The stranger was a tall medium built man of his mid fifties, garbed within a all-black three piece suit; while sporting an even darker  black trench coat warren down and  battered by the elements. He didn't have much to say when waltzing into the town's only saloon, and was far from being an remarkable fellow that stood out from the Saloon's  regulars besides a well seasoned leather guitar case;  which spoke of his years of constant travels. He entered through the front doors drench from the rain, he showed no signs of being phazed by the bitter chillness of his damp clothing, and walked towards the bar corner top where an pudgy beast-kin man with bull traits who manded his station. He presented himself with a slowy yet calculating stride towards the bartender, his battle scarred battle spoke of a fighting man who has seen the harshness of life's reality, and his Bright emerald green eyes signified to his pudgier friend; the tall tell signs of a cunning predator who was on the hunt; which sent chills down the man's spine. " Whiskey chaser." The man within Black's gruff voice boomed throughout the room drowning out the roaring thunder within the background. meanwhile the bartender went unto his business, the mysterious stranger leaned his guitar case against the bar corner, and present a cigarette packet from  his drenched trench coat; before the flashes of a zippo lighter and all too familiar noxious smell of nicotine lingered within the air. while this was all happening a lonely gang of degenerate bikers known as the Death vipers played a game of pool paying no heed to the pending danger before them. " Hey whore, bring us more beers." the ginger biker  said with a snaring tone. The waitress was a young woman within her early twenties, and showed signs of physical abuse, as she brought the bikers before her another round on the house. The man within Black camly grinned his emerald green turned into a neon violet purple, as he spoke.  " Jeffery, Jeffery Anderson....I've been expecting you." He said before the sounds of gunfire, and the sickening blood curling screams of death could be heard over the distance cries of thunder. Death had came to Georgia, and the injustice  committed  against an young mother; who was  brutally raped and murdered in her own home had been vengeaned... Beware the man who wears black, for only death follows close behind, and hell awaits those who are dammned....

Amelia kept quiet, but you could see from her face that she was anxious to play music with Jax again.

"Yeah I am, but I'm going to need a new guitar." (Jax)

"Why? What's wrong with the old one?" (Paul)

"It broke when the moving company's truck got into an accident. My other things are fine but, yeah my guitar broke." (Jax)

Paul looked unhappy, but Jax noticed Amelia was angrier than Paul seemed to be, he then remembered a rare conversation he had with Paul about his deceased wife.

Back then he had told Jax, that his wife used to play songs gently, instead of singing lullabies to Amelia. 

It seems like the reason both of them love music so much, guitars, in particular, is because of Amelia's mother.

"How about we play a bit before we talk about my new guitar?" Jax wanted, no, needed to change the atmosphere, if this went on they would blow a fuse.

"Fine, what song do you want to play?" said Paul as he walked to a corner of the store where there was a drumset and a bass guitar.

Amelia ran to the other side of the store and grabbed an electric guitar from a stand and ran back with.

"How about Live Wire, Mötley Crüe?" asked Jax as he grabbed the guitar Amelia had brought him.

"Sure thing" (Paul)

"Yep" (Amelia)

"Should I sing the lyrics?" (Jax)

"Absolutely you're really good at singing." (Amelia)

Jax looked at them with a questioning gaze he had never sung when he was playing with them before after all.

"She found a video of you and your little band playing at a bar on the internet," Paul explained for Jax

"I see," (Jax)

"Why didn't you sing before?" (Amelia)

Jax had a helpless smile, after all, he only started singing with his band, because they couldn't find a fourth member, so he decided to do it himself.

They got ready, they adjusted their instruments, Jax and Amelia were tuning their guitars while Paul got comfortable.

When they were ready Jax started with the intro.

After the song finished, the three looked at each other and laughed.

"So are you back or just visiting?" (Paul)

Jax just smiled as he started to play another song, this caused Amelia to giggle and Paul to look at his daughter confused.

"I think that supposed to be your answer Dad. Get it he's playing AC/DC Back in Black, and he mostly wears black."

Paul shook his head helplessly.

Just as he and Amelia were about to start playing along the front door's chime rang through the shop.

"Well that's it for today, Amelia why don't you help Jax get a new guitar while I'll go see if the costumers need any help. Oh and Jax I'm glad you're back," said Paul as he stood up and left while he played around with the drumsticks in his hands.

"Yeah, me too" (Jax)

"So wanna look around or you already have something in mind?" (Amelia)

"I wanted to get one made like this here," said Jax as he pulled out a piece of paper with a drawing on it.

"A Stratocaster with a maple fingerboard huh." (Amelia)

"Yeah I want it to be sapphire blue and black and this symbol on the black part in white" Jax pointed a symbol on the paper.

"That is beautiful what is it, I guess it means something right?" (Amelia)

"It's a crest that used to be sown on clothes and armor or carved on doors by a family who used to be Vikings years ago, these four runes mean 'Loyalty, Family, Strenght and Protect' it's based on an oath one of their ancestors took ' I will be Loyal to those whom I consider Family and I will seek the Strength to Protect them' it became somewhat of a creed or a family motto if you will." (Jax)

The symbol looked like a wolf's head biting on a circle in which were the four runes.

"You said it belonged to a family?" (Amelia)

"Yeah, the Ragnarsson Family, their ancestor was supposedly adopted by the legendary Viking king Ragnar Lothbrok, so he changed his last name and he dedicated his life to protecting Ragnar, until before his death when Ragnar send him to his first wife Lagertha and instructed him not to interfere with his sons. 

Their ancestor was left out, of most stories and historic accounts because he chose, to stay in the dark, he didn't want fame he wanted to repay his debt." (Jax)

"Wow that sounds awesome, are you related to that family?" (Amelia)

"Yeah, kinda." (Jax)

"Ok, then I'll send the order out and call you when your guitar gets here." (Amelia)

"Great I'll get going then see ya later," said Jax as he turned around to leave.

As he went to the door he had to walk by Paul and the other two customers, he was about to wave to him until he saw who he was with. He would recognize him anywhere.

Edward Cullen, he looked similar to Robert Pattison, in the movie,  yet at the same time, his features looked slightly different.

Next to him stood a woman calling her beautiful was an understatement, she gave Jax a familiar feeling yet he was sure he didn't know who she was.

