Chapter 2 - 2, BTOOOM.

 

The revelation that we may not be given any BIM had an impact on Team Japan.

 

Misaki: What the hell! We have to participate in this crazy death game and they don't even give us weapons. Does God want us to die?

Aqua: That might not be the case.

Saki: What do you mean. It is quite clear that we are now at a disadvantage now that we know we won't be given BIM. Some of us might be skilled in combat, but to face those NPCs armed with futuristic bomb will be difficult to say the least.

Aqua: We aren't as much as a disadvantage as you may believe. These missions may be randomly selected, but God will never place us players in a truly impossible situation. Us four veterans have guns and physical enhancements. If God doesn't look at us individually, but as a whole then he might have deemed it that our side would of had too much of an advantage if he started us off with BIMs to use.

Hikari: Aqua is right. Our guns would normally beat bombs in a contest of strength. Bombs have explosive power and AOE damage, but guns have the absolute superiority in speed. Our side would normally win, but down on the island we will have the geographical disadvantage with the cover of all the trees and rocks. Still, even if our combat ability was lessened by 70%, that remaining 30% is still a huge advantage here. Given us BIM on top of everything else would be God helping us too much.

Misaki: Now that I think about it we already have grenades. Who needs BIMs.

Shin: So because the five of us have become stronger, God responded by adjusting his missions for us. So it is because of us that the standard of the missions have gone up? Ideally, after every mission we will have more members and hopefully more competent allys at that, but the difficulty of each new mission will go up. Does that mean that we will never have an easy mission no matter how strong we become?

Saki: Could be the case. Then once this mission is over we will need to decide on rules for new teammates. Who will join our team, how many can join us and the strength of the team overall. Ideally, 20 strong and capable members would be for the best, yet if God from that point on will have the missions on the highest difficulty...

Aqua: Well, there is no point in discussing our future plans that far ahead. Lets just survive this mission and... 

 

Aqua looked over at the other Players and so we followed her gaze.

With the exception of Saki, Kampa, Zero and the smart young college student who had so far stayed far enough to listen, but not close enough to join us... The other new players had distanced themselves from us. Probably too scared of us for so many reasons and so they decided to not associate with us anymore.

It was only now that young college student walked over to us cautiously.

 

Shuai: Can I join your group? Even though everything is unimaginable, but I still wish to stay by you. Oh right, my name is Li Shuaixi. Just call me Shuai. Occupation... just graduated from college, don't have any occupation yet. But I used to watch a lot of horror movies and stories at home. Oh, and I am familiar with fantasy web novels and various mythologies.

Shin: That is great, Welcome to this group. Even though we are not guaranteed to live, we won't give up on our comrads. By the way, you Chinese right?

Shuai: Yes I am. I went to college here, but it was on a exchange program. Then when I was depressed that I would have to go back home because I couldn't find a job... I ended up coming here.

Misaki: You felt depressed enough to die because you had to go back home? What is that?

Shuai: I know, but if I couldn't find a job I was supposed to join my Fathers company and... I would rather die then work under that bastard of a man.

 

Well, here we have someone who has issues with his parents.

 

Kampa: So there are now eight of us. This is good for our combat ability, but are we going to be okay? With eight men in a unit, then there are eight mouths to feed. Do you all have enough food in those bags?

Shin: Yes, if it was just us original four and this mission was only going to last a few day, but it looks like we didn't bring enough. Not only are there now eight of us, I never expected for the mission to last a full seven days. My first mission didn't even last 48 hours and we were in a modern city. I never thought far enough that we could end up in this kind of situation. .

Shuai: Excuse me, but I have a idea. I have read Btooom as well, so I know some of the details. There is a way to get food and other goods.

Saki: You mean the daily supply drop?

Hikari: Supply drop?

Shuai: Yes. The one's running this game will have planes fly over the island and drop down a case of supplies by parachute. Inside will be food, drinks clothes and other goods including medicine. They do this so that the players on the island can fight at full power and not waste their BIMs on catching fish to eat.

Shin: That's right. We really lucked out that this is Btooom and not some other survival game manga. If the setting was still an island not having a constant supply of medicine on hand would be bad news.

Saki: But this isn't all good news? There is danger involved as well.

 

Saki was right about that.

