Oh MY GANAPATHY BAPA What happening in my life Ahh now I'm standing in middle of a forest in Assam with Stanger while wearing their traditional wedding dress and getting married to that Stanger against my will.

tidak lama tanah bergetar, karena ada sesuatu yang jatuh dari Langit, itu adalah giant cyclop ,"arggggghhhhhh" monster itu berteriak, kami pun langsung bersiaga di posisi masing-masing, ketegangan muncul di wajah amanda, sedangkan andre sangat percaya diri karena tombak barunya tidak mungkin hancur dengan mudah,

aku doemni 17 tahun terpindahkan kedunia fantasi tanpa sebab seperti di tabrak truk ataupun kesambar petir seperti layaknya anime anime yang aku lihat

He didn't know what to do or what to say to the broken part of the mad genius.
He was troubled as he had all of his memories and knowledge which also came with the horrors that the Zee had faced.
Losing his mother at one, Losing his father at his own prime age of seventeen. Neither he was alive nor he was dead, he was just a man wanted to follow his dreams. To become something that people look up to. He was good at Robotics and Technology. His father's best friend helped him in getting to universities. Everything was good and fine but he knew he is not something special. Just a normal Joe.
But then he saw her. Ellia, His crush that he never spoken to. Love is blind but he is not. He know that he don't have anything that can help him to achieve her. Right?
He had something. Knowledge! He thought that he will tell her when he had accomplished enough. And he did. He won competitions at national and international level. He got scholarships that's how he made money. But he wanted to tell her fast enough so no other man may approach her first. But the reality is cruel. And Adam was seeing everything that he had been through. He was able to see Zee's birth and even feel the love and shamefulness that he suffered and kept with him till his death.
He was able to kill them at anytime and Burn away the history of Ash and his company, WillGood that he is so proud of. But what is death without suffering. He wanted to them to feel that he had been through.
Suffering and pain, He will give them something far more worse than death.
While Adam was processing the memories and feelings that Zee had been through, Zee the same holographic Personality was looking at him and he knew what was Adam seeing.
When the process was complete, Adam stumbled a little while tears and pain with the rage was present in his eyes. He looked at Zee and saw his standing there peacefully.
"Took you long enough my friend." said Zee while smiling a little with a real smile, a smile that he forgot he had. A smile that he never had for nearly twenty five years. The last original smile that he remember was when he won the international championship. The pride that he had at that time was everything he ever wanted.
"Yes... So are we both Zee Summra now?" replied Adam smilingly.
"You are the genius now so you tell me?"
"Maybe yes... I want your answer and we both know what I want. I have come to know now what are the requirements of the living AI so now you have to tell me the answer."
"Do you really want to know? You know it yourself as you are all me now except my personality."
"I know your answer but I want to hear it. Why?"
"The answer is you, Yourself. But if you are asking me then yes. You can have my power but it will be limited. My personality is torn. The me you are looking at is only thirty years old. I am stable because if my personality was a little more here I would have been dark. I know I became that villain that world would never want.
  But Being torn made my anger and hate divided. I may be a little good and nearly alive but it may also happen that some where in the internet I maybe be just a part, a little power or worse dead in someone or something.
The more part of my consciousness that you get may it be alive or dead you will get some power.
  But beware... Maybe my part of consciousness will be dark or deadly or pure like when I was a little child or teenager with full vigour.
I know I was dark, No a demon at that. If I would have been alive now, I would have destroyed the world because nothing would have able to stop me.
Now If I think Maybe Everything happens because of a reason."
Adam looked in the eyes of Zee and nodded to him. An notification rang just after Zee sayings.

It's been 2 days since that day. Aside of eating, sleeping and some daily routines, Arjun fully immersed in internet. He had been reading articles, stories, gossips, reviews, comments about Tollywood for 2 full days without taking a break.

Unlike most of the other countries, India in his previous world didn't had an official National Language. Although Hindi was considered as one, it was only popular in some states but not in all. There were 29 states in Previous India, with hundreds of different languages. But only 22 languages were official.

As for the India in this world, there weren't 29 states here but 10 regions apart from one independent capital city.

Similarly, the languages are also different.

Delhi City - Engish language is popular here

Kashmir Region : Kashmiri as it's official language, it's entertainment industry called Kashywood

Himalaya Region, Madhya Pradesh region: Ancient Sanskrit language, Himawood

Bihar Region, Uttar Pradesh region, Rajasthan Region : Hindi language, Bollywood

Tamil Nadu Region : Tamil language, Kollywood

Kerala Region : Malayam language, Mollywood

Telangana Region, Andhra Region : Telugu language, Tollywood.

