In one countryside called Santa Barbara, there lies a statue beside a massive tree near a river. Two curious teenagers wanted to see the statue, but they didn’t know that whoever sees the statue would encounter a curse. Since then, every night, they hear a horrifying tone of a piano, that means, the statue will appear。 They found a book that tells the mystery but it was unfinished. The book tells a love story of Kasandra with the handsome and famous sculptor named Leandro. They fell in love with each other, but everything was a lie. Kasandra has a hidden secret. Leandro has a true love named Beatrice. In a traditional party of the rich people called ‘A Night to Remember’ began a horrible cursed.

After a long day, the trial was finally over. However, there was still a second trial that would happen the day after, and participants were asked to rest up for it.
Diana spent yet another night at the inn, made possible due to the fact that she had asked Adam for two gold lukus instead of one that time. As she laid in her bed, staring at the ceiling, she softly hummed a tune she was quite fond of. It was a song that brought back many fond memories, and one she used to sing a lot. But it didn't even last for a minute, and she stopped humming abruptly.
She could see it in her mind: the breeze gently swaying the grass, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, the cobble road that twisted and turned around seastone houses … memories of her hometown.
A memory which was slowly engulfed in flames, blood, and metal.
The mark on her neck stung as she remembered it, and she caressed it with her hand. It was like she could still feel it wrapping around her neck.
She got up the bed in a haste, cursing the fact that she couldn't even fondly remember her own home without such pain accompanying it. To get her mind off it, she decided to go out and eat something before sleeping.
As she wandered the streets of Fyalla, a tavern caught her eye. Rather, the smell of roast pork caught her nose.
She entered the tavern, and while she looked for a place to sit, she saw a familiar face.
"Hey, Elsen!" she called out, waving.
Elsen, noticing her, waved back. "Uh, Diana, right?"
She sat with him and gave her order to the waitress. Elsen was already almost finished with his meal.
"Don't let what happened earlier bother you too much," she assured him. "There are two trials right? If you do well tomorrow, you still have a chance."
"Yeah…" he replied without energy. It seemed the motivation didn't really work.
Elsen had already taken these trials twice before, so nothing Diana said would probably work to empower him. He himself probably knew, better than anyone else, how little chance he had of passing.
"Are you still planning on taking the trial tomorrow?" she asked.
Elsen nodded.
"Why? Is it something important to you?"
He clenched his fists. "I've … been driven to a corner. A really harsh one, too. And tomorrow's my last chance. If I can't do it tomorrow, then…"
"What do you mean it's your last chance?"
"You know of the Nine, right?" he asked.
Diana tried to remember for a bit. "Nine … the Chosen Nine? Those heroes?"
He nodded. "When the Nine mysteriously disappeared five years ago, everything fell into chaos, everywhere. Wraiths suddenly grew in number, and became more aggressive, attacking villages and people. Bandits and criminals were more active as well. Things were horrible really."
"Was it like that?" she asked. "I grew up in a pretty remote village, so I didn't really notice, or hear much about it."
He held his head down and stared at his hands as he continued speaking. "Me and my family lived in Falaila, and in a pretty remote village, too. We weren't particularly wealthy, but we could get by. Me, my sister, and my father all lived without a care in the world. So when a group of Wraiths attacked, we were none the wiser…"
There was a great pain in his eyes, so much that Diana thought that asking him about all this was a bad idea. Nevertheless, he continued.
"We had to leave our home, our belongings. Just me and my sister. Our father, he … he made sure we got out. Since then, we've been trying our hardest to get by. We didn't have money, or a proper home. Only each other. And for a while, that was enough."
"For a while?"
Elsen's hands clenched even tighter. "My sister, Sumi … she's been ill for the past few months. The medicine's too expensive. I'm talentless, so I've been doing labour jobs to scrounge up some money to buy it, but at the rate I was earning, I wouldn't make it in time."
"That's horrible. So, is that why you're trying to join the guild?" she asked.
Elsen chuckled. "I've heard the pay from the guild is great, but it wouldn't be enough. Plus, the time it would take before I could earn anything is too much. Sumi's running out of time. I'm running out of time."
"So why are you trying so hard, then?"
His body was shaking ever so slightly. Perhaps out of fear of something.
"I was offered a job to do. He promised to pay me a large sum of money if I could do it. I … I don't want to do it, but if it's for Sumi, then I'll do anything. Anything … I need to enter the guild. And this is my last chance. I've spent everything, all the money I had left, so that I could have a chance at this. If I fail tomorrow, then it's over."
"I see." Diana said. She empathized with Elsen. She, too, knew all too well what it was like to lose one's home. But the reality of the situation still stood. She might have encouraged him earlier, but she knew how little of a chance he had. It felt cruel, but she genuinely saw his weakness.
But hearing his story, and his motivation for trying, made her feel sorry for him. She felt pity towards this man, who has been cruelly pushed into the corner, left with no way out.
"A chance is still a chance, no matter how small, right?" She said. "If the chance isn't zero, then there's no reason not to pursue it. If no one else will, then I'll cheer you on. Good luck."
"I appreciate it, I really do. But hearing it from you doesn't really make me feel any better. You're strong, Diana. All of you were. As I watched you all fight, I couldn't help but admire you. And that the same time, I was jealous. Angry. I thought that the gods must be cruel if they couldn't give even a tiny bit of strength to the people who needed it the most. 'If the chance isn't zero, then there's no reason not to pursue it'? It's not like I had much of a choice anyway. I was never blessed with the strength to make a choice."
Diana could understand what he felt, and so she said nothing. She thought that saying nothing was probably the best thing to do. But that was mainly just an excuse. Rather, she just couldn't think of anything to say.
"That's why I don't need your luck. I don't need you to cheer me on, because it wouldn't matter anyways. I few words of encouragement could never give me the strength I need. If you could give me something, I'd rather it to be some gold for Sumi's medicine."
