This story has no real plot every page is a story (most likely it will be 2-3 pages per story) its just a bunch horror stories

As Alex turned towards the huge enraged man, he could see a prompt.
[2 minutes]
'Ah shit. Only 2 minutes? I'll need to be quick to defeat this guy. If not, I'll just be dead meat.'
Alex said as he ran head on towards the man. He could guess that his current strength was similar to the man's. But this main reason to attack now was as this might be his only chance at defeating him.
Alex had a plan.
He rushed to the man's head one; the man did the same.
*BOOM!*
The two punched, hitting each other's fists.
Both were blown back by the force, but Alex managed to get up as soon as he fell.
"ARG!!!!!!" The man screamed in pain. It seemed like they fell on his back, which caused the dagger to sink in deeper into his back, hurting him even more.
Alex knew that this was the perfect moment, one quick attack to the man's jaw and he would be unconscious.
"Let's end this here!" Alex roared as he once again ran straight towards the man.
The controlled man couldn't move, his legs were shaking, blood drenched his body. He could do nothing but await his fate.
*Bang!*
A swift kick to the jaw.
It was clean and precise, the enhances speed and strength by the Might was just amazing.
'Is he unconscious?' Alex said as he watched the man's body slide across the ground by the force of his kick.
Alex quickly hurried to the body. He needed to take his dagger as well as check if the man was unconscious or not.
[Player out of combat]
'After hearing these words, Alex felt relieved. He knew that this meant the man was unable to fight him anymore.'
Alex walked to the man's body, a small dagger had penetrated the man's back very deep. It was close to the spinal cord, which meant that some important arteries and veins were cut. If the man didn't get help soon, he would die from bleeding.
'It looks like I can't take my knife out, it's the only thing preventing him from bleeding even more.' Alex said as he looked at the dagger. But as soon as Alex saw blood, another thought came into his mind.
'Wait, the girl!' Alex quickly ran towards the girl and checked her pulse.
*BOOM!* but before he could, the doors behind him flew by sheer force. Someone had forcefully opened it.
"Alex! Are you okay?" A familiar voice entered Alex's

Alex ignore the prompt of him gaining expansion, looked towards the source of the sound. As soon as the doors opened, a woman ran inside, a gun in her hands.
"I'm fine. This person seemed to be under some influence or mind control. At first he sounded human but then he started to say things like, 'I'll kill you human!' or 'Foolish human'… He didn't speak like he was a human himself. But it doesn't matter, you can question him yourself. I didn't kill him, I just hurt him. A lot." Alex answered to Hana. He then looked towards the girl and said, "Save this girl first! Her pulse felt so weak, and she has lost a lot of blood…"
Hana shook her head, "You might have already guessed, but this was a test, just gone completely wrong… We don't know what happened so you will be questioned. I can't do anything about that. I will do the questioning myself so you don't need to be worried about harsh treatment. For now, just follow me." Hana looked towards Alex with a serious expression.
Alex nodded, but then looked towards the man, more specifically the dagger in his back. "My weapon is lodged into the man's back. I didn't remove it as it could cause more damage and might have been the fatal blow and killed him. Will I get it back?" Alex had no other weapon, plus the skill he acquired from the reapers required him to have their Dagger. He didn't want to lose it.
Hana looked towards Alex with a hint of surprise, "I'm surprised that you defeated Rhino. If you have that much power, that means you could be useful to us. So we will give you your weapon back, don't worry. But it might be examined before. I don't know. My mind is just currently filled with many, many questions. All of them are about you, Alex. This situation is very confusing." Hana said as she waited for Alex.
"Now, hurry up. The soldiers will clean up the place and keep Rhino locked up. He will then be interrogated, but you don't need to know all the details."
Hana looked outside and said in a louder voice, " It's clear. Rhino has been dealt with, no casualties. Suspicion of Reapers being involved in this. I will take Alex_01 for questioning on what happened."