She had the same pale skin and that Edward had so Jax could guess that she was also a 'vegetarian' vampire.

As Jax saw Paul, Edward, and the woman turn to look at him, his blood started boiling he had difficulty breathing, he lost focus as he heard a wolf howling so loud he barely heard Paul.

"Hey, brat you leaving already? What's wrong, you ok?" (Paul)

"Yeah, I'm fine, got to go through before my father gets worried." (Jax)

As he walked by to get to the door he failed to notice the woman jerking and looking away.

As Jax got out of the store it wasn't just his blood boiling but his whole body to the point, that it felt like torture.

He got home on his bike, it's a miracle that he didn't get into an accident, he nearly fell down on the front steps but somehow he got inside and upstairs onto his bed where he instantly fell asleep.

But he soon woke up in the middle of the night he felt like lava was flowing through his body, he fell off the bed to the floor as the pain started to get unbearable, even someone like him who had a ridiculously high pain tolerance due to his past life, even so, he had to muffle his screams by biting down on his own forearm before he knew it blood was starting to drip on the ground. He realized his teeth got a little sharper and soon the headache came back with a vengeance and he passed out.

Lucky for him his father wasn't home and didn't usually go to his room, like Bella said in the movie Charlie didn't hover.

While Jax had just gotten home and was suffering Edward was driving to the Cullen residence.

"Did you notice Edy?" (Edward)

"Yeah, we couldn't read his mind," the woman who Edward was with was Edythe Cullen.

The reason she felt familiar yet foreign to Jax was he had only heard about the gender-swapped book but didn't get to read it in his previous life, he couldn't have guessed that she existed in this world as Edward's biological sister.

"Edy, you ok? You've been weird since the moment that man left the store," said Edward with a frown.

"No way," Edythe denied it but she was thinking about the possibility.

She nodded and replied " Yep sounds interesting though", Vincent grinned because he loves history about the past and the world itself, "Anyway, what is the music all about?".

As she listened to the song, she was amazed at his hunger for history therefore his voice. Alexandria saw Vincent's face full of joy, she blushed as she continues to stare at her best friend.

"Ohh finally I memorized the song that comes from the band, good thing I search and memorize the lyrics. Good Lord, the timing was perfect". He said as he walking back and forth, Alexandria sweatdrops as she saw him walking around, " Alright Vincent you may sit down or else I will never talk to you again" she threatens him. Vincent looked at her, " Sorry Alexandria, please don't say that" he sheepishly scratch his hair, she giggled and playfully slap Vincent on the back. 

"Ouch did you really have to do that?" he said as he nursing his back, Alexandria chuckles then she gave another slap on the head, again Vincent nursing his head as he saw a beautiful smile on Alexandria's face. He felt his cheek getting hot, he turned around to avoid himself from blushing, seeing this, Alexandria giggled then she got up and stand before Vincent, she poked his head then give him a kiss, Vincent was shocked on what his best friend did. He saw her face looking at the other side, blushing as she avoiding eye contact on him. He grinned then he stands up leaning his face to Alexandria's ear, he whispered "오늘 시간있어?" (Translate: Hey, are you free today?), she answered "그래, 내일은 토요일인데 왜?" (Translated: Yes, tomorrow is Saturday though, why?), Vincent snickered and replied " 넷플릭스를보고 우리 집에서 야식을 먹을 수 있을까요?" (Translated: Maybe we could watch some Netflix and have some midnight snacks at my house?). Alexandria wholeheartedly laughs and stare at Vincent " I accept your offer, sir". She replied, Vincent, smiled he hand-kissing Alexandria, she was flattered as she saw Vincent kissing her hand. then an energetic smiled appeared on his face, "Ohh Vincent you don't know how much I love your smile" she thought to herself, admitted that she was already in love with him, she remembered that she was going to meet Angelica," Hey, Vincent dear, I forgot to mention you that I have to meet Angelica at our room, so anyway see ya later". She said and left, Vincent watching Alexandria's retreating form, then she finally left, he sat down and stare at the ceiling thinking on what happened earlier, the kiss on his forehead, telling to come at his home and most of all kissing her hand. He ruffled his hair then fixing it, he said to himself " Ohh Alexandria, you don't know how much I love you, your smile, your vanilla scent, your beautiful blonde hair, oh God, I wished I could tell you about my feelings for you". (He didn't know that Alexandria was listening at the corner of the room), as Alexandria heard Vincent's proclamation she could not help but blush harder to know that Vincent's proclamation, knowing he feels the same way as she is, then she heard a song.

After that, Vincent placed his guitar on the desk and walked towards the window, as the sun was setting Alexandria (listening on Vincent's song) she took a peek and saw Vincent's side view form, she gasped for what she saw. The view was beautiful, the color orange sky, his gray messy hair, his white skin. It was perfect little she did not know that John and Angelica were watching the whole thing using their telescope at the second building close to the music room.

the two snickered as they found themselves Vincent and Alexandria were kissing each other, yep it was so good to have blackmail.

'It's big rounded and beautiful, I couldn't resist,'
" you were absent-minded, and you are tall so  I couldn't help but slap the nearest place," Zako said taking advantage of being a kid.
"Ho, that case it would be my back slapped, not butt," Shen Xiu said as she grabbed his ear harder, who he is trying to fool. 
"It just was beautiful and I couldn't resist, " Zako said as his ear was about to get out.
"Shameless.." Shen Xiu said as she took her hand off. 
"No, I'm honest " Zako replied using healing magic on his ear. 
"Listen, Don't do it again...aa" Shen Xiu said as she held his shirt and got her face closer, she was scolding him.   but her expression changed seeing his yellow eyes looking deeply into her.

'Not now' Zako frowned as he went to the main yard. Who dares to interrupt a romantic moment.

Both of them went to the Main Yard of the Sacred family with some guards.

