Seeing Yun Wei lazily slouched in her chair, Hua Shasha instantly had an idea. Catching Yun Wei unawares, she took her hand and raised it high.
Yun Wei didn't even have the opportunity to pull her had away before Hua Shasha said loudly, "Sir, Yun Wei says she knows the answer!"
Having made the announcement, Hua Shasha looked at the teacher with a bright smile on her face.
Since this was a tough problem, Hua Shasha assumed that Yun Wei, in her current halfwit state, wouldn't be able to solve it.
Then, she would embarrass herself in the presence of the teacher and, conveniently, Lu Zhanting would also witness her public embarrassment. When that happened, how could the teacher still view Yun Wei in a good light going forward?
Also, after Yun Wei's failure to solve the problem, Hua Shasha would then stand up and offer a detailed analysis to solve it.
She was killing two birds with one stone. She'd shame Yun Wei in public while at the same demonstrating her capability to the teacher and Lu Zhanting. At the thought, Hua Shasha smiled even more widely.
Seeing that Yun Wei had raised her hand, everyone in the class looked in her direction.
The teacher also smiled. "Yun Wei, let's hear your answer, then," he said.
But Yun Wei's mind was somewhere else, her head filled with what had happened in the pantry earlier.
Forget about solving the problem. She didn't even know what the problem was.
The teacher looked earnestly at her, his face filled with hopeful expectation.
All eyes were focused on Yun Wei, but, of course, the girls who were looking in Yun Wei's direction were actually ogling Lu Zhanting.
Yun Wei took one look at the problem and realized that it was out of the scope of the syllabus. Furthermore, because she hadn't studied Higher Math for at least three months, the problem was definitely out of the scope of her capabilities.
Lu Zhanting gently nudged Yun Wei's elbow and started writing the answer down on the notepad.
He'd only written one row of the solution down when, after one glance, Yun Wei, based on Lu Zhanting's clue, very quickly worked out the rest of the solution on her own.
Without leaving out any details, she rattled through the steps to solve the problem.
Seeing that Yun Wei needed only a small clue to help her get started, Lu Zhanting stopped writing, leaving only that one row that he'd already written.
The teacher and all the other students stared at Yun Wei.
Everyone was a little stunned because what Yun Wei had said was beyond their level of understanding.
Lu Zhanting was an academic genius who, in his time, had taken only one year to complete a four-year course.
For a super-smart student like him, his thought process was naturally different from that of a regular student.
The intelligent Yun Wei had only glimpsed at his clue before immediately launching into the solution process based on his line of thinking.
The method to solve the problem was something that the other students never would've considered. Even the teacher was stunned.
When Yun Wei had finished talking, Lu Zhanting's lips curled into a smile of admiration.
Very shocked, the teacher gawked at Yun Wei.
The other students simply shook their heads, clearly indicating that they hadn't understood any of what they'd just heard.
Assuming that Yun Wei was simply rattling off anything just to save face, Hua Shasha said immediately, "Sir, Yun Wei hasn't really answered the question. Let me give you the answer. I know the steps to complete this problem."
The teacher didn't even pay attention to what Hua Shasha had just said. Instead, he just stared intently at Yun Wei.
"Sir, I can do this!" Hua Shasha stood up from her seat.
"No, no, not necessary. Sit down." The teacher brushed her off with a wave of his hand and looked at Yun Wei instead. "Yun Wei, the method you used to arrive at the answer is very good. It's just a bit too advanced. But, it's definitely worth learning."
The teacher was so excited that he looked flushed. The way that Yun Wei had solved the problem, and doing so in Lu Zhanting's presence, had made him very proud. The objective of an open classroom was to showcase the teacher's teaching capability, and Yun Wei's intelligent answer was a clear indicator that he'd done a great job as a teacher.
She had aptly demonstrated her capability in Lu Zhanting's presence. How could the teacher not be happy?


Having witnessed her boyfriend cheating on her with her bestie, she promptly made him her ex and, on the rebound, married a handsome, young billionaire. In public, he was a dazzling, wealthy scion, a brilliant young entrepreneur. Away from the public eye, he was the perfect husband: highly educated and able to hold his own in any situation, and just as adept as a cook and with housework. Unhappily, she protested, “Tonight, you should sleep on the couch, I will take the bed.”


