this is a collection of some of my poems. some of the poems are about love, life, unrequited love, sorrow, loneliness, and more. I hope you can enjoy of my collection of poems and I hope I can transmit the emotions that the poems are supposed to give.

Just some poems I wrote because poems help us heal. And vent.

Yes this is a book full of poems.

A book of poems that I made for fun. Each poem is different so if you dislike one then just know there are many different types. The newest poems are better then the older poems.

Li Xiao Bai's expectations were not disappointed.
After his recital, three more people stepped up.
One was a strong man wearing a golden mask, he was shining in a glaring golden light.
There was an old man wearing a cone hat, he was holding a cane as a green light moved around him.
There was also a woman, she had a slim body and wore a pink dress, her face was covered by a veil, after her recital, butterflies flew around her, it was a beautiful sight.
These three had created famed poems on the same level as Li Xiao Bai's moonlit night.
Li Xiao Bai let out a sigh of relief: "This world has Gu worms to assist with poem creation. Gu Masters are also able to extend their lifespan and gain more experience in life. Thus, famed poems are more likely to appear than on Earth."
On Earth, moonlit night was a rare creation. But in Profound Literature grotto-heaven, it would not be unmatched.
Including Li Xiao Bai, the four of them had their own territory as they looked at each other.
The strong man, old man, and woman placed their gazes on Li Xiao Bai.
They knew each other, they had some sort of understanding towards their works, but Li Xiao Bai was a newcomer.
"Who is this young man?"
"His talent qi is not dense, how can he create such a famed poem?"
"Hehe, interesting guy."
Li Xiao Bai's teacher, Teacher Jiang, also saw his student's performance. He nodded in satisfaction: "Very good, Li Xiao Bai, it seems you are performing well today. Continue working hard."
In the end, no accidents happened, Li Xiao Bai moved to the next round and was teleported away.
After he regained his senses, he arrived in another arena.
"This is the fifth round, scholars, please wait patiently." Li Xiao Bai heard a voice in his mind.
Li Xiao Bai understood at once: "So the advancement has differences as well. The poem I made is enough to pass three rounds and directly reach the fifth round."
"This is quite a logical rule."
"But this means that the Gu Masters who reached this round are all people who created famed poems. Only half of these people can pass, the pressure has intensified now."

It was the strong man and the woman from earlier.

In the fifth round, there was only the three of them now.

When scholars made poems, they had to think with all their effort, but he only had to select a suitable poem for his use. This was too easy, he had to conceal the fact.
After waiting for several minutes in the fifth round arena, the second competition began.
He had more than twenty competitors, Li Xiao Bai felt a certain level of pressure in his heart.
The theme of the second competition was out — Travel, the time limit was the same as before.
"Travel? This question is the same as spring, it is so broad and easy to write, but creating a famed poem will be very hard!" The strong man sighed to himself.
The woman was thinking: "I am not well versed in this, what should I do?"
Li Xiao Bai was also contemplating: "Which poem do I copy?"

After a few minutes, some scholars already created their poems. After that, a few more started to recite their poems, colorful lights appeared.
Li Xiao Bai sighed to himself, thinking: "It seems that famed poems are not easy to create, these people did well in the first round but currently, they are only performing at an average level."
Li Xiao Bai soon had an idea of the situation but he did not start working, he was still waiting.
As the time limit was about to be up, he finally saw some famed poems.
One from the strong man.
He recited a poem with great battle intent, resembling the march of horses and spears, his entire body was flickering with golden light, one could hear the clash of spears and blades.
The second famed poem came from the woman.
She created a gentle poem, describing a young lady looking outside her room's window, listening to the stories of travelers outside, imagining her own travel journey, it was quite impressive.
"Alright, it is my turn now." Li Xiao Bai coughed as he recited:
Date flowers fall on the villagers' clothes, 
The sound of reeling carts heard from every household, 
Old men dressed in simple clothes sell cucumbers under the willow tree. 
Feeling drunk and drowsy from the long journey, 
The bright sun makes my throat dry, I thirst for a refreshing drink, 
I knock on the door of a mortal house, hoping to request for some tea.
He had copied Su Shi's Silk-washing Stream.
After the recital, be it the strong man or the woman, they were evidently moved as they analyzed the poem.
"Good poem! This poem starts with description of the scenery and actions at the back, with the fusion of both, one can feel interested in the event."
"Even though he is writing about a scenery, he uses his voice to create an image, compared to normal descriptions, this is very vivid. The emotional part is also very interesting. This kid might be a Gu Master but he is very polite and courteous, he does not barge into a mortal's house, he is truly a gentleman and has incomparable elegance."
"Reading his poem shows his nature. This young scholar is really promising!"
The surrounding scholars looked at Li Xiao Bai with a different gaze now.
Li Xiao Bai let out a breath of air, pretending that he was extremely exhausted.
"After this round, I should be able to advance. Not just that, my performance was really good, I did not gain too much attention but I also did not show inability."
Li Xiao Bai was quite satisfied with himself, after waiting for a while, the time limit was up.
He became stunned.
Most scholars failed to create a poem.
"This is the world poetry competition, I need to display my best abilities. If I use any inferior work, it will be too shameful."
"I did my best but could not create a satisfactory poem, even if I fail, I will not regret it!"
"This trip was worth my time, I got to hear three famed poems."

