200 years ago man created the greatest AI known but this Machine eventually grew a mind of its own and evetually it's own body, it rose up with others like it against the human race this battle went on for about 20 years and nature and most resources were dieing off cause of the continuing battles but the final battle it released a large blast but is wasn't a bomb it was something else entirely, the machines had something hidden down their main base, something that wasn't human or machine something not of this earth, the blast brought back nature it changed it along with the humans and Machines closes to the blast.....both of them went a evolution of some sorts and because of this both sides where able to form a peace ending the war



Lia Giles became a border guard and mechanic for the power lines on the in between of the main city and the unearthly forests, no longer being able to stand living in the high technology world where humans are treated like second class citizens. On one of her patrols she discovers something or more like someone that no one has ever seen before.

No one could prove that a parallel universe existed. If something was unprovable or could not be validated, as long as one believed in its existence, it would exist. Therefore, there could be one such universe where Earth was safe, and Tang Yue and Mai Dong were able to lead a peaceful and happy life.
That was what Tomcat said.
It also said that if there were really an infinite number of parallel universes, not only would Tang Yue and Mai Dong encounter each other once, they would encounter each other across the time at every Planck second.
"Then… Will they have kids?" Mai Dong asked softly.
"If your reproductive abilities are normal, you will clearly have children."
"It's not us…" Mai Dong corrected, trying hard to maintain her tone. After all, no one could see her face flushed red in the space station. "It's them."
"They are you," Tomcat corrected.
"Then… How many children will they have?"
"How many children do you wish to have?" Tomcat asked.
"I already said it's them! Them, not us!" Mai Dong took off her helmet and buried her head in her spacesuit. Her cheeks were burning in the cold air.
Tomcat was baffled.

"Alright, then how many children do the Mai Dongs want to have? Miss Mai Dong, as their representative, please answer the question." Tomcat changed the way it asked.
"Two, a boy and a girl," Mai Dong replied. "It's best if the boy is the older one. That way, he can protect his younger sister. The other way works too actually… But an elder sister will bully her younger brother."
Tang Yue sat by the side sneering.

It was clear that Mai Dong had never had an elder brother.

Tang Yue was alarmed by the various symbols and Greek letters on the screen.
"Why aren't you getting the workstation to do the calculation?" As Tang Yue asked, he took out a stack of scrap paper. "It'd be done with a simple tap of the keyboard."
"Because I don't trust it." Tomcat bent over and continued working. "This workstation has been having problems recently. It keeps giving me erroneous results. It's more stupid than you."
"I'll ignore that last line. You want me to calculate something so complicated with pen and paper…" Tang Yue uncapped his pen and scanned the screen of equations. "If you want me dead, you can just stab me with a knife."
"Oppenheimer also used pen and paper when he calculated the critical mass needed for the uranium fuel back then."
"That's Oppenheimer!"
"But you are standing on the shoulders of giants."
"It doesn't mean I'll be taller than giants by standing on their shoulders." Tang Yue copied down the screen of equations and slowly began doing the math. Although the equations were complicated, they weren't anything that tested his intellect. All he needed to do was some matrix transformations. It didn't require more than college mathematics. It was just hard work."
"Speaking of which, I'm suddenly reminded of an old Soviet joke. It says that hell has a rule. Whoever kills the innocent will be drowned by the victim's blood in hell. One day, God was inspecting hell and found that blood was only reaching Beria's legs. God was curious and asked Beria why the blood only reached his legs despite him killing so many people back when he was alive. Beria replied…"
"Attitude equations of motion." Tomcat sent him another set of equations and glanced at him. "Take note that q is a quaternion."
"They are Euler parameters, right? Got it." Tang Yue nodded. "Let's continue that joke. God was curious and asked Beria why the blood only reached his legs despite him killing so many people back when he was alive. Beria replied…"
"Here are two results of the simulation. The first one ignores the effect the flexibility of the solar panels has on the spacecraft. The second result considers the effect." Tomcat sent another large chunk of terrifying math and diagrams.
"Why are you sending me this?"
Tang Yue widened his eyes.
"Check it through. See if there are any problems."
"Buddy ol' Pal, the problem is that I don't understand any of this. Are you taking me as Ramanujan… A master who didn't receive any formal training in mathematics?" Tang Yue scrolled through the document and frowned. Continuing the calculations, he said, "Let's continue the joke. Beria replied…"
"It's because I'm standing on the shoulders of Stalin." Tomcat shook its head. "Why do you insist on telling me that? This old political joke's age is about as old as your grandfather."
Tang Yue was taken aback. "What? Standing on Stalin's shoulders?"
Tomcat was surprised. "Isn't it?"
"No." Tang Yue shook his head. "Beria replied that it's because anti-coagulating agents weren't added to the blood. Therefore, he was standing on hard blood cells, and all God could see was the top layer of blood serum. This was a joke from my biology teacher in secondary school. He was giving a lesson on blood and serum."

"Listen up. This is the plan. It's the rendezvous with a non-cooperating party and docking method, as well as the steps needed for the control. We all know that the United Space Station is completely out of control. Under such circumstances, a direct docking is no doubt extremely difficult." Tomcat sat on the edge of the table and placed its arm on the monitor. "Therefore, we need to set a berthing point at a suitable distance, allowing Tianzhou to observe and analyze the space station from there."
"How far must it be?" Tang Yue doodled with his pen as he kept calculating.
"No idea. I'm still doing the calculations." Tomcat shook its head. "Miss Mai Dong, are you there?"
"She's in the no-signal zone."
"Tianzhou is an unmanned spacecraft. The most important point of getting an unmanned spacecraft to dock with an out-of-control spacecraft is self-adaptation. Our remote interference has a delay, so it's definitely not going to be in time," Tomcat said directly. "The entire plan is split into three major components… First is the analysis of the relative motion. This is the premise for a rendezvous. Tianzhou has to accurately analyze the space station's attitude, trajectory and state of motion to make a judgment."
"Can it be done?"
"No," Tomcat replied. "That's why it will be done by us. That includes the landing zone. We have to make the spacecraft land as close to Kunlun Station as possible, but once it makes the atmospheric entry, it's impossible to drastically change the landing point; therefore, this needs to be measured ahead of time." 
Tang Yue put down the pen in his hand and fell silent for a moment before saying, "It's too complex."
Even though Tang Yue was a layperson, he could sense the complexity of the plan.
"I'm not afraid of the complexity," Tomcat said. "No matter how complex and complicated a dead knot is, it's formed from a simple rope. As long as you find the correct angle of attack, the problem will be solved easily. Besides, this is the easiest of the three components."
"What's the second component?"
"The second component is the autonomous control," Tomcat said. "You are a mechanical and electrical engineer. You know the basic fundamentals of autonomous control—negative feedback. Tianzhou needs to adapt itself to the United Space Station's attitude and state of motion… This is key to everything. When I pressed yes a new screen popped into my face to the right. when I looked at it I realized it was the explanation.