After they finished talking, the chemistry teacher looked up and found that Su Yan was sitting in the cahir watching them.

This frightened the teacher, followed by crying and laughing. "Student Su Yan has encountered a problem? it's okay, leave it empty, wait for me the analysis together."

Su Yan stood up, her voice soft.
"Teacher, I'm done."

As soon as she said, Yuan Xinlin and teacher were shocked.

Yuan Xinlin's first reaction was impossible!

Then thinking about Su Yan's level again,  he understood.

The question was too difficult for people who have never experienced test training.

It was estimated that Su Yan's sheet was completely empty.

Yuan Xinlin looked at her well-behaved appearance and his heart softened. He couldn't help but utter a consolation.

"It doesn't matter, you tried your best. Practice well, you will get better in the future."

Su Yan licked the corner of her lips without saying anything.

The reaction from Yaun Xinlin was completely different from the chemistry teacher.

After the initial surprise, his eyes flashed, in his head, he thought of the question the Su Yan had solved in ten minutes that night.

There was an incredible thought in his head.

"Come here, and let me see!" He spoke excitedly.

Su Yan passed over the paper in her hand.

The chemistry teacher carefully looked at the sheet from the beginning to the end.

In his other hand, he held the answer sheet to the test paper. The more he read, the more his hand shook
At last, the teacher looked up, He asked incredibly. "You did it yourself?"

Su Yan blinked. "En."

He was probably too excited to ask such  a non-technical question.

Immediately after, the teacher pointed at the two big questions.

"These two, why did you only write the final deprivation formula instead of the process?"

Su Yan thought for a while, and said in a soft voice, "The process was a bit troublesome."

She didn't say anything, it was faster to calculate from her head than writing it.

The teacher hurriedly said to Su Yan, "Come and write it from me."

Su Yan nodded, picked up the pen on the side , mad wrote the several important calculation steps nest to the question.

By the time she finished writing, Yaun Xinlin, who was standing next to her frozen.

He felt unbelievable.

He is familiar with Su Yan. Why didn't he know that she was so smart in chemistry?

When Su Yan finished writing, the chemistry teacher was too lazy to even compare, and directly held Su Yan's arm with excitement.

"Would you like to participate in a chemistry competition in a month later?"

Su Yan blinked, stretched out her hand, and push the teacher's hand off her arm, keeping a distance away.

Sh didn't like the sudden approach of others.

But at this time, the teacher only cares about whether she promised or not. As for these small details, he can't bother to pay attention.

After a while, she smiled lightly, 
"Yes."

The teacher's face glowed as soon as she heard her agree, he suddenly looked younger, filled with vitality.

With the genius brain of Su Yan, can the first place rank in this chemistry competition still run?!

The two people came out of the teacher's office.

Yuan Xinlin restrained his mind and showed a helpless smile. "I never knew that your ability in chemistry is so strong."

She raised her head and blinked. "It's okay."

Sh didn't fell anything except... her head hurt a little when she was doing the question.

As she thought, she took a piece of strawberry toffee out of her pocket, then unwrapped it and eat it.

The aroma of strawberry milk permeated her mouth.

Her system said that if she wants to get back her godhead, she has to fulfill the male lead’s wish. As a result, she started the long road of attacking the male lead. The young boy’s eyes were sad: “You can only like me alone.” The sick prince’s eyes were faint: “You said you will stay with me for a lifetime.” The evil phantom emperor: “Little Su Yan, come here, my dear.”

Su Yan felt tangled. She just wanted to find her own godhead, how did she get tangled up?

Seeing that the look of the man in front was wrong, she immediately changed her words. “Yes, yes, all for you, I like you the most!” The man was covered in blood, and approached step by step, muttering: “You said, you will stay with me, and you will never leave.” Su Yan coaxed: “Well, I listen to you, let’s wipe this blood first, don’t scare others?”