This world's Indian regions were a lot randomized and simplified than Arjun's previous Earth's India. But the complexity, it still exist.

Except for the times when everyone unite to fight against foreign enemy, the innate rivalry among the regions is still there.

It was not just languages that are different, even traditions, food varieties, cultures, tastes are also different. One thing that is popular in one region might not be as popular in other regions.

The reason why Arjun was so hesitating is precisely because of this. 

For his first performance, should he re-create something that was World wide famous?

Or Nation wide famous?

Or Region wide famous?

As he was debating internally, Arjun suddenly a remember a story. A famous story called 'Gajendra Moksham' from the book 'Bhagavatham', one of the sacred books of Hinduism from his previous world.

( My translation ( it might not be that correct, just for reference anyway): Ganjendra Moksha - Liberation of Elephant King; Bhagavatham - The story of the Almighty one.)

Once upon a time, there was a king of Elephants, which was huge and very arrogant. Even when facing Lion, the king of forest, it never showed fear. It was always fearless and unbridled. 

One day, it rudely entered into a lake, which was originally a territory of a normal crocodile. It started bathing arrogantly, not at all caring about the small crocodile. Since it's size was only one tenth of Elephant's, the Elephant king completely disregarded it.

Being provoked it's dignity, the crocodile got angry. It bit the Elephant king's leg between it teeth and tightened it's grip, started dragging the Elephant king towards the depth of lake.

The arrogant Elephant king instantly became powerless. It had a strength which was multiple times higher than the small crocodile, but so what? It couldn't muster any of it in the water at all. For days and nights, it struggled desperately. Yet the Elephant king couldn't break free from Crocodile clutches at all.

That was until Great Vishnu, one of the 3 supreme Gods descended personally to save the Elephant king, who was his loyal worshipper. 

So no matter how powerful you are outside, you have bow your head to local dragons in their regions.


Arjun's eyes shined as he remembered the story. 

Indeed. No matter how famous, how great, how awesome an Oscar film might be, it could never be as popular as a local cinema in that place.

So in the end, Arjun decided to choose something that was very popular in Telangana state from his previous world. 

Thankfully, he confirmed that while this Telangana region is a lot randomized than his previous world Telangana State. The tastes of people, basic traditions and beliefs are still same. So Arjun doesn't need to worry if those from his previous world will work here are not.

After careful research and lot of internet surfing, Arjun finally a choose to perform a Comedy skit for the Fest.

There were multiple reasons for him to choose this.

First, his skill in talking is highest, at SR Grade. So he could make more impact on the crowd through Skit than through singing or dancing. 

Second, efficiency. Skits are a lot easier to practice. With only 1 week remaining for the Fest, Skits are far better option than others.

Infact, the first and seconds reason were just secondary, the most important reason is Arjun found this world's comedy skits lacking. They were just too lacking. 

During the last two days, he watched many skits online. Comparing them to those from his previous world, he couldn't help but feel they were bland.

Take the elephant and ant joke for example: Once an ant and elephant were going on a new scooter. They met with an accidant.The elephant was died but ant was alive. Why?

Because ant was wearing a helmet !

..... Lame, right?

This kind of jokes can make you smile but not make laugh your heart out. Those skits are also similar. They can make you smile but can not make you laugh loudly. 

The people of this world are truly pitiful.  They never experienced the true comedy skits. The kind of true comedy skit that doesn't had complex dialogues, the kind of ones that doesn't need one to put much thought into, the kind of simple one that can make you laugh you ass out.

Anyway now that he is here, he definitely had to show these people what true comedy is and he had the perfect idea about what to show.

Jabardasth!

The one of a kind comedy show that crowned as best among Telugu shows for more than 5 years. Among the over 1000 skits, the number of hit skits are not small.

Since the time he could perform on the stage is limited, he naturally can't perform all of those skits. So he could only choose best parts from some best skits and assemble them into one super skit.

Honestly Arjun kinda felt embarrassed for using without their creator's consent. 

But for the sake of rise of entertainment industry, for the sake Tollywood development, for the sake people's happiness, for the sake of him becoming a world famous- *Ahem for the sake of world peace, he could only grit his teeth and continue for the cause.

"...."

Anyway, after a few hours 'hard work', he finally made a satisfactory script for the skit.

