."
A water whip was already flowing out of Celina's hand when she nodded her readiness. It looked darker, more solid than when she did it before, and was longer—Celina's level up wasn't flashy, but it was there. Of course, there was no point in hiding it from Victor since long ago. She held the whip with her right hand, while her left held the sword.
Everyone else was holding their weapons with both hands, standing by the sides of the trapdoor. Eve threw one last look at the faces of her friends—and Victor, whenever he fit in there—and took a deep breath to calm herself down. It was impossible to be absolutely calm, not with the amount of adrenaline in her blood, but she calmed down enough to be able to think.
And then she let out the force of her presence, directed at it at the zombie above, not too strong to be fearful, but just strong enough for it to stop, become interested again and move towards them, the words "Data source found, the gathering is in process…" echoing in Eve's head.


Eve Ziffer always believed that one day her nano-machines would save humanity. It needed to be saved—from pollution, from the climate change, from the wars. Yet in the end, her research instead turned out to be the thing that pushed it into the very abyss.

After surviving an attack and waking up from a six-years long coma that followed, Eve opens her eyes to see the world changed beyond recognition. Walking corpses roam the streets, and humans fight them with swords and superpowers.

Now Eve is the only person able to finish her own work and fix the nano-machines that brought this devastation. Whether the last vestiges of mankind would disappear, or would the human race rise like a phoenix from the ashes—all lies in hands of Eve and the people she will meet along the way.

They will fight and they will scheme and they will talk, because human vices are adversaries as bad as the zombies; and trials of friendship and love can be as perilous as any battle.

Victor leaned towards her face, burning her with his glare. “No.”

“I’m doing this for myself, for you and for science. Any single one of these reasons is enough to keep disagreeing with you.”

Victor’s eyes dropped to her lips. ‘There is more than a single way to dominate a person…’

Before he could even try to stop himself, he dived in, pressing his lips on hers. His hand grabbed the back of Eve’s head, another fell on Eve’s thin waist and followed the alluring lines of her figure to her hip. His body was burning with inner fire.

Eve was too shocked to think. She never expected for this standoff to end like it did. Victor kissed her as if he wanted to eat her. His bites stung, but his lips soothed. The heat of his hand burned her skin even through clothes.

Then Eve finally regained her sanity. She drove her knee into Victor’s groin. He gasped and bended in pain, letting Eve go. Before he could resist, she continued the combo with a strike to the back of his head and a submission hold on his arm.

“What are you doing?! I should’ve listened to Xia better. Men really are worse than dogs! How did I miss the moment when your brain had turned into mush, Victor?” 

“I didn’t think that I would need to spell it out, but there can be no romantic interactions in work time, and no romantic relations between researchers and test subjects. More than that, I’m not interested!”

Papunta na kami sa lugar kung nasaan si Sheloah. "Kanan!" sigaw ni Dannie at agad akong nag drive papunta sa direksyon na sinabi niya.

Gamit ko ngayon ang pick-up car ko. Katabi ko si Dannie. Nasa likod si Isobel. Si Isobel, naka upo lang hawak ang First-Aid Kit tapos si Dannie nag babaril sa direksyon ko at direksyon niya. Si Tyler at Shannara nasa pick-up part ng kotse ko at nag babaril ng mga zombies. Ganoon din ang ginagawa ni Dannie. Akalain mo, magaling pala siyang shooter. Tinuruan kasi ng tatay niyang sundalo.

May nabunggo akong zombie at lumipad ito sa harapan ng kotse ko at lumabas lahat ng dugo niya sa glass. "Shit!" sigaw ko at lumabas kaming lahat dahil biglang hindi umandar yung kotse ko. "Wala na akong gas!" dagdag sigaw ko pa at nagpatay parin sila ng zombies. Nilabas ko ang baril ko at binabaril ko rin yung lumalapit sa akin.

"Wala tayong choice!" sigaw ni Dannie at tiningnan niya ako habang hawak parin niya ang baril niya. "Kailangan nating pumunta doon by foot!" dagdag sabi pa niiya at tumatakbo na kami sa kalsada habang nagpapatay ng zombies.

Nilabas ni Shannara ang dalawa niyang baril at nag babaril na siya ng mas maraming zombies. Dual-wielder siya at sobrang skilled niya. Sharp shooter pa kaya marami siyang headshot sa at lahat sila agad namamatay. Natitipid pa niya ang kanyang mga bala kaya okay na okay sa kanya ang mga tira sa kanya. Mabilis pa siyang mag aim at umatake. 

Si Isobel nasa gitna namin. Ako yung lead tapos si Dannie ang asa right, at si Tyler ang nasa left. Nagpapatay din sila ng zombies at si Shannara naman ang nagbabantay sa likuran ni Isobel. Parami ng parami ang mga zombies at gulat din kami dahil nandito parin yung isang uri ng zombie. Yung nagpapalit ang ulo pag pinatay mo kaya kailangan mo siyang patayin ulit. 

Sa totoo lang, medyo nadalian na kami sa pagpapatay ng mga zombies mas lalo na sa mga bagong uri. Marami na kasi kaming napatay at hindi namin pansin na parang training na namin ito. Gumagaling na kami sa aming pakikipaglaban kaya nadadalian na kami sa lahat ng ginagawa namin. Mas lalo na sa pag babaril ng mga zombies. Amazed nga ako kay Dannie dahil hindi ko akalain na makikipaglaban siya. Kung sana nakipaglaban din siya noon. Sigurp buhay parin si Josh hanggang ngayon. 

"Guys! I see a house over there!" sigaw ni Tyler at may nakita kaming bahay na may malaking gate na nakabukas at isang bahat na walang katao-tao.

Binaril ko yung apat na zombies na nasa harapan ko at agad ko silang sinipa paalis ng daanan ko para makatakbo ng maayos si Isobel at yung iba kong kasama. Binaril ko yung isang zombie na patakbo sa akin at lumabas ang mata nito. Tumalsik ang dugo sa aming lahat at hindi namin ito binigyan ng pansin kasi sanay na kami. 

"Ano… punta tayo sa bahay na 'yon?" tanong ko at binabaril namin yung zombies.

