First of all let me introduce myself.

I am a webnovel addict. I am on this app for a very long time. I am on this app for around 3 official years and 4 unofficial because I didn't sign in for around a year.

Now in my four years I have read a ton of fics and fanfics. Now some were good, some were great and some were underrated or overrated.

Now I have seen a problem with various fics that they are not on the spot that they deserve the content in those fics is amazing, creator is continuously in touch with readers and consider their suggestions. But with all this they are not going up in the rankings. So what's the problem.

Now I am not an expert in this subject but throughout the years I have observed webnovel ranking system and I think that I can help. So let's start.

BOOK COVER:- a book cover is the first thing a reader will see when he will search for any book. So make sure that you have a good book cover.

Some creators leaves the book cover blank that is a mistake according to me. Because the first impression comes from the book cover itself. If your book cover is not good enough and your content is good even then most of the readers will not read your book.

They will not even click on your book. I too am on this list. I have avoid various books because their book cover was not good or didn't give that feel for a good one and half year.

So please choose a good cover. You can easily search it on a Google and put down a disclaimer.

HOW TO CHOOSE A COVER :- choose a cover which define your book, like I have seen various times authors put a cover of cute things which are not in the books, that is downright a crime according to me. I mean your book is about war and mc conquering the world and you are putting a cover of a girl playing in sea 😡😡😡, it is a crime according to me.

If you are writing a hentai or echhi then it is OK to put down a cover of a cute loli or SLUTTY character of that anime or fic.

But you topic is war and then you are putting a cover of a girl then it is not appropriate.

You should put a cover which define your book.

Actually you should put a cover with a quote defining your books topic or main character.

For example : your main objective in the book is that your main character is going to conquer the world then you should put a picture of a king who is sitting on throne. Or a picture of a majestic castle.

And if you are putting a picture with a quote like a king seeing his subjects with quote like " energy and persistence conquer everything." Like that.

Or if your books topic is about war than you should put a cover of battlefield or flames.

So all in all put a cover which alienate with your books topic.

TITLE:- title is second most important thing after the cover. A title should give the feel of the books topic. Like a war god in multiverse or the new void god or God's wraith, son of King etc.

A title according to me is a short preview of the book if it is not good many people will not read your book.

So atleast think before titling book. I will not tell the name of the books but I have seen the titles which has nothing to do with book or mc.

Keep your title as close as possible to mc's dream or his personality.

So that's it for title. 

SYNOPSIS :- my long lost archenemy. I am bad at it truly bad at it. My advice put what ever you think will give a preview of your book. 

Your synopsis should be in 3rd person because it gives a good feel for me than first person. 

Also keep this between 70 to 150 words. Long synopsis are not a good thing, believe me. 

CONTENT :-  before writing and posting always remember you are your own boss, you don't own anyone so write what you want not what others want. 

Write for yourself and never stop writing because of mean cmnt or haters. They are just a stepping stone for you. If someone suggests something than think  if it is applicable than act upon it. 

Try to respond to your readers or stay in touch with them via discord channel. 

Also in last of every chapter remind your readers to review you and vote for you because sometime we readers lost in the book so much that we forget to do these things. Literally. 

UPLOAD :-  also upload as fast as possible. And please upload on Monday. Uploading on Monday is necessary for ranking. Because readers have something to read and you will have stones from the start.

What is a title? The title is the core of your book, it gives it a definition. What is the use of the title? The title is the first thing people see when exploring books. Having that perfect catchy title will help you hook up more readers.

Now how to make this Catchy Title? Well here are a few tips in creating a fitting title for your fiction. Number One,  Brainstorm ideas. Write down every word that comes to mind about your story. Include keywords about the topic, character names, phrases you love, and anything else that comes to mind. Arrange these in different combinations to see if anything speaks to you.

Here is an example of an Array of words: Hero, Ryan, Magical, Fantasy, Swords, Adventure.

Example of a Bad Title: The Hero Ryan's Magical Adventure in a Fantasy World

Compared to this Catchy Title: A Hero's Journey or Ryan's Magical Adventure.

or you can make it shorter: The Unsung Hero or Child's Dream

Second, Study titles in your genre. Look for stories or books that are popular with your target audience. Readers may be drawn to your work because it reminds them of something they already like.

For example, many young adult fantasy novels hinge on one or two intriguing words: Twilight, Bitten, Cinder, The Selection.

