17 years later.....
        " Amaris get out of bed now,if you want us to make it to the airport on time ", Jadis yelled in the hallway while she carried her luggages down the stairs.
        " ok mum, I'm already up ", Amaris yelled back as she reluctantly got out of bed. she hadn't slept well the previous night or the last couple of nights, she's been having strange dreams of people in some strange land crying out to her to come save them and nightmares of some scary looking demon chasing her. she hadn't told Jadis about it but planned on telling her on the plane to Michigan.
        Amaris showered, she put on a black lace tank top over her blue pants that was ripped at her knee and wore her white vans. she tied her long wavy red hair into a ponytail and then she did light make up that accentuated her gray eyes and her plump pink lips. After dressing up, she picked up her traveling bag and box from the side of her bed and went down the stairs to meet Jadis.
        " Hey mum", Amaris says as she drops her bags next to Jadis' bags and goes to meet Jadis in the kitchen," good morning".
        " good morning darling", Jadis says as she pecks Amaris on the cheek," happy birthday", Jadis smiles as she reveals a small rectangular velvet box with a white ribbon on her right hand.
        " oh my goodness", Amaris squeals, "mum, thank you so much", she takes the box from Jadis and opens it revealing a silver necklace with a diamond moon shaped pendant," this is so beautiful mum, I love it", Amaris says as she hugs Jadis.
        " can you help me put it on", she hands the necklace over to Jadis, who helps her put it on, " you look so beautiful,we would have taken pictures if not that our flight is in one hour".
        " thank you so much mum", Amaris says as she hugs Jadis.
        " come on, let's get our things to the car and get to the airport before we miss our flight".
        " sure mum",... and with that Amaris and Jadis took their things to the car and drove to the airport.
 
on the plane...
        while on the plane, Amaris fell asleep and had one of her strange dreams. in this dream, she was in the same strange mystical place that she usually dreams about. it looked like they were in the medieval time, the houses were old and dark and there was a giant dark scary looking castle at the far end of the kingdom. the plants and trees were dead, the people there had gloomy faces, she tried talking to them but they wouldn't respond. then all of a sudden she appeared somewhere else, there was a blue spring there which was calming and beautiful, the sand was white as snow and the sky was dark sparkling blue and the stars looked like like kite shaped diamonds in the sky.
         "this place is so beautiful", Amaris whispered to herself as she looked around." where am I?" she thought to herself.
        All of a sudden, a bright light appeared in front of her,in the shape of a woman. 
        " who are you?" Amaris asked. instead of answering her questions a voice from the light said" it's time for you to come back home Amaris".
        " excuse me, what home and how do you know my name?" Amaris asked very confused.
        " you have to come back home", the voice kept on chanting, " come back home Amaris, your people need you".
        " ahh!", Amaris jolted from her seat as she woke up from her dream.
        " Amaris, are you alright?" Jadis asked trying to calm her down.
        " yh, I'm ok, I just had a strange dream"
        " strange dream?"
        " yh, I've been having them for a while now"
        " what are these strange dreams about?" Jadis asked very concerned.
        " well, in the dream, I see myself in some strange land, the buildings there are old and dark and there's a dark looking castle at the far end. The dreams are not always the same, sometimes the people there are begging and crying out to me to come save them and sometimes I have nightmares of some scary looking demon chasing me and when it's about to attack me,I wake up"
        " what! why didn't you tell me all this", Jadis half-screamed 
        " because i didn't want you to get worried or stressed out, and I didn't think it meant anything serious. I thought it was just those normal nightmares that people have until it started coming frequently and I didn't know how to tell you until today"
        " it's okay, but don't ever keep something like this from me again", Jadis say's as she rubs Amaris arm. "... and don't worry about those dreams darling, I'm going to help find the meaning of the dreams" she says as she pecks Amaris on her head.
        " ok mum"

Amaris finds out on her seventeen birthday, that she is no ordinary human nor human at all but a long lost supernatural Princess from another world who must come back home and save her people from an evil being that enslaves them.
Before Amaris can do this, she has to awaken her sleeping powers, meets people who are going to be of great help along the way, uncovers secrets and finds herself.


will she be able to defeat the evil or will it consume her?

Some memories get lost in those Dreams. 

I once read a book, forgot who the author was, but he said that Dreams are formed by one's insecurities, perfection, fears, hopes. The list kept on going until he paused and stated that 'A dream is another world that exists in the mind. Which has its own creations and flaws and one can't in no way control nor plan it. 

 Dreams are sometimes formed by predetermined thoughts. There are connected to the inner voice that one hears when reading a text. 

