The Grand Skyward Exhibition Hall lit up in splendor yet again, signifying the impending announcement of a new mech design. Mech designers announced their new designs on Bentheim all the time, and it was something of a fun attraction to both locals and visitors attend these shows.
Who didn't love to witness a new mech? Especially one announced at the renowned Grand Skyward, a premier venue to showcase amazing new spaceborn mechs.
The LMC and NORA Consolidated both extended numerous invitations. Friends, acquaintances, business partners, customers, the press and numerous other figures arrived first. Each of them enjoyed the frontmost seats.
The Grand Skyward opened up its doors to the public as well. Many people on Bentheim considered themselves to be mech afficiados, so plenty of people paid the modest fee to enter the venue.
It helped a lot that the mech to be announced involved NORA Consolidated, one of the largest and prominent mech companies in the Bright Republic!
In comparison, the involvement of the young and upcoming Living Mech Corporation attracted much less attention. Perhaps in the eyes of most people, the upcoming design had been designed by Professor Corus Ventag with Ves contributing some small and important elements.
Ves would disabuse the audience of that notion very soon.
Tens of thousands of seats quickly started to fill up. The journalists already set up their live recording bots and began to speculate on the nature of the soon-to-be-announced mech design. A lot of mech insiders in the Bright Republic avidly followed the exploits of their favored Seniors. They rooted for them much in the same way fans supported their favored mech athletes!
In a backstage prep room, Ves studied the text of his speech for one last time. He already knew what to say, but it helped to review the points he needed to raise. In the meantime, various bots neatly groomed his appearance and his clothes.
"The opening speech isn't important." Gavin said. "The real challenge is when Professor Heckler stands up and forces you to enter into a debate with him. You need to be quick on your feet while maintaining your composure. Are you sure you are up to the task?"
"I don't fear Professor Pendleton. Even if he's a renowned Senior from Ansel, he will have to stick to the facts if he wants to tear down the Aurora Titan."
"Even Seniors aren't above resorting to misdirection and distortion to win an argument." Professor Ventag warned. "The competition between mech designers can get very ugly sometimes. The only saving grace is that Professor Pendleton should still maintain some reserve when he heckles our mech. It is unseemly for a Senior to go all-out to put down an Apprentice's mech design."
"He'll probably approach it with a patronizing mindset, like an elder correcting a wayward child."
That would make Professor Pendleton appear as the wise man and Ves as a stupid and misguided kid. If all the mech publications portrayed the upcoming debate in such a light, then the Aurora Titan would inevitably be branded as a whimsical mech design!
Gavin emphasized the most important priority. "Regardless of whether you win or lose, you need to look good in front of the live recordings and archival footage. If you break down for some reason, you'll completely destroy your credibility as well as the credibility of your new mech. As long as you look confident and composed, our marketing campaigns can still use the footage to paint the Aurora Titan in a good light."
In other words, even if Ves failed to sound convincing in his attempts to refute Professor Pendleton's arguments, the Aurora Titan's prospects could still be salvaged. Many mech designs that had been torched by rival mech designers had always managed to climb back from their purgatory.
However, their damaged reputation meant that their designers were forced to discount them and cut their prices.
Since the Aurora Titan's viability as a product depended heavily on its high product margin, it could not afford to be discounted! If Ves had to cut its price by 20 million credits, then he would inevitably have to cut it by another 20 million credits after the new mech generation arrived.
This would essentially wipe out any profits that could be made from selling the Aurora Titan!
Professor Pendleton doubtlessly aimed to achieve this result and more. Anything that gave the mech designers associated with the DCTI some difficulties was a win in Ansel's book!
"It's almost time." Gavin reminded Ves. "Even Professor Heckler arrived. He's sitting in the center in the front row."
Senior Mech Designers deserved the best seats. That was basic courtesy, but even if that custom didn't exist, Ves still wanted Professor Pendleton to be as close as possible to Ves who would be standing on the stage in a couple of minutes.
"Are the show models in place?" Ves asked.
"Yup. All of them have been checked and we found nothing amiss. They're ready to be shown off at any time."
The mech pilots of the show models had already geared up and entered the cockpits of the mechs. Janni Larkinson and the four mech pilots sent by NORA Consolidated had all trained with the Aurora Titan in the simulators and with their actual mechs for a considerable amount of time.
All five of them became very familiar with the more advanced functions of the Aurora Titan. As a mech with a high learning curve, it was essential for the mech pilots to demonstrate the best uses of the mechs.
"It's time now."
Ves took a deep breath. "Wish me luck."
While Professor Ventag exited the backstage in order to take a seat close to Professor Pendleton, Ves walked up to the stage in a confident gait. Lucky followed him as well, this time held in his grasp.
The noise and conversation in the entire exhibition hall slowly died down, partially helped by the sound-dampening measures built into the enormous chamber. Gavin and a team of professional technicians manned the Grand Skyward's many controls, allowing them to manipulate the senses of the audience to their liking.
Right now, the lights in the main hall had dimmed down. Aside from lighting the emergency exits and Ves himself, hardly any details could be seen. Curtains currently blocked their sight of what lay behind.
Ves "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Grand Skyward. My name is Ves Larkinson, and you may have heard of me. Over the last couple of months, I have worked together with the esteemed Professor Corus Ventag on a joint design project that incorporates features that are rarely seen in mechs currently on offer. Today, the LMC and NORA Consolidated is proud to present to you an innovative new mech design!"
The curtains behind his back slowly drew back, revealing the outlines of five huge objects. The relative darkness in the chamber prevented the audience from seeing the mechs in their full glory. However, even the faint backlight that outlined their contours was enough to suggest that they were considerably large mechs!
As soon as the curtains parted, the audience already sensed something remarkable about the mechs! A strong, formless aura emanated from the mechs. All of the gold label mechs possessed an identical X-Factor, with the mech at the center exerting the strongest effect.
All five of their auras blended together, amplifying their effects on the minds and spirit of the audience members.
Even Professor Pendleton at the front row looked discomfited for a short moment before he wiped the confusion off his face.
Ves smiled as he noticed that the auras accomplished their intended effect. These machines were the closest things to living mechs that he had ever designed and fabricated! With the Aurora Titan's potent A-grade X-Factor, how could its effect on average, spiritually weak humans be negligible?
From the start, Ves intended to take advantage of this property to manipulate the audience to his side. The threat of Professor Pendleton standing up to badmouth the Aurora Titan only increased the importance of this measure!
Even if Professor Pendleton won the upcoming argument on facts and logic, how could the audience ever be convinced by them when their mood and emotions overwhelmingly became impressed by the mechs?
The upcoming verbal battle was not meant to force either Ves or Professor Pendleton to admit their wrongs. Mech designers could be rather stubborn people especially if it came to their own work.
No, their actual goal was to get the audience on their side. As long as Professor Pendleton managed to work the entire crowd against the Aurora Titan, then the live broadcasts and subsequent footage could be used to hammer the Aurora Titan over and over again until practically nobody would dare to buy the mech for fear of inviting ridicule!
Yet even without revealing the full appearances of the five show models, Ves already gained an inestimable advantage. Tens of thousands of attendees already became mesmerized by the strong compelling aura emanating from the five mechs looming at the rear of the stage!
"What is a mech?" Ves rhetorically asked while stroking Lucky's back. The cat had garnered some attention as well. "A mech is a fighting machine. We all know that. Yet I believe that they can be something more. My company and I believe that mechs carry an intrinsic quality that goes beyond their technical performance on the battlefield. Don't believe me? Then what about the mechs you see behind me? Can you really call them lifeless machines that are only meant to be used as tools?"
The audience went completely still. Even if someone farted loudly or something, the systems running in the background would make sure to not only suppress that sound, but suck away the awful odor before it went on to disturb the people sitting next to the offending farter!
The silence seemed to magnify the unusual pressure in the air. To Ves, it appeared that his remarkable mechs responded to his meaning!
The Aurora Titan wanted to become a success as much as Ves!  No mech design wanted to remain forgotten and unused!
Ves grinned as the dramatic pauses and the other little tricks continued to sway the crowd to his words. Even though he was cheating by taking advantage of the strong auras of his best mechs to date, he nonetheless gained a lot of confidence, and it showed.
He leisurely petted his cat while he continued his opening statement. "As the lead designer of the mech design that I'm about to reveal to you, I am proud to say that it is an innovative product with no equal in the mech market. In coming up with the mech concept, I questioned every assumption that many mech designers take for granted and reevaluated them according to their individual merits. This has led to a radical vision for a new mech that is incredibly suitable in both the current mech generation and the next mech generation!"
Anticipating music began to play in the massive chamber. Vibrations emanating from the air and from the seats helped build up everyone's expectations!
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the LMC and NORA Consolidated's latest mech design, the Aurora Titan AT-A-01!"
A huge glow of bright light washed over the five Aurora Titans from above right at the climax of the music!
As people's vision adjusted to the sudden brightness, they beheld the splendor of the Aurora Titans in full!
At least half of the crowd gasped in surprise. Others showed milder reactions that nevertheless hinted at their amazement of the mechs!
The tantalizing hints that Ves fed the crowd had not prepared them to the full sight of the mechs! The Shield of Samar and its four sibling mechs of the same model finally showed themselves to the crowd, to the Bright Republic and to anyone else who was watching the live broadcast!
After more than seven months of development and design work, the Aurora Titan design finally made its debut to the mech market!


