Knight and and his cousin Any are the most feared student in Black Rose Academy. They are known as the devils of the school because of there cold and dangerous aura that scared the hell out of the students except for their family or their friends. They are also the leader of their own gangs, The Cypher and Timber Wolves.

Kyle Hernandez with his sister Kyla Hernandez are agents of there own company. They were sent to a mission to kill the father of Knight or the mafia king with there group, but what would they do if they started to fall for the gang members even if it is forbidden by Mr. Hernandez?

My name is Rohan Sharma, and I'm traveling across the world with my father, because of his work. I'm originally from India but last time I was in China and before that. in Thailand, and it's kinda fun traveling the world, BUT because of this, sometimes I wonder.... 
WHERE DO I BELONG? Like I don't have a place to call home because I'm changing places all the time, my father parents are long dead now, I don't even has grandparents. Am I just going straight forward without even knowing WHERE DO I BELONG?... Or I'm just thinking too much? well...I personally don't know myself...

Jay wonders if she will be able to keep Lisa her crush. Or is she going to have to go and be the last wolf a live. Or ... does Jay find a cure for the wolves so three will be more wolves.

Midnight and her friends were walking through the Everfree Forest as the dark moon shone down. They were told that the legendary draconequus himself lived in the deepest, darkest cave with the Everfree Forest. Very little ponies knew whether or not he was still alive, but Midnight knew the only way they'd find out is if they looked for themselves.

"It would be much more helpful if we knew exactly where we were going." Cookie said with a hint of sarcasm. 

"Got any better ideas?" Midnight asked.

"Yeah. How about we barge into the castle and whoop their flanks ourselves?"

"We're trying to save Equestria, not commit suicide."

"Well it's much better than this stupid idea. We don't even know if this thing exists."

"Uh, girls?" Lucky said, trying to butt in.

"Complaining isn't gonna help us find this cave." 

"Neither is walking around in circles!"

"Girls?"

"Well at least I'm trying to do something about this! You've been doing a lot of barking and not enough biting!" 

"Maybe I'd do more biting if we fought those tyrants straight on!" 

"GIRLS!"

They turned to look at Lucky, the friend who interrupted their argument. 

"Two things. One, where is Spike? And two, what are those?" Lucky said in worry, pointing to a direction behind them. 

They turned and heard low growling, gasping at pairs of glowing eyes. They backed away as the creatures in the dark slowly walked closer.

"Timber wolves." Midnight said. "Run!"

The three maresturned and, without hesitation, ran frantically through the forest. The timber wolves snarled and chased after them, predator and prey having a showdown. The girls ran for dear life, not caring where they were running as long as it was away from the wolves who were chasing their tails.

Suddenly, a branch smacked Cookie hard in the face, knocking her down. Midnight and Lucky skidded to a stop and rushed back, helping her up quickly.

"Hurry!" Lucky said.

They continued running, the timber wolves now much closer now due to Cookie's slip. They panted, hoping their stamina was higher than the wolves.

"We need to find somewhere to hide!" Midnight said.

"There is nowhere to hide! We have to outrun them!" Cookie said. 

"Right now is not the time to argue with me, Cookie!"

They jumped over obstacles such as large rocks, branches and logs on the ground and kept dashing through the forest.

"I don't know if we can keep this up much longer!" Lucky said.

The three mares skidded to a stop when they found themselves in front of a large boulder their path. 

"Dead end!" Lucky said. 

They turned around and gasped, seeing a dozen timber wolves slowly closing in on them, growling. They backed into the large boulder that so happened to be in their way of escaping, each trying desperately to think of a plan. Cookie threw a few rocks at them which managed to hit one of the timber wolves, making it yelp, but instead of scaring them away like she hoped, this only made them angrier. 

They gulped, eyes widening and hearts pounding. 

"I-I'm not ready to die, Midnight…" Lucky said, her eyes teared up.

"Don't worry, Lucky. It'll be okay." She said, hoping to reassure her friend but knew everything was not okay right now. 

