A collection of STAR WARS themed one-shots

(A/N: I don't plan to have the MC's real name said for now. There's a reason for it which will be discussed in a later chapter. But for now, he will just be known as Mr. MC. )

Mr.MC was just your average guy. He had nothing special going on for him, and the only thing he was really known for was his star wars knowledge. Mr.MC is an avid fan of the Star Wars universe. In fact, he wasn't even upset with how bad the recent movie trilogy was. He just wanted to see another movie that took place in the ever-expansive star wars universe.

In the year 2011 Star Wars: The Old Republic was released. At that time, he was just a 19 year old starting to stand on his own two feet. He had just moved out from his parents and was living in a crappy, run-down apartment that was just filled to the brim with star wars memorabilia. When he heard about the game, he immediately purchased it and started his journey into the SWTOR universe.

When he first loaded up the game, he felt as though he had just stepped into another universe. The character creation screen came up and it was time for him to make his first character. Mr.MC had sat there for over an hour coming up with his first, his main, character. He finally decided on an interesting approach. When making the character, he thought back to the six star wars movies and also to the comics. While thinking about that, he realized that there were hardly any Jedi that were cyborgs.

That's when he decided. He picked the Cyborg race and customized him to look around 6 feet tall, muscular, had a light tan with black hair and a military hair-cut. His eye was a light blue and the cybernetic eye looked amazing. He also gave his character a goatee since he wanted him to look cool, but also wise.

After that, he named his character Macen. The reason behind the name was because Mr.MC was a huge fan of Mace Windu. He found him to be an amazing character, plus the fact that he could be how he was even though he was supposed to be a Jedi. Thus, he decided to name his first ever character after his favorite star wars (movie wise) character.

Thus the grind began. Day after day was spent grinding up that character to max level, maxing all of his companions influence and making sure their armor was also top tier. Then he was done, he had millions of credits, bought everything available, unlocked it all account wide, max storage etc. He even made a guild just for himself so he could have the guild bank max as well.

After all that, he went on to make the next character, then the next. He kept making characters until he had one of each class/sub class. So in total he had sixteen level 50's, with each looking super cool and had millions of credits on each of them (not including what was all stored in the guild banks).

Once he was done with all of that, he began to sell his services to help other players out. He made a decent amount of money doing that but he still stayed in that apartment of his. He felt that he shouldn't get something new since it would be a waste of money and the apartment had all he needed. He paid to get it fixed up and looking nice but other than that, the rest of the money went into paying for bills, food, necessities and of course going to star wars conventions and events.

After some time, the Rise of the Hutt Cartel was announced to be released. Around when the announcement happened, he had finished his collection. His collection had EVERYTHING! From the cruddy, horrible looking mounts to the awesome looking beasts he had it all. Pets, clothing, weapons, event titles etc. Plus, all of them were unlocked account wide.

Once he found out about the announcement, he decided to prepare. He looked into all the stuff that was said to be released, re-did some older content and operations to make sure that he was up to par with anything that might be thrown his way. He also went and finished the HK-51 quest on all of his characters so that he had done absolutely everything. When Rise of the Hutt Cartel comes out, he does the exact same thing...everything.

Fast Forward a bit, and now the announcement of Shadow of Revan comes out along with the Forged Alliances Parts 1 through 3. At this time, Mr.MC didn't have Macen romance anyone. In his legacy he had set Macen to be friends or rivals with all his other characters but no romance, not even with Kira.

He had just gotten towards the end of the Manaan Flashpoint when he saw her, Lana Beniko. He instantly fell in love with her and decided to have his Jedi romance her. He found this hilarious since the Jedi was the one flirting with the sith, and not the other way around.

After SoR (Shadow of Revan if you didn't know), he had fully romanced Lana to the fullest that he was allowed to in the game. He kicked Revans behind with his random pug group to have the full experience, and went at it again with all the npcs.

Now, to summarize the rest of his adventure: After SoR, He went on to Ziost to reunite with Lana and to put an end to Vitiate who was causing havoc on the planet. After Vitiate destroyed the planet and Macen helps whoever he can after the planet faced destruction, he chased after him to the unknown regions where he, Darth Marr and others were attacked by the Empire of Zakuul. This eventually lead to Marr's Death and Macen (Who is known as the Outlander by Zakuul) becomes frozen in carbonite for five years. After being saved by his love (Lana), they make a grand escape but not before preventing a huge explosion which would've caused thousands to be killed. Their escape lead them to the endless swamp, where they discovered an ancient ship known as the Gravestone. They repair it and leave Zakuul. After escaping, they went to a free skyport known as Asylum. After helping one of the people that saved him on Zakuul, he then went back to Zakuul in order to get allies to help him out. One thing led to another and eventually they had a showdown at Asylum since they were ratted out by someone who they thought they could trust. After escaping from Asylum they end up on a world called Odessen. From there, he starts an Alliance between the republic and empire to take down Zakuul. He gets nominated to become the Alliance Commander. Fast Forward, they have gotten tons of allies and groups from all over to join. He found his old companions and even got married to Lana at the end. He ends up sparing Arcaan, kills Vaylin, and takes down Valkorian (Aka Vitiate).

(A/N: The above paragraph is basically a summarized version of what went down from the events of SoR to the end of KOTET <--- Knights of the Eternal Throne. If you wanna find out the full story, I recommend playing the game. I just did this summary so that people who read this would see what happens before the current expansion which will be talked about next and what leads up to the actual start of this story. Thanks ;)

Mr.MC had just finished up KOTET on all of his characters and did everything else when he finally decided to take a little break from SWTOR. I mean, he was super rich in the game, and had everything. What else was there to do? He finally took a break from the game and went and watched the first two movies of the new trilogy.

After just killing time watching star wars, reading books and just fooling around, he heard the announcement for the next expansion. He wasn't nearly as excited as he was back when the game first started but he was glad there would be new content to complete and more stuff to add to his very immense collection.

After waiting for quite some time, Onslaught was released. With this expansion, He was able to get more companions and was especially excited when he was able to have malgus as a companion, but only temporary and only on his dark side characters.

And with all of that, he has now done everything up to the current patch. Has all achievements, the most powerful gear, max renown, fully equipped flagship/player ship, all strongholds fully decorated, full guild banks (Pub and Imp) and all companions at max influence on all characters. He's done it all.

(A/N: Whew, took a while to get here, but I wanted to detail it all up to the point I wanted to get y'all started at instead of being like wow he's done it all now lets go on in.)

Mr.MC was currently on Macen riding around on his meditation hoverchair and was just walking around Coruscant. He was currently looking at the sights and reminiscing his time from when he first started playing this game and arrived on this planet for the first time.