There is something called the Internet where you can search for different examples of Titles for the same genre.

Examples of Video Game fiction titles: The Legend of Zelda, Game Consoles, Moonlight Sculptor, Trapped in a Video Game.

Examples of Fantasy fiction titles: Harry Potter, Is it wrong to pick up girls in the dungeon? , Alice in Wonderland, Percy Jackson

These titles have one thing in common they are all related to the main character or the main story. It reveals information to the people but not too much.

Third, Make the title exciting. Dull or generic titles won't catch the reader's eye. Titles such as "The Tree" or "The Train" might name the subject or a symbol in the story, but it doesn't excite the reader.

Try adding a more descriptive word to the basic title. Successful titles using the above words include The Giving Tree, A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, The Mystery of the Blue Train, and The Orphan Train.

Utilizing the keywords you've brainstorm you can create amazing titles by bending and twisting the words.

Example of an Array: Weird, Male, Friendly Monster, Room

You can Create: My (Weird) Unusual Friend or The Mysterious Friendly Monster

Using the Synonyms and Antonyms of the words you have in your list making them more appealing and attractive.

Fourth, Make the title easy to remember. Titles are not only supposed to catch the reader's attention but also spread the word about your work. Something too difficult to remember won't appeal to editors or agents, and your reader won't remember and be able to tell someone else the title. You want to come up with an exciting, yet catchy and easy to remember, title.

Read your title out loud. Does it roll off the tongue? Is it exciting? Does it sound boring? Would you check out this title? The answers to these questions can help you revise the title.

Example, What would you likely remember after an hour? The Murder on Wzcyiubjekistan Express or Murder n the Orient Express. Surely it would be the latter.

Fifth, Pay attention to the wording. A title should be appropriate for the story, but it doesn't need to confuse your potential readers. Make sure that your wording doesn't depict the story as something it is not. Your title shouldn't sound like a science fiction story if it's a romance.

Example if your title is Hacking System the first thing that comes into your reader's mind is "This Story is a Sci-Fi story with a system as Hack literally means to use a computer to gain unauthorized access to data in a system.

Sixth, Use strong, vivid language. A title needs to stand out. Strong action words, vivid adjectives, or intriguing nouns can all make your title compelling. Look at the words in your potential title. Are there synonyms that are more descriptive or unique? Can you choose a word that has a less general meaning? Some words are so common their meaning doesn't impact readers in the same way.

For example, the use of the word desire in Eugene O'Neill's Desire Under the Elms is far more interesting than Love Under the Elms.

It's like choosing the word war over battle because war gives that strong bloodshed feel. Example World Battle I or World War I, do you see my point here?

Also, don't use common words like System this, Cheats that, and so on and so forth. The reason is simple, your story will become a needle in a haystack becoming covered up.

Seventh, Seek inspiration. Book titles often derive from established great works, such as the Bible, Shakespeare, song lyrics, or other sources. Write down phrases that are meaningful, beautiful, or intriguing to you.

Examples of this type of title include The Grapes of Wrath; Absalom, Absalom; Gaudy Night, The Fault in Our Stars.

This is quotes or phrases that give a deeper meaning just like the Japanese manga titles. Is it wrong to pick up girls in the dungeon?, Problem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren't They?

Eight, Read your own work. Titles are often memorable lines from the book or story itself. Readers may enjoy the moment when they realize why a story has a particular title.

Examples of this type of title include To Kill a Mockingbird, Catch-22, and Catcher in the Rye.

This types of titles can be the most repeated quote your protagonist or antagonist uses like. Maybe Someday... or I am Supreme. sleek and chill titles.

Ninth, Write down your inspirations when they come. Often, good writing ideas come to you when you least expect it. You may forget these, so keep a paper and pencil handy to jot down ideas that come to you whenever inspiration may strike.

Like The Railroad above the highway, The Barks Next Door, The Flickering Night Light, or The Sudden Flood.

You can find these stuff literally everywhere example ask the people around you or look at the news headline. the places around you. the usual daily things you see with imagination.

Tenth, Add Emotions. This is what you need. Putting your heart is always better than just doing your best. make your title feel personal like it is a part of you.

Eleventh, Know your audience. Keep your audience in mind when drafting a headline. The world's most shocking title may contain the words "harem," "sex," "lies," and "videotape," but it could be a complete turn-off to an audience of monks.

