"I think he rejected the girl.. just to insult us. Yes! Wang did this.. to insult us. First, he never picks up my call. Then, he rejects the girl I chose for him. This is heights of insult!!" snapped Ning.

Jack paid little attention to Ning's words, as he continued to solve the puzzles in the newspaper.

"Jack, can you stop that? I think this matter.. is as important to you, as it is to me. Can you use stop wasting the little brain you have on these puzzles, and use it in discussing this important issue with me? rebuked Ning, as she continued her to-and-fro walk near the fireplace.

"He wanted to kiss her, so he did. What's the big deal?" replied Jack, still focused on the crossword puzzle.

"What's the big deal?" yelled Ning, surprised at the carefree nature of her husband. "All this time, we have been setting up so many dates for Wang.. with so many gorgeous, high-standard girls. And, we couldn't even get him to hold their hands in love... or even smile with love. And all of a sudden, he kisses a girl in the middle of a restaurant!! And the girl happens to be a waitress.. a mere waitress. And you ask me.. what's the big deal?" bellowed Ning as she watched her husband, who was now smiling after having successfully entered a crossword puzzle entry.

"Okay! Calm down! Maybe, Wang saw something in that girl.. that you failed to notice. You don't have to be so fussy about the fact that she's a waitress," resumed Jack, as he wrote another puzzle entry.

There was a two minute silence in the lobby. While Jack continued with his puzzle, Ning stood still. She smiled as a thought entered her head.

"Yes Jack! That's precisely what the point is! Wang saw something in that girl," smiled Ning as she stood in pride of her intelligence. "And we have to plan something accordingly. We have to use this in our plan now," declared Ning as she tapped the side of her head with her pointer finger.

"I don't understand. What are you trying to say?" asked Jack, who now paid more attention to what Ning had to say.

"Oh my innocent husband! What I am saying is.. that we have to plan something to get that waitress involved in our mission," exclaimed Ning as her excitement soon overcame her confusion.

"Mission?" asked Jack, as he removed his spectacles and looked at Ning.

"Mission.. to get Wang married," yelled Ning angrily at her husband.

"Oh yes! Right!" sighed Jack as he stood up and went to his bedroom.

Ning sat on the sofa, that Jack vacated a few seconds back. With a look of determination, she started to think of how her plan could be implemented in the best possible way.

"So, how did it feel? Playing with all these famous streamers?"
"Well, at the start, I was pretty nervous, I mean, I was by far the least known out of all of us, but they were super nice. They helped me acclimate, and I would be lying if I said they had not helped me with my channel. All in all, it has been an amazing experience, and I thank you and them for it.", Ace was now being interviewed by one of the representatives from the organisation that had set up the match, she seemed to be a kind woman, relatively kind, maybe mid to late 20s if the voice was any indication.
"We can only thank you, I mean, you made our ratings go way up", she said this with a laugh, "What was that anyway? You pulled off some insane plays, and from what I have seen on your stream and highlights, it seems to be a daily occurrence for you, how are you so good?"
Ace laughed, "Would you believe me if I told you that I have no idea? I just play to have fun, and if something works out, then it does."
She laughed and continued on with another question, the idea of the interview was not to push the interviewee, but more so that people would know more about them, this meant that boundaries existed, and she would not go over them.
"So, are you planning on releasing your age or doing a face reveal?", she asked, truly curious this time
Ace smiled, he had seen this coming from a mile away, "Have you seen my Twitter? All you have to do is get some likes the question."
Ace felt her smile, "Ok then, I suppose that this will give some clarification, it was nice talking with you, have a wonderful day.", then she said goodbye and left the call
'If only you knew I had school tomorrow…
Ace thought it would have been a good idea to attend, but truthfully, with the monkey circus it had become, it was grating on his nerves.