"Now time to recruits the actors for skit."

Arjun thought about it for moment before calling his friend Sri Ram.

The other side quickly answered the call

"Hey dude, Pulihora mixing successful?"

Sri Ram's teasing voice echoed through the phone, making Arjun roll his eyes.

( Note: Pulihora is a south Indian rice speciality. The phrase 'pulihora mixing' is used when teasing someone who tried to flirt with a female.)

"Forget about that.. I got some work for you to do. Bring Pranav and a couple of others to my place. Be fast."

Arjun quickly hung up the phone, not wanting to hear any of the Sri Ram's nonsense.

Arjun picked up a strange mobile phone that only had 2 apps: YouTube, Google. The next day he woke up, he found himself in a parrallel world. Surprisingly, the phone also accompanied him to this world.

With the cheat-like phone and a handsome face, Arjun found himself the way to realise his dreams thus becomes an ultimate plagoriz- *ahem World Famous Super Star.

Monday morning turns out to be just as crazy as I'd dreaded. 

The day gets off to a bad start and goes downhill from there. I get a ride to school with Zee and Alix like usual, but Alix is quiet all the way there. Zee must have told him what happened with Fable, and if not, he would have seen the crowds mobbing my house on the news or online. 

But he doesn't say a thing about it. 

I expected him to at least tease me. It's not like him to miss a chance to mock Fable. 

He's silent the whole way to school, while Zee chatters away nervously about the weather, soccer tryouts, the traffic – anything but Fable. 

Maybe Alix is just upset that I missed our band practice. I hope that's all. 

When Zee and I arrive at our lockers a few minutes before first bell, I find the words "GROUPIE SLUT" scrawled over the front of my locker in black sharpie. Jamie's scrubbing furiously at it with what looks like eye makeup remover and a Kleenex. 

Her face drops when she sees me. 

She sighs heavily as she spots us. "I wanted to get this cleaned up before you got here. I guess you might as well see it for yourself. You've got some haters." 

"They're just jealous Ashling," Zee says. 

She squeezes my hand and searches my face with wide eyes and pursed lips, brows knitted together. I know this expression so well. 

Pity. 

So I put on my most convincing fake smile and swing open my locker like I don't have a care in the world. 

"I'm great," I lie. "Seriously, don't worry about me. I'm just glad all the craziness with Fable is over." 

The message on the front of my locker makes it pretty clear though that this is far from over. 

I've already filled my friends in on everything, but the rest of the school only knows what they've seen on the news, and whatever rumors are doing the rounds online. Who knows what they've heard, and what they're telling each other. 

A lot of girls at my school must hate me right now. 

Like whoever decided to decorate the front of my locker with sharpie.

We have fourth period free, so we go to a coffee shop five minutes walk from school. Technically it's against the rules to leave Huntson High's grounds during the school day, but we've been doing this since last year and no one's ever caught us. 

Even though the coffee doesn't have a thing on the Night Owl, proximity to school trumps quality. 

"Four slices of Apple Cinnamon cake, and four pumpkin spice lattes," Jamie tells the waiter. She insists on paying. 

"Pumpkin spice in June?" Grace says. 

"If there's a rule, I'll break it," Jamie says with a wink. 

To my surprise, the girls don't hassle me for details about the weekend. I told them everything over the phone – about meeting Felix, the limo ride, the angels attacking me, the panic attack in my bedroom – but it's never the same as hearing it in person. I thought they'd have a million questions, especially Jamie. 

But instead of quizzing me on every detail of my weekend from hell, Jamie fills me in on how their night went, and the dramas surrounding it. 

"Just count yourself lucky you didn't have to deal with Grace's mom on Friday," she tells me. "That woman is cray." 

"Ugh, I can't believe you just used the word cray," Grace says. "Not that I disagree with you though." 

"What happened?" I ask, already suspecting the answer. 

"Oh, it was typical," Jamie replies airily. "Just before the concert she told me I was wearing too much makeup. Then she said my dress was too short and tried to make me wear one of Grace's. They all go past the knee on Grace but on me they'll be mini dresses anyway. I'm like, double Grace's height. So she threatened to phone my mom and have her bring over ‘a more suitable’ outfit." 

"Did she?" I ask. "Call your mom, I mean." 

Jamie snorts. "She tried. No luck." 

"I wish my mom was more like your mom," Grace says, tucking a dark blonde ringlet behind her ear. 