If you're like most people, you find vanilla ice cream quite inoffensive.
You neither love nor hate it — i.e., it doesn't inspire strong feelings in you.
And if you're eating vanilla ice cream, it's unlikely you're raving about it to anyone.
Now I want you to think about Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream.
I bet that ice cream inspires strong feelings in you!
I bet if you had a big bowl of that in front of you, there'd be a huge smile on your face and you'd want to tell anyone who'd listen how good it is.
What's this got to do with writing?
Well, many of us have perfected the art of writing "vanilla ice cream."
Vanilla writing is both technically sound and inoffensive.
Vanilla writing "does the job" in the absence of anything better.
And the truth is, perfecting the art of writing "vanilla" is necessary if you want to earn a living as a writer.
The economic and time constraints imposed on us by our clients, plus our need to invoice quickly (so we can put food on the table), dictates that we need to be able to consistently churn out writing that is technically sound and "does the job."
Vanilla writing pays the bills.
But sometimes, we want to produce writing that really moves people and inspires them to take action.
Sometimes we want our writing to provoke such strong feelings in people, they feel compelled to tell their friends, "Hey! Read this!"
Sometimes, we want to produce the writing equivalent of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
The good news is, there's a way to turn vanilla into chocolate chip cookie dough. You just need time, and a few extra ingredients.
The power of editing
Most people see editing as the process of turning a messy first draft into something that's publishable. And yes, editing does do that.
But to me, "publishable" is the equivalent of "vanilla."
To me, the real power of editing activates when we take writing that is vanilla (does the job) and turn it into chocolate chip cookie dough (something people rave about and want to share with their friends).
Yes, the editing process for the latter involves a few more steps than you're used to, but I promise, it'll be worth it.
Before you can turn a piece of vanilla writing into chocolate chip cookie dough, however, you need to be sure it really is at the vanilla (i.e., technically sound) stage.
You also need to meet these three requirements:
You know exactly who the ideal reader is,
You know what promise you're making to them, and
Your piece contains all the key information required to deliver on the promise.
If you have all of this in hand, it's time to edit!
Step #1: High-level pass
This is the stage where knowing exactly who you're writing for, and what you're trying to say is crucial.
Because the first thing you need to do is go through your draft and delete anything that is not relevant to the promise you're making.
When I first started putting this post together, many of the things I talked about were general writing tips. They were great tips, but completely irrelevant to the promise I was making — which was how to edit, not how to write.
The second thing you need to do is check your examples.
If the ideal reader for your piece is a doctor, but all your examples are about builders, you need to change your examples. (If you don't, your piece won't resonate.)
Finally, you need to check your sub-headings.
If you promise "5 secrets to great writing" in your title and all your sub-headings are actually "5 mistakes people make when they're writing," then you need to either change your title or your sub-headings.
Step #2 : Structure
A neat and tidy structure for any piece of writing is a three-part structure: beginning, middle, end. Or, my personal favorite: hook, build, payoff.
Let's start with your hook
First, check you have one. The hook appears very early in a piece, and must capture your reader's attention.
(Which is why you must know who the reader is.)
For example, I hooked you at the start of this article by connecting editing — something many writers don't like doing — with ice cream, which pretty much everyone likes eating.
If your piece is missing a hook, and you're not sure how to give it one, I break down five common hooks here.
It's also worth noting that writers often bury their hooks two paragraphs into their content.
I can't tell you how many "first two paragraphs" I've deleted in my time. All that backstory you're giving, the reader doesn't care.
Start with the bit that captures their attention, and then carry on from there. (If you really need backstory for context, you can introduce it later.)
The next structural element we need to look at is our build
This is where you introduce your idea to the reader and show them "what is."
Then you tell them why they should care by showing them "what could be."
In the introduction of this post, I showed you "what is" — vanilla ice cream. It's "does the job" writing.
The problem is, no one's Instagramming vanilla ice cream or telling their friends about it.
Then I showed you "what could be" — chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
Basically, I sold you the dream! Now I need to deliver on that dream.
And I do that via …
The final structural element: the payoff
Many writers think their final line is the payoff, but that's rarely the case.
More commonly, it's the six points, or the 10 tips, or the 15 secrets. Essentially, it's where you deliver on the promise you've made in your title.
Everything I'm walking you through right now, this is all payoff. I'm giving you practical actions that turn your vanilla draft into chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
What do you do if your structure isn't quite right?
If the proper information is all there, it might simply need re-ordering.
But more often than not, this is the part of the editing process where you need to do some re-writing and "hole filling."
Step #3: Remove roadblocks
Roadblocks are things that make the reader stop and go … "Huh?"
It's important to remove these because there are so many things our readers can be doing today. Any roadblock we throw up might make them decide it's easier to go check out stupid memes on Facebook.
What are some common roadblocks?
The first is unnecessary repetition.
This is pretty common in books or articles where an author is battling to meet a word count. So they'll say the same thing five different ways.
It also happens when a writer isn't 100 percent clear on what they're trying to say. So they share a single thought in a few different ways, hoping one of those ways will resonate with the reader.
Don't do this.
Make your point once; make it well. Then move on to the next one.
The second common roadblock is a big word that could be smaller.
Mark Twain (apparently) said:
"Don't use a five-dollar word when a fifty-cent word will do."
It doesn't matter how smart your readers are; they will always prefer a small word to a big one.
For example, you wouldn't write "utilize" when you could just write "use."
The third roadblock is jargon.
We all know about jargon because we've all been frustrated by reading it. But often, when we're doing corporate writing, it's not possible to remove it.
You need to use your judgement here. If jargon is putting unnecessary distance between you and the reader, then edit it out. If they're clued up on the topic, a little bit of jargon is okay.
In-jokes are another common roadblock.
These are fun if everyone gets them — but they seldom do. Remember, the people who don't get the in-joke will feel both stupid and distanced from you.
So you'd use them if you're deliberately trying to create a divide between people who get it and those who don't. In all other situations, you'd consider their use carefully.
Awkward syntax is when a sentence is grammatically correct but still sounds weird. In those situations, I always re-phrase the sentence because things that sound weird stop readers in their tracks.
The final most common type of roadblocks are sentences or paragraphs you love because they're awesome and make you sound super-smart.
You know you could cut them out because they're not actively contributing anything, but you leave them there anyway.
These are called darlings. And we all know killing our darlings makes our writing better.
Step #4: Smooth your transitions
This is a very hard one to give practical advice on, but I need to mention it anyway.
If you read through your piece and it doesn't feel like it flows very well, but your structure is sound, then you may need to use linking words like "but," "and," and "however" between your sentences.
Smooth transitions between paragraphs and sections are also necessary to keep the reader moving along. Harsh transitions where there is no obvious link between adjacent paragraphs act as a roadblock.
If you can't smoothly link two paragraphs or section, consider splitting them via sub-headings. Or do what Malcolm Gladwell does and put three dashes between the end of a paragraph and the start of a new one.

