Witchcraft is the practice of magic used by witches. Before a witch has come into their power, they're considered "untapped", and their magic is considered pure. However, after awakening their power, witchcraft can encompass many different types of activities, such as spell casting, astrology, divination, and spirit communication, to name a few. This also includes the practices observed by many cultures, nations, and religions as well as many books and writings dating back to ancient times. Depending upon the individual, some witches practice their power by certain belief systems, such as Shamanism, Voodoo, Wicca, or any number of other magical practices. Although the majority of traditional witches are commonly portrayed as being kind and selfless humans who use their powers to maintain balance within the world, this is not absolute. Some witches go directly against the Balance of Nature by practicing their powers for dark and sinister or selfish deeds, while a few darker witches go so far as to subvert the very laws that Nature governs.

Different types of Magic

Ancestral Magic

Ancestral Magic is an extremely powerful form of witchcraft that is commonly practiced by the Nine Covens of New Orleans. Similar to Spirit Magic, this form of sorcery draws its energy from the power of ancestral witches who have been consecrated on New Orleans soil. However, according to Sophie Deveraux, this power can only be harnessed within the boundaries of New Orleans, meaning that should the witch abandon the area, their power will diminish and will be forced to utilize other forms of magic. In addition to this, should a witch abuse the power that has been given to them by the Ancestors, the spirits can repeal this power from any witch in New Orleans, including the Regent. Since the release of the Ancestors from the Ancestral Well, Ancestral Magic is extinct from New Orleans.

Connective Magic

Connective Magic is a form of sorcery that allows a witch to create a semi-permanent bond that draws strength from other supernatural beings, such as another witch. The witch, Dahlia, however, invented her own brand of this magic which allows the casting which to channel another witch's power while also augmenting said witch's power. She also used this magic to draw on the strength of an immortal being to achieve true immortality in conjunction with her Immortality Slumber Spell. However, neutralizing or killing said immortal being would similarly affect the witch. Unlike Sacrificial Magic, the target in which energy is drawn from is not hurt.

Dark Magic

Dark Magic, also coined "Black Magic", is a powerful form of sorcery that draws on malevolent powers and may be used for negative purposes; e.g. to cause destruction or misfortune, to injure or kill, or for the profit of oneself rather than for the benefit of others. In popular usage, the term "Dark Magic" is often used to describe any form of sorcery that is used against the Balance of Nature.

Expression

Expression is an extremely powerful form of sorcery that draws on dark energy that is so malicious, it would supposedly demolish the world if it were ever called into existence. The details and history of expression remain unknown, however, according to the witch, Nandi LaMarche, the forces of expression are considered so powerful that many witches discredit it as magic, for it expands beyond the limitations of both ancient and modern witchcraft.

Kemiya

Kemiya is all about the chemistry and connection between two witches.

Kemiya is an Arabian form of magic that allows a witch to physically destroy the elemental foundations of an object to create another or to magically imbue said creation with harmful, supernatural properties, thus creating a dark object. Requiring two witches to perform, the potency of its spells are determined by the chemistry between the two practitioners. Kemiya is said to cross the boundary between magic and science, utilizing aspects of both. One such notable example is the creation of the Gold Dagger; i.e. turning silver to gold.

Necromancy

Necromancy is a brand of sorcery as well as a magical practice that allows a witch to contact and communicate with, control and even reanimate the dead. While most witches who practice necromancy are known to channel dark magic, it is known that a witch can use any magic of their choosing to practice necromancy. With the destruction of the Other Side, Bonnie referred to Alaric's attempt at raising Josette's spirit as necromancy, as her spirit wasn't behind a Veil that they could lift and she'd magically appear. According to Vincent, Necromancy is but one of the many branches of witchcraft and is popularly practiced by many of the witches in New Orleans. One such coven banished their members that became obsessed with dark magic, necromancy, and immortality spells - they became known as the Kindred. According to Dorian, necromancy is everywhere in occult literature and it is a form of sorcery that dates back to ancient Greece. The Necromancer was world-renowned in the practice of necromancy, particularly raising and controlling dead humans in the form of zombies. However, his legacy was forgotten from the world due to Malivore.

