Alchemist and Wizards are known to be rivals in the land of Bahaghari. There are two kingdoms, The Alchemia, where alchemist arose and Kingdom of Kapangyarihan, the homes of wizards. 
In the past, they are still united. Alchemist and Wizards are still merged ‘til one young man was born where it was not a half-blooded alchemist and wizard but a whole blooded one. They did not distinguish his race where that way, it caused them conflict. 
A whole blooded one is a great danger to their kingdom, bahaghari because they considered a whole blooded a bad karma. It brought unfortune to a kingdom once a whole-blooded was born.
Everyone in Bahaghari, an alchemist or a wizard wants the boy to be punished, killed and torture. They don't want a whole-blooded one in their kingdom and they sometimes called "Salot".
A married alchemist and wizard took the whole-blooded baby to them and escape him from the kingdom. They vanished from the kingdom to help the baby to live. 
One morning, the baby went missing as the king of bahaghari announced. Everyone went to unbearable behaviours as they heard the news. Once a whole blooded was missing, it has a chance that he will destroy the kingdom and replaced the king by himself. This causes them to go conflict. 
They parted their kingdom into two namely the Alchemia and Kapangyarihan. Everyone in Bahaghari is all half-bloods but they still went deteriorated. 
When an Alchemist and wizard reached their age in eighteen, a strand of hair will turn into red or blue. The red one will be an Alchemist-Wizard and blue one will be Wizard-Alchemist. 
Alchemist-Wizards are half-bloods that are in Alchemia Kingdom where the blood of an alchemist more dominant than wizard. Wizard-Alchemist are the half-bloods living in Kapangyarihan Kingdom where the blood of Wizard more dominant than alchemist.
But if a full-blooded one, you'll have gold if you are a wizard and silver if you are an alchemist. "On my state, I have a strand of Gold in my hair. I am a full-blooded wizard." –Mckenzy

"So, when do you think we can go inside?" Nick asked the only person in his group that actually knew something about this mess.

"That's a bit difficult to tell right now, but since a thousand people are allowed into the secret realm this time there will probably be no competition held, yet even then it is still hard to predict the moves the top powers here will make." Loyd was frowning as well, he felt like things wouldn't be as simple as just walking up to the gates this time.

And so, time froze like this, with the words on the door flashing more brilliant by the second, until finally.

Creeeeeek!

The doors to the secret realm opened with a nasty creek, but to most cultivators, this was the heavenly sound of opportunity knocking!

"Dear cultivators of this great continent, listen here! All those that are not affiliated to an empire or a sect, please turn back now, all those from low-level Empires and sects, please turn back now, and finally, all those whose cultivation base is below the gathering realm, please turn back as well, this is not a place where you can step in!"

After speaking among themselves some of the top powers in the area decided to make up some rules that could help them keep most of the spots for their disciples. This was because, although it was true that a secret realm only had a few treasures, the environment there was still incredibly valuable for cultivation, one day in there could serve as a month's worth of practice!

And these secret realms usually stayed open for weeks, so if more of their disciples were to enter. the stronger their sect would be even without the heavenly relics! So they would make sure to keep most of the vagrant cultivators out and only allow those with power and background which would be few, leaving more spots for themselves.

The Cultivators were furious, how could they stomach being insulted like this?! But sadly they knew they were outmatched here, the people who spoke just now had the ability to wipe out small level Empire's by themselves, so wiping out wandering cultivators like them would be as simple as farting! 

But just as these wandering cultivators and those from the low-level powers were about to lose hope, one cultivator stood up and stood tall with his loud voice ringing out righteously throughout the place!

"My fellow cultivators listen to me, why are you being insulted like this, why are you just letting them push you around, why don't you fight for your right?! Chant with me, We want to go into the secret realm and explore too!"


"We want to go into the secret realm and explore too!"The cultivator continued to motivate others to follow.


In case anyone was wondering this cultivator was not, Nick. Nick had better things to do at the moment like trying to decide what to have for lunch! In fact, Nick was angry with the person chanting, what the hell was up with that long ass chant?! Doesn't he know short and catchy is what a chant needed to embody for it to move others?!

But at this time the man realized no one was following his lead and became angry! Since they didn't want to follow him and go in then he decided to take the lead and go in by himself!
The man then walked to the doors of the secret realm with steady steps, and just as a cultivator from one of the top powers was about to attack him he roared out in pride, " My sister is the favorite prostitute of the Dragon sage! Touch me if you dare!" 

Then the man took out some token to show them, and with that, he was let in, but he still took time to turn back and smack his bottom in the direction of the stunned crowd. He was so proud of his sister, who was so gifted at her job...

"Brother Nick, please take me with you! I come from a low-level sect you see, and by that fact alone I'm disqualified, but you, you are an alchemist, a mighty alchemist! With you leading the way then you could probably even take your beast in with you!" Loyd was pleading directly at the moment, he didn't want to fall behind when Nick went into the realm later.

Nick withheld the urge to ask Loyd what the hell an alchemist was, but from the way Loyd had phrased it, it was pretty apparent that it was awesome! Nick then began thinking of ways to use this misunderstanding to his advantage as he went onto the system shop and searched for anything related to alchemists.

And when he saw that the system provided their outfits he didn't hesitate in buying it! But he saw that the system categorized the outfits as one star, two star and so on until ten, each one more expensive than the last, but Nick couldn't see their difference from yhe shopping window so he simply purchased a simple three-star outfit.

