Little Girl: Huh?

[Spectre appears out of nowhere scaring the little girl]

Mercurial: (shows her the sword) Looking for this? 

Helcurt: (blinks in front of the girl) Tremble!

[The Little girl screams and runs. The other wizards sees the little girl being chase by Helcurt and Spectre. The Wizards slows them down by casting arcane missiles. Pitch Black appears and blocks the arcane missiles]

Pitch Black: Those magic of yours are no match.

[Noob Saibot appears behind them and puts them on a brutal killing spree]

Pitch: So this is Dalaran? A place where the wizards live. How come this place was destroyed. (looks at Spectre) What did you found?

Mercurial: I only found a Demon Edge. 

Pitch: A Demon Edge? Interesting. (looks at Noob Saibot) And you?

Noob Saibot: (Shows him Shinnok's Amulet) This will bring you eternal power

Pitch: Sword and the Amulet. Now, Jack Frost's death plunged this timid world... into such terror.

[The entrance is guarded by Pitch's minions]

[Sub-Zero sees Pitch Black and Noob Saibot torturing souls as Mathael claims it. Helcurt grabs another innocent person and brings him to Pitch]

[Suddenly Spectre and Malthael confronts Crystal Maiden]

Mercurial: Rylai. I knew you'd come.

Rylai: You overestimate yourself.

Mathael: Child... My blades are still slick with the souls of your people.

[Crystal Maiden fights Spectre and Malthael. Meanwhile The Lich King Fights Helcurt and Nocturne. All of the sudden Sub-Zero reunites with his brother Noob Saibot]

Sub-Zero: So you allied with Pitch to gain new power?

Noob Saibot: Indeed. With Kronika's death I would made my own purpose to darken all the realms.

Sub-Zero: I shall not live in your shadows.

Noob Saibot: Then die in it, brother.

Sub-Zero: It will not survive the cold.

[Sub-Zero fights Noob Saibot again; Sub-Zero wins again]

Sub-Zero: The Netherrealm can have you.

Noob Saibot: It also has your friend, Smoke.

[Sub-Zero tackles Noob Saibot through the wall as they falls down to the underground. Meanwhile Lich King still fighting Helcurt and Nocturne]

Helcurt: I am death incarnate! 

[Helcurt blinks everywhere and any multiple attack to the Lich King by blinking everywhere. Suddenly He grabs Helcurt in the air and throwing him to the ground, with his hand around his neck]

Lich King: Insect!

[The Lich King attempts to stab Helcurt. But suddenly Nocturne points his right blade to stop him from killing Helcurt]

Nocturne: Ancient was our kind when this world began.

Lich King: I'm afraid my condition has left me cold to your pleas of mercy.

[Nocturne grabs the Lich King and throws him to the underground]

Rylai: Sub-Zero, Arthas. 

[Mei arrives with backup]

Mei: Hi. 

Sub-Zero: I knew you arrived in time, Mei.

[Pitch and his allies confronts Sub-Zero and his allies and turns his attention to Crystal Maiden]

Pitch: So... You have the blood of the Snow Queen in you. Such power.

[Crystal Maiden cast crystal nova to splash Pitch and his allies. Nocturne blocks it and cast paranoia on Crystal Maiden]

Mei: Look out.

[Mei pushes Crystal Maiden away from Nocturne's paranoia suddenly her right arm sliced and wounded]

Rylai: Mei! 

[Malthael attempts to grab Mei. She attempts to freeze him with her endothermic blaster. Malthael blocks the blast then grabs Mei]

Toshiro: Īe, shimasen! (No you don't!) 

[Toshiro releases his Zanpakuto to save Mei from Malthael]

Mei: Xièxiè. (Thank you.) 

[Sub-Zero found one of Kano's weapon and fires them against Pitch and his allies. Suddenly Malthael slice the first missiles them Nocturne grabs the other]

Pitch: Primitive beings. For 300 years technology still means nothing to me.

[Nocturne drops the missile at the left side of the wall and explodes then they vanished]

Mei: What are we under right now?

Sub-Zero: Black Dragon Harbor. 

[After the vanish and explosion, the underground floods]

Rylai: We have to move. 

Sub-Zero: Go. I will deal with this. 

[Crystal Maiden and the others escapes, Sub-Zero decided to stay to block the flood. Suddenly Elsa arrived with Nokk, the Water Spirit. Together they block the flood. Then Sub-Zero stops including Elsa]

Sub-Zero: The flood will not hold on much longer. We have to move.

[Sub-Zero jumps higher to escape as Elsa is being lifted by Gale, the Wind Spirit. She made her escape. But Sub-Zero jumps then Elsa grabs his hand. He sees the ice wall destroyed by the flood. Then they escaped the Black Dragon Warehouse]

Sub-Zero: Is everyone alright?

[Crystal Maiden and the others sees Elsa arrived in her new dress]

Sub-Zero: Elsa, why are you here? 

Elsa: I heard that Pitch Black has come for revenge with new allies 

Rylai: He is. 

Sub-Zero: That is why we're tracking them.

Mei: Wow. You look beautiful. What happened to you?

Elsa: Well. I found who I am. Maybe I could find out who you people are.

Sub-Zero: We have no time for discoveries 

[Sub-Zero walks out but Elsa stops him]

Screw that! I'm definitely going to make a run for it! Or better yet! "DAD!!!! HELP ME!!!" Aethas screamed with all of his might.

 As for why Aethas doesn't try to use any offensive magic to try and escape- one reason, there isn't much that could instantly cripple this Wretch or kill it outright, if he couldn't do any of that in one cost effective spell, it would just pissed this thing off even further and it might decide to chow down on him right there and then, instead of bringing him back to it lair.

 Plus, the only useful thing he got from the [Book of the Dead] was the ability to convert souls into mana and expanding his reserve beyond that of normal mortal, as for offensive? What's that? There isn't any! It's just theoretical knowledge that applied to previously mastered spell! The rest is just Kel'Thuzad damn autobiography and his propaganda for the Lich King, also known as Arthas Menethil.

 To sum it up, Aethas only magical knowledge are enchanting, disenchanting, soul conversions and the ability to wrought control of the undead from the Scourge, only the weaker one of course, and some basic magic to create a small spark to light a fire! Which isn't enough to kill! If he were to have his bag of explosive marble (which roughly had around 20-30 left.) he could detonate the damn thing on this sucker and make a run for it.

 But no, it's too good to be true, he left the bag on the carriage thinking that his dad could keep them all safe instead of carrying it on him at all times, and now he paid the price, however a ray of hope finally came to Aethas, in the form of his father calling his name from behind.
 
"DAD!!! I'M AT THIS DIRECTION!!!" he shouted out with all his might once again and struggling to get loose from his captor. "I'M COMING TO YOU MY BOY! JUST HANG IN THERE!!!" he screamed, it seem like his dad managed to pick up on his voice and chased after them.

The Wretch notice that Aethas was being quite loud and much of a nuisance, thus- a surprise in the form of a punch in the gut, which was strong enough to knock the air out of him and caused him to pass out from the pain, that is all Aethas remember, a sharp pain in the gut and everything went black, Aethas could only pray that nothing "too" bad would happen to him afterward and the voice of his father getting fainter and fainter as time goes by.
 
