That day was marked by her awakening as a "Wiccan", a descendant of the old Gods. Now she is hunted by creatures of chaos known as Daemons, all the while searching for her mother and learning about her magical powers.

She is descendent of both a Wiccan and a shaman. Unaware of her powers she attracts both good and evil . He is a descendant of strong powerful shaman who can communicate with the spirits. Can he guide and teach her before she gets herself in trouble.

Karma.
  To most people karma means you get what you give. I believe some people are just born with good or bad karma. It's natural. You just have it or not. Growing up, I was unlucky in most experiences. I have bad karma and no one can tell me otherwise. When I was little I got sick. Like really sick. So sick that the doctors began to prepare for the worse and gave my family very low chances of me ever getting better. 
  To the world, I wouldn't leave the hospital alive. I remember lights, sounds, and people then nothing. Just darkness, shadows surrounded me. Suddenly I gasp, awake and sound. My parents and sister were next to me in my hospital bed. Everything seemed fine and all my levels had regulated back to normal. After a 24 hour viewing period, I was cleared then released.
  I ended up being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Now I have to take insulin shots and regulate my diet so I don't go into shock. Overall after being declared dead and brought back to life somehow, I'm a very normal and average teenage girl. Bad karma, but I'm just making the best of what life gave me.
  My name is Lily, I'm 17 and live with my parents, twin sister, and little brother. My twin is so beautiful and perfect it's insane. We look exactly alike but she just does everything so much better than I ever could. We are still absolute best friends though. I couldn't imagine a life without my twin. My mom is a Wiccan and believes in magic and witches. It's definitely fake but I'm open to anything given my experience. My dad is in the army and is gone a lot. He's currently away right now but he said he would call to tell us when he was coming back. My little brother is too preoccupied with his games to ever worry about his sisters. It's fine, really. Eventually my sister and I are going to go to college together and figure this life out right. Eventually.
  It's 9:10 PM on Friday. I'm finishing up my pre-calc homework as my little brother, Jimmy, runs into my room whining. 
  "Lil! Lil! My stomach hurts. I REQUIRE the food. Alllll of the FOOD!" He screams, annoying me. After all, I'm just trying to finish my homework for the weekend so I can go chill. I push him away.
  "Jimmy, you aren't gonna die anytime soon. I promise when I'm done in maybe 15 minutes I'll call up the pizza place. I legit have 2 problems left before it's done, ok?" I quickly finish up my last problem and pick up my phone. Jimmy ran off back to his game.
  "Hey you want pepperoni and sausage right!" I yelled at him. He probably couldn't hear me over his game. I look at my phone to check any messages I might've got but my stomach growls and distracts me. 9:53 PM on Friday. 
  Oh shit! I have to get money for the pizza before I leave! I walk through our outdated hallway, looking at the family photos that graze the walls. My siblings and me growing up, through grade school and high school, almost graduated. I knock on my sisters door and walk into her messy room. There's no one in there and the lights are off. What the hell?
  Wait.

Lily Stole is a normal teenage girl. Well, until she unleashes a side of her family history she never could have expected. A side of her that might’ve cause all the bad luck she has had her whole life.



Anglelicas pov: 

