On Saturday night, the 1st year contractors were laying around various parts of the arena field. Laying upon the the side of his wolf, Jaeger was looking at the possible evolutions of Shadow. He was trying to decide between evolving Shadow to Epic level or a variant Rare creature that would have higher magical power. Each had its merit but only one could be chosen. The current Matrix screen looked like this

Rank 4 Epic Shadow Lycan. More agile but slower than natural wolf forms. Stronger than werewolf counterpart. Able to shift into a human form and speak while in human form. No weakness to silver and iron like werewolf counterpart. No berserk ability.

Rank 5 Epic Demonic Lycan. More agile but slower than natural wolf forms. Stronger than werewolf counterpart. Able to shift into a human form and speak while in human form. No weakness to silver. Weakness to iron. No berserk ability.

Each of the evolutions shown, showed the various strengths and weaknesses as well as the definite and possible natural abilities that they would have. Certain abilities were able to be plugged into the matrix while others were completely random for the evolution. Seeing all the choices he was spoilt with Jaeger knew he had to make a decision. He needed a partner that was powerful and would help him match the princess's demonic fighting capabilities. While he was generally lazy, he was also highly competitive. 'Beat your opponents easily, but make it seem like a struggle so no one will challenge you for it.' Having made up his mind on the evolution of Shadow, Jaeger also took a quick preview at the few evolutions Wisp was capable of before deciding on its evolution as well.

Jaeger recalled both familiars into his matrix before beginning their evolutions. Within his Matrix he could see the both creatures enter into cocoons. Neither egg showed signs of awakening any time soon so Jaeger recalled his mind from his Matrix before laying down to rest for the night. 

'I guess I'll have to surrender the fights tomorrow if these 2 don't wake up in time. The price of too much yet too little knowledge. I'll have to experiment more with my next familiar in 3 months to find out what exactly my ability can do' were his last thoughts before drifting off into sleep. 

In his dreams, he saw a demon staring at him as if waiting for him to do something. The demon was wearing black as the night and wearing red and gold royal attire. Upon his head sat an eye catching silver crown.  The staring seemed to continue for several minutes before the demon realized the human before it fell asleep. In a dream. The thought baffled the demon who just let out an evil chuckle to himself.

'Interesting human. Let's see if you will be worthy to be my master one day'

The next day around noon Professor Rumi gathered all 7 students around her and began to explain the rules. They were very basic rules. The matches would be knockouts. Once a person lost a single match, they would be out. Loses on same tier would have ranks determined by Rumi. Example: the 2 who lost the semi finals, Professor Rumi would decide 3rd and 4th place based their results and not an addition round. 

Battles would be until creatures were destroyed, contractor was knocked unconscious, contractor was removed from ring, surrender, or Rumi had intervened on a student's behalf. Permanent injuries and killing were not allowed. Sexual harassment such as purposely stripping opponent or have familiar sexually assault opponent would result in having to fight Professor Rumi. Random Student would skip first round since numbers were uneven. The student who ended up with the free victory was Jaeger. First up was the girl with the lightning mantis and a boy with a fire boar.

The battle went unexpectedly. While the girl had the more powerful and faster creature both students were unused to battle. When the battle started the boar charged straight ahead to hopefully hit the mantis who easily dodged the attack. But what no one expected was the boar being unable to stop and ending up charing into the girl, who was then flung outside the the ring. Professor Rumi did not intervene as she saw the injuries were mild and would be an excellent lesson for the girl.

"Winner: Fred! Next: Ren vs George"

The mantis left the ring to be with its master and Fred had recalled his boar to clear up the space. Ren and George called out their familiars before the komodo and a fire tortoise appeared. The battle ended as swiftly as the other. While the komodo's weakness was its speed but a tortoise was even slower. Once it was able to close the gap, the komodo began tearing into the tortoise. George swiftly surrendered when he noticed the state is partner was in. 

"Winner: Ren! Next: May vs Alfred"

 The last battle was the most intense out of all the ones that occurred. The two familiars were common rank pixies. May had a water element pixie while Alfred's pixie was of the wind element. Both exchanged blows for more than ten minutes before the Water Pixie was able to achieve a narrow victory. Professor Rumi looked unimpressed as she announced the results

"Winner:May! Next round: Ren vs Fred. May vs Jaeger. Fights will start in 30 minutes after you have time to recover."

Always liked to read interesting beast taming or summoner novels. All the good ones either lose quality half way through or just go on hiatus. So I decided to try my hand at it.

