Characters

Yumi: a strong dependent Korean woman that is continuously bumbling through one day to the next. Yumi has proven to have a passion for food, poor spending habits, procrastinating tendencies, and a lot of hidden away emotion. Central cells: love cell, hunger, writer, emotional, rational, naughty, inner feeling.

Woong: a quiet, hard-working man of principles. Often tries not to trouble others with his actions. He also is a bit of a troll. Central cells:pride,ambition, faker, love,rational.

Babi: a very reserved and intuitive person who has been hardened by the experience of dating, he has a sincere kindness and passion that he often tried to hide. Central cells: overbearing, detective, love, emotional.

Overview

So as I stated before, Yumi's brain cells are usually the main focus, but that doesn't mean we don't focus on other characters' cells. Each cell has its one-note characteristic. The real fun is in how all these unfiltered one-note personalities pretty much war against each other like the MHA fandom picking the best girl(Or picking which one of my stories is the best). To keep things fresh, the story will often focus on an underappreciated cell and mechanic that leads to even more wacky scenarios.

Primarily each character in yumi cells has a prime cell that directs them main cells that usually represent feelings and cells that control the body's functions. Some cells have been labeled as retired, like my diet cell. Cells have also shown the ability to fuse to make a more powerful cell. Like how introvert and timid cells can Digi-fuse into hermit cell.

Each cell pretty much allows us to understand Yumi and the cast a lot better as, like all of us, we usually have to hide our true feelings to move ahead. And this is one of the reasons I love this comic so much. Despite the funny over the top gestures, yumi cells have legitimately significant social interactions that don't feel too bad as yumi goes through one stage to the next.

The Best Stuff

I think the best way to appreciate yumi's cells is for me to set the record straight. If you're looking for a story about sexy men and women talking about how hot they are, then this isn't for you. If this is a story about a will, they won't get the couple; then this isn't the story for you. I stated in the beginning that this is a story about love and life and the little stories along the way. Yumi gets put into multiple long term relationships, each with their dynamics, changes, and evolutions. Yumi goes through various hurdles and stages in her life and often struggles about the path she's on. And as a person is hard not to get easily invested in that story. Sure it may not have the best art sure it may not have chapters with no real significance. Sure the author is the biggest goddamn troll in the universe. But don't we all have our own private trivial stories that we reflect on?

Overall I hope you check out yumi's cells if you're interested in a fun little story before you get your day started just like I hope you enjoy my stories whenever you tune in. My plot is really not that uncommon. There are tons of stories about contract marriages. But what was different about my story was the variety. It's not toxic or filled with unnecessary drama. Simple and easily understandable. 




Theo and Stella are fictional characters but I did my best to make them realistic. They are both based on my personality (hehehe) , not fully though. Just like them all the characters are based on the people I know in real life. In many stories you'll see that male lead or female lead has abusive shitty parents. Okay, I don't really like that stuff. 




Some times parents does unlikable things for our well being. See, my parents aren't that good either but whatever they do, they do it for my well being. As a kid I used to hate them but now that I'm an adult I try understand them. 

 




I know I suck at romance but I can say with guarantee that all of you had a great laugh reading it, right? 







I posted this story on two sites, sadly I had to discontinue it on MangaToon as I received an offer to sign my story here in Webnovel. The offer came to me around the time I posted my 82 chapter. I knew that it'll be locked once I sign up. That's why I waited until the story is almost finished. For the sake of my readers I decided to let it be free until the time being. 







Now I've successfully signed up the novel.

She called me first and I tried my best to calm her down. I told her that to not get stressed and be herself in her first meeting with him. I told her to not think about the result of the meeting too much and just meet him. 

 It's difficult to meet someone whom she doesn't know and she had never talked to Ayan before their first meeting. I told her that she doesn't need to hurry to make any decisions. She can meet him after her first meeting and decide what she really wants to do. 

Her reaction after her first meeting with Ayan. She was happy and they both decided to meet again. Then their meetings increased and with time they both fell in love. They used to solve their flights on their own. I loved that thing in their relationship. The relationship is between two so no need to involve the third person till they can find solutions for their problems. If someone has any issues they directly tell each other without taking help of any third person nor even their friends. Because of these they come more and more closer without having any obstacles in relationship. I think if they took the help of any third person in their relationship they might not get this much close today. 

Meera is a doctor and Ayan is an engineer. They both are from different fields. They have some similarities and some differences in nature. 

With time they fall in love and today they are officially married. 

I believe that love is important no matter if it's arranged marriage or love. If there's no love then it can destroy the relationship. 

 Ayan is really a good guy for Meera. I'm very happy for both of them. 