Sacrificial Magic

Sacrificial Magic can be a powerful form of sorcery, though it is highly dependent upon the ritualistic sacrifices of natural and supernatural beings. Similar to expression, this form of sorcery can draw upon the energy, in various forms, from any supernatural creature that is sacrificed. According to the witch Vincent Griffith, sacrificial magic is but one of the many branches of witchcraft that is popularly practiced by many of the witches in New Orleans

Spirit Magic

Spirit Magic was a very powerful form of sorcery that drew its power from the Spirits who resided on the Other Side. Unlike other forms of magic, except for ancestral magic, spirit magic could only be used how the Spirits saw fit and if a witch abused the power that is bestowed upon them, the Spirits would break the connection between themselves and the witch, preventing them from further harnessing their power. Since the collapse of the Other Side, spirit magic may have become extinct. However, it's been shown that witch spirits that have found peace in the afterlife retain their ability to perform magic, though it is currently unknown if living witches can call upon these spirits for additional aid.

Traditional Magic

Traditional Magic is one of the oldest and purest forms of sorcery inherent to the Earth and the forces of Nature. Traditional magic is undoubtedly the most popular form of witchcraft known-to-man, however, it is also the most exhausting. This is mainly due to the fact whenever a witch uses this power they must exert their energy, which can cause them to experience symptoms of dizziness, fatigue, and minor nosebleeds. Bonnie Bennett explained the limits of this power to Jeremy Gilbert, saying that if she pushed too hard, it would push back.

Traveler Magic

Traveler Magic is a form of sorcery that is strictly practiced by a subculture of witches known as the Travelers. This form of sorcery specializes in spirit possession and its spells are performed in a language different from all other forms of witchcraft. Traveler magic is highly dependent upon the magic of the Traveler along with their connection to other Travelers. Only by joining together, in large gatherings, are Travelers able to perform powerful feats of magic. Without access to the magic of other Travelers, their power is considerably weak.

Known Magical Practices

Blood Magic

Blood Magic is a magical practice that refers to the mystical properties found in non-human blood. Blood from different supernatural species possesses different uses, with those most notably from a doppelgänger. Blood from various species can be used by witches to interconnect them with their rituals and spells to draw on their unique properties. One such notable example was when Vincent attempted to use Lucien's blood, as an Upgraded Original vampire to cure the venom in his bite on Cami.

Elemental Magic

Elemental Magic is a magical practice that involves the utilization of the four alchemical elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. A witch with enough magical power can interconnect Elemental Magic within their rituals and spells to draw on their unique properties. Davina Claire once used a subsection of such, known as Earth Magic, in Ashes to Ashes, during her attempt to resurrect Kol Mikaelson - to turn ash to bone and earth to flesh. Witches typically utilize fire, in the form of candles or torches, to aid them in their spells. Other witches like Esther Mikaelson and Ariane have used water as conduits in spells related to divination.

Hoodoo

Hoodoo is a magical practice that mixes occult elements of African, European, and Native American witchcraft along with some Christian mythology. Contrary to Voodoo, Hoodoo is not a religion, but rather an eclectic practice of witchcraft that is strongly based on herbal knowledge and can be used negatively or positively. According to Vincent, Hoodoo is but one of the many branches of witchcraft and is popularly practiced by many of the witches in New Orleans.

Representational Magic

Representational Magic is a magical practice that uses representative objects to manipulate reality. Its origins remain unknown; however, it has existed at least as far back as 10th Century A.D. According to Vincent, representational magic is but one of the many branches of witchcraft and is popularly practiced by many of the witches in New Orleans. Usually, such spells use much more power than one realizes. It's also very delicate magic that requires considerable concentration by the witch who practices it. One such use of Representational Magic is for the creation of a Chambre de Chasse.

Shamanism

Shamanism is a magical practice used by indigenous witches known as shamans. Shamanism is described as a way of life, focusing on connecting with Nature and creation where interaction with the spirit world through altered states of consciousness is used to achieve divination and healing. A tribe of shamans was known to create the Huntress, by sacrificing their lives to imbue her with great power to destroy vampires. This practice has slowly faded from the world and is rarely seen, though legends and lore have kept this all but gone.