The three huddled up together, slowly beginning to accept their fate as the wolves were now inches away from them, growling and snarling, revealing their deadly and dangerous canine teeth. But out of nowhere, one of the wolves was lifted up and tossed aside by a strange invisible force. The wolves stopped and turned.

Standing there was the master of chaos himself, smirking mischievously. 

"My my my, what a show!" Discord said. "Unfortunately, we're going to have to end this show a little early." 

The timber wolves looked at each other with a hint of confusion then growled at Discord and slowly walked towards him. He playfully gasped.

"Oh no, I'm shaking!"

He snapped his fingers. The timber wolves all turned into small baby timber wolves, growling and yapping at Discord with a high-pitched tone. 

"Awe, how cute ~" He said, throwing one a mini bone.

The three mares stood there and watched in shock, speechless. After having a little fun with the now miniature timber wolves, Discord looked up at the girls.

"Why hello there! I didn't even notice you three." He said sarcastically. 

They didn't respond, but instead kept staring at his physical features. Lucky then leaned over and whispered to Midnight and Cookie.

"Is that…?" 

"Discord…" Midnight finished.

Discord laughed.

"Oh, how rude of me. Allow me to introduce myself. As you all may know, I am Discord, the master of chaos!"

He teleported behind them, making them gasp.

"And you must be…"

He pointed at Lucky.

"Lucky Foot-"

He pointed at Cookie.

"Creamy Cookie-"

He lastly pointed at Midnight, smirking. 

"And lastly, precious little Midnight ~"

Their eyes widened.

"H-How did you know our name?" Lucky asked. 

"Oh, just a lucky guess ~"

He examined them. 

"And I heard you were looking for me."

Midnight snapped back to reality.

"Oh, yes! Yes, actually we are! You see, we need your help with...what are you doing?"

Midnight raided a brow, watching him eat a large bowl of Everfree tree leaves with a fork. He stopped and looked at them.

"Oh sorry, how rude of me."

He tossed the bowl aside. 

"Please continue."

Midnight stared for a second.

"Right...so uh, anyway, you see we have a plan to take down the Elements of Insanity, but we - Hey!"

Midnight blushed darkly when Discord lifted her up and examined her.

"Hmmm, you look familiar." Discord said.

"Uh, mind putting me down?" Midnight said, now becoming agitated.

"Oh, whoops ~"

Discord dropped her.

"Oof-!"

She landed on her stomach and groaned. Her friends helped her up. They glanced at Discord, Midnight's glare the deepest.

"Sorry Midnight, it's just hard for me to take you seriously, or anyone seriously for that matter." Discord said in a playful manner.

"Clearly." Cookie said.

"Awe, come on. Why the frowny faces? Besides, what's the fun in making sense?"

Discord teased them while flying over them.

"What's the matter, hmmm ~"

Her magically grew four more hands and lifted their cheeks playfully, forcing a smile on their faces.

"Loosen up!"

He laughed then released them. They growled.

"We're not messing around here!" Cookie said.

"But I am ~" Discord said.

"Well then stop messing around!" Lucky said.

"I can't help it. I guess I'm just…"

He magically made all his body parts scatter across the floor. 

"Messy!" 

He laughed and transformed back into his normal form, clutching his stomach and kicking with laughter at his own silliness. But the three mares were not laughing. Finally, after tolerating Discord's ridiculousness long enough, Midnight stomped her hoof.

"ENOUGH!" 

Discord went silent and looked at the angry gray mare in front of him.

"I've had it with you! If I knew I was looking for some child I would've asked a filly to help us with this quest! We are trying to win our land over and return peace back Celestia damn it and all you care about are some stupid jokes and silly pranks!" Midnight said angrily.

Discord put his hands up in defense. 

"Geez, calm down misses hostile." Discord said.

"No! You either help us or don't! Now what's it gonna be?"

Discord thought, staring off into space and stroking his chin before turning his attention back to the girls.