Alex looked outside and was surprised to see a lot of military outside, standing ready. Hana seemed to have a lot of influence over them.
"MAAM! I disagree." Another familiar voice yelled.
"Captain, I know you well enough by now. But do remember that I am your superior as well as the head of investigation. I have all the rights to call the shots here. Last time you did the same by trying to refute my words on taking this one to the facility myself. I ignored it. But this time, I will remember your actions. Speaking of remembering things, Do you remember my powers after I awakened? Or is your refutal for another reason?" Hana replied in a stern and angry tone. She seemed to dislike how the man spoke to her.
"Uh. No ma'am! I apologise for doubting Maam's powers. This will not happen again." The man quickly apologised by bowing down. Alex was just surprised to see his actions. He was even more surprised by Hana's words. 'What is her power? I don't even know yet… To be someone who is in charge of investigations… she must some special powers…' Alex said to himself as he looked towards the woman's back.
"Go and do your jobs. Call in more medics as well. Rhino is hurt." Hana said in an annoyed tone as she walked outside. Alex quietly followed behind.
As Alex followed, he could see that the facility was under some kind of lockdown. The windows were covered, blocked by iron curtains. Letting no light enter or escape. There were helicopters in the air. Military personnel with weapons had their aim on Alex the entire time he followed Hana.
'It seems like they still don't trust me. The only reason they didn't use force on me must be because I'm with Hana.' Alex took a deep breath of relief. He couldn't imagine how the military would have taken him if Hana wasn't there, especially after he saw how the captain was still glaring at him.
'What did I do to him anyway?' Alex questioned by the captain disliked him so much. It seemed dumb that he would just glare at him like Alex was some type of criminal.
"Don't worry about him. That damn captain is only acting like that because of the past. He can't seem to let go of what happened. It's partially my fault that your getting glared at like that, but It's okay. If you were able to take down Rhino, you will be important to us. I will explain more than we travel to the questioning faculty. But once we enter there, you will be the one that will do the explaining, not me so be completely truthful, I have my ways to know lies." Hana opened the door of the car and smiled towards Alex.
It was the first time Alex saw Hana smile that way. He could help but replay the memory of her smiling in his mind. 'How can a woman be this beautiful?'
"Are you going to enter the car or just continue staring at me?" Hana said as he pointed to a seat.
Alex laughed awkwardly and quickly entered the car.
Hana just shook her head and entered the car after Alex, "Men will always be like that."
Alex just smiled and waited.
"Okay, I guess you already had a hunch that it was a test, right?" Hana asked.
"Uh, I did guess that it was a test. Everything seemed too conveniently placed. How could people not think that it was a test?" Alex said as he remembered the situation. It was all too perfect: Dark lights, a heavily injured person and a big bad guy.
Hana nodded, "It was indeed a test, a cliche one, but cliches are used for a reason. They work."
Alex agreed with Hana, cliches work.
"But if it was a test, then why do you need to question me on what happened. Weren't you all watching on video? It would be dumb to make the test but not have anyway to watch the test while it goes on, right?" Alex asked Hana.
"You are correct. We did have cameras hidden all over the room, but all of them were jammed. As soon as we found out, we tried to open the doors to find out what happened, but everything was locked. We could have come to save you as soon as we realised something was off, but it seems like you didn't need it."

Unlike many of the other exercises in that book, I found that this one actually worked and was really really useful.
I've used the exercise as a great way to think out loud without having to worry about half-formed ideas, random tangents, private stuff, and all the other things in our heads that we often filter out before ever voicing them or writing about them. It's a daily brain dump. Over time, I've found that it's also very helpful as a tool to get thoughts going that have become stuck, or to help get to the bottom of a rotten mood.

I've tried writing my 750 words a day on Livejournal, Wordpress, PBWorks, Tumblr, and all of these other sites designed around putting content online. It hasn't worked for me. I fear that I might accidentally forget to mark daily pages as private. And it's just weird having my private brain dumps out on various sites that are designed to be more social. I don't need to title my entries, or tag them, or enable comments, or any of that other stuff. This is writing, and it's online, but it's not blogging, or Twittering, or Facebook status updating. This is between you and you.