Sabatians seats me as he then calls for Jazmin. "Yes Sabastian you... called" her gaze is fixed on Mr Willows lying in a pool of blood unconscious. "Return him home before he wakes up and tell his people that he was taken care of by me." She nods and proceeds to move his body out of the room. Sabastian turns back to me. "Have you heard the folklore about a tribe of healers?" I shake my head. "Not that I can remember my Lord." "There was a tribe of men and close by a tribe of Wiccan. The tribes mostly kept to themselves despite being close by to each other until one morning a man and a Wiccan went foraging they met for the frist time by a beautiful oak tree that was surrounded by bushes with bundles of sweet berries. They fell in love and would meet at the fine oak tree every morning and watch the sunrise he was so fascinated by her tribe that she took him to vist the Wiccan tribe he stayed for a year. The Wiccan tribe was very open minded and welcoming to him they even thought him the spells they would cast and their beliefs. He was so educated and eventually become the frist male Wiccan himself. He grew to be a great healer while the women he loved was the greatest spellcaster eventually the two tribes were brought together the men were taught healing as the women would cast spells and grow the forest. The women were loved deeply by thier partners. Each closing thier own who they wished to marry. When the great healer married the love of his life they had a few children and the male were taught healing and the females were taught spellcasting all from a young age. Thier tribe grew for generations after that but over the past few years thier kin has become few in number. I am one of the few. My great grandfather was the great healer and his wife the great spellcaster they taught me everything my grandfather taught my father and then my father left his old notes and studies to me after he passed." He turns and walks towards the door behind the desk. "Could you join me in here?" Intrested I agree and we enter the room in the middle is a book pillar. Surrounded by candles and a few shelves filled with ancient books of wisdom. "I didn't know there were still Wiccan in the world." I say staring at the room in awe. He goes to a small table and light a stick of sage. He then sits on a cousion placed on the floor I follow his actions in taking a seat. Its... "amazing." I whisper. He closes his eyes and stays silent for a while as he does so my eyes glisten as the crystals surrounding us start to glow. My eyes focus on the roof seeing images of the moons and astrology now appear visible due to the light of the crystals. "Beautiful... absolutely beautiful." I say stunned by what my eyes are seeing. 

We leave the room and prepare ourselves for lunch. I still can not get the beautiful sight out of my mind. I wouldn't have it any other way. We finish out lunch and carry on with normal day to day activities. Sabastian is in his office doing paper work and business so I explore the mansion. I walk into a few empty guest rooms before finding a ballroom; a library as well as an art room. I walk into the art room and see Micheal sitting and drawing on an A2 piece of paper with coal. The whole room is the biggest out of every one I've ever seen it has a section for music, creative writing, painting as well as drawing. The walls and assumingly painted by Micheal and Sabastian as thier names are at the bottom corner of each wall section they did. "Oh, Anglelica I didn't see you there please feel free to explore and express yourself." I give him a smile to know that yhe offer is truly appreciated I walk around the massive room and look in detail at the walls studying them and the different art mediums used and styles between both Micheal and Sabastian. "If I may." Michael says as he stands to his feet. "Of course." He leads me behind a few easels to two right at the back. He turns both around to reveal that both are portraits of both Rebecca and I. "You both are truly talented." I analyze them in awe. "I'm sure you have a river full of talent in you waiting to flow out." "I wouldn't say talented but I did play a few instruments as a child. From what I can remember my father taught me how to play and we'd sit together by our campfire and play while my mother would sing along." I remance for awhile. "Let's see shall we?" We walk to the instruments. "Chose your blessing, Anglelica." I look over all the instruments but one I particular catches my attention. I pick up a varnished brown acoustic guitar and begin to tune it using my voice. Once it is in tune I start playing and singing along as I play. When I finish I look up at Micheal. "I was right your truly talented, before you came along and graced me with your talent Sabastian was the only person I've met that can tune the gituar by voice not only that but your voice is angelic and your playing is above par." I smile at his generous words. "Ah there you are I see you've found the art room." Sabastian enters but looks a bit taken aback when he notices the gituar in my arms. "Could you play something for me?" Sabastian requests. "Yes, I can my lord." With that I play another song strumming, string picking and singing along to my own tune. "My lady... you cease to amaze me." Sabastian says and places a kiss on my forehead. The more time I spend with them the more my heart longs to stay forever yet, I know I can't burden them as much as I wish to stay.

'The chains around her wrists hanging dead still, almost like the wind didn't wish to disturb her. She walks towards me. "My lord, I am Angelica, use me as you wish for I am now your faithful servant." she says bluntly to me. Almost like she's rehearsed these lines over and over.'

Brothers Sebatian and Michael have set out to help two women they care for deeply after finally buying them out of slavery, they work to make ensure them a normal happy life, but anglelica is not as normal as she seams, with a dark past and terrible curse.

