The Shadow is what this story is about and this is a short story covering a serious topic.

Salty air mixed well with the sound of waves crashing up against Kuro's small boat. He took a big breath in through his nose, "I'm Kuro D. Dragon, and I'm gonna be king of the pirates!" He shouted to his friends and family waving him goodbye back at the port. He looked back, then thought to himself, there's no point in going back now. From now on, I look ahead and Keep  looking forward. Kuro was set on becoming king of the pirates, and nothing is going to stop him. Millions of thoughts buzzed around inside his head, and for a moment, Kuro didn't know what to do next. But it soon came to him, "I'm tired! I'm gonna take a nap..." He sank into the small boat, let his hair cover his eyes, and drifted to sleep.
Kuro's boat slid onto shore, and Kuro felt the waves stop pounding up against the boat. He wrenched his eyes open and sat up wearily, "I'm Here already? Wait, Where am I?"
"You're in Shells Town" A strange voice answered
Kuro jumped up and looked around, "Who was that?" Cautiously, Kuro stepped out of the boat and walked a few feet forward. A hand tapped him on the shoulder and Kuro turned around in time to see him standing there, "Don't worry, I'm not going to attack. My name's Dragon W. Harp, what's yours?" Harp explained
"I'm Kuro D. Dragon, nice to meet ya!" Kuro shook his hand. Weird choice of clothing, he's wearing silver pants, a silver sleeveless jacket, and he has very wild, black hair and sandals. "Wait, are you related to the Yonko of stamina, Sai D. Dragon!?" Harp asks, half expecting Kuro to say yes. "Nope! I've never even heard of Sai D. Dragon!" Kuro answers,
"Okay, you guys have the same last name so I assumed you're related to him."
Kuro jumps out onto the sand and runs into the village, "Lets get something to eat, I'm starving!"
Harp follows quickly behind, his speed matching Kuro's, "Race ya!" Harp challenges, "You're on!" Kuro races ahead, but Harp catches up with plenty of energy to spare, and at this point, they're within sprinting distance. Harp takes the risk and bolts ahead, leaving Kuro behind. Kuro races up next to him, burning his legs up in the process. They're about to reach the door, when someone walks up to the door and opens it, taking their time while doing it. Both Kuro and Harp realise they're going too fast, so instead of running through the door and ending the race, Kuro stops dead in his tracks and Harp slams into the back of him.
While Kuro and Harp bicker in the background, the stranger takes a step back, closes the door and walks away. Harp and Kuro stand there, watching the infuriating sight with their jaws dropped to the ground. Soon after, Harp and Kuro make a final dash for the door, moving in sync they both slam into the door. With their mouths pressed up against the glass, they mumble, "That hurt..." Harp and Kuro step away from the door, then agree to go in one at a time. Kuro walked in first, Harp followed eagerly behind. The two walked to the counter, ordered their meal and sat down at a nearby table and talked, "Hey, you wanna join my pirate crew!?" Kuro asks, "Yeah, sure. I don't have anything better to do around here," Harp replied. "Yeah! I have a... What are you?" Kuro wondered, "I'm a swordsman, that's why I have these swords," he answered, "What's your style?" Kuro asked curiously, "Two sword style, I only have four of them so if I decide to turn it up a notch, I can use them," Harp explained.
A waitress brought their food over and Kuro happily payed for the meals. The two started eating at their top speeds, finishing the meals within seconds. "Hey, isn't there a marines base here?" Kuro asked, "Yeah, I think so. We could go up there and beat 'em up, what do you say?"
"Yeah! Lets do it!" Kuro agreed. The two ran up the hill that led to the marines camp that was overlooking the small village. There was a bricked fence with a wide, tall gate that wouldn't open. Kuro improvised and started to climb the tall wall, Harp followed next to him. They would soon reach the top of the wall, jump over it and sneakily infiltrate the marines camp, "How are we gonna do this?" Harp asked, "We try and find the marines captain of this camp and take him down" Kuro whispered back