Jamie just snorts. "No, you don't. At least your mom gives a shit." 

"Don't say that Jamie," Zee says softly. "Your mom does... give a shit." Her cheeks flush red at the curse word. Jamie has a mouth like a sailor, but Zee and Grace definitely don't fall into that category. It might actually be the first time I've ever heard Zee swear. 

"You think so?" Jamie says, stabbing at her cake with her fork. "She has a funny way of showing it. She left for Hawaii with her latest toy boy three days ago." 

This is a regular occurrence with Jamie's mom. 

Since she divorced Jamie's dad six months ago, she's been on this "hook up with as many guys as possible" vibe. Basically, she's a bona fide cougar. Every few weeks Jamie gets left with the AmEx and two irritable chihuahuas for company, while her mom takes some hot twenty-something guy on an all-expenses paid holiday. Jamie made us promise not to tell our parents. Although it's bound to come out eventually, especially with Grace's mom being the way she is. 

"Anyway, your mom is about to hate me a whole lot more," Jamie tells Grace as she scoops the cream off the top of her latte. "I'm going pink." 

"Pink?" We all ask. 

"My hair. I'm dying it pink. Electric Bubblegum Pink to be exact." Her eyes light up as she says it. 

"But why?" I ask. Jamie dying her hair is nothing new, but usually there's a reason – like when she did an ombré tutorial on her YouTube channel in spring, or when she went dark red for Valentine's Day last year. Pink is a little extreme, even for her. 

"I wanted to tell you all last week but I couldn't do it until all the paper work was sorted." She pauses dramatically and leans forward. "I got approached by... wait for it... NASTY GAL!" She shrieks the last bit out so loud that people at the tables around us turn their heads our way. 

"They're flying me to LA next month... I'm going to be the star of a blogger fashion shoot with Gianna Wild and Wendy Song! WENDY SONG! And we're going to guest edit the new season lookbook. I want to stand out so I'm doing something cool with my hair. Amazing, right?" 

It really is amazing, and we all tell her so, while she shows us the email correspondence between her and a PR lady on her phone. 

"I'm going be on their site, Instagram, everything!" Her voice rises to a squeak of excitement. "This is my big break girls. My YouTube channel is going to go insane after this. I am literally hashtag SoBlessed". 

"You're meant to do the hashtag sign with your fingers as you say it. Otherwise you just sound stupid." A familiar voice cuts into our conversation. 

Beth is flanked by her BFFs on either side of her. I was so focused on Jamie's news that I didn't notice them sidling up to our table. 

"What are you doing here?" Jamie snaps. 

"I could ask you the same thing. We're only here because we saw you leaving the school grounds earlier. You girls are such rebels." Bailey and Becca giggle behind their queen bee. 

"You followed us?" Grace asks. 

"Don't get all excited about it," Beth says, turning to me. "We just have a few questions for Ghost." 

"That's not my–" 

"Fine. Ashling. Whatever. All I want to know is what Felix Lockhart was really doing at your house. Tell us what's actually going on." 

"Why would she want to tell you that?" Jamie growls. "Just get lost Beth." 

"We're not leaving until we know," she replies. 

"It's private," I say. 

"If you wanted to keep your love life private, maybe you shouldn't have hooked up with one of the most famous guys on the planet," she says. "Not that I actually think anything like that went on between you two. Looks only count for so much. You're not just a loser, Ghost. You're mental, anyone can see it five miles off. There has to be some other reason he was at your house, and I want to know what it is." 

I'm too shocked to speak, but Jamie rises, and swipes her hand through the air at Beth. She's not fast enough – Beth easily dodges the slap and carries on unfazed. 

"So tell me what really happened. Everyone knows that Felix doesn't really like getting up close and personal with fans. He's Mr. I'm Too Good For Everybody so Don't Even Speak to Me." 

Beth speaking about something she doesn't understand makes me see red. 

"He has his reasons for that," I say. 

"Uh-huh. You still haven't answered my question. What was he really doing at your house?" 

"That's between Felix and me." 

"And his ten million other fans," she says as she slams her hand down on the table in front of me, sending my empty latte mug clattering before falling onto its side. 

I've had enough. 

I get up without another word. 

I don't look back, but I can hear that Jamie, Zee and Grace have risen too, walking out of the coffee shop behind me. 

Enough.

When we get back to school I expect more of the same, but luckily not everyone is like the Three Bs. 

All day, I have girls coming up to me to talk about what happened, most of them just curious after what they saw on the news. 

