My name is Dani Saint I have lived in this land for 20 years, all this time I have always had the same dream, the world at war and only a few will be saved those chosen by the general who will give the order for the trumpets to sound his Look is flames of fire (literally) and at their feet are the candlesticks. I leave behind these records to tell you that you still have time to save yourself, the trumpets have not yet sounded.

Alex has always had the same dream for as long as he can remember, the world in chaos, its rulers are aberrations and there is only war, fortunately it has only been a dream and his life is as simple and mundane as any university in the north of the country had friends a work and most of his life you can find out on a social network.

Despite our ridicule and comments, I know perfectly well that Alex did pay attention to them (the dreams) and always tried to decipher them, arriving several times at multiple interpretations for the same dream, each one more crazy than the previous one, before I laughed, now I'm so glad he did otherwise we would all be dead.

Lin Mingyue hesitated before she knocked on the door. She entered once the person inside gave her permission to come in. "Doctor Yan Han, are you still busy?"

The female doctor looked up when she heard Lin Mingyue's voice and smiled. "Hey, Mingyue. What brings you here?"

Mingyue lifted the takeaway lunch in her hand higher. "I met your assistant in the canteen. She said you hadn't had your lunch yet. So I came to bring you food."

Doctor Yan laughed. "Come in. Sit down. We haven't hung out together for a while."

Lin Mingyue closed the door behind her, placed the takeaway box on the table, and sat down. She watched the way her friend salivated as she looked at the dishes and laughed. "If you know you're hungry, why didn't you take a short break and have your lunch?"

"Don't say it," Doctor Yan picked up the chopsticks and clipped the braised chicken. "I saw a patient today, and he took a longer time than he should. The patient condition was not too good. It took me a while to let him calm down. What about you? Why are you not busy?"

"I have surgery next morning," Lin Mingyue said helplessly. 

"Right, are you free this weekend? Let's go shopping together."

"Sorry. I'm going hiking with my sister and her friends."

Doctor Yan was disappointed. The two talked a bit about work and other things as Lin Mingyue accompanied her for lunch. Doctor Yan started to clean up her table once she finished. "I almost forgot," Doctor Yan said. "Have you been having that recurring dreams?"

Lin Mingyue and Doctor Yan Han started interning in the hospital around the same time. Because of that, the two was quite close. Once Mingyue heard that Doctor Yan was from Health and Mental Department, she had asked about her recurring dreams.

"I still have those recurring dreams," Mingyue admitted.

Doctor Yan was surprised to hear her words. "What? It has been going on for years. Mingyue, this is not normal. How about I booked you for a session?"

Lin Mingyue waved a hand. "That's alright. I attended a few session a few years ago, and nothing worked."

"How about I refer you to my professor?"

"No need. Those dreams were not harmful. Besides, the frequency of this dream is getting lesser."
"Don't say that. In a psychological aspect, it might be harmful."

Seeing that her friend's expression had turned darker, Mingyue immediately agreed. "Then, I'll just follow your suggestion." she hesitated as she saw her friend wrote something in her book.

"What's troubling you?" Doctor Yan said. She lifted her head and watched Lin Mingyue with a scrutinizing gaze. From her friend's body language, Yan Han could guess that Mingyue had some worries. 

"Yan Han, actually in the past few months, I keep seeing an image in my brain."

Doctor Yan frowned. "How long have you been having this? What is it about?"

"Well, since two, three months ago," Lin Mingyue admitted. She lowered her head to hide her embarrassment. "I keep seeing the silhouette of a man. I cannot see his face, but when he showed up in my head, I had a feeling that he should be familiar with me."

"I know what it is." Doctor Yan leaned on her chair and smiled teasingly. 

Lin Mingyue stared at her friend with her eyes wide. "You know?"

Doctor Yan nodded. "Mingyue ah, Mingyue, this is a sign. A sign that tells you it's time for you to find a boyfriend and start dating."

Mingyue's face darkened at Yan Han's words. "Get lost!" 

After chatting for another five minutes, Lin Mingyue walked out of her friend's office. She took a deep breath and leaned on the wall to compose herself. Mingyue let out a chuckle as she recalled how Yan Han had told her that it was time for her to start dating.

Dating?

This was not the first time someone had suggested her to find a boyfriend. Even her adopted parents were worried that she had never shown any interest in any man. 

It was not that she never give a thought of dating. But, every time Mingyue thought that she should give a man a chance, her heart cannot accept it. Her heart wanted her to wait until that someone she was waiting for appeared.