Suddenly, he receives a whisper from some random player. [UGOB]: "Hello there, you look as though you've done everything you could in this game currently. Wouldn't you want to have more fun, but in the future? I'm talking about your characters, alliance, companions and all in the future. Of course, giving you Ziost, Odessen and Zakuul in the future would also be amazing, wouldn't you agree?" Mr.MC just kinda stares at the message. He mostly thinks that it's going to lead to a scam or try to pilfer credits off of him. But, what can a message do? [Macen]: "Sure, that would be a lot of fun. To be able to have all of that and live it right before the events of Episode I would be fun. I'd be able to do so much. But, I'd need to have a system of sorts to be able to learn all of my powers, and switch between my different characters." (A/N: Okay real quick, by switching I'm basically going to have it to where all companions from all twelve including g-banks, flagships etc. would all go to the main-Macen. But he can still switch form from his Macen form to say his gunslinger form. Which means its almost like he has multiple personalities.)

It was almost instantaneous when the reply was sent. [UGOB]: "Sounds like a good idea. Lets go with that. Have fun :P." After Mr.MC read this line, a line of code came out of the computer and enveloped him, making him disappear.

An avid SWTOR player finally completes everything in the game, from having all companions possible to getting every item and unlocking them all account wide just to show off.

Having finished everything, our MC sits back and looks at his main character: A level 70 Jedi Guardian. His character is a Cyborg Male with one eye missing (Hence a cybernetic eye) and his right arm is a cybernetic arm (But it has skin and stuff on it so it looks like it is a real arm when it really isn't).

For his guardian, he decided to romance Lana Beniko (Yup just Lana only, no cheating on her or you get shocked x-x). They're married and everything is all good. (Imagine the Guardian's armor looking like the Guardian's Exalted armor set and the helmet just being the black scanner). His weapon being an unstable Light Saber with a Predacious Gold-Green Color Crystal.

Lastly, the crew skills he learnt was slicing, scavenging, and armormech.

Anyhow....(Went on that long tangent describing the MC's character XD) So, while our MC was just wondering around on his character he received a whisper from some random player.

[UGOB] "Hey, would you like to be the character you are, bring all your followers and companions with you as you explore the star wars of the future?"

Of course, our MC thinks that its just some random scammer trying to get people to go to their website to steal account info or something. But...."Sure why not..sounds like fun" Then the MC blacks out.

-------------

Alrighty. So, as you can tell, the MC gets reborn as his Jedi Guardian character into the current Star Wars universe (placing him right before Episode I starts). Plus, the planets Odessen, Zakuul and Ziost are sent with him to the timeline (Including all of his companions which has max affinity with, all of his followers and all that.) So, now with the Alliance and three worlds showing up out of no where, it should lead to an interesting story.

Hope you enjoy. :)

As Blake and Shasta were making their way to Winchester, Scott was helping Jackie clean up from dinner. The pair chatted amiably while the children darted in and out of the room. Both Grant and Emma seemed to take to Scott naturally, laughing happily at his jokes and funny faces. Jackie watched with interest as Grant showed off his collection of Star Wars figures to Scott’s admiring approval.

Scott straightened up as Grant jetted off for yet another handful of treasures. “I have to admit, I had quite the collection when I was a kid.” He laughed good naturedly.

“You’re being a very good sport,” Jackie laughed. “It appears you have a couple of new fans.”

He glanced off in the direction the children had gone. “They’re great kids. You have a welcoming family vibe going on here.”

“Well, it’s actually time for bed. It gets nice and quiet here after that. I don’t suppose you’d like to hang out for a glass of wine?” Immediately, she blushed. “I mean, certainly, you don’t have to. You’d probably like to go to your cabin for some peace and quiet. I’m sorry, I don’t know what I was thinking.”

His smile was slow. “Jackie, I’d love to relax with you and a glass of wine. In fact,” he stepped closer, “why don’t I pour while you get everyone tucked in? You can meet me on the deck.”

Jackie nodded. “I’d like that. I’d like that a lot.”

Half an hour later, Jackie and Scott sat in companionable silence on the back deck of the lodge. The full moon reflected in the ripples that the gentle summer breeze stirred on the lake.

Jackie sipped her merlot and fixed her gaze on the end of the dock. “Again, I’m sorry about the less-than-welcoming reception I gave you when you first arrived. Those guys who are after Shasta have me on edge. But that’s no excuse.”

“No apology necessary. I understand.” He looked to her grinning. “You were ready to take my head off. I was impressed. You’re a bold, strong lady.”

“I don’t know about that.” She swirled the wine in her glass, embarrassed.

“I do.”

Jackie met his intense gaze. “Well, it’s nice of you to say.”

“So tell me about running a lodge on the lake.” He leaned back in his lounge chair and watched her expectantly.

Jackie shrugged slightly. “It’s my life. Blake and I grew up here, you know. I moved away for a while, but I think I always knew I’d be back. And I love it, really. Thank god Blake came back to help me run the place after… Well, I guess you know about my ex leaving us high and dry.”

Scott nodded. “Blake mentioned it to me.”

Jackie sighed. “He brought the plane so that now we have flight service, and that’s allowed us to add a handful of remote cabins. He’s a huge help. It’s a lot to take care of.”

His gaze was piercing, yet warm. “But who takes care of you?”

Her jaw went slack as her eyes widened. After staring at him for a brief moment she turned away, blinking back tears.

Scott reached over to pat her hand. “I’m sorry. Sometimes I get too personal. Occupational hazard.” He stood. “Jackie, I have had a wonderful evening. Dinner was fantastic and the company was even better. But I’ve intruded on your hospitality long enough. I’m going to head to my little cabin and hit the sack.”

Jackie watched him descend the deck stairs to the ground. He turned and gave a little salute of a wave. She smiled and waved back. “See you tomorrow.”

He looked pleased. “I’ll look forward to it.”

Late that night, after Shasta had fallen asleep, Blake lay awake watching the light and shadows cast from the fireplace play across the ceiling of the cabin. Shasta stirred slightly against his shoulder and sighed in her sleep. He thought back on his words to her earlier in the evening. You make me happy. And he knew it was true. With Shasta, he’d found happiness he hadn’t thought was possible.

Now, how to keep it?