"Mas maganda kung pumunta tayo roon." Sagot ni Shannara at binaril niya yung zombie sa left niya ng dalawang beses sa ulo at tinulak niya ito. Nilusot niya yung kamay niya sa butas na ginawa niya sa dibdib ng isang zombie na binarily niya at hinugot niya ang puso nito. "Kailangan nating gumawa ng plano." Dagdag sabi pa niya at binarily niya yung puso pagkatapos niyang ihagis sa sahig.

Napatiingin ako sa ginawa ni Shannara. Ang aggressive niya pero hindi siya natatakot. Hindi siya nandidiri. Laban lang siya ng laban. Akalain mo hinawakan pa niya yung puso ng zombie gamit ang kamay niya na akala mo laruan lang na binabato o ano pa. Ang tibay niya. Hindi mo akalain na gagawin niya 'yon. Kung ako, hindi ko pa naisipan subukan 'yon. 

Tiningnan ako ni Shannara at pinunasan niya ang kanyang kamay sa kanyang damit. "Veon, nakikinig ka ba?" tanong niya sa akin at nakuha niya ang attention ko.

"O-oo." Paputol kong sagot at pinatay ko yung zombie na nasa harapan ko sabay kong pinutol ang kanyang ulo gamit ang mga kamay ko at hinagis ko yung zombie sa sahig saka binaril ang bagong ulo nito. "A-ano yung sinasabi mo pala?" tanong ko at for the first time, nakita ko na inirapan niya ako.

"Sabi ko…" sinimulan niyang sinabi at lumingon siya para bumaril ng dalawa pang zombies na patakbo sa amin.. Hinihintay namin siya kasi wala ng zombies papunta sa aming direksyon, papunta na lang sa kanya. Binaril niya sa binti ang isang zombie at agad siyang bumagsak sa sahig. Binalikan ni Shannara ang isa pang zombie at agad siyang tumalon at sumakay sa shoulder niya. Pinasok ni Shannara ang baril niya sa loob ng bibig ng zombie at agad niya itong binaril ng dalawang beses at bumagsak sila sa sahig pero naka-land si Shannara ng maayos sa sahig. Binalikan pa niya ang isang zombie at binarily niya sa ulo ng dalawang beses saka niya binalik ang kanyang tingin sa'min. "Kailangan nating gumawa ng plano." Dagdag sabi pa niya at hindi kami makasagot sa kanya dahil sa ginawa niya.

Napaka galing.

Hindi mo inakala ang ganitong pangyayari. Nananahimik ka lang, nakikinig sa klase, at bigla na lang nagbago ang mundo.

I am dead tired after Doc made me help him with his zombie resuscitation project. I don't get why do you even need to resuscitate a zombie. One, a zombie is an undead, when it is deader, we don't need it to come back from the dead undead. Get? Never mind, I know I don't make sense now, so is Doc. So far, in the camp, no one says dares tell what can Doc or cannot do. Doc does what he wants. The only who gets a say is the Boss but the Boss usually says nothing. I dread having to go back to the lab to help Doc again. Arranging severed zombie heads and matching them to headless torsos, is not exactly fun. 
"You ok kid?" Limo gave me a big pat in the back. Ouch. 
"He stinks of zombie guts, eww," Sze Sze giggled as she came closer to me, took a whiff and back of. The zombie horde was exterminated. Thinking back, Limo was calm in dealing with majority of those undead but as I mentioned, there were a few he missed who noticed me and came straight for me. I only learned how to work a gun like 10 seconds before. So eventually, all I could was to take flight and run, even after Limo told me not to but I wasn't ready to be zombie food. I just got here and I intend to get out alive. I ran heading to the woods, I figured I could climb any tree and wait it out. 
I guess running to the woods was a bad idea because I heard more moaning noises and with trees and bushes all over, it was really difficult for me to distinguish where and if there were any zombies around and I was right damn it. 
Not too soon, I was surrounded by a few zombies which began popping out here and there like mushroom. I panicked, trying to get my gun to work. It worked. I mean, I managed to start shooting but I wasn't a very good shooter in real life I realized. I did my best to shoot the approaching dead bodies. The odor, horrible. Ten times worse than sewage. How I know? I don't know, I assumed. 
Being the bad shooter, I was, my ammo ran out pretty quick and that was I thought I have outrun them and I might I have to do skin contact with them. I looked around, zombie, zombie and zombie. I picked the one which looked the easiest to headbutt and escape from. Ran towards it, gave it a kick in the crotch and pushed. I don't think crotch kicks work on dead people. It staggered and fell though. I ran and shit, more zombies appeared in front of me. 
I checked my arms for any signs of the game, anything to signal if I get refreshed to the start if I died by zombie attacks today. Found none so the only logical thing to do was not to take my chance by tying and to try my best survive instead. The moaning got louder which meant more of them appearing. How the heck this is happening to me?!
The tree! I forgot my original plan to climb a tree and to wait it out. I managed to find a tree and evaded enough zombies to the tree. Turned out, I wasn't a very good climber either. I blamed my childhood now for not playing out more often. I didn't know climbing a tree was this difficult. Ouch, I scrapped my knees and hands. 
I did my best to climb up a branch and managed to sit on a branch. Suck that zombies! You can't get me. Well, yeah, they couldn't reach me but it didn't help my case because they know I was up the tree and as more zombies come along, well, they have the power majority to shake my tree. 
I could only wait it out. They better come fast. I got worried as more zombies started to come and I thought I feel my tree shake a little. I looked around, the sun has set and the evening dusk is turning dark. I really thought I will die there. 
Zombie moaning noise are annoying I tell you. It didn't stop and it will make anyone who hear it anxious. From up the tree, I could take a good look at my surrounding. The gate where Limo took me out from seemed like a side door to a fenced-up settlement. Kinda fancy since it was an autogate which let us out. The settlement is now lit up with lights. Wow, they even have watch tower over looking the fences. Probably to watch out for the zombies horde or whatever else. 
I looked up the sky. Stars. Beautiful stream of stars and dark purple sky. Wow, it was beautiful. I wonder what will happen to me now. 
All of this started when I was supposed to investigate a rival game for my work but somehow got sucked into this game myself and woke up to everything weird. I wondered if this is not the reality? What if a zombie apocalypse really happened in reality and somehow, I don't remember how I ended up here? I only assumed I was in a game since it's zombie apocalypse. I mean, come on. What are the odds of a zombie apocalypse happening in the real world? 
I was snapped out of my thought when I heard gun sounds and shouts. The zombies trying to get me all turned to the direction of the gun sounds and gradually started heading to that direction. I saw a glimmer of hope. They must be here for me! 
I didn't dare to get from the tree but the gun shots were getting nearer and occasionally, I saw sparks of light. I can even smell fire smokes and patches of fire flares. Someone is flaming these rotten walking meats. 
"I'M UP HERE! HELP!" I shouted, trying to get their attention. Suddenly from below the tree I was at, I heard rustle. 
Thinking it was them, I shouted again, "HEY! I'M UP HERE! HELP!" Bad idea because what emerged was not my rescue troop but another hideous looking creature with fangs, on four, eww, looks like hair coming sticking out under their mouth. Since when ugly killer creatures have moustaches. It looked up and obviously saw me and attempted to climb. 
Shit! I'm gonna die! 
It was struggling to climb and had great difficulties but it had great strength and was shaking the tree violently and I felt the tremble. Oh my god! This is it, I pray for my last moments to be as pain free as possible. 
I heard a branch crackled. It managed to climb up to the opposite branch and turned its direction to me. Shit. I looked down, I could probably jump but not without a sprained or worse broken leg. I swallowed. It was coming nearer. My heart pumping so loud I heard my own heart beats. 
"JUMP!" I looked down to who shouted at me. THE DUDE WITH THE SOOTHING VOICE! 
"Jump! I'll catch you!" He wanted me to jump? Jump I will. 
Without a second thought, I jump with my eyes closed. When I opened my eyes again, I was not dead, yet. Was safely nestled in his arms. Our eyes met briefly but before I could say anything else, he chucked me aside. He chucked me aside. 
Standing between me and that creature, he got his weapon, something like a big laser gun and started shooting the creature. He lasered that thing a few times, it doesn't look too hurt and made it growl more aggressively. 
"Duck!" Limo appeared from nowhere and chucked something like a grenade when that thing opened his mouth, stupid thing. The dude with the soothing voice shielded me and we braced for the impact. 
We were hit with the huge mess; it was all purple goo. What thing has purple blood gut? 
"You ok kiddo?" Limo said as he posed in front of me and the dude with the soothing voice, he pushed me off the moment the explosion subsided. Rude. 
"Yeah," I said as Limo helped me up. Uncle Pob came from behind with a team or reinforcements. 
"Got it all?" Uncle Pob asked, to the dude with the soothing voice of course. He nodded, "Yeah, I think that was the last one on the radar, this idiot got off lucky," the idiot, he meant me. Rude. I didn't say anything since I was still in shock and I don't think I should argue with the person who just rescued me. 
"Next time kid, when I told you not to move, you don't move. A zombie horde is just child's play compared to what's in the woods," Limo patted my back hard. The dude with the soothing voice just looked at me without any expression. 
"Let's head back. How's the other team?" he asked Uncle Pob. We all started walking back. I felt a wince in my left ankle. Ouch. 
'Neutralized the other side, they are already back, it's only us now," Uncle Pob said and noticed me, "you walk ok?" I nodded and forced myself to continue. I have to man up too. 
As we walked back, I caught the dude with the soothing voice looking at me frequently. Must be thinking what an idiot I am. 
Damn it, my pen's going out of ink soon. Will write more after I get some new pens. Wait, maybe I should steal Tent's.