Divinities : Divinities are like A category of different things. Main divinities are the title or what the categories are based around. While sub divinities are the items in the category.

Main divinities : Main divinities are the brunt of a gods power. They are in a sense the essence of sub divinities. Let me explain in better terms. Let's take the god of earth for instance. The god of earth doesn't just control Dirt, mud, and Etc, but also metals, plant life, and even volcanos. The reason for this is all that from Dirt to metals comes from the earth it's self. That is what makes a main divinitie different from subs. Mains has control over all the things that originated from that divinitie, While sub divinities only controls one part of it.

Sub divinities : However this does not make sub divinities weak the opposite in fact. You see because a main divinitie has control oover all that came from it it stretches it's self thin, meaning control over any individual part would only be average. However this doesn't apply it's self to sub divinities. Because it focuses on one thing and not multiple. Sub divinities are 10-100 times stronger than if a main divinitie user used it. However a Main divinities user would still kick a sub divinities ass. Unless they had multiple sub divinities, then that would be a whole other story

After Ariock read the explanation he was honestly surprised. He expected Main divinities to be the very definition of overpowered, but he was wrong. Main divinities are surprisingly well balanced. They sacrificed power for a variety of abilitys and Skills. While they couldn't do anything monumental with one power at a time, together will deal some real damage.

But what caught his attention was the sub divinities. They had a lot of potential. If one of these were 100 timed stronger than what a main divinitie could do then imagine someone with multiple different sub divinities. ' They'd be powerful eventually, dare I say even overpowered'. That was Ariock's thought process. Befor he could dive even further into thinking a screen popped up right in his face, making him jump back a bit.

When he pressed the yes button a green text box appeared to his right, while a black screen with white letters faded into existence infront of him. He looked confused for a second until he read what the screen said. At that point he was trying to hold in a squeal of excitement.

A description of the divinitie will be given when pressed upon. If the divinitie is greyed out that divinitie has been taken, this doesn't count for sub divinities. The price of divinitie will be shown when pressed upon. You can only have up to three main divinities, but you can have an unlimited amount of sub divinities (Gamer only, all other gods only have up to ten sub divinities). Also you will be given a divinity when born( Type depends on parents).

Now you maby might be wondering why I'm trying to hold in a squ- a manly yell of excitement. Well three words, " unlimited sub divinities." "Holy Shit" I said while looking at the screen with a grin so wide it hurts. "That's fucking overpowered. Unlimited divinities, and the best part is that I'm the only one that can have more than 10. That's so broken plz nerf. Actually don't, I'm planning on taking full advantage of this."

Then I took a look at the green text box.' hmm what kinda divinities should I get? I need at least one main divinity so I'll start there. I'm a 80/20 build so something that has range and up close capabilities would be nice.' As I thought on this it came to me. I quickly turned and pressed the text box. With a mental command a word appeared. I pressed the search icon on the left of the text box, and watched as the black screen from earlier changed into a couple words.

I nearly died cackling at what I could do with this divinitie. Not only could it destroy an entire country with ease, but the best part is that it doesn't exist anymore. The power of ki disappeared over 10,000 years ago. Only a handful of people know about the power of ki. Me included. I looked at the screen then pressed Ki.

Ki could be considered as the ultimate power. As not only does it have unlimited destructive capabilities. But it also can heal or even create. Also because only a few things originated from it it's power isn't nearly as affected as it would.

'OK on to the next ones' I thought. ' Now that I got my main divinity what type of sub divinities should I get?

I've got 15,000 points left, if I'm right sub divinities should cost 1,000-3,000p. I want divinities that don't have a set limit on what it could do.'

While I was thinking about what divinities to get I noticed the warm feeling crawling up my body. only after a minute of guessing what it was I figured it was Ki. '