The mind is built on knowledge and wisdom being the structural steel that keeps it balanced. For knowledge alone can be unhealthy and some might say unbearable. Self-communication helps you to further understand the inner deeper meaning of your existence. Paying attention to every detailed message even if it seems to be unrelated to your prior goal motives triggers a form of hidden message. And when one learns to translate those messages and fully understand the meaning within them. They will tend to view the world in a more spiritual way rather than physical which in a way is a preparation for the unknown 

﻿The mind can be a scary place at times. For those tunnels lead to different destinations and from each path, there is a hump of some sort. I believe true growth lays within discovering your own self for it sure is easy to cling on someone and feel as if you've maintained a form of growth just to, later on, learn it wasn't yours. 

A man does a good deed and keeps on doing good because it makes him feel good. Let us say he was to feel bad for doing good, would he keep on doing good? Or would he simply invest his efforts elsewhere? 

Intentions set apart from what's good and what's bad. So if one feels bad for doing good then it means they did it for the wrong reasons and doing the right thing in a wrong way makes it a wrong thing. So to answer: he should invest in guiding his intentions. 

"Every question has an answer, it's either you don't ask it or you choose to ignore the response because it does not satisfy your desired thirst. 

 That is why the mind has a wide range of responses, it gives you a choice to choose which voice or response best suits you. 

Heart of Mind.

David was a sad champ, a mess, and an academic genius. By genius, I mean an A+, no effort type of a genius. He is that child that every parent kneels and prays to God to have. You know them, those that society admires. And are held closest to heart.

Looking into the sky Adalish seemed to be under a powerful spell, his eyes seemingly without any emotion. It was the beginning of the cold winter days. 

With him standing right there in the middle of the quiet street, in thick coat of fur and scarf swung around his neck, he spoke softly, "Was every winter this colourless?" turning his back to the dark street, he walked right back into the school like building complex behind him.

Adalish was your average of the mile university student with little brain and big confidence. However all of that changed after waking up from a long night of drinking and partying.

Because when he left his apartment to go to classes, he noticed that there was nothing as he remembered it to be. The always busy streets were utterly deserted by any live, the noises of laughing, crying and talking just vanished and in its place was darkness and a deep voice who asked him only one question.

"Do you truly want to do what you want to do? Answer!"

At that time Adalish didn't really know the meaning of the voices words, that's why in his confidence and foolishness, he answered with an open heart.

"Of course I want!"

"Then I will grant you what you desire. Power unimaginable to others! But, remember you're forbidden to intervene! 3 days I give you! Prepare for eternal farewell… forbidden… forbi…!" 

Like a broken recorder the word was constantly repeated in the steep darkness, giving Adalish a bad premonition. When the voice finally vanished he found himself back in his apartment sweat covered.

"3 days?" He muttered to himself, half doubting and half believing.

He often had dreams with some of them being realistic enough to make him doubt the reality, however deep in his heat he always knew they were just dreams.

Yet this time it was different from the many times before, this time he honestly couldn't differentiate between the two.

"Can't change it, then why bother thinking about it I wouldn't find the answer anyway. 3 days it said, right? Then I will find out soon enough." Finding it useless to waste any more time, Adalish stood up and casually prepared himself for university.

Nothing special happened over the following 2 days while he went to university, partied, came home and slept, but on the third day as he lied in stupor on his bed from drinking, something did eventually happen. Had he not already forgotten about his oddly realistic and scary dream, he might have reconsidered drinking this much, sadly he wasn't the kind of person who took life that seriously.

He was just like everyone else at that age, trying to hide their wounds with woman, drinking casual and distant attitudes.

"…My time is over," a man appearing at the side of Adalish spoke, his voice sounding quite familiar "…now I give you a chance, what you do out of it depends on no one but you. There will be dangers but also possibilities. Maybe you can be a better Shepheard than me..." 
vanishing from the spot he stood his words echoed through the room one last time "My son, I am sorry."


Not a second has gone past that the voice had vanished, when Adalish suddenly awakened from his deep sleep. "A Nightmare again?" Muttering, suspicion began to fill him as he eyed his surroundings.

His surroundings seemed weird and different, he was outside on a green meadow with the sun already shinning high in the sky. Normally he would have long woken up by such brightness, coldness and uncomfortableness. Yet here he was still lying comfortably on the ground just moments ago.

'Where is this? Did I drink that much?' Thinking that he might have gone lost while drinking too much with his friends, Adalish cramped through the pieces of memories that he could still find in him. 

"No way, I was still in the middle of Tokyo and I remember buying a corn dog at 7Eleven before heading up in the apartment! The trains already stopped driving so I couldn't have left to go somewhere even if I wanted." But as if to tell him something important, he remembered a voice whispering in his ears while asleep.

