Soobin and I were bestfriends since elementary, I have a huge crush on him since 6th grade, but does he feel the same way?

"Good morning teachers and students, welcome back to the school. And for those who are starting a brand new life with us, we warmly welcome you to be part of Eitsuma Middle School."

That summer, Eitsuma Middle School welcomes its new batch of 6th grade students into the school in the year 2016.

This year as usual, in Eitsuma Middle school, all the student in each grade are divided into three classes. The 8th grade are divided into Class 3-1, Class 3-2, Class 3-3; The 7th grade are divided into Class 2-1, Class 2-2, Class 2-3; And the 6th grade are divided into Class 1-2, Class 1-3, Class 1-4.

Besides, during the beginning of this semester, the school welcomed a new teacher. Same as the rest of teacher in Eitsuma Middle school, he decided to move into the school dormitory.

The letter read:

We hearby invite you to the Yokosunai International School. Your dorm and school uniform will be provided to you once you sign in at the school entrance. Make sure to review the list on the other side of the letter for the school supplies.

After reading this letter, Rayku was in tears of joy. He couldn't stop thinking about how his dream school just accepted his demand and that he would be able to continue his deepened learning on Phantoms at the most prestigious school in Hanoma.
« But wait there's a second letter. It doesn't seem like it's a school invitation though. » Uzuki explained.
Rayku calmly opened the second envelope and read it out loud.
« Hello dear Rayku,
I hope you're doing all right in the orphanage and that nothing has been bothering. I hope you will be able to achieve whatever dream you have chosen.

Nobody was able to answer but Hanabi's mother seemed to know who it was but didn't want to tell him.
After taking breakfast, Shinagaya, Shinsuke, Uzuki, Rayku, Hanabi and her parents all went to the local mall in order to get the school supplies.
Oh and I forgot to mention, all the kids mentioned got a letter from Yokosunai Internation School.
The list was so big it took them approximately the entire afternoon to take all the needed furniture and clothes.

Rayku was the only one who wanted a katana. He always wanted to be a master swordsman. So, he was the only one who decided to pick Sword Practice. The rest decided to pick shrunken practice.
After coming back home, the parents told the kids from the orphanage that they would be absent for a couple of days since they had to bring the 5 others to Yokosunai. As they had to travel on Monday, they had to prepare the bags over the weekend and get some airplane tickets.
Rayku and Uzuki were the happiest so they ran up to their rooms and started preparing their stuff.
Rayku also decided to buy a small bag where he could put his katana because he wasn't aloud to put it inside his school luggage.
During the weekend, they didn't really do anything special as they were in their summer vacation.

This is the story of a boy or should I say 4 boys. All of them have been orphaned ever since the age of 2 because of a beast which killed their parents as well as many civilians. 
Since the beast wasn't able to be stopped, a man sealed it inside of his youngest child and died due to the procedure. 
Follow the adventure of the boys as they come closer and closer to achieving their lifelong goal!

 Not feel the day so quickly passed.  It has been seven days since the first day the introduction of the school environment began.  He said, today is the determination of each student's class.  Are you majoring in science or social sciences.  Initially I was doubtful that I could enter science major.  Can I go into science major even if I don't like lessons in this major?  The students here are smarter than me.  However, after further researching, the majority of children in my class chose social sciences instead of science major.  For a moment I can breathe freely.  The possibility for me to be able to enter science major is a little wider.

 I pray and hope to God to put me in a class with good people.  Hopefully there are no bad boys like in elementary and junior high school first.  I am tired of dealing with those who have selfishness and are only selfish.  Every working day they only pitted one another until finally one party did not accept and the fight began.  A familiar sight.

 The attendance list for the new class has been posted in the window of each class.  I rushed to the window and looked for my name.  My vision examines every name on the sheet of paper.  I looked for the N alphabet in it and found my name, Nataniel was there.  My classroom turned out to be the same as the introduction room, which was in room X-6.  So, I don't need to move to another class.  I re-entered the classroom and occupied my seat.  Not long after, Avie came to get his bag on the bench where he sat.  She embraced her bag and hurried out of the classroom.  Looks like she is not the same class as me.  I didn't see Avie's name on the roll call.  It's just that I was in the same class as the guy who made out in the hall during the introduction yesterday, his name was Heru.