Eight Figures appeared from the heavens, one was a teen girl with a redhead, and the other was seven Boys, most of them are Gold rank. However, there is two who seemed to be Stronger. Both were in the peak of Legend Rank.
"Nei Li. What is the meaning of this " Shen Xiu said as she glared angrily at Nei Li with her red-brown eyes? 
"The meaning is simple, The Sacred family has betrayed the Glory City and collided with the Dark guild, So it must be executed completely, also you Zako has betrayed the trust of your family.  " Nei Li said, how much he waited for this moment, the moment he takes his revenge from every single member of the Sacred Family.
Shen Xiu was about to say something, yet Zako stopped her with his hand and stepped forward. 
"So you want to take a whole family, for betrayed of their patriarch" Zako glared coldly at him, it would be okay if he were just to take the dark guild off, but the sacred family has its innocent people.
"Hmph, sins like those are unforgivable " 
"Nei Li, Don't go far" Shen Xiu hands were covered with black flames. 
"Oh, In that case, the heavenly mark family have a Soul puppet blueprint and betrayed the whole humanity, I demand to execute every one of them for betraying the humanity" Zako said as he crossed his arm.

"You... You are the last one to talk about rightness, ...my family didn't escape that day" Nei Li glared back at him. 
Every one from Nei Li's friends was looking at him with a weird face, what escape and what that day.

"Hmph, It's useless to talk with you, I already know about you wanting to take vengeance of the snow wind family, that why you collided with the dark side, " Nei Li said as he heard and saw Zako with his eyes.

A strange voice woke Prometheus up. English, with a peculiar accent. Maybe french? In any case, it was weirdly echoing all around the room.

'I might have left youtube on auto play again... Jesus, what kind of horrors will show up on my home this time'

Yawning loudly, and hoping that his youtube main page wouldn't be flooded by weird videos about the secrets behind Elvis's death or (more likely, listening to the accent of the voice resounding in the room) some podcasts in french, the young man tried to get up. He tried to put his hands on the bed, using his arms as a lever to pull himself up. 

Left arm, ok. Right arm... '????'

"What the actual fuck?" a loud panicked scream surmounted the monotonous count of the french sounding voice in the background.

Prometheus looked around in shock, realizing that he wasn't in his bedroom. The walls were made of black wood and there weren't windows. The only piece of furniture was the bed he was in.

He tried to remember the last thing that happened before waking up in what seemed to be some sort of wooden cabin. 

'Oh...'

The strange man with golden eyes, the black ball of energy entering his chest, and now him waking up in a totally foreigner place. Even a fool would understand what was happening. 

'It happened again... this mean that this isn't my body...' 

Prometheus moved his gaze towards his left arm: brown, scrawny and full of nasty scars. This definitely wasn't the body that he was using before.

Maybe a normal person would have needed some time to digest the fact that the body he was in wasn't the one he was born into, but for Prometheus that was almost a nonexistent problem. He had only two real problems: his missing arm and the fact that he wouldn't be able to see his family ever again.

Why he wasn't that interested about the fact that he seemingly transmigrated into a new body? Simply because this wasn't his first rodeo. He called himself Prometheus because he liked it, but his birth name was Seven Illiria, one of the many princes of the omonimous Illiria Kingdom. Can you guess which one?  

Wrong. 

He was the Sixth Prince. Yeah, his first parents could be considered quite peculiar, if not completely insane.

When he died, killed by his own brother, he transmigrated to another planet: Earth, waking up in posses of the body of two years old Prometheus.

Earth was a very different place from that he grew in. For starter, cultivation wasn't possible. The energy concentration was too low. Not that he cared anyway: even in Illusory Thunder, the planet he came from, he couldn't cultivate because of a genetic defect. 

He also didn't care about being the third son of a poor family, in fact he preferred his life on Earth to that he had in the Illiria Kingdom. Nobody called him a cripple, his parents genuinely loved him, and his own brothers didn't try to murder him to get the girl that was creepily promised to him when he was only a child. 

He had a family, something that he never quite experienced in his first life. And now, they were all gone forever.

'Mom, Dad...little brothers' 

Prometheus eyes filled with tears, when he realizes that he would never again see those people that really loved him. 

'Damn you, how dare you send me back without my consent you self centered prick?' 

He sobbed, looking with watery eyes at the black screen that was showing what seemed to be some kind of character sheet. Only that the character in question was him.

'This is a System! Like those in novels and games...'

'Who's Sif?' thought Prometheus looking at the first line of the character sheet, containing the names he had in his first life and second life plus one he didn't recognize. 

The exact moment he though that, the screen before him vanished and a new one appeared. The french voice, that now Prometheus could tell that definitely wasn't youtube, read the new messages out loud.

After a moment of hesitation, Prometheus focused on the "yes". He gritted his teeth, preparing himself to the countless fleshes of information that would appear in his mind for hours. 

However, nothing happened for a while and when the young man finally opened his eyes to see if he really had activated the option, he realized that the screen in front of him was now showing a long text.

'Oh, this also works'

The text in question was obviously the life of Sif, a young man son of a local hunter. His life was pretty boring, nothing particular happened until a bandit group razed his home, Mora Village,  killing everyone who opposed them.

The bandit group was called Sons of Kaliah, and in their crazy assault they killed all Sif's family and heavily injured him. In the end Sif died from his wounds, even if the village elders tried to heal him with all that they got. 

Prometheus eyes began to burn with fiery rage. He had lost his Earth family and now even his third life's family was gone? Vengeance! Retribution!

"Character Sheet" He called out, his face darkening. 

As he imagined, the first screen that he saw appeared again. He studied the information on display, his eyes shining with a dangerous light. He didn't see anything that suggested that his body wasn't able to cultivate. 

"Totem? What's that?"

Thanks to the Beast Master System, Prometheus can bind any creature to his will and use their strength to fight and improve his cultivation base.

His journey will take him from being the son of a simple commoner hunter, to the greatest Beast Master ever existed.

Ah, did I told you that this isn't his first reincarnation? Yes, he has plenty of old enemies to take care of.