Everyone from freshmen to seniors, and even my pretty thirty-something biology teacher, who I had no idea was into Fable. 

Everyone keeps telling me I'm soooo lucky. And asking if Felix really is as stunning in real life as he is in photos (of course he is). And asking if he really is rude and abrasive in person, or if it's just an act (it isn't). And asking if anything “happened”. 

No one actually says what they suspect might have “happened”, so I don't give specifics. 

I just tell them I left some of my things in the VIP area, and Felix returned them in person. As he'd do for any fan. I tell them yes, it was awesome meeting him, and no, he hasn't called me, and yes, it's true I'll probably never see him again but I was grateful just to meet him and that's that. I couldn't ask for anything more. Nothing happened, and I'm moving on. 

The more I say it, the more I believe it. 

I'm moving on.

There were two major parts to the full VR gaming rig: the neuro-virtual headset and the bio-cradle.
Technically, the virtual world could be accessed just by the NV headset. To allow the user to connect to a virtual simulation, the NV headset induced a state of trance reportedly somewhere between a meditative state and a deep sleep state.
This trance was the reason why some Halfworld players have been able to log up to 50 hours nonstop on virtual platforms, at least until recorded health risks had virtual gaming companies forcing virtual users to institute hard limits on log-time within their systems. 
This was a compromise between companies and the government, intended to maintain the health of the user.  
The bio-cradle was designed to reduce the stress the use of the virtual system placed on the body, as using the headset without the bio-cradle for more than the allotted amount of time induced massive muscular disorientation when disconnecting plus muscle strain and stiffness. It was a fancy recliner-type chair, with the outer appearance curving like a snail shell. 
With the bio-cradle and headset together, the user was allowed 20 hours of virtual time before the system turned unresponsive for the remaining four hours of the day.
Without the bio-cradle, the virtual hours allowed to the user of just the headset fell to 12 hours total per day.
Eli had no plans to compete for the top player listings.
After living in war-ravaged land for years he had no wish to contribute to the wars. Redlands may be a game, but he had only played that game for a week before the NPCs became flesh and blood.
He was not averse to killing; it was needed to survive in Zushkenar, after all. But to cut down people just for quest rewards? He'd feel that he was nothing more than the bandits he so despised.
Even if the Redlands NPCs were code right now…
Unfortunately, he needed money.
And the most lucrative craft in Redlands at present was war.
The craftmasters of the previous iteration of the game were skilled and established, but the crafting and battle systems had not been integrated.
Yet.
There was some speculation in the future over the late craft upgrade, why it came ten months after the Masters of War expansion was introduced. Some thought the expansion was offered uncompleted because there was a problem with the integration but the company forced the release anyway. Others thought the expansion was released early because another popular game was planning an upgrade at the same time, and RSI wanted to cut them off. Still others thought the late update was to give the battlers a chance of a foothold in a world that crafters already dominated. 
There were other rumors but he'd only skimmed the forums.
He only remembered because when he joined the game in the last timeline, five months or so after the craft upgrade, the mood was still high that the craft classes and subclasses that used to be important only to role-players suddenly were so imperative.
But he couldn't choose crafting now, not full time. Even if in the future crafters would be as important as battlers, he needed greater battle skills to be able to protect himself in Zushkenar. 
The craft update would be in seven months.
That was too little time to level up a crafting class to where he would be able to profit from the advantage of that knowledge. Not to mention, the middle crafting levels were a moneysink.
Eli grimaced. 
The only high-level skills he had were leatherworking and forestry. A consequence of being forced into drudgery after transmigration.
He breathed deep the old rage at the thought of Findrakon, that damned guild that used their fellow transmigrators like tools until they broke.
He'd really been too trusting.
Well, if they were created in this timeline again, he'd been part of a successful slave rebellion once, hadn't he? His sharp smile grew wide enough to show teeth.
This time, he won't be so helpless.
"Who needed a guild or clan's protection anyway?" 
He could do this alone.
Eli didn't want to battle other people, didn't want those instincts ingrained into him, but he had no qualms about mass killing the fantasy beasts that roamed Zushkenar. 
None at all.
In Redlands, the beginner quests often started at monster hunting. Becoming part of an army or a war clan was more lucrative so few remained as monster hunters after leaving the starting villages.
 It would be difficult. 
There wasn't even a subclass titled 'monster hunter'.
He'd be mostly making it up as he went along.
Eli thought about it. 
Why not?
It sounded fun.
It would also take advantage of his forestry and leatherworking skills.
It sounded very fun.
He decided. "A monster hunter."
Let's do it.
In seven months, the war clans would create hunter-crafter subguilds to take advantage of the update.
Before then, he had to be established. He had to level both battle skills and craft skills to a usable level.
A challenge. 
