[A group of homeless wizards cleaning all the Dalaran debris with arcane magic. A little girl searching any lost artifact. Suddenly she found a sword made in the Radiant Ore without it's parts. She found part from the Sword made from the Dire Stone. As she picks it up as she turns, suddenly she saw the sword disappeared]

Little Girl: Huh?

[Spectre appears out of nowhere scaring the little girl]

Mercurial: (shows her the sword) Looking for this? 

Helcurt: (blinks in front of the girl) Tremble!

[The Little girl screams and runs. The other wizards sees the little girl being chase by Helcurt and Spectre. The Wizards slows them down by casting arcane missiles. Pitch Black appears and blocks the arcane missiles]

Pitch Black: Those magic of yours are no match.

[Noob Saibot appears behind them and puts them on a brutal killing spree]

Pitch: So this is Dalaran? A place where the wizards live. How come this place was destroyed. (looks at Spectre) What did you found?

Mercurial: I only found a Demon Edge. 

Pitch: A Demon Edge? Interesting. (looks at Noob Saibot) And you?

Noob Saibot: (Shows him Shinnok's Amulet) This will bring you eternal power

Pitch: Sword and the Amulet. Now, Jack Frost's death plunged this timid world... into such terror. 

[Pitch black hands over the Demon Edge from Spectre and Shinnok's Amulet from Noob Saibot as he uses his power to combine it and turn it into a Dark Crystal filled with souls and Summons an Army of dark minions]

Pitch: The Guardians stands, and falls, alone. I've waited too long for the Unity. I know. But you will all feed. And my exile will come to an end. I will take my place among the Guardians. Go forth Black Relic. Our new power will cleanse this world. Fear will be remain.

Rylai: We spoke. He'll be awhile. So this is us? 

Sub-Zero: Yes, this is us.

Lich King: 3 of us. Great. But death will overcome this war. 

Sub-Zero: We all know death overcomes everything. 

Rylai: Not everything. 

[Crystal Maiden shows her the Scarlet Phantom from Sub-Zero]

Sub-Zero: What is this? 

Rylai: Some say it's a Scarlet Phantom. Auroth was attacked inside Mt. Gorod. She told me that this blade is not part of her artifacts, the Not-books. She only found this blade when some unknown creature named Helcurt attacked her. This is why Pitch tries to bring nightmare from the children of icewrack. Helcurt and Spectre allied with him. 

Lich King: (about the Scarlet Phantom) Interesting. Maybe this blade would be useful to the other death knights. 

Sub-Zero: Then let's move. 

— Sydney Harbor Australia —

[Mei, Winston and Soldier 76 are waiting for Sub-Zero, The Lich King and Crystal Maiden to arrive]

Winston: How many of you are there?

Sub-Zero: Not enough. 

Soldier 76: Eight people abducted from world to world. Even here. Here's the potential perp.

[Soldier 76 shows them the child's drawing of a black angel]

Lich King: Malthael. 

Winston: Okay... 

Sub-Zero: Bi-Han must have caught the scent. It seems they're looking for innocent people to take their souls.

Winston: Souls? (gulps and gets nervous) That is really off of our chart. There are 8 innocent people. How would they rip souls? 

Toshiro (arriving) 10. Watashi no shini ga mi mo tora remashita (10. One of my Shinigamis were taken as well.)

Rylai: You made it.

Sub-Zero: So then. There must be a nest nearby.

Soldier 76: We plotted all the sightings in Junkertown and the Black Dragon Warehouse Facility.

Winston: (wondering) Do you really think they can stop this? 

Mei: Don't worry, Winston, they'll take care of it, right guys? 

[Mei turns and they saw Sub-Zero and the Lich King and Toshiro gone. Crystal Maiden remains behind]

Rylai: Wow. They just... They really just vanished. That's rude. (uses blink dagger to blink) 

— Black Dragon Warehouse Facility —

[Sub-Zero, Crystal Maiden, Toshiro and The Lich King enters the Warehouse]

Rylai: This is the Place?

Sub-Zero: Yes. The Black Dragon Facility.

[They hides themselves from Pitch's minions]

Rylai: How did they get in here? 

Sub-Zero: I don't know. This facility was abandoned a years ago during Sonya Blade killed Kano and his counter part.

[The entrance is guarded by Pitch's minions]

Toshiro: Dono yō ni shite jigoku o oikosu koto ga dekimasu ka? (How the hell can we pass these mongrels?) 

Sub-Zero: Wait here. I will deal with those mongrels.

[Sub-Zero sneaks inside and assassinates all of Pitch's minions guarding inside the warehouse. While Sub-Zero continues his pursuit, The Lich King, Crystal Maiden and Toshiro starts to enter the warehouse. Suddenly, Sub-Zero finishes his pursuit and regroup to the others]

Rylai: That was fast.

Sub-Zero: The Lin Kuei assassinates their enemies faster. But we are not ninjas. (stops) Wait.

[Sub-Zero sees Pitch Black and Noob Saibot torturing souls as Mathael claims it. Helcurt grabs another innocent person and brings him to Pitch]

Pitch: What do you know about Jack Frost? 

Victim No.1: I don't know nothing about him! I swear I'm too old to know him! 

Pitch: Just tell me the truth.

Victim No.1: Please, just let us go. I have a family! 

Pitch: Wrong answer. 

[Nocturne stabs the innocent person and Malthael claims another soul to earn]

Pitch: Humans... The stench of your fear is making my soldiers hungry. Shall I feed them?

Victim No.2: Please. We have families.

Pitch: I've already heard that from then and now

[Inaudible. Back to Sub-Zero and the others]

Rylai: What now? 

Sub-Zero: Does any of you know how to infiltrate? 

Toshiro: Shintō suru hōhō o shitte imasu. Shikashi, kore wa anata to issho ni kono basho ni sen'nyū suru no wa hajimetedesu. (I know how to infiltrate. But this is my first time infiltrating this place with you.)

Lich King: The Lich King doesn't infiltrate. I'll do what have to do. 

Sub-Zero: Have it your way. 

Rylai: I'm no thief. I never infiltrate anything. Especially from Auroth's cave. 

Sub-Zero: Save one.

Rylai: One?

Sub-Zero: Save one person.

Rylai: Wait, which one? 

Sub-Zero: Freeze them. Shatter them. Get in. Get one out. 

Rylai: Okay.

[Back to Pitch Black and the others]

Pitch: I know you all have children. After I'm done with you all your children will know the meaning of fear. 

[The Lich King summons an undead army to attack Pitch and the others]

Pitch: So. You were born in fear. A creature of nightmare.

Lich King: Not how I see it. But I'll show you the true meaning of fear. 

Pitch: Give it time.

[Toshiro attacks one of Pitch's minions]

Pitch: Nocturne.

[Nocturne attempts to attack Toshiro. But he took his attention to the Lich King]

Lich King: This one is mine!

[Crystal Maiden taking a deep breath]

Rylai: Okay... Save one. Freeze the enemies.

[Crystal Maiden saves innocent people one by one after freezing one of Pitch's minions]

Rylai: Go. Get out of here. 

[Suddenly Spectre and Malthael confronts Crystal Maiden]

Mercurial: Rylai. I knew you'd come.

Rylai: You overestimate yourself.

Mathael: Child... My blades are still slick with the souls of your people.

[Crystal Maiden fights Spectre and Malthael. Meanwhile The Lich King Fights Helcurt and Nocturne. All of the sudden Sub-Zero reunites with his brother Noob Saibot]

Sub-Zero: So you allied with Pitch to gain new power?

Noob Saibot: Indeed. With Kronika's death I would made my own purpose to darken all the realms.

Sub-Zero: I shall not live in your shadows.

Noob Saibot: Then die in it, brother.

Sub-Zero: It will not survive the cold.

[Sub-Zero fights Noob Saibot again; Sub-Zero wins again]

Sub-Zero: The Netherrealm can have you.

Noob Saibot: It also has your friend, Smoke.

Sub-Zero: Do not speak of my friends.

[Sub-Zero tackles Noob Saibot through the wall as they falls down to the underground. Meanwhile Lich King still fighting Helcurt and Nocturne]

Helcurt: I am death incarnate! 

[Helcurt blinks everywhere and any multiple attack to the Lich King by blinking everywhere. Suddenly He grabs Helcurt in the air and throwing him to the ground, with his hand around his neck]

Lich King: Insect!

[The Lich King attempts to stab Helcurt. But suddenly Nocturne points his right blade to stop him from killing Helcurt]

Nocturne: Ancient was our kind when this world began.