"It is the way of kings, We must return generosity ten times, and vengeance even more so." The undead king uttered as he gazed upon the people in his hall.
"And for now, let the coronation of Our Child commences!"
A loud fanfare and music echoed through the palace, unlike what should be in a joyous event such as a coronation, the music was bone-chilling, more like the chorus of hell. Yet for the Undead this was probably the only kind of music they would ever listen to. Or so they thought..
"Oh, starting the party without me, that ain't cool," spoke the voice of a well know, very famous, and pretty dangerous guy.
Nicholas, the Undeath God, appeared in the middle of the hall. Without a moment to waste, all undead and NPCs knelt down, including the Elven King, the Undead King, and even the Ice Queen. The only ones that remained standing were the players, Dave, and Balaam the oracle.
"Don't be like this, I'm just here for the fun of it," Nick joked and pulled out his guitar.
"Who the fuck is this guy?" Zhang Shi spoke, and to his words, the gazes of every undead bar the Undead God himself turned to him.
"You better not insult him here, buddy, and you could inspect him yourself," Dave smirked.
Zhang Shi remembered that he actually had an inspection skill and he didn't use it. And it was clear to Dave that he had just done so, as Zhang Shi took a couple of steps back, fear painted in his eyes.
It's not every now and then that a player gets to meet one of the Game's literal Gods. And Nick was not as simple as any other one. Proven truly so by his next words…
"Let's GET THIS PARTY STARTED!"
The moment he struck the strings on his guitar, beauties wearing spiked leather jackets and heavy white makeup appeared in the hall. Drummers, guitarists, and bassists all appeared with their musical instruments as a metal fest began.
The Undead around the palace began headbanging, soldiers turned to mobs, shouting to the music as Nick plucked the strings of his skull guitar, its sound making the whole of the Bone Palace shake from the vibrations.
Every undead moved to the beats, every undead roared and howled as the music sored. Bar the high tier ones, and the nobles as they had no idea what kind of music was this, nor had they ever heard of it. But at least they were smart and wise enough not to question the taste of a god.
Dave was left stupefied, not to mention the other players. How did the situation turn to this? Only Nick can change a coronation to a rock festival.
The music continued on for a long while until Nick was satisfied and smashed his guitar onto the ground, the skull-shaped guitar didn't break, yet the whole palace shook and a large portion of the floor caved in.
"Oh, I got carried away, I'll fix this later," Nick shrugged then turned to Dave.
"Kid, you came a long way."
"Yeah, no thanks to you," Dave snorted.
To his casual words, the Undead King's fists closed firm. "Kis' Shtiengbrah…" The Undead King utter the name.
Dave saw worry in the Undead King's eyes and also noticed his hand on the pommel of his night-black sword.
Dave smiled, this was a good king, he had feared that Undead God might be offended, and was willing to fight the Undead God for him.
Dave nodded at the Undead King to be at ease, then turned to Nick.
"Technically, it was all thanks to me, but I get it, you're still pissed about the Heart and all that crap, but that doesn't matter anymore, you got all you ever wanted right?" Nick said.
"What I want is not just this, Nick," Dave said. "I want everything," Dave said while spreading both arms.
"And so should one of the Undead Be, Your Unholiness, will you grace [Me] with your presence as [I] coronate [My] Childe?" the Undead King said.
"Of course, he is also my Champion."
"So be it, Childe, come and sit here," the Undead King pointed at the throne.
He lifted a brow up in question, that was the Undead King's throne, but the king's smile was a sign of acknowledgment and welcome. Dave nodded and followed the King's request.
Once he sat, everything turned somber. And all over conquest, a large screen popped up in the sky, showing the players what was going on in the hall.
Dave sitting on the Throne of the Undead King, and the latter moving toward him, his sword drawn.
"Today, We take you, Kis'Shtiengbrah, the Forlorn Hope of the Legion, into Our Arms. Today, you have proven yourself, not only part of Us but one of Us. For today, your bones and flesh, the rotten blood in your veins, has become one of Us. You have earned your seat, you have earned your place, and have earned your honor.
Childe, would you accept Us as your foster father?" the Undead King questioned.
"Without a hesitation," Dave replied.
"Then so be it, Childe, today Marks the day that you become Kis'Shtiengbrah of Arotsa. My Undead Heir. Prince of the Undead, Ruler of all Undead Once I am no longer here." The Undead King placed the sword on Dave's Right shoulder then on his left.
He then turned, raised his sword up then pointed it forward.
"Does anyone have an objection to what THIS KING HAS SPOKEN?!"
None dared move, or utter a word, they all knew that speaking was nothing short of suicide in this situation.
The Undead King dropped his sword, then pulled out a Signet Ring. He placed it in Dave's pinky finger, and surprisingly even if Dave had already four rings on his hands, the fifth ring, did not get unequipped.
"Then So it has become, and So it shall be. Arise, Undead Prince Kis' Shtiengbrah!" 
Dave stood up, and loud horns blew to warn the world of the birth of an Undead Prince.
From all over the World of Conquest, every creature, every human, and none human knew that the Undead Have now a new Prince. And this came with a huge calamitous surprise.

All Undead Will receive an increase in their attacking ability and defensive abilities of 20% permanently. 
All Undead Will drop more precious rewards.
The Undead Expansion has been set to open Once the Ash King is defeated.
Once the Undead Expansion is unlocked, all players will have the ability to transform to Undead.
Undead Personally Turned by Kis'Shtiengbrah will have a slight advantage over regularly turned players.