The battle for supplies is one of the biggest motives for conflict on the island. There are only so much supplies to go around and certainly not enough for everyone. In the manga Btooom, most of the battles fought started out over supplies.

The players who can consistently acquire supplies filled with food and water, while other become weaker without such basic necessities, are the ones in the best position to survive the death game.

 

Zero: Some of us here know more about this manga then others, but that doesn't seem to matter since this is a Non story plot. What I want to know is more about the difficulty of this Btooom game.

Saki: What we need is information from you experienced veterans. How would you rate this mission?

Hikari: Let me explain: The four of us did a brief analysis before you guys woke up. To be honest, Btooom isn't a difficult mission. For the characters in the manga, sure Btooom is dangerous, but we have guns. No matter how much of a geographical disadvantage we have if the NPCs hide behind a tree or large rock, I would dare say we still have the advantage overall. In comparison, it has a lower difficulty than our last mission High School of the Dead in a way. Yes, both missions can be explained using science, but the sheer number of enemys in H.O.T.D  makes me feel that Btooom is easier to deal with. Yet why is H.O.T.D a seven people difficulty mission while this is fifteen? We believe that the plot changed, so the difficulty is raised accordingly.

Shin: I can't completely agree with you about this being easier, but it isn't worth dismissing. It even read on our watch that this is a Non Story Plot. It is best to assume that the death game won't follow the manga since the main characters are absent.

Saki: What do you not agree with in Hikari's analysis?

Shin: Mine is just a personal opinion. The number of enemies in H.O.T.D  is definitely frightening for a normal person, but if a player has decent enhancements and weapons, then it is an easy mission. Not long ago I saw Aqua just take a stroll through hordes of undead with her gun and basically play around the whole mission, obtaining points believing that she wouldn't die.

Aqua: I see what Shin is saying. I could play around a little in H.O.T.D because I had an excellent gun and top tier enhancements, and I bet Shin here could now out run and fight any undead after his enhancements, but I am personally more afraid of a PvP battles with futuristic bombs then any army of undead.

Saki: I see. We need to know how much the plot changed and why is the difficulty so high? Also, we don't know the real strength of these Btooom Soldiers and Btooom Commanders since they did not appear in the manga. We have to fight one to learn their speed, strength, BIMs and other variables. Then we can devise a method to kill them.

Kampa: Yeah, but I read what was on the watch and it said nothing about defeating them. All we have to do is kill the main character, or are you afraid that if we leave them alone that they will protect him?

Saki: That, and I also have another theory that I am...

 

But before Saki could say anymore it was time to move.

The cargo plane hatch opened up, letting the cold night air into the plane. The time to parachute down to the island had come at last.

Shin saw that the new players were being lead, more like forced out the hatch of the plane with parachutes and no BIMs like we all feared. They fell out of the plane and were free falling to the ground below. Everyone calmed down a little when they saw the first newbies's parachute open safely, but they were still scared of skydiving all the same.

The soldiers were pushing everyone off regardless whether they were ready or not and then half of the fourteen remaining players feel down onto the island below.

 

Aqua: We should hurry before they throw us off like that as well. They might even start shooting at us if we take to long.

Shin: Alright. Saki, Kampa, Zere and Shuai. I brought enough handguns for all the players here, but so much has happened that I forgot ( Didn't want ) to hand them out. The four of us are already armed, but you four will also need a gun to fight here if they aren't going to give us any BIMs to start with. I can also give you each two spare ammo cartridges.

 

Saki, Kampa, Zero and Shuai agreed with Shin's suggestion, but they had no idea where he was keeping the extra guns.

They saw that the four of them had back packs, yet they never assumed that they were carrying guns for many people. They were especially shocked to see four handguns and extra ammo appear out of thin air from Shin's left hand where his Na Ring was equipped. Saki was the most curious about how Shin did that, yet they didn't have time to get into another discussion.

After Kampa asked for an additional gun as he was skilled with using dual-gun style, the four remaining new players, Shuai being the most nervous jumped out of the plane. The remaining were told that if we didn't jump out in thirty seconds we will be executed.

 

Misaki: Do you think we should have planned to jump out together? You know, land in the same area and all?

Aqua: If we were all professionals maybe, but I doubt all of us have military parachuting training to jump off a speeding plane in the middle of the night and land within the same area. We will try to meet up if we can, but that shouldn't be our main concern. Stay alive, find shelter and gathering the Chips of seven NPCs early on will determine whether we will have a easy or hard time once the Btooom Soldiers and Btooom Commanders begin appearing. Only afterwards should we activity try to look for each other.