Lich King: I'm afraid my condition has left me cold to your pleas of mercy.

[Nocturne grabs the Lich King and throws him to the underground]

Rylai: Sub-Zero, Arthas. 

[Mei arrives with backup]

Mei: Hi. 

Sub-Zero: I knew you arrived in time, Mei.

[Pitch and his allies confronts Sub-Zero and his allies and turns his attention to Crystal Maiden]

Pitch: So... You have the blood of the Snow Queen in you. Such power.

[Crystal Maiden cast crystal nova to splash Pitch and his allies. Nocturne blocks it and cast paranoia on Crystal Maiden]

Mei: Look out.

[Mei pushes Crystal Maiden away from Nocturne's paranoia suddenly her right arm sliced and wounded]

Rylai: Mei! 

[Malthael attempts to grab Mei. She attempts to freeze him with her endothermic blaster. Malthael blocks the blast then grabs Mei]

Toshiro: Īe, shimasen! (No you don't!) 

[Toshiro releases his Zanpakuto to save Mei from Malthael]

Mei: Xièxiè. (Thank you.) 

[Sub-Zero found one of Kano's weapon and fires them against Pitch and his allies. Suddenly Malthael slice the first missiles them Nocturne grabs the other]

Pitch: Primitive beings. For 300 years technology still means nothing to me.

[Nocturne drops the missile at the left side of the wall and explodes then they vanished]

Mei: What are we under right now?

Sub-Zero: Black Dragon Harbor. 

[After the vanish and explosion, the underground floods]

Rylai: We have to move. 

Sub-Zero: Go. I will deal with this. 

[Crystal Maiden and the others escapes, Sub-Zero decided to stay to block the flood. Suddenly Elsa arrived with Nokk, the Water Spirit. Together they block the flood. Then Sub-Zero stops including Elsa]

Sub-Zero: The flood will not hold on much longer. We have to move.

[Sub-Zero jumps higher to escape as Elsa is being lifted by Gale, the Wind Spirit. She made her escape. But Sub-Zero jumps then Elsa grabs his hand. He sees the ice wall destroyed by the flood. Then they escaped the Black Dragon Warehouse]

Sub-Zero: Is everyone alright?

[Crystal Maiden and the others sees Elsa arrived in her new dress]

Sub-Zero: Elsa, why are you here? 

Elsa: I heard that Pitch Black has come for revenge with new allies 

Rylai: He is. 

Sub-Zero: That is why we're tracking them.

Mei: Wow. You look beautiful. What happened to you?

Elsa: Well. I found who I am. Maybe I could find out who you people are.

Sub-Zero: We have no time for discoveries 

[Sub-Zero walks out but Elsa stops him]

Elsa: You can't beat Pitch Black, Sub-Zero. 

Sub-Zero: Pitch is not my priority to settle the score. We're only tracking Pitch because my brother would do something worse after he allied with Kronika. 

Elsa: You said it yourself. Not enough. There's still time. Please, come with me to the Enchanted forest. I wanna know who you truly are, Kuai Liang. 

[Sub-Zero, Crystal Maiden, Toshiro and the Lich King hears the secret siren including Elsa]

Sub-Zero: Take us to that voice.

According to the original plan, the secret passage of the Falcacio Castle was supposed to be blown up. 

The reason why the secret passage had to be blown up was simple. 

The existence of the secret passage was nothing more than a cheat.

The Falcacio Castle was the final content of the episode. It had numerous defense forces built up in it, and while passing through the secret passage more than half of them would turn invalid. 

On the contrary, what would one think of the current situation where the secret passage exploded?

"The game broke… Damn it…"

Muttered Na Ji-chan bitterly while taking a sip of his tea. 

He really did support Ian, but he didn't realize that he would find such an answer. 

"That really is a way that not many would find."

Seeing Ian who just placed the overlapping portal made for the Asmodian users made Na Ji-chan thought that Ian might escape the trap. 

But he didn't assume that he would opt for such an answer.

Na Ji-chan simply didn't understand how he could possibly stop the collapse of the secret passage. 

It might not look like a huge difference at first glance, but it definitely made a huge difference to the game. 

If Ian would have chosen to attack the Falcacio Castle after escaping from the dungeon, he would have to start outwards, but now he prevented the collapse of the secret passage to enter the castle. 

"All that is left now… is just the Lich King, right?"

Of course, even before reaching the Lich King, powerful middle bosses of level 400 and above were lined up. 

However, with Ian and Shakran at the forefront, there was no way they could be stopped. 

The expedition would literally be able to break into the center and meet the Lich King by the end of the day. 

"I need to take a breather. I'll watch the broadcast again after 5 hours. By then, they will be faced with the Lich King already."

Na Ji-chan turned off the TV and entered his room while yawning.

Ian and the expedition users controlled the explosion by the dark crystal and quickly broke through the end of the secret passage. 

It was mostly due to the expedition users, but the other reasons were important too. 

Most of the monsters that existed back at the dungeon were high-leveled monsters, and after the Chaos Gate was destroyed, 30% of the combat abilities had been debuffed. 

It was a situation where the term 'abuse' could be used.

"Kya, this is like a bonus stay!"

"Can they get this weak all due to the debuff?"

"I don't know about the exact coefficient, but I think they have been nerfed at least 40%."

Even with the debuff on the monsters, their rewards and drops weren't debuffed, so the users began to throw themselves at the monsters. 

The average level of the users was around 400, and the monsters were nerfed which made them seem like level 300, so that scene was a literal massacre. 

And of course, the two most prominent ones among them were Ian and Shakran.

Ian was constantly wielding his Judgment of the Spirit King and kept cutting down the monsters of Devildom that were in front of him. 

But even in such a perfectly presented situation, Ian was feeling disappointed. 

'Shit, if only I had more time, I could've swept it all away…'

The first dungeon in the war for Ian and the expedition was the 'Underground Prison' of Falcacio. 

That meant that the first dungeon was still going on. 

Overlapping in the bonus stage, it was the best hunting ground to catch. 

It was very good in terms of the rewards and the experience. 

However, Ian didn't have time to go behind them. 

He didn't realize what kind of situation would come while spending a minute or even a second while hunting.

The clever strategy to get over the pitfalls safely, but the time limit was limited. However, they couldn't hold on to the ground as they had to get hold of the Lich King because of the quest. 

Ian was constantly giving out orders and only focused on breaking through the dungeon as quickly as possible. 

"Ceilron, Meran, please continue to cover Shakran at the back, and if one of you are dealers, please focus your support at the center!"

And there were few others like Emily who were questioning the orders of Ian. 

"Ian, why don't we take care of them one after the other? Due to the debuff, the monsters are very week, anyway."

However, Ian touched his hair and responded, 

"No. We can't slow down yet. In this dungeon, we never know what kind of trap would ever appear again."

"Aren't you agonizing too much about it?"

"The experiences are a bit of a waste, even then I think we need to get out of this dungeon as fast as possible."

"Nice. It does make sense. I'll let you go ahead."

After convincing them, Ian turned away his head. Ian quickly managed to clear the second half of the dungeon.

At last, the dungeon clear message came in front of the expedition users. 

"Kya! We did it!"

"We finally came through the dungeon!"

"Kuu, if it wasn't for Ian, we would have been watching the other part of the game on the TV."

Thrilled voice of the expedition users could be heard everywhere.

"Good work, kid. I can't help but admire your effort today."

Even the proud Shakran was praising Ian. 

"Haha, welcome."

However, Ian didn't forget to stimulate Shakran. 

Until he defeated the Lich King, he had to use Shakran's ability to the fullest. 

"Since I have shown this much, could you still keep up, uncle?"

And Shakran followed those well. 

"Huhu, kid, no need to worry. From here on, I'll show you the strength of the Titan Guild."

Listening to the rant from Shakran, Ian couldn't help but smile.

'Uncle, show a little more strength. If I get some hidden dual or something, I'll give you some congo.'

Expedition users were checking the rewards for a while, they checked their statuses and were making loud noises. 

However, the hustle and bustle didn't last for long.

Less than a minute after the dungeon clear message came, bizarre sounds came from the iron gate that was blocking the end of the dungeon. 

Kikkkik- Kuk-!

An unpleasantly irritating voice came from the rusty metal bars.

However, it wasn't so bad for Ian. 

The iron door began to open with a creaking sound. 

Kukung-! 

And between the opening of the iron gate, a white light began to pour in. 

It was the view of the castle that had white snow in the background. After seeing that, Ian's eyes went wide. 

