I have been thinking why there haven't been any new fanfiction with some interesting twist or crossover . There have been no new kind of fanfiction  which are versatile or totally new it, all about repeating the same idea by twisting and turning them it gave me feeling like everyone in this site are just idiot with no innovation very few of them I saw who have there own unique idea but that to they can't properly plot there story . I know people would say what so great about you that you are critisizing everyone , i know I am not great writer because I lack confidence to submit story with incomplete plot or proper background which many in this site do which I  hate the most as well as applaud there confidence to write fiction without much background and plot but these kind of fiction are not stable and stop updating soon as writer may face lack of anymore new idea. what they do is bring an si (self insert) and  let him fix every death in anime like prevent Asuma death in Naruto or Ace death in one piece but that just a fanfiction which goes with flow that not a real fanfiction what real fanfiction is when si is not fucking born overpower with those shitty system which make them God , these kind of fiction are fucking useless i have read various fanfiction with system but most of them are shitty except few . I have read few translated novel with system but there they are described in such a way that mc isn't op but still become powerful faster but here we have system which fucking child almost God I mean how the fuck these kind of people call them writer they are just stain in the name of writer I have seen better plot in story which my kid brother make and he is fucking 12 so do you guys get that . But let me tell you all fanfiction are not all shit I have seen some writer actually develope charachter as well as have unique plot just not copying other person work (some idiot would say " we are taking inspiration but that's not what inspiration is when you just copy whole fucking work )

These are some of my thought and idea which you guys could use for your fanfiction, As I am not very much creative writter that's why I gave my idea so that someone with proper talent could change these idea into something really elaborate and cool fiction.

The man ponders for a few moments before asking "If we let you go wild, what would you try to do? I cant just let you do anything you want, things might go wrong."

 "To be completely honest you know as much as I do about what will happen when I do become the Demon King, but what I do know is this, as soon as i get strong enough I need to show everyone that I am the Demon King by doing something horrible, most likely a mass murder spree to get them hating me. But that will affect me if I want to get followers who actually like me and are not just here so they can kill people." Ray ponders to himself aloud.

"Damn, for a kid he actually thinks things through well before he decides what to do, thinking about it from every angle and not just blindly rushing things, I think he is gonna be a good Demon King if he can find some people to help him achieve his goal. I wonder will his friends help him, or will they turn against him when they find out he's the villain?" the old man thinks to himself before asking Ray, "So is this your way of telling me you accept, or are you just thinking about all the options and what the best choice is?"
  
"Yeah, I've decided that I'm going to accept your 'offer' and become the Demon King, but what will happen to the guy who was ment to be the Demon King, Mr Glass? I don't want him chasing me the entire time because I stole his character." Ray bluntly asked the old man as even though they stole from the game shop, he doesn't like people bearing a grudge at him for things he cant change.

"Dont worry about Mr Glass, we will take care of him for you. He will be compensated for not getting to be the Demon King by getting either another op character, an op weapon or amour or an op skill at the beginning of the game, as long as you dont do anything in the game to piss him off he wont come for you, if he does we'll take care of him for you.

"Ok next question, do I get to name my character or is there already a set name, cause I don't want to be called any generic Demon King names, or any that make no sense at all, that only the nerdiest of needs would know about."

"Yes you get to name your character as long as the end name is given the ok by us so we can update all the needed info about you"

"How long do I have to choose everything that I want, cause I'm going to need at least a day or two to pick a suitable name as I don't want to pick a stupid one, that would be even worse than you picking one cause ut would be my fault"

"We can give you a day and a half to get the name sorted, after that we need to make the update to add you into the game before people start getting annoyed about the plot, or rather lack of it. After that you will be free to do whatever mischief you want"

"Wait wait wait...What do you mean lack of plot before I get added, what actually is the plot for the game because I dont particularly want to be chased 24/7 by random people trying to be the first to kill the Demon King, even though that's going to happen anyway. If I'm the only plot you have it's going to be a lot worse, and even if you do have a plot how much do I tie into it. A big game like yours should have a massive plot in my opinion and  not just the usual Demon King trying to kill everyone bs that most games run with"

"Don't worry your not the only thing in the plot, we tell players about you at the beginning but you don't Actually come in into nearer the end of the plot, that's all I can say for now but if you do a good job I should be able to tell you more. As I'm the one who decided to make you the new Demon King if anything goes wrong it all comes back to me so I'm going uo do my best to help you as much as I can. If you excuse me I need to let everyone know about the change of plans so we can prepare to let all the players know about you" With this the old man stopped the video and quickly went about his work.