Diana let out a small chuckle. "I would've loved to give you some, but I'm not very prosperous right now myself. I wouldn't be joining the guild otherwise. Joining the Guild for money … I guess that's one thing we both have in common."
Elsen gave out a small laugh as well. He stood up from the table. "It's getting a little bit late. I should head back home to my sister. See you tomorrow."
With a wave goodbye, he left the tavern, leaving Diana to eat all alone. Her food hadn't even arrived yet, but she didn't have much of an appetite anymore. Elsen's story left a sour taste in her stomach that overpowered any hunger she had.
Still, stories like his were becoming tragically common in the world now. Ever since the disappearance of the Nine, the world felt like it was gradually declining into cold death.
The disappearance, along with the increase in Wraith activity, all seemed like omens after all. Omens that the world was going to end. And with those omens, came dread and misery that spread throughout the land. Although, Diana never really felt the true extent of that dread until she left her hometown three years ago.
After finishing her meal, she went outside and thought about heading home. But as she did, she heard loud noises coming from the center of the city. Cheers and merry sounds. Naturally, she was curious, and approached it to find out.
When she reached the city's center, she saw a crowd of people, being showered by bright lights hung from lamppost to lamppost. At the center of the city was a large statue of a man pointing his sword at the sky, and underneath that statue were stalls of people selling food and other such stuff.
"A festival?" Diana said, confused.
"You must be new here, dearie," one of the locals, an old woman, replied to her. "It's the Sword Saint's festival. Every major Irisean city celebrates every year to commemorate his achievements. That being said, Fyalla did not hold this festival last year, nor the year before, nor five years ago. This is the first time we've held it since the disappearance."
"What made you change your mind?"
"Well, perhaps we were tired of being so far away from hope. It's the least we could do in these times. Now, now, have fun, dearie."
The old lady walked away to continue browsing the stalls. While she was fond of festivities, Diana didn't really have the money to spend on this one. However, she wanted to look at the festival from somewhere high up, where she could see all the lights. Eventually, she found a terrace nearby, and ascended the stairs to reach the top.
At the terrace, there were barely any people, and compared to the festival below, the entire place seemed dim. It was calm and quiet, an atmosphere she didn't mind either. However, to her surprise, he was there, standing near the edge, gazing at the festival.
With only the faint light from below illuminating him, Adam Demens seemed mysterious and enigmatic. He had his hands on the marble railing, and was deep in thought.
Diana laughed at this coincidence. "It seems we just can't escape each other."
Adam, who noticed her, turned his head slightly, before turning his head back to the statue. "What do you want?"
"To look at the festival, nothing less and nothing more."
"Then look at the festival and stay out of my way."
Diana sighed. "Are you always this aggressive with everyone you meet? Or is it just me?"
Adam didn't answer that question.
"Why do you hate me so much? Are you really that upset that I stole from someone?"
"What if I am?"
"I told you, I've already stopped doing that! I was already doing it so that I can have a place to stay for the night while I took the trials."
Adam looked back at him. That was probably the first he's heard of that. For a while, his eyes looked softer, more willing to forgive her. But, stubbornly, he turned back to the statue and scoffed. Perhaps it was a matter of pride. Diana saw it as an opportunity to break through that wall between them while he had his guard down. After all, she found him interesting, and wanted to befriend him.
"You like festivals?" She asked innocently.
"Not really," he replied.
"That's surprising. You're staring at the festival as if you're fond of it."
"Not the festival. Him." He gestured towards the statue.
Diana remembered his name. "The Sword Saint? You like him?"
"Have you seen anyone who doesn't?" he said. "He's a hero among heroes."
It was practically impossible to find someone who didn't know of the Sword Saint. Eight years ago, the world was nearly destroyed when the Green Terror rose from its slumber, in an event known as the Green Eclipse. It was the Sword Saint and his team of nine heroes who slayed the beast and saved the world. Diana looked up at his statue, and at the legendary blade he held above his head, the very same blade that he thrust into the Green Terror's heart.
"Is that why you're so fixated on using swords even though you're a mage?" she asked after making an observation. "Then I'm guessing the reason you joined the Guild is to try and become a hero like him."
"What does it matter to you?"
"Oh, nothing. I've heard before that a lot of people have tried their hand at becoming a hero after the Chosen Nine's endeavor against the Green Terror, so I guess that's true."
"Don't lump me in with them!" He angrily turned to face her, which surprised her a little. His eyes were set aflame with an intense passion and will. "Those people are shallow, and their dreams superficial. All they care about is looking good. They prattle on about being a hero, all while they slack off and let others do the work for them. They fail to understand what being a hero is. A hero does not idle around and kill an occasional Wraith here and there. A hero saves the world, and goes beyond that. I'm different from them. I didn't join the Guild for whatever short-lived glory satisfies them. I have more important things to deal with; a duty to uphold."
Diana was blindsided. She didn't expect to hear a speech from him. "Well, aren't you passionate. I underestimated just how much of a fan you were."
He clenched his fists. "Don't mistake my ambition for admiration. You don't know me, thief. And I don't intend on letting you know."
Adam walked past Diana, and into the darkness of the city streets, away from the blinding lights. She felt as if the wall between them had only grown thicker, though she's unsure if she was at fault at all. Alone at the terrace, she continued looking down at the city center, where all the festivities where going on.
She thought about the day she's had so far, and the day that awaited her tomorrow.
She had a pretty good chance of passing the trial. She was, at the very least, confident in her ability. But now a different question hung in her mind.
Elsen was fighting for his sister's safety.
Adam was fighting for his own ideals.
But what was she fighting for?
She gave out a long sigh, because she already knew the answer, and didn't like it one bit.