Hikari: Aqua is correct. By the latest we should definitely meet to form a battle strategy for when it is time to deal with the main character, Ryuta Sakamoto on the final Day Seven.

Shin: Then it's decided. Survive, gather chips and meet up for the final battle. Lets all meet again down on the island!

 

With those last words, the four of us jumped off the plane together.

The cold winds and the shadows of the night quickly separated us. Like Aqua said it would have been really hard to stay together in these conditions. I couldn't find anyone no matter how hard I tried even with my advance sight from enhancements.

Then three third of the way to the island my parachute finally deployed at last. After the initial shock from opening of the parachute my decent towards the island slowed down. I was able to calmly look around and found that it was impossible to see anything in the darkness.

That was when I looked up and saw lights leaving the area. They were planes. More then the one we were just on, but multiple planes carrying Players and NPC alike. The 150 NPCs and fourteen remaining players were destined to meet on the island  below us all.

 

Shin: So it begins. I survived once, I'll survive twice, and as many times as needed. Try your best world, but I won't go down without a fight!

I started thinking about why I gained the Gamer's ability now of all time; furthermore, my stats should be varied and not be evenly like a newly created RPG character. Also, I shouldn't even be a level 1 character. 



With the kind of life, I lived up to now. I should have more stats in STR, AGI, END, and WIS. If what the stats' description going by is true, then these stats are all wrong. Either it based on myself instead of the world, then it's still wrong. If it was so, then it would be at 1 instead of 10. 



I glare at the status window in front of me, at the stats: MP. 'So this is the reason why I couldn't train in my family's inheritance.' I close my eyes and rub my forehead as I hated how I couldn't train like my relative. 



[Gamer's Mind] - Passive - 



Description: Allows the user to calmly and logically think things through in most circumstances. Allows a peaceful state of mind. Immunity to psychological and mental status effects. 



[Gamer's Body] - (Default) - Passive - 



Description: Grand's a body that allows for the user to live the real world like a game. Pain from damage does not last after a few seconds. Sleeping restores HP, MP, and heals all temporary status effects. 
Looking at my skills list; I can see why I can't create my own skill like the MC from The GamerLooking at my skills list.For figuring one of the restrictions placed on your version of the Gamer's ability. As a result, your wisdom increased by 3. 



Opening my eyes, I see the new window screen in front of my eyes, telling me I just gained 3 WIS stats by just thinking about the reason why I can't create my own skill. 



Which was a relief for me, since it would have sucked if I could only raise my stats by leveling up, equipment, skill, and title only. 



So without wasting any more time, I quickly grab a manga book from my hidden stash: Under my bed. Thanks to the family I live with, I had to hide my hobby or end up getting punished like those that stray from the family's so-called paths. 



Anyway, I grab the first manga I got my hand on and I wasn't disappointed once I got it. As a new blue window screen pops up after I grab a manga.

Upon picking, yes, the manga in my hand turned into dust and like a bad brain freeze. I realized the knowledge from the [Skill Book] I just 'ate' was literally downloading into my mind or at least that's what I could barely think. 



No sooner after a whole minute, I've gained complete knowledge of the manga/anime: Naruto Sears and its spin-off for some reason. 



I shook my head, then wanted to test a theory of mine I just thought of and look for another volume of the manga, to see what happen after I've already gained access to the [Naruto Universe of Knowledge].

'Well, that proves somewhat of my theory upon grabbing a book from the same series.' I thought to myself, then just toss it in my [Inventory], which I'm glad to find it not restricted to a limited amount of how much I could carry and including it weights. 



Bringing back up my skills list and found [Naruto Universe of Knowledge] is under my [Fiction Adaption].

"I almost had God of War just a few inches away from my fingers." I said dryly, then dismiss all the windows until I reached the last one, that literally tells me if I wanted to leave this world. 



Dismissing the last notification screen, then look up at the sky and found out I'm lying on the ground. 



I frown when I notice half of my vision is gone. Raising my right hand, where I found I'm wearing black gloves for some reason and place it over my right eye. Touching what to seem to be an eyepatch, taking it off and sigh of relief that I didn't lose my right eyesight for an unknown reason. 



