"Yo, Cass called you down for dinner fifteen minutes ago. Are you alright?" Marc stood at Annabelle's door.
"Yeah I'm coming. Sorry you had to come all the way up here." She followed Marc down the stairs. Gathering her hair in a ponytail she thought about what had happened earlier. 

'I need to work on not letting names bother me. I can't believe hearing his name got me so worked up.' The boy wasn't similar to her brother in any way, except for his name. However, just hearing him call himself Rasta had caused her to sulk in bed for the rest of the day. 

'I wonder why Dora wanted to know how long it would take the school to realize something was going on. It's not like the security system is that bad.'

"Whatcha thinkin about kid?" Marc watched her as she almost fell onto the floor because she missed the chair.

"I met a transfer student today. His name is Rasta."

"Oh Annabelle, is he?" Cass asked.

"No, he is completely different. I also can't feel any energy coming off him."

"Oh..." Cass and Marc said.

"It'll be alright, you'll find them eventually Annabelle, Marc and I've got feelers out for anyone that doesn't fit the mold. Any time someone seems off one of us will take a break from the university and go check." Jazz tried to reassure her.

"Thanks Jazz, but it's been two years since you came up with the program, and it's had no hits. I think we should just assume that any survivors are so well hidden that the parameters won't show them. Either that or it won't be my siblings that it finds." 

"Hey that's a defeatist attitude it'll work, and we'll find your brothers, plus if we find another Pasefien they might be able to help us find your brothers."

Annabelle didn't answer and just finished her food. "I'm going to go for a walk, I'll let you guys know when I'm on my way home."

"I'll come with you, it's not as safe as usual since there are so many visitors."

"Thanks for worrying, but I'll be fine, and I kind of need some alone time. I'll keep my IO out so that if I need to, I can call you guys, but I don't think anything will happen."

"Alright but check in every thirty minutes." Jazz spoke from the end of the table.

"Will do." She set a timer on her IO and headed out the door.

There were a lot of people on the street, even though it was dark. Most were there because they family that were graduating, but there were a few that were there to see if they could do a last-minute transfer into the ARD. 

As she walked down the street it started to get darker, the buildings not reflecting as much light as the sky turned a dark blue.

She clenched her fists, remembering the spark of hope that had come with Rasta introducing himself. Only to have that hope crushed when she couldn't feel any energy coming off him. 



[Flashback]

Rasta sat in his highchair, grabbing his food with both hands he tried to eat it, getting more on his face than in his mouth. 

"Alright baby, let mommy help you." Her mother reached over to wipe the food off his face and picked up his spoon, scooping some of the food onto the utensil she gently put it in his mouth.

"Mom I can help." Annabelle stood to the side, hands on the chair, raised up on her tiptoes in order to see the top of the high-chair's table. 

"It's alright baby, you just finish eating." She was just about to put more food in his mouth when a burst of energy pushed her hand away, spraying food all over the space.

Annabelle watched wide eyed as her younger brother suddenly developed his base power, it was unusual for such a young child to develop powers, it was also a slight problem. Since it was hard for children to control their powers when they developed at a normal time, but for children who had them appear early it was impossible. 

"Annabelle go get your dad." 

She didn't wait around, running to her father's office she burst in without knocking. "Daddy Rasta developed powers!" 

"What?" He had already picked her up and was moving towards the dining room.

"Rasta developed powers. Mom said to come get you." She hugged his neck as he picked up speed. Worried about his son and wife.

"Emmy are you alright? Is Rasta okay?" He put Annabelle down and reached out to Rasta. Picking him up he used his own powers to cancel out the toddler's power. 

"I'm fine, and he didn't get hurt. Honey, I don't know what we're going to do. He's got too much power for a child his age. I'm worried that he'll hurt himself or someone else."

Interrupting his wife Terry said. "Let's talk about this alone." He glanced at Annabelle and said, "Hey baby, why don't you go see how Cyrus is doing with his schoolwork?"

 "Okay daddy."


[End Flashback]

'I have no idea what dad said to mom. They were talking about Rasta being early and strong. There is no way I'd miss him if he was near me. God, I wish I had just eavesdropped.' 

"Hey beautiful, want to hang out with us?" Some guys had walked up to her while she wasn't paying attention. 

"Yeah, no." She paled. 'Oh f*** I'm so used to acting like a b***h that I just responded the way I would on campus. 

"Hey b***h we were just trying to be nice, no need to act so rude!" One of them reached for her arm and dragged her towards them.

"F*** you *ss**** let me go!" She tried to shake him off but didn't have any luck.



"Hey man she said let her go, it's not nice to grab someone." A voice came out of the darkness, the person speaking hidden from sight.

“What do you mean it’s year *****?! I just took a nap, how could fifty-thousand years pass!” 
Fifty-thousand years ago Earth was evacuated, having slept though everything Annabelle must catch up to the times, find her lost brothers, and take revenge for her planet.