'This isn't a fight that we can win,' Noah thought as he stared at the lightning storm surrounding Great Elder Diana.
The Royals took a few steps back, but Noah promptly warned them with his cold gaze. They had to remain there and help him in case of need.
Elder Regina wanted to get close to her Matriarch, but Noah shot a cold glance at her too. Great Elder Diana wasn't in a state where she could recognize her.
Great Elder Diana didn't advance, but she kept her eyes on Noah. She seemed set on making him the target for her anger.
Noah didn't have to guess why he was in that situation. Great Elder Diana had become addicted to the raw laws, and seeing him eating them had triggered her anger.
'I can't escape either,' Noah accepted in his mind as he evaluated the situation.
The range of Great Elder Diana's mind was too large for him to escape without having to clash with her at least once. He could sacrifice one of the experts with him to gain time, but none of them would be up for the task.
Moreover, Noah didn't want to escape alone only to remain lost in the void. The alliance also needed Great Elder Diana, and the Divine Cut was in her domain.
'I guess I can always throw the Royals at her if everything else fails,' Noah concluded as his expression became resolute. He would go against a liquid stage powerhouse.
"You two," Noah conveyed through his consciousness, uncaring that Great Elder Diana could hear him, "Deploy every protection you have and try to buy some time."
"Are you asking us to go against a liquid stage powerhouse?!" First Prince immediately complained. "You are a fool! Why should we even help her?"
"You either help her with me," Noah replied while pouring his coldness in his mental waves, "Or I'll leave and hunt you down if you manage to survive."
Noah's threat wasn't empty for the Royals. They had recently seen him overcoming what they thought to be mandatory limits, so they believed him when he said that he could escape the Matriarch.
First Prince went silent after the threat, and First Princess nodded at Noah to confirm their cooperation. They didn't like to work with him, but the Elbas family needed Great Elder Diana too.
King Elbas had already revealed that he had fallen prey to the addicting properties of the raw laws. If that happened again, the group of experts needed the second strongest cultivator's help.
"Give me your sedatives," Noah conveyed when looking at Elder Regina. She didn't hesitate to fly toward him and hand a few bottles containing a green liquid.
"Thank you for this," Elder Regina said, but Noah ignored her. He wasn't doing that for the Council or Great Elder Diana's sake. His interests and life were at stake there.
Great Elder Diana didn't attack during that interaction. Noah could sense some struggle in her consciousness, but he had no idea how to exploit it. It would be different if he had to face the Demons, but he didn't know the Matriarch enough to force her to regain control of her mental faculties.
"Go," Noah said at the Royals, "Launch something."
The duo from the Elbas family shot a surprised glance toward him, but they decided to follow his orders when they saw his cold reptilian eyes again.
They timidly took out a series of inscribed items meant to restrict their opponents and threw them at Great Elder Diana before retreating by a few hundred meters.
A series of golden runes and a black thread flew toward the lightning storm. The chord enlarged during the flight and began to move on its own as it encircled the powerful spell.
Great Elder Diana was far from her peak in that condition. Her centers of power were full of energy, but her mental state didn't allow her to express her individuality.
She was a violent addict angry at someone who had taken the last dose from her. Her surges of energy were chaotic, and her spells were a messy display of power.
Nevertheless, her attacks had liquid "Breath" as fuel. That alone gave her enough power to be above any gaseous stage powerhouse.
The lightning storm reduced the black thread into ashes, but the spell's intensity diminished in those spots. The golden runes approached those areas, and many of them fell apart. Still, a few managed to fly past that protection.
"My laws!" Great Elder Diana shouted through her mind and lifted her arm to deal with the incoming runes.
Sparks gathered in her palm, but a tremor rank through her consciousness and her spell dispersed the energy that it had accumulated.
That forceful interruption even caused a backlash. Deep cuts appeared on the Matriarch's arm as the "Breath" that had accumulated there left the limb in a hurry.
The golden runes successfully landed on her body and released a halo that restricted her movements. Even her consciousness shrunk under their effects.
"Go talk to her," Noah said to Elder Regina. "Use any topic that can make her force to focus."
It had become evident after the last exchange that Great Elder Diana was helping them in the battle. Part of her mind wanted them to win and restore her mental faculties.
Elder Regina nodded and flew on the opposite side of the lightning storm to tell a few stories that only she and her Matriarch knew. They were mostly tales about conversations shared while they restored the natural paradise on the western coast.
The struggles inside the Matriarch's consciousness became more intense as the runes and Elder Regina suppressed Great Elder Diana and made her cooperate.
Yet, the lightning storm still raged around her. That spell was a continuous defense that fed on her reserves of energy to expand.
Noah shot toward the array of lightning bolts at that point. A layer of dark matter covered his figure, and Snore formed before engulfing him in its massive body.
Layers of rocks and ice covered the Blood Companion and turned it into a statue. The void's unique environment allowed it to maintain its momentum even if Noah couldn't sprint since he was inside it.
The Royals controlled the runes to use all their power right before the snake statue crashed on the lightning storm. Elder Regina did the same by telling something more intimate about the Matriarch.
Great Elder Diana's consciousness shrunk even more, and the lightning bolts in her defensive spell slowed down while her confusion intensified.
The snake statue crashed on the storm then. The lightning bolts made massive holes inside Snore's defensive layers and destroyed every protection in only a round of attacks.
The Blood Companion suffered too, and its body fell apart as all those powerful attacks crashed on it.
Noah knew that Snore couldn't block the attacks, so he had relied on his iconic spell to cross that barrage. When the row of lightning bolts was about to fall on him, black smoke came out of his skin and covered him in a corrosive armor.
The lightning bolts had gone past many layers of protection, but they still destroyed the armor and unleashed their remaining power on Noah. Yet, he used that delay to sprint toward the other side of the storm.
Snore fell apart, but Noah reappeared in the defensive spell's insides with two long wounds on his back.
Gray smoke came out of the injuries, and some of his internal organs were visible, but Noah didn't care and pressed forward. Great Elder Diana was still too confused to react to his arrival.
Noah swiftly grabbed her chin and poured a bottle of the sedative that he had just taken out of his space-ring inside her mouth. The Matriarch gulped, and her expression quickly returned to a stern one.
The lightning storm disappeared when Great Elder Diana regained control of her mental faculties. Her consciousness unfolded again, but it didn't apply any pressure at that time.
"Noah Balvan," Great Elder Diana said as she straightened her position and adjusted her robe, "What can I do to thank you?"
Noah revealed a cold smile before replying in his usual manner. "Leave all the raw laws to me from now on."