This would be a perfect time to use a skill like [Observe] to see if there anything special about this eyepatch, that was forcibly placed over my right eye upon entering this world. 



Glancing down my body, noticing my outfit is completely changed too as well. I look to my right to see a river, standing up and walking over to see my reflection while keeping the eyepatch in my right hand just in case.

The main character has a system that take him to the walking dead to help the people who where supposed to be dead.Mostly the female*wink*.

The basketball game ended, the Blue team is utterly destroyed by Hito himself! He is extremely proud of this! 

In his past life he didn't dare to imagine something like this, he had actually scored 100 points no more no less in the entire game!

Though he only did some 3 Points jump shots and a few 2 points, he didn't dunk because his height was terribly lacking, the Basketball skill didn't give him a jump boost, well it doesn't really matter.

The red team had a total of 102 points, 100 , points for Hito and 2 points for the Normie. As for the blue team they only had the same score 12.

In that single game he had earned 500 points! 

In the game his classmates cheered at him till the 3rd quarter, why? It's because it had gotten boring in the 4th quarter, the blue team lost the energy to fight back, they knows that they'll lose anyways!

Within that game he had gain a lot of favority points from the girls In the class, and Shouko is naturally included.

Though he isn't handsome, he had a very average face however because of his amazing skills, the way the girls looked at him is a bit handsome and really cool.

It's like his face gained a filter, solely because of how amazing his basketball skill is plus he is a mathematics Prodigy.

And it's just the very first day of school! 

He didn't showcase all of his skills yet, it's too risky to show it all, so he had to restrict it what he need is connections, but the problem is how? He doesn't know.

Should he become a Mangaka? It's s good choice besides, in the memories of the old Tadano this world entertainment industry is truly lacking, it's slowly dying.

Well it's decided then! He'll be a Mangaka! Hito decided to upgrade the his Art to the [ Prodigy ] grade.

Like the [ Basketball ] skill he wanted to restrict upgrade any skills to [ Monster ] grade for now. 

He doesn't want to be Saitama yet, he doesn't want a boring life because he was too OP.

Since the game had already finished, the school for today is finally going to end, and because of this he became popular in their class.

Similarly because he showed off his skill, the PE teacher urge him to join the basketball club! He was the adviser so naturally he had to do his best to invite Hito, such talent shouldn't be wasted!

The same as his adviser, he rejected the PE teacher proposal without a hesitation!

But the PE teacher didn't give up, and he kept saying that it's for his good, but despite the PE teacher flattery he didn't accept, joining the Basketball Club?

That's a pain in the ass! 

He wanted to go home, but still the PE begged him to join the Basketball Club! Because with him, their school might enter the National game this year!

Hito looked at the PE teacher who is pleading, he couldn't bear to reject him, but he also doesn't want to join the basketball team!

So he decided to put a condition, the condition is that he would only participate if there will be an official basketball Competition!

The PE seemed reluctant, but he accepted anyways it wasn't all to bad at least, he promised that he will join when there is a competition in basketball.

He might not have join the Basketball Club officially, but he is a member in name, so before going he said his laters to Shouko first.

After he did, Hito wanted to explore Tokyo for a while, after all it's a dream come true for him, he should try the foods here.

He had a total budget of 10,000 yen, that's all of the savings of the original Tadano, he thought 'Since I am you now, I shall squander your money for a bit.'

As he explored Tokyo, he couldn't help but feel awe. 'This place is a thousand times better than my previous life city!' He saw a lot of people crossing the street, so he followed.

Hito was having fun walking in Tokyo, until he saw a particular shop, he looked at the shop sign.

"Paradise? Isn't this...no it should be similar it shouldn't be possible for the same anime to be in a single place…but.." he went inside the shop by curiosity.

A Young man from Earth, was suddenly Transmigrated in the body of Tadano Hitohito. The protagonist of Komi-san can't communicate.

Tadano which is now an entirely different person, the young man who had been Transmigrated from Tadano's body couldn't remember anything from his past besides the Anime, Manga and Novels he reads.

He thought that he'll live peacefully in this Rom-com world with his fated partner Shoko Komi, but he suddenly receives a System!

