When those last words were spoken by both of them, Scarlet felt an unimaginable pain tearing her body apart. Her eyebrows creased while she endured the earsplitting pain. Her forehead was sweating profusely and her lips was turning a shade that was pale of color.

"Ahh!" Scarlet screamed. She almost let go of Jasper's hands. The pain was unbearable for her but Jasper's little hands held unto hers, encouraging her to endure the pain with him since he was experiencing the same torture as well... She was not alone.

When the pain finally subsided the rope connecting them both shattered into pieces. Scarlet was exhausted throughout the whole process. She couldn't open her eyes. 

Scarlet felt her body weak of strength, fall to the ground, but strong, sturdy arms caught her fall. 

Right after that, she heard a husky baritone voice.

"Finally..." the person's minty breath fanning her face. "You're mine now."

His gazed went back to his sleeping wife once again, not realizing his feet was taking a few steps closer to her bed before he sat on the edge beside her, not breaking his eyes away from her beautiful face.

"What do I do with you…?" 

His voice was hoarse as he lovingly stroked her cheek with the back of his hand. Then he gently traced the side of her face with his fingers, immersing himself with the feel of her warm skin on his palm when all of a sudden, a slender hand grabbed his wandering fingers before her exquisite eyelids fluttered open, her striking black irises looking back at him.

Jasper was stunned motionless right away. His eyes burning with embarrassment feeling he was caught doing something shameful towards her. While his mind was thinking of an excuse, the emotion inside Scarlet's eyes eased up as the corners of her crimson red lips twisted upwards. Her delicate face containing a captivating smile.

"Finally... I caught you." Her gentle yet melodious voice said, making Jasper flinch beside her.

Shiksha Jerath: I went away from home a few short months of 16 and my mum was never satisfied with me washing my clothes or when the maid. She always said the clothes were dirty or had some residual soap in them.

Sleepteddy: She broke a broom on my leg because I skipped classes once, you think I ever tried that again? xD

Sleepteddy: No. I'm Cuban. I look at other kids, when they skip nothing happens, and they keep skipping classes.

Murakami Takai: I skip all the time. Still get good marks.

Shiksha Jerath: I never skipped classes until I completed my high school. I even got an award for three years in running for never taking a single leave throughout the year.

Sleepteddy: Not bad.

Shiksha Jerath: And then the fourth year I feel so ill that I skipped school for a full 20 days.

Sleepteddy: I only started skipping after i was sure my mother wouldn't get wind of it.

Shiksha Jerath: Haha. Na I only ever skipped a handful of lectures whole I was doing my bachelors and masters. Though in college none of the proofs paid much attention to it but I was a goody goody two shoes.

Hello! Good day/eve to all of you. It's time for me to say my excuses for not updating WWCG for a long time. 

*cough cough*

Well, the first reason is because I joined a writing prompt contest and I don't trust myself "not to advertise and ask for votes" here in WWCG. 

After the contest ended… I did a bit of soul searching. I asked myself, what do I really want to do? My answer was simple. I want to be a better writer.

I then decided to take a one month break from writing WWCG and focus on reading reference books on how to "properly write" a story. I learned a lot, and after reading all those resource materials, I came to the realization that my writing style was "trashier" than I initially expected.

It hurts, but it was the truth. I'm currently changing my writing style to make it more "proper", but it's hard when old habits kick in. However, all was not wasted. I don't need to compare myself to others, because I know that doing so will only make me feel inferior.

I've re-read my first few chapters and cringed. Then I read more and cringed more to the point that I realized how much I improved. *AHEM!*

New authors focus more on getting views, comments, reviews, and collections. They set their expectations and when these "expectations" are not met… they feel bad. 

Sometimes, it gets to the point that they drop/abandon their story altogether. There is no right or wrong way on how to do this. I still don't have the qualifications to teach you on how you can increase your views, comments, and collections.

Still, I think that improving yourself is much more "fulfilling" than mere wish fulfillment. I'm going to share with all of you the tools I've learned from this one month of Soul Searching and if you really want to improve, please do try these resource materials.

Murakami gave me this Epub file called "Descriptions - Monica Wood." It covers a lot of things and for new authors, this is a powerful tool that will help you understand some of the things that "you don't know that you don't know." You can read this file by installing Epub Reader on your devices or desktop.

Another advice for discovery writers. I am, or rather was a discovery writer. I understand the fun of discovery writing, but also understood its limitations. Writing blindly, a chapter day after day , even if you have some sort of idea where the story is headed will only lead to a WALL/BLOCK in the long run.

Please, don't argue with me for now and continue to read. Even if you had the story laid out on your head, it still won't make your story coherent and the foundations you think you have is non-existent.

So, the next resource material that I am going to share with you is how to "plot your story/outline very fast." Don't underestimate this resource material, because it may be the answer to ALL OF YOUR PLOTTING/OUTLINING PROBLEMS. 

This technique was so effective that I was able to plot my 2 novels in less than an hour. Hah? You think I'm joking? A friend of mine also thought the same, but when I gave him this reference material all he was able to say was "Paternal Grandmother…"

Without further ado, go to "Youtube" and search for "How to Plot Your Novel FAST by Ellen Brock." Please, watch until the end of the video. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Ellen Brock is an editor and her advice when it comes to story writing may come in handy.