Kuro and Harp snuck around the marine base for a while, not even knowing where they where going, until they reached the top of the massive building that was perched atop the camp. They walked out in the open, for all of the marines to see. The marines crowded around them, "Who are they?" "What are they doing here?" Was all the two could hear around them. "Execute them!" The captain ordered, "You take down all of the marines, I'm going for the captain" Kuro told Harp. Harp unsheathed two of his swords and held them still. He flexed his muscled as hard as he could and focused on a big group of marines, "Seven Deadly Slashes!" Harp shouts as he slashes wildly at the group of marines, "There, I've taken care of the marines, go get the captain Kuro!" Kuro bolts towards the captain and fires a punch into his shoulder. Before the heavy punch had time to hit, the captain had blocked it with a shell, "What was that!?" Kuro yelled, "It's called Shell-Shell No Mi, it lets me create seastone shells on any part of my body," the captain explained, "And you should know who's about to kill you. My name's Captain Marrow The Undying," Marrow told him, "Fair point, my name's Kuro D. Dragon." He has an interesting choice of fashion. He has glasses, always seems to have a cigarette, wears a blue and white-striped vest under his marine jacket, blonde hair, and uh... "You have wings!?" Kuro exclaims, "I'm a Skypiean, I was born with these wings and can use them to fly," Marrow explained. Kuro seized the opportunity and landed a punch on Marrow's chest, with which he followed up with a kick to the shins, "Stretchy-Stretchy Focused Gatling!" Marrow covers his entire body with seastone shell while Kuro charges the attack. Kuro pulled his arms back to inhuman lengths and held them there for a moment. Before long, Kuro had enough power to crack the shell into pieces and send Marrow air-born. Kuro fired his hands forward into Marrow's chest and kept punching in a barrage of Gatling shots focused on his chest. Kuro's barrage of punches ended quickly, doing the job efficiently and thoroughly, sending him air-born as planned. Kuro cycled through his list of awesome finishing moves, "Got it! Stretchy-Stretchy Million Fist!" Kuro's hands launch behind him, then nearly instantly fired forward and repeated the barrage of Gatling shots, only this time the punches weren't directed at any body part, his whole body took the hits. Kuro grabbed Marrow and stretched his arm up as far as it would go, then started bringing him down as fast and as hard as he could, "Play Dead!" He exclaimed angrily as he smashed Marrow into the ground. Marrow broke through the top of the building, crashed through the bottom.
"Well I say we get outta here!" Harp shouted. One half of the building was drifting apart from the other as Kuro and Harp ran down the side of it, "What devil fruit did you use?" Harp asked, "It's called Stretchy-Stretchy No Mi," Kuro answered. Before long, Kuro and Harp had reached the base of the structure and were dashing to the gate, "Nice moves out their," Kuro complimented, "Thanks"  
Harp and Kuro reached the gate, climbed the bricked fence and made a run for the village. They got there in time to see the building above the camp collapse onto the base, "That was awesome!" Kuro and Harp exclaimed in unity. They ran to a nearby restaurant to buy some food in celebration of their awesome victory. They sat down at a table and waited for their food, "So, we've done everything fun on this island, where should we go next?"
"You're not going anywhere!" A weary voice yells from the door. Harp and Kuro look to see who it is, then their expressions turn from happy to serious. Marrow was back to try and finish Kuro and Harp. Harp unsheathed his swords, this time using two in each hand. Kuro readied his arms for an attack by pulling them back behind him, stretching them as far as they could. Harp Held his swords in place readying himself as well. Together, they fire their attacks at max power, "Seventh Deadly Ring!" They exclaimed together. Harp uses his Seven Deadly Slashes, while Kuro uses a move Harp hadn't seen yet. Kuro twists his arms in a ring-like way, grabs Marrow and untwists his arms, spinning Marrow rapidly in place, leaving him vulnerable for Harp's Seven Deadly Slashes. Harp seizes the opportunity and uses the attack with all of his energy. Each hit pierced more than it would have because he was spinning, making the hits all the more deadly. "I'm gonna be king of the pirates, and you're not gonna stop me!" Kuro exclaims. Marrow lands on his face, gets up, "Is that... All you... Got?" He managed to get out. Marrow unsheathed a spear from his back and lifted it to strike. He held it for a moment, gaining strength for the attack. He brings it crashing down, but before it hits Kuro and Harp, he falls.
"Going to be king of the pirates are you? Well, aren't you ambitious? If you are worthy of that title, I'll see you on the grand line" A strange hooded figure says. He stands there for a moment, holding the bloody knife he used to finish Marrow with. Before Harp or Kuro could think about asking questions, he was gone.
"Well that was weird, wonder who he was?" Harp asked, "Beats me... So anyway, where are we going next!?" Kuro asked, "How are you ignoring the fact that we just saw someone completely unrelated to us that saved our lives!?"
"Well, it's easy! I just don't care!"
Harp's jaw dropped to the floor, "I don't know how you've gotten by in life living like this..."
"So anyway, where should we go next?" Kuro asked,
"Uh... Lets go to Loguetown!" Harp suggests, "Okay then!" Kuro and Harp start towards the ship, getting there faster than they expected. They jump onto the small ship, brought up the anchor, and set course for Loguetown, "We're going to Loguetown!" Kuro exclaims.

Lucas was a local superhero who worked for the government. He loved his job. He was considered a hero by most but he saw himself as a person who shared his gift to help others. His hero name was Levitator as he had telekinesis, the ability to move objects with his mind.

"Goodbye, honey, have fun at school," a red haired man waved his daughter off. His name is Lucas Crome and his daughter's name is Evie Crome, now, you may be thinking where's his wife? Her name was Melissa and well, unfortunately, she died giving birth to Evie. What a tragedy, right? "Time for work!" Lucas exclaimed excitedly. Lucas loved his work. He got changed into his hero outfit, which consisted of a plain, black bodysuit and a simple black mask. His outfit was really simple because he didn't want anything extravagant, after all, he didn't want to show of like some vain heroes he just wanted to help.




Discreetly, he opened the window and levitated through the window. "Hmmm, let's see, is there any crime, " after searching for ten minutes he couldn't find any crime but he did see an old lady struggling to lift her groceries into her car. Instantly, he rushed to help out, being a hero doesn't just involve fighting crime, it involved helping those in need of help. "Excuse me, ma'am, would you live some help?" he asked politely. "Oh my, it's the hero, Levitator, yes, you're such a dear, " she responded surprised that a hero was helping her. Lucas grabbed her heavy bags and gently placed them in her car boot. "Thank you so much, dearie!" she happily hugged him. "Anything to help the citizens, " he smiled at her.




"Help me!" a voice yelled, "Please, help me!" Multiple screams from many people rang through the air. Lucas lifted himself in the air and hurriedly rushed to the scene. There was a villain, dozens of people ran out their cars and many pedestrians fled to safety. As Lucas looked closely, he realised that it was the villain who called himself 'Stretchy' and you guessed it, he had the ability to stretch his body like rubber. There was another hero attempting to fight Stretchy named 'Multiplier' she was a beginner hero and had the ability to create clones of herself. 5 clones were surrounding Stretchy, trying to attack him all at one though they struggled as Stretchy managed to well, stretch past her attacks you could say. 'I'll help her out,' Lucas thought as he ran towards them and aimed to punch Stretch but missed, just like he planned to. You see, whilst Stretchy was distracted because he was dodging the attacks thrown at him, Lucas was using his ability to lift a car and hurled it into Stretchy. "My car!" a person from the crowd screamed. "I'll pay you back!" Lucas responded. Stretchy was slammed to the ground and unconscious but was still alive to bring chaos to the city. (I should probably give the city a name, how about Sparkle Ville, jk jk, I would never. I'm calling it Merry Falls, I got it from a generator.) The police walked into the scene and stated, "Thanks for your help, heroes, we'll take it from here."


