Another question arose in Haruki's mind. Had the senior student told his father he had spilled the beans to Jun? 
Now being inside the police agency, the singer realized how complicated the friendship between Hinata and Jun was.
 Even the fact that the student was staying at the Botan mansion could put in check the commissioner's career, or so Haruki believed.
Haruki didn't want to be between Yakuza and the Police. If Jun followed this path of criminality, he would end up in prison.
 Even if Jun was right in case he went to rescue the 'guinea pigs' in the laboratory and destroy that terrifying place, in doing 'justice by his own hands' he would end up in prison for being a vigilante. 
The singer concentrated on breathing to stay calm and focused on his duty. 
It was up to Haruki to track down to find the people inside Neona, everyone should be removed, and Neona should be emptied. So that everyone involved was arrested.
For Haruki, finding his friends was easy. First, because the bunker was his, so the singer had a strong connection with the place. Second, because Jiji was there, and he was part of the singer's possessions in the game. Another bond that favored finding the pet. 
And finally, Saito and Daisuke were together in the bunk. And well, Saito and he shared some intimate moments. Haruki didn't want to think about Saito too much. 
Therefore, his image was alive in the singer's mind. And even though he looked older than Haruki remembered, his wild and dangerous aura was too damn sexy. The expression 'sugar daddy' and everything it represented pleased Haruki secretly. 
'Damn Hinata!' The singer cursed him. 'Punishments and rewards!' A shiver ran through the singer's body. 
He jumped when he heard Commissioner Okane's voice giving the warning.
"One minute and counting!" His voice resembled Hinata's, just more hoarse and commanding.
Haruki opened his eyes. Maybe he would concentrate better with them open. From his position, the singer could see Will at work and he noticed that the developer had shaking hands and had bitten his nails. 
The singer put himself in Will's place. He had been born out of a successful experiment by Dr. Wang, in a laboratory. And being perfect for the scientist, he was chosen to be his avatar. 
What would it be like to live knowing that your death was imminent? 
Another thought passed quickly by Haruki. He hadn't stopped to think about how much the developer felt connected to the other experiments, and to the other avatars. 
'Did he think of others as siblings?'
In any case, Will was capable of thinking, and chose to sabotage the project and denounce the scientist. His request had moved Haruki. This creature wanted the singer to help save those who were imprisoned. Will was more than a creature with thought. He was able to feel, to be moved. 
Haruki, because he no longer felt human, could not see the avatar as human. As a chimera of science, Will was deeply humanistic. Much more humanized than many humans the singer knew.
The countdown caught Haruki by surprise. The voice that resembled Hinata's but was from Commissioner Okane started the countdown. It was time for Haruki to shine, showing the way.
"Dec, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1."
Everything had to be synchronized for the assigned teams to attack together on both fronts. Mr. Honda opened the portal. Will monitored and protected the singer with shields. 
Haruki entered the multiverse film, focusing on Neona. He wandered through everything, which he felt was alive. His first discovery was the dimension that Neona occupied in the multiverse. She was expanding.
The protection mechanism that made coordinates shift to confuse invaders, and that made it impossible for the police to rescue, had accelerated the independence of this new world. 
Haruki felt that it had started in the mangroves, areas between land and sea, a gentle effervescence. The singer predicted the birth of a second Earth, because in these muds, there would soon be life.
 Was that how life on Earth came about? 
Without knowing enough about biology, the singer can only hope that this place existed beyond its creator and without his presence. The singer realized even if they destroyed the servers, Neona would continue to exist independently. 
The images that were once watercolors, now took other forms, less vivid but more real. The singer zapped the hundreds of islands. Some were continental. He heard the sound of life. 
Haruki had found a group of eight men riding motorcycles, and not far from the group, he heard a faint heartbeat.
 The singer focused on the weakened sound until he found it. It was a wounded black and white dog. It was weak, and he tried unsuccessfully to dig out of the ditch in which someone trapped the poor animal. 
Haruki went through the film entering Neona, ran to help him. The dog quieted and closed his eyes, pretending to be dead when he saw him coming. 
"Easy boy, I will help you." Haruki said in his softest tone of voice to calm the animal. It was a sheepdog, it was bleeding and with several marks of fire. 
Haruki carefully pulled him out of the hole, taking care not to make his injuries worse. He had already lost a lot of blood. The singer started looking in the store for something that would cure him, and found the card Accelerated Pet Care.
 It was cheap; it cost 10,000 diamonds. Diamonds were now no problem for the singer who had become a billionaire when he reached the rank of Miyu's future husband.
The card restored 100% health to the animal, but it was necessary for the pet to be in its inventory to use the card. 
The singer continued to look at the other cards. He knew about the exchange card that Miyu used on him, but the singer found a card called LOOT. This card was extremely expensive and had a single use. Anything he found could be added to his inventory for free, becoming his.
Haruki used it for pet adoption. When active, the animal he found would be classified as a dropped item and the singer would be able to put it in his inventory. With the dog properly in his inventory of items, Haruki used the Accelerated Pet Care card on it.

