In a secluded alley, a young man was cowering beside a big trash can trying to hid himself from the hideous flesh-eating monsters wandering around the streets.

Yes, that cowering little man was Adam.

" F*ck! system what should I do?! They are everywhere! I'm doomed. I'm still young and haven't experienced the world yet and you left me here in this world  just to let this monsters feast on my tender flesh!?"

Adam's whispering had attracted one zombie to walk near where he is hiding.

It's coming! it's coming!

'Farewell apocalyptic world~ it's was a short journey and I will immediately pass on again. Thank you for the experience and may I never be here again.' Adam's internal speech as he watched a wretched zombie full of decaying flesh with hanging intestine swinging as it walks towards him.

'System, please arrange me to a peaceful world next.'

Ding!
" I'm sorry to inform the host that you have insufficient authority for another rebirth. Please, do your best to level up." the [system] said to Adam as he watched it's host making a joke of it's self.

[system] : sigh*

Adam is currently in his phantom state making the zombie only aware if his presence but not knowing he was human.

" I wish the token had given me a long range attack or something. System, why don't you give me some or maybe adjust  [ brave ] and make me fearless." Adam tried to negotiate with the system.

Ding!
" [ brave ] only make the host not collapse when he kills but cannot change the innate character of the host", the system explained.

sigh*

I guess I can only kill some zombie to become stronger. 

" System can you give me rewards or something if I kill this zombie?" Adam asked as he watched a zombie approach him leaving only a distance of 5 meters.

'Thankfully this zombie is quite old and slow. Maybe I can kill it.'

Ding!
" The host had 5 times the base strength of human and killing this zombie is a matter of course." 

oooh... I had a powerful strenght! If an average human can carry a weight of 50 kg can't I carry 250 kg?!

Let's try it!

Adam then stand up from his position and the zombie stops as it observed the action of the ghostly thing in front of it.

Let's go behind it and stab it with my dagger!

Adam then slowly creeps behind the zombie and the zombie still have no preemptive action towards Adam. 

For the zombies, Adam in its phantom state is like only a gust of air and they have no instinct to attack it. They are only attracted by the noise Adam makes.

As Adam was already behind the zombie, he undo his phantom state and activates [ shadow stab ].

Adam's movement become blurry as he stab the blade on the back of the zombies head, aiming for it's brain.

The zombie inly felt the presence of a human behind it and didn't have ability to respond as the blade sunk on its skull.

After completing this set of action, Adam hurriedly steps back and activate [ phantom traveller ] again, afraid of incoming attack.

As black fluid flows out from the head of the zombie along with some brain matter, Adam waits for his vomit to come but it didn't.

[ brave ] really serve its purpose and is useful for those who never experienced killing anything.

The body of the zombie sways a little and then fall down. That's when the system announcement appear.

ding!
" Congratulation host for killing an ordinary zombie. Reward +100 experience point, 1 token and 2x antivirus serum.

100/1000 experience point needed to level up."

ding!
" Congratulation for completing the achievement [ first kill ] and recieves +10 attributes for all attributes."

Adam only felt a surge of energy brewing inside him making him stronger. After experiencing how to kill a zombie for the first time, he only felt that it's not that bad at all.

' hehehe! I'm actually strong!' Adam's internal monologue as he praise his bravery and masterful skill.

" System, had you seen that! I'm pretty amazing. Too bad there are no people to appreciate my masterful skill" Adam said narcissistically.

ding!
" Keep up the good work host!"

Adam felt elated for his achievement. As a person who grows up most of his life in a hospital, such an action scene is only in his imagination. But now? Not anymore~ hehehe

But his celebration was cut short as he hear a sonorous rhythm of growls behind him. As he look on his back he was shocked to see that ten zombies had gathered near him, approaching the remains of the zombie he killed.

"I-I'm sorry everyone for blocking your way. Please continue and check your friend's situation" Adam said nervously. 

huu..thankfully I always activate phantom state.

Imagine if he forgot to be in his phantom state then a zombie pounce on him.

Adam then check his level up progress.

'hmmn... one ordinary zombie gives 100 experience points. I need nine more to level up'

He then glance at the group of zombie a d contemplates.

' Impossible. Yes completely impossible. It's better to hunt those loner zombie dudes than to risk my life in fighting these zombie. Hai! cherishing life is the King's way.'

Adam then turned away from the group of zombies completely devoid of any sorrow of missing experience point. 

'I'm not obliged to be on the top. Mama [ system ] is not among those tyrannical ones who forces their host to do impossible tasks. Yes, lets keep leveling on my own pace.'

Then he swaggered of to another alley without zombie. 

