Once Chairman Lee got off the phone, he said sorry to Gun-Ho and picked up the piece of apple that he tried to have earlier and ate it.
 
Gun-Ho handed a can of juice to Chairman Lee with a smile.
"Someone wants to sell a building?"
"Oh, you heard that? Yeah, I have a friend; our friends call him Chairman Park. He was once very popular. He wants to sell his building."
"Can't he just put the building on the market?"
"That building is not for everyone. It's a 200 billion won worth building that is located in Sinsa Town, Seoul. Not many people would afford to buy that building. Putting on the market won't help; maybe he should post an advertisement in a newspaper or something."
"Then why doesn't he place an ad in a newspaper?"
"He doesn't want to do it. He doesn't want people who know him to find out that he was selling his building. Moreover, he doesn't want it to cause any dispute between his children."
"Why would it cause a dispute between his children?"
"He has a lot of children. Some are from his first marriage, and some are from his second wife. It's really complicated. You'd better be careful with women too while doing your business, President Goo."
"Huh? Oh, sure. I will keep that in mind, sir."
Gun-Ho thought of Mori Aikko in Japan at that moment.
"What if Mori Aikko is pregnant with my child?"
Gun-Ho suddenly got goosebumps.
 
President Jeong-Sook Shin walked towards Chairman Lee and said hello.
"Umm… Are you, by any chance, the father of Professor Hye-Sook Lee at Sejong University?"
"Yes, I am. Who am I talking to?"
"Hello, sir. I am a friend of Hye-Sook. I am working as the president of GH Media now."
"Did you say GH Media?"
Gun-Ho added some explanation to it so Chairman Lee could understand the situation.
"I recently opened a small publishing company, sir. It is called GH Media. President Shin here is working there and running the company."
"Oh, really? You have a publishing company. I see."
"When I saw you, sir, at the tape cutting ceremony, I was not so sure if you are Hye-Sook's father."
"How is Hye-Sook doing these days?"
"She is doing fine, sir."
Gun-Ho couldn't quite understand the conversation between Chairman Lee and President Shin. Who would ask someone whether his own daughter was doing okay?
"A lot of confusing things are happening today."
When Gun-Ho was wondering about things, the vice president of S Group said loudly.
"President Goo! I am leaving early. It was really nice to see the factory today."
"I am heading back to Seoul too, sir."
It was the branch manager of the major bank.
 
The guests at the building dedication ceremony started leaving the scene one by one after having food and having a tour of the factory. The police patrol that was parked at the entrance of the factory had left as well. They came to help facilitate the traffic for the ceremony and once most guests left the scene, they left too.
Once the entire guest left the factory, the workers of GH Mobile started having food. They seemed to be hungry after a long day of the ceremony.
Gun-Ho called for the general affairs manager.
"Our workers did such a great job today and they need to be rewarded. Why don't you take them to a restaurant, have dinner with them and pay with the company credit card?"
"Yes, sir. Thank you."
 
Gun-Ho came back to his office in Asan City. He was dozing off on his chair in his office with the door closed after the long day when someone knocked on the president's office door.
"Please come in."
Gun-Ho woke up and sat straight on his chair. It was the team leader of the product quality assurance team.
"Sir, I've brought the evaluation result of the environmental management system."
Gun-Ho signed on the paper without even reviewing it.
'Sh*t! that stupid man woke me up. It's not even an urgent matter. It could be done later. I was having a really nice dream.'
The product quality assurance team leader passionately explained about something using his hands, and Gun-Ho nodded his head without really listening to it.
The team leader thought he was doing good with the report to the president since Gun-Ho wasn't saying anything. He then said loudly, "Thank you!" before leaving the room.
 
