Even though Alex was the least comfortable looking of the group, he was the first to react. The moment Shesmu issued his orders, he dashed behind the wolf and stabbed its nape. With a twist of his hand, his dagger cut through the beast's muscles and tendons—killing it instantly.
Julia was not to be outdone. She unsheathed her rapier and received the pouncing coyote head-on. She thrust with precision at the beast's throat, piercing it. The tip of her blade poked out its nape, dripping with blood. The coyote's claws couldn't even reach Julia's face before it fell down on the ground, lifeless.
Rapier user, huh. That's rare. Shesmu stood by the sideline while Arthur's party took care of the beasts. Alex, who had just killed the wolf, set his sight on the dog. He ran with all of his might, dagger ready to strike.
Damn, he is tunnel visioning. Shesmu put Ryan on the ground before dashing towards the dog. He blocked Alex's hand just as it was about to pierce the beast's chest. He turned and positioned himself behind the dog's back and put both of his hands in a chokehold around the creature's neck. He pressed the blade of his arm on the dog's throat and put all of his weight on its back.
The beast whimpered and cried for a few seconds before it lost all consciousness.
"Good boy. Take a rest, won't you?"
"Why did you not want me to kill it?" Alex asked, his voice hiding a tone of hostility.
Shesmu didn't respond right away. He kept scratching the dog's back before he slowly looked up at Alex.
"By three they come, at three they fall, in all three you shall walk and crawl. Tell me, what do you think that means to you?"
Alex took a deep breath to calm himself down. His expression that was clouded with worry and suspicion cleared.
"We already understood the last two. We needed to go in all three directions, and we needed to crawl to pass through the poison cloud. "At three they fall", we just need to wait until the clock hits three. For the first part, I don't know."
Shesmu nodded at Alex's words before looking at the rest of the party. "What about you guys? Any idea what the first verse could mean?"
Everyone stood silent thinking when Arthur spoke up. "I think I understand what you wanna do. The first verse is probably talking about these statues right here."
Everyone looked around at all the statues surrounding them. All of them looked so lifelike as if they would come pouncing at them at any moment.
"These statues, they turn into living creatures three by three," He continued.
"Bingo," Shesmu responded. "So, what do you think we should do? Just kill them as they come or…" Shesmu's eyes drifted back to the dog in his hand. "Keep them unconscious until the time passes."
"You smug little bastard." Julia smirked at Shesmu's deduction abilities. She walked towards him with wide steps and scratched his head with her fist.
"Dammit, Julia. That fucking hurts."
"Teach you a lesson on not flexing too hard next time." Julia laughed at Shesmu's misery. Everyone soon joined in the laughter and sat next to him.
Time flew by as the party talked and joked around, telling stories about their past misadventures. When the arrows of the clock hit three sharp, the room quacked and rumbled. The steel door opened, leaving way for the party to escape the death trap.
"Seems like it's finally done," Arthur said. He stood up and led the way to the door, the crystal still in his hand.
Julia stood up right after and said, "Well, I guess it's time."
She skipped her way towards Arthur and tapped at his shoulder. "Hey, Arthy, can you show me that crystal, please? It looks so beautiful."
Arthur was surprised at the unexpected demand, but he still gave it to her. "Sure, here you go."
Julia looked at the crystal with amazement. "Woah, it really is beautiful. Even more gorgeous when you look at it from so close."
She nodded and said, "Hmm, I like it." She then showed the most innocent smile to Arthur, "Now, you can die."
And she pierced his heart.

People have always dreamed of going back in time. All their regrets, all their grievances, everything could be sorted out if only they went back. 

Shesmu didn’t.

He had his regrets but they weren’t major. He was remorseful for many things but he didn’t let them stop him. He always forged on ahead, regardless of what anyone said, regardless of the odds. In the end, he reached a place in life where he was proud. Captain of the most legendary team of Ashes of Gods, one of the strongest players in the game. But more importantly, he had a loving wife and daughter.

That was until one morning where he woke up and found himself back ten years in the past. He couldn’t believe it. While most people would jump in joy, Shesmu drowned in an ocean of despair. All of his achievements, gone. All of his friends, gone. His wife, she didn’t even know him. And most importantly, his daughter. She was no more.

Her smiles, her laughs haunted him in his sleep. However, Shesmu persevered. His eyes were still bright. The source of his drive was one thing. A letter. Sender—unknown. Motive left to mystery. However, it still gave Shesmu the power to push, the will to hope. It said: “Meet me in Ashes of Gods.”