Touya369 wakes up in a dusty shed and was roped off to fight zombies! What the heck!? It looked like the game he designed! What's happening? He was supposed to be dissecting a game but seems like the only way to go back to his world is clearing this game. Wait, Beach and Limo are here too but they don't seem to recognize him! What's going on?

Crynn POV

"Is is a common occurrence to leave high-grade gunpowder anywhere," this jar literally reads, 'HIGH GRADE GUNPOWDER -Flammable', quite charming, no brand. "No it isn't," Jill took it up and looked at it, turning it around, looking downwards and upwards, finally she shook her head. "This is illegal gunpowder, no brand, no regulation, no instructions."

"Why would illegal gunpowder be in a supermarket of all places possible," she contemplates for second and then two until something clicked inside her head. "The Preston Gang, they run Raccoon City's underworld, all shops have a connection to them, some raids spanning years have found illegal stashes of weapons, explosives, and blood money in 'legal' shops allover the city, this must be one of them."

Is that some Raccoon City lore right there, cause I remember no gangs in Resident Evil. "At least we could use them," I said before making out of the supermarket into the deathly night, the blue moon seemed almost innocent to everything happening around here. "I'm done here," Jill got out and started heading further down the road into a dead end.

"I've reached the main avenue," Jill said in the radio looking oppositely at the zombies trying to climb the high wall of collapsed cars and failing miserably at every try, stupid zombies ruining my day. "See a big transmission tower? That's the substation, you'll need to circle around through the alley on your right," you mean the burning alley Carlos?

This is bad, the fire's too big, using my liquid nitrogen spray would be very wasteful. But, how conveniently placed inside the alley is a fire hydrant with no fire hose. "Surely a tall drink of Super Agent and Super Cop can put off a few flames," that is a total understatement, if you say that as a few flames than those that mean the Californian wildfire is a burning house!?

"F*ck you!" Jill had to feel offended and cursed, cursing is bad for health everyone don't do that. Carlos chuckled and the line was cut by Jill, "How do you suppose we deal with that?" Jill looked at the flames with resentment and then at the zombies behind the mesh fence. "We could deal wth the zombies first."

I don't want any zombie to successfully break down the mesh fence and take us by surprise, better to blow their heads off first then, we can bring down the fence. I aimed at the head clearly and shot at point blank, splitting it right off. You know, I could just blow off their heads with my shotgun underbarrel.

I approached another zombie and tapped the secondary trigger, a blast of slugs flew from my barrel, totally ending the poor zombie. "What the hell was that," Jill once again, tongue tied at my gadgets, totally jealous, but don't worry, if I can successfully convince her, she could use my weapons.