'Done…!'

He was finally successful in entering the Falcacio Castle.

A bizarre fort that rose high. 

The highest level. 

At the center of the room was the ceiling that was so high that it was hard to see, and a huge throne that was three times the normal size. 

And the owner of the throne was the King of Dead, Lich King, Chalian. 

"You did well, son Asmodian."

"Thank you, Lord Chalian. I just did my best."

Sitting on the large throne was the Lich King, Chalian who was talking to an Asmodian who was knelt in front of him.

And of course, he was Limlong who had escaped from the secret passage using the dark portal.

But the interesting thing was that Chalian and Limlong didn't know that the expedition users weren't wiped out. 

"You have done it, surely?"

"Yes, King of Dead. I confirmed the swelling of the dark crystal."

"Kul kul, you should have done that. The dark crystals aren't things that humans can stop."

Chalian had a satisfied expression. He laughed in a peculiar manner while moving his shoulders. 

Chalian was happy because they were convinced that the expedition users were wiped out. 

It was because of the system message that Limlong had received that said that his quest that Chalian gave him was a success.

The quest which Limlong had received from Chalian was to blow up the secret passage with the dark crystals, and the quest was deemed successful since the crystals did explode. 

The words of the Lich King continued, 

"If the explosion succeeded, the insignificant humans would have been severely damaged for sure."

Limlong tried to picture the image of Ian and Shakran buried in the explosion. 

"Yes, King, even the best warriors of the humans were in that group, and now the humans won't be able to get here."

"Surely. Kulkul, humans indeed are foolish beings."

Chalian and Limlong were happy for the killings that they did. 

Limlong was happy with the idea that he had successfully destroyed the humans, and it was the same for Chalian.

In addition, Limlong would have his congo increased because his affinity with Chalian increased, so it was natural for the conversation between them to continue. 

"But, are you the only Asmodian who survived from the Devildom?"

"Yes, King. However, don't worry. Until I get by to the world of Devildom, I swear to do well."

"Yeah, well. I believe you."

Every time his conversation with the Lich King got extended, Limlong couldn't help but smile because of how much his affinity with the Lich King had been rising. 

'Huhu, by now you would've gone out of the game humans. You probably are wiping your feet, right?'

Even though it was just a thought, it was enough to make Limlong smile. 

However, he didn't know the truth. 

His continued conversation with the Lich King to increase his affinity was actually helping the human users get closer. 

The long dialogue exchange between Limlong and the Lich King was turning into a distraction. 

'Lotus and Titan are wiped out. Will it take them at least two days to get in here? Isn't it too bad to log out like this… to go out in front of the king?'

Limlong was firmly convinced that the expedition users and Ian had died, which made it harder for him to think of any alternative.

Another weeb item, I'm beginning to understand the theme of this floor a little bit if there were weeb adventurers they would be ravaging this floor.

Many small little treants and nature spirits try to attack me but quickly flee the most interesting enemy Is a fairy but has razor teeth and green skin with grotesquely bent arms and legs with long curling claws wich the system calls [Daedra]
I wonder if the friendly fairies like Tinker bell or something similar exist or if they are just ravenous monsters of the deep, from what I can tell most monsters are generic fantasy monsters or are from some type of variation of a beast from different mythologies such as norse and greek and sometimes a hybrid like the Daedra.
If there are norse monsters I hope that I dont run into something like the world serpent (Jorumundgandr)
that would be my end in seconds but maybe there are peaceable beasts and gods like Mimir and Freya or everything might be hostile in this world who knows?
I haven't leveled up in awhile so I'm at a bit of a stop until I find stronger enemies, I'm not op I'm just too strong for this area except that turtle bastard!
I will have my revenge!

I wander through the depths of the horrid marsh and find nothing of worth except a few corpses and golden coins that for now have no worth.
The mud is getting rougher to maneuver around in wich could cause some unwanted situations.

I come upon a clearing and make my way into it.
I hope it's not another floor gate.
  what lies in the clearing is a decently sized Mayan esc temple with the little box at the top and the long linear steps up.
What is different though is the greek like symbols on the empty walls of the temple they are very uninspired and are generic at best (like this novel).
I aproach but before I can a 7ft tall undead rises from the ground it has very spartan esc armor and a very familiar greek round shield and spear.

um, I think I can do this time to pull a pro gamer move!
I pick a bit of old dirt and throw it at Leonidas's eyes it screeches out in pain I unsheath my sword and charge at it piercing its pelvis causing its health to drop a third, I quickly pull my sword out of him and dance around to the back of him but he recovers quickly from the shock of the blow and thrusts his shield out bashing me in the forehead.
I get sent flying back and my hp drops almost to zero!
 Shit this isnt good my total level is pretty high when you dont count evolution resets but this guy is an absolute beast even when I used pocket sand sama!
Before I can grasp my cracked ribs Leonidas holds his upwards to the air and the tip of his spear begins gathering lightning at its tip before it becomes completely encircled by the omnipotent lighting from the sky and he then holds his spear like a javelin and readies his stance pointing towards me he smirks with a hollowed face and sunken eyes.
I quickly think of something and an idea pops in my head!
  I pull off my cloak wich is covered in mud and water and throw it at Leonidas, he chuckled at my futile attempt but the smirk turns into agony as the electricity feeds into the water of the cloak and takes his whole body he drops his spear as his HP drops and he collapses onto his knees steaming with a sliver of HP left I limp over to him and kick him down onto the ground.
Before I end The legendary King Leonidas I say my last words to him.
"Stay dead this time."
The Undead eyes turn into slits as he accepts  his fate wholeheardately and my sword pierces his throat spraying  thick black blood on me.

Hmmm, I guess Leonidas was probably glad to be felled after being tortured with immortality for so many years, lets not tread on my thoughts for I might actually have felt bad for a long while by killing him under handedly.