"Fine!" They growled. She gets up but then Killian pulls her from her hair. She winces making him pull it harder. He drags her to the car. "You can let go of my hair now!" She said. 

In the car…

Chase jumps out of her bag on top Killian's shoulder. "Hey old man?" Chase was smirking. He ignores him. 

"Whoa, what hell was that!" He said sound loudly. "Maybe that was a sexist ass hot chicks!" He smirked. Melody puts her hands on face knowing his stupidity. 

"Hey, watch your language!" Lance snaps. "Never!" He said with pride. This guy here is a big pain in the ass, he simpers. Killian scowls at him.

He looks at Killian then at Lance last looks at Melody, and starts laughing. 
She took off Chase off of her dad's shoulder.

They arrived at Lance's house….

They walked to front of the door.
She looks at her feet then looks at Lance and Killian. She walks inside the house. She saw a lot of family pictures. She saw a picture of her Qiana smiling with Walter, she had a smile when she sees them. 

She explores the house; seeing that the furniture is different. Your house is very nice, she chuckles. Uh thanks, Lance rolls his eyes. "Do you want to get know other each?" She smiles. "No!" The of both barked at her. 

But I'm still going to tell you, she smirked. My name is Melody. "I love the music from like 50s, 60s,70s, 80s Music!. I like to roller skates too!" She grins. They ignored her, she frowns at them.

They sat down in sofa, She followed them. She stands next to Killian with a smile on her face. "The future is pretty cool!" It has flying cars, animals can talk and  hover-skates. "Really?" Lance raised a eyebrow.  

"Yep!" She chuckles. "They still have old fashioned roller skates." She said and looks at the dinner table, frowns. They stared at her for bit. She turns and smiles at her parents. 

Killian frowns because she looks like Lance's sister. My daddy is extremely protective of me, she chuckles. "He will beat anyone who will makes me cry! My cousins are scared of him!" She laughs.

Lance laughs at that. I'm risking my life to save my parents life, she frowns. I love my parents a lot and they love me.

She hide by a corner and her parents got caught by the grunts. She enter the room full of dogs, wolf and coyote. She turned the lights, the little dog and the wolf stare at the girl with ferret. "I know you can talk!" She yelled. "WHAT! But how?!" The little dog shouts. 

"Shut up Pip!" The wolf grits his teeth. "YOU SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH, SKIP!" Pip barks at him. "How do you know we can talk?" Skip gave a skeptic eyes. "Because I'm from the future!" She said in a proud in tone. 

The two look at each other, with a crack smile on their faces and busted out laughing. "Din heads, she telling the truth!" Chase barked them. Pip got really mad but Skip steps on his tail. 

"But I will help you guys escape! Even you Skip can go back the wild." She smiled. I'm not from the wild actually I was raised by a lady since Newborn pup. Who found me abandoned by mother and that lady is family including Pip. 

I go get the guys, Pip ran off find them. 

"Why are you the room?" The grunt snarled. The coyote shows his teeth, bites the man's leg. He bit so hard and twisting it, a lot of blood drip from his leg.

"Looking what we have here?" Harry evilly chuckles. "Is the greatest spy is here in my secret hideout? With his little partner?" Lance and Killian growled at him. 

He yelled at his radio to his grunts then hanged up on them. You fail to…. He touched his chest, saw fresh blood and turned to see a girl with a blaster. 

Fell to the ground, she went to untie her parents. Thanks kid, Lance thank her. "No problem!" She smiled.  "Well, I better go now to my timeline now," I won't remember anything!" She grins. She runs to Killian and gave him a big hug. Melody waves to them.

Years later and September 30, 2030…

"Are you doing some push ups in there?" Lance smirked at his belly. He puts his hands on his belly, feeling the baby pushing and kicking. "You're hungry?" He raised an eyebrow. "Me too!" He said with a smile. He went to grab some Oreos. He sniffs and cries about something.  

Then got excited about his husband coming home.  

The day of the birth… 

He was in pain, sweating, tired from giving birth. He screamed then it was done. He cries of a baby. "A girl!" The doctor cheered.  

They went to clean her up and wraps her in a pink blanket. They passed her to Lance. "Hi, there it's me, Papa!" He calms the crying baby girl. "And Daddy too!" Killian pops in. 

"She's has your eyes!" Lance pointed out. "She has your nose too!" Killian said. They kissed in front of her. She looks like your sister, Killian frowns. "She kinda looks like Melody… Oh my god!" Lance and Killian look at each other. 

