[A group of homeless wizards cleaning all the Dalaran debris with arcane magic. A little girl searching any lost artifact. Suddenly she found a sword made in the Radiant Ore without it's parts. She found part from the Sword made from the Dire Stone. As she picks it up as she turns, suddenly she saw the sword disappeared]

Little Girl: Huh?

[Spectre appears out of nowhere scaring the little girl]

Mercurial: (shows her the sword) Looking for this? 

Helcurt: (blinks in front of the girl) Tremble!

[The Little girl screams and runs. The other wizards sees the little girl being chase by Helcurt and Spectre. The Wizards slows them down by casting arcane missiles. Pitch Black appears and blocks the arcane missiles]

Pitch Black: Those magic of yours are no match.

[Noob Saibot appears behind them and puts them on a brutal killing spree]

Pitch: So this is Dalaran? A place where the wizards live. How come this place was destroyed. (looks at Spectre) What did you found?

Mercurial: I only found a Demon Edge. 

Pitch: A Demon Edge? Interesting. (looks at Noob Saibot) And you?

Noob Saibot: (Shows him Shinnok's Amulet) This will bring you eternal power

Pitch: Sword and the Amulet. Now, Jack Frost's death plunged this timid world... into such terror. 

[Pitch black hands over the Demon Edge from Spectre and Shinnok's Amulet from Noob Saibot as he uses his power to combine it and turn it into a Dark Crystal filled with souls and Summons an Army of dark minions]

Pitch: The Guardians stands, and falls, alone. I've waited too long for the Unity. I know. But you will all feed. And my exile will come to an end. I will take my place among the Guardians. Go forth Black Relic. Our new power will cleanse this world. Fear will be remain.

Rylai: We spoke. He'll be awhile. So this is us?

Rylai: Not everything. 

[Crystal Maiden shows her the Scarlet Phantom from Sub-Zero]

Sub-Zero: What is this? 

Rylai: Some say it's a Scarlet Phantom. Auroth was attacked inside Mt. Gorod. She told me that this blade is not part of her artifacts, the Not-books. She only found this blade when some unknown creature named Helcurt attacked her. This is why Pitch tries to bring nightmare from the children of icewrack. Helcurt and Spectre allied with him. 

Lich King: (about the Scarlet Phantom) Interesting. Maybe this blade would be useful to the other death knights. 

Sub-Zero: Then let's move. 

— Sydney Harbor Australia —

[Mei, Winston and Soldier 76 are waiting for Sub-Zero, The Lich King and Crystal Maiden to arrive]

Winston: How many of you are there?

Sub-Zero: Not enough. 

Soldier 76: Eight people abducted from world to world. Even here. Here's the potential perp.

Lich King: Malthael. 

Winston: Okay... 

Sub-Zero: Bi-Han must have caught the scent. It seems they're looking for innocent people to take their souls.

Winston: Souls? (gulps and gets nervous) That is really off of our chart. There are 8 innocent people. How would they rip souls? 

Toshiro (arriving) 10. Watashi no shini ga mi mo tora remashita (10. One of my Shinigamis were taken as well.)

Rylai: You made it.

Sub-Zero: So then. There must be a nest nearby.

Soldier 76: We plotted all the sightings in Junkertown and the Black Dragon Warehouse Facility.

Winston: (wondering) Do you really think they can stop this? 

Mei: Don't worry, Winston, they'll take care of it, right guys? 

[Mei turns and they saw Sub-Zero and the Lich King and Toshiro gone. Crystal Maiden remains behind]

Rylai: Wow. They just... They really just vanished. That's rude. (uses blink dagger to blink) 

— Black Dragon Warehouse Facility —

[Sub-Zero, Crystal Maiden, Toshiro and The Lich King enters the Warehouse]

Rylai: This is the Place?

Sub-Zero: Yes. The Black Dragon Facility.

[They hides themselves from Pitch's minions]

Rylai: How did they get in here? 

Sub-Zero: I don't know. This facility was abandoned a years ago during Sonya Blade killed Kano and his counter part.

[The entrance is guarded by Pitch's minions]

Toshiro: Dono yō ni shite jigoku o oikosu koto ga dekimasu ka? (How the hell can we pass these mongrels?) 

Sub-Zero: Wait here. I will deal with those mongrels.

[Sub-Zero sneaks inside and assassinates all of Pitch's minions guarding inside the warehouse. While Sub-Zero continues his pursuit, The Lich King, Crystal Maiden and Toshiro starts to enter the warehouse. Suddenly, Sub-Zero finishes his pursuit and regroup to the others]

Rylai: That was fast.

Sub-Zero: The Lin Kuei assassinates their enemies faster. But we are not ninjas. (stops) Wait.

[Sub-Zero sees Pitch Black and Noob Saibot torturing souls as Mathael claims it. Helcurt grabs another innocent person and brings him to Pitch]

Pitch: What do you know about Jack Frost? 

Victim No.1: I don't know nothing about him! I swear I'm too old to know him! 

Pitch: Just tell me the truth.

Victim No.1: Please, just let us go. I have a family! 

Pitch: Wrong answer. 

[Nocturne stabs the innocent person and Malthael claims another soul to earn]

Pitch: Humans... The stench of your fear is making my soldiers hungry. Shall I feed them?

Victim No.2: Please. We have families.

Pitch: I've already heard that from then and now

[Inaudible. Back to Sub-Zero and the others]

Rylai: What now? 

Sub-Zero: Does any of you know how to infiltrate? 

Toshiro: Shintō suru hōhō o shitte imasu. Shikashi, kore wa anata to issho ni kono basho ni sen'nyū suru no wa hajimetedesu. (I know how to infiltrate. But this is my first time infiltrating this place with you.)

Lich King: The Lich King doesn't infiltrate. I'll do what have to do. 

Sub-Zero: Have it your way. 

Rylai: I'm no thief. I never infiltrate anything. Especially from Auroth's cave. 

Sub-Zero: Save one.

Rylai: One?

Sub-Zero: Save one person.

Rylai: Wait, which one? 

Sub-Zero: Freeze them. Shatter them. Get in. Get one out. 

Rylai: Okay.

[Back to Pitch Black and the others]

Pitch: I know you all have children. After I'm done with you all your children will know the meaning of fear. 

[The Lich King summons an undead army to attack Pitch and the others]

Pitch: So. You were born in fear. A creature of nightmare.

Lich King: Not how I see it. But I'll show you the true meaning of fear. 

Pitch: Give it time.