She was one a famed doctor of many fields and the best physician of the best medical company in America. Yet, that all crumbled down the day she learned the existences of celestials and heaven. Who would've known that the company who she was working for was on of the masterminds of the apocalypse or that she was one of the pawns that helped them kill so many people?! 
   Abandoned by everyone and stranded in China as she passed, her only regret was her own weakness in the situation and was left with silent cries of the dead. Her guilt. However, after the end of her life, a hand appeared before her offering her a second chance at life as well as the shocking truth of the world but for a price, a mission involving the imprisonment of the God of the Underworld. Can she stand up again and complete her mission or will she shirk back into her shadows and lament at her own weakness again? 
   Just when she thought that everything was futile, she discovered that she was being stalked by a shady guy! 
   "I can help you if you want to succeed in your quest, but you must come with me." He said. 
   "Um, how about no."
   "Then, I'll take you away by force, if I have to!"
   "A challenge? Great! I've always wanted to see how much my bombs have progressed!"

As the video started to play the Charizard roared loudly and a man standing behind it lifted his hand and flashed a bracelet which had a similar marble on Charizard's neck but much smaller.
The marble on the man's wrist shined and light emitted out of it, the marble on Charizard also shined brightly and the two light fuses with each other, soon Charizard starts to glow and becomes taller, the two horns on its head becomes three, its wingspan becomes larger, its body becomes a little slender, its tail, legs, and hands grow long as well.
Charizard mega evolve into Mega Charizard Y, the people in the mall seeing the video on the screen becomes shocked and fabricated by the changes on Charizard.
Sycamore smiles and stands up from his chair and steps forward.
Sycamore "This is Mega Evolution"
He says with a proud smile over his face, all the reporters, researchers, and trainers start to buzz about the thing they saw just now, they cannot properly process what just happened.
One of the reporters get up and decides to ask the question
"Professor Sycamore can you explain what is this Mega Evolution"
Sycamore "Mega Evolution is Evolution beyond normal evolution, it makes the pokemon more powerful than its final form, Mega Evolution not just only change its appearance and increase its power but also it's abilities and typing"
"So you are saying a pokemon can still evolve even after reaching its final form?"
Sycamore "Yes, but this change is just temporary"
"How is this Evolution achieved"
Sycamore "To mega evolve a pokemon beyond its final form, one must need a Mega Stone which can be seen in the Video, it is the shiny marble on Charizard's chest, the other important thing is the Keystone which can be seen in the video, it is the one the trainer is wearing on his wrist"
The reporters are aggressively writing down everything they are hearing from Professor Sycamore.
"Professor Sycamore, you said Hoenn is the region that started it, can you elaborate on that"
Sycamore "Well at first it was believed that Mega Stones and Keystones could only be found in Kalos and the first Pokemon that mega evolved was in Kalos as well, it was a Lucario."
Sycamore "I dedicated my whole life to find the secret behind Mega Evolution and it led me to the Sundial in Anistar city present in Kalos, this Sundial radiates very unique energy waves similar to Mega Stones, I thought the Sundial was the reason for Mega Stone to exist in this World, but recently my research team found something very interesting, the radiation which is emitted by this Sundial was also found in Hoenn but the amount of radiation was larger than the one in Kalos. After doing our research we finally concluded the reason behind the existence of these mysterious stones. 3000 years ago when the large meteorite hit Hoenn to create Sootopolis city, the same meteorite also brought Mega Stones and Key Stones with it, parts of the meteorite were separated from the main body and fell in different regions as well one of them being Kalos"