Voodoo

Voodoo is a very old magical practice, that is also a religion, used by some witches. Voodoo is described as a set of spiritual folkways that originated from the traditions of the African diaspora. It is a cultural form of the Afro-American religions which developed within the French, Spanish and Creole population of the state of
Louisiana
. According to Vincent, Voodoo is but one of the many branches of witchcraft and is popularly practiced by many of the witches in New Orleans. The practice of voodoo, however, extends as far north as Chicago,
Illinois
with the witch Gloria, as she was a self-proclaimed "old-school" voodoo practitioner.

Spell Casting

One of the main components of witchcraft is the ability of witches to cast spells. Spell casting is a power of witches and witch-related species such as siphoners, witch-vampire Hybrids and, possibly, werewolf-witch Hybrids to work magic through the recitation of incantations. This allows users to magically alter reality to a wide number of effects or to evoke forces to change their surroundings. Though this is an ability possessed by all witches, it can also be achieved through thoughts, gestures, and rituals, although generally spoken.

Spells are capable of producing a wide variety of effects, both harmful and helpful. They can produce physical or chemical changes in a person or object. They can also have profound mental effects such as altering memory, manipulating emotions, or causing magical compulsion (such as forcing someone to speak truthfully).
Spells can manipulate other kinds of magic, such as binding (preventing the use of) a witch's powers, transferring powers between individuals or objects, breaking magical barriers, lifting or casting curses, protection from harm, and range from healing to resurrecting the dead. Some spells require more than one witch to make them work to increase the amount of magic and therefore potential power available for the spell.

The capabilities of spell casting are nearly limitless, though it depends on the type of magic being invoked, the proficiency of the witch, and the spell being cast. A great majority of spells contain a spoken component, notably known as an incantation. An incantation is written and recited as a verse that can vary widely in length from a single word to a short phrase, to a long verse repeated to completion. Some spells consist of only an incantation where others have additional and/or specific components as well. A spell may require the use of certain tools, ingredients (herbs, stones and minerals) or the use of additional power such as from talismans, celestial events or a specific kind of magic.

Spells and Rituals

One of the defining characteristics of a witch is their ability to cast spells; a "spell" typically being the word used to signify the means employed to carry out a magical action. A spell could consist of ritual action, a set of words, a verse, or any combination of these. For reasons unknown, the majority of spells used by practitioners of traditional and spirit magic are spoken in an ancient language very similar to Latin, while the ancient witch Qetsiyah performed her spells in Aramaic (a language that originated from the Middle East). However, witches who practice other forms of magic have been known to use spells in different languages; for example, the French Quarter Coven, which practices ancestral magic, performs their spells in French or French Creole, while the Travelers typically perform their spells in Czech. Dahlia and Freya Mikaelson have performed spells using a yet to be identified ancient magic in Old Norse, similar to the modern-day Norwegian, Icelandic, Germanic, Danish, Scandinavian and Swedish languages.

Known Magical Celebrations

Certain days are celebrated by witches for the high magical potential they represent. These traditions are observed particularly within covens. The best-known celebrations so far come from the witches of New Orleans, which hosts the largest number of known covens.

Fête des Bénédictions

Meaning "Blessing Festival", is celebrated by the witches of the French Quarter in agreement with the local community in which people offer gifts to the Harvest witches in exchange of blessings. Witches offer a demonstration of their powers during a parade held in the French Quarter and then a party is held in a luxury building where guests deposit their gifts at the feet of the witches who are sitting on thrones. From the words of Genevieve, it seems that this festival had been suspended by the restrictive policy of Marcel Gerard and not by the fact that it celebrates solely the Harvest witches every three hundred years when the Harvest Ritual is accomplished. So it's likely that the gifts are offered to the most important within the hierarchy at the time.

Fête de Cadeau

Literally "celebration of the gifts" in French, this festival is celebrated by the totality of the Nine Covens of New Orleans in the City of the Dead. Every witch brings an animal - generally goats - to the Regent to be sacrificed and bestow benevolence upon the community. The festival lasts all day long and the evening seems to be devoted to revelry while the proper religious ceremony is celebrated in the morning.

Coven Day

Coven Day is a tradition established at the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young & Gifted to provide an opportunity for all of the school's witches, students, faculty, and staff, to celebrate and take pride in being what they are - witches. Throughout the day, it also allows the students to learn about the six unique covens that make up the school's magical community.