No zombie equals safety. I, Adam is not an idiot to experience walking in a dense crowd of zombies. What if I accidentally turn off phantom state? Won't I be ravaged like an innocent girl in front of deprived prisoners? Completely not allowed to happen.

Adam then without any sense of being ashamed of his reasoning look for a more secluded area.

What will happen if a teen who had always lived his past life in the hospital and without worldly experience is transmigrated into an apocalyptic world? Is he going to rise or fall?

Witness as Adam, a wimp and scaredy-cat was thrown into the apocalypse, being carried by the system in his journey in becoming the World's top existence, the [Lord].


Note: This is my first time writing and please don't expect much.

The mc is very op so if you are one of those guys who like those weak to strong ones, this book will probably not suit your taste. But if you want, you can still try reading it.

I decide to skip the whole encounter with the slime and the wolf and went to options to turn off auto enter but i did make sure to turn up late to get the skill 'physical Endurance' and right now Shin just asked me a question. "They are fine just a little sore" i say. "so why did you come late. you now his temper" shin says " I had things to do" i say. I check my status window and my int is higher than jihans was at first then i go home.

I get the bat and the items jihan had and walked around to see if i could find any zombie dungeons and i did then entered it. "time to get to work" I run up to a zombie and start whacking it [A new skill has been created  with a specific action. Strong hit is created] [A new skill is created with a specific action. Skilled weapon is created] I pay no mind to it and the zombie died and dropped a stone and i got a level up. i put the 5 points into int and i have something i want to do with the stone. i place the stone in my hand and try to create things out of it nanobots. i imagine the shape of it. its very small and have four little legs and a point at the bottom for draining mana.
[A new skill has be created by a specific action. nanobot creation has been created] ''Yes it worked and there is still some of the stone left" i create 9 more nanobots and now i have 10. I order them to go find zombies and drain them till they die and bring back the stones. i keep one with me and use it on the zombie coming towards me. the nanobot drains it and it gave me 1 mana every minute. Since my mana bar was full i used the one the bot was giving me to try to upgrade it. i put lots of mana in it and it worked [A new skill has been created by a specific action.enhance nanobot creation has been created] I have 150 mana left after i put 50 in the bot and i have 2 ideas left specialized bots like attack bots drain bots, storage bots,healing bots and enhancement bots.
sense i dont know space magic yet the storage bots cannot exist and for my final idea its strengthening my body with mana like cultivation i inject my body with mana and try to strengthen it. It hurts like a Bitch my body burns up and i spend 100 mana to increase my strength by 3. [A new skill has been created by a specific action. cultivation has been created.] Ok after that i just go around killing zombies and observing them to get my observation skill. I got the zombie title and i am lvl 13 and i see the red thing and the sky and create more enhanced nano bots and bot to hold mana to drain that thing and the bots get loaded with mana but they do not upgrade because i need materials for that.

Han Jiang, he was one of many people who left the base the moment the danger arrived. However, little people did know that he did not truly leave the base.
He was hiding the proximity base with his group, watching the battle unfolded. When the first zombie horde was cleared, he planned to go back and took over the base from Tang Shaoyang with his group.
But then, he heard there was another zombie horde coming, a bigger zombie horde. With an additional group of apes, Han Jiang canceled his plan to take over the base.
He then searched for more people and recruited them into his group.
Han Jiang and his group were one of the famous groups in the base hence he easily recruited more people into his group. When he told his plan to his people, everyone immediately agreed to his plan.
The importance of the base was absolute. Han Jiang realized that after staying in the base. It had resources that people could not get just by killing the zombies.
A talent, the General Shop, and more importantly the rumored class. Han Jiang could not miss this chance to take over the base.
While Tang Shaoyang and the people staying in the base fought the second horde, Han Jiang had been gathering people. Thanks to his unrelenting effort, he managed to recruit 209 people to his group. With his original party, now he had 239 people.
All these people were the people who decided to leave the base just like him. Hence he easily recruited him either by force or persuasion. On the fourth day, he managed to gather 239 people, it was time to claim the base.
"Why are we not allowed to go back to our home?" Han Jiang shamelessly confronted Zhang Mengyao.
He claimed the base as his home when he left the moment crisis arose.
Zhang Mengyao cast a disgusted look at the shameless man, "You left instead of protecting your so-called home, and you still dare to call this as your home!"