The weekend came again and Shawn had called me and asked if I wanted to go to Rucker Park to make some money for the weekend, i quickly agreed because I was in need of some money and I hadn't gone out with Shawn since the last time we went almost three years ago. He was in college now and staying on campus so he also needed some money.
 
I let my family know I'll be back on Sunday evening and telling them I have a tournament to go play in New York. Rasta wanted to come so I let him since flo was going to be around to watch Opal. Next morning we packed up and met Shawn at the train station. We boarded and headed out to New York. 

We got to the Rucker Park and it was crowed as ever but this time we got a hotel room so we could ball all day until the lights went out. This time Rasta joined our team so we could make more money from three vs three. It would be $600 per game which wasn't bad. 
Every two hours we had a game and we started at 12 pm until 10 pm at night.

We had won all our games and some people even recognized me from years ago when we came to play last time. Thank God my ability had upgraded from the resets being once a day to once a game or I wouldnt have been able to play so many games that day, and letting me use time freeze outside of games. We played five games which net us to $3,000.00 but we had to pay our fees so in total we made $2,900.00 that day which wasn't bad.

Tommorow we will play even longer so we were hoping to make alot more. At 5am next day we were out to get some breakfast to eat and hanged out till they opened the park at 8am. As soon they opened we were there and ready to ball. We ran games until it was time to go at 8pm. We made $6,480.00 in total after two days in New York, I was shocked and imagined if we had five members in the team we would have made even more.

We each took home $2,160.00 which made us pretty happy and excited to bring others along next time. When we got to the train station a guy we remembered as one of the refs met us there and took a gun out on us telling us to give him all our money. Rasta and Shawn froze but I quickly used time freeze and took the gun from him and pointed it at him shocking him until he pissed himself about how the tables changed real quick. He asked me how I got it and I told him to scram causing Shawn and Rasta to bust out laughing. 

Rasta than told us he had his gun on him so the minute he took his eyes off us he was going to stick him up and take our money back. I gave the gun to Rasta after wiping my finger prints off because I didn't want anything on my record on my way to the NBA so they would have something negative to say about me when I got there. 

The rest of the trip was uneventful. We got home and had Shawn spend the night since it was late and he had alot of money on him.