"What's in it for me?" Discord asked.

"Uh, freedom from the biggest, cruelest tyrants in all of Equestria?" Cookie said.

Discord scoffed. 

"Oh please, they don't scare me. Although they definitely are cruel...Nonetheless, I can live with being in the Everfree Forest the rest of my life. You'll have to think of something else." 

Midnight sighed.

"Alright, um...how about your own land where you can wreak chaos whenever you want, as long as it's in your territory?" Midnight said. 

"Hmmm, tempting, tempting. What else do you got?"

"How about friends?"  

They all went silent. Discord looked over at the white coated mare and got close to her face. 

"Excuse me?" He asked.

"Well, it's just...it must be lonely being here all by yourself. And with the Elements of Insanity around, practically everyone is lonely…" Lucky said. "If we get rid of them...we could actually have ponies and other creatures to communicate and bond with. Somepony to comfort and comfort us. Somepony to talk to and spend time with. Somepony to love and be loved by. Doesn't that sound nice?"

"..."

Discord was silent. The draconequus was never really the best at friendship, and was actually known for destroying friendships. But he had to admit, it did get lonely after the Elements of Insanity took over. He missed toying with Princess Celestia and Luna, and he missed the good old days when he could get away with mischievous acts. Nowadays, mischievous and pranks were the very least of everypony's problems, and with the dark horrible deeds going around in Equestria, nopony was in any mood for pranks. 

Discord finally made a decision and looked over at the three friends. 

"Meet me in my cave. We need a plan."

I was short of words. The Timber wolf king, I was certain I had eaten just six days ago, was standing in front of me.  
 
"Y-you? Didn't Minerva kill you like six days ago?"
 
All the wolves growled when I asked that question. The wolf claim to be the king looked at me quizzically, then the wolf I had a fight with roared in anger.
 
"Don't talk about our father like that! Do you wish to die!? Then again, you wouldn't have come here unless that was what you wanted. Come! Let me rip out your heart and lay bare your internal organs. I shan't even feast on your corpse as it is too-!"
 
"Enough!"
 
The 'Timber Wolf King' cut him off as he threatened me. I felt like crying at the thought of my heart being ripped out. I shuddered at the thought of what would happen to me if he killed me.
 
"And you."
 
The white wolf focused its powerful gaze on me.
 
"No. Your ally killed my father, the previous Wolf King. The night he died, I was made into the Wolf King."
 
So this wasn't that Timber Wolf King. A new one? So the Timber wolves just replaced their Kings as soon as they died?
 
"What the hell!? Aren't kings like crazy powerful creatures that could rival Tyrants? How do you easily replace one?"
 
"Silence!"
 
She ordered, and I went slack. I may have gone too far.
 
"I am under no obligation to inform you. In fact, I do not wish to prey on you. It might bring about the extinction of my clan at the hands of that monster."
 
Uh-oh.
 
If we didn't get her help, we were as good as dead meat on the day of the invasion. I tried to think of various things I could say to convince the wolf.
 
Maybe an offering of sorts would appease her? A sacrifice?
 
 I looked at my escort with eyes asking for help, then she stepped forward.
 
"Oh mighty king of wolves, may we call for a Dog Fight?"
 
I don't know why, but when she said that all the wolves stopped growling. They looked at her for a while, then the scarred wolf lashed out at us.
 
"How much do you want to insult us tonight!? I can see you really wish to die at our hands-"
 
"Brother!"
 
"Sister, I can't take any more of this! They are underestimating us too much just because of that witch!"
 
The white wolf tried to calm him down, however he didn't listen to her. He turned to me and bared his fangs.
 
"You wished for a Dog Fight? I shall give it to you."
 
"Are you sure?"
 
The white wolf asked him. He responded with a nod.
 
However, standing still, completely confused, was little old me, trying to understand everything.
 
Dog fight? What's that supposed to mean?
 
The dryad must have read my mind, because she immediately answered me.
 