"So, that's how my life ends, what a waste of time it was...". 
These were the last thoughts of a young man, shot by accident in a fight between local gangs. Little did he know that he would soon wake up in another world, a world of cultivation! 
This is the story of the whoreson of a wealthy family, of a transmigrator that had no purpose in his previous life, of a demon that will make power his reason to keep on living.

When you enter the real world, right after finishing in Cosmic Order, sometimes you aren't used to your body. It's kind of like turning an engine on a new car or waking up in a different dimension. The 
Alchemist, however, had gotten used to it. He was now down on one of the drifts. It was his first time setting foot on one in sixty years. 

The drifts were these places owned by either the Pacific, or Atlantic company. And they were sort of like a cut off piece of a sunken continent. For example, a lot of the east coast had sunk, but the helm of the one he passed had the Statue of Liberty on it. There was a lot of other drifts like that: there was one with the Eiffel Tower and one with the pentagon and one with the Washington monument. These were all repurposed when the continents split. The Alchemist was looking for one with a small statue from the Metropolitan. It was where Tao Lin grew up.

Now, The Alchemists real name was Robert Lee. He was one of those half-and-half babies that popped up everywhere in the 21st and 22nd centuries. Actually, at least half of the world was mixed in some way. One of the reasons it was so hard to find the 300 cultivators for the pods was because of all the mixing. Regardless, he finally found the statue he was looking for. But when he landed, no one was there for some reason. He had no idea that they thought he was a missile, or a wasp. Since he couldn't find anyone, he walked over towards a restaurant and went inside. Apparently, Tao Lin's mom was supposed to work there.

"Who are you?" A meek voice asked.

"Hungry." 

"Well, you're going to have to eat somewhere else. We're closed today."

The Alchemist squinted his eyes. "Are you Tao's mom?" 

"You know Tao Lin!" 

"Give me a tomato, and some good food please." The Alchemist loved tomatoes.
 …

Tao Lin brandished the tiger crane spear into one of the beast's eyes. Next, he spun out three little fire frisbees that split the monsters running away into three slices. It looked like porkchops were sliced from a pig. The monster rolled over in the snow as some of its red 'jelly' poured out onto the snow-white ground. 

"Intruder! Intruder!" A little mouse monster yelled with a high-pitched voice.