After giving his bank details to the civilian who's car was damaged, Lucas decided that he should go shopping for groceries. When he was about to leave, he was stopped by Multiplier. "You're such a show off, I could've handled things by myself but you decided to ruin everything and take the spotlight," She retorted angrily. "It sounds more like you're the show off, being a hero isn't about getting into the spotlight and becoming famous, it's about helping others that need help. Anyone can be a hero but not everyone chooses to or can act like a hero," and with that he left. Multiplier's expression changed to a shocked face she did not expect him to say that. 'Time to go grocery shopping!', he thought happily. The only reason why Lucas loved to go grocery shopping was to get all his favourite snacks (and to add to his top secret chilli heatwave Doritos stash). Just the thought of munching up them delicious Doritos made his mouth water, his saliva rolled down to his chin but he wiped them away. 'Focus, Lucas, focus, you're just here for groceries we need,' he thought seriously. 'But Doritos are important you need them you can't live without them,' the tiny voice in his head argued back. It was then when Lucas decided that the tiny voice was right he can't live without Doritos, he was to obsessed with these delicious, corn, delights so he bought them along with the usual everyday groceries. "OMG! It's Levitator!" the people in the shop exclaimed but he didn't care, all her thought about was the song he'd made: 'I love Doritos and Doritos love me, we'll be together for eternity.'


Eventually, after this long day and the 2 large Doritos packets he'd eaten, Lucas decided to go home to rest and put his groceries away. When he'd arrived, he opened the doors and took his mask off but he didn't realise that his daughter was there watching in shock as he took it off. "Dad, you're Levitator!" she shouted at him. His eyes widened, "Evie, I can explain!" 'Oh shoot, I'm so dead.'


(If you're wondering why Evie didn't find out sooner, it's because Lucas usually comes in and out through the window but today he completely forgot and stupidly, decided to us the door. You were probably wondering whether people in this world have abilities, right? Only 0.2% of the world have abilities so about 140,000,000. Chapter 13 – Problem Solved
Lucas took a morning shower and went to Room No 2 to pick up Fury for breakfast. Fury, Red, and Blue had just woken up and were playing around. Lucas decided to bring the trio together. Once they were out of the playground, they happily followed Lucas upstairs. 
"Their moods are better now," said Lucas. 
[That is the effect of the playground. Fury will be easier to learn things for training today] said Sery. 
They had their breakfast and Lucas led Fury to Room No 3. They entered the dungeon and could see that the trees around them had fruits back. The dungeon was reseted. 
"Sery, will the pet foods in the storeroom be fine? They will not get spoiled?" Lucas asked. He had a feeling that they would be fine but it was better if he could confirm it. 
[The tube that stored the pet foods is time-proof. They will stay fresh forever as long as they are inside the tube] Sery replied. 
Since they would not get spoiled, Lucas decided to continue his harvest that day. Be that as it may, he decided to do that later. Fury's Fur Guard training was his focus at the moment. Lucas opened his system and checked on Fury's stat.