He was Han Jiang's right man, Shi Ping. He was in fact the one who planned everything. The mastermind behind Han Jiang's action.
"Your apologies accepted, now you can leave!" Tao He who was watching silently from the sideline finally spoke out. With his cold voice, he told these people to leave.
"But why? We have apologized, we regretted our choice, and I do believe we deserve the second chance!" Shi Ping raised his voice at Tao He.
'Tsk, this unknown dude acts as a leader in front of me, let's see how you are going to face my people!'
"Yeah! We deserve the second chance as well!"
"We regret it, why can't we join back with you guys!"
"We promise we will not do it again!"
"We have apologized!"
"Who are you? Why do you act as a leader?"
"Where's Tang Shaoyang? We want justice!"
The people behind Shi Ping and Han Jiang started to raise their voices as well.
Zhang Mengyao flinched slightly. She was unsure of what to do. Accepting these people had pros and cons, she had to think carefully. Moreover, she needed to discuss this with Tang Shaoyang.
After the battle, they lost half of their forces. Accepting these people back would recoup their loss. If another zombie horde came to attack, they would have more people to fight the zombie horde. This was one of the pros.
The con was she was afraid these people did not blend well with the people who chose to stay in the battle. It would break the harmony in the base.
"You don't like it, then fight me!" Tao He raised his spear and pointed the spear toward Shi Ping.
Tao He's hot temper was understandable. He lost his two friends in the battle against the first zombie horde. He did not blame Zhang Mengyao but he blamed the people who left the base. If they did not leave the base, he believed they could defeat the zombie horde with fewer casualties.
"What? Do you want to fight? Let's fight then!"
"Let's kill this cocky guy!"
"Yeah, kill that annoying guy!"
The people behind Shi Ping and Han Jiang started to pull their weapons out as well. A clash was about to break up between the two groups.
However, Zhang Mengyao's group only had thirty-three people. They lost in numbers.
During this time, Shi Ping winked his right eye at Han Jiang. Even though the plan did not go smoothly because of Tao He's intervention, it still went well.
The original plan was to lure Tang Shaoyang out of the base before they started the fight. They wanted to take advantage of Tang Shaoyang's exhaustion to kill him and his people. That was the plan, but with or without Tang Shaoyang, they had to give a go now.
Killing these thirty people would also cripple Tang Shaoyang's strength. It was the same as cutting one of his arms.
Zhang Mengyao panicked on the inside. She was still unsure of what to do with these people. Since the battle against the first battle against the zombie horde, her confidence was shaken. She was starting to afraid to make a decision without thinking about it carefully. She was afraid her decision would lead to a disaster just like before.
However, the people behind Zhang Mengyao also started to pull their weapons out. Despite being overwhelmed by the numbers, they were not afraid. They had faced the zombie horde, many of them. Over two hundred people did not scare them, at all.
When Zhang Mengyao was about to calm the two sides, she heard a familiar voice.
"What's with the commotion!"
Her face immediately brightened up as if her savior was coming. She truly did not want bloodshed after the long battle against the zombie horde.
Zhang Mengyao's group lowered their weapons as the thirty people moved aside, creating a path for Tang Shaoyang to walk.
Tang Shaoyang walked up with Destroyer on his shoulder. Behind him, Lu An closely followed with a sword on his waist.
Shi Ping and Han Jiang's face brightened up at the sight of Tang Shaoyang. Even though they could not see a sign of exhaustion on his face, Tang Shaoyang was their main target.
The main reason was Origin, the AI that controlled the base. By killing Tang Shaoyang, Shi Ping thought the AI would obey Tang Shaoyang's killer. Hence if they wanted to take the base smoothly, they had to kill Tang Shaoyang at any cost.
Tang Shaoyang hugged Zhang Mengyao's waist with his empty hand and whispered, "Dear, you should not hesitate when facing unfaithful people like them!"
"Their mouths may say they regretted their past action, but we don't know their hearts. However, I know a certain thing. They leave once when the crisis arises so I have a question for you,"
"Do you think it would be easier or harder for them to leave again when danger approaches our base?"
Zhang Mengyao fell silent at the question despite having an answer. She knew the answer, it would be easier for them to leave the base again.