[Toshiro attacks one of Pitch's minions]

Pitch: Nocturne.

[Nocturne attempts to attack Toshiro. But he took his attention to the Lich King]

Lich King: This one is mine!

[Crystal Maiden taking a deep breath]

Rylai: Okay... Save one. Freeze the enemies.

[Crystal Maiden saves innocent people one by one after freezing one of Pitch's minions]

Rylai: Go. Get out of here. 

[Suddenly Spectre and Malthael confronts Crystal Maiden]

Mercurial: Rylai. I knew you'd come.

Rylai: You overestimate yourself.

Mathael: Child... My blades are still slick with the souls of your people.

[Crystal Maiden fights Spectre and Malthael. Meanwhile The Lich King Fights Helcurt and Nocturne. All of the sudden Sub-Zero reunites with his brother Noob Saibot]

Sub-Zero: So you allied with Pitch to gain new power?

Noob Saibot: Indeed. With Kronika's death I would made my own purpose to darken all the realms.

Sub-Zero: I shall not live in your shadows.

Noob Saibot: Then die in it, brother.

Sub-Zero: It will not survive the cold.

[Sub-Zero fights Noob Saibot again; Sub-Zero wins again]

Sub-Zero: The Netherrealm can have you.

Noob Saibot: It also has your friend, Smoke.

Sub-Zero: Do not speak of my friends.

[Sub-Zero tackles Noob Saibot through the wall as they falls down to the underground. Meanwhile Lich King still fighting Helcurt and Nocturne]

Helcurt: I am death incarnate! 

[Helcurt blinks everywhere and any multiple attack to the Lich King by blinking everywhere. Suddenly He grabs Helcurt in the air and throwing him to the ground, with his hand around his neck]

Lich King: Insect!

[The Lich King attempts to stab Helcurt. But suddenly Nocturne points his right blade to stop him from killing Helcurt]

Nocturne: Ancient was our kind when this world began.

Lich King: I'm afraid my condition has left me cold to your pleas of mercy.

[Nocturne grabs the Lich King and throws him to the underground]

Rylai: Sub-Zero, Arthas. 

[Mei arrives with backup]

Mei: Hi. 

Sub-Zero: I knew you arrived in time, Mei.

[Pitch and his allies confronts Sub-Zero and his allies and turns his attention to Crystal Maiden]

Pitch: So... You have the blood of the Snow Queen in you. Such power.

[Crystal Maiden cast crystal nova to splash Pitch and his allies. Nocturne blocks it and cast paranoia on Crystal Maiden]

Mei: Look out.

[Mei pushes Crystal Maiden away from Nocturne's paranoia suddenly her right arm sliced and wounded]

Rylai: Mei! 

[Malthael attempts to grab Mei. She attempts to freeze him with her endothermic blaster. Malthael blocks the blast then grabs Mei]

Toshiro: Īe, shimasen! (No you don't!) 

[Toshiro releases his Zanpakuto to save Mei from Malthael]

Mei: Xièxiè. (Thank you.) 

[Sub-Zero found one of Kano's weapon and fires them against Pitch and his allies. Suddenly Malthael slice the first missiles them Nocturne grabs the other]

Pitch: Primitive beings. For 300 years technology still means nothing to me.

[Nocturne drops the missile at the left side of the wall and explodes then they vanished]

Mei: What are we under right now?

Sub-Zero: Black Dragon Harbor. 

[After the vanish and explosion, the underground floods]

Rylai: We have to move. 

Sub-Zero: Go. I will deal with this. 

[Crystal Maiden and the others escapes, Sub-Zero decided to stay to block the flood. Suddenly Elsa arrived with Nokk, the Water Spirit. Together they block the flood. Then Sub-Zero stops including Elsa]

Sub-Zero: The flood will not hold on much longer. We have to move.

[Sub-Zero jumps higher to escape as Elsa is being lifted by Gale, the Wind Spirit. She made her escape. But Sub-Zero jumps then Elsa grabs his hand. He sees the ice wall destroyed by the flood. Then they escaped the Black Dragon Warehouse]

Sub-Zero: Is everyone alright?

[Crystal Maiden and the others sees Elsa arrived in her new dress]

Sub-Zero: Elsa, why are you here? 

Elsa: I heard that Pitch Black has come for revenge with new allies 

Rylai: He is. 

Sub-Zero: That is why we're tracking them.

Mei: Wow. You look beautiful. What happened to you?

Elsa: Well. I found who I am. Maybe I could find out who you people are.

Sub-Zero: We have no time for discoveries 

[Sub-Zero walks out but Elsa stops him]

Elsa: You can't beat Pitch Black, Sub-Zero. 

Sub-Zero: Pitch is not my priority to settle the score. We're only tracking Pitch because my brother would do something worse after he allied with Kronika. 

Elsa: You said it yourself. Not enough. There's still time. Please, come with me to the Enchanted forest. I wanna know who you truly are, Kuai Liang. 

[Sub-Zero, Crystal Maiden, Toshiro and the Lich King hears the secret siren including Elsa]

Sub-Zero: Take us to that voice.

The legions of the Lich King began to spread over the continent. 

Many small territories have been captured by the Legions of Darkness. Apart from the five major kingdoms, everything was under them. 

It meant that all the gods selected by the guilds who weren't part of the plan were occupied by the Legions of Darkness. 

However, human users weren't fazed by it. 

There were valid reasons as to why. 

First, their manors being captured by the Legions of Darkness didn't mean that they would lose their manors permanently. Because if those manors did fall in the hands of the Lich King, it would just go back to them once the Lich King returns.

Second, they could hunt endlessly and accumulate contributions. 

The users might even get two or three legendary items in the process. 

If the new episode gave users something to worry about, there would surely be a part in the episode that users would take advantage of.


"Won't we have to fight a year long with the Lich King?"

"I don't know. Now that you say it, we probably will."

"Ahh… no way that's going to happen. We would definitely get lots of levels. I think this episode will be done for in 6 months, don't you think…?"

The post where the video was uploaded had thousands of comments. 

That wouldn't have happened if it was Ian or Shakran or any other rankers in the top ten that fought against the Lich King.

LB announced a new event. 

This event had enough content to attract the attention of a lot of users.

The new episode 'Richie King's Legions of Darkness', which started on the second half of the year, is getting much more interesting. 

There are so many heroes who are struggling to fight against Chalian, and in the process, it brings forth many new stories.

We will broadcast all the stories on the 'Kailan Special'. 

This Tuesday, October 17th, the coming week.