 If you are looking for an edge lord, he will not be found. If you are looking for Prince Charming, he will also not be found. This novel might have a harem but it also might not. Depends on how the world and the MC speak to me. 

The MC will be OP but not in a way where he is unbeatable. He will have to earn his victories and suffer through losses. His relationships will be tested. Some will get stronger through them and some will be destroyed whether because of his faults or because of theirs.

1) Lycan vs Werewolf : 

Both Lycan and Werewolf can transform into wolves from humans. Still, there are many differences between both of them. 

A Lycan's wolf is a bigger wolf than any other werewolf, also stronger, faster, and immortal. Also, a Lycan has the ability to create a werewolf out of a normal human only by biting him, but a werewolf can't do so. 

A Lycan's bite is a killer bite for a vampire, the saliva of a Lycan is a venom that has no cure when it comes to vampires.

2) The mate bond : 

In the Lycan//werewolf world, mates are for life each and everyone has a mate( a destined soulmate). A Lycan//werewolf might find it mate when he turns 16 years old, if not it may take like forever. But whenever Lycan//werewolf finds its own mate, they fall instantly both in love. Rejecting your mate means rejecting your destiny, and as a result it causes eternal misery to both male and female. A mate can be either werewolf or Lycan or a human. Accepting the mate pull can be only by : 

First: Accepting mentally your mate. 

Second: Marking your mate. 

Only mates can mark each other by biting one another on the neck, The mark will keep the other Lycan and Werewolf away from the mates. Only the Lycans and werewolves are able to see the mark on a she-wolf, humans can't see the mark. 

Third: sealing the bond. 

It happens only if they both fully mated (by having sex). 

Missing one of these steps means that the mate bond is incomplete. But once the mate bond is complete, both of the mates become like one soul. They get to read each other's thoughts, feel the same feelings, and more. It also became impossible for them to live without each other. 

One of them's death can cause the death of the other one, and if it's not it may cause an eternal misery.

3) Vampires: 

Vampires are immortal night creatures that feed on human blood. Since forever Vampires were known for subducting then hypnotizing their human victims before feeding on their blood. They can consume human's normal food, but still they need blood to feed on. 

they had superpower and high speed, high Senses that allowed them to see, hear, smell, and taste better than any other normal human being. Vampires are vulnerable against silver and sunlight, still they have some sort of supernatural power that change from a vampire to another, and they call these superpowers by gifts. Some of them can control water, others can control the wind, flames of fire, some of them even can control minds, or see upon future .... The most wanted gift is the shield since this one can protect them from the sun cursed. These powers and abilities grow stronger with time, age, and the consumption of human blood.

4) Lycan-Vampire Hybrid : 

Lycan-Vampire Hybrid is a mixture of a vampire and a Lycan. Hybrids possess the powers of both species, yet they don't have their weaknesses. Which makes the hybrid stronger than both species.

5) The characters : 

Queen Sophie: A warm, soft-hearted woman. She is not the king's real mate, but his chosen one. Not because they were in love with each other, but because she was Lord Livingstone's (one of the richest Lycans ever) only daughter, and being together would support Edmund's legal right to the throne. 

King Edmund 'the fifth': The king of both Lycans and werewolves, He's been ruling for over 10000 years, though he still young he seems to be ready to give up the throne. The scariest dark creature of the story can also define him, he also hid a secret that would change all the game rules. 

Liam's "The Second": The future Alpha king of Lycans and werewolves, he's so obsessed with power and proving himself to his father. His obsession will cause him to lose everything. 

Elizabeth Wilson: The female lead, the human that will end up as the mighty hybrid. Not to mention that she's the one who's going to bring the prophecy of 'the end of the world' back. 

Diana Josepha Franziska: She's known by many sorts of definitions. She was the vampire's mate, the hybrid's mother, and also was known to be the strongest Lycan female soldier. A big twist in the story would rely on her death. 

Alexander 'the first': The vampire king, also known as the demon. He's more of afraid of than loved, even by his own people. He lost himself to darkness the moment Diana died. His only interest is to bring her back to life, no matter what it costs. 

Elijah Tryniski: The vampire king's right hand. A charming vampire with double personality aspects. He's also known as a cold blood killer, not to mention that he's way too good with strategies. The exact reason why the vampire king prefers him in person. He also carries a big hatred towards Lycans and werewolves. 