In another continent, the Alchemist association that has stood since ancient times was having a particularly prosperous day today, with so many people entering and very few leaving. This was because today was an exceptional day, today was the day of the Alchemy assessment, where alchemists no matter their level would come to see if they could be promoted to the next star.

The association had hundreds upon hundreds of rooms for testing so, they were never crowded and in one of these rooms, particularly room 283, a test for second-star alchemists was being held, those alchemists that passed would successfully reach the third star, but those that fail will have to wait for another year to pass in order to retake the test.

"All Alchemist will now take the oral exam!" The Alchemist in charge of this test spoke solemnly, his back was straight, and his chin was lifted, but he was entitled to acting this cocky since he was a revered three-star alchemist who was also the cousin of one of the elders in the association!

In the room, there were twenty students, mostly men, but there were still seven women in the class, and among these women sat a sparkling beauty whose face was just the image of perfection and whose figure left nothing to criticize.

And even the three-star alchemist was glancing at this beauty from time to time while trying hard to placate his heavily beating heart, he has had some sort of a crush on this woman for the past four years now. But he has never been able to say it out loud.

So, instead of just saying it like a man he would just postpone it for the next year and he would make her fail just so he would see her again, and just like that, in order to see this beauty he has already failed her for the past three years, postponing his proposal time and time again, but this year was the year where he would say it, definitely! 

"You, what are the herbs needed to calm the effects of the heart-stirring leaf?!" The Alchemist asked the first student in the row, and although this question seemed simple, an alchemist needed to list and define all the pills the heart-stirring leaf could be used in, before he would decide which herb to use with which pill, and if he made even one mistake during this process the student would fail!

And so the questions kept on coming, and out of the twenty nearly nine had already been dismissed, and this was only the first round of the test! Now it was the beauty's turn.

The Alchemist cleared his throat before he asked, "Why are you so pretty?"

"..." The beauty had no idea how to respond to that, was she supposed to be humble or speak confidently, was he just complimenting her, or asking her seriously what herbs she used on her face to make herself look this good? 

But how would she answer if the question was the last one, she has never put a single thing near her face all her life, she has always just been pretty, sue her!

"I...don't think that I'm that pretty..." The woman took the humble approach and resigned herself to failing again for the fourth time in a row.

"Correct!" The Alchemist was determined to ask the woman out at the end of this test so he had to make sure she passed no matter what her answer was. Besides, he had initially asked the question as a compliment but who knew the girl would answer this way, but since the girl thought she wasn't pretty it wouldn't be nice to burst her bubble, right?

But the sparkling beauty was slightly upset, why did this teacher seem like he was insulting her?!

Then the man went into the second round of questioning and again it was the beautiful girl's turn.

"Why does your smile trouble me, why does it haunt my dreams?!" The Alchemist was trying his best to let the lady know she was in his mind day and night.

"..." The Beautiful girl was at a loss again, was alchemy so random, since when did alchemy have to do with dreams, or was the man systematically trying to hint that he likes her, or was he just telling her she has an ugly smile and it gave him nightmares?!

"Because it is...ugly...?" The woman chose this answer after seeing how the man had insulted her previously, a man that had just called her ugly wouldn't be saying he likes her in the next second right?

"Correct again!" The Alchemist was feeling pity for this woman, she had such a low opinion of herself. But again, as a true admirer of hers, he needed to respect her opinion.

 After the second round, five more people were eliminated, leaving only six in the examination room, but the Alchemist still wasn't satisfied, he wanted to be alone in the room with the beauty when he proposed, so, his next questions became even more unreasonable, ensuring the other disciples wouldn't make it to the next round which was a practical exam.

"You, what is my favorite fruit?!" The Alchemist asked a student sternly.

"Mira Mira fruit!" The student replied confidentially, he had done his homework.

"How did you...wrong! That was my previous favorite, now it's...peach? Yes, peach!" The Alchemist then chased away the student.

"You!" The Alchemist then pointed at the only other girl aside from the beauty in the examination room right now.

"What do think is your strong point?"

"Huh...? My...intelect?" The woman was pretty sure it wasn't her looks because the man had clearly just called the beauty over there ugly.

"No, it's...your...looks..." The Alchemist spoke while staring at the large mole on the girl's nose that took up half of it.

And so the girl left happier than ever, so what if she failed, she was still called prettier than the woman others referred to as, heaven's greatest creation!

The constant theme in The Alchemist is to pursue your dreams by following what your heart desires.
During the young boy's journey, he learns to listen to the heart and to follow the language of omens.
With each passing obstacle and hurdle that the young boy encounters, there is a lesson to learn. Each lesson teaches the young boy that he must always follow his heart, as it is the language of God. He realizes that he must go on with his own 'personal legend' no matter how difficult the journey becomes.
He learns to use his heart to overcome fear. He learns to use his soul to never lose hope when faced with adversity. He learns to focus on his own journey, disregarding the influences of society.
For those things always have truth.
We all have a dream.
We all have our own personal legend.
The Alchemist has many lessons and nuggets of inspiration sprinkled throughout the story.

