In this Hellhole on the Moon called a city, I survived (mostly) as a bounty hunter for the big wigs. Not as if I have much uv'a choice on the matter... a girl gotta get her daily nutrishake y'know?

Night passed slowly, like drips of wax on a candle as the wick gradually burned down to the candle's base.
It didn't take long for the atmosphere around the association building to become somber. Everyone was excited to see Jack again and they all knew that the higher-ups for association headquarter would arrive the next day, but that mood subsided quickly.
The conference room door remained locked that entire day as well. Not a sound came from inside, giving others the impression that Jack had used the stone of silence.
Unaware of what Jack was doing or how he was trying to cope, the rest of the world kept spinning.
King Leodoro paid a visit to check on the situation. Tridon did the same, wanting to learn what happened on the trip. When they heard the news, neither decided to stay long and left.
At night, Zariff was at the bar on the first floor, a mug filled with the finest wine he had in front of him. It looked like the branch chief was having a staring contest with his drink.
"Dear, don't worry too much. Just drink up." A gentle hand grabbed Zariff's from the other side of the counter. "You know that he'll be okay. Give him some time."
"I'm not just worried about Jack." Without realizing it, Zariff didn't even bother calling Jack a brat. Burdened with too many thoughts and duties, Zariff didn't care about such a petty thing.
His curse had gotten worse, draining enough EXP to force Zariff down to lv. 35. It was only one level, but it was a heavy toll on Zariff's mentality since he had no way to stop it.
Also, Zariff would occasionally glance back at the reception desk to find it empty. He was also worried about his daughter. It's not like she had fallen in love with Jack, but she definitely cared about him. Every hour, on the hour, she would go up the conference room with a plate of food and knock on the door. She'd wait five minutes and then return to her desk duties.
"What's wrong? Do you not want your daughter getting too close to him? You know she'll have to leave one day with a man of her own, right?"
Marisha's verbal jabs hit Zariff's heart in a sore spot. He really had been too tough on his daughter. Whenever she tried to go on adventures, he wouldn't let her. If a boy ever tried to show interest in her, Zariff would scare the boy half to death and keep him from approaching his daughter.
He had never asked his daughter's opinion on anything. If she ever liked any of those boys, he would never know and he wouldn't give her a chance to leave his protection either.
Zariff's tough stance on parenting derived mainly from what had happened to Slivia, in fact. After finding her and learning what had happened, Zariff decided that such things would never happen to his daughter who was little at the time. He returned from that mission a different man, more caring toward his family but also overprotective.
"When will you let her live her own life outside of you?" Marisha kept talking and poking at her husband's heart. "Would you rather her eventually run away from us or help her find her own way? If she somehow manages to get that boy's heart, wouldn't that mean she'd be better off than staying with you all her life?"
It was like a bomb had gone if in Zariff's mind. His mind was always closed off and never bothered fully considering his wife's harsh words before. Now that his mental state was weakened by the recent events, his wife's words eventually reached him.
"You… really think so?" asked Zariff.
"How could I be wrong? You married me because I'm always right, right?"
With a loud sigh, Zariff let out a sad chuckle. "You're right…"
Marisha held his face and smiled. "Dear, you won't lose her, you never will. She just needs to grow up and live how she chooses. You and I both know that she's interested and getting to know more about Jack. She stopped trying before when Slivia arrived, but now she may want to try again."
"But isn't it too soon? With everything--"
"Everything will be fine," said Marisha with reassuring confidence. "From the look of it, Jack will never lack in female companions, but is that such a bad thing?"
Zariff groaned as he started chugging his drink. That was one of his biggest concerns regarding Jack. He respected the kid and would always be working with him, but it was evident that he would always attract more women.
In a cruel world like theirs, it wasn't too uncommon for people of great renown to have multiple women. Even King Leodoro had both a wife and two concubines. But would Zariff wish for his daughter to just be another number in some man's harem? Every parent wants the best for their child, especially when it involves their future partner.

Understanding what his wife was up to, all Zariff could do was grin and bear it. Offering his full support, he took his mug to the back of the kitchen. The kitchen was quickly shutdown before Marisha dragged her husband away.

Keela's friendly voice filled the dorm room. Across from Keela in the other bed, Maura smiled back at her new roommate. "It was nothing, don't mention it."

"Great!"
Both girls were happy at the moment as they finished their meal, temporarily forgetting the somber mood.
"Hey, Maura," Keela spoke up as she put her empty bowl to the side. "Can I ask you a personal question? If you don't want to answer, you don't have to."