"So now all I need to do is find a suitable name for myself...how hard can that be right? I know just the person who would be able to come up with a good name but I cant exactly tell him that I'm going to be the Main Plot in the game as that probably wouldn't be good for me, so what do I tell him..."


Three hours later...

Sitting on a old wooden desk is a black phone that suddenly lights up and displays a phone number with the name Asshole above it and starts to vibrate, after a few seconds a hand reaches out and grabs the phone and a loud groan can be heard then.

"What does he want with me now, he's probably still pissed about my rant earlier on and now I'm about to get an earful"

"Hey Jack my old buddy old pal how ya doing this lovely da...
"Its the middle of the night dipshit what do you want, get it over with fast I want to actually get some sleep tonight before I do myself actual damage because I passed out because of sleep deprivation" he says while putting his glasses on and switching on the lamp beside his bed.

"I need a good name to call a demon, MAO decided to make a demon and ask s random person to name it, and I decided that you would be able to come up with a better name than I would. But if you don't want to i can always ask someone el...

"NoNoNo I'm happy to just give me a few minutes to come up with something, did they tell you what the demon would be 
doing or just that it's a Demon?"

"From what I managed to get out of them it would cause mass destruction and death but that's all I got...OH and it would be killing people so something happened to them but they didn't say what, but they might actually change that, they haven't decided yet"

"...ok a good name would be Kharon as that's the name for Hade's ferrryman in Greek mythology, and he ferrys the souls of the damned to hell so he would fit the description. What do you think?"

"I think its perfect! I'll let them know about the name in the morning and if you want I'll even day that you came up with the name if you want...

after I had told Steph that she should look for the pulse of the Æther we sat down next to each other and tried to condense the Æther like it was explained. my rib still hurt a bit but it felt like with each bit of Æther that I condensed to protect my body it hurt a little bit less. 

It took me some time till all the Æther was changed and kept to my skin like clothes. I opened my eyes and looked around to see that Steph was at the screen looking at things. I called out to her with
"Hey Steph, what are you doing?" she turned around and smiled at me and said, " Oh are you finally finished too?" 

I looked at her and thought, ' Is she for real?' 
then I asked, "you're already finished?" 

"Yes it didn't take long for me with your hint the Æther moved pretty smoothly and once it reached my skin it just stayed there," she told me with a smile on her face. "wait yours didn't try to return to your center?" I asked her surprised. " what? yours wasn't scattered around your body?"  she asked me in return. I stared at her for a bit and then said, " no mine was gathering in my centers like a small vortex or something of the sort I had to constantly fight against it. So how was it for you?" 

" For me, it was scattered inside my body I could move it with every pulse but it stayed where it was once I had moved it. So does that mean Æther is different for every person?" she asked me. "Don't know. So what were you doing?" I asked her.
She turned back to the screen and then said, " I was looking at what to buy, I'm getting hungry and thirsty. Sadly everything we can buy is for the wilds and the dicks are still watching them closely." 
"Ok, that is bad, do you think we could manage to sneak something out before they could react?" I asked Steph. 
I watched her as she thought about the possibilities then she said, " maybe in some hours but, I want to increase our chances as far as possible so we both should invest all our at the same time and then rush out and grab as much as we can." "That's a good idea but how are we going to time it and I need to return to my plot before that," I said to her. 
she looked at me and then said, " right you didn't have the time to look at the screen yet it has a watch integrated, so you just need to sneak back to your plot. I would say we should take the time that isn't too predictable, let's go with 19:24." 
I nodded at her then she continued to look at her screen. the screen was the most interesting thing to me right now but sadly I couldn't see anything on Stephanie's screen. As I was watching Steph using her screen my sight shifted to the wilds and I saw how Pedro and his lackeys were entering a plot on the other side of the wilds. Seeing my chance to get home to my plot I rushed past Steph, said a quick goodbye to her and sprinted to my plot right next to the one I just left. One of the lackeys saw me and started to sprint in my direction but had no chance as the difference in the distance we both needed to cover was just too great. He didn't even cover half of the distance before I had already reached my plot. 
I turned to the lackey grinned and showed him my middle finger. 
The lackey was not amused and finished the rest of the way in record time and banged his fist against the invisible barrier. I didn't continue to watch him and started to look at my screen which seems to enrage him. Amused at this a small chuckle escaped my lips before I fully concentrated on the screen. 
the Massage from before was gone and in its place was something that looked like an online browser with multiple tabs at the top of the page. 
They were named the first one was called the shop, the following were the Libary and the Plot. I looked at each of them and there wasn't much to see plot was the settings of my plot, the library didn't have much just one entry and a sidebar for goals. the shop was the most interesting to me. It had my points that were at 18 and many options what to buy it even had a search function. I looked at the option available at the main menu and found three plants, animals and sources. I knew what animals and plants were but not what sources mean. So curious as I was I opened the category and found things such as air, water, earth, light and more of such aspects. I choose the first option and looked at it's a description. 