Setting my stuffs was very tiring yet its so fun, maybe its because I'm at home and my parents are not coming home since they're both busy working at the other place.
After cleaning the house for three hours, I sat at the sofa and started to doze off.
I woke up feeling so hungry and realized that I lose track of the time. The fridge is empty so I took a quick bath and decided to go to a nearby convinience store.
While walking at the neighborhood, I saw the streets where I used to run and play. The park where I feared heights because of accidentally falling at the slide and hurting myself.
It took me 10 minutes to arrive at the store, I entered it and bought foods and personal goods that I'll be needing in my everyday life. This is a new convinience store in our area so it really lessens my problem when buying foods. After leaving the store, I almost dropped the goods that I held in my arms after seeing a Manga & Game strore across the street. 
 
"A jackpot!", I shouted to myself.
 
I quickly crossed the street and entered the Manga & Game store. The bookshelves were full of different stuffs like: mangas, game consoles & game cd's. I went to the last section were there's a label saying "Limited Game CDs" thinking that maybe there's a chance of finding the new game that I really waited for.
I saw the game and I'm really happy because I thought that fate has prepared tha game for me.
 
"For heavens sake! I'm glad that there's still one game left!", I shouted with pure joy.
 
As I'm reaching for the game, another hand reached out for it resulting to our hands being entangled at the Game CD. It was a girl… I froze at the moment while looking at her. I think she's at the same age as me. She has a medium size hair, maybe around the shoulders and she looks so adorable in that outift. Before I could open my mouth, she broke the awkward silence and nervously talked at me.
 
"Oh my, I'm really sorry! You may take it if you want.", said by the girl while making her quick escape. 
 
I reached out my hand thinking that I'd give her the game but she already leaved the store. I was shock for an entire second out there, I think I felt something weird. It's not the disease but it was different, it's really strange. Maybe it's because of her very cute clothes and good scent.
After the encounter, I bought the game and a few volumes of manga and heads home. I played for the entire night and didn't realized that I fell asleep.
 
"Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!"
 
The loud phone call in my phone waked me up in the morning.
 
"Ohh, it's a call from my mom", I said while yawning.
 
I looked at the time and suddenly noticed that today is Monday and my first day at school.

I quickly changed my clothes and ride my bicycle to death to school. I arrived 5 minutes before I was late. 
I walked through the hallway and scanned each classroom labels to where my class is.
 
"Classroom 3-B, Classroom 3-B, where is it? I think I'll be late right now, but if I run, then someone could see me."
 
"Ogawa-kun right? It seems that you're the new student at my class."
 
What does she say? My teacher? I'm glad I met her right now.
 
"At my class? So, you're saying that you're my new teacher this year?"
 
"Yes, I'll be your teacher, now come follow me and we'll go to the classroom now."
 
While walking she told me her name and also asked for my name. Her name was Sakurai Yuko. We entered the classroom and saw my new classmates for this year.

"Uhm.. Hello everyone, good morning. Uhm, please take care of me."
 
As I was finishing my sentence, a familiar voice yelled at me. It was Yumi-chan, my childhood friend. She leaves a few blocks away from the house where I live when I was a kid.
 
"Hideki-kun!!! How have you been!" she shouted while smiling like a child.
 
Everyone's face tells that their reaction was wondering what kind of relationship I had with Yumi-chan.
 
"Yumi-chan, please be quiet! You may talk to him later." said by our teacher. "Ogawa-kun, your seat is at that spot.", while pointing her hand at the back part of the room.
 
I sat and started to fix my things when my notebook suddenly falls near my seatmate at my right side. My classmate reached for it and hand it on me.
 
"Thank yo… Whatttttt?! It's you from the game store right?", I suddenly let my voice yelled and be heard in the room.
 
"Are you all right back there Ogawa-kun?", said by our teacher.
 
I apologized and goes back to the situation.
So, here's the thing happening right now. The cute girl that I met by fate is my classmate right now and she's my seatmate. How cool is that?
 
"Uhm, hello. My name is Ogawa Hideki and I'll be your seatmate, please take care of me." I greeted while smiling awkwardly.
 
"…"
 
Ohh, no response huh. I think I'm rejected.
 
"Shimamoto Michiko… that's my name, please also take care of me.", she replied as if she's forced to answer.
 
The subjects quickly passed by and its lunch break. Its kinda hard making friends since its my first day so I went to the cafeteria, bought my food and sat at the table for four persons. While eating, I saw a classmate of mine walking towards me. He looks like he'll bully me.