Even though Ves activated his spiritual vision to watch out for uninvited guests, he hadn't been mentally prepared to respond!
As his arm was about to come down while materializing the Amastendira, his left eye detected a swirl of energy shooting from the acolyte's palm! Ves only noted that it looked weaker than the previous energy waves he witnessed before he got hit!
Both of them paused for a bit. Ves waited for the pain to hit home, while the acolyte likely waited for him to crumble.
Yet.. it was as if his nerves got hit by a pillow! The strange energy that passed through his body barely tickled him as it traveled onwards!
Three seconds passed until Ves opened his mouth. "Was that supposed to hurt?"
Before he waited for an answer, the Ves finished aiming the recently-materialized Amastendira and shot a laser beam straight into the gaping mouth of the acolyte!
Unfortunately, the laser beam continued to bore out hole through the shuttle hull! The entire interior threw into chaos as all of the air sucked out into space. Fortunately, his combat armor's helmet folded up to protect him from the lack of air.
Just as he dematerialized the Amastendira and tried to figure out a way to explain the mess, the hatch to the cockpit shifted open. The shuttle pilot scanned the passenger room with a pistol in hand, staring bewilderingly at the hole burned straight through the hull and the partially headless corpse of the fugitive acolyte.
Strangely enough, the vacsuit the dead acolyte wore automatically folded out a thin helmet to cover up the destroyed head as best it could, thereby unintentionally preserving the body.
If not for the airtight seal, bubbling blood would have literally spurted from the blasted head due to the extreme change in pressure!
A comm channel automatically switched online.
"What happened here, Mr. Larkinson?"
"This invisible bastard popped up behind my back and I shot him before he could attack me. I'm lucky to be alive, honestly. If he got his attack off, I'd either be dead or in a coma."
Of course, this story leaked like a sieve. Ves was pretty sure that the shuttle's monitoring system captured everything, but right now he didn't wish to be dragged into a time-consuming investigation.
"Protocol says we need to land at the closest ship with a functional shuttle bay. We've just departed from the Shield of Hispania, so we'll be back in a jiffy." The pilot stated.
"No! Continue to the Gorgon's Gaze."
"I'm sorry, Mr. Larkinson, but the shuttle is still unsafe. We need to return as fast as possible."
"Let me call Major Verle."
Ves ignored the shuttle pilot's bleating and called Major Verle right away.
One minute later, the shuttle pilot received new orders directly from the big man himself. It basically reaffirmed his old orders.
Grumbling about protocol before he shut off the channel, the pilot reentered the cockpit and resumed the journey, this time with an extra hole in the passenger compartment.
After a short amount of time, the pilot evidently activated a damage control module, because a bot emerged from a hidden slot and flew towards the hole. It sprayed some white slime-like substance that quickly hardened into a hard, dry seal.
Reserve air started pumping back in, causing the interior of the shuttle to regain standard pressure.
"That's convenient." Ves spoke as his helmet folded back into itself again.
Ves contemplated sitting down somewhere far away from the body, which started reeking, but changed his mind when he stared at it. He never received permission to investigate the corpses of the acolytes caught in the previous ambush.
He should take advantage of this unique opportunity. After all, it took the shuttle at least fifteen to cross the void that separated the starships.
Even after vaporizing the upper head, the most crucial area when it came to spirituality, Ves could still poke around the corpse. He always wondered how the acolytes looked like beneath their obscuring robes.
While the Vandals would probably be annoyed at him for messing around with a corpse, it wasn't as if they already had enough dead acolytes stored in the morgue. With that excuse in hand, he bent down and started to unceremoniously strip the body of the robe.
Due to his armor, he handled the body rougher than he was supposed to. The robe tore under his hamfisted attempt to get it off.
"Oops."
He inspected the black fabric and found it to be nothing but cheap synthetic woven into a thick faux-woolen cloth.
After throwing it aside, Ves inspected the body proper.
"So it turns out they do engage in extreme genetic modification.
The bulky robes hid the dead acolyte's extreme divergences from a baseline human.
First, the acolyte actually possessed a misshapen third arm right underneath the left arm. The creepy limb appeared to be fully functional by all accounts and resembled a small alien's limb more than a human one.
Second, when Ves cut into the vacsuit material with a small multitool he kept in his toolbelt, the acolyte's skin looked completely unlike a human. The rough, grey skin resembled the texture of sandpaper.
More small anomalies popped up. Ves couldn't even count how many alien species his genetic modifications encompassed, but it must have been more than six because of all of the strange stuff he detected.
The acolyte's arms featured vestigial fins. 
His reproductive organ looked like abstract art.
His chest cavity hosted an oversized heart that looked like a gnarly monstrosity.
He only possessed three toes per foot and four fingers per limb.
His spinal nerves were vastly oversized and swelled.
Ves focused on this last observation. Though his crude cutting and butchering had already made an awful on the deck, he readily endured the horror in an overriding desire to satisfy his curiosity.
While he may have hesitated at first, he found he could easily flip an invisible switch in his mind that caused him to regard the body as a machine. As a mech designer, the study of the human body formed an important component in his foundational studies. Battle mechatronics forced him to become even more familiar with the variations of the human body.
Humanoid mechs gained their shape from a mech designer's understanding and adaptation of the human body.
"When you think about it, a human body is kind of like an autonomous, miniature-sized organic mech. Beneath its human consciousness is a finely-tuned organic machine that has formed into its current shape after millions of years of evolution. However, like any machine, it's made out of many components that all serve a different purpose."
Leveraging his existing understanding of human mechs while treating the corpse as a mech led to many minor discoveries and insights, though he couldn't quite make sense of them right now.
Treating a human body like a mech was like treating a miniature as a fully-fledged mech. Some things just didn't translate correctly.
More to the point, Ves still hadn't been able to figure out how the acolytes gained the ability to manipulate spirituality and form them into an attack that affected real people! He had a strong suspicion the bloated spinal nerve played a key role in this, but Ves was no doctor or surgeon!
This was one of the many areas where treating the body as a mech failed. A real mech did not possess a real spinal nerve or brains for that matter. Instead, the cockpit and mech pilot took over their jobs.
However, his radical perspective did result in a harvest of sorts. While the many strange alien genes appeared to have resulted in an inhuman monstrosity so monstrous that people might wonder how it managed to function, Ves recognized a focused application of a premeditated design.
Some exobiologist envisioned a certain end product and manipulated the acolyte's genes to achieve this result.
"This body is able to generate and channel a lot of energy."
The overall design of the body echoed laser rifleman mechs such as his Crystal Lord design. Energy management played a central role in the configuration of the acolyte's altered human body.
For some reason, the body possessed some means of minimizing its heat emissions. Even under a high exertion, the acolyte neither radiated heat nor absorbed it from the environment, thereby avoiding tripping any heat-sensitive sensors!
Ves identified a few strange, dense growths in the lower body which may have served as heat sinks.
One of the most extreme changes to the acolyte was that he possessed an extremely altered digestive system. It took up a lot less space, but at the cost of losing the ability to digest most kinds of foods! In fact, if Ves didn't know any better, the only kinds of food the acolyte could digest were nutrient packs!
"What is it with the cultists and their love for nutrient packs?"
Strange food preferences aside, he found out enough clues to reconstruct the overall 'design' of the half-alien acolyte.
"Everything comes down to generating lots of energy and converting them into.. something else."
Had the exobiologist responsible for producing this human monstrosity figured out how to transform energy into spiritual power? It sounded ludicrous, yet the 'autopsy' he performed seemed to suggest that this was very real!
As Ves fell into thought, the shuttle suddenly thumped. It had reached the shuttle bay of the Gorgon's Gaze! A few seconds later, the outer hatch opened up to allow for the entry of a team of armed security officers.
"What the hell?!" The security lieutenant in the lead suddenly uttered as he beheld the macabre butchering that took place in the middle of the passenger compartment. The sight was so gruesome that he automatically drew his rifle onto Ves. "Stand back!"
Ves suddenly pulled out of his thoughts and looked befuddled at the rifles pointed in his direction. Those were some big guns.
"Damnit."
A few minutes later, Ves had been escorted out of the shuttle and endured a rough interrogation from the lieutenant in charge with inspecting the aftermath of the ambush.
He couldn't really provide an excuse for why he spontaneously cut up a dead body except to state that he did it for research. When that didn't fly, Ves merely placed another call to Major Verle, who responded with an exasperated sigh over the comm before he hung up.
Minutes later, Ves exited the shuttle bay as a free man again. Nothing could possibly stop him in his current task. Even if he shot a random Vandal right in the corridor, he'd probably be able to get away with it with a lame excuse.
He navigated the familiar corridors until he came down the special workshop area next to the private hangar bay of Venerable Karol Xie.
Miss Lisbeth Eta-Denmersken nervously wrung her hands as she greeted him. "Head designer! I've received your notification. The Parallax Star and the Pale Dancer have both been moved to the workshop. Do you require anything else?"
"Nothing else but complete privacy." He spoke succinctly. "The modifications I'm about to perform on the Parallax Star involve highly classified technology that you and your crew aren't allowed to witness. Major Verle has lent me the authority to have this workshop vacated of every mech designer and mech technician."
"But sir! The Parallax Star is my baby!"
"The Parallax Star is the property of the Flagrant Vandals! It is emphatically not your baby." Ves rebuked. "I'm aware that you are intricately involved in its construction and servicing, but you've been assigned to a single mech for so long that you've forgotten what it means to be a mech designers. Even Ketis, a mech designer from the frontier, has more sense than you."
"That's preposterous!" Miss Lisbeth looked offended.
"I'm only stating the facts here. Now get out of this workshop and make sure everyone gets the message that they're not allowed to barge inside."
In order to make sure that Miss Lisbeth didn't barge in unexpectedly, Ves borrowed Major Verle's authority again to have some security officers guard the hatches against entry.
"Now, let's get to work." He said as he stared up to the impressive form of the Parallax Star.

