Okay so the Illustration is complete I updated the book cover on royalroad.com scribblehub.com and webnovel.com, I've also updated the synopsis to what is going to be on A m a z o n.
The illustrator delivered the illustration to me around 3 or 4 hours ago., so it was completed fairly recently.
It took me mmmm 7 or 8 tries maybe 9 before I was finally able to get kdp amazon to accept the illustration. I tried 6 or 7 times of those to get it to accept the pdf. In the end, it did not accept the pdf book cover, but I was able to make a workaround and submit the image through the cover creator by uploading the image and delete all text projected over the illustration by the cover creator and wallah only took a 2nd try to get it done after that.
This was for the paperback version mind you, no problems with the ebook on that front. Keep in mind I was just about to go too sleep when the illustrator contacted me and I only recently reverse my schedule back to somewhat normal. It was then that this whole fiasco started.
Now then, the ebook has passed review and is currently publishing which means their setting it up on their sites and apps for amazon, kindle and their various national variations.
The paperback is in review. Both the ebook and paperback should be released around or within 72 hours from what I've been told. I will also get an email when the ebook is published and maybe when the paperback is published not sure.
Next, I noticed when I was reposting the amazon version of the synopsis that the paperback's synopsis was lacking any spaces between sentences which is indeed an issue.
Now I would go ahead and edit the ebook and paperback just so they're more professional, but I tried that, it won't let me edit it right now and the button to do so are greyed out.
That said I do want to edit the synopsis of the two books so they're not a mess but I will have to wait, if they even allow editing of them after they've been published anymore. I know they used too.
I may or may not release another update when they've been published and or edited but for now you seem to have all the information and anymore may just be overbearing.
Also the paperback minimum price was 42 something odd dollars with no royalties, so I raised the price of the paperback to 50 dollars USD so that I can even make a profit off royalties, even with that each purchase of the paperback only gives me 4.25 dollars. The cost of printing is 25 something odd dollars per book, I guess amazon gets the rest and or put it into shipping costs???? Crazy right?
Anyway that's it have a wonderful night or day and I hope you buy a copy.

Jing Jiu grabbed the alarm through the space and squeezed it into pieces.
The ear-splitting sound of the alarm stopped abruptly.
He thought that this magic treasure must have been triggered when it sensed the sound of a stranger.
It seemed that the people in this world lived a rather anxious life.
Yet, judging from the large number of magic treasures in this regular residential house, the ware sects must have a high status here.
While thinking of all this, Jing Jiu walked into the bathroom, tossed the powder in his hand into the toilet, and then pressed the button to wash it down.
He had seen the girl use this object in the early morning and knew it was an automatic toilet. It was a curious item, but he didn't feel too sentimental about it because he was not to use it anyway.
Jing Jiu walked back into the living room. He adjusted the cushions on the chair and lay down more comfortably and began to watch TV while learning to speak the local language.
His pronunciation was a bit awkward in the beginning, but he grew more and more proficient as he practiced. In the meantime, he compared the pronunciation to the meaning he understood in his awareness and could pronounce the words more accurately.
The words were displayed on the TV screen. Though the words were similar to those in Chaotian, there was no way he could understand them.
Jing Jiu got up from the chair reluctantly and walked into another room.
The size of the room was small, three sides of which were lined with bookshelves extending all the way to the ceiling. The bookshelves were full of paperback books, making the room feel much smaller.
Standing in the middle of the room, one would have a strong sense of being squashed.
It was unclear why there were so many paperback books here.
Jing Jiu sat down on the floor with his legs crossed. He curled his finger slightly to make all the books on the shelves drift up in the air and move without the aid of the wind.
He and the Young Zen Master had used this method to read books at the Fruit Formation Temple; it was the most efficient way to read books.
Soon, he found he had made a mistake. It was because he couldn't understand the words in the books; it was useless no matter how fast he read them.
He chose two books that seemed to be simple to read. They might be the introductory books.
Later, he started reading other books.
The door and windows of the room were tightly closed to block the scenery on the street and the narrow corner of the universe.
The drifting books were automatically flipping pages in midair without the aid of the wind.
He was reading them thoroughly with his eyes closed and without the help of light.

These books were all very old; some of them looked yellowish and brittle, and were torn apart as they were turned over swiftly by the formless wind.