Those scholars that did not create a poem left in a carefree manner, while those scholars who made inferior poems showed shameful expressions.
Li Xiao Bai was calm on the outside but internally flummoxed: "How can you guys act so graciously?"
Even though he advanced, he had gained too much attention again. Earlier, he was quite satisfied with the situation, but to think these scholars would be so useless.
"Hmph, I had overestimated them." Li Xiao Bai thought.
There was nothing to say, he successfully advanced to the ninth round.
After patiently waiting for a while, the people gathered. This time, there was less than ten of them.
Many of them were famous scholars, they knew each other and greeted politely, they were calm and elegant on the outside, but were all feeling nervous internally.
At this point, the pressure of these competitors intensified again.
"I need to be stable, I cannot create a commotion again!" Li Xiao Bai clenched his fists, he kept reminding himself.
But this time, his opponents all performed well, more than half of the Gu Masters created famed poems.
Li Xiao Bai was the last one left.
Li Xiao Bai had a nervous expression but he was calm internally, he recited the poem that he had already prepared in advance.
With some flickering light, his cultivation level rose to rank four, he gained a new Gu worm.
This time, he planned meticulously, the poem he created was just borderline in the middle, he managed to advance successfully but he was at the bottom of the batch.
Right when Li Xiao Bai was feeling happy.
Cough!
Someone coughed out a mouthful of blood.
Ugh.
Someone fainted on the ground.
The strong man shook as he sat down with difficulty. The woman coughed for a long time with a pale expression.
Only Li Xiao Bai was left standing on the spot, unaffected.
At once, everyone's gazes were on him again.
"This young man is very strong! Currently speaking, he has already created three famed poems."
"He did not get injured at all, it seems that he had not gone all out when he made his poem earlier."
"Impressive! After this competition, I need to befriend him!"
Li Xiao Bai: "…"
He was speechless.
Oh heavens, why did everyone overexert themselves?!
Wasn't it just a poem competition, why were they risking their lives?
He wanted to pretend to cough blood too but it was too late now, he could not disguise himself anymore.
Li Xiao Bai had to continue moving to the next round with a plain expression.

Gu is a legendary venomous insect, often used in black magic practices. It can take on the form of several insects, usually snakes, crickets, worms etc.
* = one's world view, values of worth and philosophy on life 