Trivia

Along with Spell Casting, Channeling, is yet another basic characteristic of a witch's power.

Some spells can replicate the effects of magical powers such as pyrokinesis, telekinesis, or pain infliction though they may also be the result of non-verbal spells or simply spells that help focus these powers.

Spells and Rituals are recorded in grimoires by witches to collect information and improve their work.

Contrary to the novels, the television show does not mention the practice of Wicca, however, it is possible that traditional magic could be a symbolic representation of Wicca as traditional magic is deeply concerned with the Balance of Nature.
Contrary to popular belief, representational magic is not a type of magical power, but a type of magical practice. Necromancy, however, has been referred to both a form of sorcery as well as can be used as a magical practice. Since magic is based on its source of power, representational magic does not qualify as a form of magic, any magic chosen by the practitioner can be used. For example, Monique Deveraux used ancestral magic to cast a representational spell that would prevent Céleste Dubois from cheating death. However, Finn Mikaelson used sacrificial magic to cast a representational spell to trap Elijah, Klaus, and Kol inside of a Chambre de Chasse. According to the Harvest Witch, Cassie, the Kindred used dark magic for immortality and necromancy spells, while other witches, such as Qetsiyah, used traditional magic. The Necromancer specifically excels at the use of necromancy and once became world-renowned.

According to Elijah Mikaelson, objects enchanted by witchcraft can only be destroyed by using the elements of water and fire.

According to Freya Mikaelson, a witch's magic can be anchored to one's home which is sometimes required in spells. If a witch is never in one place for a long period or has no ties to anyone or anything, they will have no anchor. However, witches can use people as anchors, however, doing this allows the witch to see inside the mind of the respective anchor(s).

When attempting to penetrate the mind of Eva Sinclair, Freya stated that without an anchor, she would be lost inside the mind of Eva, along with both Rebekah, Marcel and Vincent.

In Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, it is revealed that alchemy is a magical practice that is studied and recorded from the Iberian Peninsula from southwest Europe. Hope studies this, "Locator Spells in Twelve Ancient Languages" as well as the magic of the Middle East, from several grimoires. She explained that she was "examining regional magic as it relates to sociopolitical and economic statuses"; however, this was an attempt at breaking powerful cloaking spells. Freya also states that trying to break every possible spell in those books would take her a thousand years to perform.

Many Lou Lan cultivators were attracted by Ji Liang's bright and crisp call. They looked up at the sky…
Above the towering trees, Ji Liang's hooves shone with light as it galloped in the sky.
"It's the Sword Devil's steed! Catch it!"
The witchcraft cultivators with keen sight recognized Ji Liang immediately.
This was the very horse that led them on a wild goose chase.
The death of the hero of the border, General Bazir, was connected to the master of this horse.
For a time, many witchcraft cultivators gathered together. They had strength in numbers. There did not seem to be a high requirement for courage to face a single horse.
Hundreds of witchcraft cultivators flew at full speed toward Heaven's Moat from the campground.
At the same time, a large number of Roulians and Lou Lan nationals were stationed at the foothills on the eastern side of Heaven's Moat.
The Lou Lan cultivators took flight and tried to surround Ji Liang.
They rose higher at the same time.
The witchcraft cultivators in the west formed a line that pushed forward while the witchcraft cultivators in the east formed a straight line as well.
With this, Ji Liang would eventually run into the Lou Lan cultivators, no matter how fast it traveled.