Tao scratched his head and tried to find out where that noise was coming from. "Is someone in here?" He couldn't see where the mouse was, and it sounded like someone was plucking a viola. It barely even reached his ears, and he imagined the rest of the pack didn't hear it.

 "Now, you've insulted me!" The little pipsqueak was very fast, and his face bar shot up.

"You've insulted the great pipsquak's honor. You're face bar will go up one hundred points."

Tao Lin stared at the side of his vision, and noticed he was only fifty points from calling over the boss, 110/160. However, that wasn't his only problem. The little mouse was going berserk, sort of like a pesky rodent, and no matter how hard he tried he couldn't kill the monster quietly.

"I'm not something you can just step on, jerk!" The mouse Tao would later name mighty mouse shot at him. His little paw met Tao's fist, and one of them ricocheted right against the cold glass ice on the wall.

"It's not over, you hear me human!" The mouse wiggled his little body trying to get out of the hole in the wall.

"Well, at least finally you can't move." Tao Lin fired a ball of fire right at him.

"You've acquired the ring, quiet's speed ring."

Tao put on the ring. As far as he was concerned, the quicker he could get to the boss the better. 
Alas, the system wasn't so kind. Of course, the dungeon would have obstacles along the way. But not only that, there would be a surprise spawning right in the middle of him and another set of monsters. Tao popped a few pills into his mouth, and his body started suffusing red light.

Diana Hong walked forward into the room and noticed a crown with a lady on top of it. She had run into one of the queens of the shadow realm, and she hadn't bowed.

"I'm sorry, I'm not from these parts," Diana Hong said, "Please Ginger, tell her that I didn't mean it."

"Well, the giants did it. Why, you can't figure out something so simple. I don't believe you," Ginger said.

The Queen floated down as her shadow slowly and slowly shrunk. Oddly, she had her throne all the way up by a window to extend her shadow. So, basically, when the sun hit her the shadow would spread to the entire space. However, she was quite a tiny girl. And when she finally appeared in front of Diana she was only standing at about 5 feet tall.

"Hmm, should I forgive her Ginger. It really is her first time here."

"Hmph, she insulted us mom. We were going to give her a gift too. Maybe we shouldn't give it to her anymore."

The Queen walked over to Diana and leaned in. "Let me look into your pretty eyes, dear. Let's see if you have it."

Back with Tao's mom and The Alchemist at the Cafe.

The Alchemist sat down at a table with Tao's mom. She was just as Tao described, but also as stubborn. And he wasn't sure if he should go through with his plan of dragging her into the pod. 
Frankly, he had only gotten two new cultivators in four months. If he didn't get his mom to try it, he would feel defeated. But she was staring at him, and just served him a delicious sandwich. She even complemented his unkempt red hair, praised him for being in his 60's, and introduced him to the entire community. If that wasn't bad enough, let's not forget the kids he wanted to test were baking food for him in the kitchen. Well, there was also the picture of Tao on the wall smiling. The scales were slowly shifting, but he would feel bad about what he did.
….    

Ginger stared at her mom with her mouth agape. 

"She has it, oh dear I don't believe it! We must give her the treasure." 

Ginger crossed her arms. "Well, if you're going to give it to her. At least give her the test."

"Diana," the queen said, "I have a Legendary Diamond ring for you if you pass the challenge. Would you like to accept?"

"What ring are you talking about?"

"Well, let's just say if you wear it you'll be overpowered." Ginger sighed. "If momma likes you, then I like you again."

"Well, fine I'll accept your challenge my Queen." Diana humbly bowed.

"Hmm, you catch on fast girl. Follow me to the portal will you."

Diana Hong didn't mind doing what she said. Nope, for a diamond ring she'd do just about anything. However, she wondered if anyone would ever give her another ring. And for some reason, what Ginger said about Tao kind of stayed in the back of her head. 'Well, mom and dad, I'll try for you guys', she thought. The portal was right up ahead.

Diana, Jonathan, and Zosar popped out from a blue hole on the other side of the Nile river. In front of them stood a massive royal palace gate with a lion statue on one side and a horse statue.

Zosar looked ahead of the palace with a complicated look. He clearly remembered how he died. They are only a hundred or more steps away from the castle.

Diana and Jonathan, unable to wrap up their heads of this outcome, looked dumbfounded with open mouths.

"Wow! you are a royal member, your highness. I have only seen a massive building like this in movies, in our time," Jonathan said, looking at the building.

"From today on, I will avenge for my and my mother's grievances," Zosar murmured to himself and moved forward in the sand. Each step of his showed his determination.

'I am torn in between the past and present now. What's the reason for me to be here..? I don't even remember a thing from my past life. Urgh! It's so frustrating,' Diana thought to herself.

"Hey! You prince Zosar, stop right there..? Why did you involve us in this..?" Diana asked with irritation apparent in her eyes.

Flash of memories from the past flickered in her mind making her more confused than before.

She closed her eyes for a brief minute and opened them again. Jonathan almost fell on his knees for the coldness and bitterness she showed in a fraction of second.

