The second batch of workers from Sea City Base were all frightened when they saw the zombie crowd around the new base site on their way driving there. 
Countless zombies crowded on the road, jamming the entire area.
"Why… Why are there so many zombies?"
"Oh my! What if they found us? What should we do? If they all charge at us, we'd be eaten!"
The workers stopped their vehicle about thirty meters from the zombie crowd and all panicked.
Huang Tianfei, who was hiding among the workers, also fixed his eyes on the zombie crowd in shock. 
The zombies had turned their heads to the vehicle when they heard the noises from it. Sensing the strong human scent, the zombies all became agitated.
"Roar!"
"Roar!"
The zombies roared at the humans as they reached their arms and bared their teeth toward them. But strangely, they didn't make even a step to approach those humans.
"Drive back! We're not going! Are you feeding us to zombies!" Huang Tianfe burst in yells.
He pulled some strings to conceal his identity as a level-five superpowered man and made his way into the worker group.
After confirming that those Hades Base people were really building a new base in this area, Wu Chengyu felt that this was a really good opportunity for the commoners who didn't dare to venture to leave the base to kill zombies.
He set a power level limit for the applicants, because he didn't want the higher-leveled people, who were capable enough to go out of the base to hunt zombies and trade for food with zombie nuclei, to take the opportunities of survival which should belong to the commoners. 
The new base made great offers. The people who worked there would be provided with food and good payments, but only needed to do some construction work. Anyone would want a job like that.
However, the power-level limit that Wu Chengyue set disappointed the higher-leveled people. Without a doubt, many people would follow this rule, but there were some who decided not to. For example, the ones who liked to reap what they hadn't sown.
Huang Tianfei was one of them. He secretly pulled strings to conceal his true power level. So now, he was one of those workers, as a level-two superpowered man.
At this time, the hundreds of zombies which were crowding before his eyes scared him and made him want to run. He regretted, feeling that he should never have come here. He now believed that the others were all deceived.
Huang Tianfei pointed at those soldiers who were there to protect the workers and yelled, "They lied to us! There must be some kind of experimental base in this place! This is not a survivors base! They brought us here to do experiments on us, like what Yang Chao did before!"
Those soldiers who guarded behind and around the vehicle made no reaction to Huang Tianfei's accusation, as if they didn't hear him at all.
Du Yuanxing got out of the driver's seat and stood before the vehicle as he said to the people in it, "Everyone calm down. We are heading to a survivors base. These zombies, look at them, they won't hurt people. Look at them closely. They are not moving."
While speaking, he raised a hand to point at the zombie crowd.
"How can they possibly not hurt people? All zombies eat human beings! Do you think we have never seen zombies? Do you think that we're stupid?" Huang Tianfei shouted at Du Yuanxing as he refused to accept the latter's explanation.
"Yeah, how can any zombie not eat human being! Look at them! They're brandishing their teeth and claws! They're coming at us! Just drive away! Why are you still talking here?" Someone agreed with Huang Tianfei.
Most of those people were commoners who had no fighting capacity. They all panicked upon seeing the zombies. They found Huang Tianfei's words making sense, so they all decided to take his side. 
Du Yuanxing looked at those people, then abruptly crossed his arms and smiled, "Alright, I'll let you go back. However, are you sure that you'd be able to survive the coming winter if I sent you back? If you're willing to follow me in, get off the car right now and I'll guide you in. I assure you that these zombies won't even approach you. But, if you decide to stay in the truck, you will not be allowed in later."
Many people from the slums would die every winter after the apocalypse. It was hard for the old, sick, and disabled people to survive a winter with all the starvation and coldness. 
Therefore, every spring when the weather started to get warm, each base would ship out a batch of corpses.
Winter served as a cleaner to clean the people with low survivability out of the bases. 
As Du Yuanxing mentioned winter, some of the people in the truck quieted down. As commoners, they deeply understood how cruel and terrifying winter could be.
Du Yuanxing continued, "Don't you believe in your Chief? How could he ever try to harm you? Even if he wanted to get rid of you, he wouldn't need to make this so complicated, would he? Also, only a pervert like Yang Chao can come up with the idea of that kind of an experiment. Do you think your Chief Wu and Chief Zou are men like that?" 
'No,' those people answered that question silently. They didn't say any word out, but the looks on their faces spoke for them.
"Eh… You may know a person's face but not his mind! Yang Chao seemed to be fine before we found out about what he did, isn't that true?" As the others were swayed, Huang Tianfei couldn't help but start talking again. In fact, he was already much less confident than before.
Du Yuanxing glanced at him and found that he was hiding behind the others.
He blinked, then turned and made two steps forward. After that, he turned around and stood before the car as he looked at those people. 
"I'm gonna say this one more time. All who want food and quilts get out and follow me in. For the ones who decide not to come, I won't force you. I'll let the soldiers send you back."
The people started glancing at each other. Soon, some of them got off the truck.
Those people didn't take part in the conversation. They had all noticed that those zombies were really not moving. Even though they had all been baring their teeth and showing their claws, none of them made one single step toward this area.
When Du Yuanxing was talking, those zombies stayed where they were.
As some people got off the vehicle, the rest of the people who had hesitations were flustered. They didn't want to risk their lives, but did fear the cold winter.
"We… We trust Chief Wu!" At last, these people gritted their teeth and jumped off the truck.
Before long, they all stood by Du Yuanxing's side, staring at the zombie crowd with fear, not even daring to talk.
Soon, only about eight workers were left on the truck; Huang Tianfei was one of them.
He looked around, then spent a while observing the zombie crowd and found that those zombies did really not come close to the truck.
And then, he slowly followed the others out of the vehicle.

When they realize the the situation, it is too late roots and vines appeared at nowhere they imprisoned and some are eaten by carnivorous plant. They are plants produce by Cynthia as a former Botanist, where she studied different plants. Making her Abilities become stronger the only drawback they limited in number and some of them are needed.



When the government and military personnel Received the news.They are are relieved and confused at Lucas action since he didn't used them in the zombie wave, but they have no time to argue since he well explained it later.



meanwhile, in the Frontline.



"Lucas I gathered every intelligent zombies they are all in prison. So, you will harvest there bloodstone and nucleus later?" Cynthia asked while lying her head in Lucas shoulder. They looked like in date, if not a zombie wave approaching toward them.



"Yes I will harvest those later and use there blood to fortified the Juggernaut v.1" Lucas replied and kiss her, he said.



"Prepare! yourself since, leader type zombies are not dumb for not making a countermeasure." 



Like Lucas said they are not dumb. When the situation become there disadvantage. In his anger Zombie Michael throw a disfigured female zombies toward the ground like an egg hitting the ground. *pssk~*


Then, he made a plan with  one roar everything has changed.