Ji Liang noticed the abnormality. It raised its hooves and stopped in midair. It saw the witchcraft cultivators blocking its way. Every cultivator held a purple orb in their hands. They were clad in purple hooded cloaks. Purple gas slowly flowed out of their palms. The purple spheres in their hands seemed to be connected by a purple chain.
The witchcraft cultivators behind Ji Liang did the same.
They had the horse in a pincer attack. It seemed that the beast had nowhere to run to now.
Ji Liang was extremely intelligent. It made a swift judgment about its current situation and made a shocking move. It chose to rise higher in the sky. It looked up as it maintained its standing posture, hooves clopping away.
"It's no wonder Great Yan's Sword Devil managed to reach Rouli from the heartlands of Lou Lan… What a rare and wonderful steed."
"We must capture it no matter what. If we can tame it, we can make it work for us. If we can't tame it, we'll just kill it!"
"Roger!"
The shamans rose higher into the sky.
Two rows of cultivators followed Ji Liang in its ascent.
Two clouds of purple gas rose as well. They looked like purple sky curtains. It was a magnificent sight.
Ji Liang was not flustered. It reached the highest point of Heaven's Moat with its legendary speed.
This was not the southern part of Heaven's Moat. It seemed to know that it could not shake off the witchcraft cultivators at this altitude. Hence, it chose to climb further up. When it had reached the altitude it deemed suitable, the air thinned considerably and Primal Qi was scarce. It was stifling, constricting, and difficult to breathe. It stopped climbing up and flew straight ahead…
"We can't go any higher! Primal Qi is too scarce here!"
If they went up further, they would not have access to Primal Qi. Without Primal Qi, cultivators were only slightly sturdier than mortals. It was the same for witchcraft cultivators.
Ji Liang did not seem to be affected by this… It continued its flight. Shortly after, its trail drew an arc in the skies as it crossed over the barricade of witchcraft cultivators.
"Stop it!"
"Attack!"
The row of witchcraft cultivators tossed their purple orbs out.
A row of purple witchcraft circles was launched into the air.
Ji Liang nimbly dodged and flew higher.

General Karol was also intrigued by this huge commotion. He rose into the air and looked at the pursuing group of witchcraft cultivators in the distance. Shortly after, he sighed. "Although I don't see eye to eye with Bazir and our tempers aren't the best fit for each other, I do respect and admire his character. The sheer number of people willing to avenge him is a testament to his charisma. I've lost to him in this sense."
The moment he finished speaking, a subordinate beside him bowed and said, "General, before Bazir died, he personally led a team that pushed the Sword Devil to the lands of Rouli. His objective was to frame you for the Sword Devil's death to sow discord between Rouli and the Evil Sky Pavilion."
"Is that so?" Karol frowned.
"You may investigate this, general. He also said… that Lou Lan doesn't need a… a…" the subordinate stammered, unsure if he should finish his sentence.
"Just say it. I won't punish you!"
"A 'piece of trash' like you. He can kill Yu Shangrong on his own."

The witchcraft cultivators channeled their witchcraft power forward. The purple gas converged before their formation. Then, a purple bow and arrow materialized in the hands of the person in the lead.
"Livestock! Let's see where you can run off to now!" He let his fingers go and the arrow sailed in the air.
Bam!
It was breathtaking to see them pitch their spells together in this manner.
The arrow seemed sure to hit its target.
Neigh!
Ji Liang raised its hooves. The arrow was almost upon it.
The others were certain the arrow was about to land when...

There was a resonance in the air.

A figure appeared behind Ji Liang with a palm raised before himself. His fingers were shining blue as he caught the witchcraft arrow with one hand. He looked old, but his eyes were lively.
The witchcraft cultivators from Lou Lan did not expect anyone to be capable of pulling off such a dangerous move. Their expressions changed. If they did not know better, they would have thought they were hallucinating. They were smart so they knew how to differentiate between illusion and reality. The seemingly meek old man who caught the arrow was real.
"Oh, no, we've gone too far… Get ready to retreat!"
They suddenly realized that they had unknowingly entered Great Yan's territory, too preoccupied with the chase.
"Mhm, calm down. Great Yan cultivators are our enemies to begin with. Maintain the formation and retreat to the campground."

Modern-day witches of the Western World still struggle to shake their historical stereotype. Most practice Wicca, an official religion in the United States and Canada.
Wiccans avoid evil and the appearance of evil at all costs. Their motto is to "harm none," and they strive to live a peaceful, tolerant and balanced life in tune with nature and humanity.
Many modern-day witches still perform witchcraft, but there's seldom anything sinister about it. Their spells and incantations are often derived from their Book of Shadows, a 20th-century collection of wisdom and witchcraft, and can be compared to the act of prayer in other religions. A modern-day witchcraft potion is more likely to be an herbal remedy for the flu instead of a hex to harm someone.
Today's witchcraft spells are usually used to stop someone from doing evil or harming themselves. Ironically, while it's probable some historical witches used witchcraft for evil purposes, many may have embraced it for healing or protection against the immorality they were accused of.
But witches—whether actual or accused—still face persecution and death. Several men and women suspected of using witchcraft have been beaten and killed in Papua New Guinea since 2010, including a young mother who was burned alive. Similar episodes of violence against people accused of being witches have occurred in Africa, South America, the Middle East and in immigrant communities in Europe and the United States.