… Dangers but also Possibilities. …

What was the meaning of it? And why was this memory so calming, making him completely calm in a situation where he should normally panic while trying to find as fast as possible the nearest place for help.

Somehow, the words with unknown meaning started to slowly make sense as more and more puzzles started to come together in his mind.

The mysterious disappearance of his Father and his last words,  the dream in which he couldn't distinguish real from false, the dreams about another world full of supernatural things and many other memories from his past slowly fit together.

Thinks that didn't add up, slowly began to merge in his mind and make sense and when all of that ended a sound similar to something breaking was heard deep in his consciousness, as if a seal that was holding something was finally broken through.

"So that what happened…" As the realization hit Adalish, the beginning of his story was also about to begin.

With his long lost fathers inheritance, he brings a tower into the universe, a tower to make you climb, a tower where possibilities and dangers intervene!

Seemingly a God, Devil, Dungeon Master or a simple climber. He controls our fate. Want or not, we have no choice, we have to follow his twisted ideology on his path!

Wyn has never enjoyed the smell of a clinic. He hates the smells of sickness and drugs, of tears and sad people. He hates the smell of psychiatry clinics despite it not being a medical clinic. He hates the smell of disinfectant and alcohol rubs, and he especially hates the smell of the clean, white robes that doctors always wear. It is a pet peeve of Wyn's that he can't quite explain. He simply hates it.
It was the smell of disinfectant that greeted him when he stepped into the psychiatry clinic with Robin. He scrunched up his nose in irritation at the smell as his psychiatrist greeted him with a smile.
"Look who it is," Eve grinned as Wyn and Robin entered her office. "I haven't seen you in a while, Wyn."
Eve is an older woman. Her dark brown hair that is always tied up in a ponytail matches her round and brown spectacles that perches on the tip of her nose. Her big, blue eyes are soft and kind, allowing her patients to feel comfortable and relaxed in her presence. Wyn, however, is not one of those patients.
He hates being treated. He hates discussing his depression with anyone and he hates the hypnotism that Eve puts him under, but today, Wyn has no choice but to go along with it. Though he had lost his inspiration to continue his web comic series, he still cared about the stories that he had written and drawn. They were the result of years of painstaking effort, and Wyn could throw everything away, his fame, his fortune and his relationships, but not his stories. It is the one thing in the world he cares about. Fairytale Town belongs to him, and the last thing he would want is to have his copyright snatched away.
Wyn moved to the soft, white leather massage chair in Eve's office, settled down and closed his eyes without a word.
"Excuse him," Robin said. "He has no manners."
"It's okay," Eve nodded her head. "What matters is you're here now," she looked at Wyn.
She obtained a notepad and a pen from her office table and proceeded to take a seat on the marble chair next to the massage chair. As Eve scribbled something on her notepad, Robin took a seat at the white leather couch at the side of the office.
"Tell me, Wyn, how are you feeling?" Eve asked gently.
"Annoyed."
"I can tell you're pretty tense," Eve lowered her voice into a soothing whisper. "Now, before we begin the hypnosis, let your mind relax. Don't think about anything at all. Focus on my voice…"
Though Wyn hated visiting the psychiatrist, it would be a lie to say that Eve's tender voice did not soothe him. He liked her light, pleasant voice, but hated the fact that he had to share his personal stories and dreams with a stranger he did not trust.
"Now, as you listen to my voice, you're going to fall into a deep slumber…"
As Eve hypnotised him, Wyn's mind travelled away to a faraway land. In an instant, the idyllic island that always appeared in Wyn's dreams appeared in his mind. He could see the blue, crashing waves, the golden brown sand and the big, willow trees. He could see the colourful shophouses, the glittering blue dust in the air and the magnificent castle above the clouds. These images were all too familiar to him. They appeared in his dreams at random and have been for as long as he could remember. The island would appear in his dreams with several blurred figures. There would always be two girls and one man. Sometimes, there would also be an old man in his dreams. However, he could only see their faint silhouettes in his dreams, and no matter the amount of hypnotism that he underwent, he could never see the faces of the people in his dreams. On some days, the dreams of the island would be pleasant and happy. On other days, the dreams of the island would be dark and scary. The dreams would repeat at random. Sometimes, the dreams would recur for days or weeks. Sometimes, new dreams in the same island with the same people but in a different context would come to him.
Wyn have always wondered what this island and the people in his dreams mean to him.
He does not know why these dreams constantly come to him. For a period of time, Wyn was determined to discover the meaning behind his dreams for it was not normal. But after a while of searching and discovering nothing useful that could point to why he was having these strange dreams, he gave up. Even Eve, his psychiatrist that the company had hired for him, could not get to the bottom of these odd dreams. The only thing she could do is to help Wyn remember his dreams vividly through hypnotism.
"What do you see, Wyn?"
"I see…" Wyn found himself in a pub in the island. It was a lively pub with a huge crowd who appeared to be celebrating something. "I see a pub. I see drinks."
In Eve's office, Robin scoffed. "The guy is thinking about drinks even in his dreams. How fitting."
Eve shushed Robin with a frown before focusing her attention back on Wyn. "What is happening in the pub? What are you doing there?"
"I have a drink in my hands," Wyn depicted what he saw. "There are three people seated with me…" Wyn recognised them as the two girls and one man who always appeared in his dreams. "I think…I think I'm happy."
Wyn's brows furrowed as the dream continued in his mind. This particular dream was a cheerful one. The people in his dream chatted, smiled and laughed at each other. Suddenly, a beer mug fell to the ground and shattered into pieces. The dream changed. Darkness enveloped him. The atmosphere was now tense and scary. Wyn was confused. He saw a blur of different people and situations in front of him. He could not make out what it was, but he knew the dream was no longer happy.
Gone were the smiles and laughter. Tears, screams and shouts pierced through his ear. A throbbing pain made its way into Wyn's mind and he popped his eyes open…
Wyn's body ached terribly. As he slowly regained his consciousness and the feeling in his limbs, he could feel thick, grainy sand against his bare skin and sharp, spiky objects poking at his back. The sound of tranquil waves and seagulls screeching reached his ears as his eyes fluttered open steadily. His vision was blurry, but he could make out the outline of the azure sky, the fluffy white clouds, and the shrieking seagulls above him. He pulled himself up slowly, using any energy he had left in him to bring himself forward.
He rubbed his eyes, but his vision was hazy. Even so, he could see the pale blur of cascading waves crashing to shore in front of him. He realised he was at a beach, and all of a sudden, the memories of the previous night returned to him. He remembered how he stole the tickets to the Promised Land. He recalled his enthusiasm and excitement of leaving Springton, only for his hopes and dreams to be crushed in the terrifying moment when he was thrown overboard into the deep, dark ocean. As his eyes travelled across the hazy beach, he wondered where he was and how he survived. Before he could figure out an answer to his queries, his eyes landed on a faint silhouette of a girl. Several feet away from where he sat, he could make out a hazy figure of a girl with long, wavy black hair who was tending to a warm fire that Wyn did not realise was near him until he saw it.
The girl turned around promptly at Wyn's gaze, as if she knew that he was staring at her. Wyn watched with blurred vision as the girl approached him. His cloudy eyesight prevented him from recognising her features, but he could hear her voice.
"You're awake," the girl's voice was soft and gentle. She crouched down to meet
Wyn's eye-level. "How are you feeling?"
Wyn stared at the girl. As he opened his mouth, ready to speak, he suddenly felt a throbbing pain in his head. His eyes shut in pain and he squeezed his head with his right hand tightly, desperately trying to stop the discomfort in his head.
"Are you alright? What's happening?"
The girl's kind voice was the last thing Wyn heard before he felt his mind go blank. In an instant, his hand dropped to his side and his back fell towards the sand and the tiny rocks behind him with a light thud. Once again, he slipped into unconsciousness, leaving the mysterious girl crouching over his body…