We left the Rimma Trade Route on Yag'Dhul and took the Corellian Trade Spine for Coruscant. A full Bacta treatment for otherwise untreatable wounds needed a one-ton tank of the universal medicine, and we carried sixty million tons of it. The galactic capital however was a megacity of trillions; the cargo would barely last them a month. Another million tons of highest-quality Bacta extract would be quietly sold to senators, megacorp CEOs, crime lords, and other high-society people. Advanced medicine had nearly doubled lifespans without need of dangerous genetic tinkering, but substances that gave youthful appearance only the extremely rich could afford. I wondered if the difficulties in genetics and the limited transhumanism in the Star Wars universe was a result of the Force, but ultimately it didn't matter.
I stayed on the ship for the whole trip while Father negotiated deals with the movers and shakers of our world. Bacta wasn't our only cargo. Raw, natural biomass from Thyferra was sold to multiple research labs and bioengineering companies. It was supposedly meant for biochemical and synth-flesh development and production as natural raw materials almost entirely eliminated rejection of various cybernetics, but I suspected much of it would go towards attempts at uncovering the secret of Bacta. I also suspected the corporations controlling Thyferra had removed any Bacta components from the biomass beyond selling it, so corruption and underhanded deals countered themselves. It wasn't our business in any case, we were just honest merchants.
That I could think that without laughing out loud showed how things had changed.
Ratty kept giving me lessons into being the perfect Kuati princess I was supposed to be. Unsurprisingly, killing people was not against the princess code. Only a week after our encounter with the fake pirates, I got a private holomessage from my half-sister Jestra. A very beautiful, Oriental, college-age girl, she talked and acted like an airhead, giggling all the time. She congratulated me on my hundred and two new shoes and asked me about my new racing bike, elated that "little Arrie" was finally showing interest in the finer things in life. Laughingly admitting to being jealous of my new collection, she vowed to get one of her own; some good friends of hers would help her track the designer.
After some thought, I told her that Naboo fashion was ridiculous and that she should reconsider. The fortune of Kuat nobility being all spent on flashy jewelry and triangular headgear would be terrible. We giggled some more, the very picture of two estranged siblings finding common ground in being girly and shallow. If the conversation ever reached the wrong ears hopefully they'd dismiss it as something innocuous... but I doubted it. At that moment, I didn't particularly care, though.

Onara Kuat was an arrogant, self-centered, racist bitch. Apparently, that fake pirates had attacked and almost destroyed a merchant ship owned by Kuati interests was far less important than said ship being a Trade Federation vessel captained by a near-human. That the ownership of said vessel, while technically Kuati and from the First Ten at that, also belonged to a near-human was even worse in her opinion. She didn't actually say that, of course, but the dismissive way she treated Father's testimony and mine was telling... as was the disgust I could feel oozing out of her every pore. She sat there in her throne of Mandalorian Iron and Corusca gems, flowing dark blue robes over a short, plump body, and silly sky-blue Bishop's hat concealing prematurely greying hair, and looked down on us as if we were vermin.
"Honestly, captain, I can't take this report seriously," she said primly, waving a copy of the Doughnut's captain's log. "The honoured Jedi Order assured us the Nebula Front was destroyed two years ago. Seeking justice for your dead wife does you credit, but taking it too far might make one lose touch with reality."
"I did not -" Father spat back angrily but restrained himself from saying more, or strangling the bitch with his bare hands. "Madam Director, with all due respect, how do you explain the Nebula Front logo on the terrorists' armor?"
"Pirates, Captain, not terrorists." She sighed in fake exhaustion as if dealing with us was so very tiring. "As for an explanation, our labs found the logos had been spray-painted on at the same time as the attack, or an hour before at most, rather than being built into the armor. Given the other... irregularities, it is highly likely this was an organized attack from our competitors or similar malicious elements rather than either terrorists or pirates. There is no hint of connection between it an the extinct Nebula Front at all."
The stench of amusement mixed with a heady dose of deception, and a shade of satisfaction wafted off her like a dark cloud, but I did not need to sense her emotions to see the lie. Of course she would know the source of the armour could not be a terrorist movement or simple pirates; she had been given the secret order for producing armaments for the Grand Army only a year before. Project Icefang had to be underway in some secret shipyard already, and had already changed House Kuat's fortunes.
"But..."
"Enough, Captain!" the unfortunately competent Umbridge analogue interrupted him. "The Kuati government will reimburse you for all damages and the price of the captured corvette, plus the standard reward for defeating piratical elements. You are not of my House so I can't actually forbid you from pursuing this quixotic quest, but any further demands for help should be directed towards House Andrim, not Kuat. Good day to you."
We left then, Father still furious at the abrupt dismissal. We moved through the titanic ring-shaped space station orbiting the planet, a space metropolis built over many centuries to hold the entirety of Kuati industry so that the surface would remain pristine, a garden in perpetuity for our people to visit. The ring was actually six smaller rings locked in tandem via tractor beams, each one five miles wide, two miles thick, and forty-four thousand miles long. At two and half times the total volume of the Death Star, they were the greatest single construction in human galactic history and utterly awe-inspiring in their magnitude. Six thousand construction slips bulged out of the ginormous space station like mountains, each one capable of fitting ships up to twice the size of a Star Destroyer. Most of them were occupied by civilian construction all the time, serving the demands of galactic transportation across millions of planets. Only a few were reserved for military construction, but soon that would change.
A massive shadow fell on the entire area our hover-car was taking us through, as if a cloud had obscured the sun. As we were in space, the truth was far more awe-inspiring; a five mile long, mile-wide durasteel arrowhead flew over us, its slightly bulging, spindle-like shape shining white against the diamond-sharp darkness of space. The Mandator-II Star Dreadnought, a military ship half again as large as the Doughnut and more powerful than a hundred Star Destroyers sent a chill down my back. The previous class of dreadnoughts, only three ships in total, had been completed only a decade before. Even back on Earth, ship classes lasted longer than that, and in the Star Wars galaxies warships weren't updated for centuries in times of peace. Building something like this would have bankrupted House Kuat only a few years ago. It was a sign of the times, the moves in the shadows, the massive amounts of cash changing hands to fuel the coming war.
It was that very moment that the war became a reality for me, an inevitable future I had to prepare for...

This is the tale of a young female that was sick her entire life and when she finally dies her soul occupied the body of little merchant princes.