Twelveth, SEO optimize. Include a "focus keyword" to help your writing to get discovered in search engines. Build the headline around the most important keyword in your written text and ensure that it is fewer than 70 characters. Additional words are considered too long for Google to index. 

This will help your story appear at the top of Google searches on the front page

Thirteenth, Create a knowledge vacuum. A headline that leaves the reader wanting more has done its job. Take this one for example: "These Pieces Of Advice Found On Instagram Could Change Your Life." Does it make you want more? Does it intrigue you? Your readers will probably look for more information in the rest of your article.

Fourteenth, Solve a problem. After reading a headline, readers may wonder, "Why should I read on?" Many decide to do so because they believe from the title of the post that you, the author, can solve their problem. Consider the headline of this post; perhaps you are reading with the hope it will solve your headline-writing problem?!

Fifteenth, Use numbers. People love numbers, especially in headlines. Numbers are something we know and feel comfortable with; they give us a sense of familiarity and advise our brains on how long an article may take to read. With numbers, we can justify the exchange of information for our time – especially with numbers that describe how many points will be covered. For example: "10 Ways to cook eggs that your mother never told you about."

Sixteenth, Cheat. Yes, you heard right. Don't be afraid to look for inspiration wherever you can. If you write for a publication, review older copies and look for examples that you know would work with your audience and tweak them. ViralNova.com, a website that repackages content that is already available, does a great job of writing compelling headlines. Tim Ferris created multiple titles for his book, The 4 Hour Work Week, before settling on the mega-hit. He ran a series of Google ads and looked at the click-through rates, simply choosing the one with the highest.

Seventeenth, Use technology. There is a tool called Portent's Content Idea Generator, and it is a piece of brilliance. Plug in your topic or focus keyword into the little text box hit a button, and bam – out pops a catchy headline in less time than one minute and seven seconds. At the very least, it could
trigger ideas.

Overall, a catchy headline should speak directly to the part of the brain that subconsciously cares. However, a catchy headline is nothing without quality, thoughtful, engaging content that is shared and admired. Remember: that's the reason we wanted the catchy headline in the first place. And until we start reading from the bottom up, catchy headlines are here to stay.

Basically, these are randomizers in the internet. Search things like Fantasy fiction title randomizer. This will give you titles like White Willow Sunset, Brisking Adventure, and so on.

If you manage the title you like integrate or simply change some of the words in the title with the words that you've brainstormed.

But suddenly I've also discovered a very infuriating and potentially harmful side to Wattpad for all authors.
Wattpad isn't as trustworthy and secure as it claims to be.
For the past month now I have been dealing with a disgruntled Wattpad user who was angry over the fact an account of mine was shut down. (It is not my main account.) This user admitted, to me and others, to trying to obtain the password to my account so that they could take it over and post a new part to the books on my account. An action they never once consulted me over or obtained permission to do so. It was completely behind my back.
In light that they couldn't get into my account, this user then did the next best thing and created an account that was a duplication of my own, with full intentions of mimicking and continuing my account as their own.
Once this was brought to my attention from fellow friends, I immediately reported to Wattpad of the duplication and attempted theft of my account. I was advised to "mute" the user so they would not be able to contact me at all after that and I did so on all fronts.
However, this user didn't stop there. After muting the duplicated account, I received messages from a separate account that held an admittance of attempted theft among other things. This user still found a way to contact me.
 
So, naturally, once more I muted that account as well and reported the confession to Wattpad.
 
 
I received no help in return from Wattpad, as if they weren't even at all concerned about the attempted theft of my account, or that this person was forging my account as if it was their own. They refused to shut the user down.
I was even directed to submit a DMCA when I found the user's profile description to say they were going to post a book using my title in order to continue what I was doing on my own account because they couldn't obtain by my password. After filing my report, I received this from Wattpad support, "You may not submit a DMCA when there is no work that is violating your copyright. Similar plots, themes, characters, and titles do not constitute as copyright. Continuous reports of false submissions will result in account suspension."
But it wasn't a similar plot or theme I was reporting. This person had every intention of continuing my book on their profile, and the proof laid right in their description. Still, I was shut down for an alleged false claim — even when I was directed to fill out the claim by them in the first place — despite everything that had already happened and once again nothing was done about the user.
Then a week went by with no activity. I frequently monitored this duplicated account since Wattpad would do nothing, worried something more would happen and absolutely livid Wattpad didn't take its security seriously.
 