Lunars POV - 4 years old
I fell asleep and woke up in a big empty room. Do most four-year-olds dream of this? I see one other person with me. Brown hair, darkish skin and as confused as I was. I walk over to him and sit next to him. "Hi! I'm Luna!" I introduce myself. "... Felix." He trails off, his eyes widened when he looked forwards. I try to see what he's looking at, to see a tall woman, dressed in all white. "Children? Interesting, most dream-watchers are only chosen above the age of 8, you two are very special indeed"
We both look at her confused. "Oh right! Hello children, I am the peace-maker, guardian of the balance in the world", I look at her with admiration, Felix was calm the whole time. "You are currently in the dream realm, it seems you two have been chosen to protect dreams and nightmares." "Nightmares?" Felix questioned the peace-maker. "Yes, nightmares too, not all nightmares are completely evil." We look at her with shock. "Nightmares are bad though! They're scary and mean!" I stand up to her with disbelief. I am much shorter than her though, maybe below her knee cap. 
"Ah, you must be the dream-watcher, then little one" She crouches down to look at me, before passing a white orb to me. "Touch this for me, if you will?" I press on it, and it turns to gold. My face lights up as a story plays in the orb. It looked like a dream. "Ah, so you are Luna, right? Luna, You can turn nightmares to dreams, meaning you should protect these dreams from wrongly given nightmares." I hold the dream and nod. I sit back down, all too excited to see what Felix could do.
"And Felix, that must mean you're a night-watcher. If you hold on a white or gold orb, it can turn purple. This is a nightmare." He looks startled. "But why would I do that? That's mean!" He looks down. "Not all nightmares are bad little one, if someone were planning to hurt another person, you could give them a nightmare, then the person who they were planning to hurt wouldn't get hurt." He nods slowly, he seems overwhelmed by the idea of controlling nightmares, but I was also still slightly overwhelmed by the idea of controlling dreams as well, so that makes sense.
Lunars POV - 7 years old
I wake up in the dream realm. My dream-watcher outfit looks cooler every year. It looks like armour but feels light in away. It was mostly white, with golden details on almost every edge, as well as some plain black pants, I needed to be able to walk around comfortably. I walk over to Felix, who was reading a book. His outfit was an inverted version of mine, black with purple details, but yet still chose to have ordinary black pants. "What are you reading today?" "Science fiction" He was a bit of a nerd, but a love-able nerd none-the-less.
I look up to see a wall of nightmares. "You really had to make this hard for me, didn't you?" He looks up from his book and turns to the wall. "Sorry, they were calling out to me again." He looks down. "It's alright! Got any cookies?" His face lights up as he passes me a cookie from the stash we found in a kids dream. "Thanks! Well, meet up later?" He nods. It's been a while since we spent a whole day together, but I had to start taking this job more seriously. 
I sit at the dream lake and start transforming nightmares to dreams. I hear Felix cry out, And I run to him. He had accidentally held onto a nightmare for too long. Black liquid flows from his eyes, and he slowly turns to a nightmare, looking nothing like the Felix I knew.  I quickly turn his nightmare back to a dream, and He transforms back. He looks terrified, I hug him as he started crying. That was corrupted Felix, if either of us held onto a nightmare for too long, our own dreams would turn to a nightmare, and result in in...that.
I've never done that, but I have seen glimpses of myself like that before, It feels painful, you feel angry and sad, and scared, and all negative emotions. It was like you had no control over yourself, no choice but to feel awful about everything. I don't like the thought of it, neither does Felix, Why would the peace-maker make that possible? Neither of us gets it, it's an awful thing to happen to a person. we stay hugging for a while before I have to go back to take care of the dreams. I feel so bad for him, But I just hope it doesn't happen again.