Should I plagiarize? Make something up? Pretend to faint?
These thoughts flashed in Chu Yu's head at that moment.
Plagiarism would be the easiest, fastest and most substantial way. It was over 1,000 years ago now, which was the time of the blossoming of poems before the Tang Dynasty. She could use all of the Tang poems that she remembered and nobody would come after her for the copyrights now.
Chu Yu did think of that when she was studying poetry at the last minute earlier. She even considered it carefully in her head as she excluded the poems with backstories and those that did not suit the current trend. She was left with seven to eight poems, which was enough for her to fake it.
However, she hesitated now that she was really going to do it.
The reason being most of the poems that Chu Yu remembered were her favorites since she respected the poets who wrote those poems. She felt guilty for claiming their creations just like that.
The second solution would be to make things up, which would mean she would have to come up with whatever was in her head and present it. This would be an absolute dead end. Her diction that was not on par aside, her lack of knowledge in intonation and the sound of words would confuse the people.
The third solution was even more shameless than the previous two, which was to slump on the ground shamelessly. She would pretend to be sick and nauseous, allowing her to escape this pickle that she was in. Embarrassing or not aside, if she were to carry this out, she might be sent away from the mountain.
Chu Yu's expression was serious as she was arguing about the pros and cons in her head while she held the wine vessel motionlessly. Suddenly, she felt someone pulling her sleeve. It was Liu Sang. He reminded her softly while holding his head low, "Princ-…"
As soon as he spoke, he corrected himself immediately upon realizing how Chu Yu had been introducing herself to the people. "Cousin Zi Chu, they're waiting for you."
While he was tugging Chu Yu's sleeve with one hand, he slipped the other hand into her sleeve and scrawled the back of her hand with his fingertip slowly. Chu Yu felt it carefully and realized it was the word 止 (zhi).
Zhi? Did he mean Rong Zhi?
Recalling Rong Zhi, Chu Yu recalled his suggestion all of a sudden: Huan Yuan. She had almost forgotten about that person!
The fourth solution appeared before her eyes just like that: her substitute.
On a certain level, the fourth solution was no less shameless than the other three. However, to Chu Yu, this seemed to be the best solution.
Chu Yu smiled and raised her glass at Pei Shu's direction. "I can't think of any now. Could I get my cousin, Yu Zi Yuan, who's here with me, to take this on for me?"
Before Pei Shu replied, Chu Yu heard a mirthful voice that came from beside her. "Of course, that's alright. But since he's taking over for you, he'll have to come up with two poems and drink two glasses of wine."
Chu Yu tilted her head sideways and realized it was Wang Yizhi who had spoken. He was pouring himself some wine and drinking it while looking at her with a subtle smile in his eyes.
Since Wang Yizhi spoke first, Pei Shu could not object to his idea, so he nodded. "Let's do that."
Chu Yu frowned and soon responded with a smile. "My cousin will come up with the poems and I'll drink the wine." She was not petty, but she was afraid Huan Yuan might say something that he should not if he got drunk.
Huan Yuan had a slight change of expression when he heard that. Just when he was going to say something, he saw Chu Yu coming closer to him all of a sudden and whisper softly into his ear, "Come up with the poems for yourself."
Her voice was so soft that it felt like a lingering thread. However, Huan Yuan's fingers could not help but quiver a little when he heard her. Before she left, Rong Zhi had taken the time to speak to her because he knew that Huan Yuan might decline the request, so he taught her to say that. He said Huan Yuan would be able to write as soon as she said that to him.
Chu Yu was just doing what Rong Zhi said, but Huan Yuan felt a stir of emotions. He recalled the arrogant lady he had met when he was taken into the Princess's Imperial Residence two years ago. The lady teased him in a rather disdainful tone, asking him to write two poems for her.
Naturally, he rejected her. Since then, he could not write a single sentence of any poems for exactly two years.
However, Chu Yu just uttered that to him right then.
Come up with the poems for himself?
What kind of joke was that?
He was struggling inside and could not calm himself down quickly. The fleeting freedom he had today was something significant to him. Having been on edge from the two years of suppression, he might burst like a dam if Chu Yu were to touch him right now.

As Huan Yuan was writing diligently, Yue Jiefei, who was standing in a corner, was so bored that he was going to count the ants on the ground. He thought to himself, 'Nothing has happened since we've been here for so long and the Princess is really into this poetry recital. Is she really a changed person?'
According to the Princess's habit in the past, she would have brought at least two or three beautiful men back by now.
Yue Jiefei was just an ordinary person who had no class and culture. He was very close to digging a hole in the ground since he was bored with whatever was happening there.
Yue Jiefei was moaning softly in his heart, 'Princess, just tell me who you're interested in. No matter who the person is, I'll bring him back for you.'

Rong Zhi walked straight to the courtyard where the princess's bedroom was as soon as he entered the East Court.
Nobody stopped him along the way. There were even people who asked if he needed help, but he declined them with a smile.

As he took a glance around the room, Rong Zhi revealed a faint smile at the edge of his lips while his eyes looked unfathomable.
After looking around the room, Rong Zhi arrived at her bedside. Just when he was bending down to flip the blanket over, he touched a bumpy, rough mark when he held the side of the bed.
He tilted his head and looked while raising his brow. He saw a few of the words 正 (zhen) carved on the bedside, and there was an incomplete one with three strokes beside them.
Rong Zhi left empty-handed approximately 15 minutes later.