"So, what is your answer?"
"I will do it, give me more info, and I will take the points once the message is delivered"
Zach grinned, he would get a lot of merits for this, regardless of what it had cost, "Ok, I have the first message to deliver, inform her that we want a meeting, she has all control over it, location, date etc, We just want a meeting."
"Ok I will get it done, I will send you the answer as soon as I get it.", Ace would speak with his grandmother as soon as he got out of the room, she would answer and have a decision ready within minutes, but they would wait some time to give a response, build up some nervousness, which would allow Ace and his Grandmother to broker for a better deal. Plus, they would most likely have to take any deal since the future of their enterprise was in their grandmother's hands. As of now, it could be said that Samantha was one of the most powerful people on the planet, not in the top 20, but easily within the top 3. She would have most of the criminal organisation in the palm of her hand, and no one could do anything about it, it would spell disaster if they did.
After all, would the best way to curry favour with her be to get rid of an offending party for her? All her bases were covered, and no one could do anything about it.
Ace went to class, as always he sat back to watch some downloaded gameplay, but this time, the teacher came up to him. Everyone was quiet, wondering if he would try to do anything.
"Ace", he looked up, "I have some puzzles for you that I would like you to solve, I think they will be interesting."
Ace quirked his eyebrow at this but nodded, the teacher handed him some sheets of paper and Ace went to solve them. They consisted of various puzzles, some were equations, others were shapes and others were mathematical word problems. Most of them Ace could solve, but a few of them Ace had to truly try in order to finish. All in all, Ace solved every single one, and while the class was doing some exercises and no one was speaking to the teacher, Ace went to his desk and handed the sheets with the solutions. 
The teacher frowned his eyebrows, but he started leafing through them, as he saw the solutions, he widened his eyes, and after looking at the last one, he said: "Come see me during your lunch break."

Most people were doing their work, but a few people were not, one of them was Sophie, she was looking at the interaction between Ace and the teacher and got curious, she would ask Ace about it. She thought about him, she and Amy had discussed this, he seemed impervious to any attempts of charm, almost as if he were a stone wall. However, he was not stupid - far from it, he knew what they were trying to do, so that could be one of the things that stopped him from being affected.
They had wondered about him, he seemed ridiculously smart, and he was not only smart, but he was also extremely knowledgeable, he would not get away with his attitude in class if he wasn't. He had most likely aced every single test they had gotten until now, and probably without an issue. Even she and Amy had been struggling to get above 90%. The tests had been getting harder and harder, and she had to spend more and more time studying.
She wanted to find out more about him, well, they both did. She would host something this weekend, hopefully, he would come, and she could even invite her brother, he would probably be able to figure him out.

"What do you know about the Master of Puzzles prize?"
"Uhh, a prize awarded to the person that can solve the hardest puzzle within a specific amount of time?"
"Well, they have just informed some teachers around the world that they will be hosting a Puzzle Master Junior and -"
"You would like me to participate?"
"Yes"
"No"
"You will be given full permission around the school, and a more than adequate amount of points."
"I'm in"
"It will be hosted in Vienna, don't ask me why, it will simply be there. It will be hosted during a period of a whole week."
"When?"
"It will be hosted in about 5 months, so you still have time to prepare - "
"Hell no. If I am doing this I am not going to attend any classes or things like it then I am not participating. If you want, give me some puzzles to solve every week, and I will give them to you at the end of the week, if I have any questions, I will come to ask for help.", the last bit was mostly for the teacher, he was confident in solving anything they threw at him, so this way he would still have some free time. He could do the puzzles in his class, and he would not even care. The only reason he was doing this was to go to Vienna anyways, he could visit the city, it would be fun. He was fluent in German so he would not have any problems.
Looking at it, the coming months, he was swamped, the convention, the Knowledge Tournament, the Puzzle Tournament, and the relations between his grandmother and the criminal organisations, all the while, trying to play games and going to the gym once in a while to fight some guys. Last time he had gone, he had kicked the ass of two guys one after the other, and they were not the best the gym had to offer, but they were not far from it either. As he got used to being in combat situations and his body improved, soon, he would not have a match in the gym, after that, he would have to look for new opponents, maybe even go to a tournament or something.