When zombies heard the roar of there leader. The zombies started to form a 'C FORMATION' dividing some zombies specialist in ambush and marksmanship leaded by C1 zombies. They are formed in different squadron moving toward flanked. They used there speed and terrain advantage to run amok in every side. In the center of 'C FORMATION' S1 zombies make a shield from the car roof to be protected from explosion and behind them are the remaining S1 zombies acted like a catapult as they throw debris and abandoned vehicle toward the camp.



*Bang~*Bang~*Boom!*


When the survivors saw the debris are coming and some of the debris has a zombies riding. They are shaken and waiting for miracles will happened. Then, a miracle happen trees started to grow in the ground and making them a natural defense and zombies who are riding die one by one though sniper bullets or vines made them immovable. Then, the sniper unit fired there guns piercing the zombies and some used the anti tank sniper bullets killing every S1 and some zombies. They become more mad, when they set off in the red line.


"Enemy red line!"A scout shouting from the top of building.

Then, Nicholas raised his hand dropped shouted "fire!"

A catapults created with Cynthia's and Lucas help. Started to fire a burning debris launch toward the zombies direction.

Also, a group of drones started to fly around carrying a bags loaded by flour mixed with charcoal, bulb loaded by blood.

They group of drones dropped every materials they are carry. Making other zombies become more confused and started to attack others since the blood is attached to others zombies. Then, a fire spread everywhere and small explosion from flour dust and charcoal dust spreading with contact in small fire a dust explosion happened. During the drones assault zombies respond quickly zombie marksman started to fire there guns, but everything is just the beginning.


"Operator, open dance floor let them dance!" Lucas command.


Next moment the survivors release a blinding light with the help of foil paper and some lights made some zombies closed there eyes for short moment, and a sounds resound everywhere trapping the zombies inside the noise lead there ears start to loose since they are sensitive. They become mess making zombies to meet a real trouble with there sensitive sense being destroyed they started to attack everything in irritation.

In there chaos the catapult keep firing and new weapon appeared a ballista fired a javelin arrow attached with fire, bloods and gasoline tank. Making every zombies cursed there sensitive sense and they crumbled.



As survivors celebrate, Lucas instinct kick in telling him 'fall back!'



"Everyone retreat! Stay away as possible, the real thing is starting." Lucas shouted.



He walked forward facing the wave and he removed his black cape revealing his Butler suit. Next moment a strange thing happened as he raise his both hands and wave a oni-mask and a hat appeared in both hands. Then, he put his mask and hat facing the zombie wave.



When Lucas put everything in, the world of all survivors stopped toward the sudden realization. The person behind the mask of Hell Butler no other than Lucas who met them 4 days ago. Then, every men inside the camp become cautious they dragged away there own daughter, partner and girlfriend. Some of them become envious and some started to blush looking at Lucas below. Ladies who hit in puberty started to looked at Lucas in desire, some them started there delusion because, according to report of every ladies who slept with Hell Butler. He is good, the stamina is great and the son is big and harder than steel. Mariam who has a strong hunch can't do anything, but to blush and she conduct a new plan name Jairah's father plan.


Likewise, the zombies movement stopped. They step back slowly and zombie Michael trembled he feeling the Apex of all predators. He already revealed his fang, the incarnation of death, chaos and destruction was looking at them while smiling. 


Then he vanish and next moment cry of every zombies heard and a thunderstorm happened. Lucas movement cause spark of blue thunder causing explosion, fried bodies and separated bodies of zombies.


Seeing the situation zombie Michael smiled raise his hand he thumbs up to Thumbs down. Looking at Lucas and he made a strongest sound.


"ROAARR!!!~"


Then the land started to shake and a next moment a two giant skeleton appeared. Strong energy surge in the surrounding happened making every normal survivors weaken. Some surrounding zombies roar in pain as they melted with the dead zombies there flesh is slowly absorbing one of the giant skeleton.

Few minutes later

The energy of the surrounding making every zombies become more aggressive. As, there body and eyes become red and releasing ominous air.

  After a few seconds of running into the city, and avoiding a few zombies bites, Mike has successfully got close to Ronald and Gerald. He passes to them that backpack with guns. Quickly, Ronald has taken the first gun, which is a UZI, and Gerald has taken a pistol. Then, these three survivors, when they see a lot of zombies coming at them, they have started blasting their guns at them.
  Ronald has killed three zombies by shooting their head with the pistol, while Mike is using his UZIs to kill 14 zombies in the heads. Since Mike has some video game experience, this doesn't seem scary to him when the first days of zombies started. Gerald is just stabbing those zombies and cutting their heads with those kitchen knives and cleavers. He stabbed one zombie head and let that knife into his head, and then he stabbed the other with the second one into the neck, then he quickly takes the knife from the first corpse, and stabbed him back into the head. He retrieves those two knives and jumps on the other one, but Ronald has shot that zombie in the head.
  Gerald is looking back at Ronald, and he thanks for doing that shot. Ronald is reloading his gun by using another fully loaded clip. Mike is also reloading his gun, and he shoots those eight zombies from the other side of that tow truck that was running at him.
  "Damn those runners!" says Mike after he killed the last zombie who runs to that tow truck.
  "We are almost ready." says Gerald running to that tow truck with his knives with blood on their blade. "Prepare the truck, Ronald."
  "Sure." say Ronald who is kicking that zombie who was coming on his left, and then he shoots that zombie in the head. "Military couldn't kill one of those, but we could kill almost 30 zombies."
  "Those bastards used to stay still in their base. No wonder this city or other parts of the worlds are such a mess, son." says Gerald to Ronald who heard him talking about the military and dissing them.
  Ronald is taking the wires under the wheel is used to direct the car, is conducting a few wires, who made the car turn on. They could've tried to search a zombie cadaver and search for a key, but they think that attempting to use Ronald car stealing skill would work much better than a key that might be broken in a worst-case scenario. Thankfully, Ronald successfully is turning on the car and jumps to the driver seat since he was the one who did the hard work at turning on the car. Mike and Gerald are going into the back seat.
  Ronald is going back to that trailer that was blocking their way. When their tow truck arrived close to the trailer, Ronald and Gerald are using the hook to try and tie this trailer somehow. They found a way, a hole in the trailer, and use it to attach the hook into that hole. After they successfully put the hook into the trailer, they are signalling to Mike to put the gear forward and press the accelerator pedal.
  The trailer is successfully moving from their way, but it also made some horrible noises. Which are attracting some zombies. Ronald and Gerald are running back into the van they were driving from that van. Mike is leaving the truck fast, but without taking the pistol that was left there by Ronald. And that was the only pistol that only had a full clip of ammo made for pistols.
  They are entering the van in a good shape. Ronald is going at the driver seat, Mike on the other front seat, and Gerald on the backseat. But, when they did enter the van, the radio was still working and that woman was saying the same word.
  "Help! Help! Help! Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!"
  "A survivor?" asks Ronald.
  "Yes. But she is located in France."
  "How did you know?" asks Gerald.
  "I talked with her a bit, while you two were searching for a way out."
  "What you told her?" asks Ronald.
  "About our plan to go into the sea and the zombie types. She just told that the zombies there are the normal ones we have encountered so far."
  "There are not those zombies who are climbing no those who are running?"
  "No. That's what she told me, but she also told me that she doesn't know what to do."
  "Alright, we should talk this on the road, boys!" says Gerald who sees a few zombies walking to them. "The Undeads are walking and other zombies to us."