Humanity has conquered half the galaxy and the Age of Mechs reigns supreme!

Ves Larkinson lacked the genetic aptitude to become a famed mech pilot. Fighting against his fate, he studied mech design in order to express his love for mechs as a builder instead of a soldier.

When Ves graduated from college, he returned to a new but empty boutique. Left with a small, newly founded mech workshop that his father painstakingly built with a mountain of debt, Ves somehow needs to make ends meet with the bank breathing down his neck.

In the midst of his despair, he found salvation from another legacy his father had left.

The members of the Enforcement Department who had disappeared were dragged into the Emperor Killing Sword World, and none of them were able to escape. After doing this, Zhao Fu quickly took Lin Yan'Er and left.
Even though Zhao Fu had a Nation Armament and did not fear World Realm experts, if the Ancient Sword Sect's Sect Master arrived, Zhao Fu would not be a match for him. As such, it was best to quickly leave; after all, he had already achieved his goal.
Following this, the Ancient Sword Sect found out about this matter. Losing a World Realm Elder and 10,000 Stage 6 members of the Enforcement Department was not a small loss at all.
What angered them even more was that they did not even know who had down this. The biggest suspect was that mysterious Emperor. If it was that mysterious Emperor, things would be troublesome, as he now had the ability to kill World Realm experts. The other Elders could possibly die at his hands as well.
Because of this, the Ancient Sword Sect went into full defensive mode, banning all Elders and disciples from going out without notice. The Ancient Sword Sect did all they could to find Zhao Fu's location, and they wanted to kill him at all costs.
Back then, a World Realm expert would be able to suppress him, but he could now easily kill World Realm experts. If he was allowed to develop, the Ancient Sword Sect really would be in danger.
It was not just the Ancient Sword Sect's Sect Master who went out searching for Zhao Fu; many of the Ancient Sword Sect's Corps also prepared to go out and kill Zhao Fu.
The people from the Bear Mountain Kingdom and Nether Yin Kingdom's expressions became serious, and they also took great notice of this matter. They had never thought that the other person would be such a threat, and they started to regret the things that they had done in the past. The Devil Horn Empire had changed its plans, and they did not plan to expand to the right for fear of clashing with the Wind God Empire. It instead started to develop to the left.
The White God World was the best next target. The world above it, the Rock Spirit World, had already been conquered by the Devil Horn Empire, and the world below it, the Spirit Light World, had been conquered by Great Qin. The Half-Beast World to its right had fallen, and the Desolate Crow World to its left was split.
Now, the White God World was completely isolated and anyone would want to move against it. It was alone and helpless.
However, the White God World was one of the members of the allied worlds, and anyone who wanted to attack it had to consider the allied worlds. If they attacked, their power would not be weak at all.
However, the Devil Horn Empire had thought of a way to deal with this. They had established friendly relations with some worlds far away and had promised and signed Permanent Contracts that they would not attack their worlds. This caused the alliance, which was not very unified, to fall apart.

The three remaining worlds understood that they could not defend against the Devil Horn Empire, so they took the initiative to seek peace with the Devil Horn Empire and withdrew from the alliance. Now, the alliance had completely broken down.
The Devil Horn Empire temporarily did not respond, but everyone knew that it would do. Since it would not attack the worlds above, if it did not attack the worlds below, how would it develop?