 "Which class are you in, Vie?"  I asked politely.

 "X-2. You didn't move class?"

 "Yes, this is my class, X-3."

 "All right. See you later."  The figure disappeared after passing the brown painted door by embracing one arm of her bag.

 It didn't take much time, people flocked to my class after knowing that his name was in this class.  I took my bag and moved to the back of the class.  I sat in the back corner of the class.  Silence and pondering are my habits.  I have no friends now.

 After everyone has entered the classroom, I researched everyone who was here.  In the middle of the class, Heru is sitting with her male friend.  As usual, he looks handsome and cool.  After that, I looked the other way.  There is nothing I know besides Heru, I mean that I have never seen anything but Heru's face.  All are new people.

 Wait a minute, that person, I seem to know.  Immediately I approached the woman who was playing with a cellphone and listening to music through earphones attached to her ear.

"Pinkan?"  The woman realized that her name was being called to me.  She put her cellphone on the table and removed his earphones.

 "You, Nataniel? Well, I didn't expect you to be here, in the same class again."

Pinkan is someone who attends the same school as me. Maybe, we can't be called friends because we never talked to each other before.  And today is my first day interacting with her after several years.

 I took a stool and moved it to the side of Pinkan's seat.  I started a chat about memories of old times.  I still remember when we were in 6th grade, Pinkan screamed in fear because she was pelted with cockroaches on her body.  And I still remember that Pinkan wasn't entirely scared, she was happy because the person who threw the cockroach was her own boyfriend.  A badboy who bully.  I wonder what Pinkan thought to be able to like people like that.  The two of them even had an affair or rather dating at the 6th grade of elementary school.  However, they both broke up after 2 days in a relationship.  I laughed remembering that incident.

 After a long time talking, I saw a woman sitting next to Pinkan.  That woman looks like a quiet person, like me.  I asked Pinkan what was the name of the person sitting with her.  Pinkan told me that the name of the woman next to her was Anne.  I started a small talk with Anne just looking for friends.  I asked her like an interviewer.  Starting from what her name was, where Anne lived, with what Anne went to school, and how old she was.  Anne answered shyly.

 I didn't hear Pinkan's voice at all.  When I looked, she returned to playing her cellphone and rocked back and forth to enjoy her favorite music.  I glanced at the screen of his cellphone, and waw, Pinkan was reading a synopsis of the film on one of the websites on google.  It turns out that Pinkan also likes adult films just like me.

 "Reading the synopsis of the film, do you want to watch Neighbors? I've watched it. The flow of the film is good and funny. But, the bed scenes are not too good because the men are not too handsome."  Pinkan who heard my babble seemed interested.  It turns out that not only I like movies with adult ratings, my friends also like.  Only this time I have someone who has the same hobby as me.

 We chatted for a long time about various films in the world and occasionally laughed merrily.  Anne, who had been silent, began to wonder about our discussion. Anne patted my shoulder slowly

 "What are you two telling me? It looks fun."  No, no.  Anne must not know that we are saying something rather pornographic.  Anne is innocent and I just met her.  Really, anyway, I told a rather pornographic thing to Anne, who incidentally was a new person?  Anne Ilfeel could with me.  I held Pinkan from telling Anne. The ammo making room is enabled to produce 75 shotgun shells total, so I loaded them into my gun. Junias hurry me on the loading of my shells to my gun. I reply to her to wait to I load my shells, after that I need to visit the revive area to hire some allies, at the meanwhile, Junias pray for a safe trip on hunting the zombies. She argues that we should make full use of the stat boost since we already almost wasted half the duration. I argue back that it is important to pray and be thankful for the status boost, and it is also important to have more people in the team, I am trying to get people from there, at least a few of them will increase the chance of distributing the damage done by zombies.

I check the safe zone population, it displays that there are 36 people, 21 of them are have respawned and on currently on basic training, 0 have entered into the safe zone.

I go to the revived area to check the list of dead. There are 27 people for reviving. Seriously why-why @$@#$#%@$, why am I getting those people who are the masterminds of the betray, as I look again at the list of dead people to revive. This is the list that is top of the list for potential people to revive.