Fury had stayed in the playground for the whole night and his talent had increased by a lot. That was the benefit of the pet playground. 
Fury's normal element talent had increased from 35% to 60%. Since the playground was a normal element playground, the normal talent received the most increased. His ball and fur talent had increased by 10% to 40% and 50% respectively. 
Fury's other stats remained the same. There was no change in them. All the changes happened during their training time and Lucas was aware of it. 
"Fury, today we will continue training your Fur Guard skill. However, we will change our training today," said Lucas and Fury nodded. He looked eager to train thanks to the pet playground improving his moods. 
"I want you to use Energy Control and make your Fur Guard bouncy instead of hardening," said Lucas and he added, "Make sure the fur is stronger too. I don't want them to rip easily when hit," he thought for a bit and added more, "Make the fur stretchy too." 
Fury nodded and it started using Energy Control and tried his best in making his fur bouncy and stretchy. On the first try, he failed and ran out of energy. After a rest, Fury tried again and he failed again. 
Fury continued doing it until the tenth time, the fur started inhibiting a bouncy and stretchy feeling. "Try to maintain that," said Lucas, and Fury did his best but could only maintain it for five seconds. After another rest, Fury continued his training. 
6 seconds, 7 seconds, 8 seconds, 9 seconds. The more Fury tried, the longer he could hold the bouncy and stretchy state. His learning ability increased a lot after he stayed in the pet playground. The increase in talent helped a lot too. 
After more than a hundred tries, Fury finally managed to hold the bouncy and stretchy fur state for 20 seconds. It might sound low but Fury did it in less than a day. That was super impressive for a pet with E grade potential. 
[Will this improve the Fur Guard? You did not even use the skill while doing this. Fury may end up creating a new skill instead of improving the Fur Guard] Sery said. 
"We need to take this slowly. There is no need to rush. We have a lot of time," said Lucas and then, he gave a new order to Fury. 
"Ok, Fury. That is good for now. Next, I want you to use Fur Guard and use this state on your Fur Guard," said Lucas. 
Fury tried it and failed on the first try. He continued fusing Fur Guard with the bouncy and stretchy state but it proved to be hard. Fury kept trying but he failed many times. He tried it until it was afternoon (dungeon time) before Lucas gave Fury the afternoon rest. 
They had their lunch and Fury continued his training. Lucas did not stay idle while Fury was busy training. He did his usual training too. Not only that, but he also went around the area and collected pet foods. 
Fury did not follow him. He left him under a tree where it was far away from monsters. Even if there were monsters nearby, it would not be a problem to Fury. 
As Lucas was collecting fruits on a tree. Something hit the tree. He looked below and a white dog was growling at him. It wanted to fight. 
"Fury had always been the one fighting," said Lucas. "I should try fighting monsters too. The white dog is only a Tier 1 monsters and we are of the same rank. The fighting should not be hard," Lucas decided to try fighting the white dog. 
Lucas got up and stood on the tree branch. He looked down at the white dog and took a deep breath. The first time he fought a monster, he was killed. He was a bit nervous but he knew that he had improved a lot from before. 
"Body Enhancement," Lucas used the skill on himself and his stats increased by 5%. He felt that his body was stronger but he knew it was only for 20 seconds. Lucas jumped down towards the white dog and threw a punch. 
The white dog easily dodged the punch and quickly took a stance and rushed towards Lucas with its mouth opened. The white dog teeth shone lightly. Lucas knew what it was trying to do. He had seen this scene countless times before when Fury was fighting. 
Lucas moved to the right side of the white dog, "Fist of The Stone Golem!" Lucas's fist turned as hard as stone and he launched a barrage of punches at the white dog's body. 
"Awoo!!!!" The white dog screamed in pain. It used its speed and tried to escape from Lucas but Lucas was faster than the white dog. 
"Your speed may have a limit of 14 points but you did not train it enough to reach that limit," said Lucas and he continued using Fist of The Stone Golem on the white dog. With his 10 speed points, he could easily outrun the white dog which had less than 10 points of speed. 
A few seconds later, the white dog died. Lucas looked at the white dog and he looked at his hands. The enhancement effect ended and he clenched his fist. "Tier 1 monster is not a problem anymore," Lucas was smiling. 
As usual, he dismantled the white dog and sent the materials to the storeroom. "… Should I continue fighting?" Lucas said. 
[Do it. Master needs fighting experience too. You cannot fully rely on Fury in the wild. I am not saying that Fury is unreliable but I want master to be prepared] said Sery. 
[Many unexpected things happen in a dungeon. It is safe in this dungeon because this dungeon is not the same as the real dungeon but the real dungeon will have a lot of danger] Sery warned him of the danger in the dungeon and encouraged Lucas to keep fighting. 
"Let's do it. Fury is busy training his skill and new progress will take a while. I don't want to waste time doing nothing too," said Lucas and he decided to search for more pet foods as well as hunting more monsters. 
Lucas continued collecting pet foods and when he met a monster, he would kill the monster. The more he fought, the better he was in executing the right skills at the right moment. Thanks to his comprehension stat, Lucas understood a lot of things faster. 
A day later, Fury finally succeeded in fusing the bouncy and stretchy state to Fur Guard. However, he could not hold it that long. He continued training and increased the time more and more. Three days later, Fury could keep that state for almost a minute. A huge improvement after working so hard for four days straight. 
Now that the state could be held that long, Lucas decided to try it in a fight. They walked around and found a white slime. "Fury, use what you learn," said Lucas. Fury used Fur Guard and added the bouncy and stretchy state to the skill. 
The white slime tackled Fury and when it hit Fury's Fur Guard, the white slime was forced backward by the bounciness of the Fur Guard. Not only the white slime but Fury was pushed away too. Be that as it may, Fury did not suffer any damage thanks to the fur's bounciness. 
"!!!" Fury was shocked and amazed that he could do that. All this time, the Fur Guard had been useless but it could now protect his body properly. 
[Wow~ The improvement looks great. The gaps in the fur help to enhance the bounciness of the fur. The soft fur also helps a lot in enhancing the stretchy-ness of the fur hence improving the overall bounciness of the skill] Sery was amazed too. 
"It works!!" Lucas was happy. He had no idea that it would work especially when it took that long for Fury to fuse the two things. Luckily, he and Fury did not give up. 
[Now, all we need is to keep practicing this skill in battles and wait for the system to approve this improvement. Fury needs to stabilize the skill more too. I wonder what effects will be added to the Fur Guard?] said Sery. He was excited too.
Fury continued battling the white slime. Whenever the white slime tackled Fury who was encased with the bouncy Fur Guard, both would be thrown backward and their distance would increase. The white slime would then fall on the ground and suffer minor damage while Fury did not suffer any damage. 
Fury seemed to get a lot of fun using the improved Fur Guard. He felt like he was playing inside a ball (he is literally a ball of fur inside another ball of fur). Fury's mood turned better and he kept improving and stabilizing the skill to a point where he could hold on the skill for almost three minutes. 
The new improvement seemed to need a lot of time to be approved by the system as after five days of using the skill in battle, Lucas finally got the system notification. 
[Fury's Fur Guard improved. Effects added: Repel 10, Bounce 10, Defense +10]
When Lucas read the notification, he was petrified. Sery was shocked too. Two new effects were added to the skill and not only that, the defense stat was increased too. 
[… Master, the difficulty of improving this skill must be hard that the skill gets a lot of improvement] said Sery. He did not expect that the Fur Guard would improve that much. 
"Maybe the skill is suitable for a furball. When we think about it, the furball is a soft-body monster. Hardening his soft fur might not be the right approach. So, there was no improvement when I asked Fury to harden his fur using his energy," Lucas gave his opinion. 
"After I asked Fury to make his fur bouncy and stretchy, we saw the improvement happen. It is slow but the improvement always happened, unlike hardening. Also, I think the element of the skill plays a huge part too," Lucas added. 
"We have been approaching this problem in the wrong way."
[Master is right] Sery agreed. 
Now that the Fur Guard improvement problem had ended, Lucas was relieved. Not only that, he learned a new thing. 
"I will need to consider a lot more things in the future when I want to improve the skills of my pets," said Lucas. 
Lucas checked on the improved version of Fur Guard.

Based on the stats alone, Lucas could say that the Fur Guard was Fury's best skills. Since Fury had been using the skill a lot, it had leveled up to level 5. Despite the constant usage of the skill for the past few days, the skill had only leveled up once due to the skill used by Fury being different than the original skill. 
However, now that the skill had officially been approved by the system, the level up would be faster. 
The next skill Lucas wanted Fury to improve was the Fur Ball. Since Lucas had more knowledge of skill training, he already had an idea of what he should do. 
Even so, Lucas decided to stop the training for the day. He brought Fury out of the dungeon and put him in the nursing pen for healing. He felt like the combination of nursing pen, pet playground and training had helped a lot in Fury's improvement.