After the product quality assurance team leader left the office, Gun-Ho laid down on the sofa and tried to have a nap, but he couldn't fall asleep this time. He, instead, was thinking about the conversation that Chairman Lee had on the phone.
"A huge building in Sinsa Town, Seoul... Its price is 200 billion won. How big would that building be? How much rent would it bring in?"
He couldn't imagine a building that was worth 200 billion won.
"It would be really nice to have a building like that in Gangnam, Seoul. Should I use all of my cash saved in my stock account to purchase that building? I have about 200 billion won."
Gun-Ho then firmly shook his head.
"Nah. I should never use my entire funds at once. I could have a high vacancy rate with that building. That could be big trouble. I have GH Mobile and I am now forming a new company— GH Chemical. I shouldn't risk them. I have a publishing company that I have to take care of too, even though it is a small company. If they can't sell a book, I will have to close it and that would be embarrassing. Won-Chul Jo, Suk-Ho Lee and Byeong-Chul Hwang will laugh at me."
Gun-Ho continued to think.
"If I go down, Min-Hyeok in China will go down with me. Jae-Sik Moon will have to vacate his room at OneRoomTel. I won't be able to see Mori Aikko ever again… No! Those things shouldn't happen. I shouldn't touch my funds in my stock account. Money is like a religion to me!"
 
Gun-Ho still couldn't forget about the building that was worth 200 billion won.
"How big would it be? 15 floors? 20 floors? It should be at least 10 floors high. Where in Sinsa Town that building would be located at? Maybe at Garosugil Road in Sinsa Town? Nah..., the buildings on that road are all small buildings. None of them shouldn't be worth 200 billion won."
Gun-Ho felt a strong desire to visit that building; he wanted to see it in person.
"I should be with my workers when we move our factory to Jiksan Town on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe I should go and visit that building after moving. I just want to see it. I am not going there to buy that building. Okay, then once the moving is complete, let's go to see Chairman Lee. I can have a good time with him like the old days. He would give me good advice about life as always. Maybe I should go to Ms. Jang's bar at Hannam town with him. Maybe I should ask Master Park to join us too since he is a friend of Chairman Lee."
Once Gun-Ho figured out what to do, he felt better.

This is the story of a poor young man whose poverty even shreds apart their family willing to climb his way through society and into the top. A very realistic novel that moves away from fantasy and sci-fi and focuses solely on the issues of society and life.

Heather was excited to find out about all the specialities that the realm contained and as she was admiring the whole set up, a notification rang out and I told her the process of the socketing had already been completed.

She went over to the machine and carefully opened up the door and she squealed in delight as she removed the amulet and held it in her hands. Just as she had expected, the diamond piece was in the centre of the amulet while the two rubies were socketed at the sides of it.

She was putting the amulet on her chest and adjusted it in front of a large standing mirror. At least she could help out to churn something inside this Fusion Chamber.

"It looks so beautiful, don't you think so my dear? By the way, do you think Jay-R fits wearing this type of amulet around his neck, I mean he's a boy and only girls wear them, am I right? This fine piece of shiny glass that is in front of me here would be good if we can bring it back to the domain, don't you think so dear? 

Heather asked and I replied that it's alright since my late father also wears this type of amulet around his neck plus lots more accessories. Plus I told her that glass and mirror were not invented only centuries later. So there's no chance for her to haul the big ass mirror back to our real world. Hahaha. 

She kept the piece she had just enhanced and continued to do the same to the other two amulets meant for the children. Watching her filled with excitement was like a student who had successfully completed her first chemistry experiment...!

After the amulets had been completed, she asked me if there would be some tools she could use to make the chain shorter and for the 'S' hook to be adjusted so that it would be able to suit our children's neck later on.

There's one more room which I had not entered which was the Blacksmith Room, the place where my former self had painstakingly hammered and forged his way through from being a novice blacksmith to a master.

"I would bring you there once we had completed the usage of the Gutenberg machine here. What do you have in mind, dear?" 

I asked and she held my journal in her hand and told me that she would like to make notes of this to bring it back to the real world. 

Since both worlds have a paper and ink and even though the process is a bit different, she would like to make copies of this to send it back and then distribute it to the senior members of the board during the meeting.

"Ceres, could you guide us on how to use this Gutenberg machine?" I called out to Ceres and it explained that it was not called Gutenberg machine but a printer cum copying machine.

It uses light to capture the image on any piece of material and then it would print the output depending on how many pieces we wanted to print. "The counter keypad is beside the start green button over there."

"Place the journal on the glass panel first, top side down and close the cover over it. Once you're done, then press the desired number of copies on the panel with lots of buttons and then press the green start button."

"Sit back and watch the machine copies whatever you want to be reproduced and the output would lay on the output tray at the left-hand side of the machine."