Keela blinked and sighed, hesitant to ask. "Maura, do you like Jack?"

He was in the fifth standard while his brother was in the third. The school bell ranged louder that day. It was their weekend bell. He was told to meet after school for an assignment. So, He rushed out of the class to the office room. There, standing, holding an umbrella in his hand, was his dad talking to the principal.
His dad picked them up from the school, and the three of them started home from school, at six in the evening with his mind thinking about the nightmare he had last night. In that nightmare, he was running out of an old, scary, and half-demolished building towards his grandma's house. He was about to tell his dad when he got distracted by his friend waving his hand standing on the sidewalk.
 His mom's native is a village, 50km from Vizag, where his grandma lives. When he reached home, his mom was packing their luggage. "Haven't I told you to be early? we have to leave within an hour!" His mom shouted at his dad.
"Where are we going this weekend?" he asked mom, curiously. "To attend your aunt's wedding, we are going to our village," she said with a hurried smile on her face. At seven in the evening, his dad, mom, brother, and he started from their home to his grandma's village.
After entering the village, they have to cross a turning where the road is pretty bad and believe me when he said there were rumors that many people died at that turning. 
After crossing it, there was a speed breaker in front of an old abandoned building from where his grandma's home is only a few feet away. It was ten at night when they reached there. His aunt made a variety of items for dinner. Eating up to the brim, he chatted with our aunt, uncle, and relatives. He and his brother both slept, cuddling their grandma, listening to her bedtime stories in her room.
On the next day, when everyone was busy with the wedding arrangements, they both were playing, running on the road when his brother fell at the speed breaker. "What happened? How do you get this?" asked his grandma on seeing his brother's knee bleeding. "He fell over there!" he said, pointing at the old building.      
Her face turned pale with fear. She ran into the house and brought turmeric water and performed a Nazar ritual, thinking they got an evil eye on them.
As usual, they slept in their grandma's room, cuddling up to her, listening to her holy stories instead. That night, they both woke up for the toilet but couldn't find the way to the washroom. Then their dad came asking, "why are you roaming at this time of the night?"
"We don't know where the bathroom is!" he asked their dad. "You should have woke me up as the first thing!" holding their hands, dad was taking them out of the house.
 When they asked their dad why he was taking them out, he said, "Toilet in the house is under maintenance. So, we are going to use the toilet in our school." 
"Is that old building a school? Is it ours?" he started asking when his brother saw their dad sleeping on the floor along with the others in the main hall.
"Brother! Our dad is sleeping over there!" his brother looked at him in fear, and when he turned back, he saw a butchered arm holding his hand, and a woman was laughing standing on her head upside down with her feet in the air outside the main door.
They screamed out of fear and started crying, getting their whole family to woke up and came running to them, asking what happened to them.
When they explained everything, their grandma told their mom to perform the Nazar ritual on them one more time, but this time with more spirited items and warned them both. "Don't you ever dare to go there!"
Being frightened, they both cuddled over their mom and slept in the main hall where all the family members were sleeping. After some time, when he was about to fall asleep, he got tickled with someone's hair falling on his face.
When he woke up, he saw a butchered head with blood dripping from it, hanging to the fan. He forced close his eyes and hugged his mom even more tightly. Only then, the poor frightened Rahul could fall asleep that night.