★ 3 Pages = 750 words
I looked this up. 250 words per page is considered to be the standard accepted number of words per page. So, three standard pages are about 750 words. Of course if 750words.com hadn't been available, I would've totally found a way to prove that 249 words per page was the accepted standard. It really just comes down to the fact that this amount of writing feels about right. You can't just fart out 3 pages without running into your subconscious a little bit... 750 words takes a bit of effort, and it never fails to get me typing thin

If you write two, three or more days in a row, you get even more points. It's fun to try to stay on streaks and the points are a way to play around with that. You can also see how others are doing points-wise if you're at all competitive that way. How I see it, points can motivate early on, and eventually the joy of writing will kick in and you'll be writing without any external motivation at all.

Alex, a 20-year-old guy was a born loser.
In a world filled with superheroes, he had to live a horrible life. But this all changed when he was approached for an opportunity, something too good to deny.
A simple and easy scouting mission. After it was done, they would give him a huge reward. But the mission wasn't what Alex expected, it was a blur and the next thing he knew, there was a voice in his head, [Does player Alex want to continue?]

But when Zhao Xu started taking in all that knowledge, he realized that he had been thinking about this too simplistically.
There were so many players who chose to be Wizards, and the fastest among them took seven days to graduate from the training for a good reason.
It was like making a middle school student study high school math. It wasn't impossible, but it would be difficult.
The amount of studying needed in high school wasn't as much compared to university, but they had to go through it over and over again throughout their three years in high school, just so that they could apply it on the spot when they were faced with a question during the high school exams.
The time given for high school exams wasn't enough for each student to take their time and think about it, so many students were well versed in answering techniques and used their experience in tackling questions to deal with the lack of time.
Spells were like that, too.
The formation, words, and positions all had to become instinctive.
Zhao Xu had learned how to cast spells over the past few days of studying, and most of the work was done within that one hour he had each day to decide which spells he was going to cast.
The actual act of casting spells was like driving a car. The spell was already there, just like how the car was already assembled.
But this process required everyone to put their hearts and minds together.
Wizards couldn't possibly flip their spellbooks open at the last minute to check what they had to say in order to cast a spell when they were faced with danger. Their enemies would just laugh at them.
But Zhao Xu got a headache just reading the various words of a spell out loud.
But this didn't slow Zhao Xu's progress down too much, and he was still in line with the schedule Antonya had planned. This sort of thing required him to repeat spells several times to solidify the process in his mind anyway.
So he more or less finished looking through the two books on spell preparation and spellcasting after five days and moved on to the book on cantrips.
"The spellbooks that we wizards use are written in arcane texts and there are some similarities among them, but each wizard has to add on something extra to it. So even if I give you a spellbook now, you have to use an Arcana check in order to be able to decode the book and read it properly."
What Antonya was really saying was that every spellbook had an additional layer of protection and you needed the key to translate it into something you could understand.
Arcana was a skill that the characters in Arthur had. Just like Perception and Sense Motives, they were skills that required points and practice.
Zhao Xu hadn't reached the course on advanced Arcana yet, so it didn't matter for the time being.
"You're able to read the spells in this book because this Encyclopedia of Cantrips has been specially configured. Or rather, when the owner of the spellbook has allowed you to read it, you won't have to use Arcana."
"And using the cantrip Read Magic, wizards can also read spellbooks that haven't been specifically sealed by others without any problems."
Zhao Xu nodded as he listened. In other words, the Read Magic spell was the key to opening all sorts of spellbooks.
So it seemed like using arcane words was a way wizards tried to protect their spells. They made them complicated so that it would be difficult for non-wizards to read them, so then wizards came up with a spell that could decode the words.
They were protecting themselves against the other classes, not other wizards.