Ceres advises and guide us step by step throughout as we walked all around the machine to ensure we had gotten what Ceres had wanted us to specifically do.

 After pressing the buttons to reproduce a dozen and placing the journal that needs to be reproduced top side down on the glass panel, Heather did the honour of pressing the start green button. 

The machine whirred to life and sounds of paper being extracted and dropped into the output tray could be heard. 

There was a kind of stomping sounds as each paper was being reproduced before a dozen pieces had been completed and the machine went silent again.

"Oh my God...! This is really a good piece of invention. If only we could bring it back then we could print out all the labels for all the medicine, herbs, health and beauty products too...!" 

Heather was all excited when she held the warm pieces of paper that had been deposited in the output tray as she held the paper to her nose and took a deep whiff as if its done kind of wafer...! 

"It smells so fresh too...! This Gutenberg machine is really out of this era...!" Heather exclaimed as she took the journal and flipped to the next one that needs to be reproduced and pressed the start button again. It seemed they she was getting quite adept at this kind of work...!

After she had reproduced all that she needs from the Gutenberg machine, she held the pieces of papers in her hand and told me to bring her to the Blacksmith Room where she would need some tools to adjust the length of the children's amulets.

"Come on dear, let's go to the Blacksmith Room as I need to make these adjustments to the chain's length on the amulet." Heather motioned to me and I swiped the fusion chamber to the next one.

There stood an old fashioned anvil and furnace with several sizes of hammers and other tools that were neatly arranged on a standing display stand.

Heather goes over and chose a pair of pliers and removed the 'S' hooks from 2 amulets and then she somehow cut the length of the two amulets to become shorter and of equal lengths.

After she had done so, she inserted the 'S' hooks once more and then she simply remarked to me that the work had already been completed.

"I will leave the rest of the adjustments back at Old Jack's place. How long have we been here, my dear? I really can't wait to spend more time here with you."

Heather claimed and I told her it's under an hour which means it's slightly under 20 minutes in the real world.

"Audemars, when you had been fully accustomed here, you can use the computer to make the drafts of your instructions and other advertising or marketing materials instead of using the reproduction machine. You can change the fonts and you can straightaway print from the screen before you."

Ceres was mentioning about the personal computer that would only exist in the 20th century and what she had mentioned to me was totally alien and I don't even understand a single word she said.

"It's like a Gutenberg machine, Audemars. The typesetting could be done with a screen in front of you and one you are done, you could print them out."

"There are some reference books based on personal computing, word processing, desktop publishing and so on."

"You can do a bit of reading up before you embark. It would be fantastic and you could also use different type settings to look like a gazette."

Ceres mentioned it to me once more and the only thing I understand was a gazette. The rest of the things she mentioned, was truly out of this world and I could only sit down and read some references and follow the tips, if available. 

"Don't worry, Audemars. There would be two personal computers set up in the White Room and there would be some reference books for you and Heather to read up."

"Take your time, don't be too surprised. Consider these personal computers as part of your former self that was used to utilise it every day."

The information that had been relayed to me was clear but I could only perceive them a bit at a time. Heather was equally excited since she heard that there are two machines set up in the White Room and she desired to enter the realm once again when the children had gone to bed tonight. 

"We would see about it tonight, yes dear? At the meantime, our twins are waiting for us so we better read back now. Handle those papers carefully, we would be leaving this realm from the White Room and hold my hand properly, alright?" 

I was afraid that something might happen to Heather like being left all alone in the realm while I'm suddenly back in the real world. 

In fact, there's nothing much to worry but she might be the one panicking and starts to destroy the room to find a way out...! 

I motioned Heather to come close to me and she anxiously held my hand tightly as we both entered the vortex and left the realm. When we finally opened our eyes, I find Heather beside me and had slightly sweaty palms. 

"Phew...! That was quite a trip, my dear. I go get the children and let's head down to the conference hall then." Heather skipped merrily down the stairwell with the sheets of paper that had been reproduced along with the amulets that she held in her hands and it does look like a piece of toy to her at this moment. 

Ah well, as long as she is happy, the twins are happy and so would I.

She went to fetch the twins and as she handed the amulets to the children, they were happy when they were shown the items as the twins held out their dainty hands and touched the ones that Heather was currently wearing.