"Roarrr!" Massive devil qi swept through the surroundings as the devil beast army charged at the front. Countless flying beasts covered the sky, and the beasts on the ground were like a massive tide. The two of them gave off ferocious auras.
Facing the devil beast army, the White God Race did their best to resist, unleashing their most powerful methods. They threw out massive white crystal pillars that were cone-shaped and contained countless runes.
"White Spirit Light!" The White God Race activated the crystal pillars and massive rays of light containing terrifying power shot out.


“Ding! Soulbinding has been successfully completed; you will now head to the Heaven Awaken World.” After hearing this, Zhao Fu’s vision darkened as he fell to the ground.

The entry to the trail of worlds resided on the second floor of the academy building. On the way, Flora crammed as much knowledge as she could into the grinning Eddie.
"I summarize: Stats are great, get higher ones. Don't level until I know what to do, and AIs are my friends?" 
"You got it, dear!"
"Weren't we of the opinion that they take over the world and enslave humanity?"
"Shush! AIs are our friends."
"But I spend all my money on my lair! There's nothing left for an artificial friend to curb my loneliness! This daily limit is gruesome. We are old and rich. We should be allowed to waste the inheritance of our children!"
Flora tried to remit him 5000 VirDos, but the System only allowed her to transfer 1000. 
"Thanks, I pay you back with RL Money!" Eddie paused. "The blue window says no. Oh well, back to the good old times where I'm a kept innocent boy getting spoiled by old women!"
"Nice! Follow me, Boy Toy!" Smirking, Flora swaggered away.

After entering together through a portal, Flora found herself alone in a circular room.
Before she had even time to get confused, a window popped up.
"Do you want to join Shiny Frenemy's party?"
After confirming, Eddie appeared next to her. 
The lights dimmed. Stars and the sun started to appear. Then, behind the sun, a blue planet rotated into view.
Flora shuddered. Experiencing the space through the shuttle window wasn't that different than watching 2001 space odyssey on TV, but standing in the middle of a lot of nothing surrounded by glowing objects left an impression. 
"Awesome!" Eddie whispered.
Next, the floor under her feet vanished. Flora felt herself moving into the direction of the planet. Of course, there was no wind or gravity, but still, she felt a pull from the planet.
Flora took deep breaths and slowly exhaled.
"Stop the flight, please. I need a moment to adjust."
"What? The fun just began!"
The pulling sensation stopped. The inertia carried her along, but Flora noticed that she could control her flight with her willpower or maybe magic.  
"And why can you regulate this experience?"
"Because the AIs are my friends." Then Flora ignored Eddie and assessed the situation. "I can breathe. That's good. I'm not freezing. Great! I'm flying through space, which doesn't fit together with the first two observations, but I'm not complaining about not dying."
"Don't think, just feel!" Eddie somersaulted in slow motion.
The planet still moved in her direction, and Flora realized what had put her knickers in a twist: It was too fast, and it had no moon. While she was fighting to get a grip on herself, a quarter of a year had passed, at least according to the movement of the planet.  
Now that she knew why her instincts screamed 'something is wrong' she was able to relax and look around. 
Flora saw even fewer stars than at night, maybe because of light pollution of the sun, nor other planets.
Of course, she related her observations to Eddie, who chuckled. If he let overly detailed comments spoil his mood, he wouldn't be friends with Flora.
"Thank you. We can resume the journey."
Orchestral music did its best to create a majestic mood but was wasted on Flora, who started to get impatient.
"Feel free to speed up."
"They forgot to add the clouds, as well," Flora added as the planet got nearer and nearer. Now, she could distinguish the different landmasses, the Americas, Africa, Eurasia, and another continent in the pacific. She was pretty sure that she never learned about it in geography. 
"Welcome to the Metaworld!" said a sonorous voice.
"Thank you, how may we call you?" 
"I'm the Trail of Worlds."
"This is slightly awkward. We have a quest to walk you." Flora imagined a dog leash with a mini solar system on the other end and her waiting next to tree until it finished its business.
"Do you think it pees Meteorshowers?" Flora asked Eddie.
"Joining you was the best decision ever!"   
"Another option would be trampling all over the poor AI. I neither want to do that!" 
"You are currently on the Trail of Worlds. No trampling necessary, thank you." The voice answered wryly, which send Eddie into another 'rolling on the air laughing' fit. 
Flora looked at her feet. They were a few kilometers above Europe.
"Alright. You would know best."
The Trail of Worlds told them about the Metaworld. Both entered it via the nearest node of their home country, which had been Frankfurt. 
Users built everything besides the portals and the plaza they were standing on. An exception to this rule was the island Pacifica. There resided the gateways to the other worlds and Cities created by CentralTank.
The continent under them came closer. 
She knew that from the context, she was zeroing in on Frankfurt, but she didn't recognize any country marks but the Rhine and maybe the river Main if their target was Frankfurt. Without any cities and the Autobahn, it was difficult to get one's bearings.
The skyline of the approaching city looked nothing like the Frankfurt she knew. The flight stopped with her hovering above the diamond-shaped plaza she had entered the Metaworld last Saturday. 
"Well, I recognize nothing from the real world." 
"I believe this could be the Roemer." Eddie speculated and pointed at a historic pink house. "Could you show us Berlin or London or Paris?"
The Trail of Worlds acquitted. In Berlin, they landed at the Brandenburger Tor, in London on Trafalgar Square, and in Paris in front of the Eiffel tower.
Flora watched out for other landmarks, especially London was full of them with the Big Ben, the London Bridge, the London Eye, and the Buckingham Palace but spotted none of them. There was a prominent tower, but it looked more like Big Ben's illegitimate child with a 22nd century UFO landing pad than a clocktower.
Flora wouldn't have thought it possible, but in this world, big companies and their logos and advertisement were even more pronounced than in the RL. 
She spotted SAPling Palace and Daimeler District. Eddie pointed out Teutsche Delekom Magenta Castle ('My eyes!'), and the E.off Estate. 
"So, I can build whatever wherever I want if another building doesn't occupy the place?" Flora asked.
"And if nobody bought the land before you and it is within your home country." 
"I want a treasure island!" Eddie interjected.
"I want a factory!"
"You can build your factory on my treasure island. Not only to produce the treasure but also to blow smoke out of the eye sockets of my skull-shaped lair!"
"Great, let's make it cyborg skull, I want a lot of pipes and blinking lights as well."
Next, the Trail of Worlds told them about scenarios and the Metaworld TV. She already knew about the first. The second was where multiple TV Channels with news about the Cetviwos and view on-demand channels with movies and series produced in the Cetviwos. Most of the programs could not only be watched like TV but had a port-in-the-scene function. Here you entered the movie set and could ghost around. 
Of course, experios for the main characters were the most popular feature.
Eddie asked further questions about the TV features. He had worked as an actor and later as a moderator on a shopping channel. Back then, he had met Flora at a launch party when they included a line of Flora's household appliances in their program. 
"We might have to add a film studio on the island." Flora grinned, and Eddie flashed her thumbs up before he resumed with his questions.
Afterward followed a series of sponsored clips for a multitude of activities. Flora instructed Aidan to remind her of some, while Eddie commented on the quality of the presentation.