"This is a shotgun underbarrel for my pistol," I proudly caressed my pistol, I love Kingsman. "Do all agents like yourself wield those guns," she shot down another zombie and asked me in turn. Do they, not really, "Some others prefer rifles and perfume bombs," yeah I still had a Eu De Bombe in my bag that I could use anytime.

"Perfume bombs, that's the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a while," I can't wrong her, it does sound absurd. "The zombies have been taken cared of, time to set aside these barriers," I kicked the fence hard enough it toppled effortlessly down the stairway. "I suppose I'll be really relying on you," Jill went down and looked around.

"Watch out, it seems you awoken some fellas," From in front of Jill, 4 zombies came alive on the streets, one thing I hate about these abominations, they like to fake their death and only come alive if someone's near them. Easily though, she shot them all out, I don't recall Jill being such a good shooter in the game, oh wait, I'm the bad shooter.

"R.P.D training must be effective," I observed, to have that accuracy even if the target's as near as 10 foot, is not easy, especially if you're aiming at 4 different targets with each target needing a 3 tap headshot. "We train everyday in S.T.A.R.S, to ordinary folks, it's hell. But to us, it's just another day at the job," thank God I'm born as a business heir and not from a police or military family.

I honestly couldn't imagine the training to even enter as an ordinary soldier. I had an ex-ranger bodyguard once, I've seen him train and it's worse than hell let me tell ya. "How do you train," Jill asked while approaching the diner, opening the door slightly and stretching her gun forward to be ready for any surprises.

"For the initiation, it's as simple as being drowned and getting tied on train tracks, it's gruesome but after that, it's easygoing," she grunted and took the handgun ammo on the counter and proceed to go to the back room. "Blimey! 25 cents for a donut, that's awfully cheap!" Any donut I've eaten cost a minimum of a couple dollars, but this, this is just outrageous.

"It's a 2 inch donut, of course it's cheap," Jill's voice made it here from inside the room, a 2 inch donut, now that makes more sense. "Calian, check this out, another one of the fancy boxes with a red jewel inside it," she held it up closer to the lightbulb, shining gloriously through it, magnificent. "We've got all three now, just to make it back to the station," I searched around and found nothing of use before we got out.

"How convenient, more zombies up front, why am I not surprised," Jill touched her forehead and shot an oil barrel near some scaffolding and exploded the rest of the zombies with it in an expense of a rapidly falling scaffolding, crushing the zombies, preventing them from ever going back up again. "Now that's taken care of."

"I have a feeling we're going through that alley, any opinions," I jokingly remarked pointing my gun at the steel mesh door covering a nearby aisle. "Well, I do know that after this is over, I'm not visiting any more alleys," we both let out a calm laugh, optimism and humor is to be needed in a situation like this.

Now, only to go through another dark, zombified alley.

The more you live, the more you know and as they say, "Death is the Next Greatest Adventure". I can't lie but say it's true, although a great adventure may include getting chased by a dragon. But hey! That's the price you pay for getting to live twice... Right??

A short notice regarding the worlds in this fanfiction, the worlds such as, Harry Potter/The Wizarding World, is not like the movies, I make the worlds have more lore than the movie does, so if things are different like the strongest character isn't the strongest, and if characters that's not supposed to exist in that world (OCs) actually esists in my fanfiction, that's just me making things interesting, and if you like things that are original, meaning no OCs or everything is the same as the originals, then don't like, don't read.

My third foray into the world of games, today we'll be talking about Valve's 4-player cooperative zombie shooter. I'll be offering a few different possible MC's: One insert character, one reincarnation, and one transmigration. Now I know some of you may say that you could use the same character idea for both rebirth and transference, but I'm trying to be original.

So, just for a frame of reference, Left 4 Dead takes place 2 weeks after Patient Zero was infected, and Left 4 Dead 2 takes place a week after the first game. The first idea for the protagonist is for an in-universe character. My suggestion is for their job to be something in the military, or S.W.A.T.  as this would give him essential experience in fighting and survival tactics. Definitely a high ranking officer, maybe a captain. Obviously, he would also be immune, as there would be no point to making a fleshed out main character who dies in the first 6 chapters. Maybe he could have a bit of a prepper streak, stocking up on bottled water and non-perishable food, ammo, and possibly constructing a safe house, or repairing and refurbishing an old bomb shelter. Eventually, he'll catch wind of the situation and will be recalled by the military, but during transport they get attacked, and he is the sole survivor. Now, if you want to stay in line with the original game, he could find a trio of other people, who will depend on him as the leader. Or you could have him find a single partner(romance, if you like). Also, totally down if you'd like to give him a canine companion, I think dogs in apocalyptic settings are great.

Next up is a tale of rebirth, into a world of relative horror. Usually with these reincarnation ideas, I use fans of the series in question, since their knowledge would help them survive, and I don't see any reason to change it here. Sure, it's possible to just thrust some random Joe into a zombie apocalypse, but unless they're really lucky, they'd most likely die. Now, is it one of those die then wake up rebirths or will the MC meet God and get some wishes? I'm leaning more toward the wishes, but only because they can be limited to only being something within human bounds. So, no superpowers, just enhanced attributes, or immunity to the Green Flu. Maybe he'll be allowed to choose when he's reborn and where, but not which world he's going to.

As for transmigration, I thought I'd do something different, but I'm not sure how you would react. Why don't we take a character from another zombie franchise? Someone like Chris Redfield or Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil. But if that isn't your speed, why not have a gamer wake up in the body of one of the eight survivors? My personal choices would be Francis, Nick or Ellis. I pick Francis the most, but that's just cause I too, hate everything.

So, I have these ideas float around my head constantly. I figured since I'm not using them, someone else could. If you read them and feel like writing about it, feel free. I'd rather focus on my own novel, so they are fair game for anybody. I'd love to read them if they are ever used.

Earth left devastated after the first zombie appeared half of humanity remains. ZOC people who kill zombies they were established to keep to take back earth.