If you think, you're good enough already feel free to ignore these reference materials. However, if you want to improve, for yourself and not for other people then by all means give these resources a chance.

I may not be able to update WWCG on a regular basis, because I'm still learning and looking for better resource materials that will help my growth as a writer. If I find anything noteworthy, I will also share these materials with you. 

Even with all the things I learned and currently learning; I decided not to edit the first few chapters of WWCG. I want it to serve as a lesson to me, and a constant reminder that everything starts with the first step. No matter how small, silly, inexperienced, clumsy it may be, the first step must be taken in order to move forward.

On this dirt road with no bends, the questions that come to my mind are many, but the one that burns my lips has remained the same for more than 50 minutes.

Um, it seems that my recurring personality change is somewhat disturbing to these three plebeians.

A flash of lightning bolts goes through my brain. My brother in shorts seems to be talking to me, but I have other concerns.

I quickly get down my shorts that my other personality has pulled up to my buttocks. I pull up my pink tee-shirt that exposed half of my huge breasts and to avoid letting this unpleasant girl take control of my brain, I immerse myself in the cheat codes of Tomb Raider.

The smelly troll, whose heavy footsteps raise dust as he moves forward, is suspiciously watching me. The giant scratches his head, then unable to keep quiet any longer, he risks an oral 1VS1.

"Princess, do you have cramps, if not, why are your fingers wiggling in the air?"

Damn, I'm doing air-keyboard. The lack of a laptop is already manifesting itself. The sweat that's been running down my forehead for some time and the slight spasms I've been feeling all over my body was the reason.

It's not the first time I've had this kind of seizure. As early as Middle School, I used to escape from my classroom and rush into the computer room.

Although the digital screen doesn't allow me to relieve myself as quickly as the audible keys that sink under my fingers, little by little, I feel my crisis slipping away.

It's getting better. Yeah, it's getting better, but after frantically tapping for more than 4 hours, I'm completely exhausted.

My breathing is jerky, my heart beats too fast, so to calm myself down, I lie down in the tall grass that tickles my ears. It's really unpleasant, but let's take advantage of this moment to take stock of the few pieces of information already downloaded in my brain.

I was born under the name of Pernisia exactly 18 years ago in the realm of forward-looking fairies, also called the Madokas.

With the Kingdom of Humans in the center, the enormous Kingdom of Ocelia which regroups many races in the North, the small Kingdom of puffy dwarves in the North-West, the Kingdom of Demons in the East and the Kingdom of Beastmen in the West, this Kingdom located in the South, would be one of the 5 Kingdoms which would constitute the northern territories of a continent named, Fraya.

Some of the beings who live in these lands are able to use magic, others are extremely powerful, (like a Toriko on steroids), but the engineers of these countries would be donkeys unable to design a good video game.

Seeing my disappointed look, my brother in shorts wanted to reassure me by praising the progress of technology. He told me about the books that could now be accessible to the greatest number of people.

ISAAC ASIMOV

ISAAC ASIMOV está considerado uno de los más grandes escritores de ciencia ficción de todos los tiempos.

Nacido en Rusia, su familia decidió emigrar a Estados Unidos cuando Asimov sólo contaba con tres años de edad. Se crio, pues, en Brooklyn, Nueva York, donde su padre mantenía una tienda de venta de golosinas y revistas. 

Desde pequeño ya demostró su interés por la ciencia ficción, siendo un ávido consumidor de revistas pulp.

Su atracción por la ciencia le llevó a estudiar Ingeniería Química, donde luego lograría doctorarse en Bioquímica y ser profesor en la Universidad de Boston durante varios años, hasta que su labor literaria le llevó a abandonar el mundo de la docencia.

Tras acabar la carrera, Asimov publicó su primer cuento en 1939, en la revista Astounding Science Fiction —dirigida por el famoso John W. Campbell— y también colaboró con Amazing Stories.

Asimov nunca abandonó la escritura de cuentos y a lo largo de su vida publicó gran número de antologías.

Su obra más importante es sin duda La Fundación (1942) proyecto que se publicó en diversas entregas a lo largo de los años y que compuso poco a poco el universo en que Asimov centró la mayor parte de su trabajo. También ese año (1942) Asimov se casó con Gertrude Blugerman con la que vivió hasta 1970, momento en que se divorció.

En 1950 publicó su primera novela larga Un guijarro en el cielo, que significó el pistoletazo de salida para una larga y prolífica serie de títulos en los que Asimov no sólo trató la ciencia ficción sino que se introdujo en géneros como el policiaco, el histórico o la divulgación científica.

A lo largo de su carrera literaria recibió gran número de galardones literarios, entre los cuales se encuentran varios Premios Hugo, Nébula o Locus. Asimov formó parte, junto a Robert A. Heinlein y Arthur C. Clarke, de los mejores exponente de la época dorada de la ciencia ficción.

Asimov volvió a casarse en 1973 con Janet Opal, un año después de publicar otra de sus obras más importantes Los propios dioses (1972). Varios de sus libros fueron llevados al cine, como El hombre del bicentenario o Yo, Robot.