Petrian used to be a normal modern world when suddenly gates connecting to a dungeon that was filled with monsters appeared. After that, humans discover that they could capture the monsters and use them as pets to defeat other monsters. Since then, Petrian has become a world of pet tamer. 
A thousand years later, a Grade E city was ravaged by a strong monster and many people died. One of them was Lucas’s father. Not only that, Lucas was heavily injured but he miraculously woke up from a coma. 
When he woke up, he found out that he owned the Pet Nursery System. Lucas used the system and wanted to open the best pet nursery in the universe.

"Sold!" After 10 minutes or so of frantic bidding, June was sold to a middle-aged man, likely in his 40s for a lump sum of 100 000 000 Ambrosias.

Mother Therese smiled contentedly, this was the biggest sum she'd ever attained for a coven pet. 'Thank goodness I decided to collect June, her potential is really endless!'

Mother Therese approached the pot-bellied man who had payed a fortune with a good-natured smile, signalling for one of her apprentices to take over the auction.

"Hello Mr Jenkins, I hope you're contented with your purchase. Would you like to collect her now or continue to observe the auction?" Mother Therese talked in a calm and professional tone befitting that of an experienced salesperson.

Mr Jenkins smiled widely, displaying a set of crooked yellow teeth and an ugly smirk. 

"Actually, would it be possible for me to collect her now and have her observe the auction with me? You know, just to get to know her since we'll be working closely from now on," His smile looked sinister as his eyes shone with lust, barely containing his carnal desire.

June shivered in her place, facing Mother Therese with pleading eyes. She had suffered enough. However it was not meant to be as Mother Therese answered without a hint of hesitation.

"Of course, I'll just take her to the back to dress her more appropriately. Do you have any outfit preferences?" Mother Therese asked without batting an eye.

"Innocent clothing, make it fitted. Don't bother with giving her a new set of undergarments. Make sure it's easily removable," Mr Jenkins's already wide grin grew even larger in size if possible , splitting his face in half. 

June squeaked. What was this? Why was she being forced to play a part in this wicked man's fantasy? She was no animal! Tears began to well in her eyes, she may as well be, even animals were treated better than this. Her hair stood up as Mother Therese grasped her wrist, guiding her backstage.

"Now don't you move," Mother Therese chided, signalling for June to stand in the small platform in there centre of the room. June began to rub her arms together in an attempt to gather warmth, feeling cold in her short and flimsy robe.

She watched as Mother Therese fumbled around in the room's closet, in search of an attire that would seek June's owner's criteria. 

"Ah!" Mother Therese exclaimed, pulling out a  student's garb. June gulped as she stared at the foreign material. It looked to be sized for a  child no older than 7 years, leaving no room for June's large chest or bottom, the short robes wouldn't even completely cover her bottom!

"Hmm, easily removable? It's a little tight, maybe a tear or two would do," Mother Therese mused to herself, picking up a sharp pair of scissors and making a large rip around the waist of the robe which would be against June's chest. The rip went around about half of the robe and would be sure to expose the whole of June's left breast.

June began to plead, "Please! I've been humiliated enough! They all saw everything, at least give me some face! I'll wear anything! Just please don't rip it anymore!" Mother Therese just cackled in response, ignoring June's pleas.

"Dear, you're a pet, you're lucky you even get clothes!" Mother Therese laughed heartily as she made another long rip down the left side of the robe.

"Here you go!" Mother Therese once again exclaimed, ripping off the flimsy layer of clothes protecting what was left of June's modesty. June squealed, covering herself quickly, inching backwards in a futile attempt to escape.

However it was all in vain, as Mother Therese reached out grabbed June's left breast, squeezing it tightly and pulling her back. Mother Therese continued to massage June's breasts, occasionally stroking her soft middle.

"How soft!" Mother Therese complimented, "No wonder they were oh so willing to bid their fortune!"

June, violated, began to feel sick, only to have her air supply muffled by the robe being forced over her head. The tight and stretchy fabric clinged to her chest, exposing her nipples. Since the dress was meant for one much shorter, the waist of the dress hung around June's bosom, squeezing the goods so tightly that June felt suffocated. The rest of her body didn't feel much better, although the rest of the grab was flowy, it was still meant for a child half June's aged, it would cling tightly regardless of build, much less June's which was well-endowed. The garb's stretchy material was pulled so tight over June's stomach and top half of her bottom that it was practically sheer, leaving nothing to the imagination. June felt as if her lungs had collapsed, suddenly claustrophobic. The bottom of the dress was even worse, leaving the bottom half of June's bottom and her clit wholly exposed.  The rip on the side of the dress not helping, only causing the dress to ride further up. As expected, the rip around June's breast also left the whole of the left breast hanging out of the dress, creating an odd picture with one breast heavily compressed and the other fully hanging out.

"Quite adequate!" Mother Therese exclaimed admiring her work and went back to the closet to retrieve more accessories.

June feeling the worst she had the whole night desperately tugged at the dress trying to at least cover both her breasts if the bottom was a lost cause but only succeeded in ripping it further. Her eyes shimmered with fear and vulnerability, feeling especially weak and useless.

Mother Therese came back quickly, in her hands were a pair of sheer stockings at least 5 sizes too small and a set of a bunny tail and ears. Hastily, she grabbed June's ankles, causing June to fall and her dress to further rip and ride up, exposing everything from her waist down. June's face went as red as a tomato as she shrieked, her eyes wrought with terror. As if just realising her situation, June began to kick, desperately screaming for help, scrambling to escape.

However she was easily stopped with a flick of Mother Therese's hand, petrifying her in her place, rendering all her martial arts training useless.

"Now, now, don't be naughty!" Mother Therese scolded, spanking June harshly. June flinched at her touch and could only watch in vain as Mother Therese pulled the tight stockings over her calves and up her thighs, stopping when the short stockings had been pulled taut right over her knees. Small rips had formed in the fabric from Mother Therese's rough pulling, the patches of meat bulging out where the rest had been confined. Around the line of the stocking June's thighs increased in circumference, causing June a large amount of discomfort.