Lu Shu suddenly realized that Lu Xiaoyu's way of thinking was much simpler than his. He had always been considering what traps might be waiting for him, how powerful the opponent was, what techniques the opponent would use against them, and what exactly the opponent was thinking.
But Lu Xiaoyu had never thought of all this. She only had one simple thought. Li Xianyi might be in danger.
Lu Shu would definitely not be willing to selflessly offer himself as tribute. He had thought that even if there was a disaster, they still had Nie Ting. The strongest expert would be able to handle this, right?
Back then, Lu Shu did not know that Nie Ting could no longer attack. Thus, he was not very worried. Since they had the strongest expert, even if they lost, they could still send out the expert. Lu Shu had wanted to be a quiet spectator and earn distress points.
He did not know that Nie Ting could not attack. He had never thought that the Heavenly Network would lose people. After all, they had a Shen Cang Jing on their side. They would not have any pressure.
You Mingyu's blame made Lu Shu slightly helpless. The most important thing now was that he did not know that Nie Ting could no longer attack!
In the past, Lu Shu thought that the Heavenly Network was very stable. He did not feel any urgency to accept the position of Heavenly King. Even if ten thousand people infiltrated the borders, Nie Ting would be able to settle it by himself, right?
Of course, there were more people in reality, about 100 thousand. But Nie Ting would be able to settle it by himself, right?
Those who knew that Nie Ting could no longer attack would definitely panic. Why did Lu Shu not step up in such a crucial time? It would not be an overstatement to say that Lu Shu was the third strongest in the Heavenly Network. He could even be considered the second strongest, since he had a Class A Chaos.
But Lu Shu did not know. He was silent yesterday because people were still dying, even though the Heavenly Network could conquer the entire world.
This was the result of information that did not corroborate. Thus, Lu Shu had spent the entire day thinking. He had also been very silent.
But now, Lu Xiaoyu had simplified everything.
Lu Xiaoyu was a young girl. She was immature, and did not know much about the ways of the world. She remembered how kindly Li Xianyi had treated them. Now that he and the Golden Foundation were being targeted, they should help him.
If they hated someone, they would verbally abuse them. If they liked someone, they would not turn back. If they did not want to care about someone, they would ignore them. They did not think about what the other person could provide them. This was a child's world. It was much happier than the adult world.
"Lu Shu, are we going?" Lu Xiaoyu asked in a serious tone.
Lu Shu smiled. "You might be able to play with the soul of a Class A."
"Then I want the Bishop from the Department of Faith Theory. He tried to kill you last time, right?"
She did not seem to have considered whether they could defeat him. Thus, she did not even think about whether he would be willing.
That night, Lu Shu converted all the distress points for him and Lu Xiaoyu to level up. Lu Xiaoyu lit up the first star in the fourth Nebula, while Lu Shu lit up the third star. His Sparrow Shade grew to form 288 strands.
Lu Shu went to the Luo Shen Cultivation College in the morning to attend a meeting that lasted for more than one hour. The meeting was organized by the Dean. He wanted to share his thoughts. For example, although the students were ready to take action, the teachers had to remain calm.
Lu Shu did not think much about it. He took the notes and walked off with the veterans to prepare for his lessons.
Before the afternoon lessons, the Dean was still worried. He personally went to find Lu Shu. Before Zhong Yutang went to the Yuzhou Heavenly Network, he had told the Dean to keep an eye on Lu Shu.
The Dean deliberated his tone before saying, "Er… Lu Shu, please remember what I told you. Don't say the wrong thing during lessons…"
To be honest, the Dean was not worried about the other teachers. He was worried about Lu Shu.
Now that Zhong Yutang was busy with other things, he understood how Zhong Yutang felt. No wonder he was always pulling his hair…
Lu Shu cheerily laughed. "Okay. You don't have to worry about me. I'll just teach one more lesson before leaving."
When the Dean heard this, he was secretly happy. What happened? Did Lord Lu not want to be a teacher anymore? Great! This way, he would not have to worry about him. Suddenly, he felt that something was wrong. "Wait… where are you planning to go?"
"The Changbai Mountains!" Lu Shu then took his notes and went to class.
The Dean was dumbfounded. He looked at Lu Shu's back as he walked away. What…
They had always been worried that the campus would be in a mess. For example, one student might break the rules and secretly go to the Changbai Mountains. Not only were they not useful, they might even create more trouble.
After all, students would not be able to influence wars. Thus, it was of utmost importance that the students remained where they were.
They had spent the morning discussing how to prevent students from going to the Changbai Mountains. But even before any student sneaked off, one of their teachers went…?
As the Dean, he could not bear this responsibility. He hurriedly called Zhong Yutang. "Lu Shu is going to the Changbai Mountains!"
He did not expect Zhong Yutang to reply in such an excited tone. "Really? I'm going back to Luo City now!"
After that, the Dean heard Zhong Yutang's shout of joy over the phone. "Prepare a car for me. I have to go back to Luo City. Finally!"
The Dean bit his lips and put down the phone. It was over. The principal had gone mad.
When Lu Shu came to the training ground, ten thousand students from the Luo Shen Cultivation College were already sitting there. Some students from the other Cultivation Colleges had gathered to listen to Lord Lu's combat lesson.
The students from the other Cultivation Colleges had planned to go home, but they heard that Lord Lu was delivering a lesson. They requested to attend the lesson before going back.
Lu Shu's fame in the Heavenly Network had reached a new peak. He was well-known even in other Cultivation Colleges. People knew how strong the species research specialization was.
Suddenly, a very enthusiastic student suddenly asked, "Teacher Lu, what will you be covering today?"
Lu Shu thought about it and said. "Today is the last lesson. I will talk about what happened at the Collection of Gods, as well as a hero who loved bean sauce noodles."
The last lesson? The Collection of Gods? What was happening?
When the students heard this, they were dumbfounded. This was a buried past. It had been classified as one of the Heavenly Network's greatest secrets.
Very few people knew that Lu Shu had gone to the Collection of Gods. Almost no one knew where he had gone and what he had done in that period of time.
Lu Shu had never mentioned the Collection of Gods in his previous classes. On one hand, he could not talk about it. On the other hand, there was the portrait of the Ninth Heavenly King along the corridors.
Lu Shu felt that if he talked about that past, he would no longer be a Cultivation College student, nor an ordinary combat teacher.
He would be the Ninth Heavenly King of the Heavenly Network, a faux Class A who no one had met, but had killed many.

Magical energy has come to this world; Lu Shu could only stare as one powerhouse after another appear.

Looking at his own peculiar ability, he exhaled a breath of cold air.

"Of course, why wouldn't I?"
Many students were biting down on their sleeves and watched in rage at the man in front, joining any of those organizations would already skyrocket their fame, society's stand point, and wealth. It also designated their strengths and talents, which would be natural to the geniuses. All of the students that were present were just students working for Academy Credits to buy needed resources without any experiences outside. But the man in front of them, who just so happened to be younger than them already graduated with all minimum requirements, which takes the average of a year was finished in just six months.
Feeling that one was inferior to that of the younger generation would definitely be harsh for the faint of heart. But that mindset usually inhibits growth of development, so nobody would openly announce their pains. Its all the more as the younger generation was incredibly weak at the moment due to the wars.
The students all had pained faces and according to the teachers, they had them as well. But just as they thought that they were done, Khu Bei appeared, walking down the great hall towards the crowd.
The amount of reverence was the same as any other as they all dispersed after bowing towards the School Dean, denying someone that is an Peak tier Evolver was harsh to novices, as his mere presence could make one collapse in mental shock.
Bai Li cupped his hands and bowed.
"Oho, it seems you can take on my pressure." He chuckled a great hefy cough.
Many students would never the onsluaght from his murderous aura around him, as if a star that never dies out. But one could tell if it was increasing slowly. The Great Sun Body that he trained for two thousand years was paying its toll, his energy was dormant, if they didn't bind his power to the First Gate, his age potency would only amount for another decade. The fact that he was a Dean in the First Gate showed the Union had some responsibilities coming for their military officials who work on the field, he would be allowed the physique of a Peak tier Warrior, but with his great techniques, he should be able to battle any other except a few, he's not the first that came to the First Gate to prolong their deaths due to harmful cultivation techniques and Arts of Body.
"Thank you or your words of praise Master Khu."
Bai Li was also similar of that to of normal people, the natural reverence to greater powers, which comes as faith or fear. He loved those who worked hard for themselves and not those who abuse their powers, Khu Bei was naturally one of the top, as he was rurally known in the Golden Star Planet and resides there.
"Congratulations on your choices, I respect all wishes of our graduates and hope to see you making a mark in history."
"I will try."
It was a honest answer, but he didn't really want to be something that catches their eye far beyond.
"See you, you are always welcome to come back whenever, who knows, might even encourage the newer generations."
"If that time comes, I will definitely participate."
He smiled, Khu Bei left with that phrase which meant he was now free to do anything.
He decided to stay an extra day to say farewells, hang out with Wei Tao for a bit and start his journey.
However that choice would give him the opposite of what he wished for.