Elysif asked the question in such a way that it seemed like she was simply asking a favor. Rebeccah didn't seem bothered by her question but she did seem confused. The child, not knowing what was going on, stood up and walked towards Elysif.


"Why can't you tell her? I thought you wanted to see Mama." Rebeccah asked, very confused as to why her sister wasn't going to see her mother anymore.


"Something came up so I can't see Mama right now. I want you to go see her and tell her I'll be there soon."


"But how will you know where Mama is?" 


"As long as you're with Mama I will be able to find her."


"But I still haven't finished making the circles. Mama will be very mad at me."


"I'll finish it for you. Just make sure that Mama knows I'm coming. I'll even bring her a present."


"Okay… Mama might really like a present." Rebeccah said with a hesitant smile.


    Elysif led Rebeccah out the door and into the meeting area in which everyone was waiting. Iscarat was now next to Mama Louise on the couch and the agents were minding their own business and talking with Scott in the corner of the room. However, Mordred, Lou, and Compton were missing. No one else seemed to acknowledge their disappearance so Elysif didn't bother asking where they went.


"Elysif!" Iscarat said in his raspy voice.


"Yes?"


"I finished that pendant you asked me to make for your sister." he said before holding it out for Elysif to take. It was a gold plated necklace with a reflective emerald placed in its center. The emerald itself was smoothed over to look like an oval shaped sphere. The chain holding it was a simple iron chain that was barely two millimeter in width.


"... Um, thank you Iscarat." she said, taking it from his hands.


"What's that?" Rebeccah asked curiously.


"A pendant… I had made for you." Elysif replied hesitantly. She wasn't entirely okay with using this child, innocent or not. She hated the fact that she was using a child to do her dirty work just like her mother had done without any problems before, which made her feel sick.


"Thank you! Can I wear it now, please." She replied ecstatically.


"O-of course." she said before slowly placing the emerald pendant over her sister's head. Rebeccah looked ecstatic as she did.  It was obvious that she rarely was given gifts.


"Thank you!" she said with glee.


"Now can you go to Mama and tell her that I'll be arriving soon?" Elysif asked.


"Of course!" she replied before running out the door.


    The agents, Scott, and Iscarat all got up as well and started out the door after her. Each of them except Iscarat were holding a small black box with a bluish tint. The usual lack of care that showed on Scott's face every day was replaced with pure seriousness. She knew what would be happening out there and wanted to join them. However, she also knew what would happen if she was captured. Instead she sat beside Mama Louise and began to softly cry over both what she had just done and the fact that she was useless at the moment.

    Scott, Iscarat, and the other agents walked a near block behind Rebeccah. As they did they saw a small group of people from the Wiccan college following them from the shadows as well. Among them was Dolfly who made it known to Scott that he was following them. The feeling of dread increased as they followed the completely unaware child in front of them. The people on the streets barely took notice of the agents as they walked. Which allowed a significantly easier time passing through. 


    From the outside it looked like a large group of men who were all armed with blades and holding a black box. It seemed rather threatening to those around them and the fact that their expressions were scary didn't help. Thankfully, the people of the streets knew to mind their own business or just didn't want to get involved in a fight if possible so they left them alone.


"This isn't the most incogni way of tailing someone but I guess they know what to do more than I." Dolfly said to himself as he tailed the agents.



"Okay, first of all, let's set up the parties," Gray said and snapped his fingers.

Rakna raised an eyebrow at the prompt that followed.

"Yes," he whispered and a new icon appeared in his field of vision. A quick mental input showed him the current members of the party, which currently were Gray and him.

"What about you three?" The clown turned toward Layla, Nyx, and Allan. "Normally, new recruits would form a party with the Guild they joined. But there isn't much good in separating your little group. You're fine with that, right?" He looked over Vera and Quill.

"I don't mind," the beautiful witch shook her head. "At least this way I can make a single party instead of two."

"I don't mind either," Quill replied simply.

