After saving the changes the screen suddenly zooms in, in his face, suddenly changes could be seen, although mealy negligible there's actually some changes, the skin in his face looks to be a little smoother than before and a pimple vanishes in his 3d model, and a few changes, but still pretty much negligible. 

"Hmm I see, are they using real time editing 3d model editing tool?"Jeon il said. 

"Also the app recognize when I'm being a nice guy, the app must have been reading his messages."Jeon il thought that such cheap tricks could not fool him. 

He sighs then turn off his phone

He looks in the reflection of his face in the phone.

Suddenly running into the nearest mirror. 

"WHAT!"Jeon il look in a mirror, he turns on his phone again, quickly opening the app, look at his 3d model face. At that moment he gasps and swallowed a mouthful of saliva. He looks in a mirror again, He looks exactly the same as his 3d model, well of course but, what he means is the minuscule changes before have transpired also in the real version of himself. 

Jeon il then looks around, grabbing the nearest thing he could found, he saw the book <The Diary of a Simpy kid> and quickly grab it. 

"How do I put this in the storage??"Jeon il could not help but raise his voice a little.

Jeon il doesn't care anymore if it was using voice recognition as to how the app can hear him and quickly said yes. 

"Yes." Suddenly the book in his hands disappears.

After my failures in astral travel, I decided to go back to the basics. I needed to go back to the basics. I needed to learn how to meditate. Something which I have never done before in my life. I've always looked down on meditation. I saw it as something only monks do in the mounts and strange people who worship crystals and do yoga. Now here I was turning to meditation. I had to swallow my pride and just do it.

I found it extremely difficult at the start. Everything was itchy. The sounds were overwhelmingly bothersome and my thoughts just. Would. Not. SHUT. UP! This just wasn't working for me. It was the first time that I couldn't teach myself just simply my reading and trying. I turned to an app called headspace for help. The app allowed you to stream guided meditation soundtracks. The only issue was that the app seemed very buggy and the download speed wasn't very fast. It didn't help that it also didn't tell you the download progress.

After getting frustrated with the app I went hunting on the internet and managed to get my hands on guided meditation soundtracks that were made by the guy from headspace back when he was just starting out in the cyber world of guided meditation. This was better. The audio quality was good and I could save it on my phone and listen to it whenever I wanted. Now that I had a teacher I started doing 5 min sessions in the morning before I start my day and in the evening before I went to bed. The guided meditation was easy to follow and was exactly what I needed.

But just focusing on meditation wasn't quite enough for me. I need to also practice what I had read. I started with "The Psychonaut Field Manual", more specifically the part on gnosis. It had an exercise where it taught the reader to enter gnosis. The long and short of it was that you needed to stare into a candle for a given period of time. (I don't want to spoil too much of the book). So overachieving me decided to go big on my first go. I, as usual, waited until my family was asleep to start my exercise. I used my desk chair to put the candle on. I sat on the ground, arm length away and started. I forced myself to stare into that sucker for about forty minutes. To make it even worst I also held my blinking back. Let's just say it was like going on a psychedelic trip. I started seeing wavy lines that looked like sin graphs and the colors of the candle moved between blue and yellow. At least that night I had a good sleep.

I redid the exercise a few times, but I went softer on myself each time. Eventually, I decided that having a random candle burning in my room in the middle of the night was just too great of a risk, so I decided to scrap the idea and move on to the next exercise. At least now I had a basis that I could start building on. I had the ability to meditate, but not very well just yet and I had good concentration. But what to try next?

Opening the screen, Ye Qing closed the introduction and a background resembling an industrial workshop popped up.

Finished reading all the introduction, Ye Qing pressed yes without hesitation. Having experienced the binding, he has already changed his view of things. He now faced this app with br.i.m.m.i.n.g expectations.

They appeared to be like humans, but their arms are super thick. They also have two giant tusks jutting out of their mouths, a chest full of thick hair and no hair what so ever.

"W ~ T ~ F!" Ye Qing is scared s.h.i.tless as he immediately ran for his life

Having burst all the way into the manufacturing workshop, Ye Qing found a crowbar and tightly clenched it in his hands. Just as he was contemplating whether or not to call 110 (chinese 911), he suddenly remembered that the two monsters in the office were really similar to the portrait from the two cards.

Are they really ...

As Ye Qing's heart is racing, he finally gathered up the courage to go up the stairs again.

When he arrived on the second floor, he took a quick peek at the hallway. No monsters. Again slowly approaching his office, Ye Qing is already able to hear the heavy breathing coming out of his office.