Mike looked up at the walls up Morkove as he queued up to enter the city, the walls were about 10 meters high and soldiers could be seen patrolling around on top of the walls.
"Next!"
Mike walked forwards and showed his ID card to the guard that gave a nod and gestured for him to enter the city before he spoke again.
"Next!"
Mike walked past the gates and looked around, just inside the gates where a plaza with lots of stalls lined up that sold all kinds of things including foodstuff, Mike patted his stomach that was rather empty but decided against snacking right now as the group had planned to eat together before they split up so he patiently waited for the rest of the group to pass through the gates. It took some time for the carriage to pass through the inspection but it eventually did as the guards had to make sure there were no illegal contraband on the carriage, Ole stepped forwards and clapped Mike on the shoulder.
"Let's go benefactor Mike."
"Where to?"
"The guild, we're getting paid now."
Mike gave a slight smile as he gave a nod.
'I like the sound of that…'
The group went to the local adventurer's guild and got paid 800 for their work, after they got paid they unloaded their loot from the carriage and said their goodbyes to Hans. Mike picked up his loot pile with some difficulty and followed after Ole and the others that headed towards the blacksmith district of the city. While Mike walked along he looked around at the lively city, there were all kinds of people on the streets, some had long ears while others had beast like parts like fluffy ears and tails or outright looked like beasts that walked on their hind legs, some were also short like dwarfs. Soon the group arrived at the blacksmiths district and began selling their loot. After about half an hour of bargaining Mike had sold all his loot for 950, in the end he also decided to sell the rusty chainmail instead of keeping it, now his small leather pouch was almost at full capacity as it held 1.863, this was the largest amount of money Mike had held since he arrived in this world.
'... Since a week in an inn was 100 I have just secured myself 18 weeks in an inn where I can laze around if I want to… Let's spend some money on some proper equipment and then maybe some on getting taught by someone that knows how to use daggers and knives…'
While Mike had the [Knife control] passive skill that increased his dexterity while wielding daggers and knives he still was rather poor at using knives in general so getting some training in would be good for his continued survival, after all he had so far relied on his superior weapon and lethal active skill [Drink].
'If I want to use [Drink] I have to go solo adventuring… Let's get some training in before that.'
Mike leaned against a wall and waited for the others to finish bargaining with their loot, after about half an hour Jasmine showed up with a satisfied smile on her face and walked over to Mike before she asked him.
"Did you get a good price?"
"Yeah I think so."
"I see… That's good then."
"What about you?"
"Well I suppose it was somewhat good, could have been a little better but I am satisfied."
"That's good, where are we heading after this?"
Jasmine gave a smile.
"To the local bar of course, we have to celebrate."
"Ugh… I am not that good at drinking"
Jasmine gave a laugh before she saw that Mike was serious and somewhat awkevedly asked.
"What you didn't have a bar in the village where you grew up?"
"Well we did, that's where my dad spent his days"
".... Did he drink a lot?"
"Yeah, like a hole in the ground."
"... I see, no wonder you're not good at drinking, but don't worry this sister will teach you."
Mike gave a slight smile as he gave a nod, as Mike and Jasmine chatted the others showed up and as usual Ole took the lead and led the 5 adventures and Mike to a nearby inn, the sleeping goat inn.
'What a weird name…'
Mike stepped into the inn and found it was somewhat like the inn in the small town, just a size bigger, soon the group was gathered around a table each of them with a mug of ale in their hand, Ole raised his mug.
"Come let's drink to our benefactor Mike!"
""""Cheers!""""
"C-Cheers."
Mike was a little taken aback by their enthusiasm but also raised his mug before he took a sip.
'...T-This is surprisingly good.'
 "Come on drink Mike!"
"S-Sure."
Mike quickly took another sip, this time he drank a rather big amount and almost coughed but managed to keep it down. After drinking for about an hour Mike was more or less drunk and suddenly stood up from his seat, Jasmine that sat next to him called out to him.
"Mike where are you going?"
"Toilet…"
"Sure but be quick about it will ya, we still have a lot more to drink!"
"Jasmine is right, this isn't nearly enough for us to express our gratitude!"
"Ole not you too… Fine I'll be quick."
Mike walked in a somewhat straight line out to the bathroom and after he was done taking the longest piss of his life he walked back to the table and sat down as Jasmine purred him another mug of ale, Mike gave a silent sigh and took a sip of the ale before he asked Ole.
"So what are you guys going to be doing now?"
"Well we'll rest for a day and then find another request and take it, what about you Mike?"
"Hmm… I'll stay in the city for a bit before I take a request."
"Got it, be sure to come to us if you need a party we'll welcome you with open arms!"
"Sure will do… But now it's time for me to hit the hay…"
Mike stood up and began slowly walking in a mostly straight line towards the stairs, Jasmine also stood up and quickly spoke.
"I'll help him up the stairs."
Ole narrowed his eyes slightly before he gave a nod and spoke.
"Do it in moderation Jasmine."
Jasmine ignored him and ran up to Mike before she held him by the arm and helped him up the stairs.
"Thanks Jasmine, I got it from here…"
"Come on now no need to by shy."
The two of them stumbled into Mike's room which he paid for before they began drinking (for an entire week to be precise) Mike stumbled and fell onto the bed face first meanwhile Jasmine closed the door before she stirpped off her top with a seductive look on her face and whispered to Mike that still lay face first in the bed.
"Hey Mike~ Don't you want some of this?"
In response to her seductive advances Jamine got:
*SNORE*
A loud snore from Mike.
".... Hey you're kidding right Mike?"
*SNORE*
"... Well this works for me too"
Jasmine gave a sly smile and flipped Mike over before she quickly searched him and found her prize: the sacrificial knife.
'If I can sell this magic weapon I'll be rich and long gone will be the days of risking my life and a life of luxury will await me!'
Jasmine ever so carefully reached out for the knife and grabbed it by the hilt, when she did she felt her head suddenly getting heavy before she felt a light poke form the hilt of the knife.
"Ouch!"
Jasmine let go of the knife and saw a small wound from which blood slowly dripped on her hand.
"What the fuck?.."
She quickly pulled her hand back and looked at the knife with shock as Mike suddenly stirred and then a dull red light shone in the depths of her eyes for a few moments before it disappeared.
'Well whatever there will be plenty of changes to get the magic weapon in the future…'
Jasmine put on her top and left the room, meanwhile the drop of blood that had dripped from her hand down onto the floor floated up before it was suddenly pulled into the knife that gave a soft red glow as the number '1' formed on the blade before it disappeared as Mike's snoring continued sounding out inside the room as the night gradually grew darker…