Both Bai Li and Wei Tao were all hanging out at the cafeteria. Bai Li had registered as a guest so it would only be valid until midnight. If he was spotted in the general vicinity of the compound, he would be arrested or be subdued by guards.
"To think you already have a girlfriend, you grow up so fast."
A tear was shed from Bai Li as he spoke to his friend. Wei Tao spoke back in a frenzied matter.
"Why does that matter, you already graduated while Im stuck here in the gutter."
He nudged him on the shoulder. Both shared their good laughs, activities, and ate out.
They were gonna walk off to the front entrance as it was already reaching the end of the day.
The night life in the academy was bustling as usual, but they all halted, a small limousine was parked right in front, the guards were very respectful as it occupied their positions. The amount of respect was peculiar.
"Did some powerhouse come inside or something?"
Wei Tao replied.
But little did they know this vehicle was for him.
Two men, one female and one male, came out wearing identical trenchcoat. Various materials were used in the crafting of the trenchcoat. It was dark blue in color and with its resilience, was definitely expensive. People usually wearing blue belonged to the Union, all the students revered them. But the most defined detail of their characters.
They spotted Bai Li from miles away and awaited for their arrival, their heightened senses were not to be trifled with.
"Bai Li, we are sent by the Bright Star League."
They took a badge with a white star. Which read in a rather old dialect of the language.
Dating back to the start of the Union Calendar, when translated carefully and with proper knowledge, read:
The Star which shines over many.
"We are here to escort you to our quarters."
Many people began rioting over their introduction and screamed as loudly as they can by their introduction. The most prestigious group in the Union that was a collection of geniuses of multiple generations. They were funded by all major corporations and even the Union, though they do not own it. All knew it as similar of that of a secret service with no affiliations.

The Galaxy is only a small drop amongst the vast universe with many undiscovered oddities that can not be described. Humanity has accomplished many achievements to further their understanding of the universe though miniscule. But what lays beyond those of our knowledge is just the frontier of all things. Follow the journey of a young man with a mystified past as he ventures into the frontier as many others had as well.

200 Spirit Stones = 1 Extra Chapter per Week
300 Spirit Stones = 2 Bonus Chapters
400 Spirit Stones = 3 Bonus Chapters
500 Spirit Stones = 1 Extra Chapter per Week

The 200 and 500 Spirit Stones are a one time thing. If we somehow surpass it, I don't know. Probably just a bonus chapter.