Air a mixture of different kinds of gases. buying this will provide a new unit of air every day. A unit of air is enough to support one animal or plat for one day. the extra air is removed at the end of each day. 

I started at this for a bit. then I thought, does that mean we even need to purchase such things as air, that is insane, who would think of that. I moved back to the main menu and then looked at animals the prices were extremely high I looked for a cheap one and I found a rabbit it did only cost 64 points more than four times my budget. I opened it and the description was not what I expected. 

The rabbit is a small animal known for its cutness. buying this will restock the wilds with one extra rabbit each day. Evolution is possible. 

wait does that mean that this rabbit can become something else. I looked at the description before me and at the bottom, I found some additional options I could use there were only three. 

The first was to remove the evolution option which would double the price, then there was the option to make the rabbit unfertile which would reduce the cost to a sixteenth from before and then there was the option to make it into a baby which would reduce the cost to a fourth. So I could reduce the cost of rabbits to 1 if I wanted but it would be an unfertile baby rabbit. but if I understand this correctly then the rabbit will be able to grow and evolve so it wouldn't be bad it would be an investment for the future. then suddenly I had an idea. I closed the shop and looked through all my options then under plots i saw what I was looking for and an evil grin spread on my face.

Earth has been destroyed. Luckily this isn't the end for mankind an alien civilization far more advanced than us has decided to prevent the extinction of the human race and migrate us to another planet. But there is just one problem. the earth didn't have any Æther, so the alien race decided to slowly accustom the human race to Æther before the migration.

Christian paused the anime that he is watching for a few hours. He took a deep breath before placing his mobile phone to the drawer besides his bed. He stares at the ceiling, observing the movement of the blades of the ceiling fan. The blades are spinning nonstop, unless the ceiling fan will be turned off. Just like in a movie, the story revolves on a particular character which is the protagonist. It will stop revolving once the movie ended. But sometimes, the audience tend to ignore the supporting characters as they were too focused on the protagonist. In a ceiling fan, we can only see its exterior which is the blade and the bracket. But the ceiling fan won't be a 'ceiling fan' without its interior parts, such as the motor and the wire. 

These random thoughts kept running in his mind. How he correlates the ceiling fan to a movie, it seems stupid. But it is his job after all. To write an interesting story that will caught not just the teenagers, but also different generations' interest. In order to produce a good movie, the reference story must be solid. A building must have a solid foundation to stand through different phenomenons. The plot, characters, setting, sequence of events, everything. Everything must be solid and strong. However, you need skills to create a good story. The creativity of words, the structure of each statements and of course, the grammar. Nowadays, grammar is big deal to teenagers. It seems like it is the standard of being intelligent. Also, you need an inspiration. As a writer, you need to identify your motives or intentions on writing. What inspires you to write, maybe your purpose on writing. It's important because it gives you encouragement whenever you are experiencing a writer's block. Lastly, you need to have experience. Those experiences are very important. Experiences may give you ideas about your story. Also, you may use your experience to improve the storyline. You just have to play with lines. 

A good story must be carefully made. It is somehow similar to a baby. It depends on the parent on how they will raise their baby. In a story, it depends on the author. 