"Time for hair and makeup!" Mother Therese said jollily, reaching for a pouch on one of the room's tables. June was unable to resist as Mother Therese curled her lashes and applied a light layer of mascara, framing her pretty blue eyes. With haste, she began to paint June's lips a pretty red and dusted her cheeks with blush. June looked like a doll.

Mother Therese than began to curl June's hair so that it framed her face innocently, the red a beautiful contrast with the blue of June's eyes. Satisfied, Mother Therese clapped her hands and reached for the props she had brought along. Delicately she clipped each of the bunny ears onto June's scalp before as if in direct contrast to the movement roughly shoved the bunny tail up June's butthole.

"Ahhhg," June screamed in surprise, desperate to remove it as the itchy and uncomfortable feeling tickled her insides. Mother Therese once again went back to the closet and pulled out a set of bunny paws for June's hands. Quickly stuffing June's balled fists into the paws, she reached for a hot glue gun, squirting it into the paw's and forging June's flesh into the furry material. Before doing the same with the tail on her butt and the ears on her head. Searing the costume into June's flesh.

You see, the Coven Pets were pets for a reason, each were marked with a unique animal of their owner's choice, it was tradition. Mother Therese smiled in delight as she admired her work and quickly moved June into a few suggestive positions to take pictures to sell.

As a final touch, Mother Therese quickly enchanted June's animal appendages with animation and bonding, truly making them a part of her body.

June felt her tail twitch, and suddenly could move her ears. Horrified, June let out a banshee like shriek, unaware of the tradition. After all, she had never interacted with other Coven Pets, much less ones that had been sold. June shook in disbelief, what worse humiliation could there be? She had been forced to give up her modesty only to be encountered with something on a whole other realm.

Mother Therese quickly disenchanted June and grabbed her hand prompting her to follow. June, too shocked to put up a fight, blindly trailed after her. They only stopped at the doors to the auditorium where Mother Therese suddenly halted.

"Almost forgot!" With a wave of her her hands a short chant, June felt her two front teeth protrude and grow. She panicked, flailing around as she felt the sudden change. Only to be stopped in her place by a searing pain in the middle of her breasts right below her collar bone.

"AHhhGHH!" June groaned loudly, in extreme pain, as she felt a symbol searing into her skin, she glanced down through the rips on her sheer robes to see a new mark on her skin in the likeness of a bunny head.

Feeling dizzy, she collapsed on her knees, only to be cruelly yanked up, feeling a burst of energy go through her bloodstream. 

"Now, you'll have no choice but to obey, the seal is imbued with your Master's blood, failure to comply will result in your mind turning dark! It also imbues you with the natural characteristics of a bunny, you can't really escape..Sexual desire is heightened too! Anyone can please you!" Mother Therese paused, only to cackle loudly and pushed June into the auditorium.

Upon entering, June immediately felt a cool breeze rush past her exposed lower half, causing her to shiver. She felt the prickle of hundreds of thousands of eyes on her. Standing in place , she basked in her shame as she tried to cover her animal ears.

"Come, my pet!" A low and rough baritone sounded out, full of lust. June afraid, took a step back, only to feel her mind overcome with immense pain, immediately she rushed forward, sprinting towards her master, exposing her bunny tail as she hopped up the stairs with newfound agility, only to clumsily fall midway, her clit facing all those before her.

She immediately blushed, but got up quickly and ran towards her new master. He grinned sleazily, patting his lap. June disgusted, and once again mistakenly took a step back, only to find herself in the same torturous state and with haste summoned her willpower before reluctantly sitting on the man's lap.

She suddenly jolted, as she felt her master's hand sneak through the rip on her robe and roughly massage her breasts. 

"Ahhhhtrdhdh" June moaned loudly, in both pleasure and pain. She immediately flushed, and held back her temptation to cry out in pain as the man began to knead her breasts harder and faster. Her shame reached new heights and she silently cursed Mother Therese for heightening her sex drive.

The Coven Pets are street children found and picked up to be groomed and tortured so as to be shaped into perfect weapons for auction. Therese Laraing sells these girls to all types of people to be most commonly used as bodyguards and playthings.

June Delta was one of many of the Coven Pets. Abandoned at birth, these young witchlings were tortured and altered to become the perfect playthings. June, like any other Coven pet was finally due for auction. But what happens when a mysterious stroke of lightning hits the carriage June was in, changing her fate forever? Chapter 5 

Becca- 

For some reason I still didn't run the day after the rain stopped. 

Brett still seemed to have hardly any time to talk to me. 

My parents said that instead of our usual family vacation this summer, they wanted to change things up. 

They wanted to go off on some romantic getaway for two weeks, then go on a family vacation this fall. 

Apparently I could take a friend in the fall, they wanted to go to this mountain resort. 

In attempts to make up for it they promised enough spending money while they were away to cover whatever I wanted to do. 

I also got the week after fall break off as well, a friend gets to join at the resort, and we get our own cabin. 

My parents have more single child syndrome than I do really, always overcompensating, always spoiling me beyond reason. 

I guess it depends on how you looked at it though. 

I was going to have a baby brother when I was five or six, but something happened. 

They said there was no way to save him, that mom was actually at risk the longer she carried him. 

So they induced an early labor, and we all got to meet him, hold him, and tell him goodbye. 

I don't remember everything, but I remember being excited, then being so sad, but still happy I got to hold him. 

The mix of emotions swirling inside me started setting in. 

Instead of dwelling on it I changed into my stretchy pants and tank with a built in sports bra and the rest of my running gear. 

I pulled up my playlist with more, intense music. 

Heavy hitting, metal, with some other stuff mixed in. 

Some people laugh, but it pumped me up, pushed me. 

Heading downstairs I noticed cash on the corner of the bar with a note. 

Business dinner with a client. Have a friend over and rent a movie. Don't wait up! 

I stretched in my front yard and started my music. 