Then suddenly I received a third harassment message from yet another account of the same user. A message that was a direct slam at me for muting their accounts and ceasing communication. Livid, I again reported the harassment, even provided screen shots of the confession to trying to gain the password to my account and the slam for further proof of my claim.
 
And what did Wattpad do?
Nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
 
Instead of taking action against this user for harassment and attempted theft, I was told "Repeated submissions are considered an abuse of our system which is in direct violation of our conduct guidelines. If you continue to submit these reports we will have to take necessary action."
I was just threatened to be suspended or shut down myself as if I am the bad guy in this claim. All because someone duplicated my account and it isn't considered a security risk someone tried to steal my account and then mimic it because they are seeing it as a "similar theme" even after all the proof I provided. In fact, they didn't even address the proof I provided in their shut down message to me, and that was something they asked specifically for.
Wattpad is not as secure as they say they are.
Wattpad is not as trustworthy as they claim to be.
Wattpad apparently believes it is okay and not a violation of their conduct guidelines for anyone to log on, pick a random user, and then go duplicate their account using a similar username and pretend to be them.
This is not right. This is not fair. They are essentially advocating account theft by refusing to do anything and instead threatening to shut me down if I do not back off. The worst part, they are claiming their reasoning as "similar story lines or plot themes are not enough to constitute a copyright violation in a story, and much less for a general account theme."
And yes, I understand titles and similar story lines aren't protected by copyright. But when a user deliberately tries to steal control of your account – admits it even, and then goes to create a duplicated account of yours because they couldn't gain access to what they wanted, they consider that no violation at all in any form?
How is that okay? How is attempted theft and duplication okay?
The answer is it isn't, and the public needs to know where Wattpad stands when it comes to the security of user accounts and the safety of not being forged by someone else.
 
Wattpad needs to be made aware something needs to change in their policy.
This is not okay. And this is dangerous to authors everywhere.
Please share this, and please help me get the word out before it happens to someone else, before people realize the enormous, dangerous loophole Wattpad holds in their guidelines.",.

Hoh… so these guys are werewolves. Even one of them is blessed by the wolf mountain guardian. Should I track them back to their camp and eliminate them or should I not underestimate them?
I would've disposed of the weaker guardians by now if I knew where they were but this might be a chance to find one of them.

The last thing they saw was my glowing black and yellow eyes with an X and diamond in each eye. A blood-red mist was seeping out the sides of my mouth creating a figure enough to make some piss their pants before dying.
"M-master! W-what are you doing here? D-did Yin do a bad job…?" Yin stutters with a gloomy face while removing her oni mask.
The recruits were right behind her and removed their masks as well, with faces of awe at how quickly I took their opponents out. From what I noticed they weren't in a life-threatening situation but the bandits were scampering around in random directions, making them hard to slice with daggers.
"No… Yin was doing a good job but I just needed you guys for a special mission," 
I proceeded to explain to them that when I receive the signal from my blood minion that they will go and scout the area. It should be relatively easy since the guardian shouldn't come out because of mere assassins.
For now, I let them rest in their rooms while I gave Yin her reward. I knew instantly what she wanted as a reward, so she went to change into her clothes that I usually pet her in, while I took a bath with my wives who had just woken up.
"Why are you girls up so early?" I ask.
"I just had a feeling you were coming back," Aika says while I massaged her back. 
"Aika *yawn* woke us all up," Kumo says sleepily.
Homura just nodded her head while sinking into the bath with only her head poking out.
"Here that should be enough. I want to assimilate some of the new skills I got while on my hunting trip," I say while sinking into the bath as well.
"Must be nice having an OP skill that lets you obtain skills through just eating. Also, how did you even gain the [Assimilation] skill," Kumo complains.
"You could probably assimilate your skills if you get Ava to make you a ring with the assimilation enchant on it," 
"Maybe I'll do that then. The only problem is, I don't have many skills to assimilate," Kumo replies.
I didn't respond as I used [Assimilation] on my new skills.