Eli had no plans to compete for the top player listings, but he needed to be a high-level player when the Quake came. Realworld skillsets gave a player an edge in Redlands, and in-game skills were massive advantages in Zushkenar.
To increase all his player-class skills enough, twelve hours of playtime wasn't enough.
He needed a full rig.
He opened a tab for the RSI website.
He stared, then cursed. "Since when did people become so brazen, openly robbing others in broad daylight?"
Since RSI purchased Redlands, they also had released a few Redlands-themed NV headgear.
Redlands NV-headsets cost in the range of 5000 to 40,000 ecru. 
Five thousand ecru was enough to buy a studio apartment in one of the cheap areas of the city. VR gear had only become available in the last three decades and the prices showed that it was still a premium item.
But one of the major draws of Redlands was that it was easier to earn money for a new player than all the other virtual games in the world. A gamer in the top 100,000 rankings could earn thousands of ecru a year by just playing the game. It was comparable to the salary of the average office worker in a large company. And that is before the money that could be earned by taking advantage of the dedicated Redlands video portal.
It was the media portal that gained the attention of the world. RSI set up a dedicated site just for Redlands players and encouraged them to post their battles and their in-game exploration.
It was a great idea.
If Redlands players had posted their videos on Flashbang, the most popular video portal in the world, their efforts would have been lost among the thousands of other incredible videos on the site.
On RedVisor, the RSI media site, all the broadcasts showed off the truly extraordinary visuals of Redlands. And with the incredible fight scenes against that backdrop, which viewer couldn't be interested? With the viewcount on the media portal increasing exponentially with every day, businesses started circling like sharks smelling blood in water. 
Eli shook his head.
Redlands wasn't popular enough yet to gain sponsorships for the top elite players, but it was only a matter of time.
In a few more months, those headsets would be selling like hotcakes as more players started to profit from the game.
He paused when he saw the description box for one of the headsets - it would give an additional subclass slot. The Lazybones headset looked like it was geared to appeal to the old players of craft-heavy Redlands, many who boycotted or stopped playing when the first advertisements of the Masters of War expansion appeared.
Eli might have played Redlands for just a week, but even he knew that in the face of a game where battle was encouraged, the subclasses were mostly considered useless.
But not in Zushkenar.
All the transmigrated players had their skills transferred according to their levels and proficiency. The subclass levels of each player were enhanced by a magnitude, and those subclasses were the reason many of the low-level players didn't die within the first year.
Eli, as the player Scare, had only survived those first few confusing weeks in another world because of the automatic knowledge that his class skills gave him.
That meant, in this game, he needed to gain as many subclasses as he could.
The character creation page offered the player 3 subclass slots as primary, which was more than enough for most players. If a player wanted to actively level all subclasses, they'd be running around the place all day every day and wouldn't be able to keep up with leveling their battle class.
In Redlands, the most effective builds for gaining cash in the shortest amount of time had a near-singular focus on the battle classes.
Which was why the forum recommendations gave only two choices: be a battler or a crafter. Leveling both as a new player was stupid.
"Ahaha…." 
It looked like Eli was going to be stupid about this. 
Hunting monsters in Redlands wasn't that lucrative, really. Not before the update. Also, some monster materials didn't keep long. He needed to use them to craft something before they degraded.
There were reasons Eli didn't want to accustom himself to killing people. When the players transmigrated, many continued the path they knew. That is, leveling and battling. It was unknown how many transmigrators died because they continued the inter-faction wars after the Quake.
When Scare died in Zushkenar, the common consensus was that only two thirds of the transmigrators were still alive. That was only because many of the elite players sued for peace about a year after the transmigration, nearly simultaneously from every land in Zushkenar, confusing the locals greatly.
Every race and nation in Zushkenar had Earth players in it, and with that intangible bond between them managed to calm a good deal of the bloodlust between warring factions. 
Then there was Findrakon, which exploited the low-level players and the former NPCs, but the bastard at the head of the group was an immortal cockroach that knew how to lay low and keep away from the major conflicts. It was the reason the exploitative guild hadn't been decimated by the faction wars and the fact that players could no longer be resurrected.
If he was a full battler and met those beasts….ah, he didn't have the time to fight against an entire guild.
Not when the Quake was a year away. A year and four months.
Eli thumped his fist on the counter rhythmically, eyes far in the distance, shaking the memories away.
It was a moment before his attention returned to the Redlands netsite.
The thought of joining a player guildclan caused something to twist in his gut.
No. He didn't have to think about it.
Being a monster hunter, until the craft update there'll be no one willing to party with him anyway.
He tapped the image of the Lazybones headset, opening a greater description and comments.