        By the door, Kayla had left me a pile of clothes, as promised. It felt nice to finally be in something dry, and the warmth of our apartment made me want to roll up and watch a movie. Clattering and soft music flowed from the kitchen, and I watched from the walkway as she hummed to herself. 
        Today was a good kind of not good day. It was not a perfect description, but after being in the rain- the biting torrents that stung my veins like fire- I was here. I was every bit in the present that I wanted to be. 
        "Typha." The look on Kayla's face caused my throat to dry. Did I do something wrong? She looks like she could murder me right now.
        "What took you so long? Did you die and come back to life?" Maybe I shouldn't have laughed at her rhetorical question when her gaze could dice and splice me into slivers. 
        "I wasn't even gone that long...?" The upturn of my voice took away the validity and strength I had in my statement. "I was only gone for two hours tops-"
        "Five hours Ty. Five. Hours." A small frown creased my brow at how condescending she was being; I didn't need her to stress each word like I was some second grader. I shook my head and let out a breath.
        "Do you always want to be angry at me now? Cus this isn't funny. I wasn't gone that long-"
        "Ty. I care for you, but you are so OUT of it." She pulled her hair up into a ponytail and motioned towards the clock on the stove. 
        "You told me that your appointment ended at 9 AM. If it was two hours, you would have been home by noon-ish. Look at the time Ty." I rolled my eyes. 
        "I didn't fall asleep. Can we please, please," My hand rubbed my temples tenderly. This... I was so awake, and now I feel myself sinking back all over again. "Maybe not do this today? Please?"
        Looking at my face, she let out a heavy sigh and set down her chopping knife. Shock sparked across my face as she buried her face in my shoulder, her arms holding me tightly.
        "I thought you were the one who said that ignoring your problems wouldn't make them go away?"
        "Touché " I wrapped my arms around her and let everything from today go. "I'm just feeling good today, and I don't want anything to get in the way of it. Just for one day, I wanna pretend that all of this is real."
        "We can do that then- just for one day." A laugh barked from me at her muffled voice through my shirt. She stepped back and picked up the knife again, cutting tomatoes precisely. 
        "What do you wanna do tonight? Anything you want." It was my timid attempt at starting things over. Nothing spoke but the voice of her knife meeting the cutting board, and the soft gurgle of water beginning to boil.
        "Let's watch a horror movie? Something like that sounds good today." I nodded in agreement. While she cooked I set up the coffee table with mats and coasters for our drinks. Once dinner was ready, I started to dish out the food as she picked through amazon for a good movie neither of us have seen. After searching for too long, she finally decided on a classic 'evil creature vs a group of stupid teenagers' type film. For having such a basic plot, I was surprised by how decent the jump-scares and plot twists were. Their creativity made up for the cliched areas of the movie. 
        Perhaps Kayla made the wrong choice for watching a scary movie when it was dark and storming outside. My left arm was almost turning purple from how tightly she was gripping me, but I didn't really mind it. Watching the movie, the creatures didn't compare to what I had seen- the fantastical creatures of my dreams. In the movie, the creatures didn't necessarily eat people; the only motivation they seemed to have was... that they were the 'horrible' monsters of the movie.
        The thought made me chuckle a bit. And they were too beautiful to be monsters. They were not magnificent by human standards- I guess what I meant to say was that they could easily be docile, if the movie wrote them to be docile. They were scary, but the type of scary you almost wished was real, just so you could fix them. Make them into beautiful monsters, make them into gorgeous catastrophes. Maybe that was the allure of helping people sometimes.
        I cast a shielded glance to Kayla, her eyes completely focused on the TV. Did she think of me like that? The basic orphan story, my deteriorating mental health? I threw the thought away. The way she was clinging onto me right now, I could make a timid conjecture that she cared for me more than my problems. Her warm body leaned into mine as the suspense began to build, and I turned my attention back to the movie.
        I wished I could always be here for her like this. An arm to hold onto when she needed me, not the other way around. A minuscule sigh slithered through my teeth. The wolf-looking creature growled lowly, blood dripping from its long titanium fangs. Our speakers shook as it took in a deep, shuttering breath before it stood back on its legs, about to pounce. 
        I'll go see the Stevenstons. 
        The creature jumped down onto the teenager, and it seemed like the beast had won. Was it supposed to be surprising when it was revealed the teenager had impaled it? Barely saving his own life? Kayla let out a small noise and sat up, coming back to reality as the credits dripped down the screen.
        "Did you like it?" I asked her. She rubbed her face, her cheeks flushed.
         "Yea," Her voice was just slightly fractured.
        "Do you think you're gonna have nightmares?" The jab landed well, her mouth opening in objection.
        "Well- it was scary!! I don't know how you didn't jump at all- and there was so much blood and gore," she made a disgusted face. "I know it was fake but still."
        "Mmhmm." A slap to my arm made me laugh loudly. Oh to be so easily teased, my mind smiled.
        "But yes," She admitted. "That creature- it's eyes- it was so mangled looking. It was like if a dog had been chopped up with a blender- god I don't even want to think about it."
        Seeing the crease in her brow, I poked her cheek lightly. 
        "Wussy."
         "Oh my god I hate you." My smile began to hurt my cheeks. Getting up, I cleared the plates and started to turn the lights off for her to go to bed. She was still on a normal sleeping schedule, and I tried to keep everything else on that schedule too.
        "Are you going to stay up for awhile longer?" It was one of those questions that reminded me of high school. There was a time where we weren't so different. She had her hair died blonde back then; she liked changing things constantly. It was honestly a surprise of what she would look like each day, and I was impressed by it. Change always felt so uncomfortable to me, and to her, it was addictive. 
        "Yea, I'm gonna be up for awhile." She pretended to nod thoughtfully, even though she already knew what she was going to ask. 
        "Do you think I could spend the night in your room?"
        I held my chin thoughtfully.
        "I'll have to ask my manager, we only accept reservations." At her hand smacking her forehead dramatically, I caved in.
        "Sure," I started. "I just don't wanna bother you if at some point I fall asleep and talk or whatever else." Her eye peeked out from between her fingers.
        "Maybe it'll help both of us- who knows?" Who knows? Her philosophy sounded very academically concrete. 
        "I won't argue with a professional." Compliments always lit up her face. Her teeth flashed slightly, and her eyes softened. At that she got up and we both headed to our rooms. Returning with her own pillow, I grabbed us some new blankets and let her choose her side of the bed. 
        Though she needed to sleep, we both found it irresistible to not talk for a little bit. Our chatter was random and soft, but it was nice. We each settled down into the blankets, and when she finally decided to succumb to her much needed rest, I reached over and turned off the light. 
        After a matter of only 15 minutes, she was peacefully asleep. Wonder danced across my mind of what she dreamed of- what her dreamland had to offer. My mind conjured up guesses of random dreams with no meaning- like spilling a bag of tea cups, or riding a horse down a busy highway. Maybe her dreams were little glimpses into her goals- a house, someone to be loved by, romantic moments. If her dreams were based in the past like mine, I assumed that maybe they were childhood utterances; complete with people of the past clashing with the new 'you'- the you which had changed while your memories hadn't. 
        As I stared blankly at my ceiling, my room felt void when I realized I had left my backpack and notebook in my car. I wanted to flip through the pictures again, maybe just to re-feel the warmth they gave me for a moment. My mind wandered back to the Stevensons; how autumn break was just around the corner. It would be a good time to go back.
        Emptiness- hesitation. The voice hummed quietly, and I covered my eyes with my arm. Everything felt so wrong. Each scuff on the wall, each particle of dust waltzing through the air. The blood pulsing between my ears- the shake of each inhale and exhale. 
        The movie replayed for a little bit behind my eyes- looping back to the creatures. The voice murmured making monsters beautiful was something too human. Something naively weak and open-hearted. Nobody wanted to take a giant squid and offer it kindness, nobody would want to sit outside a boar's den to offer it company. 
        The creatures- the deadly ones. Perhaps the only way to be unafraid of them was to be more deadly. To have seen more destruction than they are capable- to understand why they do it, and side with them. Side- are there sides? The teenagers vs the monsters? 
        I closed my eyes and let out a tired breath. There's an excess of teenagers anyway.