"This can't be! With that kind of wound," said the teacher covering her lips with both hands as she looked at the fallen teacher.
At that moment, the fallen teacher suddenly opened his eyes. His skin had darkened, with an empty look and a large amount of saliva coming out of his mouth. Signs that he had become a zombie.
The teachers did not notice these changes. Surprised, they thought happily that he had not died yet.
"Quick, quick. Let's get him to the infirmary!" They said, as the two teachers stepped forward to help.
However, the moment the two masters picked him up, the master who had turned into a zombie opened his mouth, dying the neck of the masters, before turning around and biting the arm of the other master.
"Puff...!"
The blood flew into the air, as the zombie slowly rose.
The teacher who saw all this, not counting the large amount of blood. He made fear invade his rationing, falling directly to the ground.
"Help!" cried the teacher, seeking help.
She wanted to run, but her legs wouldn't respond, and now the zombie was staggering towards her.
"No! Don't come closer! Get away!"
The teacher was trying to crawl backwards, but her speed couldn't keep the zombie away.
"I-I'm going to die," the teacher muttered, when she saw that the zombie had come in front of her, as she opened her mouth, intending to bite it.
But at that moment, she heard a male voice. It was unknown, not at all familiar.
"Close your eyes"
The teacher unconsciously closed her eyes.
Before there was a sound of something sticking to the ground.
"Boooom!"
Making it sound loud.
The teacher quickly opened her eyes. But the zombie was no longer in front of her.
Now in front of her, there was a big sword.
The big sword had pierced the back of the zombie that was about to be cut down, as it plunged into the ground.
"I-It..." She said in a daze, this sudden change left her in shock.
"Are you okay?"
Then, she heard the same unknown voice again, coming up behind her.
Turning around, the source of the voice greeted her with her appearance.
A teenager!

Oh! By the way, I am only a D-rank; the mission my wife give me was to hunt down a horde of 20 D-rank zombies with a potential of a C-rank being somewhere in the mix of them.

Melio steadies himself as the first zombie appeared; Melio lifted his Katana and slashed at the zombie.
However, the zombie dodged to its left, making Melio miss.
'Nani?' Melio thought as he quickly retreats, creating space between him and the horde.
Melio then scans the area; he is looking for a weak spot to attack and retreat.
Unfortunately, Melio couldn't find one.
'I think the C-rank zombie is behind this... Esme did say the higher the rank, the more intelligence the monsters will have.' Melio remembered what Esme told him this morning.
Grah!
'That voice...' Melio looks in the center back of the horde; what's when he discovered the C-rank zombie, its glowing yellow eyes.
Melio then thinks of a plan.
He dashed to the right-center side of the horde, killing four zombies in a quickness cut off their heads; once Melio killed the fourth zombie. He retreated; Melio killed a fifth one that was close to him as Melio was backing off.
Melio then attacks in the front-center of the horde. However, the zombies were waiting for his moment. Two zombies attack simultaneously; Melio ducked under and cut one zombie in half while kicking the other zombie towards the sky.
Melio jumps up, cutting the zombie mid-air in three.
Zombies prepare for Melio's landing to surround him. However, Melio used a piece of the zombie to jump away to a safe landing spot.
In the palace, Esme and her sisters sit in the living room.
They have been watching Melio in action since he turned on the androids.
Esme was taken by surprise. Melio's movement around the battlefield was a work of art in her eyes.
However, Esme was a little scared when Melio jumped up to kill the 6th zombie; she stood up because Esme could see that the zombies preparing to strike him once he landed.
That's when Melio did something; he used the upper body of the zombie mid-air to jump away from the 14 zombies waiting below him.
Jill was holding tight to the couch pillow as she was watching her brother-in-law in action. Unknown to her, Jill was attracted by Melio even more as she watches his performance.
Hera and Amelia are both at Hera's place watching Melio in action, cheering crazily for Melio as He kills the zombies before him.
Their faith in Melio was raised so high they believed he was a god of war in human flesh.