  A few days ago, the building where those three survivors were living, are encountering a hard time. Their shelter has both of those two doors broken, and the barricades also broken. But they do not know who did it because these three survivors were sleeping in the same room since in other rooms were a few zombie climbers who were close to drag them and drop them on the main road into the city. Luckily, there were not many people who died when those things have started to climb. 
  These three survivors were sleeping like a baby and did not hear the survivors who were yelling for help, not the zombies could enter their room since it got tolerably locked up by Gerald, as a safety measure. 
  When they wake up from their slumber and opened the door, a few zombies were in the hall and greeted them. Gerald saw those zombies, and he quickly locked the door back, while those two survivors are looking worried at Gerald, and he told them.

It is the year 20XX and something bad happened to Earth and humanity, but much worse to humanity to be precise. The thing it has happened, it is known as a zombie apocalypse by the modern generation. 
It presents the stories of a few groups of survivors across the world who are either going to stay among undeads, zombies, climbers, swimmers, vomitrons, flamers and tons of other types of zombies, or try their luck to run on inhibited islands with or without military help and live safely until everything comes down. Eventually.

Around the time when Luke was being given the clues and information about the spread and possible sources of the zombie disease, anomalies were unfolding in the city of Bremen, the capital of Jackson.

Zombies began to fill the underground waterways like bean sprouts and were headed somewhere like students under strict rules. 

The place they headed for was an underground plaza that was set in the middle of the waterway.

In the past, the underground plaza built by dwarves had a shelter and a fort that was 100 meters wide and 10 meters high.

With such a large underground plaza, zombies from Bremen City and the nearby places too could move in. 

There was a high platform in the center of the plaza, and hundreds of people were gathering around it. 

They were definitely people who weren't zombies!

"Oh, the disciple of El Kassel!"

"Throw out the fake angel and show us the path to the new world!"

"We believe in the disciple!"

People were screaming madly and praying to the man who was on the platform.

He was none other than, Archbishop Constantine, who had disappeared from Bless. 

Constantine, with a faint smile on his face, looked at the people and asked,

"Soon, there will be a rise of a new and real kingdom of God on this earth, just as you all wished. In order for that to happen, we need to hide ourselves from the people who have been deceived and hail the fake angel out there. Can you all trust me and follow me till the end?"

At the question, a man with a strong physique stood up and screamed. 

"If the disciple asks, I would gladly jump into the fire!"

"I will punish the witch and her followers!"

"I will stand as the foundation for purifying evil and establish the true kingdom of God!"

One after the other responded, which made Constantine speak, "Huhuuu. You all deserve to go to heaven after your deaths."

Constantine, who smiled out of joy, began to give out series of instructions to the representatives of the groups and headed out of the underground plaza. 

One of the follower asked Constantine and his attendants who climbed onto the boat in the waterway, "Where should I take you?"

"Go to plaza 8."

Under the city were dozens of underground plazas that were created by the dwarves. 

It wasn't a small number of people who began to turn into Constantine's followers and stayed with the zombies. 

After checking in all the underground plazas, and the behavior of the zombies, Constantine headed back to the ground. 

The place where he arrived was at the manor where Archbishop Antero stayed at. 

All the priests had died and fled, so the ones who took over the place were Count Marcus and Constantine's followers who accompanied them from Bless. 

"You have come, brother?"

"Yeah, well, did it go well?"

At Constantine's question, Count Marcus smiled and answered, "Yes, with the help from the Grey Order, a large number of zombies in the nearby areas have been collected and hidden in the nearby forests and valleys. If that witch goes over there, she will never get out of there alive."

While in Bless, those who were wearing grey robes visited Constantine in secret. 

They called themselves the people of the Grey Order and that they received divine revelations and were asked to follow Constantine who was selected as the disciple. 

They were a group, which had never been heard till then, but Constantine accepted them without a question or doubt about their identity. 

It wasn't simply because they supported or were willing to follow him. 

Their leader, Baymon, would give out the same energy that flowed from God who descended to help him, which made him trust the man. 

Following the ideas of Baymon, Constantine led his followers to Jackson and then took control of Bremen City. 

There were over 300,000 zombies in Bremen City, yet none of them seemed to be hostile toward Constantine. 

Maybe they knew that Constantine was the true disciple of God, and the zombies who were exposed to the light given out by him would turn back. 

Moreover, although not to the extent of himself, the so-called priests of the Grey Order knew how to overcome the zombie crisis.

Foolishly, some of the followers even suspected that men of that Order could have been warlocks. 

However, such people who were accusing them of being warlocks ended up turning sick and then changed into zombies. People thought of it as a punishment from God for being faithless and never spoke about it again. 

Constantine, who seized the city of Bremen, returned a few zombies into humans. 

However, he wasn't some kind and loving natured man for turning those zombies into humans. 

He would select and treat only those zombies who would be essential for the creation of the true Kingdom of God. 

Those who were turned back to humans were noble people, or Gigant riders, knights or merchants, wizards, scholars or someone famous.

He wasn't just trying a cure. 

Even though he thought of them to be incompetent, women with special features and beauty would be revived. 

'Well, it isn't possible for the men alone to create the new world.'

And of course, no one thought that Constantine was doing worthless stuff. 

On the contrary, those who noticed what he was doing would offer them a zombie with a pretty face. 

And people who would do that were being treated like loyal followers and began to turn into those kinds of men who would jump into fire for Constantine. 

They were being saved, but that wasn't the only reason. There was something that Constantine and the Grey Order would always say, "Those who follow the False God or the witch's God's Will, will neither die nor live but will suffer forever!"

"Only those who are chosen and trusted to be loyal to God will be the people of the new kingdom!"


The zealous believers, who completely believed the revelation, were given the power to command the zombies. 

In the witch hunt that would come, they would end up serving as great sacrifices and shields. 

"How is the Saint Guards?"

"A great number died while going against the zombies, but those who went into hiding were caught by the Grey Order priests and our followers."