Finally I started jogging down the driveway. 

Coming up on her house I got this funny tickle in my stomach. 

I noticed a car in her driveway that was there the first day, when I saw her through the window. 

Tempted to stop, I just ran. 

After a few miles I heard thunder despite my loud music and paused just in time to see lightning spread across the sky. 

I turned back noticing the gloomy sky filled with clouds about to burst. 

Leaving the woods I stopped to catch my breath and removed my earbuds, only to hear yelling from Dani’s house. 

Curiously, I walked closer to see a large shirtless man screaming outside the side door with Dani throwing a shirt at him, holding a robe together. 

He yelled at her, calling her foul names which set her off. 

She just jumped at him, punching him until he shoved her to the ground. 

I froze in fear Dani was hurt, until I heard her scream for me to watch out. 

The guy wildly backed out of the driveway heading directly at me. 

I dove into Dani's muddy yard, and pain spread over part of my body. 

Dani was screaming at the guy as she ran over to me. 

Dani: ‘Oh my God, Becks! Are you ok?!? What are you doing here?’ 

She rolled me onto my back by my shoulders and the pain worsened causing me to scream. 

‘Don't touch my arm! Don't touch....’ 

Tears filled my eyes and without warning I began crying like a baby. 

Thunder boomed and I felt a large drop of rain hit my head and I felt Dani scoop me up. 

Dani: ‘I've got you, let's just get you out of the rain.’ 

I nuzzled into her chest out of instinct, ignoring the fact her robe had opened, leaving my face against her bare breast. 

She rose to her knees, then stood with ease, catching me a little off guard. 

Her small stature was very misleading when it came to guessing her strength. 

She hurried inside carrying me easily. 

She put me on a bed and started undoing the armband for my phone. 

It was like she just, stopped, suddenly thinking to offer me comfort instead of just checking me out. 

She gently brushed my hair back and kissed my forehead. 

Dani: ‘It's ok sweetheart, I've got you. I think you're ok, I can't say the same for your phone, but I don't want you to worry. Let's get you out of these muddy clothes and I can get a better look at that arm, ok?’

After eating and getting my revenge to Riri, we went to another store where we could buy anything that we need for the party. Riri buy so many things! I'd try to stop her from just putting random things and just bought the things that we really need, but Riri being Riri,  she didn't listen to me and reasoned that we have many guests and what she is doing is right, because she's the 'party expert'. Ari is outside the store, sitting with the bags. 



Then after buying the things that we need, me and Ari went back home to get ourselves ready for Riri's party while Riri went to her house to prepare the food and stuffs. 


When I look at the time, it's six p.m. now,  two hours before the party....and I'm still here choosing what clothes to wear!  Ugh! Why does Riri have to buy so many clothes? Now I have so many options to choose from... Should I wear the adult-size baby's clothes? What it is called again? Jumper? They said that I look cute in that... Yes! To look cute! I want to impress those two and to look good too. This is my first party and I don't want to mess up. 



Should I go and wear a tuxedo? It's too formal... Ugh! 


Now I'm just pacing back and forth in my room. 



Someone knocks the door. "Young master?" It's Norvyn! 


I hurriedly opened the door and let Norvyn in. 


"Norvyn,  good timing! I really need your help!"


"What can I do for you young master?"


"You know that I'll be going in a party, right? And Riri bought—well I payed for it, the clothes, and I don't know what to wear! Can you help me choose Norvyn? Please~?"



"Of course young master. Let me see what you bought."



Norvyn walks towards my bed where clothes are haphazardly scatter in bed... I'm panicking okay?! I don't have the time to organize stuff. 



"Let's see... You can just be casual, young master. I remember that party in that kind of stuff doesn't need to wear anything fancy. Just be yourself." Norvyn said, taking a blue t-shirt with a print that says 'I'm cute' and a stretchy skinny jeans that have holes on it. When I first saw it, I'm like: a defect?  But when I asked Riri about it, she said that it's the style. 



"Why that clothes?" Maybe he's just teasing me. Everyone's teasing me... 


"Even though it is simple, you look good on it.  Everything that young master wear, looks good on him."


"But... isn't that a bit... direct?  I mean, the print—"


"Young master, it's ok. No one will insult you, if that's what you're worrying. It's just a shirt, no one will care for that. Everyone's had been wear something like that." 


"Even you?"


"..."


".....?"


"Young master, that is not the point." ....so he did wear something like that. I can't imagine Norvyn wearing...cute stuffs.



Well,  after Norvyn convinced me to wear what he picked, I went downstairs and wait for Ari. 


It's 6:30 now.... it's still early. Should I play some games while waiting for Ari or I can call him right now and tell that—noooo. Sigh. Waiting is boooring!

"—oper. Cooper, wake up."

Hm? Haaaam. I didn't know that I fell asleep.

"Whaa—Ari?" I stretched my body. That's a good nap!

"What time is it now?" I asked. 


"It's 7:45 p.m. now Cooper."

"Oh... Wait what?!" Oh no!  We're gonna be late! 


"Why didn't you wake me up?! Now we're going to be late, aish!"



"It's because you look peaceful and relax when you sleep. I don't want to disturb you."


"But now we're going to—"


"We're not. Kristine's house is near, we'll be there in ten minutes. Now, stop you're tantrums and then we're going after you fix yourself okay?"


I'm not throwing a tantrum! I'm just nervous and panicking!


"Fiiinnnee."

"Woahhh." Riri's house is huge! 


I can hear the loud music even though I'm outside. We walk towards the door...there's a doorbell. 


"Should we ring the doorbell? It's rude not to." I said to Adrian.


"Go ahead, press it." annndd that's what I did. I love ringing the doorbells. I don't know why but I find it fun.



The door opens and we see Kristine with uhhh... good red dress though it's short. 



"Oh Cooper! You're here! And Adrian. Come on,  go in."


"Kristine, you shouldn't wear that. The thing that shouldn't been seen...is seen. Change your clothes." I advised.