Logan William Ziolkowski: Diana's first son and also Elizabeth's older brother, he's also the Delta of the future Alpha King 

William Patrick Ziolkowski: Logan's father and King Edmund's Delta. He was in love with Diana in his first days when he was just a soldier and still has feelings for her even though she's dead. 

Albert Ernst: He's the same age as Daniel 'The Alpha King', he is the Beta for both King Edmund and Daniel. Though he is still young, he lived just for a few hundred years, he was surprisingly chosen for the position of Beta by the King Edmund himself.

I was a weak human; he was the Lycan king. Fate bonds us through a beautiful love story, at least that's what I used to believe. 
Then I discovered that I'm nothing more than a human pet for him, a sexual tool as he liked to call me. He won't ever love me out of the mate bond, and I'm too weak to be his queen.

aku mencoba untuk duduk dan segera melepaskan bear trap dajjal ini. dan OH GOD! PROSESNYA SAKIT BANGET SETIAP HAMPIR TERLEPAS TANGANKU SECARA MISTIKNYA BISAAN AJA MEMBUAT KAKI KU TERJEPIT LAGI DENGAN SEMPURNA, MULUT BEAR TRAP INI MASUK NANCEP LAGI KE BAGIAN LEBIH DALAM KAKI KU.

Akhirnya air mata ku yang ku tahan tahan banjir juga, membasahi wajahku. Aku nangis sampai bengek.

Werewolf itu terdiam melihat dan mendengar suara tangis ku yang memecahkan gelandang telinga.

"PERGI SANA JAHANAM!" Pekiku marah, karena ada dia aku jadi ambyar, tambah lagi aku malu banget mengingat werewolf ini bukan cuma wolf. Dia manusia juga. 

Hanya God yang tau betapa bersyukurnya aku merubah warna mata dan rambutku serta memakai pakaian seadanya, sehingga jika saat di hutan beneran dipertemukan dengan hal ajaib ga bakal ketawan aku ini siapa.

Aku yang memekik sambil memaki maki tiada habisnya karena kosakata ku banyak sekali, membuat werewolf itu muak, dia mengaum menggelar dan memekakak an. 

Aku sungguh bersyukur telingaku tidak mengeluarkan darah, akibat sosok makluk satu ini.

Aku memfokuskan sihirku, melupakan rasa sakit yang ada di kakiku aku merapalkan sihir untuk membuatnya pergi dan lupa dengan hal yang terjadi

Entah sudah keberapa aku merasa bersyukur karena aku tidak menjadikan tongkat sebagai alat utama sihirku. Bisa bisa aku tidak bisa merapalkan sihir itu dengan tangan ku.

'hahahaha' didalam kepalaku aku tertawa miring atas kebodohan ku sendiri. Lalu semuanya menjadi gelap

I've never even been in a relationship. Although should my mate not be a virgin depending on his age, I may reject him. Rejecting your mate is frowned upon. The only cases where someone rejects their mate is if they are crazy or mentally unstable. In rare cases your wolf can reject your mate. I could just kill anyone my mate has or might of been with. It's the right of any mate. Most are careful of who they sleep with because their mate has the right to try and kill you.
I seriously doubt that my mate has been with anyone. You see, I am a sadist. Which mostly means my mate is a masochist. I like to give pain and I would like my mate to happily receive it. I'll be difficult to be mated to someone who isn't a masochist. I have no idea how we would have sex. I am not at all, a vanilla man.
I've trained to be a successful sadist since I was fifteen. Our strongest pack warrior is a sadist as well. His first mate was completely vanilla. They ended up rejecting each other for obvious reasons. He was heartbroken for years yearning for a second chance mate. While second chance mates aren't common, it can happen. He luckily found his second chance mate at a yearly gathering. His luck just kept on running out. His second chance mate was human. Human aren't rare. Many are born to werewolf families. They end up with no wolf, just a few enhanced senses.
He thankfully was a masochist but being human, his body was way more frail than a werewolf. Frail vs. werewolf strength was most likely not going to turn out well. But his human mate wouldn't take no for an answer. He broke all of his mates rules, and eventually he had no choice but to be punished. The werewolfs have their own community when it comes to BDSM. There's basic rules that all submissives and slaves have to follow. Brake them and you get punished.
It all worked out in the end. It turns out that the humans body healed fast and was stronger than anyone though. He inherited a lot of werewolf abilities but sadly no wolf. They ended up in a nice relationship and they both love each other. Although their story had a happy ending it's not like that for everyone.
Natalia's first mate was crazy and put on death row. Her mate ended up dead. that was a hard time for her but hopefully she finds a second chance mate. She deserves one. As my Beta she's amazing. As a person she's a little off. But who can blame her. After her mate died her life was insane. She slept around, got drunk, got high, became depressed. I let her go through her little phase so I would have more to guilt trip her with later. One day I stopped her and asked if her second chance mate would want a piece of trash that didn't respect her own body. I told her that she couldn't be responsible and dominate someone when your life is a mess.
She finally picked herself up and now doesn't leave the pack house unless it's for work. She keeps all the she-wolves off me. You have no idea how many people want to sleep with me. Now I know that sounds arrogant but if your could see how many of them sneak into my room, you wouldn't think my sentence was arrogant. And they don't even consider the possibility that I might be gay. Just to clarify, I totally am.
I am currently in my office working out the details for the yearly gathering. It happens the last week of november. It's always a week long. Any longer and we would waste time needed to prepare christmas. Although we are werewolfs and don't follow the same religion as humans, it's still fun to decorate and eat together.