"Those guys must be rather easy to catch, yet our men did a good job."

"The skills of Baymon and the Grey Order are great."

Contrary to what was known, the 1st group of the Saint Guards who had reached the place weren't entirely wiped out. 

They were actually waiting for the reinforcements from Bless to come and assist them.

Unfortunately, Constantine's followers, and not the reinforcements, got to them first. 

"How did it go? Did they say that they would follow me?"

"Those unbelievers, they seem like they would follow that fox till the end. I'm thinking of using them to show an example," Count Marcus answered. 

Priests or paladins didn't turn into zombies even after bitten by a zombie. 

The moment the disease would go in contact with their bodies, the divine power would act and turn their bodies into ashes. 

And it didn't matter even for the Saint Guards.

"Well, that is a pity, but we had no other choice."

"What if there was a way that didn't lead to such a pity?"

It wasn't Count Marcus who said that. 

It was a middle-aged man in a grey robe. 

He was Head Baymon, the head of the Grey Order.

"Some wizards have been scouting the place with fly magic, but as they were scared of the zombies, they didn't seem to fly close enough to see anything. They won't know anything until we strike."

"Good! But we will need to have a great bait to drag the witch in here…"

Veronica III was currently working in the south of Bremen, a town called Wolfs. 

No matter how perfect their preparation was, there was no reason for her to come all the way to the city. 

"Huhu. Well, I managed to find something that could be used as bait to bring in that fox, let me show you."

With a smile on his face, Count Marcus spoke and clapped his hands. 

The door opened when the knights brought in an elderly priest and put him on his knees. 

"Oh my, this man is…?"

The man that entered the room was someone Constantine was familiar with. 

It was Archbishop Antero who was in charge of Jackson. 

Along with a few survivors, he was hiding in a place until the men of Count Marcus discovered them. 

Antero was curious about the people whom he saw were wandering around the city with no zombies attacking them. 

What kind of person wasn't scared of zombies? 

But, when he saw Constantine in front of him, he managed to guess what was happening. 

"You! You were the one who made this ruckus come alive!"

"Huh, what nonsense is that? This is the punishment of El Kassel for the witch and her followers."

The words of Constantine only made Antero angry and yell. 

"God's punishment! Don't go around spewing nonsense!"

It was certain that Constantine had been working hand in hand with some warlock because of his greed to enjoy power!

Otherwise, it was the act of a force who wanted the empire to suffer and were using Constantine as their scarecrow!

"What? How dare you say such words to God's disciple…!"

Antero's words seemed to have upset Constantine. 

"You dirty and worthless bastard! Are you even a priest? I don't know what you are planning, but what you want will never be yours, Constantine! You will be punished!"

"Kuek! Take this guy out right away! Drag him out and shred him to pieces till he dies!"

"Brother, please control yourself. If you kill the bait, we will lose the witch!"

Despite, Marcus's constant pleading, Constantine found it hard to settle down. 

Baymon, who was watching things from the side, came out.

He pulled out a black necklace from his sleeve and shook it from side to side in front of Antero and recited a spell.

"The lie you see from the eyes and the false sounds which enter your ears. The truth is what the mirror inside your heart shows you…"

"Wh-what is that? What are you doing?"

When an ominous red light began to shine from the red jewel on the necklace, Antero tried to turn away his head. 

However, the spell that was being chanted by Baymon caught his eyes, as if he was chained to see the jewel move. 

Within a moment, Antero's eyes began to turn blurry. 

Falling into a state of haze and drunkenness, once the spell from Baymon was done, Antero bowed his head to Constantine. 

"Ohoh, Holy Pope."

"Huh? What the hell did he say…?"

"Has he lost his mind?"

When both Constantine and Marcus was confused, Baymon explained it to them in detail. 

"I just twisted the man's brain so that he would think that you're the pope. He now sees you as the witch he serves."

"He mistakes me for the pope?"

"Yes, he will never be able to decline any order from you."

The magic that Baymon just used on Antero was a magic that could affect one's mind. It was hallucinations and illusions on the eyes of the man. 

In addition, it was like brainwashing, Antero would act as the slave and listen well to everything his master says. 

Baymon's words only made Constantine smile. 

"The Saint Guards too can be tamed this way."

"Ture. The plan can go ahead as planned. There would be no problems."

"Huhu. Then we will be able to take the neck of that witch!"

"The Holy Empire will now belong to us!"

Watching Constantine and Marcus smile, the guardian of Arsene, well, the one who was made of Baymon, well, Saymon, smiled.

It was almost as if he was looking at two puppets moving according to his wishes.

Shaymon, the man who has achieved the apex of dark magic, is framed as being a Demon King and is killed.

'I will not let it end like this!'

He finally achieves new life but reality was cruel. Being born after 500 years, he was born as the descendent of his rival, the Sword Emperor!

Steve slowly made his way to the front of the line and looked towards the lobby. He saw the zombies and was a bit shocked, but could still keep a calm face. He slowly counted the number of zombies in the room and the possibilities of their group taking them out with no noise. 

He thought, 'If what Denton says is true and many elderly are up there, we should go for a frontal attack and kill the zombies as quickly as we can here. We can not face them on our way back here.' and nodded to himself. 

He slowly returned to his place and said in an audible voice, "We should probably kill the zombies out there in the lobby. It will be tough to have the elderly cross secretly. There are around 35 zombies out there are 19 including Mona here. So let's make this quick. Don't waste your bullets and aim for the heads." 

All the soldiers nodded including Mona and Steve said, "Ok then let's move out. Mona, as you use a sword you have to go close, but do not worry I will have your back covered the entire time and shoot down the ones near you." making Mona nod again.

Slowly one by one the soldiers went out of the hallway and positioned themselves behind some furniture closer to them, taking cover. Mona slowly followed them out and went to the nearest zombie while Steve stayed a bit far from her with a gun in his hands. 

Mona slowly killed off the first zombie starting the attack. The soldiers who took aim before shot out bullets rapidly evading Mona and taking down zombies. Mona immediately ran to the next zombie that was already near her and stabbed her sword right into its throat, killing it. 

Another zombie jumped on her from behind and got shot by Steve, who was looking after her. She glanced back and gave him a nod before resuming her attack. All the zombies had their complete attention on Mona, who was the closest to them, while the soldiers behind were shooting them down slowly. 

The empty gun shells slowly fell down from each gun and the already blood-stained shirt of Mona became darker. Mona was moving like a dancer, elegantly killing off the zombies near to her. They were successful in not attracting much attention to themselves due to the silencers used by the soldiers. 

Denton continued to watch this while staying in the hallway, observing each and every person. He was useless in the big fights like this and would only create more problems if he tried to kill zombies, hence opted out. He promised himself to learn how to use a gun after he got back to the base.