The comments degenerated after that, and Eli didn't want to pick out the data from the name-calling. He closed the tab and checked the prices for bio-support recliners, also called bio-cradles. The cheapest that wasn't an older model was a cool 11,500 ecru. 
Whoa. Maybe he could get one secondhand?
The Lazybones headset cost 6999. A quick calculation, rounded up for unforeseen problems, and he whistled at the price.
Even at his old company job, it'd take him three years max to save that much.
Where to get 20,000 ecru in a hurry?
His phone pinged.
Eli glanced at the display. It was the coupon code for a Redlands discount from Zee.
He quickly sent his thanks.
The expiration date of the coupon was tomorrow. Tsk.
He tapped into his financials. Why did he keep so many accounts after he'd been fired? 
Oh. Right.
The Eli of nine years ago had been confident that he'd have a regular job sooner or later that he hadn't been that frugal. Eli closed the extraneous accounts, transferring the contents to a single bank.
He spent a few minutes filling in a form, and all his money was converted to ecru.
1721 ecru.
Hm. Disappointing. "It's lower than I thought it would be."
Then he remembered that he'd prepared pretty extensively for the HI interview, even buying a brand new business suit. Tapping to the account history, he nearly choked when he saw the suit and various accessories was 600 ecru. He'd forgotten about that extravagance. That was ten times his monthly food costs, wasn't it?!
600 ecru was 60,000 golden drax in Redlands. That could buy some of the best NPC-made armor in the game shops. 
He flopped over the counter, groaning in regret, then flicked the offending page closed with a finger, and covered his eyes in despair.
He'd really thought he had a chance with Hareon Interplanetary, didn't he.
Haha. This was the kind of embarrassment you should feel when finding yourself in your teens. Not your mid-twenties. What a fresh and uncomfortable experience. Negative review, would not recommend.
He stood abruptly, went to the fridge. He twitched when he realized the shelves were bulgingly full of cans – cola, cold coffee, energy drinks, milk drinks. Now he knew why Zee had given him a weird look yesterday when he opened the thing.
He noted that all the cans had the 'extra-sweetened' label somewhere. What the hell, old me? Was there a sale at the supermart?
The thought of drinking something 'extra-sweet' made him think of Zushkenari addictive drugs that were given to the war slaves.
"Why did no one stop me?" he muttered at the wall of drinks he probably wouldn't be able to drink now.
He held his phone up to one can, and the data on the product was automatically presented. "Apparently they're limited edition. Can't be ordered online."
Eli stared at the can in his hand.
"Limited edition…"
There was only one response to that, for a poor person like him: online auction.
He counted the cans, took pictures, and posted the data on the local shopping site. He cleaned up, and wandered about the house.
Thirty minutes later, he had more stuff posted on the shopping site, and a ping told him that the drinks had been bought at what he thought was the super-high asking price.
He checked again. It was bought and the funds already in escrow.
Huh. Maybe he should've gone higher. 
He went to find packing material.
An hour later, he had an additional 180 ecru in his account.
That was really fast.
It wasn't even mid-morning yet.
He laughed. He'd gotten used to deliveries that could take days or weeks in Zushkenar that this speed was almost godly. 
Good humor restored, he paged to the Redlands site to register.
He bought a year's premium subscription and got one month free. With the coupon code and an unexpected new account bonus promo, he had a total of 35% off the purchase price.
Excellent.
He now had an account but no way to play the game.
Mm. How depressing.
He rolled about on the couch and frowned at the screen showing the RSI Redlands NV headsets.
An advertisement popped up.
He growled at it, then paused. It was an advertisement for a GatesTech MarkIX version NV-gear.
GatesTech was the company that pioneered the virtual gaming rig, and their dominance of the market continued for decades. They were coming out with a MarkIX version of their incredibly popular NV headset series around this time.
"The MarkIX…"
He remembered it because Zee was an avid virtual gamer and he'd nearly talked Eli's ears off the last time around.
They had a fight in the last timeline, after Zee was accepted into HI and Eli wasn't. He'd accused Zee of deliberately sabotaging his interview preparation, always talking about VR games and GatesTech and whatever popular gear he was always muttering about nonstop.
Shame suffused Eli's being. 
He was formerly someone who placed the blame for his failures on other people. Even if other people had some blame, Zee was particularly unsuited to be a villain. The idiot was the kind of person people saw as a hero.
Zee had saved up every cent and euro he could doing backbreaking work just to finish an online degree and pay for his sisters' educations. VR tech and VRMMO games were his only vice and obsession. He and a few of his techhead friends even jury-rigged an obsolete bio-cradle and NV headset the same year Eli and his mother moved into the building.
The HI interview was the result of the other man's hard work.
Zee had been successful the last time around, and when he moved his sisters out of the building about ten months from now, he knocked on the apartment and asked Eli to help him with an upgrade to his GatesTech MarkVIII headset because his hand was hurt. Eli had been lonely enough to agree, despite the dubiously bandaged hand Zee had been waving around, and the fact that they barely spoke to each other anymore.
Actually, in the GatesTech MarkV to MarkVIII, the premium and regular versions had similar software, only the outer shells and the hardware were markedly different. 
He sat up, an idea in his head.
Zee had bragged that his personally upgraded MarkVIII had a nearly similar performance to the MarkIX, and even outperformed the MarkVIII premium version. 
Eli didn't know about that. But the upgrade had been remarkably simple.
Everything else was gravy.
He smiled.
He searched the forums. MarkVIII headset chip upgrade.
There was nothing. 
He laughed, triumphant. There was a path forward.
He owed Zee a few great dinners for this.
"Call, Jori Rigaton."
His phone acknowledged.
Joven 'Jori' Rigaton was Zee's other best friend. He was the kind of guy who knew a guy that was relatives with a guy who had what you wanted.
The call was picked up.
"Eli? ...this is Eli, right?"
Ah, right. They had each other's number, but never called each other before. "Can you help me with something?"
"Eh, what's up?"
"I need to rent a space for a month. Semi-large, enough for several long tables and a couple of machines. Soundproofed, if possible."
"…basement alright?"
"Yes. If the ventilation's fine."
"Sure. Just for you, 800 cash."
"You know I said borrow, right?"
"Yep."
Eli snorted. "That's about a hundred ecru, isn't it? Alright."
There was a surprised silence.
"What?"
"Something really is wrong with you. When Zee called, I thought he was exaggerating. You haggle prices with everything and everyone. What gives?"
Eli ignored the last question. "Zee called you?"
"Wanted me to stop by your place, said you were sick. You didn't open the door. Don't you live in the same building? Why bother me with going to a building you both live in?"
"I got better, a bit."
"Yeah," he drew the sound out.
"Will it be available today?"
There was an impression of surprise and a shrug over the call. "Sure. Nothing exciting happening today anyway. I am," came the suddenly sarcastic tone, "entirely at your service, lord and master."
Eli smiled. "Great."
There were things to be done.