During this time, Melio has killed another four zombies as he attacks and retreats. But, Melio knew that the C-rank zombie was catching on to his attack pattern. That's when Melio started to risk it for the biscuit.
Melio went to attack the C-rank zombie head-on.
Esme noticed something special with this zombie. She controlled one of the android's cameras to zoom in on the zombie's eyes.
That's when she noticed that the zombie was near a breakthrough in its rank.
On the edge of the yellow eye zombie, there was another color, green.
Esme touched the ring on her finger, worried for her husband.
The C-rank zombie kicked Melio and some blood leaked from Melio's mouth. The other five zombies tried to attack him as he was sent flying back; however, Melio started to spin his body mid-air killing two zombies that tried to catch him.
Now only three D-rank zombies and the C-rank zombie left.
The C-rank zombie took action that shook Melio.
The C-rank zombie started to eat the dead ones while the other three protected him.
'Shit.' Melio rushed towards the three zombies.
Surprisingly these zombies were smarter than the rest.
Only two attacked Melio while one stayed behind next to the yellow eye zombie.
They attacked as Melio dodged, trying to look for an opening quickly; something inside Melio told him that what the yellow eye zombie is doing is dangerous. Unfortunately, these zombies were stopping him.
Melio had enough and decided to go all out. Melio activated a trap card that Esme give him this morning.
Just in case his life is in danger.
A lightning ark flashed, killing the three zombies in one strike.
Sadly it was too late.
The C-rank zombie turned into a B-rank, and its eyes turned green.
"Fook!" not only Melio but even the chatroom started saying fuck.
Esme pours her energy into the ring; however, teleport wasn't appearing.
Esme looks at the screen as sees Melio putting his ring into his pocket.
"I need to show your grandfather I am worthy of you." Melio's voice was filled with determination.
Melio went for the attack.
Block!
The zombie blocked Melio's attack.
The zombie used his bones that extend out of his forearm above his hand.
'What the...' Melio was once again tossed backward by the green eye zombie.
Melio looked at the green eye zombie.
"Do or die." Melio kicks dirt in the face of the zombie; Melio grabs more dirt before jumping up and throwing some more towards the zombie.
Then they both exchange one final blow.
[...: OMFG, this mother fucker is crazy!]
[...: That was smart using dirt like that.]
[...: Only smart if he survived that final exchange.]
[Hera: I believe in Melio!]
[Holy Maiden: I can feel that he is still alive.]
Just like Amelia said it.
The body that fallen was the green eye zombie, and Melio stood there strong. However, his body was covered in black lightning and a dark aura.
Melio puts his hand in his pocket, pulls out his ring quickly puts it on.
With no hesitation, Esme teleported towards Melio.
Just as Melio's body was falling forward, his face landed on a bouncy pair of boobs.
Melio looked up, seeing his wife showing a concerned look.
"Wife, I hope I made you proud. " Melio said before closing his eyes, falling into a deep sleep.
Esme stares at her husband.
"You did..." Esme kissed his forehead.
Esme looked at the cameras.
"My husband just cleared a C-rank mission while being at D-rank. He did the impossible; He soloed a mission, something no Z hunter can ever do. Thank you for watching and supporting my husband. Goodbye." Esme turns off the androids; she then pulls out her phone to call her guild to pick them up and take out the crystals inside of the zombies.
Esme sits against a tree while Melio's head rests on her lap.
'How did you get this strong with no Ab points? How much stronger will you get? Why did you refuse to divorce me? Why am I reluctant to let you go? Can we really have a husband and wife relationship?' Many thoughts go through Esme's head as she stares at Melio sleeping on her lap.
An armored vehicle appeared, Jill, Emma, Cecily, Amelia appeared with the other guild members of League of Maidens.
200 meters away, a small group can be seen retreating from the shadows.
"Boss, his wife appeared out of nowhere when we were about to attack. She isn't an S-rank anymore; I felt her aura. She is SS-rank, probably early-stage or midstage... We are currently retreating; her entire guild arrived a few minutes after." The man spoke on a secure line on the phone while walking away with a squad of 6 people.
The man didn't wait for a response; he hanged up, his squad started to leave the area as fast as possible.
S-rank, SS-rank, SSS-rank have three-level within them, early-stage, midstage, and late stage.
These three ranks are the only ranks with three levels within the ranks.
Esme is in the car with her sisters after sending her squad to Z Hunters HQ to turn in the mission she gave to Melio and for them to sell the crystal core to the HQ.
Hera stayed with Esme, Jill, Emma, and Cecily to make medicine for Melio. Amelia was called by the hospital that needed her to save lives. 
Amelia cast a quick healing spell on Melio before leaving.
Esme; however, she won't go of Melio.
Esme realized something as she watched this man put his life on the line twice for her sake. Esme knows Melio is doing all this for her, yet what has she done for him?
That's when she remembers the incident in the bathroom. Esme's face got red.
"Esme, you also notice the assassin that was in the area, right?" Cecily asked her twin sister. Cecily is currently driving back to the royal palace.
" I have, but I did not act since Melio needed me to stay by his side. They ran from the area once I appeared on the scene; I believe they're from the league of shadows, the assassin organization from the Eastern Sector. But, right now, my main concern is Melio's well-being.
If they appear again, I'll make a move. However, Melio wants to prove to our grandfather that he is worthy of being my husband. Sisters grandfather knows of the oath we all took when we were kids; this is why he put all this pressure on Melio. I only hope Melio can succeed." Esme answered her sister's question about the assassins and told everyone in the car where they were from.
The girls were shocked League of Shadows is the number one assassin guild in the world; anyone who has been on their kill list has been killed.
The sisters remembered their oath; however, Jill stares at Melio, who is beside her sister.
Unknown to everyone in the car, what Melio did cost an uproar on zTube.tv, the radio, or the news channel, everyone whose anyone is talking about Melio's Solo mission completion.
After today, Melio will be loved by a few, hated by many.