The soldiers continued to fire and Mona continued to kill until each zombie in the lobby was killed, taking 20 minutes in total. Many bodies were near Mona standing in the middle of them, while bullet shells fallen on the ground were also not a negligible amount. 

Steve slowly walked towards Mona with Denton behind him and the soldiers also coming out of their positions. Slowly observing that all the zombies are dead and there are no more, Steve turned back towards the soldiers and said, "Ok now, five of you stay here and guard this area till we come back."

Steve looked at Mona, surprised by her killing, and complimented her, "You were better than I give you credit for." 

Mona only smiled and Steve then said, "Ok, let's get going." and made their way up, leaving 5 men to guard the lobby. There were now 7 people on the first flower and 13 soldiers with them. Steve felt 7 were enough and they could retreat if they faced problems. 

So, Mona led the rest towards the hallway to the next stairs and opened the door. All the soldiers made their way in and she closed it back once again. 

"Ok, let's make our way up," said Mona, leading them.

As the soldiers climbed, the bodies surprised them on the stairs. They felt amazed and their respect towards Mona and Mark grew. It was a big feat for normal citizens like both of them to kill and get through these zombies. 

Since the outbreak occurred not a single soldier was free, they had to go out on several missions at a time, trying to save zombies and secure a headquarters for themselves in the city. It has been very tough for them lately, and they knew it might get tougher as time passes by.

They slowly went up, crossing each floor, making no sound. As they finally reached the 15th floor, Mona turned and looked at Steve, who gave a confirmation nod. She slowly unlocked the door and went inside. After observing no zombies in the hallway, she gestured to the rest to come in.

Closing the door, all of them made their way across the hallway, Mona peeked out into the lobby and found there were only 5 zombies probably from the staircase which was filled with zombies across them. 

"THE END IS HERE"

The only sentence which made sense in the situation Mark was in. Trying to take the easy way out from all the horrors of his life Mark Blaze encountered the eruption of Zombies. The fight for survival has started. Would Mark be able to survive while facing his dark past he wanted to get away from or would he lose everything once again?

This world has changed! It used to be normal until the day a devastating change happened people were coming out of their graves! They were all zombies! I am a cyborg mutant,2/3 human and 1/3 mutant! I was born a mutant because I was a scientific experiment, I call my self two by third human because of the fact that I was made through his blood,the blood of my creator known as dr Kevin and he is also the one who turned me into a cyborg because of my request to slay those zombies! Dr Kevin has made a whole army of robots (with help of course) to annihilate those zombies of this planet....He thinks that a mad scientist must be behind this apocalypse and I think that makes sense because how else could they have appeared.... definitely not through an alien invasion like come on aliens don't even exist! My nickname is mecha turtle the mode changer! There are total 100 areas and 51 of them are attacked on daily bases..  "There has been an Attack on the area 26, I repeat that there has been an attack of zombies on area 26 , This is an emergency!"said by the robot in the control room... I will have to hurry! Innocent lives are in danger! Mode "speed"! And I made it there within 1 minute... The zombies were way too many and they were all rank B! This will take a lot of time to finish.... And their leader is probably between them... I have to defeat them real quick! Mode speed plus brain plus lightning activate!(It's normal to shoot beams or energy balls for everyone)I got busy clearing my way to the boss and after 9 minutes the ones who were to come with me but I went without them arrived and so The process was now much easier, These zombies weakness was electricity, a single electric shock could kill them... We then later cleared our way to the boss and he looked like he had eaten about 10 brains in the last few days ( 1 brain gives them 10 times a super human strength!)This battle is about to be fun! Take this you oversized nerd! The monster looked at me and tried to punch,I dodged it and the damage was 10 houses! I then counter attacked him by punching him on the gut...A weird acid came out of his mouth and then he made a horrible sound and then the other zombies came out of the ground and cornered us and they all started making horrible sounds, I then used blaster mode and finished them all before they could do anything....but the leader he absorbed it and it was way too much energy so .... he died because the beam was lightning beam. I told Dr Kevin about the acid and the horrible sound,the moment I told him this was the moment he got serious And I had also told him about how they appeared out of the ground after the sound. He predicted that they are using some kind of language! This is just horrible,I don't want those zombies to plan against us humans, I mean like If they start planning things will get pretty ugly!Dr Kevin will meet with the Ninja organisations Chairman as they will be helping us from now on and I heard one of their talented ninja Alexa will be staying here which will be terrible because I cannot understand women!Area 51  Is the worst zombies spot mainly A and S ranks attack there 2 times per day and the human society can't get out as the zombies are surrounding that place,and you will have to go with a whole country's population as that is what I think it is their main base! I will destroy them all,I will have my revenge! They (zombies)killed my family in front of my eyes ,I would've also died that way if Natsu hadn't arrived,Natsu is the man I wanna be like ,he is strong enough to take on an S ranked zombie without a problem S ranked aren't the strongest , Z rank is and a Z ranks threat level is a country and we believe that there boss (the zombies boss)is a Z rank as that would explain why Area 51 is always filled with strong ranked zombies and no weak zombie has ever been seen there! It is a good thing that the Z rank isn't attacking because if he does Area 51 will not even have a single human alive,all they do in there is pray for their own safety.... I want to be the hero who saves this world from this utter chaos but people die and so they reanimate and turn into zombies but I will find a way to end this plague!The Zombies never rest and neither do we,we will show them who is the stronger race! I went there and saw that she looked serious and I think I know why , Our robots capabilities and Doctors subject on the zombies.... I think she likes shopping as she is wearing the latest fashion known and also she forgot to remove the tag which is attached and you have to tear it off!

Kabachi a mutant cyborg has his life changed when his family died and he could only live with his uncle named dr Kevin Louis,Dr Kevin and his comrades are known as the heroes of this world as they are the ones who are fighting the apocalypse and Kabachi the mutant cyborg wants to end them all as a zombie was the one who killed his family...He later dies by cancer but before he could turn zombie his uncle mutated him and turned him into a cyborg so he can live and he has made him a free willed cyborg with his past memory!He wills to help his uncle and this is where his world changing adventure begins!He then meets with a woman named Alexa who has long black hair,Oliver who has short white hair,Raiden the credit stealer ,Ryu the time traveler who has blue hair , Ken the cowboy with long black hair ...All of these and his other friends will help him on his quest!

Beep!! Beep!! Daniel woke up at the annoying sound which comes from his phone, he got up and glanced at the light peering through the window.

He smiled and looked at his phone 6:00 A.M. "wake up guys it's morning." Said Daniel as he sat on the chair and watched the rising sun but then he noticed something was wrong.

"Guys! Wake up!!" His loud voice slapped Patrick and Joseph who got up like a jumping toad and glared at Daniel. "What's the problem!?" Patrick said his eyes staring at Daniel's eyes.