"A Dog fight is a tradition among the timber wolves, in which two timber wolves fight to show their superiority over the other. It is usually held once every month, but can also be done by individual wolves who want to prove their superiority."
 
"Ok ok, I get that, but I'm not a timber wolf."
 
"There have been incidents where races who wish to speak with the clan head need to participate in dog fights. They always had to fight with a warrior of the heads' choosing or the heads themselves, in order to be acknowledged by them."
 
"You want me to fight against them!?"
 
I looked at the wolf who was glaring at me. I could feel his killing intent like thunder.
 
"You don't actually expect me to fight them, do you?"
 
"I believe that if it is sir Hinotori everything should be alright."
 
"Oh… er, thanks-"
 
"Sir Hinotori is ready for the fight, will he be your representative?"
 
She asked the white wolf while pointing to the scarred wolf.
 
"Oi!"
 
"Very well! Since my younger brother is eager for this, I shall allow it!"
 
They completely ignored my wishes. I looked at the dryad who did the same with me. She had a serene smile and thumbs up.
 
Uwa, this girl and Diane are too scary!

The wolves had cleared out, and only I and my opponent remained. They said, the howl was the cue for the fight to begin, so for the moment, we were just sizing each other. I didn't have [Analyst] anymore, so I couldn't really tell what his stats were, however, I remembered his stats from the last time. In the case he hadn't gotten any stronger in the past 4 days, I was just a little bit weaker than him now.
 
I had been scrolling through my skills, searching for something that could cause some serious harm to him. From our fight the last time, most of my skills were ineffective, so he had the upper hand. However, now that I am closer to his stats is it going to be the same story?
 
Walking around in a circle was getting boring so I decided to initiate a conversation with him.
 
"Hey listen. I'm sorry about your eye and all, but the East is about to-"
 
"Don't waste your time! If you want me to listen to you, defeat me!"
 
I was hoping that I might have been able to convince him without actually having to fight. It seems I was too naïve.
 
It didn't take long for the howl signaling the start of the fight to go off. Without wasting a second, the wolf pounced on me, but I jumped back, barely avoiding the hit. It didn't stop there, bouncing of the ground towards me as if it had already anticipated me dodging it.
 
I used [Shadow travel] to appear behind it, however, he had already been waiting for me to do that. He slapped me away with his tail and I hit a tree, then messages appeared.
 
[Alert! You just lost 100 HP]
[You have 2,515 remaining]
 
The only time this ever happened was the last time I fought him. Luckily, I had [Pain Nullification] so I wasn't affected by the impact.
 
[Alert! Enemy is approaching!]
 
When I looked forward, I could see it running towards me with a murderous gaze. I managed to flap my wings and get to a higher level before the wolf could catch me again. Then the wolf did something that shocked me.
 
He bounced of the trees to get to a higher point.
 
"What the heck!?"
 
I accidentally screamed.
 
I thought I could use the fact that I could fly against him, however here he was, jumping from tree to tree like it was nothing.
 
"Get back down here!"
 
He swiped at me but couldn't catch me when I flew a bit higher. I used [Hell fire], and black flames shot out of my beak like a flamethrower. However, much like the first fight, the flames had little effect on him. It was due to the timber wolves' metal-like fur. I already knew this, but I was hoping that it would work this time because I had gotten stronger.
 
Thinking the results would be the same, I decided not to waste stamina on [Holy Flame]. Most of my skills weren't really battle-proned. If I was going to win this, I would need to play it smart. But how was I supposed to win against a monster that even hellfire caused no damage to?
 
When I looked down, the wolf was circling the ground, while barking at me.
 
Did it really have to end up this way? Could we not have just sat down and talked this through? Anyway, this isn't going to get resolved unless I do something.
 
I let out a sigh, then dived. I used [Sprint] to increase my speed and also used [Size Manipulation] to get smaller, increasing my speed stat while also minimizing the amount of stamina [Sprint] used up. If I couldn't cause huge sums of damage to him with open attacks, I would just need to attack him repeatedly till it took effect. I activated my [Centipede armor], raising my defense, then I used [Spearhead]. I was certain he would still be fast enough to dodge my attacks, but grazing him several times was sure to do something, right?
 