"Cooper, it's fine. We're on a party,  almost all the girls here wear vulgar dresses. My clothes are even better because I'm just showing my beautiful legs not like those girls." she said, pointing at those group of women wearing little to nothing. Cover your eyes Cooper! You shouldn't see those things! 


"Aww Cooper can't take the stimulation and need to cover his virgin eyes, hahaha!"



"W-well we should! Only those who's married can see their partner's body."



"Cooper, in this era, almost no one cares about that. They even lose their v-card to someone they didn't know."

"V-card?"


"Virginity." Ohhh. 


"...Are you?"


"Are I what? Oh, lose my v-card? No! I am not that kind of girl. You hurting my feelings Cooper." she said, making a sad face. 


Ayyy!  Why did you ask that kind of question?! Ugh!  Because of that, maybe I'll lose my first friend!


"Sorry Kristine! I didn't mean it,  I swear! I-i just want to know—no I'm curious about—Ugh!  Sorry Riri! I didn't—"



"Okay, stop the drama now. Don't be sorry... well a little bit is fine. I am little hurt that you think that I am that kind of girl. Is it because I wear  this short dress? Cooper, I'm just confident with my body that's why I'm wearing it. Maybe you need to rein your curiosity because that's what killed the cat. Sigh, I'm gonna go and attend the other guests.  Don't worry about that, okay? I want you to enjoy this night. Can you do that Cooper?"



"Okay. I'm sorry again Riri. I really didn't mean it that way."


"It's fiiiine. Now go and let yourself loose. Ba-bye!" she said, walking away. 

Sigh. I look at Ari.  "You're not saying anything." 

"What am I supposed to say? I don't want to meddle to your argument. You need to learn your lesson. Did you learn it?"  Even in the party,  I need to learn something?! I'm tired of learning and studying!


"...Yes."

"Anndd, what did you learn?"

"To not just say anything that my mind is thinking, don't ask questions that might offend someone and don't be always curious."


"Good boy." He said in a proud tone... Why do I feel like his praising a dog? 


"Now, let's enjoy this party."


"Yes!" 


Sigh, might as well.

Cooper never had a normal life. He always needed more attention than normal people. Making a deal with his father was the best thing Cooper did.

He went to new locations; he experienced new things, he even made new friends!

Though there was one exception: his classmate Calvin.

Calvin was a mystery to him. He’s always alone with his headphones and always has a knack at annoying him.

With things that always come to brew trouble, they begin to realise that maybe the other is not so annoying after all.... And maybe they need each other!

The immediate concern is that I'm naked. That ruin drawback wasn't messing around. It's more of a legal and emotional concern than a health one. It's still August and its a fairly nice night so I've got a little leeway time-wise. I could go to the police. Well, hypothetically I could go to the police. I don't have a phone to call them, payphones don't exist, and walking across town to the police precinct naked is my last resort. Could dumpster dive for makeshift clothes? Although I think there's a thrift store 2 blocks away. 

Using the cover of night I run over to the thrift store. My new IR vision lets me know no one else is around and my new speed gets me to the thrift shop in under two minutes. I'm glad younger me had years to get used to all the new changes it's still a bit jarring though. Younger me knew he wasn't normal, but had no frame of reference to really understand. How I feel right now is ridiculous. No 14 year should feel this powerful. I'm basically Captain America with slightly different aptitudes. Being able to move and react as fast as I do is like no longer being affected by gravity. I feel free of restraints I didn't know I had. 

I also have a body no 14-year-old should. I've got the body of an adult comic superhero. People in this world still have normal body proportions unless their quirk specifically effects that. With the exception of All Might and Endeavor, no one has anything close to the superhero physique. I don't even have the sidekick physique I skipped that. I'm nearly 6 ft tall and 250lbs I went straight to Superman physique and I'm not done growing. Younger me didn't even realize that his heat vision wasn't how everyone else saw the world. Or that the sharp whistling noises that only I could hear were probably dog whistles. Another thing I hadn't noticed was a subtle tingling I got in the back of my neck right before I would get hit in a fight or when I was just about to get mugged. I hadn't known what to look for, but I do have a bit of a danger sense. It's just barely noticeable and to a quirkless kid if I had even realized it I rationalized it as a gut feeling. But that is something that needs some work.

Once at the thrift store I went around back to their dumpsters and recycling bins. Japan's got strict resale laws so a lot of donations have to be thrown away or recycled. Shopping for clothes post quirks has become a hassle finding the right size for people because of all the nonstandard modifications that are needed. Tailors and baggy clothes, however, are in right now. I find a good selection of stretchy/ baggy clothes I immediately put on some basketball shorts, flip flops, and a tank top.  I luck out and find a backpack also. The employees must have missed it when going through the other clothes. I pack up some underwear and 2 more full sets of clothes in my backpack which I'll wash before wearing later.  

Now clothed I have time to think about my other immediate concerns. Food and water for obvious reasons. Shelter is also a much higher concern now. Past me didn't know anything about the criminal underground, but I know as a uniquely talented quirkless kid I might be taken by all for one or really any gang. Sleeping on the streets has already gotten me mugged once in three months. Then I need to make sure I'm eligible to take the UA entrance exam. Then make sure I can pass it. The first three can be solved with money, so I need to get a job of some sort. The second should hopefully just be paperwork. The third is just studying. I need to study actual school subjects mostly just to brush up on them. Learning about support device design is critical but might be able to push that off until I'm in UA. Then I need to physically study. That's probably the least urgent, considering I would need a specialized gym to train. Either a dojo to learn more martial arts or just a place with weight machines designed for super strength. Both of which will be expensive. I might be able to use body weights anime style, but testing that will be even further down the priority list.

So how to get money? I need a job. I could find a local place and maybe get a job + room and board. Maybe assist at a dojo, but that would probably pay pretty poorly.  A model? I wonder if there's a modeling agency it has the potential to pay the best. Alright, that's plan A. I need to go to the library and see if I can find one.