"Are you ready for the next worlds?"
"Sure!" They both nodded.
The Trail of Worlds whisked them to Pacifica.
"This is the Tourist Triangle, the hub for the gateways to the tourism worlds! You can access the tourist words via every node and gateway, but here you can find quests, special offers, and information about events."
Flora flew a slowly around the plaza. Between the big gateways, people mingled, and vendors praised their wares. 
Neon signs surrounded the glowing arcs. "Today 50% off all horror houses" at the gateway to the Amusement Park world, "Buy one, get two jetski rides!" at the Water-World and "Triceratops Travels - Experience the Cretaceous Period on a groovy ride!" at the Paleo Planet portal.
The Trail of Worlds said a few sentences to every world, and Flora communicated with Eddie and Aidan about which she wanted to take a closer look.
"You may choose a world each for a sneak peek." 
"I want to see the No Humans Planet. Especially, the region where on Earth Netherland is located. Without dikes, the area is probably underwater. On the other hand, it probably depends how much the developers attribute climate change to human influences.
Maybe Egypt is a better example. People used the power of the Nile for over 6000 years. Probably longer." Flora couldn't wrap her head around the concept of a planet based on the Earth in the current era but without any humans. 
They took flight over breathtaking mountains, soaring with eagles. Packs of wolfs roamed majestic woods, and schools of orcas jumped through the clear water. 
Gradually, Flora's frown grew deeper. The reason for her displeasure wasn't solely because of the lack of toasters. But she felt that the construction of the planet wanted to shove some anti-humanity propaganda down her throat.
"What happens when I build a cottage?"  
"We reset the whole planet every week. Then, all traces of the tourists will be extinguished."
Flora snorted. "We can leave now. This is no place for engineers."
"Nor for artists. For inspiration, maybe, but what is inspiration without actualization?" Eddie added.
"Yes, and it feels artificial without being art. Please choose a better world than me."

Eddie decided on the Water World. 
The Trail of Worlds showed them the longest waterslide in the Cetviwos with 23 km, the sky falls, a whole region with nothing but waterfalls, furthermore underwater cities, and boat cities. Over the entire planet, no natural surface but water existed. They even build floating islands with swimming pools.
After visiting the ice palaces on the north pole, they left the world, and Flora congratulated Eddie on a choice well made. She saw several fascinating sights she wanted to explore in more detail.  

Next, the Trail of Worlds showed them the hub for the entries to the game worlds. 
"The Cetviwos offer a place for every game humankind has ever imagined. Some of these games occupy whole universes like the Space-Game or at least multiple planets like the Merc-Game or the KingdomBuilding-Game." 
Flora spotted an advertisement for "Manchester Allstars vs. Bavaria Munich - 20:00:00 CUT - Finest Football." next to gateway 'Sports and Boards' and pointed it out to Eddie, who wrinkled his nose. No respectable hipster would ever support Bavaria Munich.
"Milady, Tricky Beach is in this world."
"What? But I beamed directly from my lair to it."
"If you have discovered a port circle, you can teleport to it from any place beaming is possible. Most circles are free to use, but it is common in the tourism worlds to raise a fee. In the academy, you can find a list of public destinations you can beam to directly."
"Download the inventory when we are back, dear."
The Trail of Worlds introduced the game worlds to Flora and Eddie. Here the word "servers" was more often used then worlds because places like 'Panem et Ludos' were impossible to represent in the physical world. 
This server consisted of arenas with the usual seating plus a ring of restaurants surrounding the pit. A popular stadium like '3v3 100lvl-200lvl, last man standing, no rules' offered 5000 seats. If they were full, a new instance was created with another 5000 open positions.
You could switch between arenas seamlessly. 
The restaurants advertised not only their menus but also to which stadium they connected. Some didn't show fixed arenas but linked to guilds or star players.
"But what happens in the pit? Are there only fights or other competitions as well?"
"Every event has a fighting aspect. For pure sports or races, the server 'Sports and Boards' is the right place. Both servers feature mixed events."
The Trail of Worlds gave Flora a crash course on PvP modes like capture the flag, domination, jailbreak, missions, and deathmatch. Eddie filled in as a color commentator. 
"Thank you. I think I have to see it to imagine it. People are always so creative in finding ways to kill each other." Flora was confused but amused. "And you didn't fib when you said you know about gaming! When did you have time for that?"
"I played a Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplay Game in my twenties. Pretty intensively, if I may admit."
"But you were a huge movie star back then! Whole Germany wanted to *bleep* you, have you as a son-in-law or gay best friend! Or a combination of them!"
"I was shy! And in over my head. So I hid in a basement and behind a computer screen."
Flora nodded. She would have probably done the same. 
Next, the Trail of Worlds explained the different servers. 
First, Flora was excited when she heard that the kids-server had no blood and no killing humanoids, but she was soon disappointed to learn that she wasn't allowed to play at it. Only the guardians of kids could accompany them. 
"Another reason to exert pressure on Robby! But when my future grandchild is old enough to play, I would be 83. Oh well, he could adopt an adorable 12-year-old. Are there adorable children this age? Probably not."
"I lend you Armin in 3 years when he's twelve. For a small fee, of course. Granny-sitting is hard in your case. He should be generously compensated."
"How is Aimee's marriage? Still going strong?"
"Yes, unfortunately. I would have called you immediately otherwise!"
They both sighed exaggeratedly. They spend years teasing their kids to hook up, which, of course, caused the opposite reaction. 
Meanwhile, the Trail of Worlds continued the presentation of the servers. 
The Massive Multiplayer Online Games shared one server, the Cradle for the first five levels. Then they split for level 5-100 on different servers. For the Merc-Game, every half year, a new 5-100 server opened up. The next one was scheduled in just a few weeks.
"I looked into it. It's beneficial to start on a new server because there are good rewards for competitive achievements. On the old servers, they rose unreasonably high with time. The new server is a clean slate. Are you up to it?" Eddie asked.
"I haven't decided yet. All I know is that I want to make a hero's entrance on the Cradle on Sunday. Because I have an appointment on Monday with Evailyn." Flora proceded to tell him about Evai.  
"You should totally get an army of toasters and conquer the games!" Eddie laughed while Flora nodded earnestly. 