 Yep, it seems like this isn't going to end well for Aethas, hopefully nothing like waking up totally naked or not waking up at all, ever- that is probably the worse case scenario.

 Part 2

 By the time Aethas woken up, he did not know how much time had passed in the outside world, since all he could see and feel right now is the cold and wet ground inside of a cave, in the middle of nowhere, and being bounded up with rope, alongside a group of victim who gotten themselves into the same situation as himself, possibly becoming feed for the Wretches.

 The next thing he looked for was any "violation" that had happened when he passed out, only to let out a sigh of relief the moment he found his clothes were still intact, look like nothing had happened yet- but he wished the same could be said for the victim around him, ranging from beaten up and drained of mana Blood Elves female and male, their will seems to have completely been broken by these savages, only breathing husk of themselves remained, they could only describe as soul-less meatbag if there's a better word for it.

 As for the location itself, the place is littered with bones and rotten corpses of victims, needless to say, it stinks to high heaven, imagine the smell of dead fish baking in the hot sun for a few days, the odor is much worse here since they are in an enclosed space.

 "Hey you! The little boy! Finally woken up I see?" a raspy voice of a woman called out for him from the corner of the cave, where all the dead victim are kept by the Wretches, noticing the voice Aethas turn his attention there. "You were trying to cross the border huh? You walk right into those Wretches ambush, same as us- and that spy over there!" for some reason, Aethas could feel a major deja vu coming from this scene. Fate indeed has a sense of twisted humor.

 "Damn you Forsaken scum, if it weren't for you, I could have sneaked into Eversong Wood and complete my mission as planned, but you couldn't help but chased and lead me right into their ambush huh?" the spy seems to be a Night Elf, he must have snuck in through from the Eastern Plagueland or so Aethas concluded- but hold it! What the hell?! Author! I think you got the wrong game mixed up! Aethas cried out bitterly inside.

 "What is going to happen to us?" the spy cried out after noticing the grim environment around him. "What else? Possibly return to your Elune and me? Eternal suffering?" the Forsaken woman concluded- it was not wrong, that will be their fate since Aethas know the habit of the Wretches better than these two, he know of their dirty personality.
 
 "I can guarantee that as well, you two might not know this- but the Wretches had a bad habit of breaking their victim open and drain every sip of mana from their body, before possibly cannibalised them." Aethas added fuel to the fire, just because it was amusing to watch the Night Elf spy wailed in despair.

 "There's no crying about it now, we're all brothers and sisters in chain now…" the Forsaken woman told the both of them as she glanced at the horror caused by these creatures- which were second to that of the Scourge.

 "Well this isn't funny anymore, here they come." from Aethas corner of the cave, he could see a group of Wretches just enter the cave with drool all over their mouth, heading for their direction, it seems like one of them is going to die today, by now the other two also notice the incoming hostile already, the one who attracted the most attention seem to be the Night Elf spy as he trying to undo his binding- and surprisingly, he succeeded! "Haha! I'm not going to die here today!" 

 As he said that, he charged at the Wretch after picking up a sharp piece of femur bone on the ground and shanked one of them in the gut- sure it killed one of the Wretches, however he miscalculated, who said there was only one Wretches? Before long a group of them already jumped the stupid Night Elf and shredded him to pieces, before squeezing all the mana in his body and then moving on to the body of their former allies.

 "Well that was stupid, who let him be a spy?" Aethas mouth twitched seeing how dumb that Night Elf was, whoever trained this idiot needed to be fire- or better yet, just kept training more of these dumbass so they wouldn't have to issue about having spy in their kingdom ever again.

 "Don't worry, it baffled me too." the Forsaken woman nodded in agreement.
*BOOM! The sound of an explosion shook the area, spooking the Wretches and causing them to immediately rushed outside to check on the situation.

 "Well, I guess it's time for us to leave, we couldn't let this situation gone to waste now that there's someone helping us outside." the Forsaken woman too, had broke from her binding, it seem like she managed to sneak a dagger inside of her dead body.

 "Wow… never knew being an undead could be so convenient." Aethas couldn't help but comment after seeing the woman digging out a dagger from inside of her back and cutting the rope. "I know, I was surprised about it too after I regained my freedom."

Xiao Yu, a regular college nerd, orphan at a young age, he loves nothing else but to study( and playing World of Warcraft), get good grades in school- as a matter of fact, he has been the top of his class since the day he started school, up until the current present of his college life- it was abruptly ended when he tried to save a kid from being run over by a train, but unfortunately he didn’t make it out in time.

Morning came slowly for Jack and his small party. They stayed at a simple inn to avoid any unwanted attention. As the sun rose, they were already on the streets searching for a caravan to join.
It wasn't hard to find a merchant willing to give them passage for a fee. Considering that Keela was pretending to be gravely ill to cover her face, it was quite a sum that they had to pay, but it was part of the plan.
The merchant offered to lower it if Rydel took a role as a guard, but he was too worried about his sick daughter to handle guard duty.
All three were cooped up in a covered wagon together with bundles of merchandise. In an hour, they would have crossed the Zuran-Reinolt border and be able to fly the rest of the way.
With their change of plans, they were cutting it very close to their deadline.
Sadly, other than by Rydel's roc, there was no other way for people from Reinolt City to reach the border, if not, then Zariff and Maynard would have rushed there overnight. Instead, the three of them would have to hope for the best.
Jack had started to wonder what else might go wrong. If he could prevent such issues from happening, then he'd be able to change his fate and Slivia's.
"Jack, calm down already. If we make it, then we'll make it. If not, you said you were already aware of our chance of failure," stated Rydel in a hushed tone. They made sure to speak quietly while in the caravan.
Not satisfied with his chances, Jack ignored Rydel and kept trying to think of possible ways to speed up the journey.
"Umm, are you okay, Jack?" asked Keela. It was easy for her to sense that Jack didn't have the calm and confident attitude he showed in the catacomb.
"I'm fine, I just wish that we could go faster." Not wanting to talk, Jack leaned back and closed his eyes.
Rydel and Keela both started to worry about him, but they couldn't do anything. So, in the meantime, Keela and Rydel talked about everything that was happening in the Reinolt Kingdom.
Also, Rydel started to explain what the Adventurers Association was and what it stood for. Since Keela was raised in the Zuran Empire, she had only heard about the Adventurers Association from passing stories. Now that she would be officially joining Jack's party, it was important for her to become an association member and learn about her future role in the team.
Keela was lv. 27, but Jack was able to overpower because she was a pure cleric and could only cast healing spells. Of course, she was extremely talented at those and was a perfect fit in their party dynamic.
'Jack, calm down.' Bowzer popped out of Jack's cloak and started rubbing his soft fur all over Jack.
'I'm fine Bowzer, why don't you play with Keela. She still has to get used to you, okay?'
The fox pup frowned but he nodded. 'Okay.'
As Bowzer crawled into Keela's arms and let her pet his fur, Jack was trying to find ways to distract himself.
Then he remembered about all the loot from Ponlinne's tomb. Not wanting to whip out valuable items in such a place, he went to his skill list first and purchased Eagle Eye. It was too good a skill to pass up.
Then he went to his achievement list and claimed his latest reward.