"Sin? Why do you make it sound as if I am the reason they ended up like that? It is my wish whether I should help a dog or not," Valentina said coldly.
Herwin and Harvey's eyes bulged as veins pulsed in their eyes. Valentina literally called Roy and Dennisa as dogs, and this way beyond any humiliation they could bear.
Even Roy and Dennisa tilted their heads to look at Valentina with infuriated gazes. They had been holding in their fury only because they didn't want to destroy their only hope with their own hands. They had already suffered enough and didn't want to make it worse.
But what Valentina said made them unable to not look at her with anger and hate. They already felt ashamed to hear their fathers pleading a youngster to save them. They felt like stabbing themselves for making their proud and lofty fathers beg for them.
"Valentina! Where are your manners? Is this how you talk to your seniors?" Damien bellowed as he released his soul aura, making the atmosphere of the room turn ominous.
Although the soul cultivation of the patriarchs was higher than Damien's, they could feel the ominous aura filling the room even though they didn't feel any pressure. It was as if the ominous aura was giving them the chills.
Valentina cowered as she frantically bowed and said in an apologetic tone, "F-Forgive me, Master! This disciple overstepped her boundaries. I won't repeat it."
Damien waved his sleeves in a vexed manner, "Hmph, you think a simple apology would suffice for your crude tongue? I won't force you to help them, but if you truly see me as your master, you will agree to help them. And that's final. You have five seconds to decide."
Valentina cocked her head and looked at Damien with an aggrieved expression, "Master...that is not fair."
"Three seconds…" Damien said in a hard tone, remaining unfazed.
Herwin and Harvey decided to hold in their anger just as they saw Alchemist Azrael being angry and stern at Valentina and putting her in a spot to make a decision.  
If Valentina truly respects her master, they were sure that she would agree to help them. And they knew that if she refuses, then Alchemist Azrael's opinion of her would take a downturn, and she wouldn't get preferential treatment from him anymore.
They thought that Valentina obviously should know about this fact. They also liked how Alchemist Azrael was taking his anger out on her for them, and seeing her cower satisfied them even though she was cowering before her master.
Valentina bit her lip and finally said, "Okay. I will help but only with certain conditions."
Everyone's eyes lit up hearing her even though she mentioned she would help only under some conditions. At least, things were looking way better now.  
Herwin and Harvey were inwardly satisfied, seeing that she did care about her master's face and wanted to send a thumbs up to Alchemist Azrael for pressurizing her.
Damien asked in a stiff tone, "Fine. What are those conditions?"
Everyone's ears perked up, wondering what kind of conditions she was going to propose, and felt that she was shameless to extort benefits from them.
Valentina's expression became clear as she said firmly, "One, I want to annul the agreement I had with my master. No matter who wins for the competition between Damien and Roy, I will still follow my wishes and decide whom to date."
Damien clenched his fists and raised his finger as if he was about to say something but then sighed as he receded his hand, "Fine. Compared to the future of these kids, such an agreement doesn't have any value. I hereby free you from that agreement."
Damien then looked at the patriarchs and asked them, "I hope this is fine. I am sure you two also feel the same as I do."
Herwin had a discontent expression, while Harvey's expressions didn't change as he couldn't care less about some stupid agreement that didn't even concern him or his daughter.
Herwin had been daydreaming for the past few weeks, thinking how his status and wealth would rise even further by joining Roy and Valentina in an official marriage. He could create a strong bond with Alchemist Azrael and further his influence till his family's power overshadows the rest of the four families.
However, now he felt as if all his dreams were shattered and couldn't feel more frustrated about it. But weighing his options, obviously, his family's future outweighed the need of desiring to have more power with the help of Alchemist Azrael.
If Roy isn't saved now, he was sure that his family would be ruled by retards or inept people like Cedric Clive, who would only bring down his family even more, and Roy would end up rotting in a bed somewhere in a corner of his mansion.
With a sigh of resignation, he said, "Yes...it is fine with me."
Damien inwardly chuckled, seeing his expression, and turned to Valentina, "Okay, what is your next condition? Don't put up too many conditions because my patience is running thin."
Valentina faintly smiled, "My second and final condition is that Roy and Dennisa should apologize to me by kowtowing before me for being a nuisance to me and Damien."
Herwin and Harvey's expression inflamed as they gritted their teeth. Even the crestfallen figures in the side, Dennisa and Roy wondered if they heard it right.  
Kowtow before a junior? How dare she!...Dennisa and Roy inwardly screamed in a fury.
Kowtowing was equivalent to showing obsequious deference to someone, and it was a gesture reserved only for one's masters or parents. But here, a young girl was asking them, her seniors, to kowtow and apologize to her.
It was no different than tearing up their only leftover reputations and that of their families. Even if they got cured of this strange disease on their bodies, would they be able to walk with their heads high whenever they see Valentina?
Or what if she decides to be shameless and spread the news of them kowtowing before her? They couldn't imagine the humiliation they would have to bear and the looks on the faces of their fathers.
They couldn't see which was better...kowtowing before her and having a chance to get cured of the ugly disease on their bodies or cripple their future?
It seemed like the former seemed better, but at the same time, they felt as if it was no different than the latter in a way. In their whole lives, other than their masters or parents, they never had to kowtow to anyone, not even the imperial family.
But Valentina was just their junior without having a very exalted status. At least, her status was still below the main members of the imperial family, who were the only ones they considered superior to them.
If they were asked to kowtow before the Ethereal Fairy, Roy would gladly do it while Dennisa would do it while bearing some indignation in her heart but nothing more as they knew their places.
"Valentina, don't push this too far. A simple apology would have still been acceptable, but how could you ask them to kowtow? Don't you realize who you are talking to?" Damien said in a severe tone.
The patriarchs felt as if Alchemist Azrael took the words right out of their mouths and subtly glared at Valentina while still trying to restrain their raging emotions.
Valentina's expression didn't falter as she said confidently, "Master, I am actually being generous. I first thought of asking them to kowtow before Damien as well since they tried to bully him. But I decided to be more forgiving and decided not to ask them to do that as well. If I wasn't there, they might have left him in a half-dead state."
The patriarchs and their heirs clenched their teeth as they felt mad enough to chew nails, hearing that she was actually 'generous' with her conditions.
They never thought that Valentina could be so audacious and outrageous with her conditions. Roy and Dennisa couldn't even in their dreams imagine kowtowing to Damien. They would rather kowtow to a pig than see the mocking smile on his face as they kowtow to him.
Valentina's intoxicating face now seemed like a demoness face to them, wishing that they don't want to deal with such a person ever again.
Damien sighed as he looked at the expressions of bitterness and indignation on the faces of the patriarchs and said in a helpless tone, "My disciple is too out of line. But I can only do so much, and I can't break my promise and force her to do things. I will now leave the final decision to you two."