Ves got what he came for during his visit to the Sentinel Peacekeeper Association. The gossip, rumors and other nuggets of information he pumped from the mouths of the Peacekeepers at their branch on Cinach XII might not be the most reliable intel around, but collectively they painted a broad inside picture of the Nyxian Gap.
His perspective of the Nyxian Gap had deepened. He became a little bit more aware of the dynamic between Peacekeepers and Nyxians. The Nyxians themselves also fought against each other for supremacy, survival or greed.
The highly unusual anomalous effects within this vast, disturbing region of space led to the emergence of a unique society where fugitives and exiles found second lives as brutal pirates or merciless dark mercenaries.
As Ves and his followers entered a private courtyard in order to enjoy some lunch, they began to share their own thoughts.
"The Nyxian Gap is like a supercharged version of the frontier." Ves opined. "The resources there are richer, but the pirates there are far more ruthless."
Commander Cinnabar scratched his red beard. "The population of humans in our star sector is astounding when you think about it. Only about 3.5 percent of them are potentates, of which many of them become mech pilots. Of this group, only a miniscule proportion turn into bad apples."
"When you think in percentages, the proportion seems small. But when you start counting in absolute numbers, the figure is quite astonishing!" Ves summed up. "No one knows how many mech pilots roam the Nyxian Gap, but I've heard estimates ranging from a million to a hundred million mech pilots!"
A hundred million mech pilots! Though Ves personally thought this estimate was way too inflated, if the pirates could muster up even a fraction of that number, they could easily overrun the Sentinel Kingdom!
However, while analysts generally agree that the Nyxian Gap harbored a lot of scum, their sense of unity was non-existent. Pirate alliances existed, but the effective size of the Nyxian Gap was too large to exert effective control over large regions of space within the Gap.
In the Faris Star Region, both the Dragon Alliance and the Ravienne Alliance held sway over considerable portions of space. Navigating between their holdings was generally easy, as it didn't take more than a few months to go from one end to the other end of their territory.
Not so for the Nyxian Gap. Dozens or even hundreds of disparate pirate alliances existed in a region where it took decades, centuries or even millennia to travel from one end to the other end of the Gap! The lack of FTL travel really hampered any group's ability to assert effective dominance over the entire region!
Surprisingly, Gavin mentioned an upside. "The Nyxian Gap is a magnet for trouble, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. Don't you realize how few wars the Sentinel Kingdom has fought against other states? Sentinel and the other states in the vicinity of the Nyxian Gap are more interested in defending against pirates and exploiting the boundless resources of the Nyxian Gap than waging destructive wars against each other!"
"The states know if they are pulled in any war, then the Nyxian pirates will all come out of the woodwork to take advantage of the chaos." Nitaa remarked. "They'll be the only winners of war by the time the fighting ends."
All of this sounded probable to Ves. He never heard of any instances like the Bright-Vesia Wars occurring in this corner of the star sector. Every state already had their hands full trying to defend their territories against the ravages of pirates.
No matter how many pirates they exterminated, there was always more!
This reflected the ubiquity of bad apples within the mech piloting community. Potentates did not magically transform into virtuous saints when they trained to become mech pilots. While the mech academies did their best to instill notions of honor, duty, sacrifice, justice and other virtues, people were just too diverse!
Some mech pilots were just too rotten to redeem or turn a new leaf. When these dangerous and unstable individuals entered the cockpits of their mechs, their capacity for murder, destruction and other violent acts went through the roof!
When these rotten mech pilots finally showed their true nature, they were no longer welcome in civilized space. They needed to find somewhere to escape pursuit!
Places like the frontier and the Nyxian Gap therefore ended up as the garbage dumps of the star sector. They accumulated all of the human trash that the Komodo Star Sector generated and digested them into the next generation of pirates and scum!
"Hey, it's not just the mech pilots who have turned pirate, you know!" Gavin complained. "An even greater number of norms like us are driven to desperation as well."
"Even mech designers aren't exempt." Ves nodded in agreement.
A lot of people who entered the Nyxian Gap didn't have what it took to survive or retain their freedom. Many of them died, and most who survived ended up as slaves or lackeys to powerful pirate gangs.
Only the strongest and most ruthless among these fugitives ended up on top and gained a measure of power over their lives. The Nyxian Gap constantly brought out the worst in people because they had no other choice if they wanted to survive!
The thought of his father trying to stay alive while avoiding the Five Scrolls Compact weighed heavily on Ves. He had to grow stronger before he could save his father!
However, even as a Journeyman, his ability to influence his father's fate was still non-existent!
At this rate, by the time Ves finally advanced to Master, his father might reach the end of his lifespan!
He vigorously shook his head. He couldn't let himself fall into despair! Perhaps he might be able to offer aid sooner. Ves would just have to keep his eye on the Nyxian Gap and wait for opportunities to help his father or hinder the Five Scrolls Compact.
"Meow."
Lucky just finished crunching the minerals served in a small bowl placed on the table, but he was already begging for more!
"You already ate enough for the day!" Ves admonished his cat.
"Meow!"
"If you want to earn more, then be on the lookout for anything interesting!"
Once everyone finished their lunch, Ves resumed trawling the trading halls and other venues for gossip and something interesting to buy.
Along the way, Ves also kept a lookout on imitations of his work. Yet aside from the copycat Aurora Titan wreck he encountered earlier, he hadn't found any other ripoffs.
He didn't know whether to feel relieved or insulted.
"The LMC hasn't expanded its reach to this part of the star sector yet." Gavin noted. "Give it time. I'm sure more imitation mechs will pop up in the markets here."
Ves sighed. "Yeah, you're right. There's no way we can beat the plague of copycats."
"The best the LMC can do is to expand their presence in the Sentinel Kingdom and elsewhere. When there are legitimate copies for sale here, many mech buyers will opt to buy from us. All of our mechs are certified by the MTA, after all. Who knows what kind of corners and backdoors the illicit producers have sneaked into their copycat mechs."
Ves snorted. "According to what I've heard, the black markets have developed their own solution for that, though their reliability still isn't as good as the MTA."
Black market organizations knew that they had to provide some measure of assurance to their buyers. They employed various mech designers as mech appraisers who could inspect and judge the true state of a mech for a fee.
While the reliability of these mech appraisers were always in question, they were better than nothing!
As Ves continued to hang around in the Peacekeeper halls, he began to attract an increasing amount of attention. His overcoat as well as his recent accomplishment caused various Peacekeepers to observe him closely. He even received a couple of commission requests from various outfits!
He refused them all on the spot. Ves did not intend to entangle himself any further within the Sentinel Kingdom.
None of the commissions promised anything interesting as a reward either. Ves had better things to do than to spend months to design a custom mech for an underwhelming sum of money.
Though Ves felt a little bit flattered at being approached, none of the offers matched the rewards given by Lady Miralix. None of the Peacekeepers managed to match her sincerity!
As Ves kept browsing the goods for sale, he continually kept his senses, hoping to catch another P-stone in the wild. According to Lady Miralix, his second P-stone originally came from the Nyxian Gap, so Ves held some hope that he'd be able to find another sample among the goods that the Peacekeepers managed to gather!
Sadly for him, Ves failed to uncover any new P-stones that he could add to his collection.
However, he did find one interesting exotic that attracted his attention.
When he idly brushed his spiritual senses over the rock, his spiritual energy suddenly seethed in excitement!
"Huh!?"
Even Lucky, who clung to his shoulder, suddenly jerked his head at the mineral.
"Meow!"
"I know! Stay put!"
Wary of being ripped off, Ves did not immediately enter the store that sold the exotic that reacted to his spirituality. Instead, he lingered around the section of the trading hall and pretended to browse the other wares for sale while he cautiously inspected the rock with his spiritual senses.
From his brief glimpse, he saw that the exotic looked like a gnarly bright yellow rock with strange red dots spread throughout its surface. It resembled a squat, solid mango infested by parasites.
It was these strange red dots that caused the spiritual energy he extended to react. As Ves extended a more solid spiritual tentacle towards the strange exotic, he closely observed the interaction that took place.
As soon as his spiritual tentacle pressed against one of the red dots, a charged sensation ran through his Spirituality! It was as if he encountered a high-quality source of spiritual energy!
"This!"
His eyes widened as he kept inspecting the exotic with his spiritual senses. He continually revised his evaluation of the strange exotic as his Spirituality continued to experience charged sensations from the strange rock.
"What is happening?"
Upon closer inspection, he realized that his spiritual energy actually started to change upon interacting with the red-spotted yellow rock! Ves immediately drew back his spiritual senses for fear of contamination!
Yet despite this threat, his fascination for the exotic did not decrease! Exotics that reacted to spirituality were far too rare, so even this suspicious rock merited his attention!
Ves continued to act nonchalant for ten more minutes before he finally gave in to his temptation. He casually entered the store that sold the yellow rock and a variety of other exotics and slowly came over to his intended destination.
"I haven't seen anything like this before. Where did you get it?" He asked the vendor.
The man on the other side of the counter hesitated for a moment.
Right now, Ves had dialed up the strength of the aura of his overcoat, thereby exerting a lot of pressure to the salesman!
The staffer did not have the courage to pull off any shenanigans. He answered the question without any embellishments.
"This sample is part of some spoils brought back more than a year ago by one of our Peacekeeper outfits. Ostensibly, the rock came from the center of the Nyxian Gap. While we have no way of verifying this claim, we've never found anything like it, so the chances are low that it can be found in the periphery of the Nyxian Gap!"
That discouraged Ves a bit. The second type of exotic he found that reacted to spirituality turned out to be another unicorn-like exotic that was extremely difficult to find! It was impossible for the Peacekeepers to travel all the way to the center of the Nyxian Gap!

After obtaining the Mech Designer System, Ves aims to create the greatest mechs in the galaxy!

In the far future, the galactic human civilization has entered the Age of Mechs. The countless lesser powers of humanity have come to adopt mechs as their main weapons of war!

Only a small number of humans have the right genetic aptitude to pilot these destructive war machines the size of buildings.

Born to a military family in the edge of the galaxy, Ves Larkinson is one of the many people who lacks the talent to earn glory in battle. Instead, he became a mech designer. Helped by his missing father, Ves has obtained the mysterious Mech Designer System that can help him rise in the galaxy and beyond!

His mechs based on the principles of life quickly allows him to rise to prominence. Powerful and highly compatible with mech pilots, his products have the potential to take the market by storm! However, success does not come easily, and countless challenges bar his ability to sell his mechs to a market eager for innovation!

With the sins of the human race in the galactic arena slowly catching up, Ves must navigate the perils of the ultra-competitive mech market and maintain control over his growing organization of misfits.