"Good!" Gray smiled and forwarded the invitations to the trio who accepted without needing much convincing. "Now, here's how it's going to go; we overseers will watch you from the rear lines as you head to your first Trial and if the need arises, we will intervene."

"Question!" One of the girls from the Wiccan Guild raised her hand. "Where is the Trial?"

"Good question," Gray nodded. "There are two ways to navigate on a Plateau. Dumb luck and map."

"…?" Everyone looked at the clown weirdly.

Vera shook her head with a sigh. "Just tell your AI to open your map."

Heeding her words, the new Hosts mentally prompted their AIs and a System window appeared in front of them; one that they hadn't seen before.

Rakna looked closely at the image in front of him. In the center, a red light was flashing and was surrounded by five others, though white in color. The window was also obviously depicting their surroundings with the train's rails being very recognizable. Other than that, the virtual screen had a compass with it and three arrowheads were pointing in three different directions.

"The red dot is yourself. The white dots are the members of your party," Quill took over for the explanation. "The map will be filled as you explore the Plateau. In other words, a location cannot appear on your map if you haven't been there previously. But, the most important thing is the arrows; each one of them points you toward a Trial. This is something you'll quickly get used to as it is recurrent on every Plateau."

"However, I have to clarify the clown's words," Vera continued and Gray chuckled. "Dumb luck isn't a bad way of putting. Trials are not the only thing Hosts aim for. Dungeons, Exploration Quests, Bounties, World Bosses, Ruins, Treasures… You get it. Many things can be found on a Plateau, and Hosts tend to explore randomly until they find something of value."

"I guess that means the System has a reset mechanic?" Rakna spoke up, which confused most of the other recruits.

Vera smiled. "You're sharp. Yes. Every week Plateaus are reset and the natural formations on them are randomly regenerated. Dungeons and Quests are never located in the same place. Though, it doesn't necessarily mean that the contents themselves change as well. Do you understand?" She asked Rakna as well as everyone else at the same time who simultaneously nodded.

"Splendid. Now, be on your way, greenhorns," Gray said. "I'm sure all of this explaining has bored more than one of you. Head to one of the Trials and get wild. We'll be right behind you."

Rakna looked at his group and they shrugged at each other before following an arrow that pointed roughly to the north. They were the first ones to move and getting caught in the initiative, the rest simply went after them without raising any questions.

Fortunately, the Hosts recruited by Quill were not the type to try to lead in the first place. It applied to Vera's recruits as well. Those future witches were actually giddy to follow.

After jogging for a few minutes through the tall grass, passing by a few 'dinosaurs' which appeared to be peaceful, Rakna sensed something and stopped. He looked at his left, where the beginnings of a forest laid along with very thick bushes.

Before anyone behind him could ask why he stopped, the leaves rattled and something emerged before flopping on the ground before them.

"Really?" Allan uttered as they all stared at the thing. "I mean, sure, this is game, but come on. This just makes me feel like a mob."

The creature in front of them was in fact a big, round, transparent cyan slime. It had bubble-like patterns inside of it as well as a very small red stone.

Watching from the back, Gray snickered which was only picked up by Rakna who glanced at him with a blank look.

"Don't underestimate slimes," Quill said taciturnly. "They are more dangerous than you think."

As he spoke, more and more slimes started coming out from the bushes, slowly forming a small army of blobs as they approached the parties. When their number got over fifty, some people began to feel apprehensive and what Quill added afterward didn't help.

"They are near impervious to physical attacks. If they catch you, you will have trouble escaping its grasp. If you attack without a plan, you-"

He was interrupted as five slimes were abruptly lifted into the air and slammed against the ground with a force strong enough to make them splatter and die. Quill stood motionlessly with his arms crossed and the new Hosts all turned toward Flavia who had her hand extended.

"Eh?" She looked around at the people staring at her. "Was I not supposed to attack?"