The story of a boy overcome with pain, that suddenly isn't.

In the faculty room~

"I heard that there will be a mass entrance examination from school and training centers tomorrow." his physics teacher said while opening his table's drawer.


His teacher asked him to help bring the exam papers to the faculty room. As he was a top notch in his class, techers are fond of conversing and talking with him. Sometimes they would ask him to bring exam papers- like this one. And they also give him advices, talk to him about his future life. Some even offer to sponsor to study in a high class university.

"Yes! It is scheduled tomorrow at around 9:00 AM." he replied. Of course Peter would know - he have applied for that.

"Oh, I heard that the Association would be there too. They would be giving ten slots to enter their training center to deserving excellent students." his teacher said as if trying to see Peter's expression of shock. He knew that Peter had a burning desire to join the Association.

The Association don't usually recruit trainees from Senior High but this year, someone suggested and was agreed upon by others. The Association said that it would be better to train students in their early years. The evaluation will of course be difficult. Even college graduates are having a hard time joining the association and some students don't even want to try. When the Association said that they are giving ten slots, is is to be expected that none of the students would pass the evaluation.

"Yes sir, I have already applied for it last week." when he apllied, there were still little number of names on the application list. But he was shocked by the latter part of his teacher's words. Why didn't he heard of that news?

His teacher seemingly know what he was thinking added, "En..they have just announced it this morning. I think the application form would be filled up on the spot and other documents could be passed after passing the evaluation so there is no need for requirements in the mean time." this teacher of his was willing to help Peter to become a known prodigy. How proud a teacher must be seeing his student reach his goals.

"I must thank you for the information, teacher." Peter was grateful to his teacher. If he could passed that evaluation he would go straight to ASEA and train to be one of them even without entering college.

After having some exchange, Peter exited the faculty room. His physics class was the last to give the exam - his other subject are already finished with the exams the day before.

He was free for the whole afternoon but instead of going home early, he decided to visit the library. And he still has to wait for Julie. As much as possible he did not want to waste his time so he reads books in his leisure time.

On the way to the library he saw students making their way to the faculty office and some for the library. At the end of classes, students usually bid farewells to their teachers.

At the library~

When he arrived at the entrance of the library there was a long queue queue signing up at the logbook of the library. The librarian is Ms. Fannie. Peter waited for a few more minutes before finally having his turn. 

"Hello Ms. Fannie!" he greeted the lady librarian before getting the logbook to sign up.

Ms. Fannie is at her 30's already. She was an alumni of the school so she was instantly hired when she applied for the position.

Ms. Fannie paused for a moment and lift her sight up to see who has come. She smiled when she learned that it was Peter, "It's you again book nerd. It is already the end of the semester and yet here you are. If not for the fact that you almost come here everyday to busy your self with reading, I might think that you have a liking on me." Ms. Fannie said jokingly with a slight chuckle.

Peter already got used to her jokes - she does that everytime. He awkwardly replied, "Hehehe Ms. Fannie is really good at flattering me. Well, my classes are already completed and I have a lot of time at hand so I thought that I better use it for good."

"Oh!" she lowly exclaimed. She really admire Peter for being too conscious with how he used his time. "Okay then, you can go in now." she said after letting Peter signed up for entering the library.

Inside the library, there were a number of students. Peter knew some of them. As he come to the library almost everyday, it wouldn't be a joke if he said he knew how many times a student in the school has entered the library.

The library has two sections for each floor. He was going where the Astronomy Section is located - the second floor.

On the way to the stairs, he saw familiar faces - those who also come to the library a lot.

One of them is Andrei - a linguistics genius. They greeted each other. "Hi Andrei." Peter greeted.

"Hola amigos."  Andrei replied to his greeting in Spanish. Andrei can be considered as a genius in linguistics. When he was still a 4th grader, he could already sleak 13 languages from 13 different countries. He is now in the same year as Peter.