"Look! The sun!" Daniel points his finger to the sun which should be warm but the brightness of the sun slowly dims like a black curtain that hides the world.

Joseph adjusted his glasses and stared at the sun "why is the sun not emitting light?" he thought "Check the news!" Patrick's butt in just looking at the sun awoke something in him.

Daniel uses his phone and opened the cellular data but no signal was found. Joseph saw their body which perspiring sweat and he feels the cold sweat dropping on his back that made him shivers.

Then a sound like marching was echoing downstairs so they grabbed their backpack and ran their way downstairs. When they are in the living room on the front they saw a plump black cat dash in their direction!

"Where did the cat comes from!?" Daniel asked while looking behind him where the cat dashes. But seeing no response he turns his head and his mouth was agape.

"Grawr grawr!" An unknown number of people who wore tattered clothes with stick-like arms and legs that don't seem to bent were marching through the mansion.

Fang zheng who fell asleep in one of the rooms upstairs felt a punch in his chest. He opened his eyes and saw bai ze who looked at him with eyes like a child.

He smirked and grabbed bai ze while whispering "you hungry? You only miss me when you hungry?" As he was about to lecture bai ze, a robotic voice echoes in his head.

[ System: Unknown number of zombies approaching the mansion! ]

"Zombies!?" Fang zheng dashed then glanced at the window where he saw an army of zombies marching through the mansion. "What!?" Fang zheng was flabbergasted at what he saw.

Joseph ran at the front door seemingly fighting the horde of zombies head-on! "What are you doing!?" Patrick and Daniel screamed Then glances at each other and smiled "Joseph wait for us! We're gonna wreck those weirdos!"

Then Joseph turns back with sticks in his grasp "You guys want to fight those zombies?" By now he already identified them as zombies from their appearance and turtle-like movements.

Seeing their friend coming back Patrick and Daniel both tapped him on the chest "Don't scare us like that!" "Grawr!!" The voices behind them intensified as Joseph give them sticks and headed to the mansion while closing the door shut.

"I need to cooperate with these guys," thought fang zheng as he hid in the living room observing the situation. Thud! Thud! The front door vibrates and seconds later zombies barged in.

Boom!! The head of the zombie explodes like a watermelon. Joseph's face changed this was the first time he smashes a person's head. Patrick and Daniel's legs were shaking but they grit their teeth they want to live!

Boom! Boom!! Every impact killed zombies as their number decreases but on the outside, more zombies keep coming in like a tide! Fang zheng used his ability and clawed to the necks of the zombie which was effective as the zombies were writhing on the floor while clutching their necks.

The trio didn't notice this as their humanity seemed to take a hit, every smash killed a person's lives. this whole situation made their mind hurts like it was stabbed. They coped with confusion and pain by smashing their bloodied sticks on the head of the zombies.

"What's happening!? Why did this happen??" Daniel shouted as he jumps behind to avoid the clutches of zombies. Joseph like a baseball player kept smashing the head of the zombies his clothes were turned red at the blood.

"I don't know but we're gonna survive this!" Said Joseph as he breathes roughly on his left side Patrick smashes the zombie's heads and spat on it while shouting "they never end! Are we gonna die!?"

Fang zheng kept clawing his way through them as the zombies around him formed a small mountain "don't want to see those guys die in front of me, killing these zombies is giving me points anyway. like a killing machine, he harvests their lives like a grim reaper. the zombies didn't even know there was one more enemy other than the three guys.

Patrick and Daniel's eyes slowly dim as more time passes, when they were about to give up. Boom!! A gunshot echoed to the forest halting their actions.

"There are people there! They are being attacked by weird people!" Shouted a middle-aged man with a red hat on top of his head. "Head captain do we helped them?" Hearing that he glanced at the forest specifically the haunted mansion, he sighed and shouted "let's helped them! Maybe they know what is going on!"

Zombies who blocked their way had holes on their chest but they rise and eat the villagers. The head captain was hesitant to continue when a voice dispels the darkness on his heart.

"Shoot them to the head!" The voice comes from the mansion, a zombie coincidentally was on his way Boom! The zombie's head blasted open and falls through the grass never rising again.

"Shoot their heads!" The head captain shouted. behind him, the villagers shoot everywhere some holding machetes while chopping the zombie's heads. "Finally there was someone! keep going!" Joseph shouted. Hearing that Daniel and Patrick keep smashing the zombie's head to a pulp! like they get injected with chicken's blood.

Fang zheng ran to the second floor "these guys were safe for now, I'll check my gains!" His eyes had stars on them as he headed to his room. a zombie 2 meters away from Joseph was blasted apart as it's head fly into the air. "Follow us!" Joseph looked at the man and nodded.

Shing! Shung! The scene was world war except the enemies are zombies! The man leads them out of the forest shooting every zombie who blocked their path. "Who are these weird people why they kill everyone they saw!" The man asked.

"They are zombies." Joseph takes the lead to talk to the man seeing he was the leader. "Zombies!?" Then as they made continued to run Joseph explains to him about zombies and their weakness.

"Then this is bad! We got injured resting on our villages!" The man shouted while knocking the gun at his head. Joseph turns silent behind Mario and Patrick didn't utter a word while glancing at the guns in villager's hands.

“A story about a ghost who wants to have a chat with people.”

Said by a thin man, the children around him laughed,”if there’s really a ghost i will beat him to a pulp!” Said by a 9 year old boy, his fist clenched as though he will really fight.

“Kikikiki!” The sudden sound makes the kid jump!
“Ahahah! I thought you’re brave?” Said the thin man with a playful smile on his face.

All the children laughed as they talked about ghost stories.

In a certain corner:
“I want to fight the kid stop me!”
System: “scaring a child will get your points deducted!”

Fang zheng: “ahh! Being a ghost is tough!”

The more challenging the story, the more interesting it is.