After buying Eagle Eye, Jack was left with thirty-five skill points, which he decided to save for a rainy day.
Next, Jack inspected Ponlinne's activity log. Since he had more time to kill than he wanted, he figured that he might as well use it.
First, Jack confirmed that Ponlinne had managed to reach lv. 87. It was true! Jack had no clue how considering the level cap in "A Hero's Tale," but it had happened.
Second, Jack started inspecting the activity log for everything involving the catacomb. Like he had guessed, it was the same ancient crypt that Jack had visited in-game. However, according to Ponlinne, it had changed.
The crypt that Jack knew was for low-level grinding where the lower you went, the stronger the undead. It ranged from lv. 15 to lv. 35.
Ponlinne, in some diary entries, mentioned that the crypt had started to change after the Holy War ended. It had started to spawn monsters of all levels, but only in accordance with whoever was inside the crypt.
He had sent a party of lv. 20's inside and they returned after facing creatures as strong as lv. 29. Yet, whenever Ponlinne entered, he had to face lv. 80's and had once seen a lv. 88 creature before he ran away.
Jack had guessed that Ponlinne stayed near that crypt to try and grind to level up. If there was a new patch or expansion that raised the level cap, then that would explain why Ponlinne made his home there. Where else would a cleric be able to solo grind other than facing strong undead creatures?
Checking information about his death, Jack discovered that Ponlinne had died against a lv. 89 lich king. Though Ponlinne was a powerful wielder of holy magic, the lich king was too much and caused his death.
Ponlinne had even tried to run away from the battle, but the lich king made it impossible. The moment the lich king had caught him in its sights, it chased Ponlinne until he was dead.
"That's one way to go. At least he was still only a player at the time." 
Jack started to think about what he would've done if he were stuck in a place like that. It wouldn't be easy, but Jack thought he would at least enjoy the thrill while he could.
Also, Jack wondered what had caused the crypt to change. Ponlinne had tried to investigate, but he wasn't successful. He did, however, discover some rather interesting information about the crypt.
Depending on who was inside the crypt, the layout would change. The higher someone's level was, the deeper the crypt went. According to Ponlinne, the lich king was the final monster at the very bottom of the crypt. Behind the lich king's tomb, there were closed doors. Had Ponlinne succeded, he thought those doors would open to reveal the real secrets of the crypt. Sadly, he failed against the final monster, even with his holy magic being super effective against undead.
Just then, a distant shout rang out. "Halt!"
The wagon came to a gradual stop and the sounds of horses trotting also stopped. Against Jack's wishes, the entire caravan had stopped.
Unhappy with the sudden development, Jack grunted and exited the wagon in search of the merchant.
"Excuse me, but what's going on?" asked Jack.
The merchant shrugged, "Nothing, the border patrol is just backed up. Apparently they're being extra cautious today, something about a noblewoman being kidnapped by a middle-aged man on a bird. Seriously, these stories just keep getting weirder and weirder.
"Tell me about it," sighed Jack. "Any idea how long it'll be?"
"There's a huge pile-up, so we'll probably be adding at least another half a day to our trip, maybe even a full day. I'm sorry for the inconvenience."
Squinting at the many wagons ahead of them in line, Jack shrugged his shoulders and hid his anger. "I guess that's just the way it is. Hopefully, this will blow over quickly. Thank you."
He walked back to the wagon and informed Rydel and Keela of the news.
"Wow, this makes things more difficult. We should be fine, but it'll definitely take longer." Suddenly, Rydel looked more concerned. "Jack, you know what this means, right?"
Jack didn't respond, but both Rydel and Jack could see the pain in his eyes.
"Everything's going to be okay, Jack, really. It's just going to take some more time, that's all." Keela did her best to try and comfort Jack. Little did she know, she made it worse.
Seeing Jack like that, Rydel added, "Hey Jack, don't try anything funny, no matter what! If we're caught, they have plenty of people over lv. 30. Even with your fox, there's no guarantee that we could escape through a fight. And don't try and blame her either, This would've happened either way, and you know that deep down."
Not wanting to accept reality, Jack's eyes started to water. With all his heart, he wanted so much to dash out and force his way into Reinolt, but Rydel was right. 
There was no chance of them breaking through the border with only those him, Rydel, and Bowzer attacking. Plus, they would have to protect Keela, which would be next to impossible. 
The Zuran Empire was an ancient empire that had survived for a long time. Though the Zuran Empire was being held off thanks to a powerful expert in Reinolt, the empire's overall strength was head and shoulders higher above Reinolt's. All the guard captains were at least lv. 30 and they could never guess how many lv. 30's they would have to face to breach the border.
Against all of Jack's hopes, wishes, and plans, he was forced to quietly wait in a wagon for his chance to peacefully cross the border, effectively failing to save Slivia.

Hey, um, Hi! I’m currently rewriting this. So if you click on my account or just search up ‘Reincarnated as a Slime’ You’ll find it. I literally made this two years ago so the writing is really just terrible. Sooooo, if you want to read this but with better characters, plot, writing, and basically everything, check it out. There’s not many chapters out for it but it’s muchhh better than this. Oh, also, it’s way less of a ripoff of ‘That time I got Reincarnated as a slime’.