Quickly opening the app, he opened the two photos, When the display showed them entering [Resting] phase, Ye Qing had a quick peek into his office.

"So it's like this!" Ye Qing sprinted into the manufacturing workshop, holding onto that crowbar, he summoned the two monsters again.

The smoke appeared again. Two transformer like monsters stood in front of Ye Qing motionless. It's as if they are waiting for Ye Qing to give out orders.

Finally examining the beasts, the two's tall and st.u.r.dy builds, gave Ye Qing too much of a feeling of inferiority.

They are over 195 cm tall and they possess arms that are as thicker than Ye Qing's waist. Ye Qing is really suspecting that a punch from them, will knock the living daylights out of any world cla.s.s boxers.

"Squat." Ye Qing commanded exceedingly.

Without any addition nonsense, the two monsters, with excellent discipline, squatted on the ground

"Hit each other."

"Dong ~ Dong ~" Two cannon like sounds exploded as the workers doubtingly looked at each other, as they each ate a punch.

After a chain of hits, Ye Qing's colder than liquid nitrogen heart, instantly felt hotter than lava.

I can control these two!

But what to do with them?

The introduction said, these two can precisely use all kinds of machines. They also gave an increase of 5% to precision and speed.

There wasn't much he could use in the workshop right now. Just a bunch of machine beds and processing tools.

"You two, lift up that bed on top of the mill for me will ya?" Having skimmed the two's introductions again, Ye Qing gave the two a test.

"En!" The two monsters suddenly relied with some very poor mandarin using their low and thick voice. This had Ye Qing completely stunned for a whole entire day.

These two can speak?

Not giving Ye Qing any time for questions, the two workers, while stretching, walked towards the broken CNC mill.

Seeing the fallen machine bed on the workbench, the two workers one at each end, flexed their thicker than Ye Qing's waist arms and easily lifted up that over 500 lb machine bed. Just like that.

Ye Qing is flabbergasted. Something over 500 lbs is this easy to lift?

This power, it would be too unfortunate if not used for smashing. (1)

"Move it over there...:"

The two workers obediently followed his orders. This kind of no complaint work att.i.tude nearly made Ye Qing burst into tears.

Who knew how the previous workers were hired. Complaints while working. Complaints about food quality. Complaints while sleeping. Complaints everywhere!

Towards this, Ye Qing and Ye Jiangning can't even say anything. If they reply then they'll just quit, saying stuff like I don't feel like working today and stuff. Seriously annoying.

Now, with these two super strong, and have self buffed processing precision and speed +5%, hulk workers. Working them is just a bliss.

He could've been able to create anything he wants, but due to the broken CNC mill, only small scale parts can be made.

The machine bed has a bunch of small parts that require the use of the multi-function machines. Ye Qing brought out these parts' blueprint from his office, and handed them over to Hulk One and Hulk Two.

There is only two multi-function machines in the workshop. Hulk One and Hulk Two operated one each.

They really are amazingly precise with any machine. Having gotten their hands on the blueprints, they work just like a clock. Directly picking up the flame cutters to cut out the parts needed and securing them onto the machine bed.

*Ka Cha ~ Ka Cha*, normal workers need to recalibrate the parts non-stop with dials, but the two never measure a second time.

He doesn't know if it's an illusion, but Ye Qing felt the normally slow as all heck cutting and a.s.sembling speed of the machine bed, suddenly sped up a whole lot.

It probably isn't an illusion. Because the factory comes with an amazing buff. +1% manufacturing speed.

Hulk One and Hulk Two also have their own +5% processing speed.

Time means efficiency. Increased efficiency means a savings in power costs and time. This is a really effective compet.i.tive strength.

The future is bright.

To prevent others from entering, Ye Qing went and locked the outside gates. Then he went back to his office and opened the CNC mill for sale post.

Ye Qing, who is in dire needs of the money, refreshed it non-stop to see if there is anyone interested.

Having waited a couple of minutes with no reply, Ye Qing turned his attention to figuring out everything about the app.

The app has a mini factory. Under careful inspection, he found similarities with Clear Sky Mechanical Saw Factory.

Towards this, Ye Qing is calm and like water.

The settings for the app are also pretty interesting. Recruiting monsters or buying tools require gold. Yet gold can only be earned by the monsters. For example, if Hulk One and Hulk Two built a machine in the workshop.

Ye Qing can sell the created tool for 10,000 yuan. Ye Qing can then either decide to pocket that 10,000 yuan or exchange it for gold.

100 yuan equals 1 gold. And a Hulk worker costs 100 gold to hire.