The twilight was a luxurious occasion for the street below.
The exchange between day and night were always so swift that the people were often ill prepared for it, especially when it was affected by the bright street lamps.
The girl with silvery hair walked into the apartment as the door was pushed open. She tossed the backpack onto the table casually while throwing herself into the long chair.
She had lain in the chair for a long time. As Jing Jiu thought she had fallen asleep, she got up and poured a cup of water for herself before she took the medicine and ate the supper. Then, she walked into that room and looked out at the small sky above the street after pulling the curtain aside, her eyes full of expectation.
After a long while, she pulled back her gaze and turned to leave when she suddenly saw a piece of paper underneath the bookshelf. She squatted down and picked it up, the expression on her face turning grave.
She ran her trembling fingers across the bookshelf. In the end, she found a book and opened it. A corner of one page in the book was torn off as expected.
It was tiring to study at the institute; it was also helpless and exhausting to live a lonely life. Seeing her most precious item damaged when she came back home, the girl with silvery hair could no longer stand it anymore. She started crying while holding her bent legs with both of her hands.
"Dad…Mom…Little Yellow One…I miss you guys so much. I'm a useless person…Why is this world so unfair?"
Standing behind her, Jing Jiu didn't let his shadow cast on her while listening to her relating her own sad story in a crying tone.
Her mother had died due to a problem with the gene modification when the girl with silvery hair was little. Her father was a professor at the New Era Institute who had been saving money for her future gene modification. After listening to the advice of someone who worked for an important figure, her father invested all of his savings in a mutual fund, even with some borrowed money. Unexpectedly, the commercial fleet guaranteed by the fund had encountered a horrible fight between a human swordsman and the Mother's Nest on their way back from their trading trip. More than thirty commercial ships and the goods turned into green smoke in the crossfire.
The fund broker had gone belly-up as a result. Her father owed the bank a large amount of debt and had no choice but to declare bankruptcy. They had moved to the street of lower class from the institute residence. Because of the insolvency, her father couldn't afford to pay for his beloved daughter's expensive gene modification of the third level. All he could do was watch her being gradually debilitated by the illness just like what had happened to her mother…The seemingly strong man was often very weak at that time; he opted to commit suicide. Perhaps, the professor thought that his daughter didn't need to take the responsibility for the debt after his death and that his daughter would live a relatively easier life. But he hadn't expected that what he did would have a terrible impact on her.
In addition to his death, the professor had left a roomful of paperback books and a cat for his daughter.
But the big yellow cat was dead also.

It only took a few days for Jing Jiu to learn the name of this girl with silvery hair, which was Zong Lizi, not to mention her life from the day of her birth up to now and a great deal of knowledge regarding this world.
This was a human world.
It was true that they were humans similar to those in Chaotian.
Many aspects of the two worlds were similar, be it their bodily structure, their way of thinking, the method of communication, affection and language.

This unity was called the "Human Federation of the Milky Way"; and he was currently on a planet called the "Stargate". The inside of this planet had been emptied many years ago, and it was an important base for the Federation.
There were more than ten human governments like the Stargate in the Human Federation of the Milky Way, with a female priest for each government. The main responsibility of the female priest was to inherit knowledge from ancient times.
It was rumored that the ancient knowledge stemmed from a distant ancient civilization a great many years ago. It was said that the distant ancient civilization was very advanced, which had created many magnificent structures in the universe. Unfortunately, it had encountered the most formidable foe in the universe, the Sea of Dark Matter, at the end of its era.
The distant ancient civilization and the Sea of Dark Matter had both vanished in a brutal war. The universe returned to its original tranquility.

Alright, boy-ohs and girlies, I've tried my best, I really have, but writing is way harder than I could have ever imagined. I'm at 216 chapter, 218 if you count *******, and about 90-95% of the story has been written without much consideration for outlining. A while ago, I started a wiki for the novel to try to keep track of everything and only now am I starting to understand the magnitude of the mistakes I've made writing up to this point.

Anyway, the announcement this time is to let you know that my writing pace hasn't simply slowed. I'm just taking the majority of my time chronicling everything that's happened and will happen and thinking up solutions to the problems that I've detected in the logic of the story; or plotholes. I'll probably take a while and until I'm confident in where the story will head, I'll continue putting out a depressingly low number of chapters every week.

It feels wrong to not say anything and even worse keeping my ******* collecting despite the obvious downgrade to my writing speed. So, despite my obvious bias in wanting to keep Patreons, I'd caution everyone supporting me to only continue doing so if you're fine with the current situation. Webnovel, Royalroad and my ******* all keep publishing dates on the chapters I release, so you can keep track of my writing speed by looking there; until you feel it's worth it, reconsider wasting your time or money during these unstable times. I probably should have made this announcement sooner, considering the downgrade to my writing speed has been around for a month's worth of time, so I apologize.