8ਵੀ  suru hoi sigi dastaan ishq pureh da fadia si rasta  ਸੋ , ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਆ 8ਵੀ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਮਸੂਮ ਜਹੀ ਕੁੜੀ ਤੋਹ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸੇਜਲਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਛੋਟਾ ਨਾਂ ਸਨਾ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਵਾਚੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਆ ,ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟੀ ਜਹੀ ਇਸ਼ਚਾ ਰੱਖਦੀ ਆ  ਇੱਕ ਸੱਚਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ , ਲੇਕਿਨ ਕੁੜੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਭੋਲੀ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਿ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਕਦੇ ਦੇਖੀਆਂ ਨੀ ਬੱਸ ਲੱਭਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ ਕਰਦੀ ਆ । ਓਹਨੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦਾਰੀ ਵਾਰੇ ਕੁਛ ਨੀ ਸੀ ਪਤਾ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਬੁਰਾ ਭਲਾ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਾਫੀ ਦਰਦ ਸਹ ਚੁਕੀ ਸੀ। ਓਹਦੇ ਕੋਈ ਕਰੀਬੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਓਹਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿਆਰ ਸੀ ਸਵਰਗ ਸਿਧਾਰ ਗਏ। ਜਿਸ ਕਰਨ ਇਹ ਨਿਕੀ ਜਹੀ ਬੱਚੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਉਦਾਸ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਤੇ ਉਹਦੇ ਪਿਓ ਵੱਲੋ ਵੀ ਇਨੀ support ਤੇ pyaar ਨੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਨੀ ਓਹਦੇ ਦਾਦੇ ਤੇ ਚਾਚੇ ਕੋਲੋ ਸੀ । ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਦਮ ਟੂਟੀ ਪਈ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਲੱਭਦੀ ਸੀ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਕੁੱਛ ਪਤਾ ਨਈਂ ਲੱਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਓ ਕਿ ਕਰੇ । ਬਹੁਤ disturbed ਸੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਾਰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈਕੇ । ਓਹਦੇ ਕੋਲੇ ਕੋਈ ਸਮਝਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਵੀ ਨੀ ਸੀ , ਓ ਕਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਕਰੇ ਕਿ ਓਹਦੇ ਘਰ 'ਚ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ ਤੇ ਝਗੜੇ ਓਹਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ। ਓਹਨੂੰ ਘਰੋਂ ਉਹ ਪਿਆਰ ਨੀ ਮਿਲ ਰਿਆ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਤੇ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਉਹ ਭਾਲ ਕਰਦੀ ਆ। ਉਹ ਕਲੇ ਬੈਠਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਰੋਂਦੀ ਸੀ , ਕੁਰਲਾਉਂਦੀ ਸੀ ਲੇਕਿਨ ਕਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੁੱਛ ਨੀ ਦਸਦੀ ਸੀ। ਓਹਦੀ 8ਵੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੋ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਸਹੇਲੀ ਬਣੀ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਸੇ, ਤੇ ਉਹ ਕੁੜੀ  ਸਨਾ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ 'ਚ ਸੱਚੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਲੈ ਆਈ, ਤੇ ਉਹ ਥੋੜਾ ਖੁਸ਼ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਈ। 8ਵੀ 'ਚ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਊ ਅੱਡਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਵੀ ਸਕੂਲ 'ਚ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਗਬਰੂ ਜਵਾਨ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਬਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨਾ ਨੂੰ purpose ਵੀ ਕਰਿਆ । ਲੇਕਿਨ ਜਿਵੇ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਭੋਲੀ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਇਨੀ ਸਮਝ ਨੀ ਸੀ ਓਹਦੇ 'ਚ ਓਹਨੇ ਉਹ ਮੁੰਡੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਫ਼ ਮਨਾਂ ਕਰਤਾ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ " ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਭਾਈ ਸਮਜਦੀ ਸੀ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ purpose ਕਿਊ ਕਰੀਏ?" ਉਹ ਵੇਚਾਰਾ ਚੁੱਪ-ਚਾਪ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਮੂੰਹ ਲਟਕਾ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਵੀ ਕਿ ਵੇਚਾਰਾ ਸਨਾ ਨੇ ਗੱਲ ਹੀ ਐਸੀ ਕਹੀ ਸੀ😂 । ਇਸ ਟੋਹ ਬਾਦ ਆਇਆ  8ਵੀ ਦਾ result  ਸਨਾ ਦੀ 9.4  cgpa ਆਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸੀ ਓਹਦੇ ਨੰਬਰਾਂ ਟੋਹ ਤੇ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਟੋਹ। ਸੋ ਭੈਣੋ ਭਰਾਵੋ 9ਵੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਅਗਲੇ chapter ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਾਂਗੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਹੱਸਦੇ ਰਹੋ ਮੁਸਕੁਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੋ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਪਿਆ ਦਾ ਥਿਆਣ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਰਹੋ💕 ।। ਸੱਤ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ🙏🏻