I thought it was useless to keep around the [Domain of the Night (Locked] since it was constantly locked and I had no way of unlocking it. The star who blessed me and gave me these skills might get mad at me but… I don't care that much.
"I'm about to use my body modifications so if you don't want to see me in pain, just turn away,," I say while rising out of the water.
"Not yet~ I've been holding back for 2 nights and I can't hold back any longer so you have to satisfy us right now babe," Aika says kneeling behind me while hugging me.
*sigh*

I was currently laying in front of a wind stone to cool my body off. It was nice to let out some steam and use the new feature of [The Art of Sex: 4] but it quickly got worse since it was getting too hot. 
Not just what we were doing but our body temperatures were causing us to be slightly faint. Except for me who got the full brunt of the force and almost completely passed out. 
As soon as I cooled off, my maids then helped put on a long black dress that went down to my ankles. I proceeded to then put on my jewelry and decide to do my body modifications later.
I walked with my wives to the throne room where we had a huge breakfast and I told them about the new monsters I encountered. They were shocked at how I got so close to the border of the [Mountain of Twilight] because no intelligent monster has ever dared to go near it. 
They said that some humans are capable of killing us instantly with just one swing of their sword. Well, this was coming from the stories that Kumo heard so I don't know about the validation.
Once I filled my belly to the brim, I patted my mouth with something that was a napkin. It was made from poisonous silk which is why it was so soft. 
I really am rich... using silk to clean my mouth… geez.
My wives all went to do their own thing while Yin entered the throne room with an excited grin. My maids cleaned up the table and removed it from the throne room, leaving me and Yin alone.
I sat on my throne while patting my lap which gestured for Yin to lay on my lap. Yin happily crawled onto my lap while I pet her head. 
While I was giving Yin her reward I decided to check on the blood minions progress. 
I was able to continue stroking Yin's hair while switching my eyesight with my blood minion. 
I saw that my blood minions slipped into the leather armor that the werewolves wore. 
From what I was seeing, the werewolves were currently fighting a red poison salamander which they had slight trouble with. Their skills with the sword were… acceptable but that was the only thing they were good at. 
The [Moonlight Control] that one of the werewolves had was useless at this time of the day since the sun had just risen. And the sword skills that they had did very little damage despite their powerful names.
… 
With a decent amount of injuries on their body, they finally killed the red poison salamander. After about 10 minutes.
Disappointed, I returned to my eyesight and muttered,
"Boring. This will be too easy,"

Volume 1. 
This volume has a mix of action and kingdom building, plus the grammar isn't that good. I'm going back to the earlier chapters and editing them when I have free time. Also, the pacing is really quick but I'm trying to fix it by adding things that I didn't earlier, such as explaining the number of citizens that are multiplying each day. 

Volume 2. 
This volume is a segway to the third volume which will be action-packed. It introduces new characters that will be necessary for the third volume. 
Most of the chapters will bore some readers since there is minimal action and MC is disabled for half of the volume.
Grammar gets much better halfway through but the beginning still needs some improvement, grammar-wise.

Volume 3. 
In progress.

MC is pretty overpowered but that doesn't mean she wins easily all the time.

I'm thinking of making this a pretty long novel so development will be slow.

I'm also using this novel to improve my writing since I'm kind of bad at it. This also explains why my writing is terrible in the beginning and slowly gets better throughout the novel.

Also, the beginning of this story is similar to "Epic of Caterpillar" but it differs later on. It wasn't my intent to copy "Epic of Caterpillar" but I guess parts of the story stuck in my mind but I promise it differs later.

After a bit more experimentation, i was able to edit and add anything and everything on my canvas, kinda like typing on a text file, i just had to think of what i wanted to add and it would appear there instantly, the only reason the information on the book i read appeared slowly, was because i had no prior knowledge on it.

I tried just spewing a lot of novel names and anime names i knew and it my canvas was filled with them in under a minute, a lot of the time was just used to recall the name. 

I also tried just filling my canvas with information that seemed like i would forget them after a while or things I'd take a long time to recall slowly, such as math formulas i remember from school, some elements, and other mundane stuff to see if can also remember them with perfect accuracy.

After that, i noticed how cluttered and messy my canvas was, well since i can just feel everything on my canvas rather than look at it, my imagination did picture it like a giant white rectangle just filled with text.

It felt just like a typing a document... Where i could add and remove text at will, and just leave it there, anytime i needed any information from it, i could just call it into focus and it would be there in literally an instant.

Only about another 10 minutes have passed since I've started experimenting because there is no lag between what i want to do with the canvas at all.

Seeing as how it was similar to txt file or document... I wonder if i could create... Folders,
the computer folders you use to organize all your files.