A weird smell of incense woke me up from my sleep.... 'Where is this faint incense smell coming from?'.. I wondered stranding up quietly to not wake up the others, but to be honest if they were sleeping through Daisy's and Scarlets loud snoring I'm pretty sure they can sleep through anything. I noticed Paul wasn't here.... 'He must be in his room'.... I quietly and carefully crepted to his door opening it slowly and silently a possible. 'Hmmmm he's not here either...' noticing his bed was untouched and perfectly made. 'He must be where the incense smell is coming from....' following my nose I discovered the smell was coming from his locked room that was left slightly open.
"Paul?..." I whispered opening the door slightly to peer inside. I starred in awe quietly as it looked like a museum.... hundreds and hundreds of things on shelves and glass cabinets with the source of the smell coming deep within the room.
Curiosity getting the better of me as always I silently slipped into room taking care not to open the door too much. It was truly amazing... I guess this is Paul's personal treasure trove of items and equipment..... Slowly I made my way deeper into the room the smell of incense getting stronger and stronger. "Paul." I said noticing the back of someone that looked like they was in a wheel chair.
"Emilia?..." He turned around to face his eyes red and swollen from crying.
"Hey you okay?..." I asked worried about him walking closer.... "What are you doing?.." I asked noticing he had packs and packs of incense.
"It's my way of paying my respects to those who passed away...." He said in a solemn tone returning to face a large ash filled tray filled with stalks of completely burned incense.
"Can I?..." I asked politely.
"Yeah..... Here." He said taking out two stalks of incense and lighting them for me. "Just you know... Pray for them and hope they find their way to heaven..." He said putting them in my right hand and placing my left hand around my right to resemble praying hands. I closed my eyes praying they find a way to heaven and opened my eyes.
"Now you just plant it into the ash tray....." He said guiding my hand to imbed the stalks into the ash tray where the two he lit earlier was still burning.
"Are these all the Students of Atlantis that has lost their lives?..." I questioned quietly to maintain the solemn atmosphere.
"Yes... All the students and individuals that unfortunately we lost due to my decisions and actions..." He answered closing his eyes taking a deep breathe.
"I thought we only lost one student....." I questioned noticing we burnt two stalks.
"We lost on students.... and one Guard bravely sacrificed himself to complete a task for me..." He explained as tears began to flow down his eyes. I instinctively pulled his head closer to me holding him tightly, 'just what have you been through all these years?.....''
He silently pulled his head away gently after calming down and pulled out a big handful of incense and began lighting them all in small bunches. "This set are for all the soldiers that I murdered today... I don't know how many...." He said imbedding the incense into a larger bowl is alot more left over stalks.
"Let me..." I said taking some bunches and began helping him to finish planting the incense taking care not to burn myself.
We prayed in silence for a few seconds before raising our heads........ "Come let's go..." He said with intense sorrow in his eyes.
"You can't keep blaming yourself." I said to him quietly and respectfully.
"I know...... I tell myself that as well.... but I always wondered maybe if I was a little smarter or more prepared I could save lives on both sides....." He cursed.
"Paul you did your best..... And that's all anyone can ask for..." I said trying to comfort him. He nodded in silence but I can tell from his expression he's punishing and blaming himself for everything that happened.
"So what is this room?..." I asked after a few minutes of silence hoping to get his mind off things.
"This is the room we have for extremely dangerous items and artifacts....." He explained wheeling through the room. "For example..... See that Pitch Black floating crystal encased in glass?.." He asked me pointing at it.
"Yeah...." I answered.
"Well that is.... a Black Soul Stone containing a fragment of the Shackled Oblivion.... merely being near it will corrupt and drive someone insane and become a servant to the Shackled Oblivion with the ultimate goal of releasing it back into the universe." He explained making me take a few steps away from it.
"Can't you destroy it?..." I asked feeling frightened of the evil it can cause.
"Ohhh so small back story.... Shackled Oblivion Started a war with all the other Gods..... Wanting to bring darkness and death to everything that living.... It took the combined might of all the Gods to defeat it... and even then could only shackle it in the plane of Oblivion where it stays trapped for eternity, eternally fighting scheming and finding ways to unbind itself......" He explained.
"So no destroying it?.." I asked.
"I don't think I have the power to..... Nor do I know what will happen if I did...." He answered.
"We're safe right?.." I questioned.
"The glass case it's in is protected with a null zone.... but even then going near it will cause very disturbing images." He answered.
"Gotcha don't go near it..." I answered, "You got anything that won't spell disaster and doom to the whole world?.." I asked jokingly.
"Ohhh this is cool..." He said pointing at a large egg encased in a similar glass case, it was beautiful.... all across the shell was bright lights of different intensities all flowing in one direction like the night sky as if I was peering into space itself. "That is the Egg of one of the rarest Dragons to ever exist.... A Celestial Dragon....." He smiled seeing my reaction.
"A space dragon?..." I asked.
"Yes..... A Celestial Dragon is an everlasting Dragon that lives in the Astral plane.... even I have never seen one... can you imagine?... the infinite knowledge it must have..." Paul explained in awe. "Anyways because time doesn't flow in the Astral Plane..... The only way a Celestial Dragon can reproduce is laying an egg in a plane of existence... We came across this specimen when we cleared a Dragon Cult..." He smiled.
"Will it hatch?.." I asked curiously.
"Scarlet and Ashley say's there is a Baby Dragon in there.... but we've had it for years and nothing has happened so far... even its mother hasn't returned for it." Paul explained.
"Wow... what do they look like?.." I asked curiously.
"From what I've read.... they are like Serpentine Dragons similar to those you see in Chinese Mythology they are depicted to be ethereal…. Beautiful coloured in purple and blue." Paul answered.
"Wow..." I uttered in awe my imagination going wild.
"Ohh this is interesting..." He said pointing at an urn..... Encased in ice constantly spewing out blue and black smoke falling to the grounds of its confines.
"That seems evil..." I instinctively said just looking at it brought chills up my spine.
"Remember the object that kept the Evil person from dying in the books you love to read so much?..." He asked.
"Yeah....." I answered.
"Well that..... Is the Urn of a Lich called a Phylactery..... That is the only true way to kill a Lich... destroy the Urn and the Soul of the Lich contained within will die to." He explained.
"Woah....." I looked at it in complete fear. "Who does it belong to?..." I asked.
"Holding a Lich's Phylactery keeps the Lich at bay..... It's an insurance policy." Paul answered.
"Why not just destroy it.....?" I questioned.
"A Phylactery is one of the most ancient of Necromantic Rituals and spells... It has been noted that destroying a Phylactery will also result in the destroyer's death regardless of where they are...... and not only that the immense amount of Necromantic energy in that small Urn will let out a giant Death nova rendering a huge area Lifeless for decades." Paul answered.
"So earlier before.... about Scarlets armour being made out of Platinum Dragon Scales... what is that?..." I questioned.
"It's a long story..... There was One dragon the true God of Dragons....... It birthed two Dragon Gods... Bahamut the King of Dragons the only known Platinum Dragon to ever exist... and Tiamat the Queen of Dragons...... Bahamut and his metal coloured kin are normally considered good and fight for righteousness...... Then there's Tiamat and her coloured kin..... They have normal colours like green black and red..... They are considered generally evil and selfish." He began to explain making me wonder was it a dragon that I saw back in the Sporean village. "As you remember Helen and Grace's look of disbelief..... Since Gods can't come here how is it possible to get the scales of a Platinum Dragon?" He chuckled.
"So what is it made out of?.." I questioned.
"No idea... to be honest….. It's defiantly made from Dragon scale but how and what exactly.... I don't know." He chuckled.

Jack's narrowed eyes opened slightly as his gaze fell upon the leg clenching Leslie, his first Wife, as a rush of chemicals flooded the brain that grew within his skull.

[Ah... I... Wow...] Jack revaluated Leslie, again. It seemed that possessing flesh and having a brain again with his soul attached changed his thought patterns. At least the chemicals that it produced seemed to influence him greatly.

"Ya brought Us here witchy, soz stop makin' goo-goo eyes wit ya first wife, and tell Us bosses what it is ya needs." Crag took in another strong hit of dust, as his give-a-fuck meter was at an all-time low.

All of the present undead collectively drew their gaze to Crag, as he smiled largely.

"Wut? Ya want a hit???" Crag looked slightly buzzed, as he then responded, "Sorry, but this is for me and the big boss to enjoy... Ya butch of mugs can piss off, wit whatever ya thinking."

"That's enough, Crag." Jack raised his right hand to Crag.

Crag noticed his buzz just went away, and a chill crawled along his bones, as he sat straighter in his seat. It was only now that he realized that he had the ire of all of the members of the Clergy and the amusement of the rest.