 "No, we're good, we had fun watching this spar but we would not like to exhaust you before this event starts," Spoke the White Ghost saving everyone else the awkwardness of a battle against the Lich that brought down one of the game's strongest players with an utmost ease.
The lich in question smiled, "It is understandable, though we undead do not tire, or exhaust, we understand what you wish for. Then, shall we move to the main hall?"
White Ghost didn't miss the underlying scorn, but he didn't dare rebut the lich, he, who was the only one among the players that could possibly kill the Lich was stripped out of his prows, which would mean utter and complete humiliation to anyone daring to fight the lich. Even Warlord will find himself at a disadvantage, his Legacy enabled him to shine in the battlefield, against many opponents, and not a single NPC in a spar, he would be destroyed with ease if the Lich used the same combo again.
"Please lead the way," White Ghost said.
Du'Rhaza clapped his hands, teleporting all the players to the Bone Palace entrance, they were all being led by the death knights that were standing at the gate. There was no way for any of the players to sneak out of the encirclement to spy on the city's fortifications but from within the walls of the Undead City, they had seen what would make anyone's skin crawl.
Undead, not just regular tiered ones, but Death Knights and Doom Knights, standing on the rooftops, on the streets, and even on the walls of the Bone Palace, all gazing at them with unflinching, uncaring and pitiless eyes.
The players, against all their better judgment, felt like they were sheep being led to the slaughterhouse, and they had no say in it.
Once they arrived at the palace's main entrance, a chorus of sounds, music, unholy, loud, and blood pumping blasted from horns and drums that sounded through the whole of the city.
A voice spoke up, loud and clear for all to hear, even sounded higher than the beating of the blood shivering music.
"Leaders of the World of Conquest have arrived! Welcome to his Majesty, The Undead King's abode.
The players moved slowly up the spiraling stairs where many Undead waited in still attention. They all had their palms on the pummels of their swords.
Once the players reached the top of the tower and were in the King's Hall, they noticed the presence of many others at the side of the king.
Bar the six Abyssal Knights, who were forever present by the King's side, and at his command, Dagla was nowhere to be seen.
The Ice Queen, ruler of frost stood along with her companion Jura. The Elven King, one of the rarest NPCs to see in the world of Conquest, and presumably the mightiest of the Overworld dwellers.
Omen, The Hand of the Lords, a mighty half deity, who was able to single-handedly stop every adventurer from Conquest to obtain an ancient relic belonging to the God of the Night Nox. The Relic was presumed to be an S class legacy Item that could release the quest for the Night God Nox. But due to how powerful Jura was, no player was able to best him in a one versus one.
Balaam, the Oracle, the one who was responsible for the protection of one of the world's pillars. The mountain of Glory, that would hold the world of Conquest from submitting to chaos, and protecting I from external dangers as told in books. Balaam was not just a simple Oracle; he was a powerful entity on his own. Many tried to fight him and see what powers he had, and what forces he was prevented from entering the game world. But none managed to do so, and the Mountain of Glory remains standing to this day.
Lords and ladies of the World of Conquest, known by their neutral stand regarding the forces of the Undead have all been invited, some were dukes and counts belonging to the different kingdoms of the world of Conquest, and some were rogue powerful entities that accepted the King's Invitation.
The Undead King was sitting on his throne, a hand supporting his chin, and the other holding the skull on the armrest. Once the players entered the room, all eyes turned to them, for a fraction of a second then returned to where they were the first time. Speaking to each other, not caring for the presence of such people.
Perhaps the King's Invitation had exactly such a purpose, Warlord and Wan Yi, the hotheads of the group were the first to understand and be offended, but they were soon calmed down by their right hands. The rest didn't care, they wanted to see what was going to happen now.
Yet the final and most important character of the game was not present at all.
"Where is he?" asked Wan Yi.
"Who?"
"Skelly, I don't see him, isn't he supposed to be here, I mean this whole thing is about his coronation and stuff."
"You should know, that in these events the main character always enters last. He should be here any moment now, and this event will end and we will get our EXP and rewards for attending." Warlord spoke while having both hands folded in front of him.
"I bet he's trying to take one of the temples down while we're all gathered here." The guild leader of Arkadia spoke.
"I doubt it, at least for my region, I placed more than two thousand players to guard the entrance of the Ash King's temple." Zhang Shi spoke.
"Just two thousand?" the voice of a seductive beauty spoke through the hall.
It was no wonder that all these entities that were present in the hall could easily hear what the players were talking about.
"Do you think two thousand are enough to stop Kis'Shtiengbrah?" she added.
"Shit, it's her." Zhang Shi uttered.
"Oh, if it isn't you, who dared harm his majesty, Lord Kis'Shtiengbrah, how fortunate it is to see you here," Lilith Spoke in a cold tone enough to send shivers down the spine of a cold-blooded snake.
Zhang Shi backed up, his hand on his sword and ready to battle.
"Fret not, we are obliged by the Knight's code of honor, we do not attack our guests. Unless the guest is acting in a manner unbefitting of their status."
"Chill dude," Valentine said, "She's yanking on your chains, don't let her rattle you. They're all looking for an excuse to kill us, don't give them that."
"Smart man, still, you have not answered me, Follower of the Blood God. Do you believe two thousand are enough to stop the might of lord prince Kis'Shtiengbrah?"
"Yes. He could be strong, but the fortification I have in my kingdom is more than enough to stop even your undead army." Zhang Shi proudly declared.
"Is that so, then perhaps you shall be surprised," Lilith smiled.
Zhang Shi frowned, he immediately called his HQ and requested an immediate briefing and detailed report on what is happening under the cathedral that hosted the Ash King's temple.
The response came immediately, nothing was going on, and everything was perfectly good. No one trespassed into their kingdom and the players inside the dungeon haven't reported anything out of the ordinary.
Having been calmed by the good news, Zhang Shi smiled back at the vampire and said, "As I said, he can't do shit to my turf."
Not a second passed, a notification popped up in front of the players.
Conquest Server Announcement!
Player Kis'Shtiengbrah had successfully thwarted the plans of the Ash-King to offer players of the Northern Kingdom his Demonic Powers.
Currently, the Ash King's Northern Demonic Temple is no longer active!
"Bloody hell???" Zhang Shi blurted the words, unbelieving his eyes or ears.
Lilith's smirk only served to add more salt to his fresh wound as he called the HQ immediately.
"What the fuck is going on?!"
"Sir, we don't know, everything is perfectly fine, even the chalice, it's right here, that notification must be faulty!"
"Get Albert to explain!"
A few seconds later, the same player called Zhang Shi, speaking words that made him speechless.
"What's going on?" White Ghost barely managed to hold the scorn and ask a question properly.
"Albert says nothing is wrong with the server notification and he did take the chalice. But I don't understand if he did, why is it still in its place?" Zhang Shi asked.
"Do you have a player that could share a live feed from the temple?"
Zhang Shi hesitated at replying, but White Ghost said, "Dude, your temple is already ruined, there is no need for me to care or give a damn about what kind of stuff you have there, once Skelly took the chalice, all of that is useless, share the feed, I could probably see what went wrong."
Zhang Shi had to trust what conquest community called the mightiest strategist of the game had to say, perhaps he could see more than what Zhang Shi could, and even if he saw the traps and other surprises he had there, that wouldn't mean much anymore.
Zhang Shi shared the feed, and like what the player had just said, everything was intact, even the chalice was in its place.
However, White Ghost still frowned as he was checking the feed.
"Tell the player to look closely at the lava, something doesn't add up."
Zhang Shi did as asked and once the player focused on the magma, White Ghost smiled and said, "You better call your players and have them leave the area fast. Otherwise, they'll start dying."
"Why, what's going on?" Zhang Shi asked.
"The Lava current, on the far side of the lake, it's moving faster than near the bridge. They're in an illusion, all of that is fake. And if what happened in the first of Skelly's attacks on the chalice, a Sworn Stalwart might be there, your call."
Zhang Shi took a shocked breath and shouted orders for the players to cast Vows of Silence, a skill that could disable all the magic in an area.
Almost immediately after one of the players cast the spell, the whole of the cave morphed and changed to its actual current status, the chalice was no longer there, and an enormous Stalwart was Standing right in front of the player filming the whole thing.
The illusion was so strong that the player had not even noticed that his HP had drained to the critical level from just the Sworn Stalwart's presence in the vicinity.
Chaos unfurled as the Stalwart finally began its massacre.
Zhang Shi stopped the feed, saving himself further embarrassment.
Lilith didn't even need to speak, she didn't have to, Zhang Shi had been humiliated enough for one day.
Without a notice, two undead walked through the hall's entrance.
"Hey, supp everyone," Dave spoke in a cheerful voice, next to him was Dagla.
"You're a slave driver lord prince," Dagla was shaking his head.
"Well, you said the favor was too much, so…"
"Yes, yes, but I haven't cast an illusion such as that one in a long time," Dagla replied.
The two were smiling without a care in the world.
"Childe, I see you come with yet another successful raid upon the Ash King's dominion.
"Yeah, he's really bad at guarding his thingies. Oh, hey guys, you're all here," Dave said addressing the guildies.
"Sorry Zhang Shi, but honestly man, you should really level up your trapping techniques, a child would have seen through those, man."
Zhang Shi was about to go on a murder rampage, but it was clear to everyone that that was not going to happen, and if it did, it was nothing short than a suicide with all these powerful entities present right now.
"Lord, I have come to you with a great present," Dagla said.
"Well, speak, what is it that you wish to gift this King?"
Dagla smiled then clapped his hands.
Right after the hand clap, the sound of a vicious, thundering dragon roared in the skies above the Undead Realm.
The undead king waved a hand, causing the entire roof of the King's Hall to disappear or become see-through, Dave couldn't tell which at the time.
Right under the shine of the broken moon, the silhouette of a bone dragon flew across the sky.
The Bone Dragon, fully intact and vicious in nature roared continuously then it parched on one of the walls of the Undead City.
"A wonderful gift indeed, but, We have yet to know of the death of another Dragon but the one Our Childe had slain lately, is this the body of another dragon?"
"No, your majesty, in fact," Dagla hesitated then said, "This is the dragon that Lord Kis'Shtiengbrah had slain himself, but he asked me to reanimate it and gift it to you, as a payment for a favor I have given him."
"What was the favor?" the king asked.
"It was my personal aid in controlling the cities of Qin and aiding Kis'Shtiengbrah with some minor matters," Dagla said.
The undead king nodded and turned to Dave, "You have done well by repaying what you are owed, but I believe that a dragon as a gift is too much to repay a favor as small as that one, don't you believe so, Dagla."
"I have said the same."
"Very well, then I shall repay your kindness both, Dagla, you may enter the royal treasury, take whatever you wish as your reward."
"May I take the Lifeless Drops?"
"Indeed, you may."
The Undead King then turned to Dave and said. "As for you Childe, I have nothing in my treasury that could be worth your time. Weapons and armor, you have better than all I have in there, gold is meaningless, and terrain, you have of as much as one king can rule by themselves. So, what should your award be?" the Undead King said.
"I need nothing, all I want I have already obtained, and if I need anything else I'll get it with my own hands."
"Spoken like a true Undead, yet it shall not satisfy Us to appear miserly in front of Our audience." The Undead King stood up.
"Then here ye, from here onwards, the Undead Prince, Kis'Shtiengbrah shall have a one-time command over my army. All of the Undead Army. You may lead it to burn and pillage or petty vengeance, all is forgiven and all shall be overlooked."
The Undead King's words fell heavy on everyone's ears, not even Dave could believe it…