"My dear little darlings, this is what Mummy had brought for you and its the same as what mummy is wearing right now, see? I'm not going to make this chain shorter because you would be wearing it till you had become an adult."

"What Mummy would do is to insert this 'S' hook over here so this both chains would be dangling behind it. As you grow older, this 'S' hook would be adjusted accordingly."

Heather was explaining the uses of the 'S' hook on the amulet and the twins were rather excited about having a new toy to play with and it's around their necks.

To prevent any accidents, the balance length of the chain was entwined at the back of the children's neck.

When Heather was putting on the amulets for the twins, they were both giggling and clapping their hands and adoring the amulets on each other's necks. It was of a simple design but it serves the purpose really well.

As I sauntered down the stairwell, I saw that lunch had already been served and taken from the outdoor kitchen area and the twins were being fed by Heather and one of the domain helpers.

 It was a simple pottage and served with toasted bread and this would be more than enough to start the day right before the midday meeting.

"I thought we would not be having lunch today... Hahaha. Well, it doesn't hurt to grab a bite or two before the meeting, eh?" I sat down on between the twins and took over the feeding of the twins from one of the domain helpers.

As the twins were being fed, I can't help but noticing Heather was clearly proud of what she had done for the amulets back in the realm and she was particularly vain when she had the amulet hanging loosely around her neck.

She smiled back at me as she gently touched the amulet around her neck and I hope that the two good quality red rubies would be able to give her +50 health as well since my information system was unable to determine it as she was not a Foe.

After we had a light lunch, the twins were busy playing with the amulet around their necks while Heather cleared away all the papers on the table and replaced it with the one that she had reproduced back in the realm with me. 

I saw that the paper and ink did not diminish even one bit and discovered that the trip to bring these papers back to the real world is a success. 

At least, she would be kept busy along with me when the time comes for her to reproduce the labels of some of the health and beauty products whenever needed. 

As she had heard they there would be two added machines brought in by Ceres that would be able to perform some word processing, desktop publishing and printing from them, Heather was once again excited to enter the realm to try it out. 

However, these so-called machines were totally alien to me in this world and I wondered who my original former self was before he made his transmigratory trips all over the parallel universe until he became who he is today. 

Only Ceres has the answers as we sat down and arranged the papers for the meeting when the senior members of the board slowly streamed into the conference hall after their lunch as Heather begins to commence the meeting when everyone was present. 

I sat down beside Heather and observed how she conducted the third meeting which would be the crucial part for the further development of the economy in town.

Sunday. Before dawn. Yu's already gone. He's really taking training seriously huh. Good. As I said that

*ring ring*
"Akira"
"*yawn* yeah?"
"Pick me up."

I guess my work today's cut out for me. 

"Uncle Ryo, can I borrow your car?"
"Sure, here's the key." He threw a key to me. 
"where'd Yu be anyway?"
"Trying to reach enlightenment."
"Sure." 

It doesn't take long for me to reach Asina's Dojo, I see a 'corpse' sprawling by the roadside. I simply carried him like a sack of potatoes and tossed him into the backseat. I didn't see Isshin nor Sakamoto anywhere, maybe they're still training. When I was just about to leave.

"Ah! Young Master!"
"Oh it's you!"
"I'm honored you remember me Young Master."
I didn't get your name though.
"Tell Isshin he has my gratitude."
"Ah! Yeah, Isshin-sama said that he's taking a liking to Yu-san. He said something like: 'He's a wolf cub, but a wolf nonetheless.'"
"Wolf huh. That sounds about right. 'White Wolf of Inaba', it does have a nice ring to it, no? "
I was just thinking out loud, not knowing that on my whim, Yu from today onward, shares the same nickname as a certain mutated protagonist from a trilogy of games.

I doubt Yu is even human at this point. Exactly at 10.00, He 'revived', and came back to life. Said his goodbye, and finally left the house, probably to farm some social link levels. This is just illogical, does his bed have some kind of advanced nanobots? 

I'm home alone right now, as Nanako is out with Izanami, Yu is out … somewhere, Uncle Ryo is working. Now I'm wondering if there's something I miss. *ring ring* the second time my phone rang today.