"It's okay", I nervously replied.

As I was finishing my greeting, someone slapped my back and its Yumi-chan.
 
"Its been a long time, Hideki-kun! Can I sit here?", asked by Yumi-chan while preparing her food at the table.
 
"You shouldn't bother asking me you know.", I replied monotonously.
 
"I know right? Now you have a lot to tell me okay?", she said while leaning her breast towards my shoulders.
 
I quickly evade nervously.
 
"Woah, are you okay there?", asked by Kazuki-kun.
 
"Yes, I am. I'm just surprised haha", I replied.
 
"Hmmmp… You can tell me if you hate me you know?", Yumi said while pouting.
 
"Now, now, its not like that, we should just eat."
 
While eating I saw Shimamoto eating by herself. Our eyes suddenly met but she averted it as if she's disgusted by me.
 
"Oi, Hideki-kun? So Shimamoto-chan is your type huh?", teased by Kazuki-kun.
 
"No it's not like that."
 
"You know, Shimamoto is really quiet at the room, she rarely talks to any boys but she talked normally to the girls.", said by Yumi-chan.
 
"Yup! I'm thinking maybe she hates me.", replied by Kazuki-kun.
 
So she's really a quiet type. She'll be a perfect seatmate for the suppressing of my disease. I quickly smirk while gathering my thoughts when Kazuki and Yumi suddenly looks at me weirdly.
 
"Scaryyyyy", said by Yumi-chan.
 
"What were you thinking back there huh?", quickly teased by Kazuki-kun.
 
"Its nothing you know."
 
 
The lunch break was done and we head back to the classroom. I'm glad that Yumi-chan was my classmate and Kazuki-kun approaced me. I thought I'll be a total loner but why is Shimamoto not talking to guys? Is that her reason why she left last night? 
In our last subject, I saw Shimamoto working and studying quietly.
Whenever I see her, it brings a very nostalgic feeling of what happened at the game store. The strange feeling that is very unique. Maybe she won't be friendly to me because she's angry of taking her game.
 
"Shimamoto-san" I called her with a whisper.
 
"What?", she replied while looking at me.
 
I'm glad she looked at me.
 
"You know I can lend you the game you wanted to play. Do you want to borrow it? I mean it's okay for me you know.", I replied while smiling with confidence.
 
"Is it okay? You've just bought it freshly from the store last night, I know you'll be wanting to go home now and finish it.", she said while slightly averting her eyes.
 
"No its okay, I just finished it last night you know."
 
When she heard that, she looked at me again as if she's amazed by how I quickly finished the game. In the hospital that I was in, practicing games to supress the disease becomes my habit that's why I can easily finish a game in a night.
 
"Is it really okay? I mean you're very fast at playing even though it's a new game.", she replied nervously.
 
"Yeep, its okay. I'll be sure to bring it tomorrow.", it seems that my reply lacks because she still looks at me like waiting for something. "You know finishing it is very fast for me because I love the new voice actress of the main character haha"
 
"Ohh, it must be a very good game. Thank you again Ogawa-kun! I thought I'll never be able to fell the game because you've bought it.", she said.
 
"Can I ask you a question?"
 
"What is it?"
 
"Why did you run last night?", I asked while sligthly scratching my head.
 
"Ohh, its nothing.", she replied lifelessly as if I asked her a question that is very sensitive.
 
She turned her head at the teacher and hours passed by when the whole class is done.
The school was done and we didn't talk again. I thinked it's because of the question that I asked about last night. Maybes she doesn't want me to see her at that outfit, or maybe it's her secret that she's a gamer. 
 
I really don't understand girls at all.

"AGH! 5 MORE MINUTES!" 

I ignored the fact that the alrm clock is ringing but then J suddenly realize that my alarm clock was only set 45 minutes before the school gate closes.

I quickly rolled over on the bed to stand up but my body fell off.

"Argh, sht I'm late again." I spoke to myrself

I rushed all the things I have to do and ran across the road. Well, I'm very expert in this.

As I passed the school gate 5 minutes before it closes I breathe heavily. I should never do that again.

I quickly run to my classroom and I saw my one and only friend in this school.

" Heya Yuki! Wanna see my new game? " she asked me smiling.