The Witch
Alse Young was a most unfortunate witch who lived with her elderly husband in Hartford Connecticut when it was merely a large village in a small English colony. Little schooled in witchcraft, Alse mostly made minor healing potions and poultices for her family and friends. She lived an uneventful and impoverished life until she became victim of an incubus who came to her at night as she slept.
Initially, she believed his nocturnal visits were nothing more than terrifying sexual nightmares. Yet over time as the incubus returned again and again, she came to realize that the handsome seductive man of her dreams was actually a hideous daemon forcing himself upon her when she could not resist.
Sadly, Alse knew only the simplest magic and did not know the appropriate protective spells she needed to defend herself. Little by little, the incubus came to control her waking hours as well as her dreams. He tempted her with powerful dark magic and the promise of riches. It was not long before she discovered that she was with child, and not the child of her aged husband. The incubus was so pleased that he gave her seven of his hairs and taught her how to use them to craft a wand from a branch of a black cherry tree. Once the wand was done, and the incubus taught her how to curse the women who snubbed her because of her poverty.
Over the following months, it became obvious that she was with child in spite of her husband's advanced age and frailty. The neighboring women began to gossip and cruelly whispered that the child was unlikely her husband's. When the time came and her daughter Alice was born, their suspicions were validated. The baby looked nothing like her husband and had a deep red stain across her back. Meanwhile as the incubus's visits took their inevitable toll on her health, the important women of the town who had scorned her one by one became sick and began to die.
It was merely a matter of time before one of her victims formally accused her of witchcraft. Her house was searched, and her wand was quickly found. Her cries of innocence fell on deaf ears. Hung on May 26, 1647, Alse Young had the distinction of being the first person executed in the thirteen American colonies for witchcraft. Thirty years later, her daughter Alice was also accused of witchcraft and was executed in nearby Springfield, Massachusetts.

Alse Young was only known to have used a single wand. It was a very simple wand, 10 inches long with a core of seven incubus hairs and a simple undifferentiated handle and shaft of black cherry with neither mystic crystals nor metals for focusing spells.