He was chased to the very ends of the earth by those he once protected.

Word had quickly spread about the incident that happened at the red sparrow merchant tent.
A few minutes later, some men came to pick Ward, leaving quietly.
People begin to gather in front of the red sparrow tent.

"Do you know what happened"

"I don't know, but some people saw him sent flying out of the tent" 

" By who?"

"That I don't know" 

" Is it possible that a hidden expert is guiding the alchemist?"

" What do you think?"

" I can't say, an alchemist that can make legendary pills will be something far from ordinary"

Some of the crowd nodded their heads when they heard that. Out of the crowd, a man said " I hope the hidden master is strong enough to contend against all the arrogant noble Lord's" 

" That Doesn't matter, since he had made an example out from an early essence building realm stage 2 with a single punch" 

" I hope so"

" The power struggle doesn't have anything to do with us"

"Mhmm"

" Let watch out how everything unfold"

With the various murmuring and gossip coming from the crowd, the red sparrow staff were all panicking. Song had a bid of sweat on her forehead, she trembles a little. She struggles to control her nervousness.

" I hope the noble families did not cause any problem for the red sparrow merchant group," she thought.

A middle-aged woman in her mid-forties entered the red sparrow tent along with a young lady in her mid-twenties.
She looked at everyone in disdain, her egotism had no bounds.

" Am Ida and this Brettle. We are from the Areola family," the middle-aged woman said.

Song approach them and smile " welcome Madam Ida and Miss Brettle"

Ida smiles, she does not show any loftiness of the noble people while Brettle looks at her snobbishly, looking at the surrounding with contempt.

Song ignored Brettle rude behavior " how may I be of help to you," she said smiling.

" We are here to meet the legendary alchemist," Ida said.

" No problem, you just have to show me what you wanted to offer the alchemist before I can allow you to meet the alchemist"

" Humph" 

" What type of alchemist would demand to meet them? If we are here to talk, are we to make an offer, hmmm?" Brettle said with her eyebrow raised, looking at her scornfully.

Ida did not try to caution Brettle, she had the same thought as her.

Song continues to smile, " the esteemed alchemist did not have all the time to have any meaningless conversation with anybody who had nothing to offer. If you are not here for pills, you can take your leave," she said pointing her finger to the exit.

" Even though we are from a middle-class family, that doesn't mean you can trample on our dignity, hmm. We had already gone against one noble family, what's there in adding you to the list, mtcheew, let see how you are going to meet the alchemist without me," Song thought.

Ida was furious when she heard what Song said.
"Meaningless talk! Do you know am representing my whole family, do you want to go against my family, hmm" 
 
" Family again! Ah!" 

Song look at her nonchalantly, she had her smiles all over her face " when you're ready, you can notify me" 

She walked away from their presence, shaking her wide hips, giggling.

Realizing Song had just walked away from their presence while making jest of them. Ida and Brettle were dumbfounded, their anger boiling as their eyes almost popped out of their socket.

Ida and Brettle keep on trying to keep their fury in check, the unknown hidden expert makes them wary of what may happen if they show some hostility.

Ida and Brettle looked at each other, they did not know what to do. Should they go back or show what they wanted to offer which they did not prepare for.

Ida sighed, she and Brettle walked out of the red sparrow filled with shame. Brettle hid her face behind Ida's back. The crowd looks at them mockingly.

" Mtcheew"

" Humph"

" They had nothing to offer and they behave like a royal family, mtcheew, morons"

" Empty shell"

Ida almost Tripp when she heard that. Quickly, with a large stride, Ida and Brettle scurried away timidly not having the courage to look at the crowd.

They thought they could at least have a conversation with the alchemist and lure the alchemist into their family with a tempting reward.
But everything went south when they were asked to present their offer before they were allowed to see the alchemist, not even in their wildest dreams will they believe with their family background they will be looked down upon by ordinary people.

Ida and Brettle couldn't be blamed, everybody in the sky polar empire will have to give them a face when they hear the name Areola family, except this mysterious alchemist whose origin is still unknown.

An elderly man dressed in an expensive red robe walked in. Having learned from the past experience, he said in all humbleness " Arce of Watson Family, am here to see the legendary alchemist"

The boy behind the counter had been astounded, the aura coming from the elderly man was too great. He stutters " well….come....hmmm….Mr....let me get the manager"
He dashed out before the man could utter any word.

" Hmmh "

"That was new, " Arce thought.

Song approach Arce with her heavenly smile " welcome Mr. Arce, I believe you know the procedure" she asked.

" Yes, am well prepared"

" That good, please follow me"

Walking inside the inner chamber, a couch, and a table with different fruits on top were placed inside a basket.

" Please have your seat," Song said while taking her seat.

"Mhmm"

Song stared at the elderly man sitting adjacent to her, she smiled.

" Is she on a pill that makes her smile all the time, hmm?" Arce thought with his lips twitch a little.