I called her a brat, Lance frown. I pulled my own daughter's hair even calling her a pest, Killian frowns. 

But they smiled at the little eyes of hers, Lance kissed her forehead.

They say that every story has a format; a beginning, a middle and an end with a life lesson that everyone can and must benefit from. Easier said than done right? Well what people don't fully realize is how unique a story can be if done right. Such is the case of a pack of seven canines (lupines to be precise) of unusual backgrounds to come into a world not like their own, and in turn help create something of their own: a bridge of understanding.

As it all goes, it begins on sunny midsummer day in June. Upon a little clearing in a forested part of Montana we find little and humble wolf sanctuary named 'Haus der Wölfe' (German for House if Wolves). Owned by a lovely couple who had much interest in preserving the species, this sanctuary was just staring out with three wolves: Meika, a beautiful female Artic wolf; Achak, a gray wolf; and Elda, a large Canadian Timber wolf. With the husband and wife duo was their 'kid' Duke, a wolf-dog they took in after a family couldn't handle his wolf side much longer. Where he lost a home he gained a new one, a better one. Though it was first rough trying to get acquainted with his lupine brethren, they in time all warmed up to him. He may have enjoyed running with them and learning to hunt with them, he still had his inner dog and loved to cuddle with his adoptive furless parents and looked forward to them visiting his pen. During the times before and after he arrived at the sanctuary, he acquired an approximate amount of logic and knowledge from his owners by listening and watching all that he could. 

Upon a particular day of play, they caught ear of a truck coming up near the main gate. They all came up near the visiting area to see what the commotion was. The previous three had seen this truck before. It was green with words spelled out 'DNR' and it was backing up towards the gate. The back of the vehicle opened out came three new wolves one at a time: an Eastern wolf, a red wolf and an Arabian wolf that seemed like a dwarf to the other two. While the Eastern wolf was eager and hopped off, the other two were unsure of their new home. After some coaxing, the two eventually got off. Soon the three newcomers were greeted by Duke who took it upon himself to be the mediator for today. "Hiya fellas. Welcome to Casa de Lupine or simply just home. I'm Duke and who are you fellas?"

The first to step forward was the Eastern wolf who spoke with confidence and a slight southern accent. "Howdy and salutations my hombre. The name's Colt, I came here from ol' Mississippi from another preserve." The next was the red wolf. He too had a slight southern drawl. "The name's Radolf, just came here from a nature preserve along the two Carolinas." And then finally at last, there was the Arabian wolf. "Hhhi, I'm Boris. I'm not from any reserve or preservation. I'm actually...well was formerly a pet."
"Get out of here! You were some humans' pet?" Colt exclaimed. "Shoot! I bet you never had taste, if not a mere nibble of the slice of life we wolves have." 

"Probably for good reason." said Radolf. "What happened, did you get flirty with neighbors' dog or something?"

"No! No! Nothing like that honest!" Borris panicked, his ears folded back and his tail between his legs. "I guess...they just didn't want me."

"It's nothing to judge you on Borris." said Duke. "I was fine at my  previous home until they decided to send me here. I believe they said something about me being too big, but anyways let's get you guys introduced to the other two here."

"And who they be exactly?" asked Colt, his tail wagging in hopeful happiness.

"You'll see. Follow me gentlemen." As the owners opened up the gate to the main part of the sanctuary, the wolves led by Duke explored the vast spacious acres of forest with pines erect like solitary guardians. They all took in the smell of fresh pine sap leaking from bits and parts of the trees. After a bit of trotting, they finally came across his three other friends. "Achak, Meika, Elda meet Colt, Borris and Radolf." The wolves all exchanged greetings with each other as normal wolves do, as Colt was trying to make moves on Meika. "Well hello beautiful. What brings a pretty little snow angel like you a nice outfit like this?" he said flirting with her.  "Just well and fine thank you."  she replied, accepting his flirting with ease. Unnerved, she turned to the small Arabian wolf. "So who brought the coyote in here?"

"Actually ma'am, I am a wolf; an Arabian wolf actually." Borris said nervously. He had his head lowered in a show of submission hoping that the three wolves would be friendly with him. Her eyes softened as she greeted him. "I do apologize Borris. I've just never seen a wolf so little." said Meika.