The man understood where they were headed, and the payment for the trip would be appropriate. But the then added "The trip will likely take two days, and we'll rest in Rasta, just outside of Ostia. Getting inside the city takes around three hours, even with the proper paperwork and carriage."
Jackson commented as he was loading up his pack "Yeah, that's no problem. It surely beats walking."
After they loaded up all their belongings, they set out. Once again, the salty breeze greeted them as they left the city. The salty air gave way to the fresh scent of pine and sweetgrass. The houses began to turn to farms and stables, and the road turned from bricks back to dirt. As the sun began to climb high into the sky, the brothers passed out. They boys then awoke to the driver, Henry, yelling at someone with a cart to move. As they drove into the city of Rasta, the sun was just beginning to set over the horizon. As they gathered their belongings to set into an inn, Henry came over with bad news. "It seems that the inn is already booked full, so we'll have to sleep in the carriage."
Both brother looked at each other with slight smiles on their faces, ones Henry didn't know how to read. A few minutes later, the group had taken a path twords a lake. The lake was fairly small, but had many different streams leading into it. They parked the carriage in a small clearing, and tied the horses up to a tree with a long leash. As the horses enjoyed their extra bit of freedom, Henry followed the boys over to one of the connecting streams. Though Jackson was an avid fisherman, he normally fished with a rod, not a sword. As the fish came into view over a shallow portion of the stream, Jason buried his blade into its side. He did this another four times, until he thought he would enough fish for all three of them. The stallions were quite fine eating natural grasses and bushes. He took his blade, and made all the fish into two fillets. He then took out a little glass jar that was filled with a mix of certain spices, and lightly sprinkled it over each fillet. He then stuck a stick through the fish, and let them roast on the fire Jackson had made. By the time the sun was past the horizon, they had a camo set up, a meal, and a few happy horses. After they ate, Henry mentioned "So where are we all going to sleep?" With that, Jason motioned him to where Jackson was. Jackson had set up two hammock like pieces of cloth between two trees. "You'll be sleeping in the carriage if you so choose. We'll be over in our hommocks, so where you sleep is up to you."
As Henry took his seat on a log, he sighed and said "Of all the different people I've driven places, you two sure are the most memorable... So how do you two know so much about Thai kind of stuff anyways?"
Henry was only used to driving for rich aristocrats, or well endowed business owners. So when they told him how they grew up, he was quite flabbergasted at the whole thing. A set of commoner brothers being able to afford his charges, that was simply a story he tell his friends. As the night dragged on, the left the fire to smolder. As Henry went to check on the horses, Jason and Jackson went into the lake to clean up a bit. After their bathe, Henry went into the carriage. They boys then wandered over to their hammock's, and quickly went to sleep. They awoke to the light of the sun, and quickly packed up. By the time Henry had woken up, the brothers had already put their packs into the carriage, and the horses back carriage. They also gathered quite a bit of grasses they saw them especially liking. Henry then said "Why didn't you wake me, I could have helped?"
The brothers then said in unison "Your our driver, so we could at let you sleep in a bit."
Henry, again, was shocked. He had heard about people finishing sentences, but not being in perfect timing for such a long statement like that one. But he got into his seat, they set off for Ostia. He would have needed to get feed and supplies for the horses, but nature took care of that. They continued down the road, and saw many other people heading in the same direction. Most families that could try to afford to get the chance for their kids to get a spirit didn't have the spare change for a carriage. The spirit trials lasted for five days, so their was quite a lot of time to do it. As they began to pass by people, Jackson had noticed a few if the people walking. All of which were sons or daughters of people he once taught either sailing or fishing to. One of the kids locked eyes with him, and they opened up as wide as they would. The crowd if people only got thicker as they got closer to the city. Most people moved out of the way of the carriage, but they had to wait a few times for them to move our of the way. Henry never yelled at them, but Jason could tell he was quite agitated. As they passed by people, he could tell they didn't like being moved off the road, nonetheless by someone who they saw as rich. Little did they know, the two people inside only were in that carriage by a decision made two days ago. Shortly after, the pines and oaks gave way to trees the boys had never seen before. Thick red tinted trees that had trunks 30 meters around, and branches that stretched at least a hundred meters into the air. Because the foliage was so thick, only patches of moss grew over the scattered rocks and logs. The scent of pine was replaced with an earthy smell, and no farms seemed to exist within the bounds of the woods. They continued on for what seemed like hours, until they began to see  the edge of the city. Large grey walls scaled up at least thirty meters. The material if the wall was something the brothers had never seen before. So Jason asked "Henry, what are the walls made out of? I've never seen anything like it." Henry smiled for a second, and then added "and here I thought you boys knew a lot. That material your referring to is concrete. Many of the buildings in the city are made out of it, as it makes the walls look seem less. Richer families have houses that are even dyed different colors." Jason was still confused "So what's the difference of stone or brick to this concrete material?"
"Well son, in don't know too much past that myself. All I know by building standards is that it's maluable when building with, and is very strong. But forget that, we should be pulling up to the gate here shortly. Some soldiers will ask you questions, so speak quick and smart. We should have no trouble if you just keep your brother in check."
Jason wasn't very fond of what Henry said, but he knew he could be a bit boisterous when taking with people. To their right, they saw three lines of people that stretched back at least a kilometer. The sheer amount of people was something the boys had never seen, or even figured could be in one place. To the left of the lines, was a special gate. Unlike the one to their right, it was done up with fancy metal engravings and colored stone. While it's functions were still the same, it was meant to be more pleasant to the probable nobles that would be using it. They only had three carriages in front of them, so it didn't take much time to be checked. Two soldiers looked around the carriage, while one went up to Henry for paperwork and cause of coming in. After the inspection, they were let through the gate. As they passed through, they could get a full view of the city. Streets bustling with people, carriages that made theirs look like a crappy knockoff, and buildings that ran just as high is the trees they saw before. The center of the streets were filled with trees and shrubs, while the streets were made with what seemed to be some kind of grey stone. But everything pales in comparison to what they saw up above. A full brigade of soldiers, were flying above the city. The boys were now dumbfounded by what they were seeing before, and the people flying was the icing on the cake. Even Henry was quite astonished by the sight, since he had only been to the capital twice before. Henry then helped the boys unload their belongings, and they parted ways. Now in the bustling streets of Ostia, they had to find somewhere to sleep. As they were walking around, they heard a large sum of cheers coming from a large building to their right. From what they could remember, it seemed like a stadium. The boys wanted to look around the city, so they thought it might be interesting. As they walked inside, they were met by an array of different guards. "Are you two going to compete or watch?"
The brothers looked at one another, and said in unison "Were going to compete!"

Nirjala ne tab haske boli ki arey pagli hariya ka hona ya naa hona ek he bat hai agar daman aur to ek dusre se pyar karti hai to maje se apni jindagi ji muje koi problem nahi. mai khusi ke mara jhum uhti, mana nirjala ko thank you kaha aur unlogo ko wahi chor ke daman ke pas aa gayi khus khabri sunane.