"Ahhhh—!"
The falling board made a huge noise, which had attracted the zombies into gathering. The place where Ming Shu parked was an alleyway. One end was blocked by a crumbling iron gate, and the other was clear. But at this time, several zombies were already coming from that end.
There were also zombies battering the iron gate.
From between the cracks, the zombies with their steel-gray skin stained in disgusting blood were moving constantly.
"Aren't you gonna run now?" Ming Shu held her chin in one hand and looked up at the students.
"Aren't you in more danger than us?" Differently from Ming Shu, there was at least a height between them and the zombies. The zombies had difficulty in climbing, so they were temporarily safe.
Ming Shu shrugged and closed the window with a smile.
She didn't drive away, though. All the zombies rushed at the car, flailing and roaring, but surprisingly, they soon gave up on the car and turned to roar at those students high above.
"W-what happened?"
Why were the zombies not interested in her car?
Ming Shu bent over the steering wheel, eating potato chips leisurely and looking at the people huddling in fear up there.
According to the plot, the Host should have gone to the capital city to Father Ye. And when Ming Shu woke up in this world, Ye Miao was indeed on her way out of city.
But then she went back.
The reason was simple:
Collect food.
In the early stages of Doomsday, finding food was much easier than later on. If she didn't gather enough supplies now, she might starve in the future.
Last night, she parked the car here and was intending to visit this supermarket. But it turned out some people had hidden inside, including the fake female protagonist. Therefore, she decided to wait outside to see if anything interesting was going to happen.
"No, it won't work. We have to go back. We can't get down from here." Big Chen went over to check and then returned in disappointment.
Just now they were in the supermarket opposite and couldn't see the situation on this side. Now that they were here, they could see the road leading away was collapsed in the middle. The gap was too great to jump. If they wanted to leave the supermarket, it seemed the only way was to leap down. But since the zombies had flooded the whole place, jumping down was undoubtedly a death sentence.
Those zombies also kept hitting the support below, which made the shelves more and more unstable. It looked like they might fall down at any time.
"How can we get back!" the baseball-hat girl yelled. "Ning Le, what are you doing standing there? Go get the shelves and let us cross."
Ning Le looked at the scene coldly. If anyone took a close look at her, they might find the indifference deep in her eyes.
Having been treated like that just now, even an ordinary person would have held proper reservations facing such a rude attitude, let alone Ning Le, our fake female protagonist.
"Ning Le, what are you doing, hurry up!"
"Ah!" The fierce attacks of the zombies made the shelves shake a lot, and some were scared into screaming.

He fell directly into the zombies, and in the blink of an eye, was devoured.
Seeing this, all the students were horrified and shocked. But survival instincts demanded they continue jumping. The girls were too scared to jump and they had to wait for the boys to rebuild the bridge.
However, this time was much more difficult than before. The "bridge" was shaking and the girls screaming, both of which made the zombies below even more excited. They hit and hit again, and the support was shaking more and more fiercely.
"No, no, I can't do this…!" the baseball-hat girl cried and shook her head, holding the shelf next to her tightly. "No, I'm not going to walk on it."
"They're going to break the gate!" someone opposite shouted aloud.
Everyone was stunned.
There were dozens of zombies on the ground floor of the supermarket. It was impossible for them to survive if the zombies rushed upstairs.
At this critical moment, a gunshot was suddenly heard.
It was followed by violent explosions.
Startled by the louder noises, some of the zombies left to find the source, but still many stayed behind.
"Shh. Be quiet." Big Chen gestured at the girls to keep silent.
The explosions in the distance continued, and the zombies became hesitant. After the students made no noise for a while, most of the zombies eventually joined the group heading away. Then there were only a few scattered around.
From the rearview mirror, Ming Shu saw a car gradually approaching through the moving zombies.
Well well well, it's an army.
During the early days of Doomsday, soldiers were relatively reliable, especially when Doomsday first broke out. The army sent out soldiers to search for survivors.
The several remaining zombies were quickly and cleanly handled by the army.
"Come down quickly and let's go." A man in a camouflage uniform waved at the students.
Perhaps encouraged by the unique heroic aura of the army, this group of students swiftly followed the command to come down. At last they sat in the cars safely, and some cried due to fear after the event.
Ning Le also got in a car, calm as could be.
"Are there any other survivors with you?" the man who commanded the students asked Ning Le, who was the last to get in the car. It was probably because she appeared quite calm. The other students were either crying at this time or looking too frightened or stunned.
Ning Le hesitated, then pointed in the direction of Ming Shu.
The man glanced at the car, frowned. Then he grabbed the weapon with him and walked toward Ming Shu's car.
The smell of the car was very disgusting. The man observed for a while. After he confirmed that there was a living person inside, he knocked on the window.
Ming Shu opened the car window and revealed her clear, fair face. She greeted the man smilingly. "Hi."
Faced with such an abrupt smiling face, the man was almost startled into shooting her.