This is the golden age of mechs. This is the golden age of humanity. The question is, will it last?

"Any challenge can be overcome as long as I design the right mech!"

Ida Galaxy

The planet was a world of abundant plant and animal life. Thick forests, fertile valleys of dark and rich soil, and rivers teaming with aquatic life graced the lone supercontinent. Deep oceans also full of life down to their staggering depths surrounded the single large land mass. Twenty miles inland from this ocean, scattered in neighboring valleys, a collection of two hundred person camps sat.

Resembling the mountain towns that dotted the Pacific Northwest of the United States during the 1800's, each of these settlements was a collection of orderly aligned wooden cabins. Each cabin came with its own small garden for the tenants use to provide fruit and vegetables. To supplement these, small game and fishing provided everything the Jaffa might need. Directly outside of each camps perimeter, small orchards of apple, pear, and orange trees sat.

Upon arrival on this world, Bra'tac had gathered the surviving Traditionalist Jaffa so that he might address them at one time. Before he could begin his address, the rescued Traditionalist Jaffa began to demand their freedom. Their only wish was to continue their war against the Progressive sect of their race, along with their now lost war with the Tauri. Bra'tac had explained that on this world the Traditionalist were free, but that freedom came at a price.

That price was the end of their fight against the races of the Milky Way. Simply put, their wars were over. The fact that they were in a galaxy foreign to them was made clear. When demands were made for their return to regions of space familiar to them, Bra'tac made clear the point that their wishes would not be granted. Were he to return them to the Milky Way, and if they resumed their war as they clearly wised to do, he explained that no one would intercede on their behalf. To put a finer point on it, the Tauri would bring about the death of all Traditionalist Jaffa and their supporters. This last point was one the Jaffa found themselves having no trouble in believing.

With their movement a failure, a new way was needed for these surviving members of the Traditionalist movement. Bra'tac, ascended Ancient's, and members of the Furling would guide them towards a new path and a new way of living. Putting aside their past as warriors to false gods, the Traditionalist's would instead be steered towards a future built upon a foundation of peace. Turning their swords into plowshares, the relocated Jaffa would in time focus on hunting, agriculture, and the pursuit of purity of mind.

Mimicking the ascension cloister once stumbled upon in the Pegasus galaxy, guidance towards the clarity of mind that someday might lead towards ascension would be made available. The hours of meditation each would put forth every day in coming years could also rid these fighting men of the malice each held so close in his or her heart. While it was not a perfect plan, it was a plan.

Andromeda Galaxy

Two hundred and seventy light years from the planet where Videum made its new home, sat the most destructive force in the universe. This black hole had formed millions of years before. Tracing its origins to a collapsed O class blue giant, this black hole had forever altered space around it. Upon formation, the black hole had slowly torn apart a nearby star and its surrounding planets. Several million years later, a second solar system met its end when the gravitational pull of the black hole had seized hold of the celestial bodies.

Whereas this singularity had once brought destruction to the space surrounding it, a new purpose would now be served. Taking shape nearby was a super gate. The ninety individual modules that made up the gate, once networked together, would draw power from the singularity. A second gate was also nearing completion in the Pegasus galaxy. Making use of the gate once complete would allow for fleet support of Videum from Tauri assets in both Pegasus and the Milky Way. Asgard fleet units would also be able to make use of the gate. The growing network of super gates would do for vessels what the stargate networks had done for the many races that made use of them.

Joining the already complete and functional network of three super gates, these would bring the total to five. This would allow both the Tauri and Asgard to explore corners of the universe that were previously too distant to merit exploratory missions. In coming years, the network would be further expanded to other galaxies within the local cluster. While Pegasus Dwarf was home to Atlantis and its own super gate nearing completion, Pegasus Spherical, Canis Major, Sagittarius Dwarf, Ursa Minor, and Draco Dwarf would one day have examples of their own. Each of these galaxies would one day also have dedicated city ships and exploratory missions of their own.

Lacking planetary gate networks, these galaxies would someday soon have them. A planned second construction phase of seed ships would ensure that. Humankind and their Asgard allies would soon expand their horizons by several orders of magnitude.

hi all,

thank you for reading my book.

SG1, Atlantis, and SGU all work towards a brighter future. Past conflicts heat up more than imagined, and a long wondered question is answered. Ancients, Tauri, Asgard, Furling, Nox, and a few others thrown in. This ties up the loose ends the writers left us with.