Mingyue closed her eyes briefly. Her mind showed the image of the faceless man again. This time, he stood closer to her as if he was going to pull her into his embrace. However, his face stopped just next to her ear. 

"Mingyue…"

Lin Mingyue opened her eyes with a jolt. Her heart was beating rapidly — the voice. The man's voice sounded so real! Again, her heart ached. Her heart screamed that she missed him. But it was absurd! She did not even know who that man was and how he looked like!

Back in Da Cheng

Princess Lingchen hastened her pace as she headed to the Emperor's Palace. Once she arrived outside the hall, the Crown Princess urged the eunuch to tell the Emperor that she had an important matter to discuss.

After almost an hour of waiting, the Emperor finally allow the Crown Princess to enter. Princess Lingchen walked before her father and greeted him as according to the rules.

"I heard that you have an important matter to discuss with me," the Emperor said. "You don't have to tell me. I already know what you were going to ask."

"Then, Your Majesty-"

The Emperor raised a hand to stop his daughter from saying anything. "I have decided. We will cancel the arrangement with Prince Huo Yuan. I will let your mother arrange your engagement banquet. And you will be engaged to the Emperor of Qian Rong next month."

Princess Lingchen's face paled as she heard the Emperor's words. "Forgive my impertinence, Your Majesty, but you cannot do this!"

"What is it? Don't tell me that you actually have feelings for Prince Huo Yuan of Western Zhou?"

"That's not it," Princess Lingchen sputtered. 

"Do you have any problem with the Emperor of Qian Rong? I thought your relationship with him was quite good."

"But mother had told me what the Emperor of Qian Rong had promised to give us in exchange for my hand in marriage."

The Emperor laughed as he watched his daughter. "I did not expect that the young Emperor of Qian Rong would be so generous. He's willing to enter our family and hand over Qian Rong as dowry."

In their world, Jiang Mingyue is a promising female physician, serving the Crown Princess to find a cure for a dormant poison in the Princess's body.

“Then what?” she raised a brow. “Time traveling? Are you sure you haven’t been watching too much sci-fi?” She pursed her lips when he didn’t say anything. “Let’s see,” she flicked across the pages. She watched him nodded and shook her head in disbelief. “You’re out of your mind.” She stood up and leaned towards him to place her hand on his forehead.

He flinched. “What are you doing?”

“Checking to see if you had a fever,” she said with a sigh. “But you seem healthy.”

“I’m not sick.”

“I know.”

“I’m not crazy.” Yang Yun closed his eyes when she looked at him in doubt. He had been searching for her for years. And right now, the love of his life was standing right in front of him. But she doesn’t seem to remember him. It was as if her memories of the past, the memories of him have all been forgotten. 

She lifted her hand, and her fingers rested on his cheek. “I like you, Yang Yun.” She drew her hand and frowned. “But I don’t understand why you keep telling me about these stories. Why are you forcing me to accept this?” She closed her eyes briefly. “Sometimes, I wonder if you really like me, or am I just a substitute to someone you knew in your past.”

"Emily. I saw them again in my dreams." Emily sat on the grass and scooped Jasmine up in her arms before finally letting her sit on her lap.

Jasmine has been telling her lately that she's having recurring dreams. Well, not really recurring, but the people in those dreams are the same. It was like Jasmine has been watching someone else's life unfold.

"You've got to give it to this child's imagination", she thought. All along she was thinking that Jasmine must have seen a whole family walking along the road or she's watched television too much and she's got those faces etched in her mind which is why she was always dreaming of them.

Jasmine saw the hesitation in Emily's eyes and her heart sank. She stood up while trying to convince her that the dream she has every night was real. It was like she was stepping out of her own body to visit that family. But it seemed that her body was invicible as they never noticed her. 

After recounting all of the dreams she had, in detail, the look in Emily's eyes changed from hesitation to guilt. She knows that Emily doesn't believe a word she said. A sudden gust of wind passed by, making a mess of her hair and covering half of her face.

Emily tried to fix her ruffled hair but was cut short when the little girl looked her intently in the eye and said, "You don't believe me, do you?"

She was stunned. So stunned that the arm trying to reach the kid's face, froze in the air. It was like a different person was speaking to her. Not Jasmine. Not a child. The innocence was gone from those eyes.

She didn't know what happened next but her relfexes were fast enough to catch Jamine's falling body. The child has passed out and her temperature rose to an alarming degree!