"Akira-dono"
"Hideyoshi-san what's wrong."
"I've found some companies that're worth looking into, but you should probably talk to my nee-sama. She's more knowledgeable in this industry than I am. Ok, put me through."

"Akira-dono, this is Yuko Kinoshita speaking."
"It's a pleasure to be acquainted with you Yuko-san."
"To the topics at hand, are you sure you want to expand into this industry? I have made a list of potential candidates for both investment and buyouts. Do you have a fax machine near you?"

Ah yeah, yesterday, I told Hideyoshi-san to give me a list of entertainment industries that are failing. To my suprise, right now, there haven't been that many entertainment industries that have gone public. So I should be able to grab a few of them for myself. With the OA clan's net worth it won't be hard to purchase a few of them.

"Okay. send them to me, I'll review each of them, then we can start the discussion."
 
A moment later, the fax machine rang and printed 10 pages of datas. Sorting through it all is relatively easy. I have to say Yuko is a genius when it comes to data science. The data that came are easy to understand and her recommendations are spot on.

"Okay, I've skimmed through it all. Tell me what's your plan first Yuko, it seems like you've had an eye in this industry for a while."

"Yes, According to my research, we can easily buy out a few publishing companies, with publishing companies we can nurture talents which in turn will produce great works. These works can then be turned into a tv-series, animations or movies."
That makes sense if you can control all the process ourselves it wouldn't be bad, but the scale and the revenue is really unstable.

"Music and broadcasting works together hand in hand, if we were to go this route, then it's best to secure a recording label, find talented artists, and then arrange broadcasting teams to promote and nurture them. This however will take time. As not everyone is created equally, we can find songwriters and artists with money, but they won't stay loyal."
True, the music industry is still growing, it won't see a huge jump before streaming services is a thing. Broadcasting on the other hand is a whole other beast. Radio's fine. But television broadcasting cannot be easily done. A timeframe of 24 hours must be filled with shows. Thinking about it is enough to give me a headache.

"So what's the plan Akira-dono?"
I need to secure the music industry that's for sure. And the publishing - animation company is also a feasible choice.

"We'll be doing Music Industry, find a relatively unknown recording company, buy it, make another division that's solely focused on growing and developing talents."
"For the broadcasting platform I heard a while back about an online video sharing platform called niconico, please negotiate with them for a potential buyout. Bring Kubo-san with you along for this."
"And call Goro Majima, through Uncle Kaz. ask his help for developing young talents. And you can make out a show with Goro-san about traveling talent agents scouring all over japan to find talents."
That's the plan for now. I hope Uncle Kaz can work it out with Goro Majima, his skills in management, especially in the entertainment industry is stupidly good. 

"Wait! Goro 'mad-dog' Majima!? Are you certain Akira-dono?"
"Yes, I am, for the publishing company, I changed my mind. I'll ask kubo-san to make an online platform for writers of all ages to write and publish their work. For now, instead of buying an established company, make our own, the first work that you guys will publish will be mine."
"I mean no disrespect to Akira-dono, but can I see your work first before we decide if we're going to go with the plan or not."
"Send someone to pick it up, there's a lot of pages, so until then."

My right ear feels hot, as i've been in the phone for a long time. The Kinoshida Family sure is reliable though. As i was just enjoying my momentary peace.
*ding dong*
I wonder who it could be. I opened the door to find.... 2 Hideyoshi(s).

"Good afternoon"
"Good afternoon my ass! Why would you hang up like that!"
One of the Hideoshi(s) is screaming her lungs out.
"Maa, maa, nee-san. Stop it. I apologize to Akira-dono, but this is my nee-san, Yuko Kinoshida."
 "A pleasure to meet you."
Ah I thought they'll send someone to pick it up, but instead they came all the way here.
"Hmmph."

[So, is this the Tsundere I've been reading about.]
Seems like it.

"You're thinking about something rude aren't you? Demon King or not, all men are the same."
I decided to act like an adult and ignore the nasty remark.
"So, what brings you here? If it's the manuscript then you should wait for a moment while I go and get it. Please come inside."

And so, I get the manuscript and give it to them. Yuko-san immediately snatched it away from my hand while reading on the sofa. 