The closer one got to the orbit docks, the more they would sense the ambitions of human beings to change the world and conquer the universe. Two orbit docks that fully surrounded the planet had been built, and the third 'Uranian Ring' was under construction. The super dock and space metropolis that looked like a long bow had only just started being built, but it left the deepest impression on Li Yao because only when he saw the starships and workers who were busy working around the new orbit dock was he finally convinced that the two splendid celestial bodies that he had previously seen, which were emitting their brilliance even in the scale of the grand universe, had in fact been made by the human beings who appeared to be ants if not dust!
As the carrier approached the First Uranian Ring, they turned off their own power and allowed the rune arrays of the First Uranian Ring to lock onto and capture the vehicle, drifting toward the port.
More and more starships appeared nearby until it was even possible to see the emblems and pennants that were painted on each of the starships. Compared to the super-enormous carriers, engineering starships, and main-force warships of the federal fleets, their own carrier was rather slender. Often, when several gigantic starships leaned toward them like mountains, they could not help feeling that they would be crushed. But with the guidance and navigation of the spiritual and magnetic field, the other starships simply flew past them unhurriedly, like a bunch of lazy whales.
"Wow!"
Many people who had spent their entire lives on Firefly, born, raised, and aged in the sea of stars alone, were deeply awed by the glamorous exhaust flames when at least a thousand starships crowded together. They were exclaiming at the splendid view.
During the incessant gasps and exclamations, they passed the Second Mother Port of the Burning Prairie Fleet, which was also the biggest starship production base in the 'four new worlds'.
The solemn and inviolable starships had entirely renewed plate armor, which was polished to be even smoother than a mirror. There was no sign that they had ever been scratched by the cosmic dust at all.
Illuminated by the sun and the exhaust flames of the thousand starships nearby, they were reflecting deep, dark golden colors, like the ridge of a continuous mountain that boasted infinite strength.
On the orbit dock behind them, countless iron tentacles extended all the way down into the atmosphere of the Uranian Ring Planet until they stabbed deeply into the mother lodes below the surface of the planet, transporting the metal and crystal resources from there directly into the docks.
In space, a lot of starry brilliance was flying toward the Uranian Rings, too, as if they were shooting stars that had been conquered, manipulated, and made use of by human beings. They were all man-made asteroids that used to be part of the resource planets. Before, the collection and purification work used to be conducted on the resource planets. But later, a more convenient approach was invented, which was to blow up part of the resource planets, install engine units on them, and push them toward the Uranian Rings. The collection, purification, manufacture, and assembly procedures were concentrated in the same place, and the efficiency to produce starships was greatly improved.
If the probe distance of the crystal cameras were increased, they would be able to distinguish some details of the Uranian Rings on the fuzzy picture. At such a distance, the Uranian Rings' sense of smoothness, elegance, and unity would completely vanish. They were an iron forest from which countless branches were stretching out. Just like Firefly, which was under major maintenance, 'twigs' made of super alloys stood erect on the surface, and new twigs bifurcated at the end of the previous twigs. Growing just like that, the Uranian Rings occupied every tiny bit of space other than the sailing routes. At the end of every 'narrowest' twig was a starship that was being maintained or produced.
From that point of view, the 'twigs' were sort of like umbilical cords. The Uranian Rings, beasts of the planetary level, collected and absorbed metals, minerals, crystals, and everything from the Uranian Ring Planet and the hundreds of resource planets nearby without pause. They chewed and digested the resources and sent the nutrition into the starships incessantly through the 'umbilical cords', breeding the iron beasts one after another that were about to raise surging tides in the universe.
Such a picture was not 'natural' at all, but it was quite 'human'.
The carrier slowly connected to one of the 'twigs' extending out of the Uranian Rings. It was the first stop of the delegation, the Uranian Ring War Museum.
Wars were the most extreme outburst of potential of a civilization.
Through wars, it was possible to learn the true face of a civilization within the shortest amount of time.
Therefore, the representatives from the center of the cosmos had chosen this place for their first stop, where they were greeted by a Communication Committee made of people from the federal government, military, Cultivation sects, and academic fields.
Because of the subtle if not awkward relationship between the Star Ocean Republic and the Star Glory Federation, and since the federation was fully focused on the preparation for the war to come, both parties had agreed that they would discuss more about practical questions during the communication and negotiation and put aside controversial issues such as legitimacy and rightfulness.
Therefore, the delegation was not of a high level on the surface, and it was purely under the banner of Election Observation Delegation. Correspondingly, only a limited number of people from the government and the military were in the Communication Committee that the federation had sent out. At least, there were not many of them in the beginning.
Li Yao did not find any acquaintances in the Communication Committee, which spared him from the dilemma that he would have faced if an old friend had been there.
He observed the people of the new federation who were standing opposite him with great interest. He discovered that, probably because of the transition from a planetary civilization completely into a universal civilization, the federal citizens of the new generation were slimmer and taller, as if they could swim in the sea of stars to their heart's content after one jump.
Regardless of their sex and gender, they were equally energetic and in high spirits. The confidence in their demeanor was so obvious that it was almost sharp.
Judging from their clothing, other than the officers who were more difficult to tell because of their standard military uniform, the civil representatives were from various Sectors, including the Nether World Sector. Some of them also possessed some demon features, such as cute rabbit ears, green eyes resembling a cat, and so on. Other people did not seem to be affected at all, either.
It appeared that the New Federation had carried out the integration policy determinedly in the past hundred years.
With their guidance, Li Yao visited the Uranian Ring War Museum. Through the remnants from the war, the war logs of the soldiers, and even simulation games in the Grand Illusionary Land, he experienced the war of thirty years prior.
He had studied many details of the war in the Uranian Ring Sector carefully on Firefly. However, he was quite fond of the New Federation's narration of the war, which was calm, objective, and slightly conservative. There was not much description of the ugliness and evilness of the Heavenly Light. Everything was simply recorded dutifully like a sketch. In one of the procedures, quite a few solutions that could have completely avoided the war were even simulated in the Grand Illusionary Land.
Only the real victors could be so calm and conservative. It was even confident enough to reflect on the war.
After seeing all the scenes in the war museum, Li Yao was finally convinced that the federation had completely integrated and assimilated the Uranian Ring Sector. This world had become an indispensable part of the Star Glory Federation now.
Then, at the exit of the museum, he saw a statue.
The statue was not a depiction of the merry and lighthearted victors but a sad, lonely young woman who was holding the hands of a little girl in ragged, dirty clothes. The two of them were raising their heads and looking ahead in silence.
What they were looking at was an incessantly rolling list of names that recorded all the victims who had been killed in the Uranian Ring War.
In such a way, the woman and the girl in the statue seemed to be searching for the names of their family wholeheartedly. Their uneasy and complicated feelings could not have been more obvious.
The name list was divided into three columns in three different colors, which recorded all the members of the Heavenly Light, the Earthly Fiend, and the federation that had died in the war.
The detail made Li Yao stop in front of the statue and reflect for a long time.
The interpreter who was accompanying him, seeing that he was apparently interested in the statue, said, "The sorrowful woman in the statue is Ding Lingdang, who is regarded by the people of the Uranian Ring Sector as their 'liberator'."
"Ha?"
"Once the Uranian Ring War was over, the Earthly Fiend that were liberated wanted to build a tall and magnificent statue for Ding Lingdang, but she insisted against it and only agreed reluctantly after much persuasion, on the condition that the shape of the statue be decided by herself. In the end, she did not choose an awesome and dominant appearance but decided to build such a tiny, inconspicuous statue without highlighting herself. She even refused to carve her name on the statue. Although the statue has always been placed at the exit of the war museum, few people can recognize that it is the 'God of War' of the federation if they are not informed."
Li Yao stared at the woman who had softness written all over her eyes. He then recalled when they were still in the Grand Desolate War Institution years ago, Ding Lingdang had suffered a meltdown when she was drunk, and she had clung to him, bursting into tears like a lonely, helpless girl. He thought and thought…
"The girl next to her is her daughter," the interpreter added.
"Huh?"
"Her daughter that she fostered during the Uranian Ring War. The girl's parents were Ding Lingdang's comrades when she initiated the uprising in the underground tunnels, but they unfortunately passed away in the war."
"Anything else? Can you please say everything at once?"
"I'm done. Are you uncomfortably, Representative Lin?"
The tour in the Uranian Ring War Museum was over. Next, the high-level officers in the delegation were about to discuss the details about the joint headquarters with the leadership of the federal army from the General Staff.
Li Yao did not know the first thing about the great battles of thousands of legions. Therefore, he decided not to waste his time. Meng Chixin, Han Baling, Qi Changsheng, and 'Emperor Phoenix' Zhu Zongyou, on the other hand, were quite interested in the arts of war.
Through Cui Lingfeng, Li Yao had reserved several places for them in the group of high-level officers. They would essentially be observing the establishment of the joint headquarters on behalf of the Speaker.
As for Li Yao himself, he had more important fields that he could not wait to learn about.

“Even if this universe is truly nothing more than a brutal, bloody, shadowy forest, we Cultivators will burn all that we have just to give off a single weak flickering spark in the darkness!
“No matter how weak each spark is, how short-lived, how small… As long as the sparks flow unabated, then one day one of those sparks will light some tinder, and that tinder shall light some fallen branches, and those branches shall set ablaze each and every last tree of the forest!
“In the end, even the smallest sparks will eventually set the shadowy forest ablaze and illuminate the whole world!”