It seemed I had made the right choice increasing my speed, because the wolf couldn't react in time, and I hit it right on the back. Unfortunately, I wasn't strong enough to go right through him. I just ended up smashing him into the ground. With a big thud, I had created a 5 meter round crater accidentally and a dust cloud swarmed us. I flew back up and watched the ground for some time. Nothing happened. When I used [Mana sense], his aura had weakened and he was just lying on the ground, not moving one bit.
 
"Um, hello? Guy? Scar face? Is this a sort of ploy?"
 
I tried calling out to him, but I still got no response.
 
[You have defeated your opponent]
[You have acquired 100XP]
 
Huh?
 
 
..............
 
 
So it turned out, the wolf was actually injured by [Hellfire], but he was putting up an act. That was why he wasn't able to dodge my final attack. It seems I also ended up breaking a few of his bones as well, considering he couldn't stand back up and had to be dragged by his companions. In the end I didn't even need to use [Demonic Transformation].
 
"Very well then, I shall listen to what you have to say."
 
The wolk king said.
 
"Have you heard about the invasion from the East?"
 
I went straight to the point. I didn't want an incident in which I would need to fight because I didn't say what I needed to.
 
"Invasion? From the East?"
 
"Oh? So you haven't heard? War Monger Krull has announced that he will be invading the West by the next full moon."
 
She looked at my dryad escort for confirmation.
 
"It is as Sir Hinotori says. War monger Krull has decided to invade the West."
 
She proceeded to inform the wolf king about the message and the meeting between the leaders and how we had decided to ask the kings for help.
 
"Hmmm. Indeed. This is bad. So that means you want my help in the creation of a self-defense force?"
 
"That is exactly what we are saying."
 
My companion responded
 
"So will you help us?"
 
I asked. She looked at her fellow wolves, then at her fallen brother, then back at me. She sat up, then said,
 
"We the wolves refuse to participate in this matter."
 
"B-but, didn't you promise to help us if I won!?"
 
"Please do not misinterpret my words. I told you I would listen to you on the matter. I don't recall ever saying that I would help you."
 
"Don't you also live in the West? You won't be spared from the Tyrant's wrath, you know."
 
"The wolves shall cater for our own. You can leave now."
 
AH! What the hell is with these guys? First Minerva now the Timber Wolf King? Don't they realise the gravity of this situation?
 
I looked at the dryad who had been quiet the entire time. She simply shook her head with a sad smile.
 
The wolf king howled and all the timber wolves slowly left the area, leaving me alone with the dryad.

That was for a short while though, as he was abandoned and woke up to find out he now she is trapped in a deadly magical forest with all sorts creatures trying to kill her.

The world she finds herself is one of magic and monsters like the manga she's been reading. Akira, now Hinotori is trying to live her life as a chicken in another world!

Haha! And we are back... surprise, i guess.

In a hole in a mountainside, there reside two dwarves. Not a cold, wet hole filled with the waste of bats and the stench of rotting carcasses: it was a dwarven hole, and that means it is a military outpost. The hole connects to a balcony overseeing the Raiden Forest.

The two dwarves sat on the balcony, looking out at the sun setting down the horizon. Their outpost lay on the border between the Raiden Forest and the Bolsca Kingdom, a mountain kingdom inhabited by mostly dwarves. The king assigned garrisons in the border of the Radien Forest to watch over the goblins and stop any looters or large armies from entering the forest. 

The Dwarves garrisoned in the outposts are known as rangers. Each outpost has seven to eleven dwarves, five to eight of these rangers would patrol the forest while the rest stay at the outpost. The two rangers sitting on the balcony were waiting for the patrolling party to come back. One of the dwarves has a long and curly black beard. He has a scar on the left eye, a short stubby nose, and wrinkles around his eyes; he wears a white wig to hide his bald head. The other dwarf had a younger complexion. He had a goatee, bushy eyebrows, and a bowl cut.