Christian Simoune, a writer who is currently having a hard time thinking about a plot. It is very rare to see him struggle on writing a story. He produced a lot of stories, and those stories does have a movie. His penname, Toshiko Ryouta. 

Recently, his novel editor gave him three months of deadline to finish his story. It is for the novel prize award. Christian on the other hand, felt comfortable about it so he agreed. For the first week, he seems determined as he thought of a story plot. He even presented the plot story suggestion to his editor earlier than the planned date. But his editor said, "Cliché." So he discarded all his draft and think of a new plot. A month had passed, the deadline has come but he doesn't have anything to present. His editor is disappointed, and even mocked him. "Tan Enuo, not participating in the Novel prize award? Shame" His editor said in a teasing voice. Christian is disappointed to himself, and rushed. Two months and he still doesn't have a strong and concrete plot. 

Disappointing. He thought. 

Christian's editor asked him if he could still do it. Christian, being a prideful man says he could do it. But behind his direct statements, he is doubting himself. His editor left, giving Christian personal space. 

Christian took his phone to watch some movies for him to gain inspirations. He searched The Teenage Mutants, which is a cartoon. The main characters really caught his attention but at some point, he felt guilty. He is guilty that he gave the supporting characters less importance. Christian realized that the supporting character is like a ladder. A ladder that is used for climbing higher ends. 

Suddenly, Christian thought of something making him paused the cartoon he is watching. 

What is the life of an extra. 

Christian thought it was a good plot, so he immediately wrote it down and make a draft. He can't wait to share it to his co-workers, especially to his 'egoistic' editor. 

The next day, Christian is fully energized as he went to his workplace earlier than ever. The security guards greeted him, with a confused look on their face. "You seems early, Mr. Simoune."  One of the guards told him. "I'm just motivated." He replied ecstatically. The security guards gave him a worried look as he entered the elevator, pressing the his office floor button. 

When he entered the office, it's unusual that he is the only one inside. Well, it really is unusual when he is always late. Minutes had passed, his co-workers came one by one as they gave Christian a disbelief look. His editor finally came, and it is the signal that he should start sharing what he thought last night. 

Christian cleared his throat to get his co-workers attention. "I know it's unusual that I came early than everybody, but I thought of a plot." He said with a cheerful tone. His co-workers are exchanging looks, and his editor is surprised. They even joked that maybe he is sick or something. He rolled his eyes as he continues his announcement. "It's about the life of an extra." He said with full of pride. His co-workers on the other hand, couldn't understand what Christian meant by his statement. "Would you expound it for us?" One of his co-workers said. 

"A movie always includes: protagonist, antagonist and the supporting characters. Usually, the director put depth on the protagonist's story. Sometimes, the back story of the antagonist, of why did they turned to be the bad guy. It sounds cliché, doesn't it? Unfortunately, the watchers tend to not give importance to the supporting roles." Christian paused for a while to catch his breath. "What if we take a closer look on their story." He continued. 

His co-workers looked at him, and they seemed amused. Christian could hear his co-workers laughing and whispering. He felt disappointed because he thought it was a great idea. But, he heard someone speaking from his back. "Doesn't the story makes the supporting character the protagonist? I mean it really depends on the author." His editor spoke. It made him unease and confused. He couldn't seem to understand what his editor means. But a phrase popped up on his mind.

Christian Simoune, a famous author.  Throughout his journey, he faced a lot of challenges. Unfortunately, He tends to feel burned-out writing because of those challenges. As time passes by, he experienced unusual events.  Will it help him reach his goals despite of the challenges he is facing?

But after a long time, His journey reached to an end. Is he happy? Is he satisfied? But the important question is, 

"Did he reached his goal?"

After you confirm what genre and topic you wish to write about, it's now time for you as an author to design your settings and write the overall planned outline for your plot. As for why I'm putting these two elements together, that's because these two elements are deeply interconnected and inseparable.
 
When you're writing the overall outline, this is basically coming up with the story's plot. As you write the outline, what you're actually doing is fleshing out the details for your setting.
 
When you're writing a story, of course, you need to first consider where your story will happen, when it happens, who it happens to, and what type of person it happens to. As the story progresses, you also need to consider who the main character will meet in the story, what time and place he or she meets them at, along with who's stronger and who's weaker than the main character…
 
This is why by the time that you're finished with your overall outline, the world's background, various factions, levels, special abilities, treasures, all the important characters… and such settings will be naturally completed during the course of outlining.
 