"Now that's pretty dope," Dave uttered.
"Son, We, shall ask for your aid in the raid upon the Ash King's dominion. Shall you lend it to us?"
"Of course, without a question, I want that guy dead the most," Dave said.
"Then so be it, We march against the Ash King Soon, be ready." The Undead King spoke, his words clear and loud so that the players will hear them.
This made them shake, the Undead King will be attacking the Ash King, and they have lost three Temples that could help them to aid the Ash King. The Only remaining Temple is the one that the Heaven Dawn guild owns. And if Dave really wanted, he could also bring it down.
The White Ghost was not going to let him, but if what happened to the Blood Ragers guild were to happen again, that large scale illusion will definitely cost them the Chalice.
White Ghost immediately issued a silent order to his guild members to assign players to rotate and cast Vow of Silence, this way if a spell is cast, they could at least have a warning and a fighting chance to protect the Chalice.
While White Ghost was busy with his antics, the whole of the Underworld Shook.
"Hooo," spoke Nick, an evil smile that could match Skelly's smile crept upon his face.
"What is going on?" Warlord Asked.
The Undead God kindly replied, "A couple of kids want to go out and play, I guess it's time you deal with that, kid."
Dave had no idea what Nick was talking about, but the Tengu flew right through the Royal Hall and knelt down in front of the audience.
Dave was surprised at how the Tengu looked now, he was broader in shoulders, higher in size and width, his black raven wings now had dark golden feathers. It was the Doom Knight Transformation that happened to him.
"Such insolence!" the Undead King spoke in a loud angry tone.
"For my Insolence!" the Tengu pulled out his Katana, and in one swift, merciless motion cut off his left arm.
"Impressive," The Undead King said. "You have not only severed the Flesh, but you also cut the Soul of your arm. If you had done any less, I would have had you erased."
Dave understood that what the Tengu had done was extremely overbearing. By cutting the soul of his arm, no magic can repair it, and it will be truly dead. Attaching it back will not change the fact that it is a dead arm. This made him both worried and frustrated as one of his Underlings will now be unable to fight to the best of his abilities.
"It is only a meager price to pay for my boldness, but I need to speak some words! This is a matter of utmost urgency!"
Dave walked forward to the Tengu and left him up to his feet.
"I dare not Stand in the presence of kings!" The Tengu Said.
"You stand with me," Dave turned to the Undead King, and the latter nodded giving him permission.
"What's going on?" Dave asked.
"My children, they are attempting to leave their Labyrinth, they need to be calmed down or god only knows what will happen."
"Oh, as a matter of fact, I'm a god, and I know what's going to happen if you let those two little hooligans out."
Dave frowned at Nick's choice of words; 'Hooligan' was the term Demiurge always called Nick by.
"They will start chaos here and take it up the outer world, you really don't want those two guys without a leech."
"Go, sort this matter, as for you, take your hand with you, Marik, take care of it. He rules over Soul magic and your arm is nothing to him. This is For our Childe has sided with you, and we always Side with our Childe."
"Thank you for your generosity, Dread Lord." The Tengu said.
Marik Smiled to the Tengu, the sac of potato looked really weird while he smiled Dave thought. Marik had no distinct shape, he looked like a bag that could absorb anything, yet he was still one of the Seven Abyssal Knights of the Legion.
Tendrils of blue ethereal magic burst out from the stump on the Tengu's arm and attached themselves to the limb on the ground, the two parts zapped back together and locked themselves perfectly and seamlessly.
The Tengu did a few hand signs and stretches, making sure everything was alright.
"Thank you," he said once more.
"Let's go, it's time to sort this, once and for all," Dave said as he equipped Durandal and Ajax. The two bolted out of the hall leaving the players and the rest of the invitees together, not fully knowing what was going on.

Cydnie sits down in her English class, but after the weekend the band had, it's difficult for her to pay attention. The teacher drones on about gerunds, but the only one on her mind is playing. Namely, playing for tens of thousands of screaming fans. Her duality festers, however, for while she dreams of shredding her guitar and screaming so loud her microphone gives out, she fears that with stardom, someone will want to destroy her life. She worries about the bullies from her childhood turning into tabloids.
"Hey Cyd," the tall, surfer-looking student sitting adjacent to her goads her back to reality. "Stella's in your band, right?"
"Uhh yeah, Taylor, why?" Cydnie inquires.
"I was wondering if you could pass this along for me?" Taylor requests before moving his hand to reveal a note.
Cydnie glances at their teacher to see if they've been noticed before turning back to him. " She didn't give you her number?"
"She had to get to the stage before I got the chance to ask."
"Alright, I'll get it to her." Cydnie agrees as he sneaks the folded note to her.

The clock ticks ever slowly as Damien slumps through Spanish. "I swear if I hear any more about grammar, I'm gonna blow my brains out," he mutters. Never one to care for his required languages, he's spending his time writing down lyrics in places of notes. A folded piece of paper makes its way across his notebook, meant for him. With the chemistry teacher's attention on the whiteboard, Damien balls a fist then pretends to crank it to extend his middle finger at Kate. In turn, Kate flips him the bird quickly before going back to her notes. As the bell rings, Damien is stopped by the teacher. "Mr. Stubbs, a word."
"Here we go," he grumbles just as he reaches the door. Damien leans on the frame, backpack hanging from one shoulder, ready to get his earful from the teacher. 'Whatcha need?"
"Just wanted to congratulate you on your performance at the bash this past Saturday."
"Oh, you were there?"
"School events have to be monitored by school staff, after all," the teacher explains. "Just remember to put that kind of effort into your schoolwork as well."
"I don't think it'll matter if we make it big," Damien mistakenly blurts.
"I remember being that young," the grizzled teacher reminisces. He sits down in his chair and pulls open a drawer to reveal a worn picture in a frame. He eyes it for a moment before handing it to Damien. He looks over it and realizes it's his teacher. He's playing bass, back against the back of a singer.
"What happened?"
"Nothing happened," he tells Damien. "People just get older. Their focuses change. I had fun, but I realized it wasn't what I wanted to be doing when I'm 60." Damien hands him back his picture and thinks about those words as he slowly leaves the room. Kate, however, is waiting patiently for him.
"Oh, can you please fuck off anywhere else?" Damien brings his backpack over both shoulders as he continues to lunch. Kate follows alongside him, clad in her cheerleader uniform.
"Oh, come on," she jeers. "We were such good friends growing up."
"Yeah, all it took to change that was another girl, so shallow."
"He is nothing short of a tragedy," Kate berates.
"Imagine how good of friends you two could be if you put this kind of headway into staying in your lane." The two reach the ground floor and pass Cydnie as she enters the main building from the fine arts building. "And look who it is, well this sure has been fun, but I have better people to talk to. Take care now, bye bye then." Kate sneers and takes her leave as the two make their way to lunch. 
"Thinking about joining the dark side?" Cydnie asks.
"And miss my shot at a guitar battle with you in Times Square?" Damien asks as he wraps a shoulder around his friend.
"Well, when you put it like that," Cydnie muses as the two laugh. "So what was that all about?" Damien and Cydnie enter the cafeterias and go to the main room to get in line as they see Eric and Victoria on another freshman date in a booth of their own.
	"Oh, just your number one fan trying to be club president again."
"Oh, so more 'he's trash' and 'when's he gonna stop' nonsense?" Cydnie grabs a tray as they reach the food.
"This time she said you suck at playing guitar," Damien remarks as he looks away from the raging inferno he sparked.
"Oh, I am gonna cut a bitch!" Cydnie starts. "I have more playing ability in my toe than she has in her body!"
"Humble one, aren't you?" Damien jests. "Look, it's just Kate. She's been your worst enemy since Washington. Are you really mad that the cheerleaders don't like you?"
"It's more than that, and you know it."
"Yes, the mystical Krystal, and when are you gonna shoot her a message again?"	Cydnie's shoot wide open.
"Crap, I forgot to give Stella that note during chorale!" she groans as they reach the register. She pulls it out along with her ID to pay for her food.
"Who still uses notes?" Damien asks as he scans his ID and the two leave to go find a place to sit.
"It's really kind of sweet, and he didn't get her number during the back to school bash." Cydnie eyes a table by the window and points it out. "Oh, there's one!"
"Aww man, a table? We can't get a booth?" he mutters.
"Hey, you know the rules: Booths are for couples."
[ERIC]