We will monitor all the battles and quests that have been taking place till then, and our team will edit a video and release a montage of Kailan's plays and quests.

An intense blizzard came that made them unable to see anything.

A blizzard with tremendous power which reminded them of the 'Blizard' magic of the Ice Wizard.

Ian was struggling as he couldn't set the resistance properly. 

"Oh…!! I thought I was dead for sure. Why would a field be designed to be so cold?"

Levya—who could sympathize with Hoonie's grumbling—nodded. 

"I feel the same too. However, we're here already, and we need to get through this."

Ian nodded his head and agreed with them.

"Phew, if we knew that we would have to go through this, then we could've set our settings well."

"Ahe, then Ian, wouldn't it be tough to break through the Legions of Darkness if we didn't set our settings against dark attributes?."

"That... is true."

Hoonie mumbled while stretching out his hands,

"We should have brought along Remir noona with us.

"Yeah, we should have. Why didn't I think of that? It would have been easier to move with her warmth."

Ian and Hoonie were talking about a ranked wizard as if she was a room heater.

However, it was true that they truly wanted Remir to join them. 

"Can't we bring her in now?"

"You have those Dimensional Beads. Can't you use them?"

Hoonie and Ian had a serious expression, which was why it was tough to make out whether they were joking or if they were serious.

Hoonie was really flustered when he heard that.

The three of them kept walking on the snowy mountain while talking about silly stuff.

They managed to fly to Curpiah with Ian's help. However, walking to the Prilania canyon was like walking in a complicated terrain using their hands. 

After an hour or so, the temperature was starting to warm up. The three were able to see the entrance of the Prilania canyon. 

Below the cliffs, and the high peaks, the magnificent Prilania canyon could be seen hidden by the clouds.

Hoonie who saw the magnificent view was amazed by it. 

"Keu, I want to take a shot of it in my smartphone."

"Stupid, just take a screenshot."

"Ah, right…"

"Maybe the cold is getting to your brain?

"Boo bo bo."

Hoonie was speaking a lot of nonsense today. 

Ian walked down carefully towards the canyon. 

Although it wasn't entirely explored, the Prilania canyon had very little information about the community. 

When Ian stepped on the entrance, system messages came out in front of him and his party members.

Before Ian could even hear the answer to his question, a new system message appeared in front of him. 

This time Ian's party was shocked by what they saw.

The world’s largest scale virtual reality game, ‘Kailan’.

A well-known gamer in the virtual reality game community, Ian.

He reset his lv 93 character to obtain a hidden class… but the class he chose was the most useless class in Kailan, the summoner? On top of that, a call from his professor leads to a mental breakdown! To avoid academic probation, he must level up to the same level as his reset character in two months!

Morning came slowly for Jack and his small party. They stayed at a simple inn to avoid any unwanted attention. As the sun rose, they were already on the streets searching for a caravan to join.
It wasn't hard to find a merchant willing to give them passage for a fee. Considering that Keela was pretending to be gravely ill to cover her face, it was quite a sum that they had to pay, but it was part of the plan.
The merchant offered to lower it if Rydel took a role as a guard, but he was too worried about his sick daughter to handle guard duty.
All three were cooped up in a covered wagon together with bundles of merchandise. In an hour, they would have crossed the Zuran-Reinolt border and be able to fly the rest of the way.
With their change of plans, they were cutting it very close to their deadline.
Sadly, other than by Rydel's roc, there was no other way for people from Reinolt City to reach the border, if not, then Zariff and Maynard would have rushed there overnight. Instead, the three of them would have to hope for the best.
Jack had started to wonder what else might go wrong. If he could prevent such issues from happening, then he'd be able to change his fate and Slivia's.
"Jack, calm down already. If we make it, then we'll make it. If not, you said you were already aware of our chance of failure," stated Rydel in a hushed tone. They made sure to speak quietly while in the caravan.
Not satisfied with his chances, Jack ignored Rydel and kept trying to think of possible ways to speed up the journey.
"Umm, are you okay, Jack?" asked Keela. It was easy for her to sense that Jack didn't have the calm and confident attitude he showed in the catacomb.
"I'm fine, I just wish that we could go faster." Not wanting to talk, Jack leaned back and closed his eyes.
Rydel and Keela both started to worry about him, but they couldn't do anything. So, in the meantime, Keela and Rydel talked about everything that was happening in the Reinolt Kingdom.
Also, Rydel started to explain what the Adventurers Association was and what it stood for. Since Keela was raised in the Zuran Empire, she had only heard about the Adventurers Association from passing stories. Now that she would be officially joining Jack's party, it was important for her to become an association member and learn about her future role in the team.
Keela was lv. 27, but Jack was able to overpower because she was a pure cleric and could only cast healing spells. Of course, she was extremely talented at those and was a perfect fit in their party dynamic.
'Jack, calm down.' Bowzer popped out of Jack's cloak and started rubbing his soft fur all over Jack.
'I'm fine Bowzer, why don't you play with Keela. She still has to get used to you, okay?'
The fox pup frowned but he nodded. 'Okay.'
As Bowzer crawled into Keela's arms and let her pet his fur, Jack was trying to find ways to distract himself.
Then he remembered about all the loot from Ponlinne's tomb. Not wanting to whip out valuable items in such a place, he went to his skill list first and purchased Eagle Eye. It was too good a skill to pass up.
Then he went to his achievement list and claimed his latest reward.
[When everyone knows your name, but not your face: claimed]
[Because well-known in a country using your real name but not your face. Reward: 20 skill points.]
After buying Eagle Eye, Jack was left with thirty-five skill points, which he decided to save for a rainy day.
Next, Jack inspected Ponlinne's activity log. Since he had more time to kill than he wanted, he figured that he might as well use it.
First, Jack confirmed that Ponlinne had managed to reach lv. 87. It was true! Jack had no clue how considering the level cap in "A Hero's Tale," but it had happened.
Second, Jack started inspecting the activity log for everything involving the catacomb. Like he had guessed, it was the same ancient crypt that Jack had visited in-game. However, according to Ponlinne, it had changed.
The crypt that Jack knew was for low-level grinding where the lower you went, the stronger the undead. It ranged from lv. 15 to lv. 35.
Ponlinne, in some diary entries, mentioned that the crypt had started to change after the Holy War ended. It had started to spawn monsters of all levels, but only in accordance with whoever was inside the crypt.
He had sent a party of lv. 20's inside and they returned after facing creatures as strong as lv. 29. Yet, whenever Ponlinne entered, he had to face lv. 80's and had once seen a lv. 88 creature before he ran away.
Jack had guessed that Ponlinne stayed near that crypt to try and grind to level up. If there was a new patch or expansion that raised the level cap, then that would explain why Ponlinne made his home there. Where else would a cleric be able to solo grind other than facing strong undead creatures?
Checking information about his death, Jack discovered that Ponlinne had died against a lv. 89 lich king. Though Ponlinne was a powerful wielder of holy magic, the lich king was too much and caused his death.
Ponlinne had even tried to run away from the battle, but the lich king made it impossible. The moment the lich king had caught him in its sights, it chased Ponlinne until he was dead.
"That's one way to go. At least he was still only a player at the time." 
Jack started to think about what he would've done if he were stuck in a place like that. It wouldn't be easy, but Jack thought he would at least enjoy the thrill while he could.
Also, Jack wondered what had caused the crypt to change. Ponlinne had tried to investigate, but he wasn't successful. He did, however, discover some rather interesting information about the crypt.
Depending on who was inside the crypt, the layout would change. The higher someone's level was, the deeper the crypt went. According to Ponlinne, the lich king was the final monster at the very bottom of the crypt. Behind the lich king's tomb, there were closed doors. Had Ponlinne succeded, he thought those doors would open to reveal the real secrets of the crypt. Sadly, he failed against the final monster, even with his holy magic being super effective against undead.
Just then, a distant shout rang out. "Halt!"
The wagon came to a gradual stop and the sounds of horses trotting also stopped. Against Jack's wishes, the entire caravan had stopped.
Unhappy with the sudden development, Jack grunted and exited the wagon in search of the merchant.
"Excuse me, but what's going on?" asked Jack.
The merchant shrugged, "Nothing, the border patrol is just backed up. Apparently they're being extra cautious today, something about a noblewoman being kidnapped by a middle-aged man on a bird. Seriously, these stories just keep getting weirder and weirder.
"Tell me about it," sighed Jack. "Any idea how long it'll be?"
"There's a huge pile-up, so we'll probably be adding at least another half a day to our trip, maybe even a full day. I'm sorry for the inconvenience."
Squinting at the many wagons ahead of them in line, Jack shrugged his shoulders and hid his anger. "I guess that's just the way it is. Hopefully, this will blow over quickly. Thank you."
He walked back to the wagon and informed Rydel and Keela of the news.
"Wow, this makes things more difficult. We should be fine, but it'll definitely take longer." Suddenly, Rydel looked more concerned. "Jack, you know what this means, right?"
Jack didn't respond, but both Rydel and Jack could see the pain in his eyes.
"Everything's going to be okay, Jack, really. It's just going to take some more time, that's all." Keela did her best to try and comfort Jack. Little did she know, she made it worse.
Seeing Jack like that, Rydel added, "Hey Jack, don't try anything funny, no matter what! If we're caught, they have plenty of people over lv. 30. Even with your fox, there's no guarantee that we could escape through a fight. And don't try and blame her either, This would've happened either way, and you know that deep down."
Not wanting to accept reality, Jack's eyes started to water. With all his heart, he wanted so much to dash out and force his way into Reinolt, but Rydel was right. 
There was no chance of them breaking through the border with only those him, Rydel, and Bowzer attacking. Plus, they would have to protect Keela, which would be next to impossible. 
The Zuran Empire was an ancient empire that had survived for a long time. Though the Zuran Empire was being held off thanks to a powerful expert in Reinolt, the empire's overall strength was head and shoulders higher above Reinolt's. All the guard captains were at least lv. 30 and they could never guess how many lv. 30's they would have to face to breach the border.
Against all of Jack's hopes, wishes, and plans, he was forced to quietly wait in a wagon for his chance to peacefully cross the border, effectively failing to save Slivia.