"That's right, boy, don't stick to bad memories," the singer spoke, thinking that he should use this advice to himself, go back to his old philosophy of life and stop suffering for Jun. "Let's get outta here, boy." 
Haruki took one last look at the arid, vegetation-free region around them. It was reminiscent of post-apocalyptic films.
 He understood that that group of eight men were living a fantasy about them being the last humans, and had had fun torturing this helpless creature and left him to die helplessly.
Haruki bought water for the dog, and the animal drank it eagerly. 
As it drank, the singer sat and watched his new friend, happy to be alive despite everything that has happened. It had not given up on life.
"Come here, come buddy, "the singer called, and the dog came right away. It was very docile. 
Picking up the animal, he took off his jacket and put it on the dog. Haruki stood with him in his arms. The singer would make the crossing for the real world, from the scorching sun to a cold laboratory, Haruki went through the portal. 
He felt the dog's thirty kilos become unsustainable and fell to his knees, struggling to protect the animal during the passage, and raised his arms.
Haruki no longer had the command of his body that didn't obey his wishes. He saw his arms fall, but the dog jumped before the singer felt the impact of his face on the floor. The cold air burning on his skin.

However, when the referee reached 3 on the count, he stood up again.

The audience on the side of the ring saw this scene and couldn't help but shake their heads. They thought they were about to see a KO in the first round.

Tang Yan saw that Singer stood up again and wasn't too surprised.

Not letting up Tang Yan followed up with a left hook.

Getting up close in, he managed to connect directly to Singer's right cheek.

Then he threw a right which perfectly connected, to his left cheek.

This punch made Singer's whole body crumble and consciousness was lost in an instant.

Tang Yan's punches were fast and heavy. The ordinary man couldn't hack such punches. Singer's skills were relatively decent, he managed to stave of two of the punches, stay alive through the third but was gone on the fourth.

But Tang Yan didn't mean to stop.

He remembered flashbacks from yesterday, in another life that thin boy could have been himself or that girl his sister.

His heart was full of anger, he threw a straight punch to the temple of Singer.

The whole person of Singer was beaten and fell back and he slammed into the ropes of the boxing ring and then bounced back.

Tang Yan swung a right hook which caught Singer in the chest again.

Although separated by a glove, Singer's chest took a solid hit.

The referee saw that the situation was turning bad and he forced Tang Yan back.

Singer had long lost consciousness and he tumbled to the canvas.

There was no blood in his face and he looked bleak.

The referee became nervous and immediately went over to check him out. He checked for his breathing but didn't sense a breath. He felt for a pulse then jumped up.

He immediately shouted: "No heartbeat! Medics!"

The medical staff under the stage immediately jumped into the ring.

The audience on the sidelines saw this scene and were stunned. This was no longer just a KO. 

This was too exaggerated, right?

Immediately the medical staff took control, they began emergency manual resuscitation, and the scene fell into chaos....

"Gasp..."

After the medical staff worked hard for more than 30 seconds, Singer gasped for air...

Hearing the gasp for air, not only the medical staff even the referee was relieved.

The dismissal did not seem to influence Singer negatively, but rather to increase the desire to continue in this lifestyle, so he began to work as mercenaries where he spent years making his name, and in these missions, he was proud to complete the majority with his boxing that was forged and polished in the midst of his battles.
Even when he received the proposal from Thomas Dyke and to be a personal bodyguard, he never stopped training his passion.