Currently the factory is Level 1, so it can only hire Hulk Workers. However when it levels up, then there will be more kinds of monsters up for hire.

The system gifted 200 gold. Ye Qing, currently doesn't plan to spend it all on two more workers.

"Oh right ~" Ye Qing remembered that apart from the two gifted workers, he was also gifted a tool lottery draw chance.

Opening up the tool shopping center column without any delay, a roulette popped up.

The roulette is separated into 56 different items. The majority of them are small stuff like pincers, wrenches, hand drills, hammer drills, and cutting tools.

Stuff like laser cutting machine, automatic welding machine, rocker drilling rig and other large scale processing tools only took up 10 spots on the roulette.

Perhaps his headache after the super mode, affected him much more than he realized. He shook his head and sighed. 

He needed space to work with.

Deciding to explore, he came across a door that lead to a staircase that lead to an empty roof. Yes, lots of things are leading into things these days.

This gave Jaune two opportunities. First, clear his head from the after-funk of the super mode and secondly explore the functions of the Empyrean App.

Jaune couldn't simply just ignore this weirdly pompous application on his scroll any longer. He had been having suspicions about its functions and wasn't willing to just let it collect dust.

Because if....

If it was real...

Well, lets just say that things were about to get a whole lot more interesting.

Switching on his scroll, he clicked on the application. Its Icon was blue with several black glowing stars on it, as if signifying a different coloured night sky.

Immediately, he was greeted to a screen pop up.

Jaune couldn't help but to think that there truly was something special about this application. It was almost as if it could hear his thoughts.

Sentience? Perhaps an Artificial Intelligence?

Jaune felt a daunting curiosity engulf him. He had never been exposed to any sort of situation like this before therefore he couldn't help but want to explore the functions.

Jaune's finger hovered over the prompt, hesitating in his decision. He felt, instinctively, that his perception of the world would change in accordance to his action.

Once you are capable of harnessing the Empyrean Force in its full might, you will achieve transcendence and be called an Empyrean among all beings.

"Supernatural statistics... my Aura stat is 40 but my Psychic Force and Mana are Zero. Psychic Force meaning psychic energy? Like Telekinesis and Telepathy?" Jaune combed his hand through his hair, wondering what Mana was as well.

"Those stats are Zero so... ill try to figure them out later, but why is my Aura so high? Is that natural among... wait, no. Pyrrha said that I have vast Aura reserves, most likely hinting that hers probably aren't as large as mine." Jaune guessed, scrolling through his stat page.

"50 plus?! Thats... very close to my number.... which means that I'm a rare oddity. Hey Empyrean App, do you have a feature to scan other people's aura or something?"

The thought faded away from his mind as he clicked on the Skills Icon. Three skills greeted his eyes.

"Forget it. Its most likely that my body will either get used to the headaches or it will fade away as the skill levels up." Jaune nodded before looking at his other skills.

The title menu was also pretty simple. As Jaune accrued more titles, he would gain bonuses in certain actions. Most titles were passive although some included special skills.

It would surely help in the future when he was faced against insurmountable odds. But that was all in the future. Now, Jaune had to focus.

"Well shit. And here I thought the perks were broken." His eyebrows raised as he read the first thing that popped up.

"Okay... this... has to be fake. There is no way this is real. I call bullshit." Jaune sighed and put away his scroll.

Jaune could maybe potentially believe that perhaps there was a chance to gain an undying body as he had discovered from repeated explanations by Pyrrha that Aura, when used right could enhance a person's physical capabilities.

It was only temporary though, or at least it should be. Aura was a source of energy. And when used up, it fills back up but at the same time... it was... limited...

An epiphany hit him.

"Oh. My. God. I have an Aura stat. I... can... increase it..." Jaune muttered, his mind in a slight daze. "If-if the app can increase my aura to a point where it regenerates faster than it depletes... I'll have infinite energy."

Jaune could only stare at the distant sunset from the rooftop.

Damn it, he needed more proof!

Jaune Arc's scroll pings one day while he was playing a game on it. A new app had shown up from nowhere.

At first Jaune believed that his scroll had been hacked but soon he realized that the App, the Empyrean App was far more than it seemed at face value.

Sunday - 7 AM - Felix's Home
Isabel's perspective.

Opening her eyes, instead of feeling groggy and lazy when just waking up, she felt focused and energized for the day to come.

Isabel goes into the bathroom and does her business. Walking out, she can hear some music being played downstairs. Wondering who can be up so early, she decides to go check. Quietly not to wake anyone else, she teaches the workout room.