"But you must remember that a spellbook is the foundation of every wizard. You don't need a spellbook to prepare the Read Magic spell, but for all other spells, wizards must have a spellbook with spells already copied into it in order to prepare spells and cast them."
Antonya spoke very slowly and gravely.
Zhao Xu had heard about how wizards in his previous life had gone broke from copying spells, so he couldn't help but ask out of curiosity, "Mentor, is there a price to pay for copying spells?"
Antonya passed a book to Zhao Xu instead.
After Zhao Xu took it from her, he opened it up. It was also another thick tome, but this book was completely empty inside. He touched it and estimated that there were about 100 pages in it. But since every sheet was made from parchment paper, it looked pretty thick.
He looked back at Antonya a little confusedly and didn't understand what she was trying to tell him.
"Once you've taken one full day to study spells, you can start copying spells into your own spellbook. The number of pages required will depend on the level of the spell, and even a cantrip will require one page even though it's considered level 0."
Zhao Xu frowned when he heard this. Taking one day to study just one spell was already a problem in itself, but the other problem was that 100 pages were only enough to copy up to eleven Level 9 spells. These spellbooks ran out of pages very quickly, so he would have to carry many spellbooks on himself.
"Also, each time you copy one page, it will cost you 100 gold pieces. You rookie wizards get a special concession, and the association will cover the cost of copying all cantrips as well as three Level 1 spells. So you don't have to worry about that."
Zhao Xu had heard that the price of copying spells was high, but he didn't expect it to be this exorbitant.
"Mentor, who do I have to pay this money to?"
"It doesn't go to anybody. It's just the cost of the materials used. The spellbook for copying spells, the special goose feather pen required, the specially processed ink, and the incense sticks for lighting up the place where you copy the spells would average around 10,000 gold pieces for copying 100 pages worth of spells, and so we've all agreed that it will cost 100 gold pieces per page."
"If you don't cover these costs, then there's no way you could copy spells that carry magic in them and you wouldn't be able to cast them."
After Zhao Xu heard this, he could just sigh and say that wizards were really poor and led really difficult lives.
There were so many special requirements. No wonder nobody thought of mass printing spellbooks in his previous life.
If you didn't have enough assets, there was no way you would be able to spend money on reproducing spellbooks like that.
"That's the way it is if you either copy from memory or copy from a spell scroll. If you copy from someone else's spellbook, then you could get a check and the cost and time of copying would be halved to just 50 gold pieces a page. That's also the result of a calculation."
Zhao Xu perked up when he heard those words.
But he didn't need to see her face to know that Antonya was probably grinning away under that cloak of hers, just waiting for him to make a fool out of himself.
He had to pay membership fees even if he just wanted to stream a comedy online.
But these people weren't stupid. Even if another wizard lent you a book, and you could copy it at a faster rate than normal, it meant that the owner of the book wouldn't be able to use any of the spells in that book while it was being borrowed.
It took 50 gold pieces per page to make a duplicate of your own spellbook, and nobody would do something so dumb unless they had to.
Antonya didn't wait for too long and explained it to him directly. "Nowadays, borrowing a book just to read costs 50 gold pieces per page too. And some really rare spells require you to either pay more or you might not get to read them at all."
Zhao Xu nodded at her words. The cost of borrowing a book was exactly the same as the amount saved by copying from someone else's spellbook.
That meant that borrowing a book to copy spells would cost 100 gold pieces per spell.
"So now you have to make a decision between two choices."
"Your first choice would be to take the book in my hand." As she said this, Antonya suddenly pulled out another book from absolutely nowhere and sent it flying into his hands. It was a 30 by 15-centimeter book that was about 15 centimeters thick, and it had a metal cover with a lock on the side.
"That's the goddess' Blessed Book. It's a Wondrous Item. Because the process of creating it infused magic into it, you don't have to pay for the materials to copy spells. Each book has 1,000 pages and it's sold for 12,500 gold pieces. It's hard to buy because so many wizards want one."