Over three hundred Qing Miao clansmen hissed and roared as they counterattacked witchcraft spells with witchcraft spells and tried their best to resist the raiders' attacks. The Second Mother was burning with impatience for the wicked witch must surely be casting some important spell at this moment. She continued to cast her witchcraft mercilessly but eventually, she could no longer withstand the resistance from hundreds of people. Moreover, the ultimate witchcraft spell of Miao Bujiao's disciples was released upon death; every person's death would trigger their long-refined signature spell and release the most ruthless tyrannical spell that they had cultivated in their entire lifetime!
The Qing Miao master cultivators who had followed the Second Mother were now curled up on the ground. Their witchcraft powers were completely depleted and they were now fully assaulted by the enemy's witchcraft spells. Some died while others were wounded; they did not even have the strength to stand up. Little Chi Maojiu was still following closely next to the Second Mother as he stared attentively at the sky with his bright gaze and continued to control the flock of crows to send waves upon waves of attack into the Miao stockade village.
However, there weren't many crows left in the flock by now.
The Qing Miao clansmen in the stockade village were different from the ‘Swarm of Bees'. The disciples of the ‘Swarm of Bees' were but guard dogs to the clansmen; they killed for a living and died killing. The witchcraft power of the ‘Swarm of Bees' was of an ordinary level, their advantage was that they had the ability to move stealthily in the forest without a trace. The Qing Miao clansmen in the stockade village, however, were the orthodox disciples of witchcraft cultivation. They cast their spells with their blood and they countered spells with their hatred! Sharp howls and shrill screams soared to the sky as the apocalypse-inducing witchcraft power that had been summoned by the Second Mother and the rest gradually came to its end like an arrow nearing the end of its flight. They watched helplessly as they slowly lost their hold and suddenly felt the pressure exerted on their bodies lighten.
When all the chaos had broken loose, the brothers Bushuo and Buzuo weren't rattled at all. They expressed the quintessence of stealth movement by the Death Trademark to its full potential all the way until the yellow-shirt person had started dealing with Wen Leyang. Oly then they had no choice but to kill the enemy with poison.
The yellow-shirt person's corpse had just crumpled onto the ground when the three-inch nail Wen Bushuo suddenly leaped into the air and threw the corpse at the Qing Miao clansmen in the stockade village!
Wen Buzuo, on the other hand, dashed in huge strides towards the young married woman who was entangled and was fighting hard against Wen Leyang.
The corpse had only just been tossed into the air when dozens of tuberfleece flower vines rose from the ground like poisonous snakes. The vines raised their heads and shot towards the sky before lashing ferociously at the corpse.
Whack!
The loud noise was crisp and clear. Under the constant lashing of the tuberfleece flower vines, the yellow-shirt person's corpse turned into a puddle of crystal-clear shimmering liquid. Countless droplets happily dispersed and splashed in all directions before raining onto the heads of the Qing Miao clansmen in the stockade village. The sound of agonized screams began to echo from all directions. In a flash, every Qing Miao clansman who had been rained on by the poisoned droplets clutched their throat in agony. Their bodies convulsed and they were poisoned to death in the blink of an eye!
The Qing Miao clansmen had almost managed to kill the Second Mother and the rest, yet unexpectedly the poisonous rain had dropped down from the clouds. There were dozens of them who had not managed to dodge in time and were poisoned to death one by one. The frontline of the battle became messed up all at once.
The three-inch nail sneered as he walked in great strides and planted deep footprints in the direction of the Miao stockade village. His signature skill was the Poison of Water; other than a thin layer of skin on his first victim, the rest of the bones, flesh, and blood vessels had turned into poisoned water. There was no way to salvage the poisoned victim!
Meanwhile, Wen Leyang suddenly shouted loudly and simultaneously bounced his body which was entangled with the young married woman. He separated with her in midair before each of them then slammed hard back onto the ground.
The young married woman's eyes were wide open, she was flooded with unwillingness and disbelief as strands upon strands of strong grayish and white-colored poison flashed past her eyes once in a while. Initially, her primordial spirit energy had obviously triumphed over this teenager who had been entangled with herself into a hideous mess. However, the opponent's ghastly punch was like a nest full of hungry termites that chewed and gnawed on her energy strand by strand, greatly reducing it until finally her primordial spirit energy was completely drained!
As Wen Leyang tumbled onto the ground, he pointed at the young married woman and said to Wen Buzuo who was dashing over, "Detoxify her…keep her alive!" Before he could finish his sentence, the vision before his eyes brightened abruptly and a sharp long howl and the old monk's hoarse shout was heard concurrently!
The Fire Sparrow had burst into a ball of flames in midair, creating a lustrous and dazzling scene. The silver-colored little flying sword too fell to the ground in an askew manner. The old monk Ji Fei was ghastly pale and his body was trembling profusely as he forced a smile and cursed, "What a strong beast!"
Initially, the old monk had gradually conquered the better side of the struggle. If the Fire Sparrow had been a magical weapon, Ji Fei would surely have been on his guard in case the opposing party trumped up a countercharge in face of an impending death. However, the Fire Sparrow was unexpectedly a living creature with a fiery temper. It would rather die than retreat so it had intentionally exploded itself in midair, causing the old monk's primordial spirit which had been attached to the flying sword to suffer a strong vibration that severely wounded him.
The moon continued to crawl into the sky soundlessly as if it was entranced by the black-colored pillar of fire.
At the moment the moon directly lined up with the pillar of fire, the wicked witch Chi Liang suddenly stopped her dance. Her face was ashen as she slumped onto the ground but a satisfied and charming smile still hung upon her face!
The full moon was lined up perfectly with the soaring black fire and the savage sound of loud chanting suddenly transformed into a terrifying howl beyond everyone's imagination. It was as if the vast, open country had been punctured by a sharp object and all the air in the whole area was surging out and escaping with a loud howling sound. It absorbed every other sound from the space in a flash!
Everyone stopped their movements in the midst of the weird and horrible howl, their fragile eardrums utterly could not endure this terrifying pressure which was like a thick steel hammer accompanied by the imposing manner of the heavens splitting and the earth cracking. The unbearable sound drilled from every person's eardrums to the bottom of their heart.
Everyone, there was caught off guard and they immediately covered their heads with their hands as they tumbled onto the ground. Their bodies were like dried shrimps as they curled up with all their might, yet the brain-boiling howl could not be shielded by their palms!
Bushuo, Buzuo, and the old monk Ji Fei too screamed in agony. Their faces were akin to gold foil paper as they swayed twice an spun around in a semicircle on the same spot before they fell outstretched onto the ground!
The sky-splitting sharp howl took down everyone in a flash and broke all the witchcraft spells. The winter crows and golden bees wailed as they dropped and crashed into puddles of pulp!
The wicked witch Chi Liang leaned onto the fire altar. Her entire body was boneless and weak but a smile which was so sweet it made one's mouth parched and tongue scorched was still hanging on her face.
Just as the sky-splitting loud howl erupted, the pillar of fire in the middle of the Miao stockade village leaped around vigorously. Like a raging dragon, it struggled free from its black-colored shell's shackles and soared towards the sky from the holy altar! The darkness that had been stripped away from the sky disintegrated in the blink of an eye and scattered into s million pieces of remnants. However, the remnants did not disperse, it was like a humongous drifting object and surrounded the raging flames in midair while it danced seductively!
The raging flames suddenly erupted with a brightness that was more abominable than the steel prickles of the Buddha's Light Bug. It appeared without warning and the scorching brightness was akin to melted gold, it burned everyone's eyes in a flash!
The sky-splitting loud noise echoed around sharply as the apocalyptic magnificent brightness burned fiercely!
Layers upon layers of darkness exploded out of the pillar of fire and rapidly transformed its shape. In the blink of an eye, the darkness had turned into thousands of black-colored human figures which floated in midair in a ghastly manner. Each of the figures hugged the other in an agonized posture until they were formed into a ball.
The stretch of human figures of different sizes curled in midair while a group of Qing Miao clansmen of different ages wailed and tossed about as they lay on the ground. The black-colored human figures' postures in the sky were exactly the same as the Qing Miao clansmen lying on the ground who were being tortured by the loud noise and brightness.
A few frail-looking black shadows were being absorbed into the pillar of fire as the Qing Miao clansmen suddenly all let out a few shrill dying screams. Even the sky-splitting loud noise could not conceal the piteous wails of these dying men! The flames leaped and glowed as slowly, a gossamer strand of fine thread spun out from within the flames strenuously. It crawled out meters by meters desperately and slowly approached Chi Liang's body.