Opening the door slightly, Isabel looks inside and finds Felix inside. He is wearing a slightly sweaty t-shirt. His black shoulder-length hair is tied on the back of his head with a few strands loose in his face. 

She simply starts to stare at him following his every move as he shadow boxes. He begins to do short jabs, ducking down to dodge a ghost punch. Felix then grabs onto the arm and does an over shoulder throw, throwing his fake opponents to the ground, and punches the mat pretty hard where the head should be. The very next moment he lifts his head and looks straight at my eyes with his amazing blue eyes living me in a stupor. 

Felix's perspective, 

The moment she began staring at me, I felt it. Not knowing who it was, Felix decided to continue for a bit before finishing. Soon he found out it was Isabel peaking through the door. 

"What do we have to here? Are you spying on me, Isabel?" He teases while grabbing a towel to dry off his sweat. 

"What! Of course not, I just didn't want to distract you, you looked focused." Isabel manages to stammer out while trying to clean up her out-of-bed appearance.

Obviously, I don't believe her, "Sure you won't. Anyways good morning early riser." Felix says to her. 

"What are you doing up so early? I remember how you would be late daily for your morning classes." Isabel asks while we walk together to the kitchen for a light snack. 

"Well, it turns out I am becoming nocturnal." 
She simply stares at me so that I can give out the real reason. 

Seeing how little trust I possess continues to fall ever closer to the abyss, he speaks, "Haha just kidding, It seems that since I'm being nourished with a lot of energy, it keeps my mental and physical state at their peak if I don't exert myself too much."

"That's pretty amazing! I can't wait to watch videos of you pushing yourself to the limit so that I can calculate your physical parameters," She says while getting into nerd mode.

"Hmm yea I bet that's the main reason you'll watch those videos Miss mathematician," I say alluding to something else. 

She simply doesn't answer back and blocks my sight of her by opening the fridge, making me smirk. 

"So what are we gonna do today?" Isabel questions changing the subject.

Mostly busy work around the house, and researching using each other's expertise. I'll explain better later so that I don't have to repeat myself.

After a while, the couple woke up. After everyone was ready for the day we went to the office and began to discuss.

Having everyone's attention, Felix began talking, "Since I'm the odd one who's able to natural feel the aether energy, I will try to discover new ways to use it. Furthermore, until you guys get more training, I will be the only one going out in the field when things start to get dangerous." 

They were about to refuse what I said but Chris spoke before I could, "I agree with Felix, he is now naturally that good of a fighter. Even now he is probably growing stronger than us as we speak. Even before, I wasn't able to put a finger on him much less now. If we want to be able to help him, then we will have to work hard and catch up with him with using what we are good at." 

Sees that the girls are thinking, Felix adds, "For example, Chris is a Mechanical Engineer. He will be in charge of the research, design, development, and construction of things to help us. What we need from him right now would be a better communication device and a workout machine to test one's reflexes. Then we have Athena who I'm no longer surprised given her personality is the best marksman out of all of us. She is also a Data Scientist who uses the scientific method, processes, algorithms, and systems to extract knowledge and insight from any structural and unstructured data. This means that Athena will look through our data and the web to gain a better understanding of what's happening to us and make future predictions given the information we have. While I know Isabel isn't violent like our little friend over there." I stare at Athena before continuing to speak, "you can help us in your way with communication support and research. As a mathematician, you will use your knowledge of math to solve information regarding our bodies and future opponents." Felix can finally see their eyes burn with passion. He began to think about how he's good at bringing up people's moods. 

Not wanting to be left behind, Chris said, "Felix can later try to teach us how to feel the aether while we set time aside to train together." 

Since the girls agree with what we said, we set out to do our specialties.

The first thing Felix is going to do is eat. Well, I'm not going to eat regular food but a rabbit instead. While grabbing the weakest rabbit using his energy sense, he takes it to the backyard so that the girls don't try to stop him from killing it. Grabbing onto its legs, he lays its head on the floor. He places a broom on the back of its head. At the same time step on the broom and pull it by the legs until he hears the neck bones disarticulate. This kills the rabbit painlessly and more importantly will taste better. Felix begins to process the rabbit cutting it up. Soon he begins to cook it in a pan. It was at this moment the two girls are walking by and stop near me. 

At this point, I knew I f**k up.

"Felix what are you making, it smells good can you make us some," Athena asks trying to act nice.

At this moment I have two options, say sure and let them eat a cute bunny causing them to hate me throughout the day, or tell them the truth. 