Morning came slowly for Jack and his small party. They stayed at a simple inn to avoid any unwanted attention. As the sun rose, they were already on the streets searching for a caravan to join.
It wasn't hard to find a merchant willing to give them passage for a fee. Considering that Keela was pretending to be gravely ill to cover her face, it was quite a sum that they had to pay, but it was part of the plan.
The merchant offered to lower it if Rydel took a role as a guard, but he was too worried about his sick daughter to handle guard duty.
All three were cooped up in a covered wagon together with bundles of merchandise. In an hour, they would have crossed the Zuran-Reinolt border and be able to fly the rest of the way.
With their change of plans, they were cutting it very close to their deadline.
Sadly, other than by Rydel's roc, there was no other way for people from Reinolt City to reach the border, if not, then Zariff and Maynard would have rushed there overnight. Instead, the three of them would have to hope for the best.
Jack had started to wonder what else might go wrong. If he could prevent such issues from happening, then he'd be able to change his fate and Slivia's.
"Jack, calm down already. If we make it, then we'll make it. If not, you said you were already aware of our chance of failure," stated Rydel in a hushed tone. They made sure to speak quietly while in the caravan.
Not satisfied with his chances, Jack ignored Rydel and kept trying to think of possible ways to speed up the journey.
"Umm, are you okay, Jack?" asked Keela. It was easy for her to sense that Jack didn't have the calm and confident attitude he showed in the catacomb.
"I'm fine, I just wish that we could go faster." Not wanting to talk, Jack leaned back and closed his eyes.
Rydel and Keela both started to worry about him, but they couldn't do anything. So, in the meantime, Keela and Rydel talked about everything that was happening in the Reinolt Kingdom.
Also, Rydel started to explain what the Adventurers Association was and what it stood for. Since Keela was raised in the Zuran Empire, she had only heard about the Adventurers Association from passing stories. Now that she would be officially joining Jack's party, it was important for her to become an association member and learn about her future role in the team.
Keela was lv. 27, but Jack was able to overpower because she was a pure cleric and could only cast healing spells. Of course, she was extremely talented at those and was a perfect fit in their party dynamic.
'Jack, calm down.' Bowzer popped out of Jack's cloak and started rubbing his soft fur all over Jack.
'I'm fine Bowzer, why don't you play with Keela. She still has to get used to you, okay?'
The fox pup frowned but he nodded. 'Okay.'
As Bowzer crawled into Keela's arms and let her pet his fur, Jack was trying to find ways to distract himself.
Then he remembered about all the loot from Ponlinne's tomb. Not wanting to whip out valuable items in such a place, he went to his skill list first and purchased Eagle Eye. It was too good a skill to pass up.
Then he went to his achievement list and claimed his latest reward.
[When everyone knows your name, but not your face: claimed]
[Because well-known in a country using your real name but not your face. Reward: 20 skill points.]
After buying Eagle Eye, Jack was left with thirty-five skill points, which he decided to save for a rainy day.
Next, Jack inspected Ponlinne's activity log. Since he had more time to kill than he wanted, he figured that he might as well use it.
First, Jack confirmed that Ponlinne had managed to reach lv. 87. It was true! Jack had no clue how considering the level cap in "A Hero's Tale," but it had happened.
Second, Jack started inspecting the activity log for everything involving the catacomb. Like he had guessed, it was the same ancient crypt that Jack had visited in-game. However, according to Ponlinne, it had changed.
The crypt that Jack knew was for low-level grinding where the lower you went, the stronger the undead. It ranged from lv. 15 to lv. 35.
Ponlinne, in some diary entries, mentioned that the crypt had started to change after the Holy War ended. It had started to spawn monsters of all levels, but only in accordance with whoever was inside the crypt.
He had sent a party of lv. 20's inside and they returned after facing creatures as strong as lv. 29. Yet, whenever Ponlinne entered, he had to face lv. 80's and had once seen a lv. 88 creature before he ran away.
Jack had guessed that Ponlinne stayed near that crypt to try and grind to level up. If there was a new patch or expansion that raised the level cap, then that would explain why Ponlinne made his home there. Where else would a cleric be able to solo grind other than facing strong undead creatures?
Checking information about his death, Jack discovered that Ponlinne had died against a lv. 89 lich king. Though Ponlinne was a powerful wielder of holy magic, the lich king was too much and caused his death.
Ponlinne had even tried to run away from the battle, but the lich king made it impossible. The moment the lich king had caught him in its sights, it chased Ponlinne until he was dead.
"That's one way to go. At least he was still only a player at the time." 
Jack started to think about what he would've done if he were stuck in a place like that. It wouldn't be easy, but Jack thought he would at least enjoy the thrill while he could.
Also, Jack wondered what had caused the crypt to change. Ponlinne had tried to investigate, but he wasn't successful. He did, however, discover some rather interesting information about the crypt.
Depending on who was inside the crypt, the layout would change. The higher someone's level was, the deeper the crypt went. According to Ponlinne, the lich king was the final monster at the very bottom of the crypt. Behind the lich king's tomb, there were closed doors. Had Ponlinne succeded, he thought those doors would open to reveal the real secrets of the crypt. Sadly, he failed against the final monster, even with his holy magic being super effective against undead.
Just then, a distant shout rang out. "Halt!"
The wagon came to a gradual stop and the sounds of horses trotting also stopped. Against Jack's wishes, the entire caravan had stopped.
Unhappy with the sudden development, Jack grunted and exited the wagon in search of the merchant.
"Excuse me, but what's going on?" asked Jack.
The merchant shrugged, "Nothing, the border patrol is just backed up. Apparently they're being extra cautious today, something about a noblewoman being kidnapped by a middle-aged man on a bird. Seriously, these stories just keep getting weirder and weirder.
"Tell me about it," sighed Jack. "Any idea how long it'll be?"
"There's a huge pile-up, so we'll probably be adding at least another half a day to our trip, maybe even a full day. I'm sorry for the inconvenience."
Squinting at the many wagons ahead of them in line, Jack shrugged his shoulders and hid his anger. "I guess that's just the way it is. Hopefully, this will blow over quickly. Thank you."
He walked back to the wagon and informed Rydel and Keela of the news.
"Wow, this makes things more difficult. We should be fine, but it'll definitely take longer." Suddenly, Rydel looked more concerned. "Jack, you know what this means, right?"
Jack didn't respond, but both Rydel and Jack could see the pain in his eyes.
"Everything's going to be okay, Jack, really. It's just going to take some more time, that's all." Keela did her best to try and comfort Jack. Little did she know, she made it worse.
Seeing Jack like that, Rydel added, "Hey Jack, don't try anything funny, no matter what! If we're caught, they have plenty of people over lv. 30. Even with your fox, there's no guarantee that we could escape through a fight. And don't try and blame her either, This would've happened either way, and you know that deep down."
Not wanting to accept reality, Jack's eyes started to water. With all his heart, he wanted so much to dash out and force his way into Reinolt, but Rydel was right. 
There was no chance of them breaking through the border with only those him, Rydel, and Bowzer attacking. Plus, they would have to protect Keela, which would be next to impossible. 
The Zuran Empire was an ancient empire that had survived for a long time. Though the Zuran Empire was being held off thanks to a powerful expert in Reinolt, the empire's overall strength was head and shoulders higher above Reinolt's. All the guard captains were at least lv. 30 and they could never guess how many lv. 30's they would have to face to breach the border.
Against all of Jack's hopes, wishes, and plans, he was forced to quietly wait in a wagon for his chance to peacefully cross the border, effectively failing to save Slivia.

“Are you scared of going in the mine? There will be lots of goblins.” Jack was curious to see how brave the little fox could be.

“Me no scared!” With his chest puffed out, the fox pup tried his best to appear intimidating but despite his efforts, Bowzer was even more adorable when he did this.

Jack was known as "The Achievement Junkie" in the world's largest MMORPG and worked hard to earn an unlikely quest. He was given the chance to fulfill his dreams as an isekai hero, and enter the world he had come to love. Dreidus lowered his head slightly as he continued, "I think it is time to give Lyra a proper floor to guard but I would appreciate if Lyra herself could stay away from fights and stay in the background. It is not that she is scared to fight but she is still relatively low leveled, and she probably won't survive if a group of barbarians attacked her."