His scorpion birthmark started turning into gold color. Suddenly his eyes turned into blue color whereas Diana got a pure white color feathery tail.

'What's happening to me..? From where did I get this tail..? Is this punishment for not believing in the goddess Isis..? My teeth, I feel like I am going to die. Am I going to die in an unknown place..? What would happen to my parents..?" gritting her teeth, Diana tried to endure the pain.

When she almost lost her consciousness, all of a sudden, the Nile river blossomed with blue water lilies. Under the bright light, Khonsu and Osiris emerged from inside the Nile river.

"Bear with the pain, for now, child. You are not going to die, but your body is gaining it's previous life's memories along with the body features" god Khonsu with a sweet smile, look at Diana.

"Since you came back from the afterlife, you possess certain memories with you, so use them wisely, boy," god Osiris commented with a simple look and looked at Zosar.

When Diana thought she would die for sure, her eyes honey turned into blue color, and in between her teeth, sprouted fangs. On her head stood two white bunny ears that are not completely visible.

Ignoring his surroundings, Zosar hugged her tightly, saying, "my princess, you are back. Do you remember me now..?"

"Cough, cough. Hey Prince! Are you going to choke me to death..?" Diana asked in return, circling her hands around her waist.

Jonathan almost puked blood for the scene, unfolding in front of him. Never in his wildest dreams, Jonathan thought she would hug this Prince.

'what the hell is happening here..? Diana looks like a devil came from hell, and this man is hugging her as if his life depends on this little devil,' he thought to himself.

"Child, she can hear your inner thoughts. Her power is raw, so don't provoke her now," said god Khonsu while Diana's blue eyes raged in furry, remembering everything. 

Looking at the sky, god Khonsu said, "prince Zosar, it's time" and moved his hand in a circular motion towards the water while god Osiris started uttering enchanted words in the Egyptian language.

A massive army from the other side of the riverbank flew to this side and kneeled to Diana. The head priest, Nafret, welcomed her, "My queen Parthena Nabil, welcome back. We were waiting for your arrival."

All the men and women in the army looked pale and handsome while the women were more beautiful than an average woman.

"Since you three came to this life, it's your choices that make your lives worthy of this chance," said god Osiris and gave a pendant with blue water lily engraved inside the transparent marble to Parthena.

"You are destined to rule this vampire kingdom Parthena, unlike in your previous life, I hope you will utilize this chance wisely," said god Khonsu with a knowing smile.

Diana/Parthena nodded her head as she remembered everything now. She looked at Jonathan and placed her thumb finger on his forehead, and then closed her eyes.

"Woman, I am your only compassion from the present, don't you dare" Jonathan wanted to speak more but shut his mouth looking at her now red-blue eyes.

She started moving her thumb finger in a circular motion. 'Wow, it seems she remembers everything. Is she making me remember my past life as well..?' he wondered, thinking to himself.

"Stop thinking about random things, Jonathan. You will come to know once you concentrate on what I am doing to you," Diana/Parthena said with her eyes closed.

Suddenly after a minute, 'why am I feeling this excruciating pain..? I will be blind and dead here without going back,' Jonathan thought and tightly closed his eyes while gritting his teeth. 

Like Diana, he also got fangs and a tail, but unlike hers, his tail is of a blue one. The blue color eyes and the blue color tail symbolize the Nabil family's Vampire breed.

The Heskel Nabil is the father of Parthena and died in a war between human royal and vampire royals. Currently, Parthena Nabil is the crown princess and the future queen.

Alecia lay down on the sofa near the office's window, with Wallace sitting on the chair facing her.

"Although I've put you in a deep sleep," he rested an open book on his lap, "you'd still hear my voice, as clear as when you were awake. Now, Alecia, tell me what you see."

"I feel very short." She chuckled. "Like a child."

"Interesting." He scribbled on his open book. "Are you sure you're a child?"

"Yes."

"Can you tell me where you are?"

"I traversed down a beautiful passage as if the stars had been captured and put on each side of the wall, with colors of blue, red, green, and white. I had an urge to touch them, but I shouldn't. Ahead of me, a white crystal statue shaped like a woman came into view. I ran towards her out of pure joy, but as I got closer, the walls of the passage ended. Below me was a bottomless drop, and the floor where I stood narrowed towards the crystalline woman. It didn't stop me from balancing towards her.

"Beautiful colors surrounded the inner walls, headed into the depths below. I crouched and crawled towards the end as I fixed my eyes on the crystalline statue, daring not to look below me. I reached the round floor where she stood.

"I stepped towards her as if in a trance, amazed by the beauty she displayed. She constantly emitted white flames. When I touched her outstretched hand, strange white energy flowed around my hand. I withdrew, out of fear, only to feel a rush of energy flow around me. I looked at my hands and watched as the white flames disappear."

"What's wrong?" asked Wallace.

In the field near the building, people worked on the crops, where they pulled out heads of cabbages, placed them in sacks, and carried them in the building. Alecia exited the building and spotted Diana standing near the field, taking notes.

"I'm not entirely sure if we can use this," uttered a young man, showing Diana a cabbage head. "You see this dark patch here?"