Finally, the tour ended, and Flora and Eddie found themselves back in the round room they had started.

After Flora Fluss burns down the kitchen, her son insists she is too old to live alone. She's got two choices. Either move into a retirement home or spend the rest of her life within a virtual reality game governed by society's most advanced artificial intelligence. When you've worked a lifetime as an engineer for home appliances, naturally, you go with the option that has more toasters. 
Soon, Flora finds out that the virtual world is more familiar than she thought. Though, it takes her a while to get used to the idea that tanks don't hold water or oil but the aggro of mobs.

Ceremony of the First Step is the day when a new life form wakes up and takes its first steps on the planet. A new form of life is a new kind of race that will replenish the ranks of the universe. 
Usually, all representatives of different worlds and Three Kings gather for this ceremony.
The last time the ceremony was when a human appeared in the universe. Alnilam did not honor the ceremony with his visit. Hearing that the next form of life appeared, he only sighed and closed in his room. 
But this time he was interested in going to that ceremony and see what kind is this the new form of life. 

After the daily worlds check ups Alnilam was sitting in his library. By locking the door with a powerful spell, so no one will disturb him he was sitting in a complete silence. After all, the best company that he has is himself. No matter how egoistic it may sound but his personality can not exist without the solitude. 
But any spell could be broken by Luther. He is the only one who has the same powers and the same abilities like Alnilam. 
Pushing the library door he felt the spell behind of it. With one click of his fingers he easily broke the spell and opened the door. 

"Alnilam, you are hiding again. Why do you always hide? Are you tired of me?" 

Alnilam did not look at him. His eyes were on the book which was lying on the big wooden table. 
The silence was in the air, only the rustling pages and flapping wings were heard in the room. 
The books around were randomly scattered everywhere. And all of them were thick volumes with golden or gray bindings. But some of them were very old ones without any cover, just a yellow pages with the smell of ancient times. 

"Is this an owl? Did you see him? There! He is flying over here!" Luther pointed to the big owl who was flying around. "Here!" He said and the owl landed on his outstretched arm. 
The owl looked around with its big black eyes. It was a rare species of owl that was able to see several worlds at once at a time. Once, Alnilam found a little chick in the forest and since then this owl has been living in his library. Its golden plumage and black tail created the impression of a fabulous bird. But in fact, such a rare color testified to the fact that this owl belonged to the dark side of the universe. And how she ended up in the forests of this world was unknown.

"Did you come up with a name Alnilam?" 

"Not yet." 

"You should give her a name. Let me make it up. Hm... What is your name, you beauty! 
I think your name is ... your name is Adria. Yes." he happily said and touched her feathers, "Alnilam, meet Adria. Adria this is Alnilam." 
Adria's golden plumage was perfectly matching with Luther's gold colored hair. Noticing this Alnilam said, "I think she is your bird now." 

"Really? You allow me to take her with me?" 

"Yes. She is yours now." 

"How wonderful! I will take her everywhere I go. So Adria! You are my best friend now. And not this boring Rigel." he said loudly so the Rigel who was outside could hear it. "I envy you Adria. You can see other worlds. I wish you could speak Adria. I think you have many stories in your head." 

Alnilam did not pay attention to what he was saying. He perfectly knew that he wants to ask him to let him go beyond this world. Knowing this he stood up from the chair and went upstairs. 
His tall figure started walking between rows of books. 

"Alnilam! When will you allow me to see other worlds? Look! I am all grown up now. I am responsible and I am very smart. It is you who taught me everything. If you don't trust me then it means that you don't trust yourself. I am just like you Alnilam. I won't be long there, I will just go and see and then I will come back." 

Alnilam, "It is not a proper time." 

"When will be the proper time? Tell me, what is the reason that you are keeping me here? Am I some kind of a dangerous creature who can destroy every world or what?" 

"The reason is, I don't want you to see all imperfections of other worlds. Can't you understand Luther, I am caring after you. I don't want you to get hurt. Other worlds are not so friendly as you think. You may become disappointed. And I don't want that." said Alnilam and went up to him. He took his hands and gently hold them. 

"But I won't get disappointed. I know that nothing is perfect in other worlds. But I want to see it. I want to see imperfection. Let me see it. I promise I won't get hurt!" 

Alnilam raised his face and looked into his blue eyes. Alnilam's face expressed tenderness. Despite being always serious and cold, with Luther his heart was always burning with tenderness. 
"Just wait a little bit. And then I will allow you to go beyond this world." 

"When? You always say so. But when will you allow?" 

Looking at Lucilius' stubborn face, he smiled and embraced him. 
Because of such tenderness, Luther was surprised. After all, Alnilam very rarely showed his feelings. In particular tenderness. But now, the way he hugged him made him wonder. 

"I just don't want you to see all horrors that exist down below. You are too precious for me. I want you to be happy and joyful." he whispered and looked at his face again. "I promise you I will always make you happy. But you should wait for now." 

Lucilius could not get angry for a long time and as if forgetting that he was angry, he smiled and said, "So I can play with Adria now?" 

"Yes. You can." 


The First Step Ceremony took place on a high mountain that stood right in the middle of the worlds. This mountain was called the Clairvoyant Mountain due to its location. It stood right between worlds and planets. And the view from this mountain was magnificent. The one who stood on it could see all the worlds. But only these worlds could not see this mountain. Due to the fact that everyone had their own reality, everyone saw what they should see. That is, stars and space and nothing more. 

The whole mountain was covered with greenery and flowers. In some places, snow lay on it. The climate on this mountain was neither cold nor hot. There was no air on it but the plants continued to bloom, feeding on the energy of the worlds around. After all, they were not simple flowers. These were flowers that were created from the cores of meteorites. Meteorites that were created at the very beginning of the universe. By splitting their cores, creatures from different worlds created seeds and scattered them throughout the mountain. 