And as the days passed into weeks he discovered the ancient ruins of Ajol'Nerub, an intricate and fascinating ancient city created by some kind of long lost race, and witnessed the full glory of the Caller's armies, the undead beings so perfectly reanimated patrolling the ruins of the city and land with utter efficiency.

The day finally arrived, after what seemed like an eternity of ice and inky dark skies, that he arrived upon the spot that the power had culled him too. A great spire of ice, arising out of the glacial desolate that was the land. And upon the spire shot forth a brilliant blue light of unparalleled magic that reflected something of what was inside.

As he approached, the great voice called out to him again and proclaimed itself to him. It displayed its power through magic and through might. Through both the beasts of the north whom he had enslaved with his mind and how he directed them to battle as his armies.

The Lich King…that was the name of his new master. The Lich King told him of his plans, to spread the great wave of blackness across the world. Kel'thuzad's heart yearned for a position in the new order that this great Lich King told him, and for the power already shown and promised to him.

And so it was he was charged with the task of paving the way for the grand ascension of his Lich King; he was to gather a group of servants, loyal only to the Lich King.

And so Kel'thuzad returned to the lands of Lordaeron and spread across the land the gospel of the Lich King. Forming this religion of the damned as he was commanded by the Lich King, Kel'thuzad came here to Caer Darrow to prepare for this war, the coming of his Lord. It was the Cult of the Damned that would first pave the path for the undead forces which would soon advance over this land.

Kel'thuzad sported sunken eyes, not from hunger or malnutrition, but from the feedback of his newfound power. His weathered, lined face was sported with a great white beard, and he was garbed in the black robes of the Bishop of the Cult.

Caer Darrow…a place of supreme magic; a battle site of the old Second War against the orcish Horde, once home to the brusque and enigmatic High Elves of Quel'thalas. It was from here that he would base himself, and from here that the Cult of the Damned would spread to more and more of the northern provinces of this land, as it was already doing. 

The Cult had its agents in nearly every major city in Lordaeron, and their numbers grew daily. Above the secret labyrinth, the noble family of Barov had taken the aisle for their own, creating a new thriving town of humans. It would be they who were the first victims of the dread Plague of Undeath created by Kel'thuzad's master.

But they could not be discovered by the authorities, lest they are taken into custody before the plans had come to fruition. If all went according to plan, if all went smoothly, quietly, the grand armies of his master would wash away the life from this world.

"Lord, the third Cauldron is sealed and prepared for transportation across this land" a voice cut through the thick air. 

To his right stood in the dim light of the stone room his second, Erpwold Dietrich, the so-called Grand Inquisitor of the Cult of the Damned and a masterful necromancer.