After writing a reply, I sent it with an owl and started to plan for tomorrow shopping.
First stop Gringotts. And I have to visit pet store before buying the wand because I will gain another animagus form after getting my pet.
After shopping, I will have to mainly practice Occlumency. Can not afford to let Snape and Dumbledore to see through my rebirth or about the future events.
And after getting my wand, I can start learning spells. And even try to do some spells wand-less if possible. 
Then I will have to order a trunk with features like Newt Scamander. After all, can not force a phoenix in cage and wampus cat in a single room for seven years.
Then I have to order a robe that can be wore by an animagus. Obviously, normal clothes are not worn by animagus. I have my clothes wasted during my first attempt of Thunderbird.
I also have to buy materials for the trunk to make it suitable for me as well.
Like, herbs and plants to plant them in my case, potion cauldron set. For practice and emergency uses. 
Also have to buy book on Legilimency and Occlumency, to master them through practice in before my O.W.L exams. Can not trust any ministry officer except a few.
After planning all this, I left for my father study room.
Logan: Father, I sent the reply to my acceptance letter. But I have a few hard requests to ask of you.
Father: Let me listen first.
Logan: I want to learn Occlumency and Legilimency to better protect my mind.
Father: But why Legilimency?
Logan: Because it is easy to learn if some one had already learned Occlumency and it definitely have many benefits.
Father: Okey. This can be done. So what else?