(Little known fact: Coyotes stand at 21-24 inches tall at the shoulder, while wolves grow to 26-32 inches tall. Arabian wolves stand on average 25–26 inches (64–66 cm) at shoulder height. Talk about being an in-between)

"Neither have I." said Achak who padded on over with Elda. He had a bit of a scar along his cheek. "You could have been easily mistaken for one."

"It's not a big deal really." said Borris, still acting a bit shy. "I guess I'm not all that accustomed to the outdoor life just as much."

"You'll get pretty use to it." said Elda towering over Borris like he was a young cub. "The three of us were relocated from our homes here. Weren't too sure what to make of it at first, but we got comfortable once we got settled in. This place is kind of the same as any other forest. Just with some slight differences."

"What kind of differences?"

"Like wired fencing for one thing." Radolf spoke out. "To try to keep any unwanted humans from hunting us or taking us, well so said the human that I was left with."

"So far we haven't had any trouble like that here." said Achak. "Just peaceful living hunting for prey, simple life for us wolves. The humans that look after us aren't so bad either."

"Humans? Here?" asked Borris, nervous just from his past experience with humans. 

"Don't worry Borris." Meika reassured him. "There are only two here but so far they've been the best as far as we're concerned."

"If you say so darlin'." said Colt. "So what exactly we got here in terms of food?"

"Well we got the occasional moose we often track down." said Duke. "Several various small critters too but mostly deer. In fact, it's almost about time for a hunt. You three game?"

"Sure." barked Colt enthusiastically.

"As long as we're all pitching in." replied Radolf.

"Borris how about you?" Duke asked Borris who picked his tail up a bit. "Well...I suppose I can give it a go."

"Don't worry little buddy." said Elda as he nudged the little wolf. "It'll be fun I promise. We'll think of something for you to do."

Hesitant for a moment, Borris reluctantly agreed and all seven took off on the hunt for food as one pack.

Six wolves of various breeds were on their way to Europe from North America for a showcase for wolf preservation but something happened and the six canine compatriots find themselves somewhere in the African savanna. Will they be able to make their way back or is it more likely their stuck for good? Only with working with each other will they be able to make it through. 

This would take place in the middle of Lion King 2 and of course all rights and content pertaining to this belong to respected owners.


The devil wings no longer gave off the feel of being made up of dense Moqi, though its mighty magical powers were still intact but the ominous devil magic had been replaced by a divine feel.

When Ye Xiwen opened his devil wings, his speed suddenly dramatically rose. He tore a golden streamer in the sky and instantly went towards that small wolf.
The wolf cub initially thought that it had gotten rid of the human experts, but did not expect to see a golden figure suddenly catching up.
It suddenly cursed out loud: "F**k, this is unreasonable!"
Although it had a small body, it was very fast and was also using an extraordinary agility skill. It was so fast that even Ye Xiwen, with his strength equivalent to an expert of truth ninth stage, might not be able to catch up. No wonder, he had to resort to using devil wings. In fact, even an expert of legendary realm might not be able to catch it.
The extent of this cub's speed could be imagined.
However, an expert of the legendary realm would not need to chase in the first place, since with just a flick of hand, they could directly confine the space, making it impossible to make an escape.

"Bang!" Ye Xiwen's big hand was unaffected and directly caught the beam and crushed it. The coyote was very strong but its strength was only comparable to that of an expert of truth eighth stage. However, its attacks were simply useless on Ye Xiwen who possessed a tyrannical golden body.
"You f***er!" The coyote said angrily and turned around to escape, but it was just a wishful thinking on its part because Ye Xiwen's big hand instantly printed a direct slap on this foul-mouthed cub's face, sending it flying for a large distance.
Ye Xiwen's wings fluttered and he slowly descended to the side of the cub that was lying on the ground.
"You insolent bastard!" It was angry because this was the first time it was slapped by a human being after taking birth. It could not accept the fact that it had been defeated by a human, not just in speed but also in strength.
Ye Xiwen grinned while thinking that it was really very intriguing. He asked: "Well, what is your family background?"
The cub pretended as if it didn't hear anything and simply ignored him.
"You should consider answering because if you don't, I would prefer cooking a pot of dog soup using you as the ingredient, so delicious." Ye Xiwen said with an evil smile.
"Go f**k yourself, this prince is a wolf, A WOLF, get it? I am not a dog!" The cub instantly said in an angry tone.
"Whatever." Ye Xiwen said dismissively, "Why are there so many eggs belonging to ridiculously powerful beasts buried in this area? If you answer honestly, I'll let you go."
Actually he was not particularly interested in subduing an extraordinary beast cub, especially this one.
He could see this wolf cub's wisdom was way too high for an ordinary demon beast. Ye Xiwen was impressed by its intelligence, strength as well as skills. There was a high possibility that subjugation might not work on it because its wisdom was similar to that of human beings, not to mention it had a rebellious personality. Ye Xiwen could not say for sure that he could subjugate it. But in case he could not make it willingly surrender and ended up hurting it in the process, it might summon danger for him since he was not aware of this cub's background which was bound to be extraordinary.
Moreover, he believed that there should be more eggs buried in this area and he would get plenty of opportunities later on.
He mainly wanted to know why there were such extraordinary demon beast eggs in this area. Also, just like Warhawk attracted the attention of a legendary level demon beast senior, he also needed to be careful not to offend any high-level demon beast for his own good! But one thing was certain and was, there was a hidden secret behind all this.
"I do not know." The cub mumbled while still lying on the ground as if feigning death.
At this time, Mu Ling and Wu Shaoqun also arrived and saw the small wolf playing possum on the ground. They were a bit surprised as they did not know what exactly happened here.
Ye Xiwen explained things to them and they felt like having a headache all of a sudden. Of course, they could not hurt this cub, otherwise, that might attract the attention of a legendary level demon beast.
Ye Xiwen vaguely guessed that this cub's background should be extraordinary. If something happened to it, then he would definitely be chased down on this island for the remaining months.

