I could feel the cold floor underneath me as I woke up from a deep sleep.

After I sat up, my eyes focused with the drowsiness of sleep leaving me, I could see stone walls and stone paved floors all-around me, the only light to let me see was from the red glowing stones mounted on the stone walls.

"Where am I?"

I put my hand out in front of myself to get up and I saw that my hands were completely without skin and flesh, it was just bone. My first thought was ... 'how are my bones were being held together?'.

I looked closer at my hand to see that it wasn't just my hand that was without flesh, even when I looked down onto my body I saw that it to was without meat as well.

I looked around again to make sure I was safe, both sides of the corridor I was in were clear, after being reassured that no one would show up without me being prepared, I felt my face to see if it too was just bone.

My bony fingers hit bone when I felt my face, I was sure of it then ... I have reincarnated into a skeleton monster, most likely in a different world as well.

"How can I see without eyeballs? And I can hear my own voice as well, but I don't have any vocal cords ... I'm also wondering how I can feel that I have no flesh on my face if I don't even have any skin on my hands to sense touch?"

"Lets forget about that for now and concentrate on finding out where I am." He said as he tried to stand up from the ground, but he failed to stand, falling back to the floor with a heavy thud.

He looked down to find that his left leg had popped out of his hip socket without his realising.

"What the... I don't even feel any pain, I wonder if I can reattach it." He then picked up the dropped leg and then fixed the leg back into it's place with a well practiced motion as if he had done this many times before.

When he tried to stand again the leg worked just fine, even when he put more pressure on it.

"Lets try this again to see if I can make use of it."

He suddenly ripped his right arm out of his socket using his left arm, "Even this doesn't hurt." He then put the arm right back into its socket and waved his now reattach arm to see if it could still work as normal.

"Ding ... You have obtained the Title: Bone Doctor."

"Huh, where is this voice coming from... it said I have obtained a Title, like in a RPG, what's this new Title do then?"

His master had told him that the book will help him with his journey.

The book with the dark shiny cover was already making the dark surrounding even shadier gave out a golden radiance as soon as it was opened.
Just like before the first page had two words on it.
"Heaven's Tomb."
Zhao Luo read the words. 
He pondered over these words before going to the next page eager to know the content of this Godly book.
'Flip'
Zhao Luo flipped the page. 
The eager Zhao Luo was shocked after seeing the content of the page.
He stared as hard as he could but for that time frame, after he had turned the page, this page was empty just a simple blank golden paper with nothing written on it.
'Did the old man scam me?'
Zhao Luo thought.
As he couldn't find anything on the page he was going to close the book but right while he was closing it, words started to appear on the page.
The words appeared on the whole page at the same time as if they were submerged in the page before and were coming up now. 
Zhao Luo started reading from the top.
A grand title was left on this page. 
"KNOWLEDGE"
Zhao Luo read the title and an unknowing smile could be seen on his face.
He thought about what kind of knowledge he will be getting as the book was a compilation of the experiences of ancient Gods from the old man's World.
Zhao Luo started reading the page and right from the start he was immersed in it.
The book started with the introduction of a God explaining their powers.
What is a God? 
A being who is all powerful and supreme.
 Not just super powerful but also with different abilities. 
An ability that they had which was unbalanced according to Zhao Luo who had already read it.
It was the power to bring a summoned apparition, which Zhao Luo was able to do, from their mind to life.
They could be brought as physical bodies with just a command.
That summoned apparition would have a solid form. The shape will be as the God that is summoning it would imagine it to be.
The book called this summon a 'Bandit'.
Zhao Luo stopped at this point as this was the last line of the page.
'Interesting'
Zhao Luo thought.
'Maybe I will be able to summon a lion bandit.'
Zhao Luo wondered. Then he went on to read the next page.
But before he could even turn the page, the words on the current page once again disappeared leaving Zhao Luo in shock again.
He had never read a book that had words appear on a blank page. And the page turning blank again once he was done reading those words. 
Like why can't the words stay there from the start and not disappear once he is done reading them?
Then new words appeared on the same page. 
This time they appeared faster than before. Zhao Luo was already getting used to this so he didn't go in a state of shock.
Zhao Luo starting reading again.
To his surprise, the title was still the same.
"Again 'KNOWLEDGE'. This must be a continuation to the ability of Gods."

Starting from trash, wood, iron, bronze, silver, gold, platinum, diamond, and jadeite.
"Did I read it right?"
Zhao Luo was wondering if he saw it wrong after reading the qualities of the boundary. 
He didn't think that there was a quality level of boundary named 'trash'.
'How lucky one has to be to have the trash quality boundary?'
Zhao Luo had a thought.
Zhao Luo continued.
The summoned 'bandit' had nine levels too.
When the quality of the boundary is upgraded to the next level the summoned bandit will be that level too.
The lowest of the summoned bandit would be a 'trash bandit'.