"Please show your offer," Song said.

Nodding his head, Arce swapped his hand on his storage ring.

" Whisss"

The corpse of BLACK SMOKE MONSTER COW appears on the floor.
Song gasped, fixing her gaze on the body parts of the rank 2 black smoke monster cow, her jaw dropped.

" As expected of one of the strongest families in the empire," she thought in awe.

Witnessing her reaction, Arce was pleased. He smiled raising his chest up 
" I believe these should be enough"  raising his eyebrows.

" Mhmm"

Author's note; I hint at a little bit of adult time in the last couple of paragraphs...


There were many rumours flying about the institute about the man named Jin Li.  Some were idle gossip, such as how he was unruly, seldom attended lectures and destructive tendencies (this latter was towards combat dummies, however oddly enough or perhaps not, this part was not mentioned).  There were the more pink rumours that he was handsome, his fighting form elegant and refined and he respected women, not looking down on them as the weaker sex when it came to martial arts.  He'd been linked to many a belle, including the Twin Lotuses, which had drawn the jealousy of others, so much so that he'd fought with seniors as well fellow first years and there was no mention of him losing these battles.

He was rumoured to be a fallen noble, cast out with just the silk upon his back, but he still walked around with a regal air as if such a set back meant nothing to him.  He had taken on missions that were usually picked only by seniors and completed them.  He'd easily beaten many wild spiritual beasts as he sought to gain experience in the mountains.  He'd gained the recognition of Teacher Corne's only student as well as the eccentric Teacher Corvus and a few others.  And an odd, generally unknown, little alchemist with Yin Yang hair was said to be under his protection.

Thus when the young Master realised that this was the Jin Li, who had fought the Barbarian (the senior berserker, who happened to later win his way into the martial arts inner school) and had drawn with him, he'd realised his mistake and decidedly turned tail.

These rumours and long tales that floated about the institute had either not yet reached the ears of he who was at the centre of them or more likely, he simply did not care.  Right now all of his attention was upon the watery eyes of his beloved alchemist and the swollen lips beneath them.

After circling the Festival grounds for a little longer, they had returned home, bringing back the trove of 'treasures' as well as a couple of books on herbs and medicinal tea, the medicinal wine and two cute jade ornaments, one of a koi fish and one of a lion cub.  The latter had been picked by Jin Li, who felt it resembled a certain someone.  Leon had quickly cooked a pot of rice, stir fried some vegetables and mixed together a fragrant chilli sauce to bring it all together and the pair had sat down to eat.  After the meal, Leon had expressed his wish to taste the medicinal wine.

The wine was fruity and easy to drink, with a pleasant aftertaste.  The spiritual energies within were pure and as Leon's belly warmed, his meridians drew the energies into themselves and he'd circulated them just once before they settled into his innersea.  However, it was still alcohol, something small Leon was still not accustomed to and even after one cup did he glance over at Jin Li with misty, sanguine eyes, causing the other to down his cup before dragging him to the bed to devour his mouth and entangle their tongues.

It was just a pity, Leon felt, as Jin Li pulled him into his chest as he slept, that it never went any further.  

The poor alchemist was at his limit, teased so many times yet having to will away each and every time the results of Jin Li's seductions.  And with the Medicinal Wine's slight side effects still coursing through his blood, it was a restless night that followed as it didn't turn limp until dawn.  And not long after his eyes finally closed in order to sleep, was he tossed beneath the infuriating man and not in a productive way!

Jin Li, oblivious to Leon's discomfort, had wanted to kiss him farewell, for he'd promised Senior Bowyer a duel and the latter had declared it must be on this day, or rather, that morning.  For Bowyer was due to go out on a mission that would take a few weeks, but wanted one last round with his junior before he left.  Jin Li had not been able to get out of it.

"I'll come back this evening," Jin Li advised him, after he saw that his small alchemist was too tired to follow him.

Leon fell asleep soon after due to sheer exhaustion.

It's said that our wishes and deeds are often portrayed in our dreams and Leon could quite well agree with this for his could only be described as eighteen plus and requiring some censorship.  When he awoke a few hours later, it was with a reddened face, a rather sticky and damp patch as well as still suffering a morning affliction... just in the afternoon instead.

With a sigh, he rose from his bed and shuffled uncomfortably to his makeshift bathroom, reaching for the bucket and beginning the arduous task of filling the bath and heating the water.  After quickly reheating some left over rice into a congee and quickly eating it, his bath was ready for him to soak in.  His robes were tossed to one side, he would try and clean the mess from within the undergarment after his bath.  He crouched in the small tub wiping away the remnants of his dreams all the while cursing Jin Li for causing this.

He wanted to say; you don't have to suppress yourself, I want you too!  He wanted to say; let me touch you, let me please you, let's resolve this together.  But Jin Li usually left him breathless and tongue-tied.  That and he'd never done that sort of thing in his past life, so what experience did he have that he could claim to release Jin Li from the need to suppress through some mental technique?

Glancing down at that part of him which expressed itself far more clearly than Leon was able to, yet was still ignored by the frustrating martial artist, his fingers reached out tentatively, wrapping around the stiff object.  Upon touching the sensitive part, a slight hiss escaped him.  It ached to be touched, but it really ached to be touched by Jin Li.  Leon wanted Jin Li's hand to be the one stroking along its length, or dare he think it, replacing hand with mouth.  A shudder shot down his spine as he imagined it, imagined his lover teasing the column and the head of it and a groan escaped his lips; "Jin Li...!"

"You dare...?"