Or he would explode the factory, that which could catch him and all the surrounding people, but there would be no risk of this potential weapon falling into the wrong hands.
He looked James and said deeply "Do it"
James nodded and approached the computer facing the armored mirror that gave the reactor a view and where the tests with the mini energy core were done.
"We are going to increase the rate of firing of laser beams in the hohlraum... increase the energy emitted by the reactor towards the cooling outlets... trigger the reinforcement of the test room...".
Alex did not understand exactly what James was saying or doing, but James' concentration on typing lines of code, showing his seriousness about the moment
James could feel Alex's eyes on his back, but he didn't stop typing the lines of code "Just a little more".
"STOP"
A scream suddenly made James stop typing and look back, the scream was not from Alex but from Singer who was getting up and went into a frenzy when he realized that Alex and James's target was to destroy the entire underground installation.
Singer couldn't allow that, looking at Alex in despair "Do you have any idea what you're doing? If you do that, we will surely die".
Alex just kept watching Singer get up without saying "Do you think your boss of Roxxon Corp can do anything to stop me?"
"Roxxon? haha" Singer laughed when he heard Alex's words "Demon Shadow, you have no idea of anything. The Roxxon only served as a cover for this project, they are the associates you should be afraid of".
Alex raised his eyebrows and looked at James, who understood and typed on the computer again.
Roxxon or his associates did not matter to Alex, as soon as he managed to advance his cultivation. Everyone would tremble with fear.

"Aren't you going with me?" James asked concerned, still concerned for his safety.
"No, I still have matters to resolve this evening" Alex should return to Chinatown as soon as possible and know about the status between Flying Dragons, Bratva, and Black Lotus Tong "Do not waste any more time and go, we do not know if your calculations about the explosion are right ... Suddenly, a much bigger explosion than the previous ones took over the entire factory. Then forming a mushroom-shaped smoke.
An interesting thing happens next, when the explosion seemed to be compressed in a single point and to hit the floor to launch a sound wave that broke all the windows of buildings and cars around.
Alex watched everything from the top of the building, he couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief "That was close".

"Remember to disguise yourself or we would be in a lot of trouble. Your popularity is increasing these days too, so there can be fans here."
Xiao Rin nodded and put on a surgical mask. She also put on sunglasses and a hat. Her disguise was nearly perfect.
"Good, I don't think anybody would recognise you now. Let's go, then."
Chief Woo said as he, Xiao Rin and the cameraman came out of the van and entered a bar.
It was very spacious and although it was still evening, there were many people present in the bar, drinking and chatting with friends.
"Chief Wong, why are we here?"
Xiao Rin said as she looked around the bar.
Maybe because it was her first time to actually come in the bar or it was just the atmosphere but she felt both excited and nervous.
"We are here to see a performance."
Chief Wong said as they sat around in a corner seat. The seat has a good view of the stage and they would be less noticed in the corner.
"Performance? Are not we looking for Senior Ren?"
"Yes, we are looking for him and we will..…"
As Chief Wong was saying that, the lights dimmed and the lights on the stage lit up.
A performance was starting soon.
"Look at the stage, you will get your answer."
Xiao Rin looked at the stage confused when she heard that.
The cameraman also focused his camera on the stage.
Soon, a man came on the stage. He was wearing some tattered clothes and there was a chain with a weird dragon design on his neck.
He has rough beard too. He looked like a experienced indie singer.
"Hello everyone, my name is Leo, I am a singer who is going to perform here."
The singer named Leo started playing his guitar as he said that.
"Chief Wong!! He is...."
"Yes, you guessed right."
Chief Wong said as he started focusing on the performance.
Xiao Rin also stared at the stage but with wide eyes. She was shocked to see that she knew the indie singer on the stage.
"Getting over the clouds, we see the shining bright sun...."
"My life is like a moon....."
"Struggling in the night sky....."
"And I am standing here....."
"Wanted to meet you but I don't wanna hurt you....."
"Cause I am the not the right guy for you...."
Xiao Rin was more shocked the more she listened to it, it was because she knew the indie singer singing on the stage very well.
She has heard his voice multiple times and despite him portraying himself as a indie singer, she knew he was not one.
"Damn, the song is really good."
"More like the singer knew how to put emotions in the song. We were really lucky to get to see him tonight."
Xiao Rin can hear two people speaking about the indie singer on stage.
She parked up her ears as she listened to them talking.
"Do you know anything about him?"
"Yes, he has been getting famous in the bars in this district lately."
"Really??"
"Yes, most people only know that his name is Leo and he plays the guitar, although I have seen many singers better than him but sometimes he plays some of his original songs."
"Originals?"
"Yes, the song he is singing on the stage. Have you heard of it before?"
"No, I don't think that I have heard it before."
"That's one of his original songs. It's good, right? "
"Yes, it's really good. I think it is better than many of the songs I have heard."
The two man talked for a while about the indie singer.
'Clap!''Clap!'
After the performance ended, the indie singer, Leo bowed his head slightly as he thanked everyone for listening to his song.
"Thank you for listening to my song. I hope you would like it."
"Please! One more time."
"Yes, we want to hear you again."
"The song was really good."
There was cheering and clapping for a while and despite the people urging him to sing again, the indie singer just smiled and left the stage.
"Let's go."
Chief Wong suddenly said.
"Ah, where?"
Xiao Rin was slightly surprised by those sudden words.
"To the backstage."
They moved to the backstage after that. There was no person who restricted them from going to the backstage.
They reached there swiftly and saw the indie singer polishing his guitar.
"How was my performance?"
The indie singer asked Chief Wong like he knew him.
"It was good. You are really getting more better."
"Thanks."
The indie singer said that and then, he looked at Xiao Rin.
"Did you liked my performance?"
"Yes, it was great but why are you singing in a bar?"
Xiao Rin has already gauged thr true identity of the singer, so she acted familiar with him.
"You know who I am?"
"Yes, do you really think that you can fool with that?"
Xiao Rin said as she let out a small laugh.
"Ah, it looks like I was found out."
The indie singer said as he removed his fake beard and the chain on his neck. Then, he revealed his handsome face.
He was actually Ren, who was posing as a singer.