The bandit would then be a 'crimson bandit'.
The quality of the boundary was easily detected. 
The name reflected the appearance of the boundary. A gold boundary would have gold shine. A diamond boundary would be giving a brilliant blinding shine of light with fiery color. The same goes for other boundaries.
Only the trash quality boundary would have no color yet the presence of that God's boundary could be easily felt. 
That is, the boundary would be present yet missing out on any outstanding feature.
Thus the book decided to call such a God a trash level God. As God didn't train himself faithfully in his journey to becoming one.
"So one can still be trash after becoming a God. The hierarchy is still the same even if one becomes a God."
Zhao Luo chuckled but also felt fearful as he may become the one he is laughing on.
The words ended at the explanation of 'trash' quality.

The shine from the words calmed the excited Zhao Luo.

Now Zhao Luo thought of himself as he was already on one of the ways.

It may have been frustrating at times but it wasn't that hard for him. 
'Maybe my method is one of the weaker ones.'
Zhao Luo thought and compared his method to one of the weaker ways just because he achieved the first step easily. 
'Well, I will know soon.'
Zhao Luo didn't dwell on his thought about his way for too long and continued reading.
The next line was on the weaker ways. It explained in such a way that Zhao Luo knew that he was far from the weaker ways. Too far ahead. 
As the next line's explanation was on how the weaker ways focus on getting to Godhood by achieving the requirements for becoming a God through the fastest ways.
This would help the guy in becoming the God in the shortest possible time yet after becoming the God, his power will be weak. He may even end up with the lowest quality boundary which was a 'trash boundary'.
The example given for this way was that the person will be ale to create a single apparition after mastering the Naoli.
Whereas Zhao Luo was already able to create nine of them.
The harder the way was the longer it took to achieve each requirement on the path to Godhood. 
Yet the result was opposite to the easy way. 
The power a person will have once he becomes a God through this way will be immense and their initial boundaries will have one of the superior qualities. 
The line ended here leaving Zhao Luo eager to know about the difficulty of his way to Godhood.

The young man slowly opened his tired eyes his vision still blurry he rapidly blinks to wash away the fatigue.

'Must have fell asleep while playing the game... damn it.'

He thought to himself thinking back to his previous whereabouts.

His sight finally clearing up after rubbing his eyes he blinks once more before opening his eyes to see unfamiliar surroundings.

Scanning the room left and right he sees a sight straight from a medieval period in the way the room is setup; a large oak bed, thick wood table and a bookshelf.

Everything in the room was thick with dust with the exception of a single blue hardcover book that looks out of place compared to the books on the bookshelf opposite him, unlike their leather covers, this book looks like it was made with modern technology also being much thinner than the room's standard brick shaped books.

'This obviously isn't my room. Where am I?'
He thinks to himself.

Since this place looks as if nobody had lived here for a long time he easily pulls together the courage to explore his surroundings.

While attempting to sit up he noticed something... his hands were strangely small as he placed them on the floor to push himself up. When standing up to his full height he notices another thing, that he is also strangely short, everything in the room being quite tall. His mental notes all come together.

The young man realised he was more of a young boy than a young man.

'This isn't my old body... I must be younger by at least a decade.'

The red stain then begins to fade back to the normal white background of the page.

"What just happened? That felt like a knife cutting me..." He exclaimed aloud.

After saying that he notices something black on the page moving.

"That's... writing?... some sentence is being written on the page by itself! is this Harry Potter!?"

They believe that this is the responsibility of the website staff, and that only the website staff can help design and beautiful their novel's page.

What authors don't realize is that no matter what website you post your novel at, you as an author can modify quite a lot about your novel's appearance. These factors are quite influential in the success or failure of your novel. Since improving your novel's surface appearance is vastly easier than improving the content of your novel, it could be said that this is especially important as well as efficient.

As for the surface appearance of your novel, it can be categorized into the seven types below.

1. Your novel's title

In your packaging, one of the most important elements is your novel's title. For any novel, in most normal circumstances, the reader will find out your novel's title before any other information about it. The title is the most important factor in whether a reader chooses to click on it and read your synopsis or not. It also helps the readers to understand the most important elements of your novel. And so, there's no need for me to speak any further about the importance of your novel's title.

In that case, what type of a novel title is a good one? I believe that a good novel title should accomplish the following points.

（1） Simple

Simple here refers to using easy to understand words that even elementary school students can recognize, rather than using some highly esoteric or difficult words that few people can read in order to sound fancy.