Jack took another look at Leslie, as then then looked over the rest, and with his strangely hypnotic voice he continued, "What Crag said is correct, however crass. We don't have much time. Pope Lucius detained a strange child within the jails not long ago, and I'm sure many that need to know, know of her strangeness."

The military, Clergy, Holy Sentinels, and Leslie all nodded.

"I don't know how to break this easily, so I will just be straight forward. That was the child of the union of Life and Death. The grandchild of the Creator, himself."

A collective gasp rang from the zombie undead, while a rattling sound emanated from the skeletal undead.

Jack pressed both hands in the air down, as a sudden silence occurred. Mark tilted his head as he continued to watch the actions of this undead in front of him. He looked down at his hands and watched the front icicled in his hands being forcibly pulled to the floor, as if some invisible force besides gravity was in play.

[So, the Lich King returns... But... Now what do I do?] Mark looked over to Janet, who took her eyes off the God-King to match his gaze. Mark could see fear behind her eyes, as he reached out with his left hand to hold Janet's. Janet squeezed Mark's hand in response.

"It seems the Church of the Three Gods have pulled some tricks and have snatched this child from Our Jail Quarters."

Lucius slammed his hands on the table he was seated and rose quickly.

"Don't bother checking... Death has already informed me that she's gone." Jack spoke in response.

"Then what do we do!?" Lucius sat back down but maintained his panic.

"We go to war. Death has given us three days to retrieve his daughter, or this world will be no more."

"Why doesn't Mr. Death just save his own daughter." Mark spoke up, causing a wave of ill from the rest present, and the narrowing of Leslie's eyes, as she turned to see him.

"That's the point. We all die, when he comes to get her. Either we secure her and our lives, or he secures her, and we are forfeit. Or... Mark Lokson, would you rather that we sit here and ask stupid questions until doomsday?"

Mark let go of Janet's hand, as he hardened his voice, "How do you know that name?!"

Jack narrowed his eyes, "With the history of death, what don't I know? Again, I don't have time for your or anyone's antics save for my own selfishness. The rest of you that would rather wait for your demise, step up now so I may strike you down to save myself the time."

A General of the Spellslingers, Legion of Warmarshal Stephanie, raised his head to speak, "Your own selfishness, my God-King?" This short stout zombie undead continued to look upon the God-King as he questioned his wording.

Stephanie glared to the side of her, as she regretted now bringing this newly appointed general with her... Others within the Court didn't understand why anyone would question the God-King after his announcement.

Jack smiled as he looked upon the General, "Yes, my own selfishness. General. I believe that's your rank from your medals. What is your name?"

"Uh, Bart Metelhearts."

"I see... Warmarshal Chaoshood, please arrange an offering to the Metalhearts Clan as an apology."

Stephanie Chaoshood had no idea what she was to apologize for or what to offer, but she responded, "Yes, my God-King."

Jack continued to smile as he nodded, he raised his thick right arm, and pointed to the General, "Bart Metalhearts... Kill yourself."

A strange hue of black, purple, and greenish-blue colors came from around the General and entered into him. Bart Metalhearts then stood up, and shouted, "...as... you command..." with his, now, blank eyes, he placed both of his hands on either side of his head and he pushed together with all the force of his Grand Master cultivator rank.

Black blood and brain matter burst forth, as his powerless body slumped and fell to the floor, staining the white rug that split the courtroom in two. Everyone watched the cruel punishment in front of them. Some wondered how the God-King did it, while others hoped they were not next. Joan licked her lips, as the snakes in her hair tasted the air that contained the scent of black blood excitedly.

"Anyone else, feel the same?" Jack swept his flaming eyes across the room.

Many thoughts crossed the minds of the undead present, but none voiced them.

"Good. Very little information was provided to me, but what little I do know, is that Borda has a port exclusively for the Church of the Three Gods. I need the Warbreakers and Spellslingers to assemble east of the city within the next six hours, the faster the better."

"Warmarshal Joan!"

"YES, MY GLORIOUS GOD-TYRANT!"

Jack's smile curved ever so slightly at the edges, "You will be the vanguard as the Warbreakers are always. You shall lead my forces. We are not just attacking the Church of the Three Gods... But all of Borda..."

"YES, YES! BY YOUR VERDICT!!! OH, GOD-KING I SHALL KILL ENDLESSLY AND DRINK DEEPLY THE BLACK BLOOD THAT SEEPS INTO THE LANDS, ALL IN YOUR APOCALYPTIC NAME! KILL THE POPULOUS, BURN THE CITIES, RAZE THE LANDS, AND **** THE RESOURCES!"

"Yes... This is good, Joan... Now... Be off." Jack gentle waves his left hand as if he was bored, but his expression showed his pleasure.

Joan stood, and grabbed the spaced-out Verruca to her side and frog marched her massive form out of the courtroom followed by Warmarshal Stephanie Chaoshood. The dead body of her General left behind. Stephanie cared not for the General... Her unlife was the God-King's... Even with her love for her husband, he didn't have claim to her life, as the God-King did...

"Pope Lucius."

"My God-King?" Lucius felt out of sorts seeing Jack be so heartless to a General. While he knew that Jack had a cold streak, it seemed he was enjoying it this time...

"Stir the hearts of the masses. Our war with Borda is just. They angered Death. Remember Lucius. I am the God-King. All are equal in death... but all in death serve me."

Lucius was about to agree with Jack but then heard the ending statement. It had always been, "All are equal in death." What was this tacked on the end? "All in death serve him???"

Mark commented, "Lich King."

"What?" Jack looked up.

"Sorry. I just happened to remember a passage I once read about you." Mark commented seeming to have regained his usual composure from earlier.

"Oh? That's nice." Jack brushed aside the comment, and continued, "Holy Sentinels. I will be going with the Legions for their war on Borda and the Church of the Three Gods. Come with me if you wish."

A buzz issued, and then silenced.

Jack nodded.

"I ask everyone here, not to leak this information." Jack commented looking at the others.

"I hope that you will aid me in these endeavors. Suppress the information of the end, encourage the death of Borda and their false church, and lastly... Hail to I, the God-King of my Pantheon." Jack said coldly.

"My dearest, and most precious wife, Leslie... Please see fit to execute anyone that decides to divulge this information, and any that hear it."

Leslie nodded absentmindedly.

"Good. Alright then. I'll be off in six hours. Oh, and Mark."

Mark nodded, as Jack spoke, "You'll be going with Us. You know how these rats of the Three Gods scurry about the best, so it will aid me greatly."

Mark nodded again, though slowly.

Jack turned to leave, as he heard a voice, "God-King! I have made progress!"

"Doctor Hollowell?" Jack turned, as his flaming eyes peered at the insane doctor.

"Do tell?" Jack spoke amused, as the rest of the court began to disperse.

Are we ever wholly dead? Completely dead? 

Jack has lived a lonely sad life, and we follow him into death! Follow Jack's journey into death, where he finds that death isn't the end, but just the beginning.

After death, Jack awakes in a new world, very alien from our own, in every way one can imagine. As some things change, others do not; is it human nature that is vile or do all intelligent beings become a slave to their ambitions.