Ren, he was someone with great talent in acting and singing but due to bad luck and some wrong choices, he was only able to become a third rate actor.

After dying in an accident, he noticed that he had returned to the past.

With the help of his talents and the knowledge of future, he started his journey to become the trendiest star of the century!

Following that, Dani released a new song with George as the lyricist and Dani performing the vocals.
That song's tune was extremely similar to Natural and even had many similar lyrics. The similarities were at an astonishing 80%!
That song was released after Natural, freshly published. However, Dani managed to twist to sound like Ye Lingchen was plagiarising his song. That was an absolute joke, yet he managed to produce a large amount of evidence to prove that Natural copied largely from George's song.
Dani continued to post his status, [I know it's too late for me to say anything at this point. However, Singer Y from China had indeed plagiarized our work. Unfortunately I don't know how he got his hands on our new song that we planned to release. George and I originally planned to challenge the top of the music world with this song. What a shame! George was dejected and did not want to pursue the matter. Nevertheless, I really can't stomach this. It doesn't matter that nobody believes me, I'd still want to make it known regardless!]
Dani voiced out, but George remained quiet. It seemed as though he had really given up after being wronged.
With that, the foreigners went into an uproar.
Was the truth important? Not at all!
They only followed their feelings, never believing that a Chinese person could compose such a nice song. Now that they found an opening, they were naturally excited.
As for the international music industry, they could immediately tell that Dani had only done that to jump on the hype train by smearing Singer Y. It was all to pave the way for his upcoming new songs.
However, they were happy with the outcome as Dani was one of them after all. What was Singer Y worth? In recent times, the international music industry received disparaging remarks from many people for losing to a Chinese. With that, they were spared from the criticism.

Very soon, the foreigners and Chinese were caught in a flame war. The Chinese were criticized for being shameless while the foreigners were being criticized for being dumb*sses that lost in English songwriting to the Chinese.

Ye Lingchen never expected the foreigners to be that shameless. It was fine to leech off his fame, but to think they would actually defame him and even act ignorantly about it, just because they could not believe that a Chinese person could compose a good English song.
Lately, Ye Lingchen had stayed within the new district and missed this big battle. Five days had already passed and the hype died down a little.
The foreigners thought that Singer Y was a coward due to his silence and made disparaging remarks. Meanwhile, the Chinese crowd felt insecure because of Singer Y's silence. Could it be that he was really scared? Some would even tag him in Singer Y's Weibo account.

Ye Lingchen rubbed his nose as a curl appeared at the edge of his lips. He did not expect someone to deliver popularity points to him right when he finished spending them. Moreover, that person would even present his own face for a round of face slapping.
He casually posted a status, [I'll release a new English song in one week! You foreigners better release all your songs before that so you can't accuse me of plagiarizing your content.]
Once that status was posted, the fans waiting for Singer Y's response were immediately overjoyed, feeling confident once again.

A singer is falsely accused of dealing drugs by are agency and a fellow male singer, she gets into an accident which costs her a voice, suddenly BOOM!!!! a ray of hope, another chance is given to her.