（2） Only English words in the title

Don't use a title with words from other languages. Nor should you have numbers, punctuation, or individual letters in your novel's title. This will make your novel title look more professional as well as make it easier for readers to search for your novel.

（3） Easy to read and remember

Perhaps "easy to remember" will make some authors confused, but actually, it's connected to being easy to read. A good novel title should flow quite well when people try reading it out loud. That's why you shouldn't use words that are difficult to pronounce. Otherwise, if readers can't even remember the title of your novel, how are they possibly supposed to remember your story?

（4） Not too long

This is also an issue about readability. If your novel's title is overly long, it's not easy for readers to search for it or remember the name. Normally speaking, the average book's title has around two to six words in it.

About the length of your novel's title, there's something else that needs to be noted. Amongst authors, there's a saying that the shorter your novel's title is, the better, because this helps your novel to be ranked farther in the front. In a way, this is correct, because many websites often put the novels with the shorter titles first when giving recommended reads on the front page, so the titles that are shorter will naturally be at the forefront. However, this alone shouldn't make us conclude that a shorter title is always better.

The influence of a novel's title has so many factors involved, and being on the recommended list is only a tiny portion. If you can have a better position on the recommended list, of course, that's a good thing, but if you choose a shorter title just for this, then you'll definitely lose more than you gain. Besides, even if you have a really short novel title, can you guarantee that there are other recommended novels out there that don't have equally short names? What if you're in the middle? Honestly speaking, there's no real difference in being at the left or in the middle of the recommended novels section.

（5） Not esoteric

When choosing your novel's title, it should be just like writing your novel. You should consider your general audience. And since you're writing a webnovel, your general audience would obviously prefer to read words in an easy to understand manner. If your novel title is overly esoteric or poetic, or sounds too philosophical, then your novel's popularity will be greatly affected. The majority of readers probably won't even click on your novel to read the synopsis.

（6） Appropriate bandwagoning
From a certain standpoint, bandwagoning can be advantageous. For example, since "Library of Heaven's Path" is a highly popular novel, perhaps you could write a book titled "Library of Hell's Path," which will naturally bring your novel some attention.

However, it's obvious that this actually isn't so much of a good thing for either the readers or the website, so it's quite easy for your novel to become suppressed if you bandwagon too much. For instance, if you really do call your novel "Library of Hell's Path," then it'll be quite difficult for you to receive a recommendation on the front page because it'll be too similar to the popular "Library of Heaven's Path." Not only that, there are also disadvantages for the author, because using such a copycat name will make some readers displeased as well, making it harder to attract some readers.

And so, that's why newcomer authors should only bandwagon appropriately and observe what type of novel titles are the most popular. Then, you should create your own original title that's similar in spirit but not in style.

（7） Express the uniqueness of your novel

A good novel title should express the uniqueness of your novel. The best-case scenario would be that your title expresses the main wish-fulfillment point of your novel. For example, a novel named "Returning to the Yuan Dynasty" can already tell you the two major information points that this novel is about returning to the past and historical fiction. Or, the famous franchise "Spiderman" tells you simply from the title that the story is about someone with spider-based abilities as well as being a superhero story.

2. Choosing your genre to categorize your novel as

After choosing your novel's title, you should choose the specific genre your novel belongs to. Actually, perhaps it's not quite appropriate to use the word "choose" here, because the genre is really decided by the content of your story, not what you as an author choose.

About choosing your genre, the most important, and basically the only rule there is, is to "never do false advertising." That's because the end result of false advertising will be bad for everyone.

For example, even though you're clearly writing a novel about mystical abilities in a modern-day setting, you placed your novel into the alternate history genre. This way, readers that enjoy alternate history novels will happily start reading your novel but will leave disappointed, while readers that enjoy modern novels with mystical abilities won't even be able to find your novel by genre.

For most novels, it won't be difficult to classify its genre at all. However, there are some novels that have elements from multiple genre types. Perhaps your novel is both modern as well as xianxia, with science fiction and military added as well, and even fantasy. This doesn't mean that your story is bad, however, this type of story will often confuse the author. Just what overall genre should the author classify such a story under?

First of all, what you should consider is the matter of which story elements are truly the most important. This is the foundational issue at hand.

However, if you as an author really feel like all the elements are equally important, then you'll just have to make a decision and choose one genre on your own. There are two factors you should consider here. First is that popular genres will have more readers, and the second is that less popular genres will have fewer novels and thus less competition.

These two factors are a matter of not being able to have your cake and eat it too. For newcomer authors, you can choose a genre based on your own confidence in your novel's ability. But normally speaking, it's more recommended to choose a less popular genre to categorize your novel as.

All of the same could be said for your story's synopsis as well. Make sure that your story's synopsis matches the genre that it's supposed to be under.