Zhao Xu looked at the plain cover and couldn't imagine that there was an item that could actually reduce the price of copying spells to almost 10% of the original cost.
As long as you had this Wondrous Item, then the cost of copying spells would go down to 12.5 gold pieces a page. That was way better than the original cost of 100 gold pieces or even the 50 gold pieces required to copy from another spellbook.
As for the fact that the item was difficult to purchase, that was a problem for others. He had managed to get himself into a large organization, so there was a way to get his hands on this internally.
This was probably one of the special privileges everyone was talking about.
But Zhao Xu didn't get too excited at this point because he noticed that Antonya had mentioned he had a second choice.
"The other option is to activate your Enlightened Spellcaster feat."
"Once you use that, the spells will be copied into your memory and you won't need a spellbook anymore."
Zhao Xu couldn't stop his heart from racing. His path to becoming a wizard had begun, and the powerful feats that this organization held were finally being revealed to him.


Zhao Xu goes back 10 years in time to the day when Arthur's game servers opened. Only he knows that one year later, the earth will be destroyed and everyone on earth will transmigrate into the world of Arthur! PS: MC is a double character class of Wizard and Archivist, training in both the arcane and the divine, includes metamagic/magic guards/spells/rubies/action points/hyperactivity/pause/temporary effect/activation/in-game purchases in the making.

Due to coronavirus in the world and in our country, and corononeurosis, productivity has fallen, from an average of 1,500 words per day to 604 words. Plus, I rewrote two novels, I deleted part of the chapters, cut some, added something (so the words were cut).
Of the existing novels, only one has ratio 440, the rest of 1000 or 2200 or so.
The text block has become a little better, but still, there is still a lot of work on polishing. The texts do not have enough emotions to immediately attract the reader.
As an author, I love accuracy, numbers, it's interesting to me, facts, philosophy, to understand the ins and outs of the character, what he thinks, why he takes such actions. But in novels, you need fewer numbers, facts, shorter less information, more manifestations of feelings, emotions, you need action, more monologues.
Plus the title page - I draw it myself, on the vector graphics, on the one hand it's good that no one needs to pay for copyright. On the other hand, they are not as attractive as those drawn on special graphic editors.
In addition, during the time I write, I came to the conclusion that success comes to those who have:
1. high-quality, easy to read text2. the meaning of the plot is not lost3. frequency of updates (at least 3-4 chapters per week)4. the number of words in the chapter should be at least 1500 - 25005. quality content6. The recording dissolved, leaving behind three shimmering gold words on the page. The options were 'Watch Again', 'Stay', 'Reset', and 'Logout'.
It was a no-brainer for Hugh. He hated his day job and his grades had been too poor for college. He'd barely talked to his parents in the five years since he moved out. His mom wasn't worthy of the title and his dad was less useful than a potato. He doubted his little sister would miss him. She, along with all her snotty Net-famous friends, believed gamers were embarrassing toads. Or so they said, loudly and often, when he encountered them.
Hugh's only real friends were probably sitting at their own campsites watching the same video he'd just finished. He had no reason to hesitate, so he didn't. He immediately pressed his finger to the word 'Stay'.
As he pulled away, the word dissolved. More words appeared in their place, asking him to confirm his choice to stay. He confirmed again and those words dissolved, too. A full sentence appeared, reminding him of what he was committing to—staying in Thrive for a minimum of a hundred years. He confirmed once more, noting how the place he had to press moved with each dialogue so no one could claim their choice was made by accident.
Next, he was asked to read a statement aloud for the record.
"I choose to stay in Thrive. I commit to remaining in stasis for a minimum of one hundred years. I understand this is not part of the game. This is real. I understand I will not be allowed to log out and return to the physical world until after final wake-up protocols are activated by the World Council. I understand I will not be able to change my mind once this decision has been finalized."
Yet another dialogue popped up, asking him if he had any questions regarding the terms of his decision. He pressed no. An outline of a hand appeared, along with the words, "Press this page to finalize your choice."