Hilda stared at the spot where Darklight Isle once stood, stupefied. The place was now empty. All that was left was a faint glow, which resulted from the energy-field ships as they accelerated away. The trail of screams from the holdout leader could still heard in the broadcast—righteous and soul-stirring. Nonetheless, the staunchest spirit of the holdout had no match for the moving experts who transported the isle.
Hao Ren sighed in silence. "Nothing like seeing it in real life. Why didn't I think of that?"
"Haven't I told you, I've got many energy-field ships?" 883 shrugged. "This service isn't cheap. Now that we've moved one isle, we still have 10 teams of spacecrafts nearby. Please earmark the floating isles you woud like to retain. I'll get them hauled to the World Gate. Then, the remaining isles will be ours."
After a moment of stupor, Hilda pulled out a small gadget. "Wait a minute, I will get Vimm to send us the identification codes. A few eco-domes need to be retained."
"Eco-domes?" Hao Ren looked at Hilda in surprise. "You're not keeping Dawnbreak Island? That's where your palace is!"
"A palace can be rebuilt, but things in the eco-domes are the foundations built by our ancestors. We will not be able to retain many things in Aerym as it is, we cannot lose what has been passed down to us." Hilda smiled then continued, "We have been keeping complete ecological samples ever since we broke up the planet in hopes that one day, when we find a new home we would be able to reproduce the entire forest and grassland of our hometown. So, the domes must go with us."
"I do not understand your thinking," the MDT chimed in. "Bear in mind that the new planet has its own ecosystem. You can only keep your own ecosystem inside the dome, separate from the new environment. It's going to take you decades, if not centuries to modify the dome so that the ecosystem can be fully compatible with the new home. It's no child's play."
Hilda looked firm as she nodded. "I am aware of that, but still, the dome must come with us. It may be a burden now but, I do not want our ancestors to blame us for allowing our children to lose their historical roots."
It was an Aerymian internal affair. If Hilda insisted for it to be that way, Hao Ren and the captains were in no position to object. So, as temporary commander-in-chief, 883 ordered the isles to be moved. As soon as the order was issued, a group of strange-looking spacecrafts broke off from the migration fleet; these were the energy-field ships with narrow hulls and a petite size, which did not fit into the cargo ship category. These expensive barges went on to encircle the Aerymian domes. A few strong flashes later, the ships and the isles were gone before their eyes.
"We should go now." Hao Ren glanced at Hilda. "The earlier we depart, the faster I can come back for a second trip."
Hilda gazed at the hologram in the cockpit, trying to etch the last images of the floating isles into her memory. She then nodded firmly and decisively.
A warped image materialised across the display monitor. The glow of the Aerymian star turned into a band of light and disappeared before their eyes. The Petrachelys left the remote and desolute place. It moved through deep space towards the World Gate at hyperspeed.
In hyperspace, the scene outside the spacecraft was pitch black. Holograms of dull and boring flight data as well as charts were being displayed in the cockpit. Hilda exhaled and spoke to Hao Ren softly, "I would like to take a look in the cargo bay."
"Okay. I'll let Lily accompany you. She'll show you the way."
Lily was almost bored to death. She was more than happy to take up the job as she and Hilda left the cockpit.
The Petrachelys was not a specialised passenger vessel; it had a container expansion bay, that was it. It was meant for holding cargo but now, it was packed with nervous elves. Needless to say, conditions were not ideal; it had no seating and it was cramped with the sheer number of elves. The elves were packed like sardines in a can. Some leaned against their luggage, some sat back-to-back for support as they murmured to each other in nervousness and anticipation of what was to come; it was also a means to pass the time.
The journey would not be long. The Aerymian elves were not particular about the cabin's condition and they did not complain.
That was what Hilda and Lily witnessed when they were at the cargo bay.
"Your Majesty!"
"The queen has arrived!"
"Her Majesty is here!"
The coming of Hilda had again caused a commotion in the otherwise boring cargo bay. The elves rose to their feet, greeting and saluting as Hilda walked towards them. Hilda was very down to earth; she walked into the crowd and sat among them—being with her people again had lessened her homesick feeling. "At ease. Now, I am just like you—a passenger. What are all of you chatting about?"
"We are curious about how our new home will look like," a middle-aged elf spoke as he edged back, trying to keep an appropriate distance from Hilda. "Your Majesty, are we really going to a place rich in natural resources?"
Hilda grinned as she nodded. "Yes, we are."
A little girl squeezed herself through the crowd, asking abruptly, "I heard the new home has a super-duper big dome, so large that we can't see the end. Is it true? What kind of dome is it? Who made it?"
"That is the sky. It is not a man-made dome." Hilda smiled at the little girl and explained to her what it was going to be like; the breeze and the land of nature. Hilda was almost tearful but she kept her emotions unnoticed: it had been generations since the elves last saw the sky. Not only the child, even the existing elderly Aerymians just saw glimpses of how the sky in their planet once looked like from the archive disk. She could still vividly recall her awe and shock the moment she saw true sky for the first time, when she was thrown into The Plane of Dreams by the huge explosion. Today, she knew the elves would experience the same awe and shock she had. The days were going to end, and as she thought of this, she became emotional again.
Outside, the Petrachelys had left hyperspace and stopped before a magnificent light curtain at the World Gate.
Stopping at the light curtain along with the Petrachelys were other spacecrafts of the migration fleet. The whole armada jammed to a halt at the gate.
Staring at the progress bar on the monitor, Hao Ren asked in astonishment, "What is it? Do we have to queue up at the World Gate? The gate's big enough for us to get through as far as I can see."
"It's the conversion process," the MDT said lazily. It was still in the card slot. "It's the first time the elves and their materials are making the cross to another universe. A conversion is needed before they can pass through."
Hao Ren was confused. "Conversion? What conversion?"
"The law of adaptation." The MDT was also bored from all the waiting. "Think about this: different universes have different sets of physical laws and constants. Some places have differences in the definition of their basic force, some places have differences in lightspeed while some places have materials of non-molecular structure—all these differences could be fatal to space travellers. Astral travel would be no problem but, not physical travel; when a physical body passes through the gate, the body will be rearranged into elementary particles by the cosmic force on the other side. So, it's important that developed, trans-universe nagivation tech always carry a procedure for conversion. The conversion could also be performed when the spacecraft's void engine is activated, or when crossing the World Gate. This is all for the sake of safety. Hence, we've got to wait. We still need to pass through the void quadrant to get to their new home on the other side so, it's going to take a while."
Hao Ren was a little confused. "Okay, I understand about the conversion but, the last time we brought Hilda along, we didn't have this problem."
"Too many people this time," the MDT explained. "Last time, we only had a few but now, it's one billion. What's more, we're hauling millions of square kilometres of land and a mountain of materials along. This World Gate is in the backwater. It's only a lite version. Its sovereign hub is still stuck at version 1.0..."
Hao Ren nodded but, he did understand a thing. His eyes were on the holograhic progress bar. He waited and waited however, the bar looked like it had froze. He released a long sigh and lamented. "Dang it, I finally have a chance to do something big, now what? The progress bar is stuck..."