"…"

Rakna snorted and kicked the ground without a word. Barely anyone was able to see him speed up before he arrived in front of the still increasing army of slimes. He whirled the glaive in his hand that no one had noticed him take out and swung it at three slimes.

The creatures were split into two right in the middle where the small red stone was. At the same time, the two sliced surfaces of the slimes first steamed because of Sonata's heat before turning to ice.

Without stopping, Rakna stepped forward past the dissolving slimes he killed and grabbed one of the others barehanded. Then, with a short pulse of mana, the entire creature froze before it was shattered with a kick.

After getting out of their daze, the others finally decided to join Rakna in fighting the slimes. Nyx breathed out and casually waved her hand. A few shadow spikes impaled a group of slimes in the distance. Among everyone here, her power was probably the most large-scaled. Even if it would take her quite a lot of energy, she was able to take out a hundred of these slimes in a few seconds.

Meanwhile, Allan tried to punch one of them only for the shock of the blow to be absorbed. He scowled and followed up with a kick. It did send the monster away but it hadn't done any damage. A lot of other physical fighters like him were struggling around him.

Of course, none of them were stupid enough to not notice the red stone inside them but getting to them with fists seemed impossible.

'That's what Quill meant by near impervious,' Allan thought as he fended off more slimes without truly being able to damage them. 'Magic then? But I still haven't copied any…'

As he and the others were lost in their thoughts, Rakna spoke up clearly and loudly enough for them all to hear. "Scatter force," he said indifferently as he cut apart two more slimes with a full spin of his spear. "Flavia did kill them by smashing them against the ground. They can take hits because of buoyancy but it won't work if the forces are spread. Don't rail your fist in. If you can't do it alone, attack two opposite sides in pairs."

All the while he spoke, his eyes never lost focus on the slimes and their impassiveness. Grabbing them, freezing them, slicing them… He was doing it without even sweating or thinking about it.

The other Hosts widened their eyes in surprise before following his advice. The members of the Madness Guild attacked the slimes in pairs and their bodies were squished from both sides. They failed to hold together their form before bursting into droplets of water.

"Witches," Rakna continued and the girls from the Wiccan Guild perked up. They had been using weapons such as knives to fight against the slimes. They were unable to use magic just yet after coming out of the Tutorial.

"Stop using those. Fall back. Learn your magic. These enemies are weak. This is as good an opportunity as any other. Close your eyes, concentrate and try to feel foreign movement inside your body. Mana is just like a sore limb. Concentrate and force it to move."

The girls blinked at each other before also following his orders. It almost felt natural to them as he told them directives one after the other.

From afar, Vera tilted her head. "Ara? How surprising. In contrast with his cold attitude, he has the talent of a leader. It is also amazing that he attained a sufficient understanding of magic to give others advice to control mana. Not even mentioning how easily he freezes those slimes. For some reason, it looks like every attack of his carries ice magic…"

"Indeed," Quill nodded. "He also grasped the slimes' physical properties in a short moment. He has an uncanny awareness for someone his age. Though, I have to disagree about the leader part."

"Hm? How so?"

"That's not leadership," Gray intervened with a calm, appraising tone. "That's commanding. This kid is not leading the others, he's outright telling them how to fight; how to win. He's not speaking for the sake of helping them, he's directing them in order to prevail. It's almost as if… I'm looking at a general employing his troops in the most efficient way possible. Although I don't believe it's as bad as him treating them as tools, it's not far from the truth."

"I agree," Quill squinted his eyes. "I've seen others with eyes like his. If it meant surviving or winning, he would probably be willing to go as far as cutting one of his own limbs or even killing an ally without hesitation."

Vera frowned. "Don't go too far now. You're making it sound like he's a heartless killer."

Gray cackled and waved his finger. "No, no. He's not a heartless killer. From what I've seen, I think he's got plenty of heart actually, although concealed. No, what we're saying is that he can become a heartless killer at the flip of a switch," he said and rubbed his chin. "I'm curious to know who was responsible for his uprising…"

Back to the recruits' group. The girls from the Wiccan Guild, after following Rakna's advice, had all managed to at least feel their mana. Others even had made their Mana-Control skill already.