Leon died very peacefully and quietly in his home world, in fact he hadn’t even been aware of his death.

When he awoke, he wished he had died.

Now he is in a world where the strong are merciless to the weak and the weak strive to be strong.  But he doesn’t care about all that, he’s too busy looking for his glasses.

Anyone who realized that they had been eating shit would probably cuss. Furthermore, Redjoy was a lofty princess. She was germaphobic as well. Even when she ate pills, she found it impossible to tolerate any that were refined from things like feces, much less wanting it anywhere near her meals!
She only felt the disgust in her stomach grow. She subconsciously covered her mouth as her face turned pale. Her face was twisted into a grimace.
She wished she could pull out her digestive tract and wash it clean for three days and three nights.
Behind Princess Redjoy were many of her friends. They too were regular customers at Brightheart Veranda. They were all of noble birth and wealthy. Some even came from the royal family.
When it came to status, they were a step above the rest and were naturally proud people. Their patronage of Brightheart Veranda was supposed to be a fashionable and elegant luxury but now, with this revelation, they were close to going mad.
Some of the girls led charmed lives and were placed on a pedestal by others. They could no longer bear it. Some covered their mouths as they ran out to retch.
Only then did they figure out the true meaning behind Yi Yun's playful insult—Why does your mouth stink? Did you just eat shit? It wasn't that Yi Yun was cussing Princess Redjoy, but that he was subtly mocking her for having really eaten shit.
In the hearts of the crowd, eating shit was something that should never actually happen. Even the mentally handicapped or retards would not eat it. But now, it had happened to them. For years, they had treated eating shit like it was fashionable, something that they could brag about.
"Ah! Ah! Ah! I'll kill you!"
Princess Redjoy burst into a rage. The series of events that had just happened struck a nerve. She was already feeling angry from her embarrassment. With the final revelation that she had been eating shit, she felt like blowing her top!
She wanted to beat Alchemist Zhang badly but, after weighing their strengths, she knew very well that she was no match for Alchemist Zhang. 
She also hated the perpetrator, Yi Yun.
Although Yi Yun had revealed the truth to her, he had mocked her in public. It embarrassed her greatly. She was of royal birth, so how was she to establish herself in the Outcloud Empire in the future?
She could imagine that when people saw her in the future, they would no longer be respectful or ashamed of their own ungainly appearances. Instead, they would say behind her back—"Isn't she that princess who ate shit?"
Just the thought of that made Princess Redjoy go berserk.
"What's the matter? Why are you looking at me as though you want to kill me? Don't tell me you want to fight me? I have rescued you from the abyss of shit-eating, but not only are you not grateful, you actually want to repay kindness with ingratitude?" said Yi Yun with a laugh. 
He knew that many a time, people lived in their dreams. And once a person jolted them awake and away from their beautiful dreams, that person would incur the wrath of the dreamer.
Upon hearing Yi Yun's words, Princess Redjoy turned green from anger. This darn Yi Yun kept harping on her for eating shit. It was striking a raw nerve.
She wished she could rip apart Yi Yun's mouth but she did not dare take action. She was afraid that while fighting Yi Yun, he would constantly talk about eating shit. She would suffer a mental breakdown before she could even deliver a few blows!
She did not dare look at Yi Yun anymore. Instead, she looked at Manager Su. This woman had nearly become her godsister and had treated her kindly in a variety of ways. But now, thinking back to how she was treated, Princess Redjoy felt like vomiting. It felt no different from eating the Love Seeking Phoenix In Clouds.
Manager Su shuddered when she saw Princess Redjoy staring at her. She was at a loss for an explanation. At that moment, Princess Redjoy said coldly, "Third Uncle, send people to surround this Brightheart Veranda!"
Upon hearing the command, the color in Manager Su's face drained. Thoughts jumbled in her mind but she knew very well that the reputation of Brightheart Veranda was completely destroyed after today!
The Brightheart Veranda might have had the Pillheart Sect backing it, but the moment they got into open conflict with the Cloud Pool City, ignoring who ended up suffering the most, she as the manager would be culpable. When she returned to the sect, she would definitely be punished or even exiled.
"Alchemist… Alchemist Zhang…"
Manager Su was at a loss as she pleaded with Alchemist Zhang. However, he was hardly able to save himself. The pills he had personally refined and melted had been restored by a junior. What was left of his reputation?
The situation was already out of control. Aside from Princess Redjoy, there were also her many friends from lustrous backgrounds. They wielded all kinds of power in Cloud Pool City, and the news of Brightheart Veranda feeding people shit would instantly spread and make it a target of public outrage. To the many young elites present, harming their vital potential was an intolerable offense.
There were already people who had lit voice transmission charms and spread the news. Their statuses guaranteed that they would not suffer this in silence.
"Zhang Linze, even if the Pillheart Sect is backing you, you have to answer for this matter. I do not care about the bit of Spirit Jade I've wasted here but I will not abide being treated like a fool." 
A young man spoke out. He was of esteemed birth for his father was the Outcloud Empire's Imperial Preceptor. In addition, he had extraordinary talent and his standing was superior to Princess Redjoy's. He was one of the top guests at Princess Redjoy's birthday celebration.
Alchemist Zhang did not reply. His expression was heavy. He was the person in charge of the businesses outside the Pillheart Sect. How the Brightheart Veranda sold its dishes and how it was managed were his sole responsibility. He had decided to use the ignoble pill recipe for the dishes. That decision ended up being highly lucrative for the Brightheart Veranda and as a result, his standing in the Pillheart Sect had greatly risen. But with this sudden turn of events, he had severely damaged the Pillheart Sect's reputation. It would definitely push the blame on him.
All of this was because of Yi Yun!
He stared at Yi Yun, yearning to rip out his soul and destroy the body, obliterating all traces of his corpse!
But Yi Yun was unfazed by Zhang Linze's murderous glare. He stroked his chin and waved the beautifying pill in his hand and said, "I'll bring this pill with me. Those who want this pill recipe analyzed can follow me."
"Princess Redjoy, although you wished to keep me for your banquet, I really am not interested in the Brightheart Veranda's 'dishes.' I shall not impede your birthday celebration any further. Enjoy your meal and the company. We will be leaving first."
He beckoned for Jing Yuesha and company to leave. At that moment, Jing Yuesha had yet to completely jolt out of her daze. She never expected the situation to develop to this point. She even began to feel pity for Princess Redjoy.
Just the thought of Princess Redjoy eating shit and praising it before recommending it to her friends was something Jing Yuesha did not want to continue entertaining.
As someone removed from the matter, she felt tear-inducing embarrassment. It was obvious how the people directly involved in the matter, Princess Redjoy and the genius elites, would feel.
Thankfully, she had never used the VIP card that the Brightheart Veranda had given her. If not, she would also wish to have her stomach pumped.
"Yuesha, let's go," Clear Lunar Island Lord said. There was no reason to continue staying at that point in time.
After being squeezed by Princess Redjoy and then humiliated by Manager Su, then the shocking reveal, she had left Brightheart Veranda without eating a meal. Yet, there was cause to be relieved about that.
Clear Lunar Island Lord gave Yi Yun a thoughtful look. The entire reversal was unimaginable but Yi Yun had accomplished it.
How did the youth know the Brightheart Veranda's ancient recipe? Furthermore, he could tell at a glance. That was definitely not something anyone could accomplish.