Five suspiciously looked at Dreidus and then turned his attention toward Lyra. The Banshee Queen quietly shifted her body, just enough to hide her face behind Dreidus' head. Five was not clueless about what Dreidus wanted but he was worried about the state of the dungeon. It was true that the death knights were much stronger than the zombies and Dreidus' plan made sense. However, his plan also clearly displayed favoritism toward Lyra. Was corruption already appearing in his dungeon while it was still in its initial stage?

"mmm. Give me more details about it. I agree that the banshees need a floor to guard but creating an entire floor might be a little expensive at the moment. We only have 100000 DP and considering that many barbarians suddenly stopped coming there..." said Five.

"Of course, this is just an idea, but I would like to create a floor that looks like a forest. The settings will be similar to a haunted forest with Treants mixed among the decorative trees we'll put. The banshees will be the main monsters, but we'll also add some ghouls. Ghouls exists into two forms but for that floor, it would be better to use the one where they have a physical body; they are quite fast and can easily hide in an environment like a forest. I believe that the banshees can already deal enough magic damage while the treants could serve as tanks for them. Also, a forest is a good floor to put some herbs that the adventurers can collect."

Dreidus explained the details of the floor while keeping an eye on Five. He purposely avoided Lyra's topic and hoped that Five would agree. However, it was precisely what Five pointed out:

"It is a good idea, I can agree to this. But there's something that have been missing from our dungeon. We don't have a single boss monster that defend the floor. A dungeon needs some milestones and the best way to represent them is to use boss monsters. We have you and Lyra but none of you will be fighting if we follow that plan. Truthfully, I was planning to put Lyra as the 5th floor's boss." 

Dreidus lightly coughed in embarrassment. "I understand that, but it would honestly be beneficial for the dungeon if we do not use the boss monsters on those floors and only use them as last resort if the dungeon core is threatened. I am not saying that just to protect my own life or Lyra's but as I previously explained, something strange and dangerous happen as if we die. Compared to normal monsters who just die, we can revive after a day, but I am certain that this revival has a heavy cost. Although I have no proof, I hope that you will trust me for that. I am honestly thinking of what is best for the dungeon and also... boss monsters are not an absolute necessity."

Five looked at the lich and the banshee queen. He could see the sincerity in their eyes and according to his experience and intuition, it did not seem that they were lying. But in the past, his intuition has proven him wrong countless time. He had been mercilessly betrayed by the people he trusted the most, including his fiancée.

"Are you certain of what you are saying? I really hope that you are not just making up a story..." 

"Master, I am a hundred percent confident. Something bad must happen as we die and revive. I hope that you will trust me, but you are the master. In the end, if you refuse, we will still comply with your orders," declared Dreidus.

"Alright then... Let's do as you say. As for the boss monsters, for now we'll just use higher level monsters for that," said Five. In the end, he still chose to believe Dreidus. The lich was sincere and did not have any reason to lie to him. After what he encountered in real life, Five was not willing to blindly trust anyone, especially if they put forward groundless theories. However, without trust, his dungeon would never grow, and he would never reach his goal. 

He looked at the two boss monsters', whose expression immediately changed from a fearful and expectant one to an expression of relief and joy. 'Sigh... I am still soft-hearted and cannot say no when people look at me like that... I really hope you don't betray me Dreidus...'

"Thank you! Thank you, master. I promise that you won't regret it," exclaimed the two boss monsters at the same time.

At the same time, the door suddenly opened, and 3 golden silhouettes rushed into the meeting room.

"Master! We are back! Ouch that was heavy. Quick master, look at what we brought back. Praise us!"

"We came back a bit earlier than usual. Sorry to interrupt your meeting."

"..."

The two distinct voices of the harpies interrupted the two boss monsters as the harpies stormed in. Without hesitation, Alice rushed forward and dropped all the loot she was carrying on the table in front of Five.

The latter was overwhelmed and exclaimed with a surprised expression, "What. what are all of these? Did you do something dangerous? Where did you go? You are all glowing like that! What happened?" His eyes quickly moved from the pile of items in front of him and moved from Alice to the other two harpies who were emitting a golden glow.

Confused, the three harpies looked at each other, not knowing what to say. After a few seconds of awkwardness, Ariel stepped forward and also emptied her arms, "Master, we don't understand what you are saying. Are we glowing?"

Hearing her question, Five became even more confused. Ariel, who was now standing right in front of him, was clearly emitting a golden glow. It looked like one of those special effects used to highlight characters in movies. But now, the harpies were saying that there was nothing wrong? 'Did my eyes get damaged after looking at the dungeon screen too much?'

"What about you guys? Do you notice anything wrong about them?" asked Five to Dreidus and Lyra.

Unfortunately, the two undead monsters simply looked at him with concern, "Master, there is nothing wrong with the harpies. Are you having hallucinations? Could it be that you are under the effect of a curse or a debuff?" 

The situation was awkward; it seemed that he was the only one able to see the golden glow but that glow clearly did not have any harmful effect. "I have not been exposed to any enemies, so how could I be under the effect of some debuff? It's something that only I can see... Then it should be something related to the game... Could it be that the harpies were being affected by the update?" A thought crossed his mind but he was unsure whether it meant good or bad news. An update could mean either a buff or a nerf and considering that the harpies played a huge role during the trial, it was likely that their stats would be lowered.

To confirm his hypothesis, Five quickly opened the dungeon interface to look at his other monsters and as he expected, the skeletons and zombies were also glowing! 

The monsters were curious, their master's behavior was simply abnormal; they silently watched as Five randomly smiled after looking at the skeletons and the zombies.

"Sorry about that. It was just me overreacting. Let's forget about that, what are all these items? Where did you find them?" asked Five, completely dismissing the matter.

 "Eh? ok..." Seeing Five changing the subject, Ariel chose not to pursue the matter. Instead, she explained the scenario that the three sisters agreed on. Following the request of Harriet, the three harpies decided to lie about the origin of these items to hide the fact that the Harpy Queen was nearby.

"We were flying through the forest when we saw a group of beasts fighting each other to death. Apparently, they were fighting to become the new Beast Kings of the forest. Since we have killed the Ape King and the Forest Tiger King is severely injured, the other beasts were taking the opportunity to overthrow them. They were focused on the battle and did not notice our presence. In the beginning, we just watched the fight from afar but when we saw that all the beasts were injured, we simply snatched the items and finished a few injured ones," explained Ariel. She tried to keep her explanation as vague as possible; since she was making up a lie, it was better to not go into too much detail to avoid getting caught out.

Five frowned upon listening, "That is very dangerous. Did I not say to not take risks like that? Were you injured?" While he inquired about their state, Five quickly looked at their HP bar.

"We are fine! Look at us. How could those silly beasts even hurt us when we can just fly above their head," declared Alice. She quickly spun onto herself and flapped her wings, showing that she was not injured in any way.

Having already confirmed this through the HP bar, Five was relieved. He then turned his attention toward the pile of items in front of him and the ones still in Angela's arm. His eyes shone as the information about each item appeared.

The items were clearly the drops of the beasts of the forest. After the trial, when it was time to clean up the floor of the corpses, Five noticed that he could actually harvest the drops of the fallen beasts from their corpses. Each beast would leave one or two items before disappearing and it was thanks to these items that the dungeon was quickly replenished.

These items were not very useful to the dungeon but simply by selling them in the dungeon shop, Five quickly made 50000 DP. The trial was not cruel to the point of depleting all of his DP; in the end, he was able to harvest quite a few DP. If he were to compare his gain to the cost of the dead monsters, his profits were actually astronomical. It was just a pity that most of those profits had to be used to purchase skills to guarantee his survival instead of being invested in the dungeon.

After facing the severe decline in revenue during the last three days, Five was naturally delighted to see free DP coming his way. The most interesting part was that 2 beast cores were quietly lying inside the pile of items. They were without a doubt the most precious items that the harpies had brought back. Just one beast core could be sold for 15000 DP.

After being betrayed, framed and kicked down to the ground, our protagonist was sentenced to life imprisonment. But a few days later, a global disaster occurred, people from all nations migrated to underground refuges.

As a prisoner, he thought his life was over, abandoned by everyone. However, he wakes up, greeted by Gaia, the person responsible for New Earth.