"Look who is here!" 

"This is his mejesty Alnilam himself!" 

"Is this really him? I've never seen him before." 

"Why did he decide to come here? As long as I know him he is not the one who loves being among other creatures." 

"This will be an event! Finally I will tell everyone that I saw him with my own eyes." 

"There he is. Don't look at him." 

As Alnilam was approaching the crowd, all of them lowered their heads and eyes. 
Standing on one knee, they were looking down at their feet. They perfectly knew their places and how they should act in his presence. 
Even if Alnilam was showing satisfaction and joy from what he was seeing, in truth he felt himself so alone. In the depth of his soul he wished that all of them could speak and look at him like they behave with each other. 

"Your majesty. We are happy to see you here. You've made such an honor today." said young man in black clothes. 
Alnilam didn't remember who was he and from what world he was. Actually He doesn't remember the half of these creatures around. He stopped remembering them when the worlds number increased and it became meaningless to keep in mind every world and its inhabitants. 
"I think you don't remember such a simple man as I am. Let me introduce myself, my name is Bastien. I am from the world Nenectus. I am the representative of this world." he bowed again. His short black hair was almost glowing from its saturated color. His appearance was not usual. Except his body. What differed him from people and other creatures is the presence of the third eye just in the middle of his forehead. 
The inhabitants of the world Nenectus are able to see hidden dimensions and use them as they want. They are the creatures who can live in many dimensions. Their third eyes can provide them with such ability. They see many dimensions around them. And in a matter of seconds they can disappear from your view and already sit in other hidden dimension which can not be seen by others. 
"Bastien. I am glad to see you too. This eternity made me forget about you too." said Alnilam indifferently. 
"Such a King like you doesn't have to remember such a simple creature like me." Bastien bowed again. 

Alnilam quietly sighed and looked at Skymoon who was by his side. It was evident that he was so tired of all this pretentious acting. Even if he is the King, these creatures were not sincere. They were showing their respect out of fear. So he stepped forward and shouted, "I am here today to see the first steps of this new form of life! I am here to be the witness. And that is why lets put aside all this ceremony and start everything." 

They bowed again and cleared the path so he can go to the Throne which was on top of the mountain. 
As he was walking past the crowd, he could hear their whisper, "Who is this man with his highness?" 

"Skymoon introduce yourself." He said.

"I am the new Guardian of his highness. My name is Skymoon. I am from the Sirius clan." 

"Sirius clan?" 

"I heard that this clan has the best soldiers and warriors." 

"I bet he is very talented if he is escorting his majesty." 

Alnilam looked at the crowd again. These so familiar faces that they slowly became so unfamiliar with the time were showing simple emotions and feelings. Even if everyone was from different worlds, still they were similar. The same curiosity, the same rumors, the same desires to be the Leader, everything is the same. 
Some of them had different color of skin, some of them had different shape of eyes. But they all were humanoids. The species which are close to human race. Only their abilities were more powerful. 

"For what am I spending this eternity?" Alnilam thought and sat back to a throne.

"It is starting." someone said and everyone became silent. 

The tall creature who was wearing a long mantle and whose face was covered with a white veil appeared from somewhere. He was holding a long stick and on it there was a flag with the sign of the burning star. 
He raised the flag and said, his voice was resonating clearly, "In the name of His Perfectness I am declaring that this life will become the part of our family!" He raised the flag even higher and the Star which was hanging above the planet shed its first lights on to it. 
Everything became bright. So bright that it was hard to look. 
But Alnilam's gaze was directed to the tiny planet. 
The first Sunrays awaked the new life form and a little creature slowly stood up. It was hardly standing on its feet. It looked around and without understanding what is happening he made his first steps. 
The first step, the second, the third, and now he was officially alive and can be perceived as a new race. 

It was important for the new form of life to make exactly Three steps. 
Three steps in the name of Three Kings. 
So by making them the new form of life will welcome the Three arrows of time. It will have the present, the future and its past. 

"Let me introduce to you the world - Sagor! And the first creature you are seeing right now is the first inhabitant of Sagor - Sagorian." the veiled creature said and bowed to Alnilam. 

"I wish this world would bring many joy and development and be the best part of your kingdom your highness." said Bastien. 
And many white birds started flying above the mountain. 

"Let everything be everything. May the light shine brightly above Sagor!" Alnilam said and stood up. He looked upon the first Sagorian who was slowly walking and observing everything around. 
Alnilam looked at Skymoon who was standing behind him. His eyes were full of curiosity. It was the first time when he was participating in such an honored ceremony. 

"Skymoon, do you want to see Sagor? Come here. From this place you will be able to see it." he said and extended his arm. 
Everyone was looking in bewilderment.

"Come on. Take a look at first Sagorian." 

Skymoon, noticing crowd's curious eyes, didn't know what to do. It was Alnilam himself who was allowing him to sit to his Throne. 

"Don't stand there. I said come here and take a look." Alnilam showed to him the throne and stood up, "Why are you so slow? Come here." He went up to him and taking his hand led him to the throne. 
Putting him on the throne, Alnilam stood beside him and bent to his ear, "After this take me to your old house. Don't make me to be here any longer." 

Skymoon's whole body shivered and he felt himself awkwardly. Everyone was staring at him and at Alnilam who was standing by his side. 
He, his guardian was sitting in his place. 
"How will I explain this to the head of the clan? What will I say to him?" Skymoon asked himself and sat still on the throne.

The Kingdom where the time creation happens, where the all worlds are visible, where everything is just under your feet. This world is ruled by Three Kings, Alnilam, Alnitak and Mintaka. They exist from the beginning of all beginnings. And the world in which they live is filled with residents who are immortal ones. There is no death and no concept of time. Here, only those who control the three arrows of time: Past, Present and Future. Everything is under a proper control. Three Kings are looking after the Time Mechanism and do everything so it will never break. But if it breaks the whole Universe will be destroyed. 
As the main King of this world, Alnilam has to go through a lot to undertand how it feels to live as a simple human and enjoy every moment. He has to save the whole Universe by getting collapsed and undertand all secrets of being. The world under his leadership exists without any problems until he meets his main enemy and his soul mate.
After all, what is it like to be a simple resident of the Universe when you are only the King of all Kings.