Wallace who was sitting was also shocked hearing this, he has spent his whole life in Sootopolis city but never knew about it.
The people present in the mall were also shocked by hearing so many new things, they couldn't even process it properly.
The reporters were busy recording and writing down everything.
Reporter "Professor Sycamore can all pokemon Mega Evolve?"
Sycamore "From what I know every Pokemon can Mega Evolve if introduced to the right Mega Stones which resonate with them, some Pokemons can have multiple Mega Evolution, like Charizard here, Charizard can have two different Mega Evolutions, the one in the video is called Mega Charizard Y its a Fire/Flying type, the other Mega Evolution is called Mega Charizard X where its typing changes to Fire/Dragon"
Reporter "Can we see the other Mega Evolution"
Sycamore "Sure, Sophie play the other clip"
Sophie nodded and played the other Mega Evolution clip where the same process took place and this time Charizard's body turned black and blue flames were coming out from the side of its mouth.
People were amazed by this evolution as well.
Reporter "So where can we find these Mega Stones?"
Sycamore "Well it all depends on a person's luck, Mega Stones can be found anywhere in Hoenn or any place where the piece of Meteorite has crashed because the radiation from the meteorite has caused the land to produce a certain kind of energy which helps to create Mega Stones and Key Stones"
Reporter "So can we see this Mega Evolution with our own eyes in front of us"
Sycamore "Hahaha, that is why Miss Diantha is with me, Miss Diantha please it's your turn"
Saying so Sycamore steps aside to let Diantha be the center of attraction.
Diantha "I am honored to be here and show you the first public documentation of Mega Evolution but before that I want to say this, It is indeed necessary for a Keystone and Mega Stone to be present for a pokemon to mega evolve but there is also another thing that is necessary, the bond between you and your pokemon, without absolute trust between you and your pokemon you cannot achieve Mega Evolution"
The Reporters took her photos and started to write down what she said as well.
Julian also nodded his head agreeing to Diantha about this aspect.
Diantha "Now, let's not talk too much and get to the fun part, Gardevoir come out"
Diantha sent out her Gardevoir, her Gardevoir was wearing a necklace and it had a Mega Stone embedded on it, the people present were quick enough to point it out and it was their first time seeing a Mega Stone in real life.
Diantha took a step forward and started the process.
Diantha "Ready Gardevoir?"
Her Gardevoir nodded and Diantha began, she flashed an identical necklace as Gardevoir's which has a Key Stone in it, it started to emit light alongside Gardevoir's Mega Stone, soon Gardevoir evolved into Mega Gardevoir, now it looked stronger and elegant than before giving off a very refreshing vibe.
People were in awe seeing such a beautiful transformation, Wallace who was sitting behind is also excited by this because not only will it change the era of man and pokemon kind but also gives him and Hoenn to have a fighting chance if calamity does occur.
Daisy was also fascinated by this Mega Evolution and she was already drawing down inspirations she got from seeing all three of those Mega Evolutions, but she suddenly realized something and looked at Julian.
Daisy "Julian, don't you have a bunch of Mega Stones with you, one on Gyarados, Pidgeot and many of your other pokemon"
Julian looked at her and smiled wearily.
Julian "Yes, I have a few of them but keep quite you don't have to speak out loudly"
Luckily the place was now filled with all kind of discussion and nobody heard Daisy talk about them.
Daisy "Oops sorry"
Julian "Don't worry even if they knew, what are they going to do about it"
Julian didn't care even all the Elite Four come together and attack him he would still be about to defeat them easily.
The conference went on and reporters asked many questions about Mega Evolution to Professor Sycamore and he answered them.