"So Hideyoshi, how's the OA-clan right now."
"Stabilizing, with the stunt you pulled off last week, nobody dares to incur your wrath [Demon King]-sama. And they're following your orders to the T, consolidating their own power and trying to individually raise their own name by doing charity in their own territories before your big move."
"Good. What about the TJC? Same there, your brother should know more, but from what I heard, it's messier over there and further cleanup is needed. The fourth chairman himself is on the move and hunting down more and more of the traitors."
Uncle Kaz is getting proactive huh. Good to know, the faster we unite the two clans, the better.

"How much budget can we spare during all of this?"
"A couple of billions are easily forked out if you say the word."
"Do we have any hands in the nightlife industry?"
"Hmmm we have a few families whose main attraction is nightclubs and underground casinos. Why do you ask?"

"Fork out a billion and ask them to build themselves a school, whose students are the less fortunate and the families of those who work in the nightlife."
"Oooh, interesting move [Demon King]"
"I told you before that I will work hard for our family, not just you or me on the top, but also our enforcers on the field and their families."
"Or so you say. Anything else?"
"Loan sharks. Seize the children of those who cannot pay for too long and put them inside that school. Build a dorm if you have to. I don't want kids living on my streets if i can help it."
"Hmmm. In that we can agree. But you're unexpectedly soft huh for a Demon King."
"It's a strategic resource, we will reap the benefits when they turn into adults."
"It is as you say, the government won't just stay silent in all this you know?"

"Then set me a meeting with the ministry of education and childcare."
"That's a tall order."
"It is, but that's for later, when we finish the project, tell me, and I heard Goro Majima started a construction company. Use his services, again through uncle Kaz. I worry for your safety otherwise."

"THIS IS AWESOME!"
Yuko screamed through her lungs.
"Lets publish this. I'm taking this with me. Hideyoshi Let's go!"
"Nee-sama, calm down! Calm down!"
Yuko dragged hideyoshi out of the house. I silently wave them goodbye. Ah finally, some peace and-- *ring ring*

"Akira!"
Ah it's yu
"I'll be back late tonight"
"You're an adult now, Just act responsibly."
"Can you pick us up at Junes Tonight?"
"Ah you're getting high again? Ok, ok, I get it. Just don't overdo it."
"We're no---"
"Yeah I said I got it, I was like that too you know. I'll say something to Uncle Ryo later."
I hung up right after. 

Not wanting to have my relaxing time be disturbed again, I set my phone to silent mode. Throw my body on the sofa, and finally enjoy some quality music.

Honestly if you would have asked me only some couple of few weeks ago about how I feel, I would have responded.
"I feel great! My life is actually not so bad, I have one loving family, a place to live and call home and food on my plate. I receive knowledge and I´m able to experience a stable normal life, what more could a person ask for!" But now it´s going down. Now it´s more like...
"I feel sick to my stomach everyday, I fell like because of the distant learning that I have finally receive from my school is unnecessary because I have become lazy and there´s literately nothing to do. All that I do on my days at home is sit behind a screen (possibly in my bed half asleep), I sleep and eat all the time and do it all again. Day by day the same each and every. I have seen almost every series on Netflix that have both woken my interest and also those that have just made me be like "I don´t get this shit".
My back hurts from all that sitting that I spend my days doing and I´m longing for all this to end to yet again spend my days waking up early in the morning that I by the way hate doing and meet all the people that I by the way hate. My class is full with arrogant and spoiled children and let´s not get into the part where there is this girl who thinks that she is superior. Apparently common folk like me are not allowed to speak with her, look at her and not even breath the same air as her. But honestly she hates my guts and I hate hers so it´s a mutual relationship. But mostly I´m longing to meet my friends and eat lunch together and sitting in all those same classrooms and listening how my teachers explain all the same things once again for the thousand time already. Or how there´s these moments when someone comments something small but fun and everyone starts to laugh even if it was not even that funny. I´m also longing for those moments when I walk by one of my friends classroom and see this amazing guy writing down notes, like he does not know that I exist. But I bet that he does not know who I am either way. 
I´m also longing for going to the mall and spend my money as soon as I get it, or just sit in the local coffee shop with my friends and chat about what ever comes to mind. I remember this one time when it was at first just me and my closest friend but another close friend walked by and decided to sit down with us, after some few minutes another one joined and another one soon after. It ended up being me and 8 other friends just chatting and drinking something that we ordered. I like company and that time there was no Corona, no problems and no fights or ugly comments. There was just us all sitting and having a wonderful time, that even the staff still remember us. 
I just wish that Corona could end as soon as possible and I could go out one night at a party and dance my heart out, maybe even hook up with someone in the corner while my head feels are fuzzy from all those shots that I have taken. But however I wish, I could still not do anything like that anytime soon because if my parents knew what I plan to do, they would kill me.
But what have I been up to lately? It pretty much what I have mentioned before, lazy, lazy and did I already mention lazy? But there's also something knew. We decided to take in a puppy some days ago. She's wonderful! Her name is Greata and she is a Bichon Frisé breed. She is loving and loves people. She also bites stuff a lot because she still has her baby teeth, after all she is a puppy of 3 months. So when I'm home with distant learning, I'm not bored and have to go out sometimes. At least she makes me go out and move a little.
But to change the subject a little, I started to write a new story. The one that I have published is not exactly what I had in my mind so I decided to write something else instead. I'm already at chapter 17 and when it reaches 20 I will publish it. And I decided to publish 20 chapters after that too instead of continuing with daily publishing. Honestly it feels like I have already mentioned about my new novel before somewhere but I don't remember so here it was anyway. 
But now it's getting late and I need to sleep so bye bye for now!