From the depths of a deep and blissful slumber, Chu Yu awoke to the vague sense of someone beside her. Among four of five men that she saw sleeping around her when she awoke, one in particular, caught her eye.
'Who is he?'
With his unrivaled elegance and the air of supremacy around him, he gazed upon the princess and asked, "What's wrong, Princess? Did you have a nightmare?"
And with that, an uncontrollable chill rose up her spine that made her shiver despite the warmth of the room.
Is it a joke? Or is it destiny?

Hearing her chuckles, Fu Hanzheng also smiled.
Two days had passed, and she had eventually decided to call him… and, it was also the first time that she had asked him for help.
"What do you want me to do, so you can go to sleep?"
Although he would rather spend the entire night chatting with her, she was already tired after flying to that place and attending the film festival, and early the next morning, she was supposed to visit another city for the promotional pitch, so she had to take a rest now.
Gu Weiwei lay down with the phone and said, between chuckles, "Continue with your poems."
The poems might sound a bit flirty, but they did cure her heart.
Fu Hanzheng chuckled as he walked to the window and looked at the boundless night scenery before continuing with the Sonnet by William Shakespeare. His low and gentle voice echoed across the silent study.
On the computer resting on the desk, Fu Shiqin wanted to flip his table whilst waiting for him to return to continue their work.
He was busy reporting the work to him but now he was reading love poems to help his girlfriend to help her fall asleep.
Even now he tried to choke him with love, halfway across the globe.
However, the two were having such a sweet conversation that he was totally forgotten.
Fu Shiqin just could not stand it anymore. He made a call and woke up Fu Shiyi who was far away in Shengxi Town.
"Damn it, I haven't slept for two days, what are you making this call for?"
Fu Shiyi cursed as the phone call went through.
"Stop sleeping! Get up and feel the love with me!"
Fu Shiqin put the phone onto speaker and placed it in front of the computer, live streaming how his own brother was reading the love poems.
Fu Shiyi could tell that he was speaking with Mu Weiwei next room after hearing the tone his brother was using.
So he said proudly.
"Hey, second brother, you must thank me! But for my wonderful idea, you would not be able to feel such fresh love now."
He had lived for more than twenty years and he had never known that his brother had any knowledge of love poems.
Unfortunately, he was only able to hear what his brother was talking about, not what Mu Weiwei was saying. The love was not filling enough.
In the room next to him, Gu Weiwei was smiling brightly on the phone.
It must be because of Fu Hanzheng who had given her so much sweet love.
So the rationality had told her that this man was of great danger.
But on this night when she got both sad and frightened.
She still could not help but want to get a touch of sweetness from him so that the bitterness and misery inward could be driven away.
When Fu Hanzheng finished three poems, it was already three in the morning.
"Still not sleepy?"
He thought about sparing more time reading more poems or story books.
Otherwise, he would not be able to help her to sleep when she needed him again.
"A little sleepy now." Gu Weiwei said
She could not fall asleep now, but she felt much better.
"Call me whenever you have a nightmare again." Fu Hanzheng stressed.
He had once asked He Chi about her nightmare.
He Chi said that it was probably because she had gained some inward shadow so due to the car accident she experienced before and the tremendous change happening in her family.
She might not look anything strange in daily time, but when she was sleeping, she would be met with such nightmares.
Gu Weiwei chuckled. "Even if I call you again, you still can't be here with me."
"So you want me to sleep with you?" Fu Hanzheng countered.
On the computer, Fu Shiqin almost spilt the coffee whilst waiting for him to return.
Mu Weiwei, what on earth are you talking about?!
Luckily he was not in Africa for work.
Otherwise, his brother would surely have given him tons of work to do whilst flying directly to her overnight.