I bet she's introducing this to me because she can't finish it.

" Uh, yes sure, what is it? " I responded.

" This game is called Serendipity: Vast into the New World, I find it hard so I'm gonna leave it to you since it's your expertise. " she smiled at me brightly,.

"Uhm, 'kay." 

After that conversation she got back to her chair and our sensei also arrived.

It's breaktime already, I'm here sitting in the corner of our room playing what Akane-chan gave me.

And guess what? It's annoyingly hard.

I remembered the game Akane gave me. I took it out and continued playing while walking home.

Suddenly a stranger appeared before me.

He slowly walked by but when we are close to each other he took out a knife out of his pocket.

My eyes went shocked and I couldn't think properly.

If this is a game what would I do? I asked my self. I'll probably do my special move but this ain't game.

I when he was about to take it I kick him in his right abdomen.

It wasn't supposed to hit that part, it was supposed to hit his neck but since my legs are shaking I can't kick that high. Still, at least I hit him so I bot the chace to run.

I was about to get off him when he suddenly pushed me on the road where a car is coming.

I didn't know life is short until it ended.

Yuki is an ordinary highschool girl with extreme skills in playing rpg games. Not until she met an annoying game that she can't finish. After buying manga books at the shop, a stranger approach her and asks for her valuables. Trying to fight back she got pushed and was hit by a car. When she woke up, she found herself in a completely different world and different body.

So I started writing a new novel… it is not published yet though. I don't think this novel is that good, it had a lot of potential but due to my bad writing skill, I kinda ruined it.

I made the MC too OP which resulted in a plot hole, the MC could just teleport to the emperor and kill him….it that simple.

I also didn't do very well in character development, I know I suck at that and romance stuff too.

I already wrote two chapters in advance for my new novel. I'm just going to leave it here, just think of it as reading a new novel

Chapter 1,

 *CREAAAK*

The giant gate was opened, a figure walked in and looked at the demon king in front of him.

"Congratulations human! I didn't think you could make it this far."

The demon king stood up from his throne and took out his level 100 sword with legendary rarity.

He then looked at the player confusedly.

"Human, where is your party?" 

The figure glanced around him and shrugged.

"Do you not see my name tag? It said {LonelyArthur} so obviously I don't have one. I don't think I need one either…"

A tick mark appeared on the demon forehead. 

"Arrogant Human! Die!" 

The demon leaped toward the figure with its giant wings.

"Uhm? You think you can kill me? Let me show the power of my lvl 1000 sword with holy attribute!" 

A white lightsaber appeared on the figure hand.

The demon king immediately stopped his advance.

"Wh-What!? HOW DID YOU GET THAT!?" 

He could feel the power contained in that sword, just one hit was enough to kill him.

Suddenly the light faded away to reveal a broken wooden sword, it looked worse than a beginner sword.

"Ah! I forgot to recharge it!" 

This time, two tick marks appeared on the demon forehead with embarrassment on his face.

"Human I praise you for being able to trick me! Now die!"

The demon raised his sword. 

A big grin appeared on the figure.

"Huh? When did I ever trick you?" 

The figure raised his wooden sword and cut through the lvl 100 sword and the demon king.

"Well that was easier than opening the gate..." 

The figure said as he put back his sword inside the inventory.

"Im-Impossible!" 

The demon king glared at the human in hatred and said his last word before turning into shards of glass.

When he first got into this game, a player came up to him and helped him learn the basics.

As a pro gamer, Arthur thought it was suspicious that someone would help a new player for no reason.

'It must be a player killer, he probably wanted me to get stronger then kill me. That won't work though! I, mighty Arthur, will kill you first!'

Turns out the player was a developer for the game, that made sense why he tried to help Arthur.

After the developer died, he dropped the weapon, technically it was the developer's fault for having it in his inventory so they let Arthur keep the sword.

While Arthur was thinking about how he got the {Why do you have this sword?}, everyone else was shocked by the new announcement

"Someone completed the game already!?"

"How did this {LonelyArthur} complete the game by himself? I never heard of him before" 

"I know this dude! He also made the same achievement in the game Heavenly Earth!" 

"Same! But it was in Battle Online!" 

"I also saw it in Darkness Force!" 

They would probably have a heart attack if they knew that Arthur only started playing yesterday. Some played this game for a year already yet they weren't even close to finishing the game.