"It should be fine." Diana leaned in to take a closer look.

"They can cut it off, and it'll be fine after a rinse." She smiled and patted him on the shoulder.

Alecia strode towards her.

"Good afternoon, Alecia." She gave a slight smile. "What brings you here?"

"I wanted to see what you're doing," Alecia said as a gatherer walked past them.

"My work here's to make sure whatever we eat is fresh enough." She gestured Alecia to follow her.

"How's your leg?"

She bent and straightened her leg. "It's a lot better. I thought I'd still be limping."

"Good." Diana smiled and looked at the field ahead of them.

"Ever since you recovered, I've noticed how Uncle Wallace has shown great interest in you."

"Yes." Alecia chuckled. "Yes, he has."

They both watched the gatherers pull out the remaining cabbages across the small field. In the distance, dark wooden houses stood, with people walking to and fro as they attended to their own businesses. Across the sky, as far as the eye could see, the sun's rays cut through the openings of the gray clouds.

"May I ask a question?" Diana broke the silence. "The facility you woke up in, was it still intact?"

"I'm not really sure," Alecia said. "The room I was in had only one way out, with stairs that led to an exit."

"So it was like an underground bunker?"

"If that's what you call it, yes."

"I'd like for you to take me there sometime." 

Alecia shook her head. "I don't think I want to go back there. That area's too dangerous."

"That's not true."

"You don't believe me?"

"Everywhere is dangerous." Diana waved her hand across the field. "This place gives an illusion of peace, but it has its own danger. Anyone here has the potential to steal or kill; it's only a matter of reason."

She looked at her.

"Or no reason at all."

"Why do you want to go there?"

"I'd like to see what I might find, plus, it's nice to be out for a change."

"Why didn't you do it before? Doesn't Virgil go out a lot?"

"He only goes so far." She rested her hands on the wooden fence and stared at the already empty field. "Only you'd know where to find the facility."

"I don't even know where this place is, let alone that facility you speak of." 

"Oh yes, of course." Diana chuckled. "Virgil found you unconscious in the woods, and if he could come with us, he'd know where he found you."

"How would that help?"

AN Disclaimer: I'm putting this here to tell you guys that I'm not really too familiar with the Greek Gods in the DC Universe so the following will be based on my own thoughts and how I wanted them to fit in the story to simplify things and not make it too...complicated.
Also, to those that said that Lucas was already a God before because of Darkseid, no, that isn't counted yet since he doesn't have full access to his powers at 100% so he is, at most, a demigod.
Zeus' powers that are mention is also because he is synced with Diana, who is the daughter of Zeus.

Inside a large hall, a long table with multiple chairs around was placed.
At the head of the table was an old man with white hair and a robust figure. He wore greek robes and held a staff on one hand which flickers constantly, resembling a lightning bolt.
On his right side sat a beautiful and mature woman with brown hair. She looked at the projection being shown at the middle of the table and turned to the old man.
"I can feel your presence in his veins. Is he another one of your...children, Zeus?"
Being stared at by his wife Hera, Zeus broke into a cold sweat and his eyes darted around.
"U-umm...maybe...I don't remember…"
"I see...you don't remember huh…?"
"..."
Though Zeus saw Hera smile, he felt she wasn't smiling at all!
He cleared his throat with a cough and spoke up.
"Anyway. Child or no child of mine. What should we do with this Lucas? He had somehow sealed Ares in him and gained his powers. Turning into a new God of War…"
Beside Zeus sat another old man with a sturdy figure and wavy hair. On his hand, he held a huge trident.

Lucas smiled and touched her cheek.
"Diana, if I didn't want it, I would just refuse. I was just saying, if this is what you wanted, then I'm here for you 100%."
"Lucas…"
Then, Lucas remembered something.
He pulled a necklace around his neck and saw the various rings on it.
Bruce had given this to him when he had returned. It was a gift from Diana and the others when he disappeared in the past and the other girls also followed suit in the following years.
Lucas was speechless and didn't know how he could possibly wear multiple rings on his ring finger so he simply turned it to a necklace.
After pulling it out, he asked Diana while awkwardly scratching his head.
"Umm...which ring was yours again?"
"..."
At this moment, Diana started to question her decision.
After a while, Diana walked off with her mother to prepare for the wedding, claiming that Ares had destroyed it so they needed to prepare again.
Lucas looked around and wondered what she meant. There doesn't seem to be any decorations…
When Diana and Hippolyta were a distance away, Hippolyta pulled her daughter and glared at her.
"What's wrong? How come this is the first time we are going to plan a wedding!? Weren't we supposed to have everyone share Lucas!? And I was looking forward to it too…"
Diana rolled her eyes at her mother. She spoke in a hushed manner.
"We can't! That Aphrodite is here! If she finds out, she'll definitely join in! Who knows when anyone is going to get their turn by then!?"
"...Fine. But this is only postponed!"
"...Why does it have to be Lucas?"
Diana pouted while Hippolyta smirked at her.
"Isn't this your fault? You keep boasting how great Lucas is in bed and Donna slept with him too and started boasting! Now everyone wanted a piece of that meat!"
"..."
Diana sighed and placed her palm on her face.
"Can't you just go to another human city and find a guy? With the quality of women here, it should be no problem landing one or two men…"
"Diana, we've been through this. Us Amazons desire strong men. That Superman is too much of a...boyscout. He won't do. As for the rest of the men in your Justice League, they already have partners and it would only create trouble if we take them. Lucas is the only one who's fine having multiple wives! This is a unique catch!"
"..."
Diana sighed again and regretted boasting her man...she didn't think the situation would escalate this much…
After a while, Diana shook her head.
"Anyway, this is all useless if Lucas disagrees. So we'll talk about this another time."
"Hmph, having a land full of beautiful and fit women, plus having the chance to do it with me, what sane man would refuse?"
"...Didn't you just say that Clark and the others-"
"This and that are different!"
"..."