New Earth was a second chance for him, watch as he builds up his own dungeon and become known by all as the Emperor of Madness

A weird smell of incense woke me up from my sleep.... 'Where is this faint incense smell coming from?'.. I wondered stranding up quietly to not wake up the others, but to be honest if they were sleeping through Daisy's and Scarlets loud snoring I'm pretty sure they can sleep through anything. I noticed Paul wasn't here.... 'He must be in his room'.... I quietly and carefully crepted to his door opening it slowly and silently a possible. 'Hmmmm he's not here either...' noticing his bed was untouched and perfectly made. 'He must be where the incense smell is coming from....' following my nose I discovered the smell was coming from his locked room that was left slightly open.
"Paul?..." I whispered opening the door slightly to peer inside. I starred in awe quietly as it looked like a museum.... hundreds and hundreds of things on shelves and glass cabinets with the source of the smell coming deep within the room.
Curiosity getting the better of me as always I silently slipped into room taking care not to open the door too much. It was truly amazing... I guess this is Paul's personal treasure trove of items and equipment..... Slowly I made my way deeper into the room the smell of incense getting stronger and stronger. "Paul." I said noticing the back of someone that looked like they was in a wheel chair.
"Emilia?..." He turned around to face his eyes red and swollen from crying.
"Hey you okay?..." I asked worried about him walking closer.... "What are you doing?.." I asked noticing he had packs and packs of incense.
"It's my way of paying my respects to those who passed away...." He said in a solemn tone returning to face a large ash filled tray filled with stalks of completely burned incense.
"Can I?..." I asked politely.
"Yeah..... Here." He said taking out two stalks of incense and lighting them for me. "Just you know... Pray for them and hope they find their way to heaven..." He said putting them in my right hand and placing my left hand around my right to resemble praying hands. I closed my eyes praying they find a way to heaven and opened my eyes.
"Now you just plant it into the ash tray....." He said guiding my hand to imbed the stalks into the ash tray where the two he lit earlier was still burning.
"Are these all the Students of Atlantis that has lost their lives?..." I questioned quietly to maintain the solemn atmosphere.
"Yes... All the students and individuals that unfortunately we lost due to my decisions and actions..." He answered closing his eyes taking a deep breathe.
"I thought we only lost one student....." I questioned noticing we burnt two stalks.
"We lost on students.... and one Guard bravely sacrificed himself to complete a task for me..." He explained as tears began to flow down his eyes. I instinctively pulled his head closer to me holding him tightly, 'just what have you been through all these years?.....''
He silently pulled his head away gently after calming down and pulled out a big handful of incense and began lighting them all in small bunches. "This set are for all the soldiers that I murdered today... I don't know how many...." He said imbedding the incense into a larger bowl is alot more left over stalks.
"Let me..." I said taking some bunches and began helping him to finish planting the incense taking care not to burn myself.
We prayed in silence for a few seconds before raising our heads........ "Come let's go..." He said with intense sorrow in his eyes.
"You can't keep blaming yourself." I said to him quietly and respectfully.
"I know...... I tell myself that as well.... but I always wondered maybe if I was a little smarter or more prepared I could save lives on both sides....." He cursed.
"Paul you did your best..... And that's all anyone can ask for..." I said trying to comfort him. He nodded in silence but I can tell from his expression he's punishing and blaming himself for everything that happened.
"So what is this room?..." I asked after a few minutes of silence hoping to get his mind off things.
"This is the room we have for extremely dangerous items and artifacts....." He explained wheeling through the room. "For example..... See that Pitch Black floating crystal encased in glass?.." He asked me pointing at it.
"Yeah...." I answered.
"Well that is.... a Black Soul Stone containing a fragment of the Shackled Oblivion.... merely being near it will corrupt and drive someone insane and become a servant to the Shackled Oblivion with the ultimate goal of releasing it back into the universe." He explained making me take a few steps away from it.
"Can't you destroy it?..." I asked feeling frightened of the evil it can cause.
"Ohhh so small back story.... Shackled Oblivion Started a war with all the other Gods..... Wanting to bring darkness and death to everything that living.... It took the combined might of all the Gods to defeat it... and even then could only shackle it in the plane of Oblivion where it stays trapped for eternity, eternally fighting scheming and finding ways to unbind itself......" He explained.
"So no destroying it?.." I asked.
"I don't think I have the power to..... Nor do I know what will happen if I did...." He answered.
"We're safe right?.." I questioned.
"The glass case it's in is protected with a null zone.... but even then going near it will cause very disturbing images." He answered.
"Gotcha don't go near it..." I answered, "You got anything that won't spell disaster and doom to the whole world?.." I asked jokingly.
"Ohhh this is cool..." He said pointing at a large egg encased in a similar glass case, it was beautiful.... all across the shell was bright lights of different intensities all flowing in one direction like the night sky as if I was peering into space itself. "That is the Egg of one of the rarest Dragons to ever exist.... A Celestial Dragon....." He smiled seeing my reaction.
"A space dragon?..." I asked.
"Yes..... A Celestial Dragon is an everlasting Dragon that lives in the Astral plane.... even I have never seen one... can you imagine?... the infinite knowledge it must have..." Paul explained in awe. "Anyways because time doesn't flow in the Astral Plane..... The only way a Celestial Dragon can reproduce is laying an egg in a plane of existence... We came across this specimen when we cleared a Dragon Cult..." He smiled.
"Will it hatch?.." I asked curiously.
"Scarlet and Ashley say's there is a Baby Dragon in there.... but we've had it for years and nothing has happened so far... even its mother hasn't returned for it." Paul explained.
"Wow... what do they look like?.." I asked curiously.
"From what I've read.... they are like Serpentine Dragons similar to those you see in Chinese Mythology they are depicted to be ethereal…. Beautiful coloured in purple and blue." Paul answered.
"Wow..." I uttered in awe my imagination going wild.
"Ohh this is interesting..." He said pointing at an urn..... Encased in ice constantly spewing out blue and black smoke falling to the grounds of its confines.
"That seems evil..." I instinctively said just looking at it brought chills up my spine.
"Remember the object that kept the Evil person from dying in the books you love to read so much?..." He asked.
"Yeah....." I answered.
"Well that..... Is the Urn of a Lich called a Phylactery..... That is the only true way to kill a Lich... destroy the Urn and the Soul of the Lich contained within will die to." He explained.
"Woah....." I looked at it in complete fear. "Who does it belong to?..." I asked.
"Holding a Lich's Phylactery keeps the Lich at bay..... It's an insurance policy." Paul answered.
"Why not just destroy it.....?" I questioned.
"A Phylactery is one of the most ancient of Necromantic Rituals and spells... It has been noted that destroying a Phylactery will also result in the destroyer's death regardless of where they are...... and not only that the immense amount of Necromantic energy in that small Urn will let out a giant Death nova rendering a huge area Lifeless for decades." Paul answered.
"So earlier before.... about Scarlets armour being made out of Platinum Dragon Scales... what is that?..." I questioned.
"It's a long story..... There was One dragon the true God of Dragons....... It birthed two Dragon Gods... Bahamut the King of Dragons the only known Platinum Dragon to ever exist... and Tiamat the Queen of Dragons...... Bahamut and his metal coloured kin are normally considered good and fight for righteousness...... Then there's Tiamat and her coloured kin..... They have normal colours like green black and red..... They are considered generally evil and selfish." He began to explain making me wonder was it a dragon that I saw back in the Sporean village. "As you remember Helen and Grace's look of disbelief..... Since Gods can't come here how is it possible to get the scales of a Platinum Dragon?" He chuckled.
"So what is it made out of?.." I questioned.
"No idea... to be honest….. It's defiantly made from Dragon scale but how and what exactly.... I don't know." He chuckled.

Jack's narrowed eyes opened slightly as his gaze fell upon the leg clenching Leslie, his first Wife, as a rush of chemicals flooded the brain that grew within his skull.

[Ah... I... Wow...] Jack revaluated Leslie, again. It seemed that possessing flesh and having a brain again with his soul attached changed his thought patterns. At least the chemicals that it produced seemed to influence him greatly.

"Ya brought Us here witchy, soz stop makin' goo-goo eyes wit ya first wife, and tell Us bosses what it is ya needs." Crag took in another strong hit of dust, as his give-a-fuck meter was at an all-time low.

All of the present undead collectively drew their gaze to Crag, as he smiled largely.

"Wut? Ya want a hit???" Crag looked slightly buzzed, as he then responded, "Sorry, but this is for me and the big boss to enjoy... Ya butch of mugs can piss off, wit whatever ya thinking."

"That's enough, Crag." Jack raised his right hand to Crag.