Sliding his fingers across the piece of art that was the Hell4PRO gaming console, Ren Suo put it before his eyes together with that unknown circular gaming system, his eyes darting back and forth between them incessantly.
The Hell4PRO console was square in shape, with the logo of Hell Co. embossed on its top. It looked like four-layers of square boxes stacked together with a slight incline.
The Hell4 console looked like a three-layered box while the Hell4PRO console looked like a four-layered box. That was why this generation of console earned the nickname 'real gaming console from hell' online – a metaphor for the third and fourth levels of hell. Someone with too much time on his hands even made an image of Hell18 console on Photoshop. That's right – it was eighteen layers stacked together.
The Hell4PRO console came with a complete set of equipment – HDMI cable, original power cable, original USB cable, a Hell Co. exclusive wireless Bluetooth controller, original combat headphones and an official manual.
Now that was the gaming console set that Ren Suo was familiar with.
But the circular gaming console – or perhaps it could be described as a black circular object – completely eluded Ren Suo's imagination.
He had not the faintest idea how this thing worked and what it did.
If Hell4PRO was four boxes stacked together, then the circular gaming console was at least made of more than a hundred discs stacked together.
There was no logo, no cables, no controller. Nothing.
Compared with the Hell4PRO, the circular gaming console was as understated as a super millionaire who loved to eat at the roadside grill stand. Even with his boyish sense of aesthetics, Ren Suo thought that the circular gaming console looked way cooler than the Hell4PRO.
Its glossy black exterior, like a shell of crystal, attracted his eyes. Even if Ren Suo decided that this thing was useless, he would put it at home as a display piece. At least it looked cool.
He fussed over it for a few minutes, but still did not find the start button on the circular gaming console. Disappointed, he put it aside and turned his attention to the Hell4PRO.
When Ren Suo took the controller out of the box, he saw the blue light on the wireless Bluetooth controller light up.
At the same time, a blue glow emitted from the core of that circular gaming console. The machine started humming faintly. Just then, the wall-mounted TV in the living room turned on by itself.
Ren Suo stared dumbfounded at the myriad of colours exploding from the TV, which finally merged into a blue sphere. A crisp and chirpy voice exclaimed,
"Mini worlds of endless fun!"
Ren Suo looked down at the Hell Co. controller on his hands, then at the cable-less circular gamign console, then back at the DaMi LED TV which had turned on by itself.
"Who can tell me how this Hell Co. controller connected itself to this gaming console, and how this console connected itself to the TV?"
Just then, the screen turned black and new information appeared on it:
[Wireless Bluetooth 'Hell4PRO Game Controller' detected. Automatic connection completed.]
[4K display equipment 'DaMi L55M5-AB' detected. Automatic connection completed.]
[Dear gamer, welcome to the Mini Worlds Gaming Console. Mini worlds of endless fun await.]
[First-time user detected. Please register a World Account.]
Then a rectangular box appeared. Ren Suo's interest was piqued. This Mini World Gaming Console was pretty impressive – it could connect itself to Hell Co.'s controller and the DaMi TV wirelessly. It looked like future tech. But how could a hardcore gamer like himself not have heard of this gaming console before?
This name. It sounded like it was developed by a local gaming manufacturer. But most of the consoles produced domestically were junk…
Could this be a sampler for a new model? Why would it be delivered here then?
Ren Suo examined the delivery box of the Mini Worlds Gaming Console. The recipient was him, Ren Suo, indeed; even the address was perfectly correct. The only anomaly was that the name of the sender was one that he had never before seen – Neisser Co.
Ren Suo searched it up online, only to find that no information on this company existed. But he wasn't hung up on this. He turned around to look at the TV again. The screen was still showing the prompt for him to register a World Account.
"Name? Hmm? Can I use Xuanese pinyin?" Ren Suo was rather surprised. He recalled that only English could be used for personal accounts on the Hell4PRO. Now it seemed that this gaming console was most likely domestically-produced. It used Xuanese completely – an advantage for those Xuan Nation players tortured by English and Japanese.
Picking a name was easy for Ren Suo.
He was quite skilled at creating a name. In order to identify how his information was leaked from his junk messages and junk mail, he would always choose to use the name of the company directly as his own name.
For example, when creating an account for Penguin Telecommunications, his account was Penguin_Ren. His gaming account for Nine Cities Games was Nine Cities_Ren. Simple and vulgar.
He had in fact decided on the name Hell-Ren for his gaming account. If he couldn't use Xuanese, he would use English.
But now this gaming console was not from Hell Co.. It was called 'Mini Worlds Gaming Console'.
He couldn't call himself World_Ren, could he?
Ren Suo thought of the sender of the gaming console – Naisser Co. That Naisser Co. must have at least been the distributor of this gamign console, right? Should be right to look for them?
Hence, Ren Suo picked the name "Naisser_Ren".
A red glow suddenly burst out from the Mini Worlds Gaming Console and scanned Ren Suo from head to toe, frightening him. The screen read:
[Soul and physical data recorded. Apart from Naisser_Ren, no other information-bearing entity may use this product.]
[Naisser_Ren, Level 1 gamer. Welcome to Mini Worlds. Mini worlds of endless fun await!]
Immediately, the main menu appeared. Ren Suo did not see a single game on the screen. The background was Earth, nestled among a patch of stars. He could even tell all the stars apart in the Solar System depicted in the background. A leisurely music played in the background and Ren Suo soon relaxed himself.
"Nice screen, eh? But what games are there? Where can I top-up credit to buy games?"
Two large square options appeared on the screen: [World Store] [What should you best do now?]
Ren Suo picked [What should you best do now?], and a hint popped out:
[Your best option now is to access the free game of the week in the World Store.]
"Oh, there's even a free game?" Ren Suo was surpised. He recalled that all Hell Games members enjoyed a free game each month as well. But he had to purchase membership.
As for this Mini Worlds Gaming Console, all he had done was to register an account. He had not topped up any credit. Was there a free game already?
"Maybe it's just an ordinary mini-game. Like those arcade games…"
Ren Suo entered the World Store only to find it empty. There were only two options: [Free Game of the Month] and [Search]. When he clicked on [Search], a message popped out:

It seems like it wasn't meant to be....I tried to make the fanfiction while changing events and stuffing stuff inside. But it's too sloppy even if I fix that problem it still isn't a true fanfiction. Essentially what I have been doing is making self insert isekai fanfictions. This is good.....but if I ever want to improve my writing it needs to be better.

