~I would have made it so each title could be it's own book; but that would be to many 1 chapter books so I will squish them all on here, Like I said before. I ONLY WRITE SHORT STORIES: THEREFORE EACH CHAPTER WILL BE A DIFFERENT STORY WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE. EACH TITLE WILL BE A NEW STORY. A STORY WITH MORE THEN ONE CHAPTER WILL HAVE NUMBERS IN PARENTHESIS AFTER THE TITLE.

There is no specific update day - I update when I wanna. Each story may/may not have a plot.

Hello! Welcome to short stories, Short stories is a collection of small unfinished book shorts that never really got expanded on because of writers block. If anyone wishes you can take a short story you read here and expand it into a bigger actual story. Short stories is composed of different authors stories, Authors are credited at the top of the story title which helps them get noticed if their short seems popular. In Isekai, technology sometimes does not matter.
the period of time is explained as follows:

Ancient Time:
In this time it is depicted in many wuxia, xianxia, and xuanhuan.
In general Spiritual energy and its variations is plenty.
An Era or several Era have passed is also acceptable.
Empires, Kingdoms, and Sects are common.

Examples of stories such as World of Cultivation, Battle through the Heavens.

Medieval Time:
Most stories focused on Knights and Magic are at this time.
Kingdoms are common while there will be a sole gigantic empire or 3 large empires
Demon lords threatening the world also comes in the Medieval Time.
Sects are mostly missing but replaced by academies.
Witches may commonly exist.
Commonly Humanoids vs Demons but also may include dwarves, elves, fairies, demi-humans, undead, and spirits.

Examples of stories such as Assasin's Chronicle, Soul of Searing Steel, Why Did You Summon Me? , Death Marching to the Parallel World Rhapsody, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.

Modern Time:
Stories that might be happening right now.
Technology can be advanced as 10 years but nor 50
An Example is flying cars that are considered futuristic, not modern unless magic is involved.

Examples are Peerless White Emperor, Cultivation Chat Group, and Returning from the Immortal World.

Post-Apocalypse:
The Zombie Apocalypse happens in this time a shift from the modern to Apocalypse which is mostly a short time period to Post-Apocalypse.
This time can also be the result of a nuclear fallout of countries.
Other reasons that result in the Post-Apocalypse scenario is a dimensional crack, a meteor shower that destroys a percentage of the population, mutations of living beings without order, invasions of aliens and a continental shift are some of the reasons of Post-Apocalypse.

Examples are Epoch of Twilight, Everyone Else is a Returnee and God and Devil World.

New Age:
When the modern age is considered as a faraway concept it is a new age where civilization experienced a turmoil such as a Post-Apocalypse Scenario and rebuilt civilization.

Examples are Battle Frenzy, Versatile Mage and Castle of Black Iron.

Futuristic Age:
It can come from Modern times or New Age.
Most Mech Stories fall in here.
Cybernetic enhancements and space travel are also included here
A governing body such as galactic federation may also be here.
Intergalactic Interspecies interactions are common.

Examples Gundam, Vandread and Galaxy Angels.

Virtual Reality:
A Person being transported to a game world.
A Person only playing a VR type of game mostly VRMMORPG.
Can share a time setting with Modern Time.
This is just here to say that the virtual world is another world.

Examples are Sword Art Online, MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary Guardian, Rise of the Undead Legion, Virtual World: Close Combat Mage, and Log Horizon.

Special Mention Realm Jumpers:
People who reincarnate or travel to other planes or dimensions.
May be classified in the protagonists' first world of adventure.
Cultivators who traveled from an ancient time setting without settling in or recultivate are not realm jumpers.

Examples are Carefree Path of Dreams and Mystical Journey.