Mei started driving car ha? No, in reality, she just started paying attention to Yun's clothes, look and sitting posture. 

Her eyes were on the middle mirror, not on the road. It would be a real miracle to not crush somewhere If she wasn't good at driving. 

Her gaze shifted from Eyşan to Yun. But when she realized that Gong Yun was looking at her driving carefully, Mei smiled again.

"He remain the same no matter what happens. He still look at me. I should drive more carefully!"

Yun was watching with interest her driving of the car. But in his head, he was thinking about many other affairs.

"Gong Yun. I was wondering if we could stop by the store before going home."

When the voice of the middle-aged mother, Eyşan, was heard, Yun turned his full attention to this woman. Apart from her age and maturity, this woman had the most impressive eyes and look he had ever seen.

"We have at least an hour before arriving home. But there is a small market under my apartment."

But Eyşan sait something weird. "Aa, you see. It was so easy to put money in my wechat account. But I just couldn't now. Can you help me?"

Both Yun and the young Mei driving ahead were surprised.

"What do you mean? It was easy.."

"Oh. I forgot to tell you, but I've come to your country before. Now it is a gaming company but I worked as a trainee in a small company with a little salary for a year. I learned everything related to my career here. Then I made my first business deal with a communications company in India. Haha.."

Yun frowned in his mind, thinking about this information even Eren didn't know.

Yun thought a weird possibility. Maybe he met his "master Eren" for a reason which they didn't know yet. Who knows, maybe it wasn't random destiny like they thought and it was connected to something from the past. 

Yun took the phone and told her warmly what she had to do. He then sent out 1000 Yuan to test this bank account.

Mei, who was sitting in front, saw two people getting along well and slowly sitting closer. There was more jealousy in her heart than she ever felt in her whole life. The day she met a handsome alien who could teleport, another woman was taking away her opportunity. How could she not be angry?

But at that moment Yun looked up at the sky. He had a curious look on his face. All the hair on his body ricing and he got a first real goosebump in his life. Yun even felt a strange danger above the car.

"Rain .." He whispered. 

Both of the womens in the tiny and quiet car heard it. They looked up at the sky, but it wasn't likely to rain on a hot summer evening. 

But when the rain started ten minutes later, Yun no longer looking up the sky. He felt so much in the last ten minutes. His entire body was forcing him to feel the electrical currents, which he knew somehow it was related with his magic power.

Even though he didn't want to, he felt and learned strange informations and possibilities. Dark clouds with winds and different pressures and sudden lightnings! He had to meditate to lose this weird sick feeling.

By the time they reached halfway, Mei already opened a relaxing music-list in the radio. With the rain and thunder noice from outside, this music made the car soothing.

 The tired Eyşan was leaning her head against the glass and following the road. She had different troubles. Her eyes were tearful, and she was in a strange mourning from past.

But in this good and relaxing environment, Yun had to spend his time feeling the sky. He wasn't into doing meditation when he was in a car with two beautiful woman. But the air made his body like jelly.  He had to close his eyes for an unknown forceful reason!