He pressed his palm on the page. Three seconds later, light flared under his fingers. He hesitantly pulled away to find his hand-print stamped on the inside cover in gold foil. The edges were slightly raised. Instinctively, he scratched it to see if it would come off.
There was no flare of light this time, but the effect was still noticeable. Text rose up on the book's first page, encircled with a fancy frame imitating an old illuminated manuscripts. At a glance, Hugh recognized it as a table of contents, except there only seemed to be one entry, "Page One...Profile."
He flipped the page to see what it was about, but it was still blank. He went back to the table of contents and stared at the words. They didn't shine like the gold foil words had, but perhaps that wasn't necessary for him to interact?
He pressed the entry. Like magic, the pages flipped by themselves, bypassing four blank sheets before it finally settled down. The blank surface of page one filled with a copy of his Net profile. It wasn't just the alias profile he used to log into the game's site, but the one he had registered with the World Council—his official citizen's registration profile. In it were links to his real world medical profile, his banking profile, his criminal profile, his job profile, his school profile, and his genealogical profile. Literally everything the government knew about him was available to view in neatly organized, scrolling sub-menus.
The very top of the page even announced his real name, "Hubert Dean Vander-Huberten." With a grimace, he pressed on it in hopes he could interact with the heading and change it. Nothing happened, telling him he was stuck with seeing his real name until he went to the World Council offices and officially changed it—assuming he could find an office in the game's main city.
Recalling the recording had said something about exchanging money, Hugh looked under the sub-menu for his bank profile. He wasn't too happy to see both his personal account and his gaming account listed. He'd always been careful to keep the two separate. His day job paid for his daily necessities. Money made from gaming—mostly streaming video and compiling articles for Net sites—paid for more gaming. The two accounts weren't supposed to overlap because then he got confused and overspent.
When he saw the new account listing for 'Bank of Nexus,' he realized it didn't matter if they overlapped anymore. Nexus was supposed to be Thrive's main city. And since he wasn't going to be waking up anytime soon, only the money in the Bank of Nexus account would actually matter from now on.
The interface for transferring funds was no different than using his bank's Net application, except it didn't bother asking for his login information. They didn't need to confirm who he was since they had custody of his entire body and all the DNA in it. Now that he thought about it, that was probably how they'd linked him to his World Council profile to begin with—his Cryosis suit sampled his DNA and matched it to his medical profile.
It took only a minute or two to confirm no bank accounts were missing, then transfer the funds in both real world accounts to his new auto-generated Bank of Nexus savings account. The page warned him funds would be automatically exchanged for Zettabits at a rate of $1.27 per bit. He didn't know if that was any good, but he supposed it could be a lot worse. At least this digital currency would be used, unlike so many others on the Cryptocurrency Market.
When he finished, he closed the sub-menu, then turned back to the Table of Contents. Three new entries were already waiting on him—Status, Navigator, and Life Drought. He was severely tempted to jump ahead to 'Navigator', but he pressed "Page Two...Status" first. The book flipped itself open to the correct page and filled in the appropriate information.
As far as he could tell, it was an approximation of a typical character status sheet using a star diagram. There were six stats in total. To the right it said Strength, Dexterity, and Stamina. To the left was Intellect, Empathy, and Constitution. His star was bottom-heavy with his best talents being empathy and constitution. Everything else was barely reaching average despite how much he'd built up his body with daily workouts in the real world.
Beneath the chart, there were sub-menus for Titles, Achievements, Contracts, and Hobbies. The first two were blank, but the third made him goggle when he saw a dozen entries. He opened the entry under 'Gaming' and found every game he'd ever played. Under 'Movies', he found dozens of titles. 'Writing' provided a list of gaming articles and walk-throughs he'd put together.
It wasn't until he saw 'Cooking' on the list he realized what must have happened, because he actually hated cooking. The system must have gone through everything he scanned into his memory modules and categorized the contents. And since he'd downloaded a bunch of freebie survivalist recipe books into his digital library, the system now thought he liked to cook.