I was too focused on just adding text onto my canvas, i didn't even try to see if anything else could be done, so while experimenting i tried "drawing" a little bunny in the corner, and it looked exactly like how i pictured it! 

You know those times you have this amazing image in your brain but when you draw it out it looks like shit? That's the exact image of the rabbit that is now on my canvas! Well obviously since it was sent directly from my brain it would be more accurate than my drawing skills.

On to those folders... I tried imagining a folder icon appearing on my canvas with the ability to store... anything, anything that the canvas can store of course.

And there it was.

Let's see... I imagined all the text excluding my name and quote to enter the folder, and they disappeared in an instant. Wow, easier than expected.

I willed the folder to open and unlike a computer folder that overlayed and covered everything else, it was like i could see two canvases at the same time! One with my name, quote, and folder, and one with all the text i put on there.

Though it felt much cleaner, the text was still everywhere, but if i could make a folder... Whats stopping me from making a txt file? 

Thus I imagined a lot of txt files, one for the book i read and a whole load more for the relative information i dumped, their only purpose was to store text.

Ahh... nice and clean, going back to my canvas' capabilities, it obviously pulls on the knowledge that i can remember because in order draw onto it, I'd have to imagine what to draw, and i can't draw what i can't remember.

That would mean that in order for me to become a genius solely using the memory capabilities of my canvas, I'd have to read all the relevant books... one by one. 

During my experimentation, i tried reading a book that was in French, and while i was able to perfectly remember the text, i was unable to understand any of it and i more or less just copy pasted some French from the book onto the canvas.

Actually. I haven't checked about anything related to this world in the slightest... Being too busy messing with my newfound ability, though i say that, only an hour has passed since I've entered the library, and it just only passed noon, so i still have a lot of time to research before having to sleep in an alleyway.

I had looked around the library taking note off all the subjects and book topic that each lane of bookshelves represented, being surprised and elated when i found a lane labeled "Magic"

I had assumed all the amazing things i saw was due to advanced technology but was actually a combination of magic and technology!! Though a famous quote did say any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic, and to me and a lot of novels i read, magic was created due to the presence of tangible energy that was used and researched by sapient lifeforms to be used as a tool. 

I had entered the lane with excitement, searching around and picked up a relatively thin book titled, "Introductions to magic".

With such a simple and understandable title like that, i excitedly sat down on a nearby table and opened the book to read it.

The content of the book had met up to my expectations and was seriously unlike a brief or vague description of what magic is like in most works of fiction, further solidifying that i was in another world, it had explained that since the big bang, which was also  a theory in this world, an ever-present energy was everywhere in the world, permeating and changing everything around us, living and non-living.

This energy was called Vaes, the same term that the nurse used, and that all living things had Vaes that had slowly seeped into them, not there originally, so living things would still be able to live normally if the Vaes in the atmosphere were to suddenly all disappear, but after millions of generations, living things have evolved to easily merge with and absorb Vaes and use it to their advantage, Vaes changing the DNA and internal structure of many living things since the beginning, giving them amazing abilities they were able to passively use or actively call upon.

And it had given humans the ability to perceive and shape it, allowing us to draw upon the Vaes that within our body.

Magic had always been perceived in novels and fiction on earth as either something with complex formulas and rituals, or just imagining what you want to happen, but the book explained how both methods were possible for it, one method not being better than the other but having their own distinct advantages.

The method of imagining called upon your image of the spell and your will, as well as a unique and vivid perception of the world, and was mostly used by children who had great imagination and had only just recently entered the world, and those who have experienced a lot of different and unique things in their life, magic was totally affected by the state of your mind and thus emotions would also affect it in great ways, and some have attempted to become stronger by using their emotions and the method of imagining to strengthen their magic. Though it wouldn't on those who rarely expressed or felt emotion. This method was powerful but lacking in complexity, anyone was able to use it easily, but it was also very hard to master.

The method of formulas was for those with a detailed understanding of the world, those who relied on the rules of science or mathematics, as they believed if Vaes was part of the world, it also followed the rules of the universe, despite its capabilities that seem to break the rules.
This method was used by those who depended on stability and rules, as well as those who studied the world and wanted to apply rules and formulas to it. Majority of schools teach that method of magic as it was easier to teach and separate into different levels of advancement but without a good mind one wouldn't be able to go far using it, thus only geniuses were able to reach the highest tiers  of magic using this method.