Jack finds himself the ruler of an undead kingdom. Furthermore, he is The Holy Witch King, an undead with Holy powers? What's a bonehead to do?

Guard: The kanima is here my lord.
King Morghdad: Mane you shouldn't have done this. You have conquered us already you don't need the Kanima again. We can be killed honourably.
Sarah: He is here..
Mane: We have to go.
Sarah: Look we will be back.
(Mane and Sarah runs out of the palace)
(King Morghdad and others also ran out to see what is happening)
King Morghdad: The kanima is here we are doomed!
Peter: Wait minute.. The kanima isn't attacking us.. The kanima is attacking Malikos not Wallnock.
Tom: Are you sure?
Peter: Look for yourself.
King Morghdad: It's true.. What does this mean?
Peter: The kanimalord is from Wallnock?
King Morghdad: How can we have the greatest Sorcererlord among us and the Kanimalord and we still suffer in the hands of Mane like this.
(The kanima killed over half of Malikos men alone. Mane and Sarah were on the Horse escaping Mane's horse was injured and couldn't go very fast)
King Morghdad: Look, something is wrong with Mane's horse.
Peter: (Brings out his arrow) let me target him.
Tom: Don't kill him. He will die a slow and painful death.
(Peter shoots the arrow to Mane's leg and arm.)

King Morghdad: Let's start untying my people.. Won't the kanima destroy us? What is it waiting for? I am scared.
Peter: If a kanima completes the mission given by its master. The kanima immediately goes beside its master and stand there. Maybe today we will know the kanimalord.

(Cross and Mike arrives)
Cross: What happened!!!! (Runs towards the king)
King Morghdad: (Slaps him) why are you guys just coming. They have killed us. They Unclad our women. Tied our men. (Grabs him by the cloth) all you do is come late! Come late! Come late!!!...
Tom: My Lord its coming towards us.
King Morghdad: What? (Sees the kanima) Run!!!
Cross: What? Why is it coming towards me. This thing must be crazy.
Peter: I think the kanima is going to meet its master.
King Morghdad: We will know that idiot today!.
(Everyone was anxious to know the kanimalord. So they watched the kanima till it walked majestically and stood right beside Cross)
King Morghdad: Why did it stop?
Peter: Cross is the Kanimalord!!!!!
Crowd: (Murmuring)
King Morghdad: Cross? That must be a mistake.. Is the kanima crazy?..
(Jane comes out from the crowd and hugs Cross.)
Tom: Cross the messiah! Cross the messiah! Cross the messiah!
(Crowd joins him)

Cross: We are sorry we came late.
(In malikos)
Queen Tina: Where Is he? Tell me!
Sarah: He got captured. All didn't go as planned.
Queen Tina: How dare you tell me all didn't go as planned. Are you crazy?
Sarah: My lady calm down. I am also in trouble here. I can't go back to Wallnock. I am trapped in here.
Queen Tina: I never trusted you one bit. You were always a traitor. Get my husband back or else...
Sarah: Or else what? Tina don't push me to the wall. I have calmed a lot for you.
Queen Tina: You dare call me Tina? (Slaps Sarah) You bastard!

(For over two weeks everybody knew Cross a slave boy is the Kanimalord. No town dares Wallnock. It was a surprise to everybody. Cross is a blessing)
King Morghdad: Cross why are you still insisting on not killing Mane. He has done enough.
Cross: No My lord, It has a purpose. Perfect. When the time comes you will know my lord.
King Morghdad: Okay, its your choice though.
Peter: My Lord, we have gone to all the town in the nation and they are all scared of us. We have told them to always bring forth 65% of their harvest and profits every month.
King Morghdad: Wow! That's great. Malikos should be 75%.
Peter: I even told them 80% they have no choice they have to pay.
King Morghdad: (Laughs) Yes. They have been in this position for long. We have to tell them we have cross here.
Cross: Must we collect their harvests?
King Morghdad: It is a must Cross. This is why we are the most powerful in the nation.
Tom: Cross seems to be too emotional. Any town with the greatest Sorcererlord in the nation or with the Kanima would have done worse.
Cross: Can't we be different?
King Morghdad: We can't Cross.. We need to be superior than every other town.. We need to show them we have the power.
Peter: Anyone who fails to adhere to our command will be punished.
(Cross now lives in the palace. In a luxurious room)
Mike: Hey Cross. You don't have time for us anymore since the day you became the 2nd hand of the king.
Cross: I was being busy Mike.
Jane: You should create more time for us.
Simius: Or let us move in with you.
Cross: As my what?
Mike: As your friends. And Jane becomes your wife.
Jane: That's a very good idea. We can't afford to lose you just like that.
Cross: I will try and see what to do.
Jane: So what is going on in the palace?
Cross: We are attacking Triton tomorrow.
Mike: Why?
Cross: According to the King they refused to bring to us the monthly dues.
Jane: Triton is a very inferior town to Wallnock why would they want to attack them?
Cross: It's the influence of having the control over Kanima.
Mike: This is rubbish! We were against Malikos when they were doing all this.. Now Wallnock is doing the same.
Peter: (Enters) Cross. We are ready let's move.
Cross: Okay. Mike Jane Simius. I will be back. Stay here till I return. Have the fullest of fun I will soon be back.
(Cross and Peter leaves the town)
King Ray: What can I do for you?
Peter: We are from Wallnock and the king has told us to come check you. Why have you not brought your monthly dues to us.
King Ray: (Laughs) Our harvest and profits are made by us. I don't remember Wallnock working with us.
Cross: King Ray. I don't want to cause any trouble. Small towns like you are very stubborn. Just obey and give us 65% of your earnings every month. Remember we can destroy Triton in a minute.
King Ray: Keep shut! Now go back and tell your king to do his worse. As long as I am still king. I will never bow to any Town in this nation.
Peter: Hmmm.. (Cross cuts in)
Cross: Okay sir. We will be back. And this time it might not be in a gentle man's way. Let's go Peter.
(Cross and Peter leaves the town.)
King Morghdad: He told you that?
Peter: Yes my lord, he even said that he I'll never bow as long as he his still king.
King Morgdad: This small towns are daring my order. They are stubborn and will not want to obey my order. We are attacking them.
Cross: What?
King Morghdad: You heard me. We are attacking them and taking over each town one after the other. The ones still under Malikos and the ones not under them. We taking over all! Get your men ready Peter.
Peter: Yes my lord.
Cross: But my lord..
King Morghdad: That's my decision Cross. And its final!.
Cross: I have a request to make.
King Morghdad: What is that?
Cross: Can I have some people to stag with me in my chambers. That place is boring.
King Morghdad: Suit yourself. Its your chambers.
Cross: Thanks my lord.
King Morghdad: Prepare for tomorrow. We are attacking Triton first.
Cross: Okay my Lord.
(Cross brings Mike Simius and Jane Into his chambers.)
Mike: This is so nice. You are so lucky Cross.
Cross: Morghdad is making me go against my wish. Since he knew no one could conquer him. He has been so rude and Wicked to other small town.
Jane: That is normal. Every king wants to be feared.
Cross: We are attacking Triton tomorrow.
Jane' What? Why?
Cross: They refused to bow to us.
Mike: Peter told me some hours ago. He told all the knights to prepare.
Cross: I don't want to do this. But I still have a mission to accomplish. I must save Torshin. And Sarah is not dead yet.
Mike: So you will attack poor Triton tomorrow.
Cross: Its against my wish. But I must do.
Simius: That's the effect of power.
Jane: Do anything you want to do fast Cross. Attacking innocent town is not an option.
Cross: I will Jane.
(King Morghdad and Cross conquered all towns by the power of Kanima and the Sorcererlord. All the smart towns bowed. And wallnock became richer as they looted all their belongings and took their children as slave)
King Morghdad: Let's toast to our success. (Everyone raised their cups)
Cross: Its been a successful outing so far. We have conquered six towns out of eight. That's a very impressive record.
Peter: So when are we going for the remaining two. So we can have the whole nation to ourselves.
Cross: It depends in the king.
King Morghdad: We will attack Torshin next!
Cross: Torshin!!!? (Spits his wine)
Peter: Yes, Torshin any problem with that?
Cross: No..no.. Problem
King Morghdad: We will attack Torshin in two days. It should be a very easy battle to win. The town is under Malikos.
Cross: But they have nothing to offer. Why don't we leave them?