Since he could not resort to brutal means to force the information out of its mouth because of its rebellious personality, so he decided to keep this wolf cub at his side. Perhaps, later on, it would willingly tell things about this mysterious island.
This wolf cub was the only way to find out the real secrets about this strange island.
As far as the wolf cub's attitude was concerned, it had non-violent, non-cooperation attitude and its only option was to stay with Ye Xiwen.
The race to capture eggs was getting intense and complicated. A lot of people had started going crazy to obtain an egg of their own.
After the wolf cub, several demon beast eggs were dug out, but nothing good came out of it. Most of the cubs fled and almost every time demon beast seniors rushed to protect their own which led to a lot of chaos. In the end, for human experts, their hard work was all in vain.
Certainly, there were some experts who were successful, such as Ji Moon obtained a Hudiesaurus (butterfly lizard) which was an extremely rare demon beast. Its whole body was of a Tyrannosaurus but with a pair of butterfly wings on its back.
However, the third super expert, Wang Purple, was the most unfortunate one because when he finally got a cub, it attracted a demon beast senior and he was half beaten to death. Not to mention that cub was also taken away from him.
The good thing was that the opposite party was not serious, otherwise, he would have already been killed.
The unrest continued to get stronger and stronger.
The silence of the night spread a chill everywhere while the constant shrieks could be heard transmitting from the ominous mountain. The roars of several demon beasts also disappeared under the overwhelming presence of those shrieks.
Not far away, the yellow river was flowing down the forest and numerous ghost soldiers could be seen marching upon it. They had been following this daily routine for thousands of years, going on an expedition against an unknown enemy.
Mu Ling was indulged in a continuous battle in the yellow river and basically cultivating. He was fortunate to be able to practice in this river of the dead, which was also the main reason why his cultivation progress rate was so high.
"Several days have passed, why haven't your relatives come to pick you up?"
A large bonfire was burning high and a considerably large demon beast was supported on two thick branches and was being roasted in the fire.
As the roasting continued, its meat was gradually turning yellow while the fat oil was dripping down into the fire, contributing to its intensity.
Not far away, the wolf cub was constantly pacing back and forth. When compared to a few days ago, its size was now significantly larger and it also looked a lot stronger.
Obviously, it was still constantly complaining: "This prince is not going to eat this lowly demon beast." Nonetheless, its eyes were constantly staring at the almost cooked demon beast. It was reluctant to remove his gaze from the delicious food.
Ye Xiwen slowly rotated the branch to roast the uncooked portions of flesh, making the delicious fragrance suddenly spread in the air. He had been relaxing for the last few days; a short break was necessary to stabilize his inner state. Anyway, there was no point in being impatient when it came to cultivation.
He felt odd because whenever other demon babies came out, soon they were taken away by demon beast seniors. But this wolf cub had been out for quite some time and no one came to pick it up. Though he did not know what means they used to find out about the birth of these cubs. But in this case, Ye Xiwen felt something was off.
"They are all dead." The wolf cub did not turn his head and said in a low voice. Its eyes were still staring at the demon beast meat.
From the beginning, he tried several times to escape, but each time, he was caught by Ye Xiwen within seconds. Now, he was an orphan who did not know where to go, though it did not take him too long to understand that Ye Xiwen was not going to hurt him.
According to what he said, Ye Xiwen also came to know that he was homeless. No wonder no one came to pick him up.
However, when Ye Xiwen asked him about other things, he refused to talk about anything.
Just when Ye Xiwen seemed all prepared to taste the meat, suddenly, horrible shrieks began to echo everywhere. The ominous qi swept from the mountain and instantly obscured the entire sky in the form of dense black clouds. The condensed black clouds suddenly gave rise to endless rain on the island.
The sudden invasion of Yinqi and Deadqi sucked away lives out of the trees, leaving them in a withered state.
The barbecue was instantly corroded by the torrential downpour and ruined the bonfire.
Then, Ye Xiwen and the others suddenly heard extremely loud roars of demon beasts coming from the depths of the island. They had never heard such horrifying roars before and it was not hard to tell that these roars belonged to extremely tyrannical demon beasts.