After the greetings and a few pleasantries, Peter continued walking. The library also have a Puzzle Section, this is where you can find most mind games such as Chess, Checker, Four-In-A-Row, Crossword Puzzles, Jigsaw Puzzles and many other puzzles. This section is almost filled with students everyday. Even with this many students, it is still rare to hear a noise and that is because Ms. Fannie is strict. The number of students have increased as their classes are already completed so they had a lot of free time.

As he usually does before going up to his favorite section, he would watch a game or two. He is now watching a game of chess. The students playing were both Sophomores.

"Hello Peter." the two of them greeted upon seeing Peter going to their table. Peter is quite known in the campus eventhough he only has a small number of friends and that is thanks to the teachers and his brain. His previous teachers woyld usually tell their class about him - for motivational purposes and it seems to be effective.

"Hi Dave - hi Stein! How is the game going?" Peter often see them here.

Dave scratched his head, "I think I am gonna lose to Stein again. I haven't won a game with him since forever."

"That is because you are not focusing on the game. Put yourself into the game and you would be a chess prodigy." Stein said mockingly.

"Hey Peter, can you help me win just this game?" Dave looked at Peter with a helpless expression.

"Okay!" Peter went on to move the Queen piece.

Stein was dumbstrucked. "How could that be?" his King was now checked with nowhere to move. It was only by sacrificing his Queen piece but even with that he would still lose. "You are indeed a genius Peter." that was all he could say.

After watching the bothe of them for a few more games, Peter headed straight to the Astromomy Section. It is now about 1:30 PM, at 4PM would be Julie's break time. 

The Astronomy Section is seldom visited by students. It is only crowded when there are written researches required by their teachers in Astronomy. Other than Peter and the librarian - Ms. Fannie, there was also the janitor who keeps the books clean every after the classes.

When he was near the entrance to the section, he heard books flipping - as if someone was reading.

'It can't be Ms. Fannie, right?' he thought to himself. ' And I am sure that it can't also be the janitor as it is still early in the afternoon.

In a parallel planet similar to Earth and has technologies almost on the same level as Earth's ~