I'll be putting out chapters when I can, but the majority of my focus right now is revisiting already published chapters, touching them up and documenting whatever I can in the novel's wiki page. Anyone wondering where I'm at can check the wiki page and even contribute if they're bored enough. That is all for now~

UPDATE (December 29th, 2019)
Alright, I'm about to get really real and admit to being a really shitty author these last three to four months. Truth be told, I really did want to take time to update the wiki and figure out how to handle what I thought were this novel's biggest failings in plot holes. However, to do that and find details that might have only been mentioned in passing, I had to eventually turn to rereading entire chapters.

Guys... I'm being as sincere as I possibly can right now. I have no fucking clue how I've developed a following after rereading the first couple chapters. I understand that authors can grow a lot after a year, but it hasn't even been that long and I believe the first hundred chapters are Trash with a capital T. It's borderline unreadable (upon proofreading this tirade, this might be a mild exaggeration, but it is true to my thoughts nonetheless) and the fact that I have nearly 4,000 followers after combining the collections on Webnovel with those following on RoyalRoad is incomprehensible to me. There are still even 19 people supporting me on ******* when I haven't released squat in nearly two months!

I've tried to ignore this. I've tried to work on other books. Hell I've even messed around with fanfiction, hoping to one day wake up and see everyone gone. Like the book had never existed. But like I said, there are still 4,000 people waiting for releases. More joining by the day and people still supporting the novel with spirits stones. Even 19 who value two chapters being at least a dollar.

Every time I think I'm ready to move on, ready to completely shut down the novel to start a new one, I think about those people and realize, "I'm a fucking bitch. Just finish the fucking novel, idiot." The passing of time has only made the feeling worse, so I guess this is a message consigning myself to completing this book, by any means necessary. I won't be able to focus on another story otherwise, so this update is more for me than for my audience.

That being said, the reason I felt inclined to give up on the novel in the first place was because of how terrible I found my writing from a nearly a year ago. So, I want to stress that I'm not going chuck a bunch of shit together to finish the story. Rather, I'm going to go back and rewrite things as I continue to catalogue things on the wiki.

Last couple things I want to quickly mention:

- I haven't really used any of the money I've made on ******* so I want to commission a legit book cover. Ditch that shit I made with my lacking Photoshop Skills...

-More on the money thing, after I finish rewriting the novel — it'll mostly be editing details that make the book seem less like it was written by an amateur, so the story progression won't at all change — I plan on also hiring people to format Book 1 and eventually Book 2 into legit e-reader and paperback formats. I know, I know...

"Greedy author, have you no shame?" 

Honestly, I want to follow pirate aba's style of keeping everything free, and I will. I'm not going to enter a contract with Webnovel or paywall chapters through kindle. However, for the people who for whatever reason want to have a kindle or physical copy of this (current dumpster fire of a) novel, I want it to at least be possible. There's also the benefit of gaining new readers through Amazon this way which is always a plus. 

Like the G.O.A.T. pirate aba — check out her (I think it's a her) book The Wandering Inn — I'll keep all the chapters on Webnovel and Royalroad free. Though the ******* thing will still be in effect at least until I finish the series or whatever.

-Since I'm rewriting the novel for the most part, I'll make more announcements as I continue updating the novel; meaning adding on to the story (Chapter 219, 220, etc...)

Unless it becomes too annoying and people request against it, I'll be adding "Revised" to Chapters that have been, well... revised.

-I'm going to be having some polls on RoyalRoad on a couple important things as I start getting back into the grind of updating this novel.

Namely: Should I change the name of the novel? If so, to what? What would you guys like the book cover to look like? Should I change the name of the Books/Arcs?

Nine days passed since Fraser interrogated Elise. 

Since Fraser didn't get disturbed by anyone and didn't had the need to go out since he already understood the general information, he spent his entire day creating potions. 

He even started to read the Alchemist notes of another Apprentice which he traded in the trading session where he also got cheated by the little brother of Vira. 

Well, not reading. Instead, Fraser stored every data in his AI. 

The result of the notes was instant. 

The notes talked about an Alchemy process which involved the "incubation" of potions. 

Treating the glass flask as an egg while adding the potion material directly without needing to synthesize everything. 

Naturally, this "incubation" process had cons and pros. 

The pro for the "incubation" process was the fact that it was easy, allowed an experienced Alchemist to process thousands upon thousands of potions on the same day and the Alchemist would achieve a deeper understanding of Alchemist the more he used the process. 

The con for the "incubation" process was that something being easy is relative, as only Alchemist with a certain feeling would be able to use this procession and yes, an Alchemist would be able to create thousands upon thousands of potions on the same day. However, every potion needed time to "hatch" and thus complete the "incubation" process. 

Since Fraser had tons of materials, he naturally started experimenting with this new Alchemy procession called "incubation". 

To be honest, this new process was easier for Fraser than traditional Alchemy where one had to synthesize everything and extract certain things. 