Cross: Its okay!!! (Angrily leaves the palace).
Tom: I think he has a problem with Torshin. He doesn't want us to attack them.
King Morghdad: I an king and my decision is final!.
(Cross was so furious)
Mike: Torshin? That's your hometown for Christ sake.
Cross: Yes, why am I doing all this? Is it not to protect Torshin and save them?
Jane: As it stands now. You have to tell them the truth about yourself.
Cross: No, Astandara warned me not to reveal anything to anyone until they discover themselves. Telling then will make me look like I am weak.
Simius: We can't help. King Morghdad is a very stubborn king. He will always do anything he wants. Why don't you go to Astandara for Help.
Mike: That is a very great idea. Go to Astandara for help he is far more experienced.
Cross: Yes, nice idea Simius. I have to leave fast. Wallnock will attack in two days time.
Jane: Be careful Cross.
(Cross picks his horse and rode outside Wallnock)
Guard: Where are you headed?
Cross: Are you mad?. How dare you ask me such question.
Guard: Sorry Cross Sorry.
Cros: Tell anyone who asks after me that I went seeking for something.
Guard: Okay sir!.
(Cross gets to Astandara place within hours)
Cross: Great one! Great one!
Sarah: Wiki wiki waki waki. Surprise Surprise.
Cross: Sarah?
Sarah: Yes its me.
Cross: What are you doing here? Where is Astandara?
Sarah: Which of the questions should I answer first?
Cross: Sarah! Answer me!.
Sarah: When I didn't have magic. It was so hard to enter the forbidden forest. But now that I have one. Its so easy. (Whistles)
(Two hefty men comes out of the house with Astandara to a plank)
Cross: Astandara!!! Sarah what are you doing?
Sarah: I have been here for over a week now. Knowing one day you will come looking for your old man. And fortunately that day is today.
(Cros tries to use magic on Sarah)
Sarah: Don't even try it Cross. You see the necklace around his neck? It just needs the snap of my finger to cut off his head.
Cross: What do you want?
Sarah: What I had always wanted. Freedom. Its simple. Don't let Wallnock attack Malikos. Even if they are bent on attacking stay out of it.
Cross: Wallnock will not attack you. I promise you that.
Sarah: Wallnock will attack. I just font want you yo be involved. Wallnock is nothing without you.
Cross: So be it. Can you release him now.
Sarah: Yes, I will take my leave now. But the necklace will still be around his neck I think he loves it. And please don't try removing it with magic. The more you use magic on it. The more it becomes tighter.
Cross: I have met your demand. Why don't you remove it.
Sarah: Promises can be broken. I will have this here. If you don't keep to your promises. Just a snap of my finger and your beloved old man is gone. Lets go guys.
(Sarah leaves the forest)
Astandara: You have to remove the necklace.
Cross: I can't the more I use magic the more tighter it becomes.
Astandara: You should know she will kill anyway. So don't trust her.
Cross: She is Mane daughter.
Astandara: I can Mane written all over her body.
Cross: How do we save you first.
Astandara: This necklace us enchanted with magical powders. The only way we can remove this is through a talking monkey.
Cross: Talking Monkey?
Astandara: Yes, talking monkey. They go into trance a lot. In this trance that's where they will break the curse on this necklace and magic will be useful. Unfortunately the last talking monkey Fear. Is with Mane.
Cross: (Smiles) Things have changed. I will be back.
Astandara: Where are you going?
Cross: To save your life!

Looking at the creature that suddenly appeared, Jasmine and Ophis were quite surprised by its appearance. They were so focused on Mesa and hoping for him to pull through, that they failed to notice the appearance of the Lich King. After it appeared, Jasmine looked at it and was suddenly struck with fear. 

"What is that thing?! Where did it come from?!" Said Jasmine in distress. 

"Big sis, what is the matter?" Asked Ophis, who was caught off guard by Jasmine's sudden outburst. Pointing her finger at the Lich King, Ophis looked at it and was getting angry herself. Though its power was nothing compared to her own, the feeling that she got from it was not one she liked.

"That thing over there! What is that thing and how did it get here?!" Said Jasmine. 

"Big sis, is that not a devil from this world?" Asked Ophis. 

"I don't know. There shouldn't be any devils left." Said Jasmine. 

Right after this, they saw the Lich King start bringing the dead back to life. After seeing this, Jasmine was certain about one thing. This is not a devil from this world. But the big question remaining was: 'How did it get in this world?'

But seeing as how the Lich King was about to go and kill Xia Qingyue and Mesa, Jasmine decided to ignore the question of how it got here and wanted to go out and help Mesa. 

"Ophis, let's go! That thing wants to kill Mesa! We have to help him!" Said Jasmine hurriedly as she grabbed Ophis and wanted to leave the Sky Poison Pearl. But to her major surprise, she found out that she couldn't exit the Sky Poison Pearl. Wondering what was going on, she suddenly heard Mesa's voice. 

"Didn't I tell you to stay in there Jasmine. I am gonna get that Infinity Stone and I need you to stay in there." Said Mesa as he was getting up. 

"Mesa! You're awake! What happened?" Asked Jasmine. 

"Overexertion. That's what happened. I am using Avalon and Vergil's instant healing powers way more than normal right now to heal myself. And there's no need for you both to worry, I'll take care of that thing." Said Mesa as he walked over to Xia Qingyue and patted her on the head, taking over the fight against the Lich King.

With its light piercing through the skies, Mesa knew that his barrier he'd set up was destroyed. Thus he had very little time to finish this fight, before other people arrived on the scene. Focusing his attention back on the Lich King, he saw him blocking out the light of Excalibur while screaming in pain, but he knew that this would only end up angering him even more than actually damage him. 

Once the light had faded away, the Lich King furiously looked at Mesa and saw the sword shining with a golden light in his hands and spoke angrily in his characteristic echo voice: "YOU! That sword! That is not Ashbringer! Where did you get that sword!"