 All rituals of marriage are finished including vows and Juta chori rasam. 

Meera and Ayan are now officially husband and wife. They took the blessings of the elder and then we all family members took our lunch together in the evening around 4 o'clock. We all are not able to eat properly because now only a few times left for 'Vidai'. I requested Meera to eat and she hardly eats a few spoons. I'm also not able to eat more than three spoons. 

After that Meera and Ayan have to finish some other rituals and take the blessings of God. 

The hardest time for all of us comes and it's Kanya Vidai. 

Meera first hugged me tightly and cried and I also hugged her and cried. All the people around us are crying. My looks probably look worse but I just don't care about it now and I'm feeling sad and crying and suddenly one hand come in front of my face with a glass of water and tears stopped from my eyes and I wipe my tears and try to look that who is this that giving me water and to my surprise it's Aarav and I was like not now. I'm not in the mood to fight with you please don't say anything leave me alone and just go. 

I'm not in the mood to scream at him right now. I just want to be alone. That can only help me to come out from this situation. I don't want to say anything to him. I hope he understands my silence.

The winner of my prompt was a book that is now on hiatus. No other entries qualified. At the time I didn't realize that having votes was the rank qualifier. So my book was instantly disqualified.
Despite not making it past the car park, so to speak, I kept this story going. I had moved it to Wattpad and continued to post chapters there.
I entered it into a Wattpad community award, and had eventually won the award for Historical Fiction, but never received the prize for it. 😆
That's okay. Knowing that my writing was enough to be a winner in a judge's eyes was cool. It won over some quality stories as well. That was a prize enough for me.

Since grade school, I've been a fan of the BL series and books. I can still remember the first series that I watched and I got hooked. Watching and reading those kinds of love stories made me realize that love between men is as colorful as the rainbow. But being obsessed with boy's love also got me into a lot of trouble. My mom used to scold me every time she catches me binge-watching a series instead of working on my homework. I always score below average on exams a day after not getting much sleep and setting aside studies. 

Everything changed, I guess, during high school when I met my best friend Kristofer. He's so smart, diligent, and kind of cute. His character reminds me of those protagonists from the stories and series that I've seen. But he was a loner. I don't know what it is, but something about him made me want to befriend him. So I did my best to get close to him. My persistence and irresistible charm made me his best friend and only friend until Niko joined our gang. He protected Kristofer from bullies and annoyed me a lot. I want to think that he can become Kristofer's love interest in my fantasy world but he is too lame to be one. Throughout our younger years, I called Kristofer different nicknames since 'Kristofer' got a lot of syllables in it. I used to call him 'Tope' but he doesn't like it so I only use it once in a while. 

When we got into college, all of us gone through puberty and we all glammed up. I locked my BL dream for Kris since no one can match his charisma. I thought it will be forever forgotten but it came to life when Luke Fuentabella came to our school. He's a perfect match for my best friend. I wanted to make a move for them to get close to each other but it seemed like destiny wanted them to be together.

Kris always stops me from daydreaming about them. When I want to write, I always ask him to tell me some details of his interaction with Luke, but he always turned my requests down. So what I did is, watched them closely and got information as much as possible. I'm writing my story before I sleep so Kris won't notice that I'm keeping my fantasy alive.

I'm only preoccupied with thoughts of what could be next to my story. Then Alex came into my life. He's childish, immature, and annoying. But he's the only one who made me feel wanted and loved. What shocked me the most was that he's Luke's half-brother. His persistence and cute acts for me to notice him made me fall for him. He may be immature at times but he's a great guy. He makes me happy and that's what matters to me most. 

I got a cute boyfriend, a smart best friend, and cool friends. They made my life happier. So what's next?

I thought finishing my story will be my next goal. With Alex's help, I was able to complete the draft of my story. I wanted Kris and Luke to read it first so I decided to send them copies of it but I'm still thinking about when should I do it.

Tonight, we all gathered up here in Luke's former home which he had turned into a beautiful villa at a beachfront. We are celebrating our gains and all of the good things that happened. We were watching the fireworks display when I thought of something.

"Should I give it to them?" I asked Alex who had his arm around my shoulders as we watched the fireworks.

"You mean... the draft?" He asked.

"Yes... Everyone was in a good mood so I think this is a great opportunity for me to give it to them..."

I turned around to face him and said, "You helped me a lot so I want to thank you... If it wasn't for you... I wouldn't know what else to write about their story..."

"Just don't tell my brother that I told you things about him... He might get mad at me..."

"Don't worry... I won't tell him..."

"Come here..." He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him.

I wrapped my arms around him and felt his warmth.