Kel'thuzad lifted his bony hands from the pale parchment that lay on an ancient oak-wood table before him. Already they had an overabundance of warriors on the ruins of the old battlefields of the wars that had taken place scant years ago, yet now, this Plague the Lich King had devised would create an even greater thing; something unstoppable, something that no Alliance, nor Horde could stop. 

It would consist of tens of thousands, nay hundreds of thousands of walking dead, chained spirits, and terrible beasts from beyond the world itself, their force growing every time one of their enemies fell.

"Very well my Vassal. It has been foreseen that our great crusade shall begin in the north of this land. We must move quickly, yet silently to plant the seeds of our enemy's destruction now that we are firmly based" 

Kel'thuzad rasped explaining to his Vassal the plan laid before him 

"The first target is here" he then said, pulling out an old piece of parchment that sported a crude map of the northern Kingdom of Lordaeron. 

He pointed to a medium-sized hamlet deep in the densely forested lands beyond a small range of mountains. Beneath the mapping of the town was sketched a name, Andorhol.

"This town is the main supplier of grain in the land. From its rich fields, we shall sow the Plague, which will spread across the land and consume it, for us…" Kel'thuzad ended, dark eyes glowing in anticipation. Soon, the scourging of the land would begin, and the seeds of the future plant.

"Welcome back!"

The army of monsters finally made it back to the dungeon after the long journey from the Vicious Rhino Tribe. They were exhausted. Nevertheless, the harpies rushed to the entrance where Harriet was waiting for them.

Five watched the heartwarming scene and smiled. He recognized the harpies but did not remember their names. There were too many and Five had already decided to distance himself from the harpies a little bit. He still talked to them as usual but he would no longer be biased toward them. The harpies were all different; some were older while others looked as young as a fifteen-year-old child. It was Harriet who named them but for some reason, their names all started with 'a'.

He turned his attention to the other monsters approaching and focused in particular on the new Boss Monsters. He received several system prompts earlier informing him that he unlocked new monsters. The Undead army looked quite impressive.

"Good job, Dreidus." Five nodded at the lich who was closely followed by Lyra, the new Wailing Lady.

"Let's go inside. We do not want to attract unnecessary attention."

As the sun was still up and many barbarians were roaming through the dungeon, the monsters entered using the back entrance. They went through the waterfall and used the backstage tunnels to return to their floors.

"Wait. The Dreadknights and the Wailing Ladies should stay behind. It would be inappropriate for you to guard the same floors as you got stronger. Your friends who stayed back to guard the dungeon also evolved. For now, you will stay in this unused biome, away from the eyes of the barbarians."

"While you have all evolved, I can still summon normal Death Knights and Banshees. They will be the ones protecting your previous floors in your steed. We will make arrangements for you soon," commanded Five. He had already been preparing for the monsters' return.

Dreidus nodded to the monsters. They obediently stepped to the side, allowing the other monsters to return to their floor.

"Master, we also brought a lot of items from the village. The monsters will deposit everything in the storage area of the workshop. We don't know what will be useful. There are also some relics that we obtained; they are with Alice."

"Good job, Dreidus. I knew you could do it," praised Five.

"Truth be told, we would not have succeeded without Ishan's help. He was the one who took down the chief and the Shaman of the tribe," replied Dreidus as he looked at the Flame Scarab Warrior. The latter displayed a proud expression.

Five was amused at Ishan's actions. 'Looks like he adapted quite quickly to the situation.' It has only been a few days since Ishan was summoned. With the massive amount of DP being produced every day by the Blue Eagle Tribesmen, Five no longer hesitated and summoned the Flame Scarab Warrior. He was already planning on building up the Volcanic Biome and would need someone to look after those monsters.

When he was first summoned, Ishan immediately rebelled. He was the same monster that belonged to Bugtopia. There, he was the strongest monster of the dungeon but unfortunately, he was at the auction's venue when Five destroyed the dungeon. 

He was very happy with his life at Bugtopia and after learning that his home was destroyed, Ishan was enraged. He was once again summoned and this time by the very person who destroyed his home. Ishan immediately tried to attack but with Harriet and Dreidus looking after Five, he was bound to fail.

He was forced to swear allegiance under the coercion of Five's monsters and under the combined pressure of [Frenzy] and [Hysteria]. Five did not think much of him; he believed Ishan would just become a lazy monster. It was clear that his heart was not really there but to his surprise, Ishan proved himself in this battle.

'Looks like he is not the type to be let down by the circumstances. He adapted and is still trying to make a name for himself.'

"Good. Ishan, I am aware I did not take your opinion into consideration when building your floor. Take a hundred thousand DP and go modify the Volcanic Biome as you see fit. Actually, Dreidus and Angela should also get that same amount of DP. Angela will speak to the beasts and see whether there is a need for some improvement in the forest biome," declared Five.

He was in a good mood seeing the success of the attack. Furthermore, he had a few million in reserve; there was no need to be conservative. He saved a lot to summon back the two remaining totem spirits in his possession but in the end, he was not ready to summon them yet. Despite the nerf to the DP generation system, he was still making huge profits every day. 

The Blue Eagle Tribesmen no longer spent their entire day sitting in the dungeon; they had other things to do at the village. Nevertheless, there were still three hundred Blue Eagle Tribesmen that came to tend to the fields.

"Thank you. Not that the environment is bad but there are a few improvements that we can make," commented Ishan.

Five chose not to comment. Instead, his eyes landed on the Horned Rhinoceros. "Are they the mounts of the Vicious Rhino Tribe?" 

"I think they were trying to tame them for this purpose but the problem was their numbers. They only managed to raise twenty of them which is far from enough."

"It's good. They have been tamed to some extent but they are still wild. Bring them inside. We'll convince them to join the dungeon later."

"The last Cobra has been killed. I received the notification that we destroyed the Cobra Nest," declared Five.

"So that means we passed the trial? Wasn't that a little too easy?" asked Dreidus. At the same time, he was using [Dead Mind], coordinating the monsters roaming around the Musclewood Forest in search of the Cobras.

Killing these snakes was a piece of cake. The monsters were already more powerful than the reptiles and there was still no sign of the Cobra King. Furthermore, as the temperature was already quite low, the snakes spent their time hidden, in brumation. They were less active and weaker in this period of the year.

"It might have been easy for us but that is not necessarily the case for others. First, we don't know how the Destruction Points are calculated. Some dungeons might have to destroy a lot of entities to pass the trial. But the most important part is that we are attacking instead of defending!"

"It means we are attracting attention to our dungeons. It can be a good thing if the dungeons get more visitors but at the same time, the attacks might attract powerful existences that dungeons cannot deal with yet."