Zombies they feel no remorse or regret. "Ugh I ren holsen should  have killed her if only I pulled her down with me, rin yao if only I killed her"

Zombies mostly go with ten zombies they never go alone. Ren holsen was walking with some zombies to find something to eat. "Sir I found five zombies should I take the shot"

The shooter was pointed at ren's face which means he would go first "permission to shoot granted"

BANG! "If only I could go back 8 years ago"

"Ring"

When ren opened his eyes he wasn't in the after life nor laying on the ground, but he was at a church "This is great I am back 8 years ago on the day where it happened, Rin yao prepare your self I am gonna kill you"

What would you do if you got sent back in the past to undo every mistake and kill every bastards who deceived you, would you take that chance.

Yuda was a former member of the black snake gang who joined in the star army. However, because he deserted, the result was the death of other troops, he was given the choice to receive military punishment or exile from the base. In the end, he chose to bring some of his closest colleagues out of the base. The last two months, he went back to Black Snake Island. But two weeks ago, when their supply was running low, he was finally forced to return to Bali.
Not long after that, he began capturing and forcing several people with threats and gifts. One by one, his group became bigger and needed more weapons. Finally, the idea arose to trap and seize the equipment of the Star Army troops. He thought as long as with enough weapons he could easily move to another island and become the king of that island.
But tonight, his fortune had finally ended. He had never thought this place would be harboring such a terrible monster. This monster had completely decimated his 50 troops in less than 5 minutes. He did not know how many had survived. How could humans win against this monster. But there was only one thing he could do… It was to escape.
"Lieutenant Chrisss run! Run immediately!"
Without saying anything more, Yuda immediately ran toward the stairs down to the first floor ... but Dylan caught and tackled him down onto the floor.
"Where is the Octo unit?"
"Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean too. But they are… they are dead... all are dead! Let me go! let go! It's  coming! It's coming!!!"
THUD! THUD!
The giant black monster, almost as high as the ceiling, was only dozens meters away from their position. Some of the new troops around Dylan trembled.
"Lieutenant Chris..."
"Don't shoot!"
"If the monster in front is a third-level zombie, then according to our intel, our firearms will not hurt it. Wait for my signal, all of you are to immediately run out of this room and call for reinforcements."
Lieutenant Chris threw a grenade at the monster and either by luck or by stupidity the monster caught it.
"Now!"
Kabooommm !!!!
The grenade exploded right in the monster's hand and it screamed in pain as the whole unit ran toward the main door. But Dylan saw Lieutenant Chris not running toward the stairs, instead, he ran the other way while shooting at the monster.
Tratatatatatatat Tratatatatat !!!
"Lieutenant!"
Dylan understood that his boss was trying to lure the monster away. Dylan thought for a moment to help the Lieutenant, but Cynthia's sudden shout made him discouraged.
"Come on everyone!"
Dylan ran with everyone as he picked up and pushed Yuda to get out immediately. Before he walked down the stairs, he saw Lieutenant Chris throwing several grenades back at the monster while still running away
Kaboomm!! Kaboomm!!
This time, the black monster avoided the grenades with ease. With the previous explosion destroying one of its arms, the monster looked very angry and ran after Lieutenant Chris. Lieutenant Chris who had reached the Peak Stage of Mortal Realm was the strongest fighter in platoon 077. Only he can do this task.
Dylan and Cynthia, together with their unit, manage to get out of the supermarket. But the horde of zombies had increased to at least two or three times from before they had entered. Dozens of red zombies were also among the horde but facing them was far better than fighting the black zombie. They should be able to use their firearms to escape.
Tratatata Tratatatatat!
The two unit leaders, who were outside, ran closer as soon as Dylan and the others came out.
"What's the matter? Where is Lieutenant Chris?"
"Call the nearest post immediately for help. Tell the threat of stage 3 zombies in this position."
"!!!"
All members of this team knew about stage 3 black zombies. They just didn't expect to find it in this yellow zone. Dylan, the most senior in this platoon, took over command and looked for the best location to escape from the crowd of zombies. 
"There! We'll take the small alley between the two buildings!"
Six grenades were simultaneously thrown at the horde.
Kaboomm! Kaboomm! Kaboomm!
Grenades were actually not very effective against this horde of zombies, but the explosions of several grenades were effective enough to bring down dozens of zombies.
"Cynthia, your unit lead the front, opening the way, the other teams will guard the right and left wings. My unit will guard the rear. Everyone, let's go!"
Tratatatata! Tratatatat!
Dozens of red zombies began to surround them because it was agile and not easy to shoot.
Tratatatata Taratatata
"Watch your bullets, reload your firearms in turns."
Dylan could only despair  seeing a growing horde of zombies.
The distance between the supermarket and the road was about 100 meters. As all 40 armed people took turns firing, they finally arrived at the small alley after a minute. Dylan heard a sound and he suddenly looked at the direction of the supermarket when a figure flew out of the window.