With the strongest experts from the 33 Skies the Human Emperor, Lin Ming, and his opponent, the Abyssal Demon King, were embroiled in a final battle. He, as well as all those present at the meetings were well informed of who this Alchemist was and represented. A White Wizard, possibly the last of his kind, the sacred creators of the Gods themselves. But that was all before he took up residence on Earth. That was an order decreed from Zakaroid himself to watch over their precious Chosen One since she was born. So, he was definitely human now as the Gods rules were specifichis immortality had to be extinguished if he wants to stay in the mortal world to fit in. Kalvich had laughed at that stage. 
The Supreme Ruler had felt the time was right to make sure all his commanders and Verone Elite were kept informed of what he deemed as necessary information but none were to mention a word from their private meetings to the warriors en masse. Kalvich had stated a Ceremony for the Chosen One was going to be arranged once he had Cemel under control. But that was further down the track. 
Details will follow, depending on progress. Then, my brothers, I will show you powers beyond your imagination.
Even Teo, who was considered the most cynical and sadistic of all was enthralled by the Supreme Rulers sales pitch. Maybe it was those red flames dancing in the pupils that never failed to remind the Trimadians of just who held the real power. 
He warned Teo specifically that the Alchemist had certain gifts, including the art of telepathy. Therefore, he was skilled in the art of blocking his thoughts upon interrogation. Perhaps you would like to loosen him up as I just do not have the time. But do not kill him. Just tenderise.
That comment brought forth a stream of laughter.
Teo placed his face a few inches above Cemels.
Tell me about the queen old man what do you have planned for her?
Cemel didnt answer.
Let me tell you a story about your little queenie. She had the audacity to try and kill me. He proudly pointed to the scar on his throat. Ha Ha Ha. God knows why. Perhaps she did not like the way I grabbed her while she was serving us a while ago. Of course I apologized for insulting herobviously not good enough for the stuck up bitch. You know our Supreme Ruler has her posing as his personal Salet. I never knew she was your leader until recently. Well, she entertained us a few nights ago and demonstrated her fighting skills, and, admittedly, she is very good. Her cunning unpredictability even showed me up by the taste of her knife. But dont you fret nowI do get over incidences like these and I hold no grudge. I have been in countless battles, and Im used to attempted assassinationshmmm she can join my team anyday. Never mind, I assure you I am never going to make that mistake again. If she ever tries again, she will learn all about Teo the terrible and what I can do to her.
Teo enjoyed seeing the malice reflecting in his victims eyes and carried on.
 She is born of this world but destined for greatness, a new evolutionary phase, courtesy of the Gods themselves. That could mean a world of things. Do you really believe this to be true for your humans! You are but weak mortals not worthy of evolutionising to any stage but extinction.  
Teo laughed at his perverse joke.
He didnt expect any answers to his rhetoric, but that wouldnt stop him from torturing the old fool. Very soon, he was going to enjoy implanting this pathetic example of skin and bone called human. As long as it kept his leader happy, who cares?
Lord Teo was a skilful predator in the full sense of the word. Torture was an art and he considered himself a cultivated artist in his chosen line of profession. 
His mind drifted over to Leah. He enjoyed her show of fighting skills and Kalvich had created a wonderful setting to enhance his disguised queen using the holo-characters he had created. He had several wet dreams since that episode, and what he wanted to do to her, real badly. How he would just love to get his hands on her soft, fair skin and inflict sweet pain, make her beg him to stop, to see her eyes plead with him. Perhaps one day he would manage to get this attractive, fiesty queen alone, teach her his own brand of Trimadian mating rituals. Ahh, he must stop torturing himself over something that could only happen except in his dreams.
YOU LEAVE HER ALONE OR I WILL CUT YOU TO PIECES YOU EVIL DIRTY MALIGNANT SCUM.
The voice shouting inside his head almost sat him on his backside. Cemels eyes blazed at him. Teo almost expected them to turn red.
Quickly gaining control, he lowered his voice to a menacing monotone. So I have your attention now old fool. Nice to see you have the telepathy gift but you are certainly not immortal.
Teo touched a screen on the computer that sent a shock wave through the connections in the wires attached to crucial nerves. It was so powerful, that on full power, if used on a Trimadian, it could possibly expunge and kill the Cathexistome and therefore the host too. Well that was the theory, Teo had never used it on a warrior before, and he had no need, yet. 
In this case, at half power, Cemel gritted his teeth but then gasped as his body protected itself and rendered him unconscious. His tormentor patiently waited for him to come round as he wanted to make sure the old man was wide awake for this new procedure. He wanted to record every detail with Cemel awake for the glory of science.  