In the last ten minutes, he really tried to not meditate but he couldn't get out of it. It was weird but after starting meditation with that dangerly feeling, this become a torture to him.

He felt close to only one element since the beginning. 

It was the only element that made him capable of spurt electricity from his hands. Because he didn't know any spell except this ridiculous thing, he was just a beginner magician. Just level 11 novice magician.  No training. No back up. No detailed map to look for the future.  Nothing to even show as a special ability. 

Yun was a magician that couldn't prove it to someone from normal life. Even that girl driving the car right now thought him as a fucking Alien(?)

With this strange storm that made him feel special for the first time, Yun felt things he had never felt. He listened to possibilities that he had never thought of, and understood what a beautiful battleground the storms were.

It was a battle where many living things fought and defeated by each other with a natural order.

 Everyone just fell to the ground by their very nature, after joining this battle and after eventually dying. Felling from the sky was the only exception they had in common. It was the only thing they did freely through their whole existence.

Even the "Lightnings" were ultimately succumbing at some point and falling down!

After many different bullshit Yun didn't care about, he finally felt his body more closely.

Yun could see the cells in his whole body were changing, just because of all the energy around him was entering his body much faster. He didn't even know there was so much electrical energy in nature.
There were abundant amounts of other elements. But electricity always seemed to be less, more intense and more valuable comparing the others.

For the first time, his body let inside uncountable amounts of energy with a unlimited pace. 

In this process, his mind listened to sky, his heart opened all the covers of his body and fed his cells with plenty of energy.

Maybe it wasn't scientific. But thanks to this storm, Yun experienced great enlightenments which books really liked to use as situations like this. He really won many good things, but he knew this wasn't an enlighment. Actually he didn't even think that word Enlightment" was real. 

"I really shouldn't say this much "enlightment" in the future." Ah again.. no I won't say this crap anymore!

"13..no..It must be at least 14 or 15. Already I don't know how to count, but compared to my previous amount of energy, I've climbed up a few steps. My body is already past halfway of novice magician steps."

Yun felt stronger, healthier and more vigorous, but after a few minutes his body started to feel bad. Master Eren's words came to mind.

"Every time you take a huge amount of energy into your body, you have to give it the opportunity to change the body. In all the stories, the main characters evolve or develop their human bodies. But that's completely nonsense! Its bullshit. You never evolve something while being alive. Evolution needs patience, time and many generations of your kind.

Stupid writers don't know about science and stuff! In fact, our biological bodies are damaged we receive energy. Books call this energy healthy, holy and good right! Hahaha....They have no idea about how harmful this thing is  actually. 

After taking this energy into your body for a good amount, your body will take a damage. When this damage reaches a certain point, our bodies have to change as a last resort. It will produce blood much faster and create more resistant cells. It's adaptation and development but nothing like evolving. 

We can't inherit this magic related things to our childs, just like how a blind woman or footless soldier won't inherit their features to their child."


Yun really chected all about it in the online websites and really this wasn't evolving.

All the Wuxia novels were randomly telling bunch of crap. "Evolution" wasn't something a random alone guy could achieve in his one and only life!

It was even againts to the definition of the Evolution" in the middle school Bio Classbooks.

Yun couldn't stop smiling after thinking all his dreams while reading those books in his childhood. They gave him really good time and a good imagination, but this was reality. 

"If I am a human, then I should accept this and stop dreaming about stupid non-scientific possibilities. I will be better in everything I could grasp. I will achieve what I want with my own hard work and time. I don't need someone else's inheritence or secret knowledge. 

I am Yun. I will beat the crap of this electricity element with my own way :)"