Taking in a deep breath Felix says, "It had to be done. I killed a bunny, I just hand to find out if it would give experience points. You could never be too sure given the state of things going on. It was for the greater good!" Felix's eyes twinkle at the very end. 

The girls are left dumbfounded. "You, you, demon how could you." They say in unison. 

Felix places some round glasses that appeared out of nowhere and says, "Don't worry ladies, as I'm a well-organized mind believe that the bunny is off to its next great adventure." Felix's eyes are twinkling even harder. 

The girls run away at that moment scared. 
I see that Chris had just witnessed that beautiful moment and replies before leaving to comfort them, "You're a little scary sometimes, you know that?"

Felix feels extremely exhausted from pouring all the energy that could in his eyes, to make them twinkle. It was worth it, he thought. 

After eating the rabbit, he found out that eating animals will give you the energy that can help you evolve a bit faster. However, since he has used most of his energy and it was too low level compared to him. It was only able to bring up his energy reserves back to full.

After that short prank, Felix began to do his work. He began to study the animals using observation and energy sense which has grown to almost reach 4 meters. He wrote down his findings on a tablet and sent it to Athena to analyze and added that she should create a power system.

The animals seem to have become restless in the cages. The most noticeable change would be the praying mantis, which grows from 3 to 9 inches. Sensing the absorption speed of the rabbits, it seems that they are more naturally gifted in absorbing aether than humans. At least double the speed of humans but they vary between each bunny.

Using numerical units, humans are around an absorption speed of 1 unit, animals are from 2 through 3 units. However, not having enough examples to have my hypothesis, may be wrong. My body is overall 3 units combined. Insects are around 2 units, it seems that since they breathe differently it allows them to grow bigger. After some research online, I found out that insects breathe through their bodies. For example,
their bodies are like sponges with small holes that allow water(air)  inside to moisten them. Therefore, it might be the reason why they can absorb more aether, resulting in making them grow bigger. However, I believe it should come at a disadvantage in slowing down their future evolution speed. 

It suddenly gave me a fright thinking of huge spiders, but soon I looked up online that they are not insects, they are a different classification of the animal. I wipe the fake sweat off my forehead on that close call just now.


Besides, Felix found out that with the increase aether accumulates in an animal, the animal becomes harder to sense. The more accumulated aether increases their evolution level, the harder it gets to sense the energy inside their bodies. When they reach a higher level of evolution than him, he won't be able to sense their energy flows. He would only know that there is a big energy group in that direction which messes up his senses around it.

This gave me the idea of using my stored energy in my body to compare it to others and gain a rough understanding of their overall evolution stage. This will give me an understanding of their strength.

It would the more energy in their bodies the further they have evolved, therefore harder to deal with.

For example, Felix's current strength is about 360 pounds and can sense the energy flow of Chris with some resistance. Using the approximate resistance of sensing his energy, information on his body strengths, my body strength, and collection of more sample data from my friends. This will allow me to create a mental algorithm with my body energy levels, compared to the target giving me an idea of their approximate strength.

After finding out everything I can from the animals for now. Felix received a message from Athena consisting of the power system. The system being:

Level 2 is just a hypothesis but given the progression of our evolution and data analyzed then care accurate guesses.

After finish reading the power system, Felix goes to see how Chris is doing. 

Find him at the office, Chris said, "So I needed some items and materials for my designs and decided to go buy them as soon as possible. I didn't forget to bring my gun in case that I'm attacked. After Felix processed what Chris said, he added, "So many people are locked inside their homes. This means that a large margin of people hasn't discovered the abnormalities. After talking about what he saw out shopping today, Chris showed me his designs. One is an application for the 4 apple watches that he bought today for us to use.

Looking through the design, Felix says, "It looks complicated. I'll help you create the app and we can request help from Athens since she took some computing classes. "

The Apple Watch app will consist of:
A mini-map that tells us our location and what routes to take to get to our destination 
It will be created by finding the Maps API which is the call request to their site. It gets permission to use their maps on our applications. 

It will also have health information on all members of the group. It was created by finding source code on a health app. 

It will also have your body stats and can choose to let others in the group check it. 

Finally, Felix will connect it to his security software, install antivirus and antimalware software. In case that the hacking can't be prevented, it will destroy all data.

The final version will not be created any time soon but a prototype will work for now.

We worked through a couple of hours to get the prototype working.

Another design Chris created was a workout device that will train our reflexes. You will stand in the circle where tennis shooting devices will shoot at you while going in circles.

At the end of the day, we will show our data.

They all become wide eye when they see my information.