Eric and Victoria joke around about their classes. After a moment, while Eric takes a bite, Victoria grabs his free hand. "Whatcha thinking about?" he asks.
"Just... you," she says with a smile. Oblivious, Eric just gives her a big smile, giving her a laugh. "You know I love you."
"Yeah, I love you too," he tells her back.
"So... maybe we could push our relationship further."
"Oh... oh really?" Eric smirks back at her. 
[DAMIEN and CYDNIE]

Damien glances over at them and notices the change himself. "Uh oh," he mentions.
"What's up?" Cyd asks as she takes a bite of her food.
"Eric and Victoria."
"What about them?"
"They're being all lovey-dovey and gross."
"They're dating," Cydnie says. While Damien continues to watch, Cyd manages to steal one of his fries.
"Hey!" Damien steals a chicken tender off her tray in vengeance. "You keep that up, people gonna think I'm with you."
"Gross!" Cydnie laughs. "I'm eating here!" The two laugh as they watch Eric. "Still though, Eric and Victoria have been together for almost a year. Chances are Victoria is gonna want something special for their anniversary."
"Hm. Get it, E."
"Dude, gross!" Cydnie reaches over the table and bats his shoulder. "They're fourteen!"
"I'm just saying, if E gets it, good for him."
"Boys, I swear."
"And what's your excuse?"
"D, you corrupted me. The first time I was ever over at your house, we ended up watching your favorite scary movie because there were boobs."
"I recall you being just as excited, gay," Damien chides.
"I'll admit: boobs are awesome. That being said, I have my own now," Cydnie adds as she jokingly points at her chest.
"Ugh gross! Cyd boobs!" The two laugh again and finish their lunch. "Hey, you still need to give Stella that note, right? I can give it to her in history."
"Oh dude, thanks," Cyd hands Damien the note as the two join Eric and Victoria at the trash. "You fine kids have a good lunch?"
"Oh, the best," Eric jokes. "Was thinking about getting seconds."
"You're a braver man than I," Cydnie jokes.
"That's one way to say it!" All four laugh as they separate and walk to their respective classes.
[STELLA and DAMIEN]

Damien finds Stella in his next class toward the back. "Hey, Stella."
"Hm? What's up, Damien?" she asks.
"This is from Taylor," he says as he hands her the note.
"Oh. Thanks." Stella takes the note and reads through it while Damien gets his notebook out. "Aww, it's his phone number."
"It's a pandemic, I swear." Damien remarks as he leans back.
"What? Like there's no one you want to be with." Stella asks as she puts Taylor's number and sends him a text. Heya handsome.
Hey cutie Taylor texts back.
"Not saying that. Just saying it's difficult when the only feminine attention I'm getting is either you, Cyd, or Kate."
"I see the issue already."
"Right? There is this one girl I've seen eyeing me though. Name's Angie or something like that."
"Pembroke?"
"Yeah!" Damien exclaims as he turns around.
"I'd avoid that. From what I've heard, it's like throwing a hotdog down a hallway."
"Woof, nevermind."
"Just keep an eye out. Hell, I'm sure Cyd would even help. She is allowed in the girls' bathrooms here, she can listen in."
"I'm sure that just gets Kate right off." Stella laughs a bit too hard, causing the teacher to give the two a stern look.
"Sorry, Coach Shrike," they say in unison.
[AAR]

The band find themselves back in the garage one weekend in toward the end of September. They're practicing their next song, Breaking and Entering. After creating a beat for Damien to sing to, he spent a solid hour doing different takes. He does his umpteenth take, then comes out of the booth exhausted. "I just don't feel it like I did when I wrote it," he explains as he goes to the kitchen for tea. The other three groan. Stella slumps in her chair.
With irritation, she says, "He has done 20 takes now. What is it gonna take for him to okay this song?"
"I don't know, but I can't work on anything else until he gets it done," Cydnie says while she looks over the different tracks. Stella looks over the lyrics he wrote, realizing exactly what the song is about.
"Oh my god, that sneaky little shit," she remarks. Damien comes back into the garage and sits in his chair.
"Hey, I'm sorry I can't seem to get this song down, but I know I'm close," Damien apologizes as he rests his elbows on his knees. He notices Stella marking his notebook and gets a little confused. "What are you doing?"
Stella stands right up with a pen in her hand. "Shut up and get in the booth," she says as she opens the door. Damien furrows his brow and stands up. With the two inside, he finally looks over her additions.
"What did you do?" he asks.
"I turned your song into a duet," Stella explains. "I marked my lines in red, so just do what you did and when it gets to the red parts, I'll take my turn. Cyd, you listening?"
Cydnie gives the two a thumbs up. "Ready when you are!"
"Start the track," they say in unison. The opening begins and Stella sings the chorus with Damien following along in the verse. What started as Damien singing about his feelings toward relationships as a whole becomes a conversation between two bitter exes. It hits deep and hits very differently than before, but it is exactly what Damien wanted to explain. Damien finishes his chorus and Stella takes over for her verse. She sings in response to his first verse about how things aren't always black and white. She sings about her past hurt and stress in a love life and trusting others. As they do this, Cydnie thinks up a piercing solo to match the energy. They finish the song with singing the chorus together as if they're just yelling at each other. Once done, the two finally come out of the booth and Damien yells at Cydnie, "that is the track!"
"Deal," she says as Eric immediately runs in to record drums and Cydnie with guitar right over the lyrics.
"Are you guys really on this?" Stella asks.
"Yes!" the two yell back as Eric shuts the door and repositions the microphones. Breaking and Entering quickly becomes they're favorite song they've produced.
"Good, we're both up." Damien and Stella got up and went into the booth. They moved the microphones from the drum kit up to themselves. They signaled ready to go and Cydnie queued up an instrumental version of the song. The first time they came in late and had to start over. The second time they were flat. "Come on, guys, you can do this. Just remember when we played the talent show," Cydnie tried to encourage. With a hum and a look of determination Stella stepped away from her mic over to Damien's. "What's up?" he asked. "Play the song," Stella said with a thumbs up. Cydnie shrugged and pressed play and Damien came in right on time. Stella stood opposite him, sharing the mic as if they were arguing. Damien started to get into it and argued back his lines. By the time they were done, Cydnie was clapping from the board. "That was awesome guys!" she said. The two came out of the booth and Damien bowed. Stella elbowed him. "Alright, smartass," Stella said before turning back to Cydnie. "What do we have left to do?"