The reverse is true as well. If you first work on designing the detailed settings instead, then you'll basically end up with an outline for the story's plot and how the main character grows over the story as well.
 
Of course, there's still some differences depending on which angle you start from. However, newcomer authors like you don't need to worry about this. You can simply create based on your personality and whatever you prefer. It doesn't matter whether you start from the settings or the outline. You can even do both at the same time.
 
For newcomer authors like you, there's only five points that are critically important for you to understand.
 
1.      Having an overall outline isn't absolutely necessary, but having one is always better than not having one
 
Theoretically speaking, even if you didn't prepare an overall outline, it might not affect the progress of you writing your novel at all. There are some authors out there that simply write whatever comes into their mind and go with the flow.
 
Of course, this is all just a best-case scenario in theory. For the great majority of authors out there, once your story's plot exceeds your planned outline... 

Your outline will help your story stay on track in the early stages, but once you reach the mid and late stages, all sorts of problems often appear, such as too many plotlines all at once, self-contradictory plotlines, or writer's block…
 
At such a time, authors will typically regret not creating a more detailed outline, but it's already too late now. Actually, overall outlines have more uses than you think.
 
Since webnovels are typically longer than normal novels, they take much longer to write as well. Typically, it takes an average author several months or even longer to finish writing everything in their overall outline. By the time that they're finish writing everything in their overall outline, most authors will have new ideas and insights into what they want to write. Once they combine their new ideas with their original outline, in a way, this gives them two sources of inspiration. It's basically the equivalent of two people working together, and on top of that, these two people know exactly what each other are thinking.
 
It's easy to see how this can be helpful in improving the quality of your novel.
 
Apart from this, while creating an overall outline, the author can also discover many topics or problems with the settings and correct them in time.
 
To give an extreme example, if you're having a great difficulty with writing your overall outline and don't know what to do with your own plot, this proves that there's a large problem with your plot. You should either make major changes, or delete this part of your plot entirely.
 
So, newcomer authors definitely shouldn't overlook the uses of having an overall outline. No matter if you have a good or bad outline, a simple or a detailed one, as long as you have one, that's good.
 
What needs to be noted is that only outlines that have been written out truly count as outlines.
 
Even if you as an author have a very detailed outline, and even if you've solidly memorized every single plot point in your outline, any outline that hasn't been written into your novel doesn't count as a true outline. That's because when you actually start writing, you'll discover that what you finally end up writing will always have differences from what you envisioned.
 
2.      You need to finish your outline, but it doesn't need to be complete
 
Thinking about your outline is equivalent to thinking about your novel's plot. You need to consider both the beginning and the end. You also need to think about everything that the main character experiences from the beginning to the end of the story.
 
If your outline isn't finished, but only half-finished, you won't even be able to predict the storylines that come later, which will cause you to have difficulties writing your plot once you finish the beginning stages. This is basically the same as not having an outline at all.
 
Still, there's no need for us to make the outline as detailed as possible from the very beginning, with so many specific scenarios for all your plots. The reason for this is quite simple—none of us know just how long our novels will turn out to be in the end.
 
A story that's written with the intent of becoming a commercial product needs to be sufficiently long enough right from the planning stage. The longer your potential story, the better. But actually, how many words it finally ends up with depends on how well your story performs.
 
If your story is incredibly popular and performs well in the market, then we can consider writing it for as long as possible. However, if your story obviously isn't popular with readers, then you can consider ending your story in a timely fashion at an appropriate point in the plot so that you can think of a new story instead. That would be a wiser decision if you wish to become a professional author.
 
Of course, when you're only in the outlining stage, it's impossible for you as a newcomer author to know how readers will react to your novel. Precisely because of this, you need to have a flexible writing plan. What this means is that you should have an outline that's detailed in the beginning and general near the end. For the beginning of your story, you should have as detailed an outline as possible, while for the middle and especially the later parts of your story, you only need some general ideas. All you need is to consider the overall development of the plot so that you know what direction to take your storyline in.
 
For example, maybe you planned that the beginning of your novel will be approximately 80,000 words, and you've prepared a 4,000-word outline for just the beginning. In that case, your outline for the next 80,000 words, the middle of your story, might only need 3000 words, and the meat of your story, another 240,000 words, might have an outline that's less than 1000 words.
 