He must have paused too long with his finger on one of the cookbooks because the neighboring blank page filled with a question. "New Recipes Found. Would you like to add them to your Book?" Hugh pressed yes. The pages instantly began flipping until it reached three-fourths of the way back. A new page appeared entitled 'Cooking Recipes 19/500'. Below were a half dozen entries for Dutch-oven casseroles. He stopped himself from adding anything more since there was a storage limit. Undoubtedly, there would be a way to buy upgrades later, but for now he preferred to play it safe.
He returned to the Table of Contents at the front of the page and pressed "Page Two... Navigator."
The book flipped to the correct page and filled in with a drawing of a man's face. Hugh smirked when he saw the gender symbols in the corner of the page and the sub-menus necessary for customizing the NPC's appearance. Finally, his experience as a gamer came in handy.
Hugh breezed through the menus, making selections and adjusting sliding scales by rote, until his Navigator looked like the avatar he used in nearly every other game he played. The only surprise came at the end where it said "Test" rather than "Confirm."
He pressed it.
"Hello, Hubert."

The world is dying.  To buy time to find a way to revive it, humanity retreats into cryogenic stasis and uses a game called 'Thrive' to allow society to continue to function.  This story follows an average adult gaymer, Hugh, and his AI Navigator, Dex, as they explore this new world.

"I have this sinking feeling in my gut that you chose this to get back at me." Ran said as he continued to cut the coloured paper into different shapes. 
Kaia sat beside him and is just smiling without saying a word. 
"You did, didn't you?" He asked again, almost horrified with how cruel Kaia seems to be currently. "Tell me." 
Kaia laughed and finally looked at him from cutting the newspaper, shaking her head, "I only thought of this because I remembered the pictures that came in today and I thought, this is something that will take quite a while to do." 
"So, it was Dor." Ran said, holding his clenched fists up to no one in particular. 
She pulled at his sleeve to get his attention back and signed, "You were very cooperative though." 
"I felt bad." He said, scratching the back of his head, "I was a little insensitive when I threw y- what is what that look on your face?" 
Kaia looked at him with a very surprised expression, her mouth is open and she doesn't seem to be able to close it even if she tried to. 
He never showed that he even cared an inch about her before. She knows he does but he never said it either so she has been in a bit of a confusing relationship with him. 
Until now, he cares … somehow.
"A fly is going to enter your mouth." He said, looking away but the lobes of his ears are red and Kaia smiled as soon as she noticed that. 
"What are we making this for?" Carlotta asked, looking up from her work. "I've never made a scrapbook before. I don't know why we are making this." 
"No worries, I am going to help you," Shia said, sitting beside Carlotta as she helped her by taking out some of the coloured papers and the stickers Alex went and bought from them when they asked him. There were so many glitters and stars and flowers and animals and many more things there that Kaia almost burst from happiness. 
"Each of us is making a page for the scrapbook, right?" Dor asked, looking at Kaia who nodded at him. 
"There are five of us, so that means five pages," She signed with a smile. 
"Only five pages?" He asked, looking at her with an expression on his face. "We should make more." 
"I don't think-"
"I agree!" Shia said suddenly, "I have always wanted to make a proper scrapbook for all of us." 
"What do you suggest we do then?" Kaia asked as Aliya is too busy decorating the picture of them all to be paying attention to the conversation going on at the moment. 
"If we all make two papers each, we will have ten pages. How many of us are there?" Shia asked, counting everyone in the room. 
"There are seven of us," Aliya said, without looking up. "If we make a scrapbook with three pages each, we will have to make twenty-one pages of it. Since there are five of us, that means we have to make four pages per person. Someone will have to make one extra." 
"I can take care of that." Kaia signed, raising her hand. "I will make five and the rest of you make four." 
"But four three pages per scrapbook?" Carlotta asked, squinting her eyes, "Isn't that a little too little?" 