Dreidus paused for a moment. "I see. Attacking the people outside is like poking a hornet nest. They ignored us and farmed at our dungeon because we were passive but now that we attacked, they might feel threatened."

"Yes. In our case, we were quite lucky that the Vicious Rhino Tribe attacked the Musclewood Tribe first. It should not create additional enmity. And as you saw, neutral entities like the Cobra Nest provided a much smaller amount of Destruction Points. However, that does not mean that we can just rest now that we have completed the quest."

"We should use it as an opportunity to get rid of the other dungeon. Angela spoke to the Shamans. According to them, the most likely target of the dungeon, if he is going for the tribes, will be the Brown Bat Tribe or the Pronghorn Tribe. Although the situation has been diffused, there is still some hostility between them and the Swift Gazelle Tribe due to the incident involving the Bramble Deer Tribe," explained Five.

"So you want to use these two tribes as baits and possibly ambush the monsters of the dungeon?" asked Dreidus.

"That would be the ideal case. Who asked him to try to us first? He needs to pay for his actions. It might even be possible for us to attack the dungeon after eliminating its monsters outside. The problem is the Swift Gazelle Tribe. I don't know if they came to an agreement but at the very least, the dungeon should be attacking alone. If they don't do 80% of the work, they won't receive any Destruction Points."

Dreidus nodded. "No wonder Harriet was sending so many harpies and Blue Eagle on those scouting missions. You were keeping an eye on that dungeon but we need to be careful. They might be doing the same thing. Furthermore, we are too far away from these tribes. It would take almost an entire day to reach there. Only flying monsters can travel there quickly but even then, it would take them a few hours."

"I know. We'll need to think about this. I already asked the Shamans to send a messenger to these two tribes, to warn them to be ready for the battle. The next step should be to dispatch some of our monsters to a set up a small camp close to these tribes. This way, they would be able to react quickly and take the other dungeon by surprise."

"Speaking about our monsters. They improved quite a bit using Necromancy but you've also brought back quite a few corpses. I was not planning on that but do you think we should summon Bonesmen? They are good at Engineering and should be able to help you convert the corpses," asked Five. Although he was reluctant to summon even more Undead Monsters, he knew Bonesmen would be a great addition to the dungeon.

They were previously not required as Five believed that Dreidus could simply slowly convert all the corpses into Living Corpses. But now that the system was asking him to go on the offensive, he would without a doubt end up collecting more bodies. It would be a waste to not enlist them into his army.

"Is that a bad thing? We can never have enough monsters."

"Copying and absorbing the positive points of the different forces might be a good thing. Necro Valley is a powerful entity but unless you copy its entire system, you are bound to fail. Unfortunately, it will be impossible to implement their system here and you also shouldn't."

"For example? What should we not take from Necro Valley?" asked Five with a curious expression.

"Necro Valley is the only place in the world where you can find human farms. Countless areas are used for farming humans. The female there are almost permanently pregnant as soon as they come to age. As for the male, they work as slaves during the day and spend the night impregnating women. It would be more accurate to describe humans living there as animals. They are literally raised as cattle and most of them do not even know how to speak."

"Thousands of humans are killed every day and are turned into Living Corpses. Then, the Necromancers perform additional rituals to refine them. As the Living Corpses were malnourished people when they were alive, they are pretty weak. The Living Corpses are used as building blocks to create the higher existences of Necro Valley."

"Twelve Living Corpses can be combined together to form a Corpse Slave. Then, twelve Corpse Slaves are again combined together to form a Corpse Servant. This cycle repeats itself and the corpse continue to become stronger and stronger. The corpse stages are as follows: Slave, Peasant, Servant, Squire, Knight, Noble, Lord, Commander, and King. With each stage, the strength of the corpses goes up by ten levels. Considering the level of the Living Corpses from the barbarians, once refined, they should all become Corpse Servants."

"This is why Necro Valley is so powerful. Using the human farms, it produces many Living Corpses every day. They are all refined and integrated into the existing corpses. Naturally, each fusion has a chance of failure but still, after so many years, Necro Valley has a few powerful beings guarding it. The higher-ups also refined their own body. When they fuse the corpses, the twelve consciousness battle it out and only one survives and take control over the new body. With the system Necro Valley has in place, the consciousness of the corpses is almost inexistent aside from those of the higher-ups."

Five and Harriet attentively listened to Dreidus' explanation. They were getting an insider look at the working of Necro Valley. They previously thought the holy land of the Necromancers was a place full of Undead roaming around. But now, they were learning that the valley was actually full of life. All the Undead were concentrated in those few powerful beings.

"I see and I suppose there is something similar for liches since you said they were trying to absorb you into their system," tentatively said Five.

"Yes. Necro Valley tries to keep the majority of the humans they breed stupid. They usually just leave them to their natural instinct but every year, they take a few humans and actively teaches them magic. This is because, in order to become liches, they need to have a certain understanding of magic."

"The one qualified obtains better treatment while the untalented one gets discarded and turned into normal corpses. I was one of the few who learned Necromancy but, in the end, even I could not escape my fate. They wanted to turn me into a lich, but I escaped in time. The lich stages are slightly different. They are Initiate, Apprentice, Journeyman, Evoker, Conjurer, Wizard, Warlock, Mage and Arch-Mage," explained Dreidus.

"Then, were you planning on doing something similar in the dungeon?" asked Five.

"I will not hide it. I indeed did have this intention which is why I did not use Necromancy on myself to turn me into an Elder Lich. If I do so, I would lock myself out of this system for good. In the future, we would have a lot of Living Corpses. It might be better to combine their strength into a few monsters but my knowledge of Necromancy is limited. I can only upgrade them up to Corpse Noble which would be within the range of level 60 and level 70."

"Wow. That's a lot. And you say we need twelve corpses at the same stage to move to the next one? And there is still a chance of failure? I wonder how many people Necro Valley killed to form their army." Five pondered at Dreidus' revelation. He was indeed attracted by the ingenious system. The system Necro Valley had in place was very efficient. It could create powerful beings but it could not be implemented in his dungeon. He would never be able to find so many corpses.

Seeing Five's expression, Dreidus spoke, "I know what you are thinking, Master. But it took centuries for Necro Valley to come up with this system and build their human farm. At first, they relied on the corpses they found on ancient battlefields. Furthermore, it is the secret of Necro Valley, if they find out that you know about their internal system, they would immediately dispatch an army here. And I don't think the other forces would stay idle either. You don't have a powerful defense like Necro Valley has."