"!!!"
"Lieutenant!!"
Lieutenant Chris was thrown from a second-floor window and fell in the middle of a crowd of zombies.
"We have to help him!" shouted one of the troops. But before Dylan could speak, another figure jumped out through the same window. It was the giant black monster and landed near the Lieutenant.
Cynthia walked over to Dylan. "We have to help him."
Dylan was silent for a moment. Should they return to help the lieutenant or run? Before, they believed that Lieutenant Chris could escape by himself but the conditions this time were different. They could see clearly if they didn't help, the Lieutenant would die. But if he did, he would endanger these 40 people.
Because of the presence of the black monster, no other zombies dared to approach Chris. The black monster lifted Chris with the hand that was previously destroyed by a grenade. In less than 5 minutes, it had grown again as if nothing happened. The hand, which was as big as an adult tree trunk, clenched at the Lieutenant's body.
Lieutenant Chris screamed in pain as his bloodied body and bones felt the pressure from the grip. 
Dylan noticed that the monster's eyes were intent on watching him and his army. Lieutenant Chris was already in its grasp. Why didn't it kill the Lieutenant immediately? It looked like intel on level three Zombies was correct. This black zombie was not like other zombies. 
Level one zombies just attack without thinking, level two zombies followed its instincts like most wild animals. While level three zombies have high intellectual abilities. This level three zombie was luring them to rescue its prey. It was disconcerting.
But Cynthia couldn't take it anymore. "If you're scared, then stay here!"
"Cynthia wait!"
Cynthia was already running, followed by four strongest members who possessed high-level mortal realm stage.
Tratatatat tratatatat
Cynthia and two people used firearms while the other two used melee weapons. Five people lunged forward to approach the black monster. However, as soon as they arrived at a distance of 10 meters from the monster, Lieutenant Chris suddenly shouted loudly.
ARRAGAHHH!!!
The five people ran faster and did not pay attention to their surroundings. As Cynthia's assault rifle ran out of bullets, she threw the firearm and replaced it with two pistols attached to her thighs. She continued shooting at the black monster.
Bang! Clank Bang! Clank!
Like shooting at an iron door, the monster didn't budge.
While the two people, who used guns, shot the zombies around. The other two pushed forward and used their iron rod and spear.
Hiiiaaattt!!!
The two attacked simultaneously the black monster who was stronger and faster than a peak-level realm mortal fighter.
Unexpectedly, the black monster threw the unconscious Lieutenant toward the fighter who used a rod. The impact was so hard that it made the fighter with the rod fell several meters towards the horde of zombies.
The fighter who uses the spear saw an opening and jumped to attack the black monster's head.
Clank!
The attack did not hurt it at all. The spear fighter, still in the air, immediately regretted his action as a large hand came near his sights and slapped him to the ground.
BAAMMM !!
As easy as slapping a mosquito, the fighter never thought that this monster had such strength. He couldn't move his body on the ground as he watched a giant foot hover above him. He could only close his eyes and then… 
CRAAKKK !!
Seeing that terrible sight, Cynthia and the other two fighters felt lost. What should she do now? What can she do?
The black monster shouted.
ROARRRR!!!
It jumped high and fell right on the shooter standing near Cynthia.
CRACKkKk !!
That man was dead instantly. The other shooter tried to run but the large arm caught him.
"AAaaaa!!! No No!!!"
The unlucky man struggled but it was for nothing. The monster opened its mouth full of fangs like a crocodile's mouth and bit his head.
CRUNNCH!
And then throw the rest like trash that you don't need anymore.
"!!!"
Cynthia stood blankly, thinking her life would end here. She whispered a name that was always on her mind. "Barry... Looks like I'll catch up with you quickly."
Cynthia did not run. Instead, she walked toward the black monster while firing both of her pistols
Bang Bang Bang Bang Click!
The moment her bullets ran out, the monster raised its hand to sweep her away. She wanted to avoid it, but her whole body could not move.
Kaboomm!!!
A sudden explosion at the foot of the monster made the monster fall as it missed its attack on Cynthia. A man then swooped over and carried Cynthia as they ran away.
"Dylan!"
"Stupid girl! Do you want to lose your life? Do you really want to meet Barry so soon?"
"...It's because of Barry! Like Barry, I won't run away, I'm not afraid!"
"You're really a stupid girl! Everyone feels fear, Barry too! But what you did was not courage, this is foolishness. Barry wouldn't want you to throw your life away!"
"..."
Dylan ran with all his strength among the crowd of zombies but not more than 20 meters away, he suddenly felt a pressure approaching towards him.
"!!!"
Dylan immediately jumped sideways.
BAAAAMMMM !!!
The black monster landed right where they were before. It was very close! But because of the sudden jump, they both lost balance and fell on the ground.
The monster was only 3 meters in front of them. Cynthia tried to stand up but her knees did not have the strength. Dylan got up and immediately stood in front of Cynthia.
What can they do against this monster? There is nothing! They can only hope in miracles.