The next morning Mike awoke with a splitting headache and a mouth that felt like a sandpaper.
'Water…'
Mike sat up in bed and reached out for the water jug that stood on the night table and drank it entirely in one go, now feeling a little more alive Mike stretched before he opened his hand and the knife flew over and landed in his hand, Mike gave a nod.
'Let's go to the temple today… Hopefully it won't end like last time…'

My cheeks got hot just thinking about what he was walking about. We walked back to the picnic, and sat down. There was cheesecake, sandwiches, noodles, donuts, vegan chicken. "This looks so good!" He handed me a plate. "Of course it does I was the one who set it up!" I  smiled at him and shook my head. I filled my plate with vegan chicken, noodles, and a sandwich. I was really hungry after all the roller coasters and walking. "What is your favorite food?" He asked while keeping his focus on his food. "Cheesecake. My dad's homemade cheesecake is the best. Whenever it was a cold day, or if I was sad. He would make me a cup of hot chocolate and a slice of cheesecake." He looked up from his plate. Then he looked in the basket that he had brought and pulled out a plate full of cheesecake with cherries on top. It was sloppy. Definitely not store bought. "I made this for you. I found your dad's recipe and I thought you might like it." My dad never gave me the recipe he always said that it was a secret recipe from my mother. How did Taylor get it? He knows more than he's saying, and not just about the cheesecake. I took a bite of it. "It's really good!!" I lied it tasted like a four year old made it. "Liar, I messed up but I still wanted to make it special." I smiled. "Thanks." We set our plates down.

We layed down on the blanket and looked up at the stars. "If you could have any super power what would it be?" He asked me. "Probably telekinesis so that I could smash cake in your face all the time." I laughed. "Well I would want to have the power to fly." "How come?" He closed his eyes. "You can look at the world in a whole different way. When you're up close you don't always see the beauty in things because you get too focused on your own thing. But when you are far away just watching you see everything." He put his hands in the air and moved his hands in a circular motion like he wanted to touch the stars. "Wow. Never thought about it like that."  Taylor took my hand and traced the lines on it. I closed my eyes and just let him hold my hand. I fell asleep. 

When I woke up Taylor was laying me in his bed. He kissed my forehead. "Shhhhh." He said. Then he moved to the spot next to me and wrapped his arms around me. He seems a little too nice for someone in a gang. There's just something a little off about him. Like when you have a bad feeling about something. "You okay?" He said as he pulled me closer and wrapped the blankets around me. I snapped back into reality and I felt as if he could read my mind. "Yeah everything is good. Thanks for taking me to the park today! It was really fun!" I said with a smile. "Good." He smiled and rested his head on my head. I fell back into a deep sleep telling myself that I would figure out what he was hiding. I felt like a chip of my heart was chipped just thinking about spying on him. It's for my family. For my mom, my brother, and my dad. I won't give up.

"Good morning troll!!" I woke up with my tired legs entangled with his. My eyes made it hard to adjust to the beaming sun coming through the big windows in his room. "You're a troll!!" I said while rubbing my eyes and yawning. "Come on I made breakfast!!" He pulled me out of bed holding me like a baby. "I have legs ya know." He didn't seem to care he was too excited. We got downstairs to see a table full of pancakes, syrup, vegan butter, fruit, fake bacon, tofu eggs and avocado toast. "Do you like it!!!" He said as he set me down. He reminded me of an excited child trying to show his parents something that he was proud of. "Yes I love it!!! You didn't have to do all of this for me though." He smiled and walked over to me. "You're my fiancee. My future wife, I wanna take care if you and know how to cook for you." He took my left hand and brought it to his mouth. Then he kissed my ring finger. I feel safe around him when he is all bubbly and happy, but I just have a feeling he's hiding a lot.