Why hadn't she realized that her little baby is sick?! They were so close to each other just a moment ago. She muttered curses under her breath as she panicked. She's been a nurse for how many years and encountered countless life threatening situations for her patients but she's always managed to be calm.

Only now that Jasmine's body was burning up did she ever felt so scared in her life. She ran inside the orphanage's clinic and administered first aid, afraid that the child will soon have seizures due to her rising temperature. She loosened her clothes and placed her on her side to prevent possible choking.

As soon as she let go of her, she felt her body tremble. It was the child's heavy breathing that brought her back to her senses. She then filled a tub with water and placed huge amounts of ice. She dipped her clean handkerchief in the cold water and wiped her whole body to help decrease her temperature.

When her situation seemed to improve, she left her side to look for the thermometer and check her temperature, only to find out that her temperature was still high! This time, she decided to bring her to the hospital.

They stayed in one of the beds in the emergency room until the next morning, with only curtains separating them from the rest of the other beds. Emily never left her side. She was so afraid that if she left her even for a second, she will never see her again. Just like how her parents left the world.

When Jasmine's eyes opened, the mysterious look that had her stunned to her bones, was gone. All that's left was the pair of eyes that she was so used to. The pair of eyes that knows how to get her every time she asks for chocolates.

"This is the little Jasmine I know. And thank goodness, you are safe", she sighed. Tears of relief slowly streamed down her cheeks. All the while, Jasmine has been looking at her in confusion.

"Water" was all Jasmine could say. And as fast as lightning, Emily went to fetch her a glass. She then let her drink medicine. And a few moments later, the little girl was back to sleep.

She felt a little tired and decided to get some rest as well. Now that the crisis has passed, she can now relax for a bit. It was a good thing that it was her day off today.

Later, when Jasmine feels a little better, they can go to her place and they can be couch potatoes all day, was what she was thinking when she drifted off to sleep.

She held his hand as he closed his eyes gently. Lying beside each other, both of their bodies are starting to tremble as the cold slowly crept through their skin.
They've always loved winters. Tears welled through her eyes as she remembers those cold nights. Both of them wrapped in hand knitted sweaters she made for their 50th wedding anniversary 10 years ago. Sitting in their favorite sofa by the fireplace and sipping hot chocolate, she always wondered what good things could she have done in her past life to deserve such a meaningful marriage.
She slowly shifted to look at her husband's tranquil face. He is old yet still as handsome as the first time she met him many years ago.
Her heart felt heavy and her arms felt weak, yet she still managed to hug him tight. She then whispered to him gently, "Rest well, my love."
As she started to succumb to exhaustion, the heaviness she earlier felt slowly faded away.
A smile crossed her face as her final thoughts played like a scene from a movie. She and Leo were on the dance floor, gently swaying with the music. He said, "I love you. And even in the next lifetime, it would still be you."
Her heart was at ease. She silently, ardently asked, "I pray to be with you once again. One more time. One last time."

Jensen saw a very specific spell trapped in the Waterbowl, in Gracie's vision of the Moon Goddess.

This spell had been in pratically every dream he had of her, one which was filled with blood, screams, violence, tears, and fears.

And it served to confirm her as his destined companion. 

Gracie, however, did not came to a full understanding in what concerned Jensen, as she had not come to know his long journey until finally finding her.

This task fell upon Amaya, who could sense the dreams people had, and she had to explain the story.

Jensen was born with the ability of dreaming with people, he had a great knowledge about its meanings, and, usually, what he dreamed would become reality.

But, endless nights, a mysterious girl would appear into his dreams. And he could never find a meaning to these dreams, which were the only dreams that would appear repeatedly throughout his life. He had never seen a repeated dream, with her exception.

The Waterbowl was a recurring location, and, if he knew the way there, maybe he could find her.

Then, they come to what had happened. And she was watched for approximately 3 weeks before he had courage to step out of the woods.

Orphan Gracie was adopted very young by the Volosonova clan, and, had a dream all her life: step out of the role of servant. Once she meets Prince Jensen, a princess life is a viable dream, with its setbacks.

Have you ever imagined a world where monsters were real and how strong a person is depends on their ability to harness the power of monsters? I have, in fact I have been having the same recurring dream where I became the apprentice of a master card capturor. Now you're probably curious about what a card capturor is. In fact so was I until I realised I crossed over into the world in my dreams and I could never go back. 
Goodbye to the first crush I never had the chance to confess to. Goodbye beautiful world with your wonderful series and animes. Goodbye mom, dad, your son won't be coming back! Because I have decided to chase my dreams and become a master card capturor!