 Singer found a hundred different thoughts running through his head at that point. The worst of which was the obvious enmity between Dwarves and the Greenskin races. It wasn't just a thing in DarQ, rather it was a universal thing across nearly all lore, movies, and games. Yet, suddenly Singer found himself in the unprecedented situation of being made a leader of a Hearth and having his first action be to make Green-skins citizens of a place where Dwarves were already citizens. 
 "You did that on purpose!" Singer roared as he finally made his way through the initial shock. "You could have told me there were already Dwarves living here!" Colbey's grin got bigger if that was even possible at this point.
 "You could have asked." He quipped with barely held back mirth. Singer's mouth twitched in response. He realized he had kinda asked for that one, but setting Dwarves and Greenskin's together for the sake of payback was going a bit too far.
 "Confound it all. First I get a sarcastic brat of an AI, now I'm stuck with a washed out drunk who thinks he's funny!" Singer's temper flared at this point. Naturally finding himself trapped in a game world had been a lot to start with. Now to make matters worse it seemed as if even this new world was trying to stack the odds against him at every turn.
 "Whoa kid, I was just teasin'. I meant no harm, truly." Colbey held his hands up in a peaceful manner trying to show he meant no harm as much as he claimed the fact.
 "Sorry, it's been a rough day." He sighed as he rubbed the back of his head in deep thought as he tried to think of what to do next. Singer's thought was interrupted however as Dahpu suddenly spoke up.
 "Dahpu thinks third person's day is about to get a little more rough." Singer had no time to respond to Dahpu's claim as a stocky Dwarf burst into the room.
 "What the bloody hell Colbey! Ya wanna explain what in Reorx Beard's name is goin' on!" The newcomers voice bellowed with as much anger as his flashy outfit expressed. He was a bald Dwarf with a shorter beard than one would normally expect from a dwarf. It was neatly cropped in the short boxed beard style, contrary to the normal Dwarven style. His clothes were various shades of brown, purple and black giving him a wayward traveler appearance. Two earrings shaped like pirate cutlasses dangled from his left ear, and a single harpoon held in his hand was waving about angrily as he burst in.
 "Dagun, old buddy! My most sincerest condolences." Colbey stepped up to the dwarf called Dagun with the most fake expression of sorrow Singer had ever seen etched on his face. "You see, I had no choice but to surrender ownership to this individual here, and his first act was to invite some green-skins to be citizens of this fair town." 
 Singer nearly threw up blood in response. Colbey was a sleazy slime-ball! Colbey only winked at Singer as he waved in his direction for Dagun's benefit.
 "Ya mean the bloody poof?" Dagun asked gesturing at Singer.
 'Oh does he know you?' BIS's voice asked in his head sarcastically eliciting a sigh from Singer.
 "I'll take that as a yes." Dagun growled, misinterpreting who Singer was responding to. His face was contorted with disgust as he looked Singer up and down. It was clear he held very little regard for him. "Very well, I challenge you to combat for ownership of the Hearth." He declared as he hoisted his harpoon in the air. "Prepare yourself poof!"
 "Wait can he do that?" Singer stammered in surprise, but before he could get more than a shrug in response from Colbey the dwarf was upon him. 
 'Bust his Head!' BIS screamed in Singer's head yet again.
 'Well at least you know whose side you're on when it matters...' Singer thought.
 'The hell you talking about? I was rooting for the Dwarf!'
 'Screw you BIS!'
 'Ask nicely!'
 Singer was so distracted by BIS that he barely managed to dodge the jagged edge of the harpoon head and was instead rewarded with the wooden haft bashing him in the eye. It swelled up instantly blinding him on the right before he had a chance to react,  filling his head with the sharp kiss of pain and agony. 
 'I didn't realize you were into having hard wooden rods shoved into your face.' BIS laughed in his head.
 'Shut up BIS!' Singer growled back.
 "What? I'm not judging.' Was the only response he got back before BIS began laughing again.
 Singer looked around wildly praying for help. But, no one stepped in to interfere. Rather, it seemed they were all enjoying the show instead. In fact he was even fairly certain he saw Dahpu hand Kovak'g a snack which they were now munching on idly as they watched Singer get beat up.
 Anger flared in Singer's eyes at that. These were supposed to be his new allies, instead they sat heir enjoying... was that his own jerky they were munching on? He snapped at that moment grabbing the point of the harpoon with his bare hand as it rushed towards him again. It cut deep eliciting another yelp of pain from Singer. Somehow he managed to focus his anger to pierce through the pain fogging his brain and crystallized the blood in his fist. It stuck fast causing the Dwarf to stumble as a grin spread across Singer's face. He was no expert in combat with ancient weapons, but he had studied enough martial art over the years for a few small things to stick.
 Singer twisted savagely  pulling the harpoon behind him as he stepped forward onto the bridge of the Dwarf's foot sending him further off balance. Dagun lost his grip on the harpoon as he tumbled head over heels into the nearby wall. Singer absorbed the blood back into his hand as he flipped the harpoon around pointing the tip at the prone dwarf's face.
 "Yield." Singer grunted as he gritted his teeth in pain. He may have been able to win due to his new blood control skill, but it didn't reduce the pain any. Ever since he had gotten stuck here pain seemed to have no limiters. In some ways it even seemed more sharp than the real world had. He swayed back and forth as his vision went dark for a moment, barely hearing the dwarf yield through more of BIS's taunts.
 'If you're having performance issues you know they make a potion for that...' Singer didn't respond to BIS as he passed out from the pain.
 As Singer came to a while later he was awakened by an incredible stench. He opened his eyes to find what appeared to be a fanged frog grinning just inches from his face.
 "Dahpu..."
 "Yes Sir Singer?" Dahpu responded almost instantly cutting the words out from under Singer.
 "As my first ruling as Hearth Master I have two rules, that are imperative."
 "Yes Master singer! Dahpu will pass on Master Singer's rules with great diligence!" Dahpu's hot breath smothered Singer's face nearly causing Singer to pass out again as Dahpu jumped up and down excitedly.
 "Rule one: no one must call me sir or master anymore. It sounds pretentious. Besides I hate standing on ceremony like that."
 "Yes mas... uh Singer. What is your other rule." Dahpu's stench got worse as he leaned in closer.
 "You will take a bath every day and brush your blasted teeth!" Singer roared as he picked the goblin up by the scruff and shoved him under a waterfall just outside his new window. A loud laugh bellowed from the doorway as Dagun and Kovak'g shoved each other aside in their hurry to get in first. They weren't killing each other which was progress, but they clearly had no love for each other. 
 As the goblin's struggling suddenly ceased Singer pulled him back in through the window to have a few stomach-fulls worth of water sputter in his face from the water logged goblin. His saving grace however was the fact the stench had finally dissipated. 
 "I suppose I asked for that one." Singer groaned. But frell the splitting headache on top of the goblins stench had been an unbearable thing to awaken to. As to why he had passed out in the first place he had few answers as to why that had happened. He pulled his interface up as he set Dahpu back on the ground, who promptly shook off the water like a dog before scampering off. With an exasperated sigh Singer brought his attention back to his latest notifications.