I sat down next to him at the table. His dad walked in with his phone in hand and a coffee mug. All I could think about was the bruises all over my brother and father's face. I stood up. "Did you beat up my brother and my father?" I said with a serious face. Taylor stood up next to me. His dad looked away from his phone. "Yes I did." Then he looked back at his phone. I moved around the table toward him. Taylor grabbed my waist before I could reach him. He looked up from his phone again. "Listen to me Stormy. I am one of the most important gang leaders in the world." He moved closer to me. I tried to keep eye contact. "And it wouldn't be a problem to get rid of a little girl and he family." Taylor let go of me. I glared at Taylor's dad. "After you two are done with breakfast come to my office. We need to talk about the will." He said as he left the room.

"Stormy you can't do that!! He could hurt you!!" Taylor said while shaking my shoulders. "It's okay Taylor. He couldn't do anything to me even if he wanted to because I am the key to his power." Taylor looked at me with a dark look. "But he could kill your family. He could also kill you after we are married and make it look like it was an accident. Don't mess with him okay?" "Okay." I said. Wow I knew his dad was horrible, but not that horrible. " let's eat." He pointed to the food. We both sat down. I took two pancakes and put butter on them with fruit and some vegan whip and syrup. Then I got some fake bacon. I tried the vegan pancakes and they were so good!! "You know I thought I would never forgive you for messing up my dad's recipe. But dude this is delicious!!" I said. "Oh whatever!" He said. We ate and then we put the dishes in the sink and I started walking ahead of him to his dad's office but he stopped me. He pulled me back. "Don't offend him. He will hurt your family even more." I nodded. He put his hand on my back and guided me to his dad's office.

I ran and ran, crying. Tears streaming down my face thinking "How could they have done this?" Nothing feels real anymore I feel like I am numb all over, I can't feel anything. My legs ache from running so fast and my lungs can't seem get enough air. I start to feel dizzy, and I feel the entire day slip away as my face hits the hard cement. The last thing I see is the bright lights from the street and hear someone calling my name.

When these words were said all the students below were stunned then went in an uproar it was the first time they had seen someone that came from the 3 great colleges, even Sam didn't know how to react! 

He wanted to shine at this moment and his dream became reality but he didn't expect that he'll meet someone from the legendary Kraken's depths right away. 

Ottar clearly saw confusion, expectation and worship in Sam's eyes which meant that he had a chance to get his hands on him

 "Sam, I came here because I know the vice-chairman and we are in need of talented students in the north so I decided to check this batch of tested and here you appeared before me ! Don't you think it's destiny ? Come with me to the north, I'll arrange for you to spend 3 years in the best affiliated high school and then you'll be directly admitted as a Kraken" 

The old man seemed frantic to get his hands on Sam. Sam was delighted but then asked the old man

 " Mr. Ottar it's an honor to get invited to join the Kraken but my element is the thunder and I heard that your school specializes in water and ice students". 

Ottar looked deeply at the kid in front of him, only 15 years old and he stayed calm under the invitation of one of the three giants and kept his thinking straight, he felt some admiration for him so he answered

 "You don't need to worry about this, last year there was an auction held by the Roc's nest where they sold lots of relics from the past and amongst them was a book left behind by the only one from the first generation that used thunder and lightning, it was indeed a useless book to us at that time but we bought it at an astronomical price to show that we were not afraid of the Dragon's gate. Now this book is in our hands and it will finally have a use, with this book and your S grade talent there is no difference between you and the Dragon's gate's S grade !" 

Light shone in Sam's eyes, 4 years ago the Dragon's gate made an announcement that they found an S grade fire compatible kid which made them take the lead in front of the other two giants, that guy was shown on TV and Sam has seen him at that time, he was born in Australia and lost his parents in an attack by a beast horde very young, he then lived in an orphanage and had then caught the attention of the Dragon's gate when he was graded as an S grade in the test. He took the name of Long Dier after becoming a Dragon and was adopted by Long Diyi, he was now 19 years old and was known around the world for being the youngster with the most potential. 

Not only was he strong, he was also one of the richest in the world because of his father which is someone from the first generation of Hunters and he was also very handsome : deep blue eyes, brown hair, square face. 

