 I first started writing in the 5th grade, I instantly fell in love. It became my dream to spread my work and touch people with my stories, it became my dream to make a difference and create something beautiful.
Two years ago, I found Wattpad, and I couldn't have been happier. In these two years I have written three books, made incredible friends, and have become far more confident in my writing while I grew. However, in the past few months, a lot of things have come to light that have broken my trust in Wattpad, I still love the community and the people I've met but I don't want to stay and give Wattpad my exclusivity. As most of you know, aside from Wattpad and Webnovel, I use eight other sites (Dreame, Tapas, Inkspired, Goodnovel, Ajoara, Booknet, Inkitt, and Sweek), and I'm still continuing to grow.
In the time between now and April 30th 2021, I will be making some major changes and leaps in my writing. Part of this change will include taking most of Free Me off of Webnovel and these other sites, I will leave maybe the first 2-3 chapters but that is it. Only a couple sites have the option to hold onto Free Me in its completion. Tapas is one of those sites, if we want to keep Free Me online and available for the public, it will have to reach 350 subscribers before April 30th. After a moment of excitement, Ren Suo calmed himself down and got a grip on his emotions..
Mo Zhaolong's incident served as a warning to him.
The hypnotic ability that Mo Zhaolong possessed must have been acquired using unconventional ways. Ren Suo previously thought that Mo Zhaolong had learned some high-level skills, but he now had a different idea since he had already retrieved the [1-star Sleepy Key] from him.

Ren Suo then headed to the forum site which he frequently contributed to, only to discover that there were no news articles or reports that were beyond his imagination.
"Could Mo Zhaolong's incident have really been an exceptionally rare event?" Ren Suo could not help but think that he must be suffering from the "eighth-grader syndrome". At this very moment, he noticed that the forum page had refreshed itself and a new thread appeared:

"Oh?" Ren Suo clicked in out of curiosity. However, at the next second, a system message appeared: "The thread you were looking for does not exist."
Ren Suo paused for a moment and realized that all information on the internet was subjected to regulations.
Terms and keywords such as "Heavenly Hitman" and "Lamperouge" had been banned from discussion.
With the appearance of the controversial video [The Hitman – the Bloody Ball], the entire world now knew that there was an organization named the "Heavenly Realm" in the East. They believed any hitman in this organization to be an extraordinary gunman who could fight one to a hundred other opponents. 
Although the country was not able to stop the spread of the video, they were able to ban people from discussing the incident on mass media, in hopes of calming the waves arising from the incident.
Without mass media platforms like Weibo, news sites, and forums, the talks about the incident would not have been able to proliferate, and the entire incident would have been forgotten quickly. Other hot topics in the news would have caught the attention of the masses.
Ren Suo tried performing searches on international search engines using Romanized keywords like 'xiangongshashou'. However, just as he expected, no such articles could be found.
All sites from large nations had begun censoring articles related to the Hitman; it was not just Xuan Nation alone. Since they had the ability to regulate information related to the 'Hitman from the Heavens', they naturally had the power to control and regulate the dissemination of other 'special information' revolving the incident.
'Talents' like Mo Zhaolong must still be a 'rarity', and there should be few of such people in the world, for there had yet to be any surges in the discussions about him. This also proved that peculiar events were happening around the world, which had urged countries around the globe to come together to control the release of information related to the incident.
Previously, Ren Suo had resigned to fate and felt that he would just be a mere chess piece in the game of life, an insignificant soul going along with the flow of nature.
However, he now knew that he had to take a shot at breaking out of this fate.
There was no grand nor honorable reason why Ren Suo felt inclined to do so. He just hoped that in the future, he and his family would have a safe environment to live in despite all the tumultuous seas and calamities which had happened around the world. To achieve this, he needed to be unique, to be 'irreplaceable'. He had been a typical, lazy, nothing out-of-the-ordinary human, and he stood absolutely no chance at being a leader. Moreover, he was even afraid of death.
Now, with his Mini Worlds Gaming Console, he would be able to earn the title of being 'irreplaceable' to the country, to the society, and to the people. Consequently, he would receive the blessing and protection of everyone, regardless of what was to come in the future!
Ren Suo navigated to the World Shop and found that the [Free Game-of-the-Month] column was greyed out. When he tried to enter, a message appeared: [You have finished the Free Game-of-the-Month. Please wait patiently for next month's Free Game-of-the-Month.]
10 merits were still required to conduct a single [Search] for a key. Ren Suo had 14 merits left after using one merit to retrieve the 1-star Sleeping Key.
Although Ren Suo did not know how valuable merits were, he did not want to risk spending all his merits searching for keys. After all, he had not found out where or how he could credit more merits in the game. The [Search] page no longer showed the prompt "You fool, you are too poor to perform a search". Instead, the prompt read "Enter the special rewards that you wish to obtain." Ren Suo was bewildered.
Perhaps due to the fact that Ren Suo now had merits, there was also a new column in the World Shop which read: [April Fools' Discounted Items!]
April Fools'? Ren Suo was stunned for a moment. He realized it would be April 1 in two days.