Crag noticed his buzz just went away, and a chill crawled along his bones, as he sat straighter in his seat. It was only now that he realized that he had the ire of all of the members of the Clergy and the amusement of the rest.

Jack took another look at Leslie, as then then looked over the rest, and with his strangely hypnotic voice he continued, "What Crag said is correct, however crass. We don't have much time. Pope Lucius detained a strange child within the jails not long ago, and I'm sure many that need to know, know of her strangeness."

The military, Clergy, Holy Sentinels, and Leslie all nodded.

"I don't know how to break this easily, so I will just be straight forward. That was the child of the union of Life and Death. The grandchild of the Creator, himself."

A collective gasp rang from the zombie undead, while a rattling sound emanated from the skeletal undead.

Jack pressed both hands in the air down, as a sudden silence occurred. Mark tilted his head as he continued to watch the actions of this undead in front of him. He looked down at his hands and watched the front icicled in his hands being forcibly pulled to the floor, as if some invisible force besides gravity was in play.

[So, the Lich King returns... But... Now what do I do?] Mark looked over to Janet, who took her eyes off the God-King to match his gaze. Mark could see fear behind her eyes, as he reached out with his left hand to hold Janet's. Janet squeezed Mark's hand in response.

"It seems the Church of the Three Gods have pulled some tricks and have snatched this child from Our Jail Quarters."

Lucius slammed his hands on the table he was seated and rose quickly.

"Don't bother checking... Death has already informed me that she's gone." Jack spoke in response.

"Then what do we do!?" Lucius sat back down but maintained his panic.

"We go to war. Death has given us three days to retrieve his daughter, or this world will be no more."

"Why doesn't Mr. Death just save his own daughter." Mark spoke up, causing a wave of ill from the rest present, and the narrowing of Leslie's eyes, as she turned to see him.

"That's the point. We all die, when he comes to get her. Either we secure her and our lives, or he secures her, and we are forfeit. Or... Mark Lokson, would you rather that we sit here and ask stupid questions until doomsday?"

Mark let go of Janet's hand, as he hardened his voice, "How do you know that name?!"

Jack narrowed his eyes, "With the history of death, what don't I know? Again, I don't have time for your or anyone's antics save for my own selfishness. The rest of you that would rather wait for your demise, step up now so I may strike you down to save myself the time."

A General of the Spellslingers, Legion of Warmarshal Stephanie, raised his head to speak, "Your own selfishness, my God-King?" This short stout zombie undead continued to look upon the God-King as he questioned his wording.

Stephanie glared to the side of her, as she regretted now bringing this newly appointed general with her... Others within the Court didn't understand why anyone would question the God-King after his announcement.

Jack smiled as he looked upon the General, "Yes, my own selfishness. General. I believe that's your rank from your medals. What is your name?"

"Uh, Bart Metelhearts."

"I see... Warmarshal Chaoshood, please arrange an offering to the Metalhearts Clan as an apology."

Stephanie Chaoshood had no idea what she was to apologize for or what to offer, but she responded, "Yes, my God-King."

Jack continued to smile as he nodded, he raised his thick right arm, and pointed to the General, "Bart Metalhearts... Kill yourself."

A strange hue of black, purple, and greenish-blue colors came from around the General and entered into him. Bart Metalhearts then stood up, and shouted, "...as... you command..." with his, now, blank eyes, he placed both of his hands on either side of his head and he pushed together with all the force of his Grand Master cultivator rank.

Black blood and brain matter burst forth, as his powerless body slumped and fell to the floor, staining the white rug that split the courtroom in two. Everyone watched the cruel punishment in front of them. Some wondered how the God-King did it, while others hoped they were not next. Joan licked her lips, as the snakes in her hair tasted the air that contained the scent of black blood excitedly.

"Anyone else, feel the same?" Jack swept his flaming eyes across the room.

Many thoughts crossed the minds of the undead present, but none voiced them.

"Good. Very little information was provided to me, but what little I do know, is that Borda has a port exclusively for the Church of the Three Gods. I need the Warbreakers and Spellslingers to assemble east of the city within the next six hours, the faster the better."

"Warmarshal Joan!"

"YES, MY GLORIOUS GOD-TYRANT!"

Jack's smile curved ever so slightly at the edges, "You will be the vanguard as the Warbreakers are always. You shall lead my forces. We are not just attacking the Church of the Three Gods... But all of Borda..."

"YES, YES! BY YOUR VERDICT!!! OH, GOD-KING I SHALL KILL ENDLESSLY AND DRINK DEEPLY THE BLACK BLOOD THAT SEEPS INTO THE LANDS, ALL IN YOUR APOCALYPTIC NAME! KILL THE POPULOUS, BURN THE CITIES, RAZE THE LANDS, AND **** THE RESOURCES!"

"Yes... This is good, Joan... Now... Be off." Jack gentle waves his left hand as if he was bored, but his expression showed his pleasure.

Joan stood, and grabbed the spaced-out Verruca to her side and frog marched her massive form out of the courtroom followed by Warmarshal Stephanie Chaoshood. The dead body of her General left behind. Stephanie cared not for the General... Her unlife was the God-King's... Even with her love for her husband, he didn't have claim to her life, as the God-King did...

"Pope Lucius."

"My God-King?" Lucius felt out of sorts seeing Jack be so heartless to a General. While he knew that Jack had a cold streak, it seemed he was enjoying it this time...

"Stir the hearts of the masses. Our war with Borda is just. They angered Death. Remember Lucius. I am the God-King. All are equal in death... but all in death serve me."

Lucius was about to agree with Jack but then heard the ending statement. It had always been, "All are equal in death." What was this tacked on the end? "All in death serve him???"

Mark commented, "Lich King."

"What?" Jack looked up.

"Sorry. I just happened to remember a passage I once read about you." Mark commented seeming to have regained his usual composure from earlier.

"Oh? That's nice." Jack brushed aside the comment, and continued, "Holy Sentinels. I will be going with the Legions for their war on Borda and the Church of the Three Gods. Come with me if you wish."

A buzz issued, and then silenced.

Jack nodded.

"I ask everyone here, not to leak this information." Jack commented looking at the others.

"I hope that you will aid me in these endeavors. Suppress the information of the end, encourage the death of Borda and their false church, and lastly... Hail to I, the God-King of my Pantheon." Jack said coldly.

"My dearest, and most precious wife, Leslie... Please see fit to execute anyone that decides to divulge this information, and any that hear it."

Leslie nodded absentmindedly.

"Good. Alright then. I'll be off in six hours. Oh, and Mark."

Mark nodded, as Jack spoke, "You'll be going with Us. You know how these rats of the Three Gods scurry about the best, so it will aid me greatly."

Mark nodded again, though slowly.

Jack turned to leave, as he heard a voice, "God-King! I have made progress!"

"Doctor Hollowell?" Jack turned, as his flaming eyes peered at the insane doctor.

"Do tell?" Jack spoke amused, as the rest of the court began to disperse.

Are we ever wholly dead? Completely dead? 

Jack has lived a lonely sad life, and we follow him into death! Follow Jack's journey into death, where he finds that death isn't the end, but just the beginning.

After death, Jack awakes in a new world, very alien from our own, in every way one can imagine. As some things change, others do not; is it human nature that is vile or do all intelligent beings become a slave to their ambitions.

Jack finds himself the ruler of an undead kingdom. Furthermore, he is The Holy Witch King, an undead with Holy powers? What's a bonehead to do?

Inside the Netherspirit's Claw's League channel, a feeble voice moaned. "Big boss, we just let the Fallen Angels take over Black Flame Valley? Yesterday, I promised my girlfriend that I will let her ride on the Black Flame Steed in three days' time, boss." 
Just as he was done talking, someone refuted, "Damn you John. I still remember that you had just gifted your girlfriend a Snow Martes a few days ago. I think it has not even hatched yet and now you want to gift her another Pet Egg?"
"Err… that one huh. No point bringing it up since it is in the past already…" John replied and sighed. "You know what, the one I cherish the most right now is my beautiful dear Little Sisi. "Reject him?"
Netherclaw smiled mockingly. "I hope I can too, but you all have failed to live up to my expectations, so what can I do?"

The group of people did not understand what Netherclaw was trying to imply. 
After a few seconds, Netherclaw huffed coldly. "Still don't understand?"

Netherclaw moaned silently as he was lazy to explain to John. John was just a normal Tier 5 player, he couldn't understand how strong a Champion was and what the name Winter Demon implied.
Netherclaw then said, "Regarding Black Flame Valley, Fallen Angels must have another objective.