In addition to the Chinese language, foreign languages were uttering madly too.

The audience had reached a boiling point and there was a lot of noise!

Ye Lingchen glanced at the dispirited number 10 player and continued to speak.
The number 10 player held the ball in his hand and was completely speechless. All he felt was that Ye Lingchen's figure grew mightier and mightier in his eyes, to the point where it struck fear in him.
"Scared already? Then... What about you?" Ye Lingchen saw the opponent remaining quiet for some time and turned to look at the other Stick Nation players.
They looked at each other with horror in their eyes. A few of them stepped back instinctively.
Two simple moves crushed all of Stick Nation's players. No one expected the condescending Stick Nation players would become so timid in such a short time. That timidness came straight from inside their heart.
"Don't mind him! Shoot!"
At that moment, the number 10 player's face was dull, but he shouted out loud and raised his hand to toss the basketball over!
Thump!
Another baseball player jumped up, caught the ball, then lowered his head and ran frantically toward the hoop!
"Basketball is not a game for one person! It's a scoring game! We've won this game! We've won! With this kind of score, how could you possibly catch up with us?!" Player number 10 seemed to have gone mad as he roared with reddened eyes.
His words made everyone's heartbeat quicken.
"Shameless!"
"Tsk! He can only show-off for a short while now. If he had entered the game earlier, we would've long won it!"
"It doesn't matter, China's basketball is going to make headway!"
The Chinese scolded and sneered.
"Sigh, such a pity!" Bureau Chief Fang sighed but looked at Ye Lingchen with a smile. "But... this guy really has character, hahaha..."
He had overwhelmed his opponents' psyche, and as for winning or losing the game, everyone knew that it was no longer important.
The audience watched as the player dribbled past other players in a flash and reached the Chinese team's basketball hoop...

The guy's energy and his polar bear form did not match at all, and I swear he was smiling at me. The Harem Hero? Was I just a joke to the other male gods? Well, I'll send him back with a good story!

I rush him head-on, he was bigger, but I was faster. Keller dropped his head and rushed to ram me; I jumped, turning my self sideways above him.

I locked onto his neck, thanks to my aerial maneuver, I landed on his large back. I let go, but Keller roared and then reared back, toppling me off. Keller turned and reared up to smash his head and clawed paws down on me.

I jumped for his throat without thought, the skill automatically locking and completing the action before the bear could. I toppled him backward, but he grappled me and clawed at my scaly skin, but it had minimal effect.

Keller wrapped me in his arms and started to crush me.

I just needed a bit more, but this damn bear... was strong! I could feel myself start to slip, but then the skill was green and refreshed.

I gouged the same spot, and the pressure started to lessen as I tore foam out and red juice covered me. Soon, Keller stopped struggling, and his grip around my body fell away. I stood up from him and hopped down; I turned to see he had a smile on his face, even in death, maybe he wasn't mocking me...
Suddenly, Keller's body burst into white particles, not like a monster, but he had the same golden core. It floated momentarily, then shot into me.
"Hooo! That was so cool! You were all jump and spin, then bite, bite, bite! Ugly or not, your still a beast! Let's see how much uglier you can get!"
Ugh, this woman was a brat. Yes, I know she is a cute little fairy right now, but she was actually a computer program represented at the same age as me. This little cutesie act was all for the viewers; I could remember that we had been alone in the past, and things were different.
I ignored her comments and open the page and select the Evolution options.