Arthur looked at the world one last time before taking off his VR helmet. 

"Another game finished...I guess this should be the 57th time. Umm...I heard a new game just released, it's called...Atlantic Battlefield! I think…"

He had finished many different games with many different game types, like, RPG, FPS, MMO, etc. 

You think it was easy to kill a developer with 4 levels higher than you? Without his experience in other games, he might have died miserably instead.

He started playing games when he was 14, it was also when the first virtual reality game with 90% realisticness got published. 

Sadly, when it got published he couldn't afford it.

Arthur could barely make a living for himself. Both of his parents died when he was 7, luckily his parents left him some money and a small house.

Of course, the money wasn't going to last forever so he had to find a job. Not many places accept him due to his age but eventually he found one.

One day while walking to his job, he found a poster that changed his life forever…

Flashback time...

Arthur looked at the poster with shiny eyes.

'50% OFF CRISPY NOODLE! OFFER EXPIRE TOMORROW!'

"Oh, Arthur! You came to buy crispy noodles again?" The receptionist greeted Arthur.

Arthur nodded.

He grabbed three packages of crispy noodles on the shelf.

"Sigh...Arthur, the only thing you ever buy is crispy noodles. Whatever, you can have it for free today" 

"Really?"

Arthur suspiciously looked at the man

"Yea" 

"Uncle...are you sure you're not possessed?" 

An invisible arrow hit his chest *Critical Damage*

"Is it that weird for me to give free stuff?" 

Arthur nodded.

"Are you done now? Sigh, kids these days don't appreciate kindness"

Blood came out of the receptionist's mouth as he said that

"Get out of my store already if your done"

"But what about those other three crispy noodle" 

"When did you get this!?" 

"When you said they were free…"

"What!? I mean those three are free, not all. Uhh..., whatever you can have these too, talking to you give me headache"

"What are you doing!?" 

Arthur was about to go to the shelf to grab three more but was stopped.

"Tch…" 

And that was the story of how he got 6 packages of crispy noodles for free!

Oh wait...that has nothing to do with him changing his life.

Arthur left the shop, suddenly he found a VR helmet inside a trash can then took it home. He played his first game and found it very interesting so then he kept playing and playing and sold his item for money then played then the cycle repeated until he got to where he is today. The end.

Yea...the story is not as interesting as getting crispy noodles.

Out of nowhere, a screen appeared in front of him. 

'What the heck...I'm pretty sure I took my VR helmet off' 

He looked at the VR helmet on his left hand then looked at the screen.

'This is the exact situation of what happens in fanfiction!'

Dang....everything feels so real though.

That giant gate too, wait...all these people, in a cave then find a giant gate….

After he finished, the door suddenly closed.

While everyone was panicking

One person stepped up.

The dude walked toward the gate.

"STOP!! Don't put your hands on the handle!!" Mr.Song yelled but sadly...

The guy touched the gate.

*SWISH*

The statue near the gate raised its spear.

The guy's head fell to the ground.

The blood splashed on the gate.

Woah! This is one realistic dream!

"What!? Did that statue just move!?"

"I want to go home and have some chocolate cookie with milk"

Oh! This is where things get scary.

Even though it was a dream, my instincts still tell me to do it.

So I did and I'm glad that I did.

Laser beam came out of the giant eyes.

Just like that, half of my sword was melted.

I keep saying that this was a dream or a game but…

It's just a lie I tell myself.

That was scary

I mean...standing in front of a giant-creepy statue that can shoot out laser beams from its eyes sound scarier than fighting superman.

The statue's eyes turn back to normal as it smiles.

It's like the creepiest smile you'll ever see. 

It is worse than your school picture when you smile in elementary school.

"Is it over?"

"We survived!"

"We get to live!"

Suddenly the giant statue who was sitting on it throne stands up.

"Sung! What do we do now!?"

"Ah! The dungeon has its own rules!

"If it's singing and praising, I've got this!"

I think this is the moment when the guy dies by doing the wrong 'praise'.

Should I save him?

It will be suspicious if I just said that it won't work.

I tackled him out of the way as the feet smashed down the ground.

"EVERYONE RUN!!!" Jin-Woo yelled

The statue can attack but I can't tell them that.

I guess I'll let the story play by itself…

I'll just walk toward the statue with an instrument.