"Aleksy, can I ask you a question?" The young dwarf asked.

"What is it, Damari?" The old one answered.

"Why are we doing this?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, as rangers, we have to protect the forest and the goblins that live in the forest. It doesn't really make sense to me. So what if a bunch of adventurers enters the forest to loot and kill goblins. Why should we care? Goblins are a nuisance to our kingdom. Why protect them?"

Aleksy pondered for a few seconds before giving his answer, "I don't really know why, but I do know its because of a promise."

"You mean that promise."

"Yeah, the promise our king made to the people of the forest. You know those abandoned towns and cities?"

"Yeah, I know about those."

"The people that lived there once made a contract with the king. The king promised to protect the forest and the goblins from outside countries."

"But why, though? It doesn't make any sense. Sure no one knows who the people that lived in those towns and cities were. In fact, we have no records about the country that lived in the forest besides that contract the king made with them. But we do know that those goblins must be the cause for the countries downfall. Wouldn't it make more sense if we promised to avenge them rather than protecting the very enemy that destroyed them."

"You make a good point, new blood!" An old dwarf said down the plight of stairs. It was the patrolling party returning after a day of scouting. They climbed up the stairs connected to the balcony. They looked tired and hungry from their expedition. 

"It seemed like you guys had a long day, Farzin," Aleksy said.

"A long day indeed," Farzin responded. He had a short brown beard and curly brown hair. He sat down next to Aleksy and Damari on the balcony while the rest of the party entered the hole. "You would not believe what we saw today."

Damari leaned in closer, "What did you see?"

"We saw a troll statue."

"What?" Damari exclaimed.

"What is a troll doing outside during the day?" Aleksy asked.

"I may have some idea." A female dwarf walked to the three after putting away her heavy coat. "You see, we saw the troll looking down a cliff. We climbed down to investigate, and we saw this." She pulled out a lump of fur.

"What's that, Peigi? Damari asked.

"Its fur from Timber Wolves," Peigi answered, "Timber Wolves can be found all over the north, and they come in packs of seven. But some wolves were tamed by trolls and other semi-intelligent animals. We also found a broken spear and a pool of blood. It's very likely that goblins killed a Timber Wolf or two that belonged to a troll family. And a member of that troll family didn't retreat to their cave until she found their wolves."

"Never knew goblins could kill a Timber Wolf." 

"Hahaha," Aleksy laughed, "You'd be surprised new blood! During my twenty years as a ranger, I've witnessed goblins take on much bigger prey just by using their wits. Never underestimate the weak."

"We also know at least three goblins that could kill a Timber Wolf on a one on one confrontation," Farzin said while walking towards a cabinet. He pulled out a bottle of vodka and took a sip. "There is Tama, who is so strong he can overpower a wolf with sheer strength. Then there is Sum, a clever goblin and equally strong as Tama. Finally, the chief of the Lev tribe, a hobgoblin called Cala, has the power to use the mana in his body to strengthen himself. He could kill a wolf with one swing of his sword."

"And which one killed the troll's wolf," Damari asked.

"Not Cala, I could tell you that," Farzin said with confidence, "He is strong but paranoid. Cala is too busy worrying about losing his power to go out and hunt a Timber Wolf." 

"And Sum is guarding the tribe's southern border," Peigi added.

"Which only leaves Tama as the culprit behind the wolves' death. It makes sense, though. We have reports from the outpost north of us that they saw Tama and his men killing a young troll. Those wolves were probably sent to kill Tama." Farzin took out four small cups from the cabinet and walked to the other dwarves. He gave each of them a cup and poured vodka in them. The four cheered then gulped down the vodka. 

"Now, that's good stuff!" Farzin and Aleksy yelled. Both of them looked at each other with astonishment then laughed. "We are too much alike!" Yelled Aleksy.