Why is there no offer on April Fools' Day itself…?
As Ren Suo had expected, all the games on the list had to be bought with merits.
Although Ren Suo was not wealthy, he now had an unquenchable and insatiable desire to buy more merits with his money, for he realized that he could not even afford any of the discounted games.
 [The Lurking] 50% OFF, 40 merits; [Soul Ferry] 50% OFF, 45 merits; [The Fiery Supernatural] 50% OFF, 150 merits…
"But I only have 14 merits!" Ren Suo was perplexed. He did not see "The Hitman" in the list, but he knew he would not have been able to afford it either. "Isn't there something similar to a beginner's welcome gift?" 
Even if he had money and could top-up his merits, he would not have been able to buy some of the games anyway. For example, [The Fiery Supernatural] was only available to level 4 players and was greyed out and inaccessible to Ren Suo.
Ren Suo realized that these games either required players to be level 1 or level 4; levels 2 and 3 seemed to be merely a transitioning phase, whereas level 4 was the peak.
Ren Suo still had no idea if there were any games that required players to have an even higher level than level 4. Even so, he realized that there were hundreds of discounted games as he scrolled quickly through the list. He also found out that there was absolutely no information about any of the games online. Thus there was no way Ren Suo could search online for gameplay strategies and walkthroughs. 
Ren Suo then discovered an available option at the top of the list: [Show only games I can afford]. He immediately selected that option.
The long list instantly disappeared, leaving only one option.
[A Strong Warrior Ascends 10,000 Meters], 50% OFF, 8 merits.
…The name sounded tacky and inelegant, even more so than [The Hitman].
However, this was the only game that Ren Suo could afford. If he did not buy this, he could only wait for the free game that would be released next week. Only after clearing those games, could he then earn more merits to buy other games.
When Ren Suo read the game description however, he found a major highlight:
[This game increases one's intellectual ability. The player's avatar will be transformed into a seeker striving to climb the highest mountains, encountering countless extreme weather conditions in the process. Your body is the only one you can rely on! The highest reward for clearing this game is 40 merits. You will receive a special reward "Enhanced Physique". In-game purchases are available. There is only 1 chapter and no expansion packs. Game difficulty: 1 star.]
A whooping 40 merits!
Ren Suo's eyes gleamed in fascination and shock. Spending 8 merits to gain 40 merits, that would be a 400% profit!
He did not even bother considering if he would be at a loss.
It is just a 1-star difficulty game, how hard would it be for me to get a perfect score?! How could I not clear this intellectual game?!

It is with a heavy heart that I've got to inform all of you, I have pulled down over 150 chapters of this story from WN. As I mentioned last month (April), I had noticed my story showing up on multiple sites, without my permission. They all linked back to WN  (with claims the story was being written in chinese, and translated/posted onto WN). I can assure you none of that was true, and like I said previously, the fact my story was constantly being posted elsewhere, without my permission, or even giving me credit for the story, was something I couldn't turn a blind eye to. DCO is a big part of what allows me to write full time. I am barely able to pay my bills as is, and so, things that take away from potentially bringing me in more readers/supporters, and harming my future as an author, could not be taken lightly.
I will be leaving these first 40ish chapters up, for now, to give people here at least a part of the story. Distance star looked to look like line. Now that the ship was in hyperdrive, it would take around three days until he reached his destination.

While in hyperdrive Eden won't be able to buy or sell products in the virtual market. However he can visit them. He could buy books that could read online, read forums.

However right now Eden was tired of studying. He wanted to stop everything and rest. This journey he had no plans to do anything.

Going to the corner of the lobby he sat down in a bar and started to drink a little. Paying ten thousand credit for one glass he started to drink. As Eden was savoring the taste,he was startled by the female voice.

"You sure you can afford that?"

"Why can't I?"Eden retaliated.

Martha; Victor's girlfriend.

Once upon a time, Eden and Martha used to be friends. Used to, meaning it was in the past. It was different now. Now she was his enemy, Kinda.

"Because, you can't afford it." She spoke as if it she knew everything about him.

"Bitch, you know nothing." Eden was cursing in his head.

"Sorry miss, but sir here has already paid for his drink." Spoke bartender.

"Thanks mate you're getting nice tip for that." Though Eden as he raised his glass and gulped down remaining drink at once.

Eden waved his hand and paid yet another ten thousand credit as tip as he left the bar and entered the lobby.

"How dare you don't give me any face? Are even trying to piss me off?" Questioned the raging bitch that followed him in the lobby.

As far as Eden knew this wasn't the same girl who he knew long time ago. No this wasn't the same girl at all, this bitch was someone else women.

Martha was looking at his with her raging eyes. But did Eden care. Of course not. Turning around she left fuming.

"That was some rage, you sure you going to be fine?"

"I will be fine."

Eden looked at his side and replied the person who was approaching him.

"Mark Walker." He introduced himself while shaking his hand.