Kaili was at the kitchen.Its been a whole week that she was staying at Mrs Ning's place.In this time,still there was no development in her memory.She still cant remember anything and all that she was experiencing was some weird dreams that probably had no meaning.
But in these days,she got a good impression about Mrs Ning.She was sure about one thing that Mrs Ning is a very kind woman and she was safe with her.Otherwise who would be willing to take care of someone in this days without any benefit.She was trying hard to remember about her past.But there was of no use.And the worst thing was,the dreams she was experiencing was increasing her anxiety.They seemed to be very real as if they are not just dreams.In Fact all are happening in reality…..
She was washing dishes.She was about to close the running water tap.But suddenly she felt her front view started changing.
In a blink the familiar kitchen changed into some other place.She felt she was now in an unknown place.May be an apartment room.
She tried to scream but couldn't.Everything seemed to be very real.And the next thing she saw that made her horrified.
A leopard!!!
A huge leopard and in front of it there was a middle aged man.He was trembling in fear and his eyes seemed to have popped out.He didn't notice Kaili at all.He was pleading for his life to that leopard as if it could understand his words.
The next second,it jumped on him and in a blink it separated his head from his body….The man fell on the ground lifeless…
Kaili was about to scream in horror.But she again suddenly saw everything was alright amd she was still in the kitchen.And she didn't close the tap yet.Thats mean she was watching a dream again.She let out a sigh.Now a days she was very exhausted because of these weird and scary dreams.
She felt someone was standing behind her.She turned her neck to see that person and almost jumped to see.
Wang Wei!!!
What's he doing here suddenly!!And it's been a whole week he didn't come here.And also she was not really a great fan of him.And no need to mention that was because of his hot temper and strange attitude..
"Young master…"She gulped in nervous.She was now feeling tensed that maybe Wang Wei was going to scold her without any reason.
Wang Wei didn't say anything just kept staring at her face.
Kaili became slightly confused.She touched her face to feel if there was something on her face.
" Do you want anything?"She asked.
Wang Wei averted his gaze from her and said vacantly,
"Can you make me a cup of coffee?"
Kaili tried to smile.
"Yes,sure.Why not." She made her way to the coffee maker and started making coffee.
Surprisingly Wang Wei didn't leave.He was watching her at the kitchen instead of leaving.Kaili could feel the pair of grey eyes on her.She felt slightly uncomfortable.
She gave him a cup of coffee after she was done and about to leave the kitchen then just at the moment,Wang Wei asked her from behind,
"Did you remember anything?"
Kaili turned back to him.
"No…"She sadly smiled.
Wang Wei didn't answer.He just sipped from his coffee mug...