How about this, we’ll ask the Workshop to build us a space-combat simulator inside a faux shuttle cabin to test these people’s power of adaptation to combat in space… All the Homo Evolutis will have to join, the Whisperers and Thinker included."
	Guang Zhen stopped short of his work. "Do you mean to bring them to the battlefield? Ol’ Wong, this is unadvisable. The Academy is highly protective of Bo Li and Ivan. I swear to God, they will go on a strike if you actively put them in harm’s way!"
	"Don’t worry. This is just for the simulator. I want to test Ivan’s theory that Homo Evolutis is a result of mankind adapting to the space environment. I feel there might be more than a grain of truth in his hypothesis. Actually, in that case, arrange for all the Virus X survivors to take part in the simulation as well."
	The simulation was carried out 1 week later, and of the 800 first draft candidates, only 106 people passed, while all but 1 Virus X survivors passed the test. That person was… Qi Xiao Niao. 
	"You idiots! Have you two lost your minds or do you really want to join the army? Didn’t I tell you to fake failure beforehand?" Xiao Niao lectured Dan Dan and Qiu Qiu. 
	Chewing a piece of tomato, Dan Dan retorted smugly, "But it is simply too simple. Who knew I had the potential to be in the air force? All they wanted me to do was to use my eyes to follow a small, red dot. It’s not my fault that I managed to locate it every time even though it moved really fast across the 3d screen."
	"Will you stop eating!?" an angry Xiao Niao howled. "All you do is sit on your ass every day and eat! We already know we are Homo Evolutis! I’m a Thinker, Qiu Qiu is a Perceptor, and Dan Dan, you’re a Diviner. We’ve tested and confirmed that on our own! Now look at what you 2 have done! We’ll have to join that ridiculous Homo Evolutis Faction and be experimented on for the rest of our lives!"
	Finally aware of their mistake, Qiu Qiu coughed and added, in way of reconciliation, "We tried our best to fail, but our eyes naturally moved to follow the red dot. It’s like our sight was glued to it… We’re very sorry, Xiao Niao."
	Xiao Niao slumped to his bed listlessly and uttered, "I know, I know… Even I myself almost trailed after the red dot involuntarily. It was as if we were forced to follow that dot… Damn it! Betrayed by our own instinct!" 
	In the captain’s room, Yao Yuan was reviewing the test results. It was fair to say he was appropriately surprised by them. The first surprise was that other than former air force soldiers, almost none of the military passed the exam. The second was the fact that all Virus X survivors, regardless of gender and age, sailed through the test!
	The last surprise was the presence of a sole failure among the Virus X survivors… Qi Xiao Niao. 
	"To be honest, you’re tripped by your own careful planning."
	Yao Yuan poured Xiao Niao a cup of tea and continued, "I bet you thought that most, if not all of, the Virus X survivors would fail the test, so to prevent yourself from standing out and thus being exposed as a Homo Evolutis, you would purposely fail to blend in with the rest, right?"
	Xiao Niao picked up the cup and spun it carefully in his hands before laying it down without taking a sip. He then laughed bitterly to himself. "Indeed, I didn’t account for mankind’s instinct to be so visceral that we would involuntarily followed the red dot. You’re right. I was caught by my own careful planning."
	Yao Yuan smiled. "So… that would make you a Thinker? To my knowledge, only the Thinker can access a multi-lineal thinking strategy to conduct multi-directional deduction. If you activate your power during the test, that’ll definitely help you overcome your base instinct."
	Xiao Niao nodded. "I realized I might have fallen into a trap halfway through the test, but it was already too late, so I figured why not go for bust? If I had known everyone else would pass the test, I swear to you I would not have failed no matter what."
	Xiao Niao hung his head in defeat, but on the opposite end of the table, Yao Yuan could barely contain his smile. Now that Ren Tao had expressed his intention to bow out, God decided to present him with a replacement… he couldn’t believe his luck! 
	"I’ll cut you a deal. The 3 of you will keep your hold over the news agency’s share, but in exchange, you’ll join the Homo Evolutis Faction. Nevertheless, before that, I want to correct your misconception about it. This faction is not some genetics lab. Its main purpose is to learn more about the Homo Evolutis powers and, more importantly, their side effects. In fact, I myself am one of them, so to speak, test subjects," Yao Yuan said jokingly. 
	Yao Yuan might call it a deal, but Xiao Niao knew this wasn’t something that he could negotiate or weasel out of. His status as a Homo Evolutis was exposed during the test and, based on his captain’s past actions and policies, Xiao Niao knew this was not a simpleton that he could swindle with his words. 
	Therefore, he stood up and declared, "I understand. I will join the faction…" Then, he turned to leave the room. 
	Yao Yuan called after him though. "Not so fast! You’ll not only join the Homo Evolutis faction, but also the military. And this includes your 2 friends. However, I promise I won't send you blindly into your grave… but if that were to occur, I’d be the one leading the charge."
	Xiao Niao sighed. "I’d rather it not come to that, because if you die, the Hope will most likely follow in your footsteps. You might not have realized it, but you’ve grown to become a symbol that’s more meaningful than this ship’s captain, you’ve become its religion… or rather, the spiritual anchorage of its people."
	Xiao Niao shut the door behind him, leaving behind Yao Yuan, who was stunned into speechlessness. 
	It wasn't until Barbie knocked on the door and walked in that he recovered and asked, "Yes?"
	Barbie pointed at her watch, "Captain, it’s 2 in the afternoon. You have a meeting to attend at the House of Representative on the definition of crimes against humanity. There will be reporters there, and the meeting will be broadcast live across the Hope. You haven’t forgotten about it, have you?"
	Yao Yuan leaped off his seat and shrugged into his general’s suit. He then hopped onto the electromobile waiting outside the room, and when Barbie sat down beside him, he asked, "Barbie, let me ask you a question. What will you do if I die?"
	Barbie was first shocked by the morbid question, but she quickly blushed. Turning her face away from Yao Yuan, she mumbled, "I’ll most probably cry because the ship has lost a good captain… But, I have to ask, do you always tease your secretaries like this, captain?"
	This time it was Yao Yuan’s turn to be shocked. He was quick to realize how easily his question could be misinterpreted. Believing that explanation would only make the situation worse, he laughed it off and turned to look out the window. 
	(Is mankind’s faith so malleable? Perhaps solving the multiple tragedies the Hope has faced in space has nurtured their spiritual reliance in me… I can’t believe I didn’t notice that earlier.) Looking back, he realized that those weird rumors and cultish behaviors that had troubled Guang Zhen greatly had disappeared or gone stagnant right after he woke up and assumed control over the Hope again. 
	With Yao Yuan back at the helm, life on the Hope gradually returned to its optimal pace. 30 days later, the Hope’s first space army unit was finally ready. It included all of the Black Star members and 6 new Homo Evolutis: Xiao Niao, Qiu Qiu, Dan Dan, Ming Ji Jie, and 2 others. 
	As fate would have it, this Ji Jie was incidentally the nurse who was responsible for looking after Yao Yuan after his return from the warship husk. She was a Virus X survivor and now a confirmed perceptor. 
	"…With this, I declare the formation of the Hope’s first unit of space troopers!"


Endless sky and infinite space, the cosmos isn’t some paradise waiting to be found, it is full of darkness and danger, death and terror of the great unknown. However, for that glittering swath of blue, we have no fear! For the longevity of men, we have no regrets! Nothing shall stand in our way because it is finally our time, our age! The age of cosmos exploration! 


The sky is already painted in orange and red so we decided to clean things up even though I have many things to I want to ask. Anastasia then rise from my lap despite my reluctance. So I decided to watch her while resting my head on my arms while the old man like always, has a scowl on his face while glaring daggers at me wanting to tear my face apart.

"You know, you don't have to be so angry, it's not like I'm gonna take her, " I whispered to the old man trying to ease him up. I can't have him hate me if I wanted to marry Anastasia. Instead of easing the scowl on face, his face suddenly sunk. I gulped nervously while sweat rolled down my forehead to my cheeks. Being a God doesn't help at all when it comes to my Father-in-law.

"You mean to say that you were only playing with her, hah," Lernean said in a hushed tone and with a growl at the end of his sentence while his voice suddenly turned demonic and deep. " Of course not, I'm serious about your daughter". I immediately said, thankfully salvaging the situation.

While Anastasia was tidying things up it seems that she was listening to our talk, right now as her pale and smooth cheeks up to her slightly pointed ears are tinged with pink. While I smiled in victory seeing that I got a reaction from the blonde beauty. But it seems that my father in law was not impressed as he looked at me with a deadpan expression.

"I'm not going let her marry you, she is still too young, " The old man said half-shoutedly after he abruptly stood up and walk away with a stomp. Leaving an awkward situation.