Of course, as you continue writing your story, you should constantly update your outline as well. You should complete your outline for the next 80,000 words before you finish writing the first 80,000 words.
 
3.      Your settings need to be constantly updated

Just like writing an outline, you should first come up with the basic settings before you even begin writing, which includes your world background, main character's personality, power levels, and so on.
 
More specific settings, such as a powerful artifact that appears in the story, can be added as you write your story.
 
Unlike an outline, you don't need to fully plan out all of your settings at the very beginning. It's perfectly acceptable to think of new settings while you're writing.
 
However, newcomer authors need to note that while it's okay to come up with new settings as you write, you should write these settings down and add them to your outline or settings document as you write.
 
This is to help yourself check your own settings later in the future. Otherwise, a novel that reached over one million words and has lasted for one year or longer might cause you as an author to completely forget about something you wrote before in the past. It's even quite common to make a mistake when writing about the items that the main character possesses. Yet, there will always be a sharp-eyed reader or two that catches the author out in a misstep.
 
If you have a very detailed document on your settings, not only will you be able to greatly reduce your own plot continuity errors, you'll also be able to look through your settings whenever you have writer's block and find some inspiration in a side character that you have already forgotten about or some item that was mentioned before but never used again.
 
4.      It's better for your settings to be cliché
 
Here, this means the systems and names that you use for your settings. For example, the names and levels you use for a martial arts society.
 
Many newcomer authors will mistakenly think that using already existing well-known settings will make their novel seem too cliché, causing them to want to be as "unique" as possible. These authors will use their imaginations to come up with all sorts of fictional vocabulary words, which in their minds will make their novels "stand out." These newcomer authors don't realize that this is the worst possible way to write a novel. In the great majority of situations, this will have the opposite effect from intended.
 
A new original novel that you write should be a new interpretation or story about some specific genre or story type. How to make your novel stand out depends on the conflicts you create in your story and how the main character resolves them. As for coming up with new vocabulary words and names for your novel, even if you make them sound really cool, or make some modified slang words, it's almost never a good thing for you.
 
The reason for this can also be understood in my article about how to write the beginning of your story. By doing so, the author is placing more burden upon the readers to understand a larger amount of information.
 
There will always be other already existing words that you could have used, which are easily understood by all your readers. Instead, your readers now need to spend their time and effort on reading your explanations. Obviously, readers aren't here to read your technical manuals or info dumps. The more explanations that you have in your novel, the lower your novel's appeal and flow will become. But, if you don't add any explanations for your self-created words at all, the readers won't even understand what's going on.
 
This is why newcomer authors should avoid this useless type of "creativity" as much as possible. You should simply rely on settings that all readers are familiar with instead.
 
5.      The storyline should be pushed forward by using conflicts
 
Many newcomer authors will often develop writer's block when planning their outline or working on their novel.
 
Sometimes, this is because the author has made their storyline too messy. But most of the time, it's because the author feels like there's nothing to write about, or doesn't know what they should make the main character do. The author has no idea how to continue their own story.
 
In order to deal with writer's block, or in other words, how to push your storyline alone, the answer is actually incredibly simple.
 
You can answer this question using only one word – Conflicts!
 
Actually, the critical element of all webnovels can be summed up into one word – conflicts. For example, leveling is the desire or need of the main character to become stronger, which is a conflict between the main character and his or her own current weakness.
 
And since there is a conflict, you must resolve the conflict. And so, your main character wants to cultivate to become stronger, which means he needs to travel around the world in order to find cultivation methods…
 
All sorts of conflicts will both push forward your storyline as well as create numerous climaxes for your readers. It can be said that how you design your conflicts is the very foundation of writing any novel, not just a webnovel.
 
As for a more detailed analysis on how to design your story's conflicts, please read my intermediate-level article on the topic. For newcomer authors like you, you simply need to understand this concept, and know that you should keep coming up with new conflicts whenever you're having trouble keeping up with your own storyline. Try finding potential conflicts from plots, characters, and items you've already used, or forcefully introduce a new element into your story that creates a new conflict.
 
This can be said to be one of the most basic techniques of planning your storyline.