Rapist(Maron),  female dog in heat(Wanda), the thief (Chung Tai), the robber (Ava), looters(Mary), a witch (Alice), a liar (John), fake priest(tiera), greed bastard(Sam) some more...

I really can't take it as the list is a joke itself. The list is full of dead people who get shot to death by me except for Maron the rapist, this time I reread the list three times in a row to ensure that it is real, that the reviving list are truckload with bad guys and evil-minded people.

"46 points... That too after adding the bonus 30 points that you received because of your 2-star gold participation badge." Yue Luan said as he shook his head with a smile.


"The ten beasts I faced had a cultivation that was one stage higher than mine. They were scary strong, I couldn't do anything." Princess Yue said as she looked down with an embarrassed look on her face.


"Don't worry about it. You did good. You are already in the top 400, way above the cut-off of top 500." Yue Luan smiled as he patted her head.


" It's all because of those 30 extra points, otherwise I would only have 16 points." Yue Fei responded to Yue Luan.


"Those were not extra points. Those were your rewards for being so special. " Yue Luan said as he gazed at her with a smile on his face.


While they were talking, people who were unaware of the reality kept making assumptions about her score.


"It must be over 200! She is a grade 6 talent, after all, her battle prowess must be amazing."


"I'm not sure. She looks quite weak to me. Still considering her talent, I'd say that she received around 150 points." 


People kept putting out their own assumptions while they waited for the other two to exit.


Yue Fei heard all their assumptions. Her embarrassment kept increasing the more she heard.

Back in the illusion, Long Chen had killed the 6th stage Earth Realm Devil Hunter beast. He looked tired as he breathed heavily.


"My Qi has almost depleted. Why is there no time to rest in these Illusions?" Long Chen muttered as he gazed at the ten 6th stage Earth Realm Devil Hunter beasts in front of him.


"Alright, if there's no time, I'll make time on my own." Long Chen said as his gaze turned serious.


A mist seemed to have covered his eyes that previously looked slightly golden.


The whole place flickered for a moment as if the illusion was going through some trouble.


The ten Devil Hunter beasts paused where they were standing. They neither moved forward nor backward.


"Wait there for a moment, We can play after some time." Long Chen muttered as he sat down on the ground. He had complete control over the illusion as of this moment.


Although he had some limitations when it came to using illusions on living beings, in reality, it was a completely different matter altogether when it came to being in the Illusion himself. 


He understood the law of illusion, thus he could altercate the illusion however he desired. The Illusions only worked on him because he wanted them to. Since the moment he entered the formation, the formation lost control of the illusion altogether.


Long Chen sat in a  meditative position as he began his Cultivation. He desired to gather his Qi as soon as he could as his desire for battle was overwhelming him.


Long Chen cultivated in the illusion for over an hour before he opened his eyes. He stretched his arms before he stood up.


"Thanks for waiting." Long Chen said with a smile before his eyes flashed with a misty light. The illusion went back to normal as the Devil Hunter beasts began moving once more.


They jumped towards Long Chen like hungry wolves towards their prey. Long Chen teleported from his position as he appeared on top of one of the devil hunter beasts. 


He stabbed his king's sword downwards which penetrated the skull of the Devil Hunter beast. The Devil Hunter beast couldn't even make a sound before he fell on the ground lifeless.


He kept teleporting constantly as he appeared near the devil hunter beasts and hunted them like the world's best assassin.


The Devil Hunter beasts had a strong defense but their defense didn't work against the King's sword. To boost his chances further, Long Chen specifically attacked their weak spots. 


He had a link established with Orion after he established a contract with him, thus he knew the strengths and weaknesses of the Devil Hunter beasts all too well.

Back in the Formation Trial Hall, It had been four hours since Princess Yue walked out of the formation.


It had already been over five hours since Long Chen and Prince Lu had entered the formations. They had already broken the record of the longest time spent inside the Illusion formation that was previously held by a cultivator from the Xuan Kingdom. The previous record was only 3 hours and 16 minutes.


Most of the people in the hall had sat down as they eagerly waited for the second person to come out of the formation.