After taking for a bit Mark got straight to the point. He was looking for recent graduates from planet Coco. Mark was leader of a mercenary group hence was looking for a mechanic to recruit. Eden had no plans to join the mercenary group hence he declined the offer. However he knew some graduates that wanted to join mercenary group in his highschool.

Mercenaries were well paid everywhere. If not they won't take any job. Mechanic were supposed to fix the suit and make new design based on requirement of the group. Hence they didn't have to share any dangerous situation, at the same time they get paid as well. After sharing their contact information he took in their information gathering methods and sites info.

After some calls Mark was able to make deal with two of the graduates from Eden's highschool, and as thank you Mark gave him a digital map.

This was map of every black market in this universe. Normally this was given only to mercenary, so they could sell illegal goods gathered by mercenaries. After that he started to spend his free time in lobby taking with peoples.

By the time the ship got out of hyperdrive after three days, Eden's had gathered some information he required for himself.

My first original, Where I basically tried to make a system where you can actually buy Luck attribute. Got the idea from the strongest gene.

Though I will focus on combat suits a little bit, most of the time I will focus on both mechanic and gene-related parts. As for the gaming elements, the whole world is set in a partial game setting. no such thing as Health Points or stuff, but there will be attributes And levels.

I happen to read novels like The Legendary Mechanic, Super Gene, and The Strongest Gene, and I got this idea, to make a new novel.

Only this time on a very massive scale.

I'm learning to write a novel with the same writing way as that of the strongest gene.

Ren Hong returned to his room. After he suspended his studies, he rented a separate room off campus. The rent was atrocious, but still within his acceptable range. He believed that in a little while, everything would be better.
As soon as he got home, he turned on his computer and skilfully logged into his email address. He sent an email with three versions of Real-time Online Translator for PC, Android, and iOS to the United States, and the recipient was apparently the headquarters of Facebook. After successfully sending out two emails, Ren Hong sat still in front of his computer, not saying a word as a smile gradually appeared across his face.

Ren Hong browsed through the UI of the website and nodded slightly. This was the result he wanted—full of futuristic and technological charm.
"That's basically it." Ren Hong shifted his gaze from the screen and to the crowd as he announced, "Starting today, I announce the launch of the company's first product!"
The moment he finished his sentence, Zhang Han and the rest burst into a loud applause. Although this applause wasn't deafening, it was full of confidence and passion. Ren Hong held down the excitement in his heart, continuing. "This is our company's first product. This great product should have a grand launch, but I guarantee that our second product will be officially launched in a grand hall, in the face of the world!"
As soon as those words came out, the applause resounded again. Ren Hong closed his eyes. The excitement in his heart made him incredibly elated, and he was convinced that the next time he stood on the stage, it would be an earth-shattering scene before him.
From today onward, the company's website was officially released, along with the download section for Real-time Online Translator for the three versions—PC, Android and iOS.

I squeezed my eyes shut preventing myself from crying as I finish the last chapter of the novel. 
During our clearing operation in an abandoned building that terrorists used as a hiding place, I found a flash drive on top of a deteriorating side drawer. I took it hoping it would serve as evidence and will help the progress of the investigation. After the operation, I immediately  scanned the files. The usb plug was a little bit rusty but it was still readable. To my surprise, the flash drive contained only one file. I immediately contacted the computer forensics division to check if there were any encrypted files but they found nothing. The only file in the flash drive was a PDF named "The Sun's Empress". I opened it. And ended up reading the whole thing. 

The novel revolves around a noble named Adelia Pennington. A bright and young girl who captured the heart of the Sunnivan prince, Alaric Soliel. It's mostly about how Alaric became the King of the Sunnivan Empire and how Adelia helped him to be one. Alaric is the sun that will bring light on the Sunnivan Empire and Adelia is his empress, the mother of his empire. 

After reading, I immediately researched about the novel. 

"The Sun's Empress" was a popular romantic-fantasy novel online before. It basically came out of nowhere, rose to the top and sat on the top spot of every popular reading sites. It was an online sensation and got people from around the globe hook to the storyline. 

However it was never published into a book. Apparently, the author declined all publishing offers for reasons no one knows. Then, after finishing "The Sun's Empress", she never wrote another story and vanished into thin air. She left the readers wanting for more. They bombarded her social media accounts which she deactivated later on. There were no other ways to find her because aside from her gender, she didn't reveal anything about her. Then, years passed and her novel was completely forgotten. Various novels of the same genre arised and completely burying the novel who paved the way.

Most of the articles on the internet were dated back 6 years ago. And the sites where one can read the novels already stopped functioning or those that are still present deleted the novel so there's no way for people to read it. And I am a lucky individual who happened to find this flash drive containing the full novel. 

I sighed and removed my glasses. I don't know if I'm feeling sad because the novel won't get a sequel or because I can't extend my gratitude to the author for writing a masterpiece or because I found a novel instead of an evidence. But, whatever the reason, one thing I know is I was amazed by the story. 

Iclosed my laptop and went to bed after. 

But little did I know that one day I will die and I will be transmigrated into the novel. Into the body of the a supporting character named Henrietta Lovell.