 Singer's eyes widened in shock as he looked over what had happened. Pulling up his Blood Control he checked to find a small + sign below the description. Mentally focusing on it he saw the cost had been two blood points per one blood drop manipulated per second. Unique applications would cost double. However, now the new ability was listed underneath it as a sub-skill costing nothing extra. That answered a few questions, as against the rat he had only manipulated his blood a split second to crystallize, additionally Dahpu had healed him right after. In his fight with Dagun he had been using the ability for the whole second half of the fight draining his blood pool swiftly and had additionally lost fifty health just in the creation of a new skill. Drawing his crystallized blood back in had simply been the last straw draining his health to far. If Dagun had've waited even a second longer to yield Singer would have lost the fight.
 As far as the Dwarf went he was currently crumpled on the floor with Kovak'g. They were both nursing fresh lumps on their heads as Colbey stood above them.
 "Hey, kid. Good to see you're awake." Colbey rasped as he stepped over the orc and dwarf. "I had them set you up in the Hearth Master's quarters after you passed out to rest. It's not much as of yet but it will grow as the town does." 
 He smiled as he looked about the room. It was brighter than most of the cavern with the very walls putting off a gentle light. They appeared to be made of wood, and were on inspection in fact part of the spirit tree. There was also more than plenty of windows, and surprisingly comfortable furniture growing out of the ground and walls.
 "Was your previous room not the Hearth Master's quarters?" Singer asked as he helped Kovak'g untangle himself from Dagun.
 "That was a prison cell actually. If I had tried to leave or fully transformed the whole root structure would have contracted instantly crushing everything inside to be turned into nutrients for the tree." Singer blanched at that, recalling how much time he had spent in there, as well as how close Colbey had likely been to turning.
 "Why... or rather how I suppose?" 
 Colbey smiled a sad smile in response as he replied. "It's a bit of a story actually. To make things short, when Prime Mountain opened up news of it was rather hushed. No one had ever been able to pierce its outer shell before. Not to mention the openings were so high that even among the few who knew or even believed in it opening most couldn't make the trek." His smile seemed to turn sadder as his voice became more somber for the next part.
 "I didn't have much choice tho. My family was murdered in the backlash of a coup between two rival sect Saijin in Sca'arin. After the winner took all he went after the rest of our Saijin's followers, myself included. I fled here in hopes of finding an ancient tome that would give us the strength we needed to fight back. Regrettably I fell prey to one of the Chaos Parasites, and ended up unable to return home. I received a message a few weeks ago that the rest of my friends had fallen. Not long after the Dwarves arrived and I let them stay in exchange for some rum to ease my passing. I then holed up in the prison cell after that, intending to let the tree end me after the transformation took over."
 The other's had all gotten quiet by this point, and the mood had dropped as everyone could see the loss etched on Colbey's face. Singer scowled slightly before speaking up.
 "Well in that case, we'll be your new family and avenge your old one once we have gotten strong enough to do so."