"What are we doing here?" Leanne asked while looking at their surroundings. 

"I just want reminisce how happy we were before" He said and casually smile but pain is visible in his eyes. They parked the car properly and he held her hand before going out. 

"Can I have a favor Lea?" Dustin asked while looking at her directly in the eye. "Can we pretend like everything is alright? Act the way we used to be? Even only for this day, I promise that I won't meddle your life and move on" He said using his angelic voice. 

She don't know what to do specially he has been such a great person before. Everything was like a fairytale, preparing for a happy ending but sadly, they are not meant for each other. 

Leanne nodded with the thought that her husband made her enter this situation and also, it is his will for them to enjoy the day. Why not try to make it worth it right? 

He smiled genuinely while looking at her. He walked out of the car and open the passenger seat door for her. 

The warm breeze touched her skin while remembering many memories they built in that place. Everything is so magical and she cherish those until now. 

"I miss you!" He said while gazing at the area. "Can I hold your hand? Just for this day" He said while acting like a child. She don't know why but the feelings they used to have came back. Leanne slightly nodded her head and that is the que for Dustin to make a move. He kissed the back of her palm while smiling ear to ear. 

He used to act like that whenever they are together. He always make her feel the prettiest, worthiest and the most lovable woman in the world. 

"I wish I could turn back time and didn't make a mistake. Maybe, we are still together until now" He said which made her thought that there is a high percentage that they might still be in a relationship until this day. And maybe, her life won't be miserable. 

"We should be happy for what we are now Dustin, and besides that is already in the past. We should move on and deal with our life in the present" 

"I wish that I never hurt you because I still love you Lea, until now my heart wants you" He said while forcing a smile. 

"We can still be friends" She said to make him comfortable. Cheating is such a crime but that moment should be left behind. Every person deserve second chances to change and she is willing to forgive him, the problem is only as a friend. Nothing more, Nothing less. 

"What if I want more than just a normal friend?" He asked in a serious tone while facing her. Leanne felt a little uneasy while looking his reaction but after a couple of seconds, he laughed and messed her hair. 

"I am just hoping for something impossible but who knows, maybe we are really destined" He jokes while raising his eyebrows repeatedly. She chuckled and walk passed him when he ran and tangled her in his arms. 

"Can we stay like this forever?" Dustin asked while tears keep on falling. He did something bad and this is the result of his impulsive action. The person he loves the most is already married to the man he wish he was.

He is infront of the resort where Leanne and Dustin go. The man didn't know that watching a love story sucks. He thought making her date him is his own will but he is wrong. He can clearly see right infront of him that Leanne really loves the decision he made. 

"I don't care! I shouldn't care" He said bitterly and drove his car away.

"What do you want?" Dustin asked while looking how gorgeous Leanne is in her beige dress. The color match her skin and she looks elegant. He admits that he really miss her, so much. 

"Anything!" She said then smile, temper couldn't control his feelings and hugged her. 

"Please be mine again, please choose me! I promise that I won't be the asshole person I used to be. I will change everything for you Lea, please come back to my life" He said repeatedly while his voice is trembling.They were so inlove before, like nothing can tear them apart but things got twisted and they need to continue their lives far from what they used to. 

"Our time is over, I am now married while you are a successful man. I can't mess up my present now" She whispered while trying to make him calm. 

"It's just because of money right? Lea, I can give you and your family a financial assistance. Just please, choose me instead. I will love you more than I used to before, I will treat you like my queen just please, accept me in your life again" He said which made her heart crack. 

"Yes indeed we are just married because of money but I got fund of being close to him to the point that I can't let Zeke go. I'm sorry but you should focus your feelings on someone who can love you back" She said which made his tear drop. 

They say that when your tear drops because of a woman, that only shows how special they are for you. He can say to himself that karma is indeed digital. Now that he is ready to make his life better, the person he wants to spend the rest of his life isn't available of having him back. 

Dustin looked at the sky which gives light to the whole place, trying to hold his tears from continuously falling. 

"What's important is this moment where there is you and me for the la --- last time" He said before holding her hand. Her heart felt comfortable because all of her grudges vanished. 

"Shall we cook?" He asked as they enter a wide kitchen located at the resort Dustin owned. She smiled while helping him prepare for their food. 

Both of them enjoyed the meal while laughing at the memories they once had in that place. "What do you want to do next?" He asked while keeping his smile alive even though deep inside, he wants to lock his self in a room and cry because of regret. 

"How about a movie marathon?" She asked which he immediately agreed. He went to the kitchen a cooked popcorn. 

People might've think that they will go on a fancy restaurant or trip to different expensive places but no, they rather spend their who day together and enjoy it by their own. 

Both of them are sitting on the couch while looking at the smart tv they are using. Tears started to fall from Leanne's eyes while watching what true love can conquer. 

Dustin held her cheeks and slowly wiped her tears away. "Stop crying, you know how much I hate seeing you cry" He said and gave a smack on her forehead. They finished the movie while their minds are floating in the air. 