Ye Xiwen was previously only an ordinary university student on Earth, but unexpectedly crossed through into the world known as the Zhen Wu Jie world! In this world, formidable warriors are able of turning over mountains and collapsing the ocean, destroying the sky and extinguishing the earth! He originally had ordinary aptitude, because of that he received the mysterious special space! Any martial art can be deduced within the mysterious space, other people practice for decades, he only needs a year! So long as he has enough spirit stones, any talents he faces are all floating clouds!

howls and barks would fill the air and echo throw the forest as a large pack of dogs are bolting between trees with their human owners in tow. the canines had the scent of their prey.

 growing closer and closer as their preys strength begins to dwindle. not far a head of the pack of howling hounds was a small little fox. its small furry orange and white form bolting through the many fallen trees and underbrush as it ran for its life. 

unknowing to the human hunters and their pack of muts. this fox was no normal fox. it was a shifter. a rare species of shifter as Fox shifters were seen as extincted. only a few species have shifter forms. there are wolf shifters, deer shifters, lion shifters, tiger shifters, coyote shifters, and even some dog shifters. that's what's know to the shifters anyways. those species alone. no more. no less. 

The little fox those humans and their muts were trying to catch is named Pepper. let me tell you a little bit about Pepper while she runs for her life. 

Pepper was a lone child. being abandoned at a younge age she was given to a human orphanage. living most of her life there with no home. at the age of 14 she started to hear a voice in her head. it was a Female voice. the voice would call itself Red. as Pepper began speaking to the voice in her head she began to learn what she really was. and by tge age if 15. she had her first shift. leaving everything behind she would leave her human life and enter the forest. living her life up to this point. boe she is 19. she had lived 4 years mainly in her Fox form. using advice from Red and learning to survive as a fox. only occasionally using her human form for small things. now since were done with  that. let's get back to Pepper.

Pepper had been running for hours. the barks of the canines and shouts of the humans voices would echo in her ears as she ran as fast as she could. her form was small. though she was in good shape and pretty strong. her small size only help her for one thing. speed. but soon that speed was slowing as she grew more tired after every minute. her little paws ached and her muscles burned as she ran. but she could not stop. she kept pushing and pushing as fast and as hard as she could. but worry began to fill her as she heard the canines paw steps closing in. " Red! what do we do? their catching up!" Pepper said in her mind to Red. Red was her fox. " just keep running Pepper. I'll think of something. just hold in there!" Red said amback before she went silent. Pepper only nodded as she pushed herself even further. one of the humans dogs would have came close to her. snapping its jaws at her tail. just inches away from her fur. she had to quickly dive under a long to lose the dog for a moment as she tired to buy herself as much time as possible. though in her panic she failed to smell the scent of Wolf territory line. running as fast as she could she would also fail to notice the canines have given up their Chase. she ran a little longer before she looked back behind her. not seeing the canines,  her body would flood with relief. but as she looked back in front of her. all she saw was a thick tree root. tripping over the root. she would yelp out loud as she drove forward and rolled down a steep incline. her small form would roll and smacked inti multiple sticks and rocks before she reached the bottom. her small form would make a soft thud as she reached the bottom. her chest would raise and fall quickly as she layed their. her eyes darted side to side as she tried to catch her breath. but due to the hard landing all she could feel was pain. " R-Red.." she said softly before she dozed off from exhaustion and pain. her small form would lay in a small clearing smack dap in the middle of a wolf packs territory.