Some people had already fallen asleep as they grew tired of the wait while others still continued to argue about who would be the second person to come out.


"Although the masked boy has a better talent, he is still too young. He can't have good battle prowess! I'm sure that he isn't from the Xuan Kingdom otherwise he wouldn't be hiding his face. There's no chance that he can have any decent battle skill." One of the cultivators said to his friend. He was a fifth-grade talent. He wore a black headband on his forehead and had quite short hair.


"You can't be sure of that... The way I see it, Master Lu is going to lose." Another person commented in between.


"Who are..." The person turned back to look in the direction where that voice came from only to get shocked as he hurriedly closed his eyes.


The person who had just said that Prince Lu would lose was a 24-25-year-old man. He was the person who currently holds the no. one position in the Illusion trials. He was a fifth-grade talent, but his battle prowess was already clear to everyone based on his score. His own score was 180, furthermore, his cultivation wasn't low either. He was a 4th stage gold realm cultivator.


"Why does master duan think that?" The boy with the headband asked the man as respectfully as he could.


"You must not have noticed it, but when Elder Jinliang told the guard to take that boy, The way the boy faced the guard, it was too scary. I wasn't even the target of that gaze but I still felt a chill in my spine. He didn't look scared even for a bit. It was as if he was ready to slaughter the guard without a care of the world. That boy... he should never be offended..." Master Duan said in a tone that sounded less like a suggestion and more like a warning before he closed his eyes.

The second door opened as the second person came out of the formation.


The second person to exit was someone that had shocked everyone with his immense talent. It was a masked boy who called himself Tian Shen.


"Are the others out yet?" He looked towards the elder and asked.


"Ah... no. Prince Lu is still inside." The Elder hurriedly replied.


"Oh," Long Chen responded in a careless tone as he walked towards a corner and sat down. He closed his eyes. He didn't even look at his score once after exiting.


The Elder in charge of the second stage opened one of the rooms that was separated from the 50 formation trial room.


Normally he would've waited till all three of them were out, but he couldn't contain his curiosity. Since the moment Long Chen came out, he wished to see his score.


Inside the room, there were names of people written in the wall based on the rankings they received in the Formation Illusion Trials.


"Hmm? The first name is Duan? What about that sixth-grade girl and that masked boy?" He muttered as he looked at the first name. He began reading the complete list as he tried to find their names, after much effort, he found one of the names that he was trying to find.


The person holding the rank 325 was Princess Yue Fei.


"Only 46 points? Looks like her battle powers were really weak... but where is that boy? Is he even weaker than her? " The Elder let out as he continued going down the list of names. He read all the names in a few minutes but didn't find the name of Tian Shen.


"There are two names missing. Prince Lu and Tian Shen. Prince Lu is still in the illusion so he won't have a score but what about Tian Shen! Why is his score not here? It's like he didn't even participate in the test!" The elder said as he grew confused.


The Elder left the room as he closed the door.

The third door opened only 23 minutes after Long Chen came out.


Prince Lu left the formation room with a tired look on his face. As soon as he left, his eyes began looking for someone. As soon as his eyes fell on Long Chen, a smile bloomed on his face.


"Elder! What is the highest score as of this moment?" Prince Lu asked with a thoughtful look on his face.


"Currently Duan from the Wu clan has the highest score. He has 180 points." Elder Yi said with a smile.


"Oh? What about Young Friend Tian Shen? I expected him to be at the top until I came out, but he really disappointed me. Such a waste of a 7th-grade talent." Prince Lu said as he smiled.


"Elder Yi, Looks like I received the first place. I have 320 points!" Prince Lu said with a smile on a loud enough voice that others could hear. He showed the back of his badge to Elder Yi.


A loud commotion started as soon as his voice was heard.


"Little friend Shen! Even if your performance was bad, it can't be that bad! Why don't you show me your badge! Let me see your score for a moment?" Prince Lu said in a loud voice.

"The trials ahead to prove my worth? I'll crush them !! Enemies? I'll slaughter them!! "



Waking up in a new body and a new world after dying on Earth, Long Chen embarks on a new journey in a world filled with gods and demons. A world where myriad of life forms exist and humans can cultivate and become immortals.