When he came to, Teo smiled and gestured over to a tank containing a Cathexistome. Congratulations wizard, you are now going to be my first human implantion. Oh but dont worry, there will be some more deserving and finer specimens of humans that will duly receive their gift on Heliostronus.
Teo couldnt stop smiling as his men dragged Cemel into the operating room.
At the same time Teos mind was torturing itself over Leah. The queen had more than made up her mind about Teo. 
She would seek out Teo, finish what she had set out to do, while he was alone and no one to help him before she chickened out. Question was, how would she get past her guards? 
While her mind began sorting out details, there was a quiet knock on her door and it opened before she could say enter. 
Kalvich strode in, his expression looked serious. He had spoken little about the assassination attempt and most surprisingly to Leah, quickly forgiven her. His anger toward her only became controlled thanks to his discipline. Quickly he analyzed how this incident could be, in fact, beneficial. His initial furiously driven telepathic message advising her Teo was alive and healthy should be punishment enough. She had been warned by both he and Xarva, but she ignored them.
Kalvich was under no illusion that she loathed the sadistical commander, perhaps even more than himself. But on the other side, Leah had indeed showed the potential of a formidable weaponcatching him and seasoned Trimadian warlords totally unaware by a mere female. In all, he was extremely proud of her, but kept it to himself. Besides wanting to keep her natural unpredictability fresh, those seasoned warlords egos had been bent out of shape, and in front of the Supreme Ruler. Retribution towards her while she was still a salet, and mortal, was standing on dangerous ground.  
All in all his queens actions predisposed the exact direction of where he wanted her to be. 
Now for the next step.
Kalvichs face instantly softened. The sight of her always made him feel good, especially seeing her lying, relaxed on her bed.  
Do you feel up to dinner with me?  Join me, by my side with my men tonight. They know it was you entertaining them with your fight demonstration. They respect youthat I can most assure you.
He waited for a reaction but received none.
Good newsCemel will be dining tonight, and I assure you he is in good spirits. You may even sit beside him if you wish. 
Leah fought off the alarm bells ringing, slowly rolled off her bed and stood in front of him. Almost ritually she curtsied and quietly thanked him. She was grateful he had not really punished her for her murderous act toward Teo. 
The urge to draw her to him almost sent him over the edge. She appeared in his dreams and yet she was right here. His patience was so painfully stretched. He inwardly groanedone kiss.
He took her hand and kissed it. 
I will escort you myself in one hour, he bowed slightly and turned to leave, just as he reached the door she spoke in her soft musical voice he had not heard for an eternity. 
Will Lord Teo be present?
He turned, ready to reassure her she was perfectly safe, Of course, but after that err performance with him, he will not dream to go near you. He has been in countless battles so it is nothing new, do not concern yourself.  Leah feigned her look of concern well. 
I will see you lateroh and I have a small surprise for youin your bathroom.
She watched Kalvich leave. Hmp the Gods must be smiling down on her. She had her own brand of surprise for Lord Teo. 
She wandered into her bathroom.
Her huge bath was invitingly filled with aromatic, warm water with rose petals scattered. By the time she was ready for Kalvich to arrive, the water was still clean and the temperature had stayed the same.  
For a Cantal, as soon as a Cathexistome is implanted the hosts physical and mental demeanours become switched on like an Avrodite crystal. Drawing out the raw desire to control, subvert and destroy. The appropriate discipline, focus and obedience follows coupled with intense training sessions. Over time, loyalty is inevitable to their leader, especially when the gift of superior strength, excellent health and longevity is all part of the joining. Nothing had changed since the Cathexistomes forced the first implantation onto the rudimentary physical creatures in the name of survivial eons ago.
On all counts Cemel was not really a good choice as a human guinea pig. Both physically and mentally he was, well at first, pretty skilled at trying to fight the evil entity taking over. Teo had observed at first, what he termed as flashes of  a change in personality but he was very strong due to the fact he was a White Wizard. Teo, in all honesty couldnt careless as he knew the old man would weaken down and succumb to Kalvichs wishes sooner or later. He really got off by torturing the Alchemist for his own amusement. Teo had casually mentioned to Kalvich that once the stones were presented to Leah, they really had no need to keep the Alchemist alive. 
Kalvich ordered him to keep him alive as experience dictated he could never trust the Alchemist. Aside from his mortality, Kalvich regarded the Alchemist the exact opposite of himself, though he would never ever mention that out loud. He needed to keep his enemy subdued and very close. 
Lord Teo relaxed as the process took place. Besides, the Cathexistome would eventual win. It always did.  
He grinned roguishly. Yes it was truekeep your friends close and your enemies well and truly tortured!