In January 2020, the world came to an end. 

When the plague started it, 80% of the population was wiped out.

The battle ended as quickly as it began, but it was not bloody at all. 
Jiang Yi had a hold on the zombie soldiers' door of life—their souls. The Rainbow Soul Spear danced around and shot through each of the soldiers' heads, causing their souls to turn to dust. Then, the soldiers could not help but fall over. All this effort was nothing to Jiang Yi. 
"Uh—"
Yin Ruobing was stunned, watching Jiang Yi fight. Her beautiful eyes locked in on the dancing spear. She was clearly astonished. She watched as the zombie soldiers fell over one by one. Then, she gulped and asked, "Jiang Yi, what kind of incredible genius are you? How are you killing these zombie soldiers so quickly?" 
"Keke!"
Jiang Yi turned around slightly and smiled. "This is a sort of spiritual attack. It's just slightly more unique, that's all. The door of life to these zombie soldiers is their souls. Once I destroy their souls, they would be nothing but corpses." 
"That's not right, Jiang Yi. Isn't your spirit weaker compared to mine? Why is your spiritual attack so strong?" Yin Ruobing's eyes widened as she asked, half to herself. 
"That's quite hard to explain." 
Jiang Yi touched his nose. He could not tell Yin Ruobing about the anomalies of his soul, could he? He paused for a long while before he asked curiously, "How did you all kill the zombie soldiers the last time?" 
Yin Ruobing thought for a while and said, "We could only cause their heads to explode by force. That takes so much more effort. Those zombie soldiers have really tough bodies. Your method of killing them is way less tedious." 
"Haha, let's go!" 
Jiang Yi did not say anything more. He controlled his Rainbow Soul Spear and swept the area, clearing a path for them to head toward Fengdu City.
If someone had been watching them from atop at this moment, they would have seen a majestic sight. Countless zombie soldiers were rushing toward them from all directions. Their bodies emanated a black aura, their eyes were bloodshot, and their bodies reeked of old blood. Many zombies were missing limbs and holding weird weapons in their hands. They walked with their mouths wide open and their limbs at weird angles. The zombies screamed and wailed, and the cold wind made the scene that much creepier. It looked like a scene right out of Netherworld. 
Yet, among the zombie crowd, a young man was advancing rapidly. Beside him, a Rainbow Soul Spear made rounds around his body. As quickly as lightning, the Rainbow Soul Spear shot through the heads of the zombies in the immediate surroundings of the young man, causing them to fall to the ground. Behind the man was an exquisite beauty flying about two inches above the ground. This whole scene would make anyone feel astonished. 
They had no idea where the zombie soldiers were coming from as well. Jiang Yi released his divine senses to scan everything within a fifty-kilometer-radius of themselves. There was no end to the zombie army. The good thing was that these zombie soldiers seemed just as skillful as the ones Jiang Yi met before. This meant that they were of no hindrance to Jiang Yi at all. 
However… 
They traveled thousands of kilometers. Jiang Yi had no idea how many zombies he had killed in total, but he finally was beginning to feel spiritually exhausted. After all, he had to use his mind to control the Rainbow Soul Sphere so that it pierced through each zombie's soul. This was tiring work. 
"Let me take over." 
Yin Ruobing said after noticing that Jiang Yi was getting exhausted. Jiang Yi turned to glance at her. "Would it be tiring for you?" 
"Hmph! Watch me!" 
Yin Ruobing stuck her chin out and then flew ahead of Jiang Yi. The red bow in her hands kept glowing. Scary beams of red light shot out from the bow, turning into hundreds of red arrows that split up and hit the zombies' heads. 
Pong, pong, pong~ 
Hundreds of zombie heads burst open. The scene was extremely gory. Jiang Yi quickly activated his divine shield to avoid getting zombie goo all over himself. He glanced at the red bow and then nodded. "Not bad. Is that an ancient weapon?" 
Yin Ruobing lifted her chin proudly. She turned and said, "That's right. This is the God Shooter Bow. It was famous in ancient times. It matches one of the four- or five-star dao patterns that I've realized. It's quite powerful, isn't it?"
Jiang Yi smiled and gave her a thumbs-up. Then, he kept his Rainbow Soul Spear with relief. On receiving Jiang Yi's praise, Yin Ruobing beamed until her eyes became two crescent moons. She excitedly charged forward, using her red bow to keep shooting down zombies. Hundreds of beams red light kept shooting out from the bow, and hundreds of zombies' heads kept exploding. Their bodies flew backward from the impact. Although she required more effort than Jiang Yi, the results were still good. 
"Is this a wind-elemental upper-tier dao pattern?" 
Jiang Yi curiously asked. He watched the red arrows and realized they resembled blasts of wind. They could even chase after the zombies' heads on their own. Yin Ruobing turned around and smiled again. "That's right. It's the elemental upper-tier dao pattern, the Wind Soul-Chaser. I realized this on my own! I didn't use the mystic realms belonging to my clan." 
"Nice job!"
Jiang Yi gave her a thumbs-up once again, causing Yin Ruobing to beam back at him like a little child gaining the praise of an elder. Her innocent smile, beautiful body, exquisite features, and slender legs taken together made her look like a fairy that had escaped from the forest where she belonged. There was also an attractive fragrance emanating from her body, dissipating the stench of the zombies. This made Jiang Yi wonder for a second whether he really was in Fengdu City. He felt like he was traveling around the world with Yin Ruobing. 
The two of them took turns to fight the zombie soldiers and made good progress toward the end. As they worked together, they did not feel tired. Instead, they energized each other and only took half a day to reach Fengdu City. They looked at the tall, back walls and blood-red city gate. Jiang Yi's expression hardened. 
If there were zombie soldiers outside the city, then it would only be more dangerous inside. What was most important was that She Fei and Zhan Tianlei were probably inside as well. Jiang Yi did not know yet if Zhan Tianlei had figured out who Jiang Yi really was. If he had not, that was a good thing. If he did, then there was trouble awaiting. 
Buzz!
Jiang Yi's Ancient Divine Essence Ring lit up, and a soft sword appeared. To fight Demigods, he had no choice but to make use of his Divine Sound Heaven Skill. If he used the Rainbow Soul Spear, he might do some damage; but Demigods had very short reaction times. There was no way that he would get close enough to their heads with the spear.
"Don't worry, Jiang Yi." 
Yin Ruobing could tell that he was worried. She smiled and reassured him, "Even if we do meet She Fei, I might not be able to force him to retreat, but I can knock him out for a while. There are many intersections in Fengdu City. He won't catch up to us." 
"Uh?"
Jiang Yi gave Yin Ruobing a weird look. This lass could fight Demigods as well? He figured it out really quickly. His eyes twinkled as he asked, "This is the special power of the Fragrant Lady Race?" 
"Mm!" Yin Ruobing blushed. She did not dare to make eye contact with Jiang Yi. 
"Keke, don't be rash. She Fei might not kill me!" Jiang Yi raised his soft sword and charged toward Fengdu City.
Creak-creak!
As the two of them got within a hundred meters of the city gate, the red gates opened up. It looked like the mouth of a gigantic beast, which was ready to swallow them up. 
Jiang Yi grabbed Yin Ruobing's small hand and headed into the city. Immediately, the city gates closed. The zombie soldiers outside the gates retreated at once, leaving behind the corpses all around. The strange thing was that after a second, the corpses lit up and disappeared. Even the black blood that had been splattered everywhere disappeared. The scene outside turned into a desert.
Upon entering Fengdu City, Jiang Yi no longer heard the ghostly cries that he heard before. The Ghost King was created by Ao Lu. Now, Ao Lu was at the Endless Deep Sea. Naturally, the sounds were gone as well. 
"Trouble!"
The two of them looked in front and saw a dense army of zombie soldiers heading toward them once again. These zombies were different from the ones outside. They had double the speed and sphere of influence. What's more, about three kilometers away from the two of them stood a huge zombie beast. They guessed that these zombies were several times stronger and bigger than the ones outside. As for the zombie beast, they had no idea what to expect.

I honestly don't know what I'm doing, before all this I was just some very forgetable Yes man. Working graveyard shifts and staying away from the 3 vices as much as I can but, when I woke up on an underground train a couple of hours ago something just clicked. And I started acting like some comedic Jacky Chan rip off. It must be this body, I just car jacked or body jacked, that's making me act funny.Yup I blame it on this body. I'm the type of person that bottles my sarcastic comments to myself and I wasn't this bold either. But right now, I really don't know who to blame about this blunder. Who would have guessed that the vial for the T-virus cure doesn't come with it's own needle...