The girl stared at Shen Chen in disbelief, then cried out in joy. She jumped out of the car trunk like a rabbit and wormed herself into the front passenger seat.
She glanced at the connected ignition wires and couldn't help being astonished. "Are you a secret agent or something? You know a technique like this that only appears on TV?"
Shen Chen couldn't help shaking his head. "Sit tight. Put on your seat belt."
The girl pouted her lips. "I know. This is my car."
The car started advancing on the road. The girl looked at Shen Chen, rejoicing in the fact that she was able to escape her ill fate. She had been tailing her stepmother to catch her in the act of cheating, but she never would have expected that her stepmother would be pounced to the ground by the man who had just intimately whispered to her in front of everyone. By the time Ye Xiaoyu reacted, the entire hotel had become a living hell. The corpses that fell from the sky at the door further provoked her desire to survive. The only idea she thought of was to lock herself in the car. Then she crawled into the trunk. She knew it was the only way she could survive. She initially thought she would be trapped in the trunk until she died. She hadn't expected that someone would drive the car. The vibration of the car had nearly made her cry. It meant that she could continue to live!
The girl gritted her teeth, combing out her hair to appear less disorderly, then said, "My name is Ye Xiaoyu. What about you?"
"Shen Chen."
'Shen Chen...' Ye Xiaoyu thought to herself. She saw his firm face clearly in the car mirror outside. He looked to be at most nineteen years old, around the same age as herself. He was probably a student nearby as well, but she had never heard of such a fierce person on the J University campus.
Ye Xiaoyu thought to herself that although she had been hiding in the trunk, she had clearly felt how skilled the driver was. Now that she saw all the bloodstains on his body and the steel knife in his hand, she was even more certain that this guy named Shen Chen must have killed a lot of zombies. He was a true master!
Suddenly, a few cars appeared in the middle of the road. There was clearly a multiple-vehicle collision. The crooked cars on the street made Shen Chen frown. He was about to drive around them when, suddenly, a dozen zombies appeared next to the cars, showing their ghastly faces. The moment they saw Shen Chen's car, they immediately ran over screaming, their arms swinging. They scratched at the windows with their nails, making a jarring noise.
"Ahh!" Ye Xiaoyu jumped in her seat. The zombies that had appeared out of the darkness violently pounded on the windows. They pressed their faces against the glass, eyes locked on the "food" in the car. Ye Xiaoyu's entire body shrunk toward Shen Chen, but she covered her mouth tightly so she wouldn't make a sound.
This made Shen Chen have a better impression of her. 'It seems like this kid's not stupid. The dissemination of sound in the night would have attracted more zombies.' Shen Chen smiled, then said in a low voice, "Sit tight! Don't be afraid!"
He spoke in a cool tone, but it unexpectedly made Ye Xiaoyu feel at ease. She quickly held tightly onto the handle and said in a somewhat tearful voice, "What are we going to do?"
"What are we going to do? It'll depend on how good your car is!"
Shen Chen narrowed his eyes, accelerating the car. The four wheels turned wildly simultaneously. Clouds of smoke rose from the ground. The entire car shot out like an arrow from a bow, sending several zombies flying in its path. Shen Chen kept a straight face in the sturdy German car, charging through the crowd of zombies.
Suddenly, a small car parked horizontally in the middle of the road appeared in their sight. Ye Xiaoyu immediately panicked. "Oh, no! There's a…"
Thump.
After savagely shoving the car out of their way, they crashed into two more zombies that jumped on the car. The zombies went flying with a boom.
Shen Chen turned around. "What did you just say?"
"It's fine... my car... Oh, no! Zombies!" Ye Xiaoyu turned pale and shouted while pointing at the window.
A zombie had rolled over the engine hood and was now lying on the windshield. It grabbed the windshield wipers in one hand and pounded on the glass with another. Its mouth was wide open, and its hideous pale white face blocked the view ahead.
"Roar..." The living humans before it made the zombie let out a growl of excitement. Even though its lower body was paralyzed by the car, it still pounded on the glass. Shen Chen furrowed his brows and pulled out Black Blade.
"What are you going to do?" Ye Xiaoyu asked anxiously.
"Finish off this zombie. Otherwise, with its strength, the windshield will be shattered soon."
Ye Xiaoyu's face was white as a sheet of paper. She said frantically, "You're crazy! How is that possible?! How about we stop the car and…" She couldn't even finish her sentence. In the rearview mirror, she could see a dozen zombies were still chasing them persistently. Once they stopped the car, the consequences would be unimaginable.
"Hold onto the steering wheel!"
"Huh? Oh!"
Ye Xiaoyu hastily leaned over, grabbing onto the steering wheel tightly with shaking hands. Shen Chen opened the car door, hooked himself onto the seat with one foot, and stuck half his body out of the car.
The winter wind howled past. The violent chill quickly rushed into the car. Ye Xiaoyu couldn't help shivering. She looked out the car window. Shen Chen's entire body was leaning outside the car. The aroma of human flesh made the zombie immediately decide to abandon the windshield and turn toward Shen Chen. It opened its large rotten mouth, straightened its torso, and violently jumped toward Shen Chen, but Shen Chen swung his left hand heavily and chopped toward the zombie's head with Black Blade with full composure.
Shunk! A pungent gush of blood shot several yards into the air. The zombie fell off the car. Its arm didn't even touch Shen Chen's clothes before it was caught under the car wheels and ground into bits.
Shen Chen returned to the car. A soft body hugged him tightly, accompanied by a scent unique to girls. "Shen Chen! Shen Chen! You were amazing!"
Her overjoyed exclamations made Shen Chen feel somewhat awkward. Because she was hugging him too tightly, the car started snaking on the road.
"All right, all right…" Shen Chen lightly patted Ye Xiaoyu's back. The girl's thin back made him ponder, but he quickly adjusted himself. "Get back in your seat. I'm still driving!"
After a short while, Ye Xiaoyu finally withdrew her arms slowly and sat back in her seat. She had an expression of disbelief and surprise on her face after such a dangerous situation. "Goodness, you're even more amazing than I thought!"
Shen Chen also glanced at her with surprise. "Yeah, you're also braver than I imagined."
Ye Xiaoyu instantly smiled. Indeed, during the whole trip, Ye Xiaoyu hadn't seemed delicate like ordinary girls. She had also showed her strength early on, which impressed Shen Chen. Of course, a girl who could escape from the hotel back into her car and hide in a trunk was definitely not some weak woman.
Luckily, there were no more zombies gathered ahead. They drove to a gas station, and the car slowed down to a halt. The bright car lights instantly attracted the attention of a few wandering gas station employee zombies. Watching the zombies approach, Ye Xiaoyu asked with confusion, "There's still gas in the tank. Why are we stopping here?"

Shen Chen pointed to the zombies outside the window. "That's why we have to rely on them!"
"Rely on them?" Ye Xiaoyu was a little confused, but after seeing Shen Chen open the door and kill one zombie after another, she gritted her teeth and followed him. Staring at Shen Chen, who was crouching on the floor and examining something, she seemed to realize Shen Chen's intentions.
"It's going to be a little bloody. You can turn around," Shen Chen said, then he raised Black Blade up high and slammed it down on the zombie's corpse. Instantly, blood spewed everywhere, covering the ground. Soon after, the zombie was chopped up into ground meat. Only then did Shen Chen stand up and cautiously rub the decayed zombie blood and minced meat onto his body.
His experience from the previous life told him that in the preliminary stages of the apocalypse, zombies could only distinguish their prey based on scent and sound. Therefore, as long as he reeked of the smell of zombies, he wouldn't be in any danger, even if he walked among a crowd of zombies. This was also the method he had thought of earlier to rescue Boss.
"Shen Chen, I want some too!"
Ye Xiaoyu's words made Shen Chen raise his head. He frowned slightly. "You? You won't need it. This gas station is very safe. In a bit, I'll kill all the zombies in the supermarket. You stay here... and wait for me to come pick you up."
His last sentence made Ye Xiaoyu smile, but she squatted down stubbornly and scooped blood and flesh out of the zombie's tattered body with her hands, rubbing it onto her down jacket.
Shen Chen stood up. He watched Ye Xiaoyu continuously scoop out all sorts of organs from the zombie's body with a straight face, then throw them behind her. He couldn't help being surprised. "Ye Xiaoyu, aren't you afraid?"
"I'm a medical student. I've dissected corpses before... this…" Ye Xiaoyu paused, then smiled in embarrassment.
Only then did Shen Chen feel relieved. In the preliminary period of the apocalypse, a girl who had just gone through a huge shock was not only not panicking, but also had a will that was comparable to that of a man's. He was impressed, but also suspicious. But she was a person who was used to seeing life and death and corpses, so it wasn't so hard to accept.
Shen Chen knew very well how valuable people who had learned medicine were in the later stages. If Shen Chen only felt pity for Ye Xiaoyu at first, he now was seriously considering taking her into the team.
Shen Chen leaned against the car as he watched Ye Xiaoyu calmly spread the zombie blood all over herself, then asked her, "If I gave you a weapon, would you dare to kill zombies?"
"I would!" A spark lit up in Ye Xiaoyu's eyes. She knew that her performance had finally been recognized. If she stayed by Shen Chen's side, she believed she could definitely live on!
"All right." A smile appeared on Shen Chen's face. "Then stay with me."