That same day, Ron and Shan dropped by at the Yang Ancestral Mansion to visit Xander and Yera. He finally was able to personally thank his Boss for all that he had done for him. The living room was filled with his uncontrollable cries especially when his boss, Xander, hugged him and even patted his back saying that no matter what situation they were in, he would do the same thing over again so he did not need to feel guilty and burdened.
"What's with you? Stop crying now… We've been together for so many years and aren't you aware of how awesome your boss is? You're so lucky to have a boss like me. Well, mind you, all this is still not for free and take it as a debt and I will demand payment for it. You should know that right?" Xander jested and Ron nodded while he wiped his tears and sat back beside Shan.
"Wait did you two arrive together? Such a coincidence." Xander suddenly commented as he looked at Shan who was sitting beside Ron.
Ron reddened and bashfully looked at Xander and Yera. Then after a while, he told the couple his current relationship with Shan and their plan to register their marriage after their visit to Xander and Yera.
Xander and Yera were both shocked with Ron's statement and it took them a while to react. Xander looked at Shan who was blushing, then at Ron who was half smiling. Then he was the first to speak.
"What? Do you mean you are going to register your marriage after coming here?" Xander burst still in shock. He wasn't even aware that Ron and Shan were in a romantic relationship. Since when? And now they would embark into a whirlwind marriage.
"Have you two thought about it carefully? I mean marriage is not something as easy as that…" Xander scolded and Ron almost choked on his own saliva. 
'Wasn't it easy with you and Madame Yera Boss?' He silently chortled recalling how he even witnessed the whirlwind marriage of his Boss.
Yera chuckled and jokingly said, "Hey Xander, stop that. They both are old enough and can decide on their own, do they need to hear your exaggeration like that? Didn't you also have a whirlwind marriage? I think Ron is just walking on the same path as you. That's how much he likes you."
Ron smiled at Yera for helping him out. After a few more minutes of chatting. Ron and Shan bid their farewell to the couple and proceeded to the civil affairs office for registering their marriage.
Xander was still in awe as he looked at Ron and Shan who had left out of the door. "Wow, my assistant is quite capable and fast darling…" He commented with a grin while he shook his head.
Yera laughed and teased, "Well he just took after his boss, don't you think so darling?"
The couple were interrupted by the sudden arrival of Senior Yang who asked them to follow him to the living room.
"Dad… Seriously?" Xander sniveled seeing his dad had a lot of puzzles to assemble on the table. 
"What? This is fun… Come here and you two sit down. Whoever completes the most puzzles when the time stops will be the winner. Butler Gary will be our timer." Senior Yang instructed the couple to sit with him.
"Do we get a reward for winning this dad?" Xander muttered with a grin. 
"Whoever finishes last will have to entertain all others in the house once a week by doing something fun like singing, dancing or acting…Or whatever form of entertainment the winner asks him/her to do… Alright?" Senior Yang explained.
"I'm in…" Yera immediately jumped and responded, feeling giddy at the thought of her husband losing while she would win.
Xander looked at his wife grinning like a cheshire cat, raised an eyebrow and said, "You look so excited darling. I can see it all over your face as if you are saying - I will win this and I will make my dear loving husband entertain me tremendously - Your facial expressions are clearly shouting these words.."
Yera laughed and muttered, "Wow your intelligent son can read minds father…" 
Senior Yang smiled and shook his head and signaled butler Gary to start the timer.
"In 3, 2, 1, Go…"
Yera was even humming as she started. Xander would sneak a peek and keep checking the other two more than concentrating on his own puzzles. After thirty minutes, Xander was the one who had the least number of completed puzzles while Yera had the highest number of completed ones.
"Hmm, shall you entertain us now darling?" Yera teased.
Xander gulped hearing Yera voice out her thoughts while she told him her options for him to choose from, for entertaining her and senior Yang.
"Hmm, imitating animal sounds and actions would be funny too… ah, this is so much fun…" Yera giggled as she started picturing her husband doing funny things.
"Dad, next time prepare something for adults to play." Xander commented with pouty lips.
Senior Yang laughed and said, "Alright, let's try rock paper scissors next time…" followed by a loud laugh.
Xander's face twisted.
Yera chose that Xander would imitate the animal's sounds that she would be mentioning to him, including the actions that would represent each animal.
"Dad, next time if I win can I punish the loser myself if it's my wife? I would like it to be a private punishment?" Xander commented with an evil grin then he whispered to Yera, "I will punish you to do strip dancing darling… With animal sounds along with too…" 
Yera's face soured. Senior Yang laughed seeing the couple bantering. His son was rapidly coming back to his original good shape and he was glad to see that. In no time, he would probably hear some good news again about him going to be a grandfather. But his face suddenly darkened at the thought of Xander's life being in danger once more.
He was aware of Dion and Rui's movements. Last night, Yera had updated him. He too talked to Bernards' father and he was going to meet him tomorrow once he was back in the country. He was hoping that Senior Cooper at least knew something through Kelly. He too was getting frustrated so he asked Butler Gary to help him check all of Kanya's belongings which he had already kept safely in another room. Every single thing must be inspected. He was hoping they could at least find something that could help him confirm her identity.
If only Kanya did not die that night… That same day, Kanya wanted to tell him something about her past but postponed it when Yera went missing…

Disbelief flashed in Yera's eyes. It was quickly replaced with anger. "You pervert!"

"You took advantage of me," he teased. His eyes slowly trailed down her lips towards her neck and with his hoarse voice said, "Or would you like me to remind you... what you did last night?"

He was Xander Yang whose hope of marriage ended when he was diagnosed with an erectile dysfunction. Smart and stubborn, the Doctor CEO of Yang Globals group was a very bubbly and loveable person but a difficult man to handle.