The book had described that in order to use magic, you had to first perceive the existence of Vaes inside your body through meditation, a clear state of mind and achieving a semi-conscious state with little distractions as it the perception of magic or Vaes was equal to another sense entirely.

It had stated that those talented in magic, had great imagination or unique perception of the world was able to perceive their inner Vaes easily and in about less than an hour to less than three hours when they started meditating without external help, whereas normally it would take at minimum 8-16 hours with external help and guidance, and even days or weeks without any guidance in this day and age.

In the far past, the average person would also take weeks to perceive magic with help, providing evidence that today's average person had a greater talent for magic than previous generations.

This had greatly disappointed me for a moment before remembering that i had an amazing power...but i had no idea how it would help me in this situation.

But... It didn't hurt to try right?

Hmm... Let's try making a mana..err... Vaes bar, like in RPGs, I imagine a rectangular bar with the purpose was to store Vaes... 

I had imagined it to appear just below my name and quote, appearing with no problems, now let's see if it actually works...

I imagined the Vaes bar being able to absorb the Vaes within my body and fill it up... but another problem was how much the bar able to store... well let's try it first.

After making the changes I immediately felt something moving and draining from my body with movements that I was able to feel, I also saw a strip of blue appear on the Vaes bar, signifying it had worked. 

With the feeling of a strange energy moving through my body, I hurriedly closed my eyes and focused on the movement of the energy, feeling it move through me as it slowly filled up my Vaes bar.

After like a minute or so of focusing on that movement, i felt as if i entered a state of sleep, but was still conscious enough that i could wake up at any time, this must've been what the book meant by semi-consciousness.

When i had felt that i was able to feel the movement of the energy without conscious effort, i had willed myself to awaken from my semi-conscious state, looking at the time and seeing that around one hour had passed since i created my Vaes bar and had started to meditate.

I was a little happy that i was technically in the realm of talented in magic, technically as i had some help from my canvas, though that wasn't what i planned as i originally wanted to just use my canvas to draw Vaes from instead of my body.

I looked at my canvas and it seemed like the Vaes bar had filled around 4/5 of the total, though i still don't know how much it had stored... the Vaes in my body was constantly being drained of Vaes as i could feel, just wisps of Vaes entering then disappearing to what i assume was the Vaes bar in my canvas.

Huh... i thought i would feel more excited after being able to perceive magic flowing within me, but to me, it felt like i was able to perceive Vaes since i was born... was this how it always felt to those who had recently achieved magic perception?

No... it must be because i had stored Vaes within my canvas that was able to make me become extremely familiar with everything on it. That must've helped me while i was meditating or i bet i would've been meditating here for at least 8 hours, luckily that had not happened...

 I went back to continue reading the book on introduction to magic and the next subject was literally stating a lot of the elements and types of magic invented and or discovered throughout history, the ones that everyone knew and had appeared in stories of magic everywhere were

Fire
Water
Air
Earth

No surprise there, and there were much much more, especially in the field of formula magic where almost anything was possible, the ones stated in the book were just the most common ones and it seemed there were hundreds and hundreds of types, just stating the ones here we had...

Nature, Darkness, Metal, Light, Life, Summoning, Contract, Ice, Soul, Neutral, Flesh... and many more,
there were even some weird ones like Soap and Party magic...

After that, it had begun explaining how to perform your first spell, stating that it was going to teach the method taught to young children which were imagining magic as it was the easiest, it had recommended having a visual representation or even a real representation when starting off as it was able to supplement your imagination and made the image much clearer, though did state not to depend on it entirely as it had to come from your imagination in the first place after all.

Just below the instructions was a picture of a realistic campfire, obviously for anyone who was too lazy to look for another reference. Since i was one of those lazy people i had looked at the picture and formed in the image in my head, imagining a similar flame appearing on my open palm... and forgetting that the Vaes in my body was still being drained into my Vaes bar, it seemed like it was almost full.

I had imagined the Vaes inside the bar draining out back into my body and the feeling of draining had reversed and i felt Vaes fill my body, draining the bar exactly 1/10 of the total as i was perfectly familiar with everything on my canvas. Wait, was that it? did that mean that the Vaes bar was able to hold exactly 10 times that of my bodies capacity?

Once again i felt how amazing my canvas was and swore to utilize it as much as possible!

An accidental death?

Transmigrated to a foreign world?

I feel a strange power within me... and it's.. blank?!

Real Synopsis: 
A boy without dreams, without a loving