The perfect opposite of Sam but he wasn't jealous, until today he always saw him as an unattainable existence so he was more like a fan, but now ? He can definitely fight for the place of strongest youngster in the world with him ! 

Sam didn't need to think any longer and answered right away, his eyes were shining with self-confidence for the first time, he knew that it'll take time to reach the heights Long Dier was at but he'll reach them eventually and take over the title of strongest youngster in the world

 "I'll join your school, please take me with you !"

Of course he thought about joining the Dragon's gate but would they let him grow stronger than Long Diyi's son ? That was very improbable.

Ottar was infinitely happy, he looked into the chairman eyes and saw disappointment and worry. 

He didn't understand what he was worried about but he had gotten his hands onto a unpolished diamond so he didn't need to care, he told Sam

 "I'll leave you one day to prepare, go home pack your things and say goodbye to your family and friends because you won't see them for a while, I'll come and pick you up tomorrow morning."

Sam nodded and ran out of the hall, his mother was holding his little sister outside. His sister's name was Sophie, she was 2 years old and dressed very warmly because it was in the middle of the winter at the moment so she seemed very cute with only her little face visible. 

Sam ran to his mom and hugged her right away, she didn't get what was happening so she thought maybe he failed and was depressed, she said " Don't worry Sammy, mom understand. It's not important, you can just do like your brother and live a normal life. You know me and your dad aren't living a bad life, I love this peaceful life and you should do the same." 

Sam instantly laughed, he let his mom and little Sophie which was looking curiously at him go and said "I didn't fail mom, I got an S grade and I'm proficient in thunder. I've been taken in by one of the Kraken's high schools and three years from now I'll be a Kraken myself !" 

His mom was stunned and people around him looked at him like a crazy man, what would one of the three giants come here to do ? And he even proclaimed he was an S grade. 

Some people even started to laugh out loud but when the rest of the students came out of the hall the ambiance became weird, even those that made it into affiliated schools were too calm and they all looked at Sam, some with worship, other with jealousy but no one of them seemed indifferent. 

People started to realize that something was weird with this atmosphere so they asked their kids, one middle aged fat woman that was laughing a few seconds ago said 

" Maxime, how did it go ? Did you get a good grade ? Your dad and moms result were good when we were young so you can't get anything bad right ?" 

And she looked at him with expectation. He looked at her and robotically answered

 "Yeah, not bad, I have a B+ grade. I'll be sent to a Roc's nest affiliated high school in the next few weeks." 

His mom was crazy with joy but her son didn't seem like his was happy so she asked him 

"What's wrong Maxime ? Why are you so down ?"


He replied while grinding his teeth 

" I could have had the best result if that guy didn't show up, he scored an S grade, was taken directly by the Kraken's depths and he even got compared to Long Dier by that old man from the Kraken" 

When people heard from Sam nobody believed it but now every kid was describing what happened inside so nobody had any doubt anymore, a few of the people there directly went to Sam's mother to congratulate her but she wasn't out of her daze yet, Sam took her hand and pulled her to the car. 

Finally when they got in the car she calmed down looked at her son and smiled from deep inside, she told him

 "I knew it, my son isn't made to spend a banal life ! Let's go and get yourself ready, tomorrow is the start of your journey Sammy !" 

Sophie didn't understand anything but seeing her mother and brother so happy made her smile as well. When he got home his dad was still at work and his brother wouldn't come home until the next weekend so he just left him a message inside his room where he told him what happened and good byes. 

His dad will be home late at night when everybody was sleeping and he wouldn't wake up until noon next day so he just told his mother to pass him the same message as his brother and went to sleep after taking dinner. 

He wanted to see and talk to his dad one last time before going for so long but he couldn't miss his flight tomorrow because he overslept right ?

The next morning after taking his breakfast he went outside with his mother and sister while holding his luggage, they took the car and went straight to the airport everybody was feeling different emotions, his mother was worried and sad that her son will leave her for so long, Sam was feeling expectant and Sophie was just playing with her fluffy toy and didn't understand anything that was happening at the moment. Arrived at the airport Ottar was already waiting for them, at the moment he was higher in the hierarchy than Sam but in just a few years time Sam will become the Kraken's ace so he didn't dare to make him wait, Sam and his mother went to greet him and she acted very respectfully as her son's future was in this old man's hands. Before going Sam kissed his mom and sister and told her 

"Mom I'll call you every week. Sofia I won't see you for the next few years, you better not forget me when you see me again !" 

After this he waved at them and went inside the airport with the old man and went directly toward the boarding gate.