A war veteran and an anime fan as well, he got into anime by watching it with his grandson after his retirement, his grandson loved pokemon and so did he also came to like this world of pokemon where people didn't kill each other and people used to have fun with there pokemon, after watching Pokemon with his grandson and playing with him all day he got back his childhood which he could never experience due to the cruel war, and as of now our MC has turned 82 years old he was very satisfied with his life with no regrets and waiting for death to take him away but will death be is end or will it start a new beginning, a new legend.

Although I did get lost whilst exploring, it wasn't all that useless. I did stumble upon my father's study and a library, I also know where to find the kitchen from previous explorations. I also know where bathrooms are, but those aren't of great use to me, what interested me the most was my father's study and the library. There is for certain tons I can learn in those two rooms. If my hypothesis is correct then the human writing will be similar to to dragon script. Although dragons may not seem like it, they are very dextrous and have very pretty hand writing and a natural gift for art. 
Its midnight, a day after I got lost, I retraced my steps to reach the library, I pull out the books on the bottom shelf using some magic I conjure fire to light the lamp and start reading. The book I picked was a book about poisons and which plants to use when making poisons. Half way through my second book I realised I was still a child not even a year old and I needed my sleep. So I developed a system to remember where the books I chose to read are. I simply turned the books upside down when putting them in their original places. This way it won't be to noticeable and I would be able to find the book quickly. After I returned back to my room and went to bed I reviewed what I learnt today. 
This process repeated for a month and a half, by then I had already finished the whole library (which let me tell you, was no simple task since the room was huge and it was stuffed with shelves full of books). By now I knew the workings of human society and I knew many other useful little things. It's time now that I start to read the documents from my father's study.

Xaber is the greatest dragon in his clan. He is fighting the humans on a whim, just fooling around when the humans use their secret weapon. Xaber finds himself caught right in the head with their cannon ball and turns out it's the end for him as a dragon. But not the end of his journey. Can Xaber end the war that seems to go on forever? Or will Xaber have to fight on the opposing side forever?

Completing a marathon makes us happier than eating a chocolate cake. Raising a child makes us happier than beating a video game. Starting a small business with friends and struggling to make money makes us happier than buying a new computer.

And the funny thing is that all three of the activities above are exceedingly unpleasant and require setting high expectations and potentially failing to always meet them. Yet, they are some of the most meaningful moments and activities of our lives. They involve pain, struggle, even anger and despair, yet once we've done them we look back and get misty-eyed about them.

Why?

Because it's these sorts of activities that allow us to become our ideal selves. It's the perpetual pursuit of fulfilling our ideal selves that grants us happiness, regardless of superficial pleasures or pain, regardless of positive or negative emotions.