After being kid zoned by Alice, Spence called out from the hall saying we were about to march forth since One and Kaplan found us a quicker route to take. We started with a light jog, me keeping up with Kaplan. Noticing I was somewhat bleeding he ask me "What happend to you?" I just gave him an exasperated look while giving my reply " That's the last time, I'm walking into a tearful family reunion. Worst than breaking up a cat fight." "Ah-Huh, forget I asked" he says while picking up his face. I wish it was DJ... I mean JD that was here, he'll know what I'm talking about.

A couple of bends and hallways later, I just remember Matt getting scrached by the Spence mutant zombie. ("Wasn't there a scene where the wound on his shoulder wriggled and some tentackles poke out of the wound?"). That seriously made my heart jumped, as I inspect my wound again. Glasses girl anoying voice rang from my ear, I then recall her saying that you have to take the cure 10mins after being bit or you would still join the undead legion even if to got hit with the cure. Scared as hell now,  I spotted a room with a red cross symbol mean a clinic or sort. I broke off from the group by slowing my pace down till, I was at very back of the group with out them noticing me. Seeing them turn right at next hallway, dashing to the room before.

I quickly took out the plastic tube I had with the cure. I made certain to take the green color vial out, I'm sure this is the cure 'cause when I took the vials off the case before there were green vials the size of a crayon on each of the case corners. Meaning its some precaution encase there's a leak within the case, the cure from those vials would nutralize the virus. As I was about ready to stab myself with the cure, that's when I knew there's something missing. "Where's the pointy end on this thing?!" Shyte, the clock was ticking. I can't remember how long was I scrached, but I could tell by the feeling in my shoulder that the virus is nearing my heart now. This is a do or die moment for me, I had to do something. If I run back to the group, in hope to reach the train early enough to get a hit of the cure 'cause I was sure there a delivery device thingy within the case. But that's a lost cause, spence will soon betray the mercs and lock them up with a zombie, leading to Kaplan shuting the system off once more setting loose the lickers in the process. And going back to Zheng and the rest will be ill advised since there there closest to the licker chamber and I most likely won't have any chance to reaching them in time. So scavenger hunt it is, I need to look for a delivery device to use the cure with. 

Meanwhile... with Zhengs group...

After the mercenaries left, Lan laughed. "Did you see that? They were looking at us with sympathy. I wonder how they will feel when they encounter the lickers." With three sturdy metallic doors and the defensive system of the corridor, this was a very safe place. At least compared to what the casts had to face. The four of them finally could relax. Jie also handed some cigarettes to Zheng. And they started to talk about god's dimension again...

"There are too many good things you can exchange from God. I haven't even finished reading through the list. It has four categories. 1. Scientific, such as guns, bullet proof vests, and even some weapons that only appeared in scifi movies, but they also cost a fortune. They're not something I can afford. 2. Magical items, like scrolls, Taoist charms, amulets, and swords."........"on the third category of things you can exchange. Support items, like antidote, drugs with healing properties, perishables like bullets, some scifi items like invisible cloak, and enhancement items." 

"I was overjoyed when I saw the enhancement items. Like the genetic mutation of spiderman, the description said it lets you obtain the bloodline of spiderman, increasing intelligence by 20, mental capacity by 20, cell vitality by 50, reaction speed by 100, muscle density by 100, and immunization by 150 points. and you also get the web shooter ability. All these for just 2000 points." Zheng and the other two was surprised. Lan counted then said. "The enhancements alone would cost 3000 points, and you get a web shooter ability. This is too cost effective, why didn't you exchange it?"Jie waved his hand with a bitter smile. "I do want to. If i have this genetic mutation then I won't be in danger in movies like Resident Evil. But this type of enhancements cost side quest rewards. Rank A reward can be reduced to three rank B rewards. Rank B can be reduced to three rank C and so forth. The lowest rank is D. I have only seen the reward appear once. It isn't something you can easily get."Zheng held the urge to tell them he had a rank B reward. 
He asked, "What rank reward does the spiderman mutation needs?"Jie took out another cigarette. "It needs a rank C reward. I have also looked at a few rank D enhancements. Like battle Qi, rank D gives you entry level Qi, but the but the high level Qi would require rank B or even A rewards.""There's also T virus mutation, like the one Alice has. It increases intelligence by 20, mental capacity by 20, cell vitality by 50, reaction speed by 50, muscle density by 50, immunization by 100, and the evolution ability of T virus. It needs 1500 points and a rank C reward. It's so lucky to be the main character of this movie. She gets it without doing anything. "Zheng felt he was blessed, this meant once he survived through this movie, he could exchange for quite a few enhancements. He had some more hope in his future. 

"Ah, yeah by the way...Why were you so tough on that kid?" Zheng couldn't help but ask Jie about the treatment he was giving that trainee kid.

With a puff of smoke Jie sighed " That kid has alot of potential, truth be told he was the first one to wake up but a soon as he saw my face. He shut his eye back up, trying fool people he was asleep and knocked out. But what kind of knocked out person, cracks his one eye to look around the room and snoop on other people conversation. I know that type of kid and his a rascal, you can't give them an inch 'cause they'll surely take a mile." Zheng was dumb founded by Jie's opinion of the kid. Just when Jie was to continue, that's when the lights in the room went out...

Back to Kris...

After spending the time to look for another delivery device for the cure, he still haven't found any signs of the thing not even a syringe. Starting to feel the burning sensation near his chest area, the light went out. Scrambling to find a hiding spot, knowing the licker are now out to play, he found a big stainless steel cabinet with suitable size drawers. He quickly emptied its contents removed the drawers, laid the now hollow cabinet on top of himself all the while inside the 3rd clinic he found. Starting to feel the burning sensation more than before, he made the smartest or maybe the stupidest decision he had ever made in his life. And cracked open the cure and drunk it, then passing out.

Have any of you watched that movie where these group of friends went to vegas, and woke up the next day not knowing what the hell happend the previous night and how they lost one of their friend, just to find out one of them mixed some drug in there drink... well some of you guys know the rest. Point is... I am in that wtf moment, diffirence is I know exactly where I am and I know how fooked I am. 

This is a Terror Infinity fan-fic, obviously... but now that I'm in it, things might go differently just that this is kinda toss for me cause I roll a dice on some choices and work something out with the results... this is just for fun for me so... yeah just a heads up btw I haven't actually finish reading TI cause of the bad translations. hope you enjoy like I will.