As Anastasia finished cleaning I quickly help and carry the basket and blanket leaving her with no things to carry. She looked at me silently while her mouth curved slightly. As we walk side by side slowly towards the castle with only the sound of breathing and our footsteps crunching the dry leaves and grass. Despite my confidence I showed before, I can't help but still feel nervous while trying to slowly reach her hand.

Anastasia felt his hands kept touching her, she looked towards the God (with a slime on his head) who unexpectedly a teaser. She thought that he was only playing with her but it seems he was serious as she heard their 'talk'. If it weren't him they would already be beaten to death by her. And it was the first time she experienced being flirted as her father often 'talk' to them. Waking up from her musing as she felt a warm and rough feeling enveloping her dainty soft hand. It wasn't bad at all, she thought while the man whom for the first time touched her heart breathed a sigh of relief and flash a bright smile towards her.

"You know if you weren't a God my father would have pummeled you down long ago," she said in a whisper while looking at the twitching mouth and the sweat rolling down the cheeks of Alfius. They continued holding their hands in silence while enjoying the company of each other.

After we arrived in front of the mansion Lernean was there waiting with an annoyed expression beside him is a petite and beautiful lady wearing a bright red dress. Despite our reluctance, we decide to pull our hands away from each other lest the old man will be angry while I was still in a daze missing the feeling of her soft hand.

"You're late," the old man said while raising an eyebrow.

I immediately heard the exasperated voice of Lernean rousing me from my trance.

"It was a little dark so we have to walk slowly," Ignoring the irritated voice I replied while smiling brightly, I'm in a good mood right now as my relationship with Anastasia improved.

*cough* Nice to meet you Alfius-sama I'm Amelia wife of this grumbling old man," said the dainty lady with a flowing blonde hair reaching her waist and a curved horn atop her head beside Ladon while smiling lightly. I immediately greeted her with a bow despite my surprise how young she looked although Ladon wasn't really old looking but more like a handsome middle-aged man with strong features that girls fantasized about in novels.

But her wife really looked like a teenager to me. After entering the mansion, while me and Ladon were at the back I give him a thumbs up while he looked at me with confusion and seeing my knowing smile while looking at his wife then he slowly widen his eyes as he immediately tried to punch me in an inhumane speed, of course, he couldn't land a hit and with a snort " It wasn't like what you're thinking" he whispered while a mana barrier erected in front of us most likely to prevent them from hearing our talk.

"I know, I know, everyone has their own preference, honestly I'm more attracted to Milf but of course I also like a serious type and then there is also a glasses...." as I continued my speech about my preference while Ladon only looked at me speechlessly probably thinking that it was the first time hearing someone openly talked about their sexual preference.

"You know you're a pervert..." after a long silence he seriously said. "But I liked that."

"I see you're a lolicon huh"

"I'm not"

"I know you don't have to be shy about it"

After our small talk, we finally arrived at the dining room, while being happy that I 'improved' my relationship with future Father-in-law. Now I only needed to convince my Mother-in-law, court Anastasia and make our relationship official.

As we sat down while maids and Anastasia prepare the food. I still didn't know why Anastasia is wearing a maid uniform must be a hobby, being long-lived is boring after all.

While eating the food cooked by her mother (surprisingly) which is delicious honestly unlike my foods back home where I can only eat fruits roasted boar. The slime was on my lap when we started eating while I was giving chicken bones, seems that he liked it.

After eating our fill Ladon immediately invite me to their veranda as he knew that I have a lot of questions he wanted to ask.

"What is a God really, " the thing that I wanted to ask ever since I came here. In my past life, the definition of God is someone omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. My power gives me an illusion that I can do everything but I But aside from my overwhelming strength I don't have the qualities to be a God.

"Um um I see I see you are lost, my child"

The old man nodded sagely, honestly, if it were the other Gods they would've slap this demi-god to death. With a look as if an elder teaching a young child about the mysteries of life. Well, he was indeed older than me I don't even know how many thousands of years this old man had lived but it was still irritating.
This old man clearly is enjoying it. Seeing that I was unhappy with his charade he immediately started speaking.

"Alfius-sama the first step to getting a divinity is to reach the peak stats your race can have and only then you can feel the divine energy. The energy that you will need to ascend. Everyone has the potential to ascend there is no higher and lower and the only difference is if you have the talent to unlock them.

If you can't feel the divine energy then it means that you still haven't unlocked all your potential because even if you didn't have enough talent and luck to absorb the divine energy, you can still feel it."

The old man paused while I was staring intently at him waiting for him to continue.

"And then absorb that divine energy to your body. Unlike the mana that is flowing inside your body, the divine energy slowly changes your very being. And only then you will become a Demi-god, the first step towards Godhood. Demi-gods can't be killed in a normal way even if their head and limbs severed it will just regenerate again. Divine energy will enhance your brain. Your thinking capacity and your senses increased to an unimaginable level and you will get the feeling of omnipotence and omniscience.

However that is a wrong notion, demi-gods can still be killed, their soul is still not immortal and their bodies can be prevented from healing by placing a curse or seal."

And lastly, Gods an entirely different league, the being who already evolved to a higher being. You are entirely a different being and common sense doesn't apply to you. Even if there is not a single drop of your blood remained you will still live and create a new body. You can exist just by your soul.

And the biggest change will be the 'Godhead'. ' Godhead' is like an innate ability that Gods will get when they ascend. Gods can gather the faith of their believers strengthening them further and in turn Gods will have to be their guardian.

'Godhead' can manifest in many ways. They can be a weapon, an armor, summon and the rarest of all is the skill type. The God slaying Poison of Lernean, the Immortal body of Zerathin, the Adaptation of Arthur. And the strongest of all I've seen is your Godhead, your majesty."

"A divinity that can cancel divinity itself "looking at me with a solemn expression he stated. I can already imagine the despair of the Gods when facing me a hundred thousand years ago. Their 'Godhead' and their suppose immortal body and immortal soul is useless when hit by my Godhead. Now I know why I can kill Gods even though I just ascended at that time. Compared to the old gods my prowess is still lacking even if my strength is above average.