At night,
Mrs Ning,Wang Wei and Kaili were present at the dinner table.
Wang Lei was not present with them.Sometimes he stays with his mother.Besides he has his own separate apartment where he normally stays.
" So..May I know the greatest cause why suddenly you decided to stay tonight?"Mrs Ning asked with a grin over her face.
Wang Wei gave her an annoyed look.
"Mom...You are being really silly.Do I even need to have any cause to stay at your place?" He asked.
Mrs Ning cleared her throat.
"You never stay at my place for more than hours."
Wang Wei ignored her.What Mrs Ning just said was true.He actually came here to check the girl.He still had doubt about her.What if she was not that genuine that she seemed to be from outside.It could be possible that she was just pretending.
Kaili was silent in their whole conversation.She was full.She took her plate and was heading toward the kitchen.And for the whole week,she was just washing the dishes.Mrs Ning actually didn't let her do anything.After insisting so much Mrs Ning allowed her to do this.So it was being quite hard for her to pass all the day doing nothing.
She was walking toward the kitchen.But there something on the floor that she didn't notice at all.As a result she was about to fall.She closed her eyes and was waiting for the intense pain but that didn't come actually.
A strong pair of hands already caught her in his arms before she fell.
Kaili opened her eyes…
She was in Wang Wei's arms,very close to him….