After a few more drinks, the sun disappeared from the sky and replaced by the sparkling stars and gentle light of the moon. The night was silent, but Damari's mind did not quiet down. His question was still unanswered. He turned to Peigi, hoping for an answer he could be happy with. "Peigi, do you know any other reason besides the promise as to why we are protecting the forest and the goblins?"

Peigi looked up to the sky, thinking about a possible answer to give Damari. While searching for an answer, she recalled a memory when she was a child. A story her mother told her. "You should know about the legend of the Slave Queen Titania. How she united the races of the world to defeat the Sky People, an invading empire coming from the sky?"

"Yeah, I know about her. Everyone knows." Damari said.

"Well, there are thirteen goblin tribes in the forest. The tribe we watch over has about two hundred goblins. Let's say that's the average for all the other tribes except for three. Three tribes live inside large, ruined cities, so their population is much larger. Let's say about four thousand each. Altogether, the goblin population numbers in fourteen thousand. Now, I know you're new, but you should already know that everyone in their tribe, excluding children, are soldiers ready for war. With such a large number of goblins, do you think our kingdom can win against them."

Damari began to sweat, "No, that sounds like an unstoppable horde."

"Exactly, but individually, they are weak. Our army of two thousand men strong could wipe out two tribes easily. But if we do that, what do you think would happen."

"The other goblin tribes would unite against us!" Damari yelled as if he had a eureka moment.

They have a feast dinner, all of them was happy eating the grilled meat, until they fall asleep.

Jiro took a sleep besides with Yuga he felt more comfortable in Yuga's fur. as the sunrise touches to their body makes them to woke up stretching their limbs and continue to travel again.

In their way it was lucky they didn't face other monsters, in 6 day of travel Jiro already reached the Timber city, thanks for the speed of dire wolfs they arrived early.

He was standing with a solid surface, where the soldier securing the area observing if there's non-human creature tries to invade the growing city.

"Wow! What is this? I can't believe what my eyes seeing right now!"

Nightpool felt shivers running along her spine at Fire's ominous words. She blinked and noticed that her vision was blurring madly. She blinked again and to her relief, her vision cleared. Looking around she saw that Fire was gone and she was left alone in a void with a silver wolf staring at her. But what scared her the most, was that the wolf's eyes were white. No iris or pupil showed. He stared at Nightpool unblinking. Nightpool let out a yelp of terror and took a step back. Only to stop as her foot ran into something warm, something furry and sticky. Nightpool turned around and let out another scream of horror as she saw the body of the limp lifeless wolf. Blood still spilled out of a long gash in his neck and his eyes were rolled back looking lifeless at the sky. His nose was sliced into half, his ear was torn and his body was awkwardly twisted into one side as if a giant twisted and squeezed the life out of the wolf. That wolf she was staring at was Timber.

Nighpool noticed other wolves appearing beside Timber having the same manglied position and the same violent lacerations. She noticed familiar faces, Palebird, Tigerlily, Puma, Dark, Leaf, Bramble, Claw, and a face she never met before. She could barely make out the color of fur through the layer of blood,  but Nightpool saw the blueish color of gray and blue sightless eyes and the teeth bared in a last snarl of fury. Nightpool buried her nose into her paws wishing that this dream will end. A voice seemed to echo in her mind. The same voice at her pupil ceremony, the same voice at her hammock the voice of Fire. This is not a dream. This is the future. And you must prevent it from happening… 