Holding Excalibur with both hands to his side, Mesa just smiles smugly at the Lich King, which further infuriates his, and proceeds to tell him: "You're right, this isn't Ashbringer. It's far, far worse, for you at least. This sword is Excalibur. The strongest holy sword and the pinnacle of holy swords. For a creature of such dark evil such as yourself, this sword is your worst nightmare, your Achilles heel so to speak."

Infuriated, the Lich King launches himself at Mesa and attacks him with Frostmourne. Mesa, using his Sharingans and his Observation Haki, could just keep up with the Lich King's speed. Using the Power Stone to increase his strength, he meets the Lich King head on. Putting his instant healing factor and Avalon into overdrive to keep the strain from using the Power Stone away, Mesa clashes with the Lich King. Their clash causing the space around them to tremble with massive gust of wind blowing away everything that wasn't bolted to the ground. From a distance, their clash caused both of their aura's to envelop them in a cocoon that were pushing against each other. Mesa aura had a golden shine to it and the Lich King's aura had a crystal blue with black shine to it. 

In the distance, people could feel their clash. They felt the evil darkness of the Lich King and the holy light of Mesa using Excalibur clash against each other. 

Back at the fight. Mesa and the Lich King were pushing against each other with all their might, trying to overpower the other. Swinging their swords against each other with all their might, they fought like wild lions trying to kill each other with everything they had. Every time their swords clashed, the space around them would tremble from their violent clash, massive gales would travel across the land and earthquakes were devastating were felt many, many felt away. After a while, they both were thrown back by the violence of their clash. 

'Goddamn! I knew he was strong, but this is just ridiculous! Even with that instant healing and Avalon working overtime, my body still hurts like hell from having to use so much power from the Power Stone. I'll have to finish this with my next attack. And I know exactly what to do.' Thought Mesa, formulating a plan to end this fight quickly as he got back up on his feet. 

"You! Once I am done with you! I shall torture you, and you will beg for mercy and I will deny you! your anguished cries will be testament to my unbridled power! I will keep you alive until the end and make you watch as I torture and kill everyone you have ever loved in front of you! You will beg for mercy as I make them my slaves and remake the rest of this world into my image!" Yelled the Lich King in rage. 

"How about you stop talking all this bullshit and start showing me that so called 'unbridled power' of yours." Said Mesa mockingly, enraging the Lich King. 

"You insolent wretch! Suffer the pain of a thousand deaths!" Yelled the Lich King.

Next thing he knew, the Lich King had suddenly appeared in front of Mesa, swinging his sword downward. For Mesa, this all happened at a speed he could just barely register with his Sharingans. This proved that during their earlier clash, the Lich King was holding back his powers. As Frostmourne inches closer to Mesa's face, he barely managed to squeeze the Infinity Gauntlet and use the Power Stone to cause a shockwave that blasted the Lich King back. All of this happened in a tiny fraction of a second. If Mesa was just a tiny bit later, he would been hit by the Lich King's attack. 

Blown back, the Lich King quickly got back up and wanted to charge at Mesa again. But to his major surprise, he saw countless golden portals around him. Just as he was wondering what those things were, golden chains start shooting out of those portals and wrapping themselves around him. The golden chains wrapped around his limbs, torso, neck and his weapon, ensuring that he can't move no matter what. Wanting to get rid of these chains, the Lich King desperately struggles to get them off. But to his surprise, no matter how much he tried, it was like his body was completely sapped of its strength. 

"What is this?! What are these chains?!" Bellowed out the Lich King while he desperately struggling against the binding effect of the golden chains, but to no avail. 

In the midst of his desperate struggle, he heard a condescending chuckle. Looking at the source, he saw Mesa standing back up and chuckling at him. Chuckling condescendingly at him, Mesa proceeded to tell the Lich King what happened: "Well, well, well. Looks like you just activated my trap card."

"You filthy worm! What are you talking about?! What are these chains?!" 

"Those chains are called Enkidu: The Chains of Heaven. They are a special type of chain, whose function it is to bind the gods and sap their strength. Seeing as how you are a god-like being, these chains, together with Excalibur truly are the bane of your existence. And now…" Said Mesa as he grabbed Excalibur with both hands and pointed its tip towards him. 

"…it's time to finish this!" With its tip pointed towards the Lich King, Mesa thrusted Excalibur at the Lich King while at the same time charging it with massive amounts of power from the Power Stone, making it to light up in its blinding holy light and calling out its name.

EXCALIBUR!!!!!

Releasing its holy light in a Kamehameha-like beam that travelled for many, many miles, Mesa obliterates the Lich King and wipes out all traces of him from this world. Their battle had ravaged the land around them. All around him, giant holes and massive crevices dotted the landscape. Some holes were filled with mud as underground water seeped to the surface. Knowing that he had no time stay here seeing as how the rest of people who came here with them, would start converging on this spot, he made a quick exit. Opening a another golden portal, but this one much bigger than every other one at this point and brings out Vimana, the flying throne stored within the Gate of Babylon. 

Looking around, he finds Articuno and Xia Qingyue sitting a few miles away behind some rocks, probably as a means to protect themselves from the violent clash between Mesa and the Lich King. Using his String-String Fruit powers, he fashioned two ropes from his hands that he used to wrap around Articuno and Xia Qingyue and pulled them back onto Vimana. And immediately after, Mesa took off into the sky and made sure to get as away from this place as possible while using its optical camouflage to avoid any detection. Not even five minutes later, the first person, Ling Yuefeng, shows up and looks around horrified at the aftermath of Mesa battle with the Lich King.

'What in heaven's name happened here?! What kind of power could have caused all this devastation?! I need to somehow contact the Four Sacred Grounds and tell them about this! They are the only ones who are even remotely capable of investigating this!' Thought Ling Yuefeng to himself in distress looking at the devastation around him and feeling the remnants of the power of the Lich King and Excalibur.  Just thinking about the titans that just fought here made his skin crawl with fear. He knew that, had he gotten here five minutes earlier, he would have been killed in a second without ever being able to fight back.  

Pretty soon, everyone else started showing up. Looking at their faces, it was evident that they were also scared here and wanted to know what happened here. Looking around, Ling Yuefeng saw that everyone that entered the Heaven Secret Basin Realm was present. Everyone except the Burning Heaven Clan group, the Xiao Sect group and the Heavenly Spear Thunderfire Sect group. After explaining everything he knew and gathering the information from what the other groups encountered, Ling Yuefeng was now more determined to have the Four Sacred Grounds investigate what happened here. 

Back in the skies, Mesa and Xia Qingyue were flying through the skies with no one saying a word. After a while, Mesa decided to speak up first: "Well, that was something wasn't it?"

Xia Qingyue turned her head and looked Mesa deeply in the eyes without saying a word for a few minutes, before she opened her mouth: "Mesa, what is really going on? What was that… that THING! That Demonic monster! Nothing you said makes sense! What is really going on here?" 

"….<Deep inhale>…Ohh boy. I knew this would happen sooner or later, but not this soon" Muttered Mesa to himself before he looked at Xia Qingyue and opened his mouth.