The first of them to launch magic was the unofficial leader of the small female team, Sena. She had brown hair tied into ponytails and brown eyes that flared with magic energy as a fireball shot out from her hand and completely incinerated a slime.

Rakna glanced at them and grunted positively. He also took a look at how Pronos was faring with his poison. The little snake was doing his own experiments. He first had used his Eion Poison like normally and the slime had started glowing before evaporating.

Pronos followed by also activating his magic and a green aura surrounded him. His azure eyes gained an emerald pigment and within a few seconds, he had enclosed several slimes with a sort of fog. The monsters quickly turned into the same color as the phenomenon and rapidly began to melt as they died.

Other than him, Flavia and Nyx were also testing their magic. Though, their methods were vastly different. The former was openly trying to make gusts of wind and spikes of earth randomly. They were weak compared to what Aquila could do, but it was enough against slimes.

As for the former goddess, she was very subtle about it. She was alone to the side and when slimes approached her, they would immediately get swallowed by a maw of shadows while she fiddled with something in her hand; a small sphere of darkness contained in black electricity.

Then, there was Allan who sadly couldn't practice his magic which visibly depressed him if the comical dark cloud above his head was anything to go by; even as he pummeled the slimes with his fists.

As Rakna observed all of that, his body was moving on both instinct and habit. Because of that, at some point, he realized a bit too late that he was holding the last slime in his hand.

The monster had encased his hand in its body and true to Quill's words, it normally would be very hard to get away from it and Rakna could also feel the tinge of pain as if something was actively trying to burn his hand.

He huffed and the last slime froze over in a second before it was slammed on the ground. Rakna sighed and a crystallized breath came out of his mouth. His magic had been surprisingly easy to use and also fast.

Other than the passive 10% Cold damage at every attack, even the ones dealt with Sonata, he only needed to be in contact with a slime and spend a few mana points to freeze it. Granted, those slimes were barely level 5. But it was still a good start in testing his Star Magic.

On top of that, his mana consumption was very low for what he had done. His Soul Core could even thaw the mana costs by 10%. As for his stamina, it had decreased by 5. He was barely winded.

Rakna had no idea how long stamina took to recover or even how exactly its loss was calculated other than from skills, but he knew for a fact that the small amounts of energies he had used in this fight were already coming back to him.

"That was a nice show," Gray said while clapping, grabbing the attention of everyone. "Though we three would have liked all of you to figure things out purely on your own, following directives is something you'll have to learn in the future anyway. So, it's not bad. Now, get a move on! Next destination; the Trial. Hurray!"

The clown stuck his hand in the air only for the Hosts to ignore him and turn around. He groaned as put his hand back on his cane. "I swear kids these days can't enjoy a bit of comical relief."

Vera and Quill didn't comment and walked past him.

"Really? You two as well? Killjoys, the lots of you…" The cyborg grumbled.

Rakna was not normal. No, unmistakably not. Whether it was his appearance, his personality, his abilities, his identity, nothing about him had ever been banal. Was it his choice? No. He was merely but a tormented soul doing its utmost to live the life it had learned to never enjoy. 

Would being picked by a glorified universal abductor calling itself a system bring something out of him? Would he finally learn to breathe in the pool of blood that suffocated him?

The Harvester does not sow, he only collects. All he has ever known to feel was loss and the only thing he can do is take. He will devour their hearts and drink their blood if it is what it takes.

Wraiths are kind of a deamons way back then, until this newly generation came. The Wraiths are divided into five kinds and that is: 

The first Wraith is Specter, Specter is a disembodied spirit, a semi ghost. 

The second Wraith is the Alpha, a socially dominant especially in a group of animals. 

The third Wraith is a Witch, it has two kind of withches, Wiccan for a man or also known as Worlock and Wicce for a woman witch.

The fourth Wraith was the seven deadly sins. And the last. The new, and rarest instincts kind of a Wraiths.