I felt my body start to grow again, and my muscles became tight and stiff like steel; yeah, now I was a rock! A new ability pooped up, and I tried to contain my excitement, but my scaled tail was wagging. Luckily, no one was here to witness my man child escape.

 Disregarding the fact that I had no fists, this was going to be fun. The next choice made me make what I was sure a gruesome wolfish bloody grin as I looked over the next selection.

Ugh, how do you pick? Were-wolf or whatever a dragon wolf was. Where was Trinity when I needed her? Oh, ya, on a vacation that I sent her on! Pff, whatever, I can do this! A werewolf was super cliche, so let's pick the only real choice!

Woah! My body started to stretch and elongate! What the hell was this? When the process was over, I wasn't sure if I should laugh hysterically or curl up like a snake and cry. 
I was now a Chinese-style dragon...with a wolf's scaled head... A new skill window popped, but I all but ignored it, looking for the next evolution choice. There was none; I looked back to the skill and studied it before closing it and opening up my sheet.

Hammer Tail was not a fair trade for Hammer Fist! Dammit, I should have gone with the Werewolf! Now, I just looked ridiculous, no horns or whiskers and a skinny little head!

Now what? The sun had started to set, so that shelter would be the best bet. I struggled for the first five-hundred steps or so. Trying to figure out how to walk with a slinky body was next to impossible. There had to be an easier way, think, Dave!
 It a dragon without wings, but there was a green dragon from an anime I watched in the real world before coming here. That dragon could fly without wings, but how? Do I need to want to fly...I'm floating; wow, really? And to move for...yup, okay, never mind, this is bangin!
After some cruising above the trees, but no higher, I had found a cave, but I wanted to look around. I was like my body was just not meant to go higher than this. It wasn't like I wanted to go up there anyway, the sky was starting to fill fast with a heavy and wet feeling fog, so I headed to the cave I had found. 
I dropped down and floated into the cave, but there was something inside the cave. My eyes adjusted to the dark, and I was surprised to find a sleeping Bunny girl, well more bunny than girl, but still kind of cute from behind. I moved closer, floating through the air, but the froze as long claws hovered at my eyes. She had heard me, and now I was going to die.
"Ara Ara Ara, Ara?"(What do you want, Fox?)

The Arena is giant open space, probably around the size of 6 football stadiums. There are also seats for people who want to watch. 

We walk into the stadium and are asked to split into 6 groups of 50. Me, Riza and Lucian join the same team, Lucian has been hanging around Riza lately so I had no choice but to let him follow. 

The kin... I mean the principal came and to explain the exam

Only 1 round, only 3 teams out of 6 can stay at the academy. There are no rules except for whoever eliminates the other team wins, either by death, K.O or surrender.

Each team will dismissed to the preparation rooms, each team members band will signal when its your time to take the exam. Each room has crafting tables, weapons and materials, all free for use to customize your fighting style.

The principal continues with speech, wishing us luck and stuff like that untill he finally dismisses us to the preparation rooms.

Everyone gets their own so that we don't have to fight over materials and crafting tables. My team is part of the 3rd round, the last round. I start looking at the materials and weapons, checking quality and power when the room suddenly starts shaking, I lose my balance for a second and then hear the cheers of everyone at the arena.

The crowd is going wild, the shaking appears every 5 minutes, they simply enjoy senseless violence I guess. I begin to gather the best materials in the preparation room, Its time to get started.

In another room Riza had already started making her weapons, Riza had made dagger and a spear, the weapons had no extraordinary abilities or power. She contemplated whether to use Acacius blade or not, the weapon is strong and she still hasn't overcome her fear of Ignis.

Riza grabs the blade and stares at it for a while, its black and heavy, she can see the energy coming from it, she can the souls trapped inside. The voices call out to her, telling her to summon them. The voices taunt her, using her fear of Ignis and her time as a prostitut. Riza stares at the blade a little longer before putting the blade away. She places her spear on her back and holds her dagger in her hand and walks out of the room.

Riza goes into the waiting room to watch the match, she bumps into Lucian, the 2 make small talk with Lucian commenting on how her face has no emotions. Riza notices that Lucian doesn't have any weapons on him and asks why, Lucian explains that werewolf culture teaches them to survive on their raw power and magic. Riza stays with Lucian while waiting for Acacius.

Acacius had finally finished his armor and weapons. He still has his black cardigan and white shirt but he now has a cape that covers his shoulders and back. Acacius knew he couldn't fail here, otherwise his plans would be for nothing. He activates his shadow eyes again and whispers to himself.

"No mercy"