 Before he selected his choice Singer pulled up the information window as the others in the room stared wide eyed.
 Ka'andan: A blood oath in which a group of individuals become brothers in arms. Considered to be closer than friends or family. The members will grow as one. Should any leave the Ka'andan without the full blessing of the others, their strength will be set back to what it was before the formation of the Ka'andan.
 Singer's eyes went as wide as the others before selecting the yes option. This was incredible. It was a shared exp option that was deeper than a simple party. As he read further it didn't even seem to have any restrictions on distance and even seemed to boost their strength and gains the closer they were together. 
 The others only hesitated a moment before also accepting. They had heard of such a thing but never expected to ever meet someone who could form one. It was supposed to be something only blood priests of Sca'arin could do. It cost a fortune to have done, and was sought after by many but obtained by even fewer. All three of his new allies looked at Singer with a shared expression of respect and fear as Colbey spoke five words.
 "Who the hell are you..."

　　白熠并不知道高冷骄傲的冷晴此刻心里的想法，他听着万钧的话，不禁说道：“《SINGER》是很难一季接着一季办下去，毕竟歌王这样的称号圈内也就只有那几个人当得起，不过你们可以转换一下思路，在《SINGER》这档节目上创新一下啊。”
　　“创新，说的轻松，可又哪里那么容易？”
　　夏湘摇了摇头，感叹道：“现在的综艺节目是越来越多，参差不齐说来好到演员歌手都跑来混我们主持人这个饭，一个节目想要创新根本就没那么容易。”
　　现在娱乐圈综艺节目火爆，很多都是业余主持人，尤其是真人秀节目，更是直接没有主持人，就让那些艺人直接上场玩，为了收视率可以说是费尽心血地去找一些当红的艺人。
　　就像现在《星天地》和《光荣绽放》同样是为了收视率，才会想着邀请白熠和冷晴这两位正火的演员上节目。
　　听着夏湘的话，在座的人都是知道，节目是越来越多，很多演员都靠着综艺节目火了起来，在综艺节目里面混的很不错。
　　白熠也是知道这一点的，不过他不可能去参加什么综艺节目，因为他并不需要去综艺节目里面刷脸露存在感，也知道常年混综艺节目的综艺咖都会忘了自己真正的身份是演员。
　　演员唯一需要在镜头面前出现，让观众看见的应该是自己的角色。
　　这才是演员应该做的事。
　　万钧喝着酒，听着白熠的话，笑着随意地问了一句，“白熠，节目创新你有什么好点子没有？”
　　白熠想了想，直接说道：“《SINGERA》可以改变。”

　　因为饭局上的一番话，提到《SINGER》节目改版这件事，其实只是私下随意交谈，万钧倒是把这件事记在心里，直接告诉了当初《SINGER》的总导演洪浪。
　　洪浪虽然说并不打算在办后面的《SINGER》，但其实他心里一直都记着《SINGER》，怎么说《SINGER》也是他一手办起来的，歌手之间的对决这样的一个点本就十分吸引人。
　　因为《SINGER》的招牌，也成功了好几季，只是后面歌手是越来越难请，尤其是珠玉在前，前面几季取得了很大的成功，越到后面就越困难。
　　说来到白月华参加的第三季《SINGER》其实就一开始就没有什么爆点，那个时候网友和观众就已经开始抱怨好好的《SINGER》变成了KTV大合唱，要不是后面作为补位歌手，带来一首接一首的原创歌曲，真正的爆点出现，还不知道第三季《SINGER》最后会成为什么样。
　　洪浪自然是知道白熠的，不说最近一段时间大火的《我的野蛮女友》，之前第三季的《SINGER》白熠可以说真的是白月华的帮唱嘉宾，要不是白熠在后面写得那些歌，白月华那样一位过气的天后根本就很难再重回巅峰，甚至是超越以往的地位。
　　正是因为知道白熠的才华，洪浪才会把这件事放在心上，并没有听过就忘，不以为意。
　　他心里也一直都还记着《SINGER》当初的辉煌，如果有机会，自然是希望重新让《SINGER》这一档独特，创新点十足的节目重回巅峰。