"I'll sing for you Lea" Dustin said while holding his acoustic guitar. Every second feels like hell specially their time is running out. How he wish that time will stop and they will be stock in that place forever. 

Leanne smiled while looking at her ex-lover strumming the guitar. 

"I won't lie to you 

I know he's just not right for you

"I am not the one for you but you are the only one for me Lea. If he really deserve you --- I will let you go but always remember that once upon a time there is a jerk who loves a princess. He lost her because of his impulsive behavior but now, that jerk turned into a prince because he is missing her so bad. He wants to take her back even though the princess is no longer free because she became the queen of --- someone else" 

She was speechless while listening to him. A tear fell from her eyes while thinking how inlove they were before. 

After a couple of minutes, Dustin decided to drive her home and he managed to make her laugh until the end. 

"Zeke?" She said while looking at the sculpted body waiting for them outside. He didn't reply and pull Leanne out of the car. 

"Thank you for the time Lea!" Dustin said and messed Leanne's head but he tap it out and glare at him with vengeance. 

"What am I really for you, Zeke?"

A married life should be like a fantasy -- extravagantly beautiful and magical. That kind of love story isn't destined for them, one must let go for her lover's happiness. "I won't stop until you plead for freedom, I will do everything just for you to live like hell" he said as he held her hair tighter. Will she survive this misery? Her body is aching like Leanne's soaring heart. His darkness is slowly invading her as the truck hit her badly, silently she said while holding her stomach "Hold on my dearest baby, mommy will protect you"

Dear Diary, 
 
    I didn't write in my diary for more than a month. I'm too busy and I have no time for other unimportant things. I want to divert after what happened when we are on a vacation in South Korea.  
 
    D, my bestfriends died. They died. A mishap happened when we are going back to our hotel. A truck crashed into the taxi where we are in. I hit my head on the car's window and I tried to open the door when the car stopped moving, then I go out and suddenly collapsed. I have been unconscious for about a minute or more and the upper right side of my head is aching and bleeding. Rescuers came into our location, helped us to cure our wounds, and sent us to the hospital. 
 
    My bestfriends were in a critical condition. Their bodies were bleeding and there were many wounds. I was restless during those times. I also did not know what to do. I just sat on the side and gasped, letting myself to calm down. Noong una, hindi ako makainteract sa mga tao dahil hindi naman ako nakakaintindi ng Korean. Maswerte na nga lang at may mga doctor na nakapag-aral ng wikang ingles.  
 
    Tanging si Ate Laurel at ang iba ko pang chaperone ang walang sugat. Nasa likod kasi ng taxing sinasakyan namin sila.  
 
    My heart ached when I saw my friends lying in bed. I did not want this to happen. In that time, I started to get scared every moment I would be happy, because soon or later, something catastrophic will happen.  
 
    Inasikaso ako ng mga doctor at nagtanong tungkol sa kung anong nararamdaman ko, kung nakakapagsalita pa ba ako ng maayos, at iba pa. He said that I have Mild TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and that's because of the car accident. Hindi naman daw malala at isa iyong himala kaya madali akong makakarecover. Well, I am a strong person, so I was no longer shocked.  
 
    Minutes passed, biglang tumunog ang cardiac monitor. Bigla akong nataranta dahil hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin dahil wala pa akong alam sa medisina noong mga panahong iyon. I called the nurses and the doctors even though I was almost speechless.  
 
    But… 
 
    No one responded. They are all busy with their respective patients. No one wasted time saving my friends. 
 
    Hindi ko alam kung doctor ba talaga sila o nag-aactingan lang na doctor. May nag-aagaw buhay na pero hindi pa rin sila umaaksiyon. It is fucking unfair. 
 
    Then they both died because of cardiac arrest. I did nothing to help them, and I blame myself because of that. I cried, cried, and cried. It is the only thing to express my pain. 
 
    Back then, I was so impressed with the doctors. But since that day, I started to hate doctors. I decided to come back with my vengeance. Then a Filipino doctor talked to me, he apologized. He said that if he hadn't been in the surgery room, my friends might still be alive but we can't do nothing because it already happened. We can fight the future, but not the past. We can fight to change our destiny but we can't fight to change the past… 
 
    And all of the things in the past, will remain as memories. 
 
    I dumbfounded by all the things he said but the last line he whispered, made me realize something.  
 
    Pay back them with your skills, not with rage. 
 
    He left me speechless.  
 
    I decided to go back to Philippines in the next day. My friends' bodies were sent back to the Philippines.. Dito na sila sa Pinas inilibing.  
 
    Pagkauwi at pagkauwi ko sa Pilipinas ay nagkulong ako. Ibinabad ang sarili ko sa libro at nag-advance study. Magiging doctor ako, at hinding-hindi ko gagawin sa iba ang ginawa ng mga doctor na iyon sa mga kaibigan ko. Hindi ko hahayaang may mamatay dahil sa kapapabayaan. I'll be fair. I'll treat them not for money, but as justice in my beloved bestfriends' deaths. 
 
    Nakalimutan kong sabihin, limang araw ako nagpagaling mula sa mga sugat na natamo ko sa aksidente. Hindi ako umimik halos at bibihira lang kumain. Kagaya noong namatay ang pamilya ko.  
 
    I tried to learn how to play guitar. Nagpaturo ako kay Izar. Minamalas ako noong una dahil 'di ko talaga kaya, nahampas niya tuloy ako ng gitara. 
 
    I also studied medicine and because of that, I met another grandfather again. He is Daegio Fedor F. Corsetti, the Dean of Medicine of Espierro Hospital. He taught me many things about medicine. 
 
    Izar influenced me to drink alcohol. Walang linggo ang lumilipas na hindi ako umiinom ng alak. Hayst, kids nowadays… Some Filipino teenagers like me are already drinking alcohols. Well, iniingatan ko naman ang sarili ko. I drink more than 8 glasses of water a day. We have 70% of water in our body and it decreases everytime we sweat or do something. Doble ang pagbawas lalo na kapag may bisyo ka like pag-inom ng alak at paninigarilyo.  
 
    So ayun na nga, D. It is June 12. Independence day kaya walang pasok kahit Monday. Bukas ang first day of school at umaasa akong magiging maayos naman ito.  
 
    Our once upon a time never had a happily ever after.