Nightpool woke up in her hammock gasping. " You okay sis?" a voice sounded underneath her. She looked down and saw Tigerlily staring up at her with wide concerned eyes. " Yes, I'm okay, just a bad dream." Nightpool said curling up to sleep again but Tigerlily woke her up again. "Timber is waiting down the tree. You better not keep the Delta waiting." Tigerlily said and disappeared through the hole in the bark. Nightpool yawned and went down the tree and greeted Timber. " We better get started. Today is a extremely busy day. Follow me." Timber quickly headed toward the camp gates. Nightpool stopped at the water pool and drank water and followed Timber outside. As soon as the gates flung open and Nightpool stepped out, she couldn't suppress a yelp of excitement. The shimmering of orange and red were gone, replaced by shadows of the leaves and rays of sunlight escaping through the canopy of branches and leaves. The grass grows freely stretching out many many wolf lengths without stop. It was damp and cool and the soft breeze ruffed her fur while Nighpool breathed in the air of prey and felt the warmth of the sun along with the chill of the shade. Timber looked at Nightpool patiently waiting for her to get all this in. " Aren't ancient spirits amazing?" He said. Nightpool felt suddenly confused. " What's that?" She asked. Timber gazed at Nightpool with amusement. " You see we wolves follow the ancient spirits. The spirit of Fire, Air, Earth, and Water. They created this world and gave life and peace to animals." Timber said. Nightpool gazed in awe at the forest. This must be the Fire Spirit's creation.
Timber stopped at a river on the other side and a fishy smell drifted to her nose. Nightpool wrinkled it. " What is that smell!" She said gaging. Timber looked at Nightpool with amusement. " The Moonwater Pack. They eat so much fish that they will turn into fish! This is the border of the river. And don't be surprised if they attack you if you swim across."Timber said. Nightpool looked at the churning and tossing river. It was too high current to swim across anyway. They soon arrived in a field with the grass peeled off. Many green plants with strong smells sprouted off of the soil. Before Nightpool could ask what it was, Timber answered it for her. " This is the Healer's Garden. It is where healers come and care for their herbs and harvest them. Smart huh?" He said. Nightpool nodded. Her pack was really organized! As They now arrived at another border Nightpool guessed it was the Earthstone Pack. She had heard of it from her mother's stories. The trees thinned out and became grassland. " This is the Earthstone Pack at the border. Want to scent mark it? Nightpool nodded. She scratched the nearest tree and sprayed some urine on it. Then followed Timber to a clearing. The sun was shining here, no shade but perfect warmth. Some rocks were on the other side of the clearing shining with sunlight. " Is this the Sunning Place?" Nightpool guessed. Timber shook his head and turned to the shining rocks. "THAT is but this clearing is called the Training Clearing. It is where you will be training from today on." He said. " Am I going to train now?" Nightpool said. Timber lightened up. " Actually YES!"

" You see other wolves don't climb trees, they hold onto the fear that they will fall.  But we let go of that fear. Climbing trees is our specialty. That's also how we surprise intruders like cats who think we can't climb trees. They go up the  tree thinking they are safe only to figure out that we follow them up the tree." Timber said. " We climb the trees and jump down from below. That's how you will hunt. Today I will teach you the basic hunting tactic." Timber went near a rowan tree and gripped the bark with his front claws. His front legs were halfway wrapped around the tree, giving more balance as Timber pushed up and gripped the bark with his back legs. Then he lowered himself, crouching on the bark, his tail erect, his started upward. Then he jumped on the lowest branch and looked down at Nightpool. " That's how you do it." Timber said.
Nightpool nodded determinedly and started up the tree. Taking a deep breath she gripped the bark with her claws and pushed her way up the tree. Then, she looked down at Timber who was nodding in approval. A soft smell of rabbit drifted toward her nose. Nightpool turned toward the smell and found herself looking at a fat hare who was nibbling on some weeds. Unaware of the wolves. Crouching low, she flattened her ears and jumped lunging at the helpless hare who was crushed underneath Nightpool's weight. "Nightpool! Nightpool!" Timber ran up to Nightpool worry in his gaze. As he saw the rabbit Nightpool was holding, his eyes grew wide. "Did you do that?" He said. Nightpool nodded, full of pride.

Nightpool, a small pup learning about the pack tradition and life, but as fate falls upon her, a ominous prophecy ringing her dreams. "Darkness will come, so will the light, giving the black mist something to fight. Shadows will rise death will arrive, blood will spill he'll do nothing but kill"