While Diana and Hippolyta bickered, Aphrodite came before Lucas.
"Congratulations! I heard you're getting married."
"Hm? Ah, you're still here?"
"Ouch. That hurt~"
Though she said so, she didn't seem to have been hurt at all…
Aphrodite giggled and winked at him.
"Anyway, Zeus is calling me now so I need to go. When you're ready, come find us in Olympus!"
After she said that, she flew up and disappeared.
Lucas sighed in relief once she was gone. It was too dangerous to be near that woman who was the embodiment of beauty…
Lucas had nothing else to do for now other than to wait for Diana and the others to finish preparing.
Just as he was about to leave, he heard an eerie voice echo from behind.
"Kukuku, so this is the new God of War?"
"Who's there?"
Lucas turned around but didn't see anything.
Suddenly, a figure appeared before him.
What he saw was a man...at least, it should be a man. However, he didn't seem human.
He had the physique of a normal person. He wore black and red armor and held a unique black helmet under his armpit.
However, his face was...beyond recognition.
He could only see his lower face and his ear. Other than that, the upper half of his face was filled with candles and wax.
"...What the heck are you?"
"You can call me Hades. The God of the Dead and the King of the Underworld."
"Huh...you look very…"
"Scary?"
"I'd say weird but...if you say so…"
Hades chuckled at his answer.
"Well? Are you here to cause trouble as well like Ares?"
"Kuku, don't worry. I'm not here to fight. I detest fighting. The more people who died, the more and more populated the Underworld is. Do you know how annoying it is to rule over trillions of people and all they do is moan in pain, shout loudly, and make noise all the time?"
"Uhh...I guess that's annoying."
Hades sighed.
Lucas actually started to feel bad for the guy…
"In any case, I found out that Ares had been planning to overthrow me for a while now. Ares isn't like me. If he rules the Underworld, he'd use them as his army and cause chaos to all worlds. You dealing with him has earned my favor."
"Umm...you're welcome?"
Hades chuckled again.
Every time he chuckles, Lucas feels goosebumps all over his skin.
"I don't like owing favors, which is why I'm here. After you dealt with Ares, I moved up your parents into a VIP section in the Underworld to save them from torment. If you wish to see them, you can only do so once."
"My...parents?"
Lucas was stunned.
Did he mean...Thomas and Martha Wayne?
Lucas felt conflicted.
Although they were his parents, Lucas didn't actually feel much connection to them as he never met them when growing up.
He didn't know what he would feel if he met them as well.
Lucas frowned and thought for a moment.
After a while, he turned to Hades and asked.
"This favor...can you give it to my brother?"
"Hm? Is it that Bruce Wayne who calls himself Batman?"
"Yeah. I think it's better if he's the one who meets our parents...I don't really know them well and it would be a waste if I was the one who took this chance."
Hades chuckled and Lucas shivered at him chuckling once again.
"Kuku, alright. Give this to your brother. Once he breaks it, he will be sent to the Underworld."
Lucas received a small gargoyle statue from Hades.
"...He can leave afterward...right?"
"Of course. You think too badly of me."
"Ha-haha...I was just asking…"
Lucas laughed awkwardly while Hades just smiled and shook his head.
It can't be helped. Hades has been vilified a lot in various stories and movies so it was natural not to trust him.
"Alright. If your brother doesn't return after 24 hours upon entering, then come to Olympus to find Zeus if you don't trust me."
"Sorry. Thanks."
"It's fine. I'm used to it by now. Oh, congratulations on your marriage."
"...Thanks…"
With that, Hades disappeared in a ball of fire and was gone.
Lucas looked at the small gargoyle statue in his hands and chuckled.
This Hades...doesn't seem like a bad guy…
Lucas didn't really know the Greek Gods in the DC Universe well but from meeting him, he could tell that he didn't have any ill intentions.
Of course, it was still better to be cautious.
As he said, if Bruce doesn't come back after a day, he'd come knocking on his door and kick his ass.
He looked at the statue and muttered.
"Parents huh...I wonder if my parents from that world are still okay…?"

Been binge watching Smallville for a while now and I keep getting infuriated by Clark's decisions all the time huhu. The next arc after the wedding and Bruce meeting his parents would be something in Metropolis for some Lucas and Clark duo time. Supergirl and Powergirl might join too XD