"Do you think you can escape?"

She stared at the person with horror.She was feeling very miserable that the person she was hiding from,she would find out about him like this.Every nerve on her body was warning her to run away from there.

The person chuckled.
"I know what's in your mind.Don't even try to do this!!!"

Her eyes lit up in anger.
"Do you think I will give up, if a devil like you threat me?"

Her words left a devilish grin on his perfectly symmetrical handsome face whose one glimpse was enough to capture any woman's mind and body.

She suddenly lifted a vase that was in her range and was about to smash on his head,but before she could do that he caught her hands and pulled her to himself, capturing her through his body which was huge and very masculine compared to her tiny frame.

"Devil or God whoever decides to save you,unfortunately it is impossible.Because I am your fate and no one can save you from me…." He mumbled in her ear.

Going around the room back and forth, having stress and having problems knowing who are who and what is what. I go to my bed take a deep nap but wake up after a while.
Mark who's my new roommate who just moved in last week told me about using a sleeping spell he says works and helps people sleep by dreaming.
I didn't really have any other choice but to use it, he hands me the spell on a paper and goes back to what he was doing, which was jerking off.
I use the spell,
 " DRAMO" 

Run Alex run, I run away from the dragon behind me following both me and John, we then split into two side, the dragon follows me and John jumps above its head and knocks it down
" We did it" I said happily.
"Yeah we" said John. 
" John are you okay ?" I asked, he seemed off like he was frozen. 
I look around me and find everything frozen, nothin moving, I then smiled and remembered that I used a spell for me to sleep, so that made me calm.
I then hear a voice in my head, telling me that it's waiting for me,
" who's this ?" I asked.
Smoke then appears in front of me and all of a sudden I fall down into a hole. I hit my head on the surface and looked up, I find this gorgeous looking human. 
"I'm not a human" she said.
" wait you can read my mind ?" I said.
Yeah she said, apparently.
"So why am I here?" I asked. 
" well it's hard to say this but it seems really hard to have a dream for you" she said. 
"Wait are you dreamer?" I asked. 
"Yeah, I create dreams and give them for all of y'all to see when asleep, but for the past while it's been hard for me to send any for you, so I thought maybe it's time for me to have a chat with you" said the dreamer.
We talked a lot, it felt like it was hours and going. She asked about what I liked, started looking into my life and understanding me.
" can I ask something?" I asked.
"Yes" she replied.
" who am I?, and why is my life like this?" 
She looked at me, she went from smiling to depressed mood. It looked scary looking at her, she gave me a scary vibe.
" Alex, you are someone that is strong, never gives up, but the world is dangerous, and knowing ur past is far more scary than you would think, it's for the best that you forget about it and think of your new life, and trust me when I say, not everyone is a good person, and start with John, he's the only one you can trust now" she replied.
That answer she gave me made me feel like a murderer, like I'm a dangerous person to be with.
" wait how do you know John?" I said confusingly, I never talked about him making it very suspicious.
" I know everything" she replied. 
Then everything went blank, I open my eyes and look around me, I'm in my dorm room, it sunny, I look at the clock and it's 6:50am.
I get up and get ready for my day, I take a shower and put on my clothes to go and check on Jake, I get out the dorm and go to Jakes dorm room, I see lux and John in there, I get in.
" hey, how are y'all doing" I said.
"We all good, Jake  is getting better" said John.
"Great!!!!" I replied.
We sit and gossip about what we are going to do when Jake is all good to leave his room and use magic again.
" hey how about we go on a walk?" Said Jake.
" You know you can't walk right ?, your badly injured Jake" said lux.
"How about someone rolls me on the wheel?" Said Jake.
"I'll do it " I replied. 
We get ready and put Jake on the wheelchair, I start pushing and we leave the dorm room, we go out side to the garden area when we start talking normally like nothin is happening. We walk and walk until something happened, something not usual. An earthquake happens, which was very weird, earthquakes never happen in the academy, as it's a magical place filled with only magic and no core or anything else. We rush to the food court when hearing the bell sound, 3 bells meaning emergency intrusion. We rushed there and waited for everyone to come. The principal Cage locks us up and tells us to be quite, misses Martha curses the doors with poisons ivy. We stay and wait, but nothin was heard, I look around me and everyone was worried, mostly principal Cage. 
After a while we hear screams on the other side of the door, a call for help, some students try to reach and open the door while misses Martha tries to warn them and Tell them it a a trap for murder.