He was weak, he was depressed, he was a loser.
He wasn't even Lvl 10 in the game when Earth was destroyed in the Quake and the players of Redlands were transmigrated to the fantastic world of Zushkenar.
But he lived, learned, and died again.
Now, he was back on Earth, one year and three months before the Quake.
Deciding to rejoin the game earlier and with greater focus, what changes would he bring with his actions?

What after school isn't in my hands

After successfully killing my first dream, my parents gave me an opportunity to choose a group for 11th class.
You know having typical Indian parents we have only two groups to choose, one in maths or in science. Because you have to be either an engineer or a doctor. else you are not successful according to your living society.

Ummm, the first day to college and I'm soo nervously entered the classroom and as usual, you know. People fight for the first bench in school and for the last bench after school. That's how the life of everyone evolves. Probably I was the hapless person on that day and I have no option except to be seated on the first bench. And that was the first time I really felt Of having an online booking for benches too. so that I could get a seat on the last bench. During the complete course. Fifty minutes passed and our class got rid of that tall fat maths lecturer who looks like a white coloured hulk and whatever he's explaining is very arduous to understand to my little brain. It's time for another class now it's English as per time table, I love English and Telugu classes because we never find any formulae or any stupid theories which I have to fix in the mind.

Now Finally, I got something I like in this college after losing my wants.