　　这也是为什么洪浪会特意找白熠谈《SINGER》改版创新的原因。
　　白月华和洪浪的关系很好，要知道白月华当初就是靠《SINGER》这个舞台成功复出，一举拿下第三季《SINGER》的女歌王。
　　“洪导，《SINGER》想要改版，只怕并没有那么容易，现在的音乐节目越来越难做。”
　　白月华并不知道白熠提出的创新究竟是怎么回事，不过她觉得现在音乐节目很难再火起来。
　　而且音乐圈也越来越难混，尤其是那些新人歌手，随着电子技术的发展，唱片销量自然严重缩水，这样一来也只能看着音乐网站下载收费这件事，至于其他的演唱会之类新人歌手更是没机会，已经不必她当年出道时候的情景。
　　听说洪浪导演找自己，白熠自然要过来，进门便听见白月华的话，笑着摇了摇头，说道：“音乐节目是越来越难做，但是如果有新意就不难。”
　　“像洪浪导演之前做的《SINGER》就很好，至少歌手之间对决，用音乐来较量很少见，这就是创新亮点，也是为什么《SINGER》会很火的原因。”
　　洪浪看见白熠进来了，又听见白熠这话，眼神有些失落，苦笑着说道：“可即便是这样《SINGER》也停播了，没有再播出了。”
　　“这是因为歌手越来越难请，有前面的大咖镇场，后面的《SINGER》嘉宾咖位自然也不能太低，观众对于出场的歌手自然会挑剔，总不能前面的门槛那么高，后面降低门槛请三线歌手争夺歌王。”
　　“说来说去，其实还是因为大牌歌手输不起，无名歌手观众瞧不起。”
　　洪浪听着白熠的话，不禁点了点头，本来就是这样，还有一个原因就是《SINGER》也播出了好几季，没有突破和改变根本就不可能再有什么达到以前的巅峰，只能是吃老本。
　　“白熠，万钧说你对《SINGER》改版有想法？”
　　白熠望了一眼白月华，直接说道：“洪导，其实并不算是改版，我的想法可能已经算得上是一个新的节目，和《SINGER》并不相同，却又有相同的地方。“
　　洪浪听着白熠这话，想到现在白熠和白月华这一对母子都已经成立自己的公司，如果真的是新的节目，那可就不是单单是创新，这里面的还有很高的利益，想了想，不禁笑着说道：“白熠，节目组这边聘请你为总策划如何？”
　　一个新的综艺节目提出来，如果湘南卫视这边不开出一些条件，就算是湘南卫视也很难确定白熠这边不会和其他卫视合作。
　　最好的办法就是让白熠参与进来，直接利益捆绑，这样一来就上了同一条船。
　　洪浪的想法很好，其实白熠心里其实这样么想的，合作方面的事自然就要交给光影公司。
　　虽然说光影公司的名字是正午阳光影视有限公司，但其实最初一开始光影公司就是白月华的个人音乐工作室，专攻音乐方面业务，本来也就不算什么影视公司，现在参与节目制作，说来也只是挂了名，因为真正参与策划制作的人只有白熠一个人。
　　没过多久，圈子里面就渐渐出现了一个消息，湘南卫视的洪浪表示将要全新打造成一个新的音乐节目，立志将这档音乐节目完美打造，争取超过当初顶尖音乐节目《SINGER》。
　　这档节目节目里面还有光影公司的参与，参与后面节目的广告分成。
　　当然，真正知道内幕的人却是知道真正参与节目策划，打造这档全新节目的是一个人。
　　圈外人自然是不知道节目是什么，即便是圈内人也没几个知道洪浪这档新节目究竟是什么，但是说要超过《SINGER》这很快引起了不少的动静。
　　要知道音乐节目现在是半死不活，还要超过《SINGER》这样一档顶尖的音乐节目，这话是不是说太大了？