And so that brings us to a rework. I want to change the timelines, keep it realistic keeping in mind the characters opness and how fast he would accomplish his goals. I also want to fix the major problems of said story or world the mc goes to. I also want to explore never before things in that world, making a sort if story line before. Now this will be done making sure everything is chronologically correct too! Now doing this with huge worlds and story lines makes it take even longer.

Now you might ask why go to those worlds? Well here is the answer, the mc likes to be efficient in everything he does. Sure he will goof off here and there, for the sake of making the original characters better. But he still prefers to go to worlds in which he benefits the most. I mean ,who would want to take a long hard road to become the strongest? No they wouldn't they would take what they have and gain ,to become stronger faster.

Even a stuipid person would realize their speed is inferior to those that are smarter. Unlike the cliche stupid pure of heart self sacrificing masochists, this mc strives to be the best he can be. But! You will also know if you become too smart like omniscient.....everything will be boring but if you don't do so, you will likely get yourself killed! So you would basically program you own mind to delete those spoilers
(calculative future sight ect.) ,if they aren't so major. But you will also keep in mind that changing the time line ,effects the whole thing. So you will still use this ability but sort out the surprises that makes life interesting. Afterall you want to have fun but not die because of it.

So this character to the best of my capabilities, won't be cliche. He will see the underneath of the underneath. He will fix the problems of the worlds/universes he visits. It will be a long but short road considering his ultimate goal. Things in each world won't always be the same. As you know out of all fanfictions out there, the list of truley good ones wouldn't be even a percent of the total.

Yes this means it would take longer for the realease of chapters. But! When it does get released there will be a whole bunch of them. I plan on going with at least 300k per release. I will also put more comedy inside the best that I can. As you know op characters are fun to read but.....most fanfictions like that are trash. This is due to one major reason Plot!

Yes it's the basic structure of all stories, don't look at me like that, yes although it sounds simple and bland...it's needed. Plots need to be done on minor scales, as well as large ones. If the story is long enough ,it will also need a higher arching plot. Instead of just making up bs there is a finesse to it.

 If I had to adequately explain how hard it is to perfect this ,artform of writing. Well it's like being transmigrated into kabuto but housing kuruma while starting as a baby, with your regular knowledge. All anime knowledge except narutos world. While you try and get to other worlds. Still possible, but worse then a world lottery if there was such a thing, as you would need a s**t ton of willpower, planning,trail error,luck while trying to hide your increase in power. From all beings that seek you harm, including black zetsu who you can't sense...

Well I'm sorry for not living up to your expectations, but If i follow this route even for fun. I may someday be able to write a real adult book. I know that children books sell a hell alot more but where is the challenge? Even if it's just online ,it would be something noteworthy at least. Well sorry for no real chapter but as life is it is nothing like you expect it to be.

This has been officially out on suspension....but I may release up untill the end of the MHA arc. When I get to it so don't have your Hope's up. Writing is like ADHD to me when you hit a block you need to tackle it from a new angle and get inspiration. Otherwise your just wasting everyone's time. Yixi smiled and said," Don't praise yourself so much. Idiot."
" So How was shopping?" Yutang asked.
" It was fun. Your sister is very nice. I like her." Yixi said.
Before Yutang could ask anything the elevator door opened.
Grabbing Yixi's hand, Yutang pulled her outside and said," let's go to my office and continue."
Yixi laughed and asked," What do you mean by continue?"

As soon as they entered the office, Yutang pinned Yixi against the door.
Yixi giggled and said," You seem to be in a hurry Mr Boyfriend."
" What? I am just taking my dessert okay." Yutang said.
" You just had your dessert." Yixi said.
Tapping her nose, Yutang said," I want more."
Pushing him away, Yixi said," Let me see your office okay."
Scratching his neck, Yutang said," Yixi let's get married."
An Yixi laughed and said," Ya okay."
" I am serious baby." Yutang said.
Turning towards Yutang, Yixi asked," Seriously?"
Yutang nodded his head.
Pausing for a while, Yixi asked," Don't you think it's too early. I mean you don't even know me. We just started dating."
Pulling Yixi into his embrace, Yutang said," We know each other since college. What do you mean by early? I am sure that I love you and I want to spend my whole life with you. But if you still have your doubts then it's fine you can take your time."
Wrapping her arms around his neck, Yixi said," Silly. Who said that I have doubts? Even I am sure about this Yutang. I also want to get marry you. Like who doesn't want to marry a Rich chick like you?"
Yutang laughed.
Yixi stuck her tongue out and said," I want to take things a bit slow and moreover how can I accept such a bland proposal? No ring, no emotional speech, no flowers. Don't be so stingy Mr Yang. Don't forget that your friend gifted my best friend the worlds most unique wedding ring. My expectations are very high from you."
" So if I propose you with a ring, flower and an emotional speech you will accept my proposal?" Yutang asked.
" May be." Yixi said.
" Okay then. When I do that, you are not allowed to reject my proposal. I'll make you mine forever." Yutang said.
Ruining her hands on his hair, Yixi said," I am already yours."

Ben was running in the garden, while Li Quin and Rose strolling around hand in hand.
" Did you see my red file?" Quin aksed.
Rose nodded her head and said," Ya it is inside the wardrobe, right drawer."
Li Quin grinned.

" It is in the same place." Rose said.

" You have many black ties Quin. Which one are you talking about?" Rose asked.

" All your ties are in the same place." Rose said.
Grinning even wider, Li Quin asked," Did you-"
" What is wrong with you Quin?" Rose asked.
Li Quin shook his head and said," Nothing."
Rose glared at him. When she saw Quin grinning like and idiot, she punched him in his chest and said," Stop making fun of me okay."
Li Quin frowned and said," I am not making fun of you. It's just that-"
Pausing for a while, Quin said," It feels so good. You know where all my things are. We are staying in the same room. I feel like I have a wife now. And it feels very nice. I cannot wait to make you my wife for real."
Rose smiled. After that night, Rose shifted to Quin's room permanently. She had also started taking care of his things.
Hooking her arms around his arm, Rose said," Quin let's get married."
Quin widened his eyes in shock and asked," What did you say?"
Rose laughed and said," Let's get married."
Li Quin jumped in excitement and said," Really? Are you serious? You are not joking right? Wait give me second I am feeling dizzy."

Li Quin wanted to take her to the Civil marriage Bureau right away and make her his wife but he knew that there were things that he had to take of. Like Bens identity. Quin knew that only his brother was capable of doing something about that.