Giving out the collection of poems was not a sure-win method. After all, the King's Studies scholars could say that it was fabricated.
Even if the production of the books exceeded that of the Luniverse's capabilities, no matter whether it was the binding or the printing, they both exceeded the imagination of the scholars. Many people did not understand how this was possible, but were amazed nonetheless. Then, they partially believed its contents.
People were like this. They had a blind trust in things they had never seen before, but seemed very impressive. Thus, Lu Shu was not worried that everyone would not believe this.
But fans could not be defeated with just one item. True fans of the King of Gods would argue against even undeniable truths. All these were part of the plan that targeted the old King of Gods and the King's Studies scholars. 
The book presented a full rejection of the poems written by the old King of Gods and his academic achievements. In general, all the poems they could think of were indicated under different sources and authors in this book.
Was this accusing the old King of Gods of plagiarising? Who was so daring as to accuse the old King of Gods?!
No, it was not possible. This must be slander! 
To Lu Shu, he did not care whether the King's Studies scholars believed this. No matter what, he had to do this.
In the past, who did he admire? Was it the tycoons who were very rich? No.
Was it Nie Ting, who had absolute power? No.
Was it Shi Xuejin, who stepped into the master realm with one step? No.
He most admired the brave people who started fights with fans of mainstream celebrities.
They were called such because they had many fans, right? At this moment, if someone spoke badly of them, thousands of people would surround them in minutes. Then, they would attack the perpetrator continuously.

Till today, Lu Shu was able to stick to his true self, not because he had high moral standards, but because he was determined enough.
But now, it was different. Who was the old King of Gods? He was!
No matter whether it was shaming celebrities or ordinary people, Lu Shu did not want to do it. But was there any problem with shaming himself? Of course not!
No matter how vast the world was, was anyone able to stop him from shaming himself? No!
At this moment, Lu Shu did not feel any moral pressure. He even felt as if he was digging up a treasure. Lu Shu had never felt so relaxed. He even felt like laughing!
Lu Shu pondered. No matter whether the old King of Gods had never expected this day to come, or whether he had prepared for this in his previous life, he was very grateful that the old King of Gods had painstakingly copied all the poems…
No. He was thanking himself. This way, he would have less emotional burden…
Thus, no matter whether the people believed that the old King of Gods did not copy the poems, or whether they believed Lu Shu, they would all provide distress points for Lu Shu.
Those who believed the old King of Gods would think that Lu Shu was a troll who tainted the name of the old King of Gods.
This was like shaming mainstream celebrities. His fans would provide Lu Shu with many distress points.
On the other hand, those who believed Lu Shu would provide the old King of Gods with distress points. In the end, Lu Shu would also earn the points.
This mysterious historical background had helped Lu Shu create the perfect condition of harming himself to benefit himself!
There was a moment where Lu Shu felt that this was too perfect. If someone had not deliberately planned this, it would seem fake. Lu Shu had never encountered such an appropriate way to earn distress points. Thus, Lu Shu suspected that the old King of Gods had planned this.
He might have predicted that this day would come. Then, he left behind a perfect way to earn distress points for himself.
Of course, Lu Shu was not planning to think about this. He only needed the King's Studies scholars to spread this information.
These King's Studies scholars were like influential people on Earth. The information they spread would immediately become the center of attention in the Luniverse. Then, Lu Shu would be able to earn enough distress points to light up the entire sixth level of nebula and reach the seventh level!
When Lu Shu thought about this, he burst with joy!
The three speakers were furious when they saw Lu Shu laughing. "Young man, what are you laughing at!"
At this moment, Lu Shu reacted and looked at them. "Don't panic. Everyone will get one book. I will pass it to you later."
The old men were speechless.
At that moment, everyone fixed their gazes upon Lu Shu. Everyone held the book and looked helplessly at one another. Someone passed the book to the three old men. They took a look and flew into a rage. "Boy, you are very daring!"
"You dare to taint the name of the old King of Gods? Are you not afraid that you will be punished?!"
"Someone, come and take him away! Take away all the books!"
Among the three of them, some of them were furious, while the others panicked.
Those who were furious were devout fans of the old King of Gods. They could not stand others tainting his name.
Those who panicked were worried about their interests. They existed to analyze the poems written by the old King of Gods, as well as his state of mind and thought process when he was writing. In the end, someone said that the poems were not actually written by the old King of Gods. What was this called? This was called stealing their livelihood! 
There was no doubt that the poems were unparalleled in brilliance, but without the political background, they did not have the favor of the aristocrats. Many people started to analyze the King's Studies to curry favor with the old King of Gods. They were simply opportunistic.
Now that these poems had nothing to do with the old King of Gods, how would the King's Studies scholars survive?
Thus, his first reaction was to control the effect of this situation. He could not allow this to spread!
But the moment the guard of the Peach Garden Association moved, he was knocked out by Lu Shu's sword energy. He was no match for Lu Shu.
When the old men saw this, they were dumbfounded. "Who are you?"