"What are the forces of Necro Valley then?" asked Harriet.

"When I left a few decades ago, there were eight Corpse Kings and three Lich Arch-Mage. All of them were powerful Necromancers with their own summons."

Five's eyes widened. The Corpse Kings and Lich Arch-Mage were all existences above level 90! However, Harriet reacted differently.

"That's it? If so, Necro Valley would have long been destroyed. With their inhuman method and how they are hated by all the empires, I doubt the empires did not try their best to destroy such an evil organization. And as far as I am aware, the minimum qualification to call themselves an empire is to have at least one transcendent being; someone above level 100."

Dreidus nodded at the harpy's comment. "You are right but those were only the forces they openly showed. However, during my stay there, I heard a rumor about an experiment that was performed decades ago. They once tried to fuse twelve Lich Arch-Mages together. The outcome of this experiment remained a secret but since that day, a name circulated around the valley: Lich Longsoul."

"It is said that the experiment had failed and the empires immediately took the opportunity to attack but against all the odds, the army of the empires was repelled and since then, Necro Valley was allowed to develop in peace. It is not hard to imagine what happened with the rumors. I even heard the saying that when the empires' army returned they tried to build up a training area to prepare the next generation to fight against Necro Valley."

"And this was just the forces of Necro Valley during my stay there. With the number of corpses they can make every day, there is no doubt in my mind that it should have many more powerful beings."

Five and Harriet fell silent. "An existence above level 100. Let me guess: Corpse Emperor? Lich Grand Arch-Mage?"

"No. At Necro Valley, they were called gods: Corpse God and Lich God."

Neither Mesa nor Xia Qingyue were aware of the boss monster that appeared in the remains of the lake were the first giant Werewolf Profound Beast appeared. Mesa wasn't aware because he was unconscious and Xia Qingyue wasn't aware because she was solely focused on using her Profound Energy to help heal Mesa. Even Jasmine and Ophis were too busy worrying about Mesa to notice the Boss Monster that appeared. 

Jasmine sat on her bed with her knees pulled back to her chest and her arms wrapped around them and watched and hoped for Mesa to pull through. This has been the first time ever that she saw him like this and she couldn't help herself but be worried to death. Ophis on the other hand, was sitting next to Jasmine on the bed. But instead of looking worried, she looked like her usual emotionless self, not moving a muscle and observing Mesa.  

Meanwhile, in the of the lake were the first giant Werewolf Profound Beast appeared, the giant iceberg that appeared with the Frozen Throne on top, a figure wearing an ornately decorated armor sat on the throne. On the face of its helmet was a slit opening for it eyes and looking at it, it looked like a dark hole with no light in it. But suddenly, two crystal blue lights appear in it and this figure suddenly awakens and looks around itself. 

"What strange place is this? This is not Azeroth and this energy I am feeling is certainly not magic and yet, it strangely feels just like magic." Mumbled the figure as it looked around and got a feeling for the new world where it arrived in. 

"hahahahah….HAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!! This is amazing! This means no infuriating Tirion Fordring to get in my way! And best of all, the holy sword ASHBRINGER will not be here! This world shall fall to the Scourge and I, the Lich King, shall become the King of the Dark to rule over them all!" Said the figure in triumphant celebration who turned out to be the Lich King. 

While she was busy trying to heal Mesa, Xia Qingyue suddenly heard a noise coming from the lake were the first giant werewolf Profound Beast appeared. Seeing that the remains of the lake had been frozen and an iceberg in its middle, Xia Qingyue looks up at the iceberg and sees the Lich King sitting there on the throne. Locking eyes with it, she feels a sense of fear coming over her like she had never felt before. Locking eyes with the Lich King, she felt a darkness coming from it that was nothing like she felt before. When Mesa used the Yamato earlier, she also sensed the dark demonic power from it, but unlike what she's sensing from the Lich King, the dark demonic power from Mesa's blade didn't feel evil like what she's feeling now. It felt more like a force of nature, like it is the antithesis of light and part of the world itself. Looking at the Lich King, she feels an evil darkness of pure chaos and hate emanating from him, a darkness that wants to destroy all of life and the light itself. 

Locking eyes with a human girl in the distance, the Lich King lifted his left hand, pointed it at her and spoke in his malevolent echo filled voice: "You! Girl! Tell me now! What is this power that I sense?" 

Hearing the Lich King speak to her, Xia Qingyue was shivering with fear and paralyzed on the spot. After a few moments, she manages to gather whatever remaining ounce of willpower she had left and stood up. Knowing that she wouldn't stand a chance against Lich King in a fight and that running away was no longer an option, she had resolved herself to go down fighting. Taking a stance, she immediately shoots a spear of ice at the Lich King with all her strength. 

Seeing the spear of ice come at him, the Lich King just sits on his Frozen Throne and does nothing. When the spear of ice hits him, it shatters into a million pieces and doesn't cause any kind of damage. But the audacity of this weak human girl to oppose him, caused him to be outraged: "You wretched little fool! If you submitted your life to me, I would have made sure you died a painless death! But now, I shall make sure you die a horrible death!" 

Standing up from his Frozen Throne, the Lich King walks down the stairs and towards Xia Qingyue. With every step he took towards her, she could feel the specter of death looming closer: "Etch this into your heart when you die and wake up again as my undead slave and serve me forever! I am the Lich King, Dark Lord of Death, Prince of Darkness and Lord of Terror! I shall eradicate all life from this planet and make them my army of undead slave warriors! And make no mistake, I have the power to do it!"

Stepping down from his Frozen Throne, the Lich King now stands at the bottom of the iceberg. Looking up at the sky, he raises his blade, Frostmourne to the skies and starts collecting all of the souls of the dead in his sword. When he was finished, he calls out telepathically to his undead slaves to arise and start killing all the living.

Meanwhile in different places in the Heaven Secret Basin Realm.

Chu Yuechan and Chu Yueli, who had been travelling together in the Heaven Secret Basin Realm, had just killed a monster that looked like a very muscular gorilla the size of a house with a thick coat of white fur, a lion's head and sporting a pair of antlers on its head. They had felt a Tyrant Profound Realm beast appear earlier on and shortly after that the appearance of thousands of Tyrant & Sovereign Profound Realm beasts. But unlike Ling Yuefeng who went to investigate, they made sure to keep their distance as much possible. They had inferred from this sudden appearance of that many Profound Beast, that someone had stepped into their territory and managed to anger them. But over the course of a few hours, as they both put more and more distance between them and the emerging Profound Beasts, they could sense that they were being killed by the dozens. And whoever it was that killed them, they knew they didn't want to be anywhere near them. And so here they were, thousands of kilometers away from the spot were those Profound Beasts were emerging, having just killed the gorilla like beast. 