With his AI he also had the ability to store certain feelings and memories of each experiment. 

So in the first batch of the new incubation experiment, on the first day after the day he interrogated Elise, he used one hundred flasks for every potion he could refine. 

Meaning basic explosion potion, basic wound mending potion, and basic strengthening potion. 

So Fraser used a different memory and feeling for every flask and numbered every flask from one to one hundred, naturally for every potion he used a different symbol marking the experimenting flasks. 

The result was utter garbage compared to his usual succeed rate. 

In the first batch of potions, only one of the basic explosion potions "hatched" and succeeded, the other 99 flasks all turned out to be "death" meaning they failed. 

From the basic wound mending potion and the basic strengthening potion none "hatched". 

Even though Fraser wasted thirty magic stones with a single experiment, he didn't felt bad. After all, he could always create seven to eight potions with the traditional method and sell them for more than thirty magic stones. 

Though thirty magic stones were not the real number after all one basic explosion potion succeeded and the magic stones can be used to buy fifty materials. Adding Fraser current situation, in the outpost people would trade more materials, sixty or even seventy for a single potion. 

In the second batch, meaning three days after the talk with Elise, Fraser could see a huge improvement in the success rate, especially in the basic explosion potion department. 

34 was the total amount of explosion potion successfully "hatched" from the incubation technique. 

Fraser mostly used the succeeding feeling and memory stored in the AI to replicate it, adding a few information and memories. 

Luckily Fraser succeeded in two of the incubation of the basic wound mending potion and one of the basic strengthening potion. 

The third and fourth batch of the experiment immediately allowed Fraser to see what the increase in knowledge caused him to achieve. 

The basic explosion potion reached a success rate of 64 of one hundred in the third batch and 98 of one hundred in the fourth batch. 

The basic wound mending potion reached a 17 in the third batch and a 58 in the fourth batch since the first successful incubation only occurred in the second batch. Same with the basic strengthening potion, though the third batch only reached 8 and the fourth reached 42. 

The incubation time for every potion was two days, meaning that when the fourth batch finished, nine-day passed since Fraser interrogated Elise for the noble families. 

On the first day after the interrogation, he started his first batch, the third day after that he started the second, on the fifth day he started the third and on the seventh day he started the fourth and on the ninth day the experiment resulted in overall success. 

With such a snowballing success rate Fraser naturally started the fifth batch of the three potions with one hundred flasks. 

With each gesture of pouring water, a single drop of water mixed with something unknown dripped into the flasks. 

Fraser held his Alchemy Set which was in the shape of a disk and poured a single drop of water into the flasks which were filled with one material each and a small cup of water. 

He connected his spirit towards the Alchemy set and formed the feeling which resulted in a little bit of spirit mixing with the water that was on top of the Alchemy Set and dripped down into the flask. 

Since he used up a few materials, Fraser had to go out after he started his incubation process on the three hundred potions. 

Three of his eight servants carried wooden crates filled with glass flasks that contained liquids of the three different potions. 

The other five of his servants formed a protective formation, surrounding him and the three servants carrying the wooden crates. 

Just as Fraser wanted to departure, he thought of an option where he could trade for more materials. After all, even if the inner circle of Magus Sept could gather materials for the potions, most of them traded their potions for corpses and only a few put really useful stuff up for trade. 

The insect in the cave bear could be regarded as a blessing disguised as a curse that also had a few attributes of a curse and changes that might not be pleasant. 

The Alchemy notes, on the other hand, was absolutely amazing, the ancient potion recipe he traded couldn't be deciphered as it was written with an unknown ancient language. 

Maybe the ancient recipe he traded wasn't even a recipe and only an ancient shopping list, but as Fraser wanted to see the generosity of the seniors he traded for everything, as long as it wasn't too expensive. 

But now, Fraser only wanted Notes or Books on Alchemy and Materials for the potions. 

After all, he had almost everything he needed right now and hopefully after the monster tide in the howling abyss ended, he would return to the academy and trade for more valuable courses and lessons. 

Most good lessons would cost one hundred magic stones or more, lessons with an entrance fee of ten magic stones would often have one thousand or more apprentices. 

Since a single lesson would only take place for one or two hours, Fraser needed to save up tons of magic stones if he wanted to attend these lessons every single day without having to create potions between them. 

Besides, having too many magic stones wouldn't be a burden for Fraser since he could buy more knowledge with the magic stones and more knowledge would mean more options for him.

Someone transmigrated into the body of a noble that was on his way to become a Magi. His only keepsake, an AI-Chip that had the ability to calculate and store information. Thus, follow the journey of Fraser Rosethorn.