"Oh, I have an idea!" Shia said, "We will make the three pages thing, decorating four pages each, ok? Since we all have very different ways of decorating, we will switch it all up so that each of the three pages are different. Then ... we will add other pages, blank ones for the person who gets each of them to decorate it as they wish. At the end of the year, we will compare them. How about that?"
"I think that's a good idea," Aliya said, finally done decorating the picture she held in her hands and stuck it on the pepper in front of her. "We will have something to fill the entire year up with. Good memories and bad. Right, Kaia?" 
Kaia smiled at her, nodding her head. 
"Then it is settled, we will do this but how are we going to put the pages together? We are also going to get them, right?" Aliya asked, "I want to be surprised as well." 
"Maybe I can help with that." They turned to see Ellie walk into the living room with a ton of clothes in a basket. She sat on the soft they were sitting in front of, on the ground, and began folding the clothes as she took them out of the basket. 
"Ellie. What do you mean?" Aliya asked, looking up at her, glue and stickers stuck on her hair. Shia looked at her and helped pull them out of her hair and clothes. 
"Well, you could leave your work here and I, along with the other maids, will make the books for you all. What do you think?" She asked, folding a piece of shirt as she spoke. "We will have everything done by ... say next week." 
"Are you sure, Ellie?" Shia asked, "Won't you be busy with everything else you have to do?" 
"There is nothing much to do around the house since you all are such good children and hardly ever cause any trouble for us." She said putting the pile of folded clothes away on the side of the couch, "We want to do something for you all. Now, what do you think?" 
"Yes!" Aliya squealed. "I want to see what you will make for us, Ellie." 
"I am sure it will be a work of art," Dor said, grinning at her. 
"You all believe that much of us?" She asked, eyes shining with pride. "Then we will make sure to try and live up to your expectations." 
"Anything Ellie makes is going to be good. You don't have to worry about that." Aliya said with a broad grin that Ellie mirrored. She quickly went back to her work and held it up. "What do you thin, Shia?" 
Shia, who is still helping Carlotta by choosing the picture for her and helping her place the ones she wanted properly before she needed to stick them, looked up and almost gasped as she saw the page. 
It is covered almost entirely in iridescent glitter with the picture stuck in the centre of it all. There were also multiple balloon stickers around it as well as Aliya's hand-drawn people that looked more like cookie people than humans. 
"Wow." Shia managed to say out as she looked at the page, "You just made me speechless, Aliya. Wow." 
Carlotta looked up from her cutting and saw the page as she fell into a fit of coughing while trying to find a proper reaction to it. 
"What do you think, Cara?" Shia asked, stroking her chin and pretending to be looking at it like those pretentious people in art museums. "It is just brilliant, don't you think so?" 
"Brilliantly brilliant," She said, looking at it as intently as she could. "The glitter just accentuates the brilliance of the picture. Much more than I thought it could." 
"I agree. I like the added balloons. Were you going for a kind of party vibe, Aliya?" 
"Yeah." She said, grinning at them as she took the page away again, "I might have overdone it with the glitters though. But it's so pretty I couldn't stop." 
Kaia tapped her shoulder and signed, "It is like you pretty, sparkling and commanding of everyone's attention." 
Aliya jumped and hugged Kaia, "Thank you. I really like that description of me." 
"Agreed." Dor said, "Kaia put into words what we were intending to say brilliantly." 
"Stop saying brilliant." She laughed, swatting him with the glitters until it got on his hair and his clothes as well. "Thank you, Shia and Carlotta, too."

"Caitlyn matches her so much." He said like he is talking about a disaster, head shaking and all that is included. "It is a pity she couldn't have kept that name." 
"You know why she couldn't have kept it." Kaia signed at him, attempting a frown on her face. 
"I know, I know." he said, "But I think I can just feel sad about that." 
"Yes you can, but you still have to get used to that name now. Even us." Shia said, "We will get used to it soon enough. Hopefully."