"Sister, who do you think has been the one that killed all those Tyrant & Sovereign Profound Realm Beasts?" Asked Chu Yueli as she and her sister Chu Yuechan stood over the corpse of the monster they just killed. 

"I don't know. At first, I thought that Elder Ling Kun was the one who killed that first Tyrant Profound Realm that appeared. But after the emergence of all those thousands of Tyrant & Sovereign Profound Realm Beasts, I am certain that it's not Elder Ling Kun. After the appearance of that demonic power that we sensed 9 months ago, I am guessing that the one whom that demonic power belongs to has been killing those Tyrant & Sovereign Profound Realm Beasts." Said Chu Yuechan. 

"But how could, whoever that demonic power belongs to, enter the Heaven Secret Basin Realm, when its only entrance is in the Mighty Heavenly Sword Villa?" Said Chu Yueli who was filled with more questions than answers. 

"I have no idea. I am just as confused as you are. All I know, is that whoever it belongs to, we need to stay as far away from it as possible. Come, let us leave!" Said Chu Yuechan. 

Turning around, she and Chu Yueli were walking away, they heard the sound of snow being crushed behind them. Looking back, their eyes were wide open in shock. For the monster that they had just killed by cutting of its head was getting back up and took its severed head and reattached it to its neck. What they sensed from this… thing, was a dark presence. And unlike the dark demonic power that they felt earlier, this one was filled with malice and hate towards them. And just as they were ready to fight this thing, they saw a skeletal hand suddenly sticking out of the ground. Moments later followed by more and more skeletal and other decayed corpses coming out of the ground, both human and beast alike. Pretty soon, they found themselves surrounded by undead creatures on all sides.  

"Sister! What is this?! How can the dead come back to life! This is against the laws of the heavens!" Said Chu Yueli in total panic.

"I don't know! But just kill them! We'll figure this out later!" Said Chu Yuechan before she used her powers to summon multiple beasts made of ice to fight the undead. 

Back at the site where Mesa had killed the Burning Heaven Clan and Heavenly Spear Thunderfire Sect group, Fen Juecheng still hadn't left the area. Distraught at the loss of everyone he came here with and the fact that he was the sole survivor. Hearing a rustling sound, Fen Juecheng looks at the source of the sound, he sees the bodies of his group stand back up. Thoroughly confused at first how they could stand back up, Fen Juecheng was overjoyed at the fact that his brother and the rest of his group were alive again. But this joy soon turned to horror as he looked at their blood soaked and injury riddled bodies. None of this made any kind of sense and soon enough, he found out that this was a nightmare the likes of which he couldn't imagine. His brother and the rest of his group that had gotten back to life, had eyes that shined with a pale blue light. But the most horrifying this was the fact that he sensed a dark evil emanating from them. This dark evil made his skin crawl with fear. This dark evil was filled with hate and malice and he could sense their immense hate filled killing intent towards him. From this he knew, that he would have to fight them if he wanted to survive.

This happened all across the Heaven Secret Basin Realm. Everywhere, across the entire Heaven Secret Basin Realm, the dead were coming back to life. Whether they'd be human or not, everything that was dead came back to life and filled with an intense hatred to the living and a desire to kill them.

Back at the site where the Lich King is. 

Xia Qingyue was horrified looking around. She saw the Profound Beasts that Mesa had killed earlier all rising back up from the dead and kneeling before the Lich King. She even saw other undead, both and human and non-human, rising from the ground and kneeling before the Lich King.

"Now go my slaves! Go and trample upon the living and kill everyone! I have granted you immortality so that you may herald in a new, dark age for the Scourge." Said the Lich King, to which all the undead moved out in search for anyone living. 

Looking back at Xia Qingyue, the Lich King pointed Frostmourne at her and said: "Now, you foolish little girl. For disobeying your master, I shall inflict upon you the pain and suffering of a thousand deaths!"

And out of Frostmourne, a black ray of light shoots towards Xia Qingyue. Knowing that there was nothing she could do, she had resigned herself to her fate and closes her eyes. But just as she was expecting to feel the pain of a thousand deaths, she instead feels a hand patting her on the head and a voice speaking to her. 

"Good work Qingyue, I am proud of you. You can leave the rest to me now."

Opening her eyes, she looks up to see Mesa standing before her between her and the death beam that the Lich King shot towards her. But just as she wanted to warn him, he holds out his hand towards the death beam and whispers.

"Come Avalon, The Ever Distant Utopia." 

What happened next was like a miracle. There before Mesa, a golden sheath appears that created a barrier in front of Mesa and stopped the death beam from the Lich King in its tracks. 

(A.N.: In the Fate-universe, Avalon can only protect 1 person at a time. Avalon deploys a barrier that protects everyone inside it. Its power is so great, that not even Gilgamesh with Ea using Enuma Elish can pierce it, so the death beam that was shot by the Lich King can be very easily protected against. Because Mesa stood before Xia Qingyue, she was also protected from the death beam that the Lich King shot at her.)   

Seeing his death beam stopped so easily and feeling the Holy Light coming off of the sheath that Mesa used, the Lich King was enraged, even more than when Xia Qingyue shot that spear of ice at him: "You! How dare you stop my death beam! Prepare yourself! For I shall torture you for an eternity and break your very soul!" 

Instead of reacting to him, Mesa just held out his right hand in front of him and said in a whispering tone: "Come to me! Oh Sword of Promised Victory." 

And above his right hand, a golden portal opens up. Out of this portal, the holy sword Excalibur appears. The moment Excalibur appears, it releases a light that causes the Lich King to cover his eyes and scream in pain, while Xia Qinyue looked at the light of Excalibur and instead saw her mother in it. Holding Excalibur with both hands and pointing it to the skies, Mesa uses the Power Stone and releasing its immense power through Excalibur in a light that pierces the heavens themselves. 

"Oh Excalibur, Sword of Promised Victory. Shine your light upon this world." Said Mesa.

All across the Heaven Secret Basin Realm, people could see a golden light pierces through the skies. Moments later, this was followed by a golden particles falling down like golden snowflakes. This light caused all of the undead to scream in pain as their bodies started to disintegrate and they died once again. For everyone alive, the sight of this golden light was like a miracle of the heavens themselves. Everyone who looked at the light started to remember their most cherished moments in life.