So i know that people will mostly ignore if they think that some diaries, just because there’s nothing interesting in the title, will totally ignore reading but what if. What if there is someone out there who has a lot to say. 

So here I am, typing down whatever comes to my mind and not caring the slightest about what everyone will think about me but only here, where I can stay anonymously. Because we all know how much of a chicken we all are out there in the real life. 

So basically I’m still a teen, a teen who doesn’t recognize the meaning in life. The unspoken world where everyone is trying so hard to fit in. What are we? And what if every step in our life weights so much on our shoulders that lastly you can’t stand it anymore and with a light movement you can end it all. Well if you think that I’m a depressed teenager who is doing drugs and I’m outside drinking with a gang where everyone’s a slut and are getting wasted, then you’re wrong! 

So now I’m here with all my bubbled up emotions that I can’t say to anyone but myself. So stay tuned because I’m about to bring out some attitude and fricking shit into everyone that’s reading whatever the heck this is!

"Big Brothers! Big Brothers! Look! Look what I painted!" 

Xiao Jun ran with a painting in her hand and laid it out onto the table in front of her four elder brothers. 

It was a painting of a sunset with a person on a horse, the person had no significant facial features and could've been either male or female but the entire painting carried a mysterious aura and her brothers complimented her on her skills. 

Her eldest brother, Feng Zhang Wei, was a great general in the Suo Kingdom and had won many battles, he was at the age of 18 then and was now at the current age of 28, married, with 4 children.

Her second eldest brother, Feng Li Wei, was the current Crown Prince and was to be the future leader of Suo. He proved his part and was chosen by their father and after an agreement between the brothers. He was at the age of 16 then and was currently 26, married, with two children and another on the way.

Her third eldest brother, Feng Wang Wei, was at the age of 14 and currently was just a prince who studied but now at the age of 24, he ruled over his own city. 

Lastly, her fourth brother, also her twin brother, Feng Xiao Liu, was also 7 at the time and would've been at the age of 17 alongside Xiao Jun but.. he had his own fate. Xiao Liu was older by a few hours and was hence deemed as the older brother to Xiao Jun. 

Her brothers smiled and Xiao Liu gave her a proud look, "I have such a talented little sister!" 

Xiao Jun smiled just as widely and thanked them all for their compliments.

They shooed off Xiao Jun and Xiao Liu as they had private things to discuss. 

Xiao Liu was taken away to study and Xiao Jun was taken away for her lessons on etiquette.

Once night fell, Xiao Jun sat in her room as her maid brushed her hair. Hearing a shrill scream of her name, Xiao Jun jumped off the chair and ran out with her shoes off and her hair flowing freely as the voice sounded familiar to her. 

Running all the way to Xiao Liu's courtyard, she saw Xiao Liu laying on the ground with his maids all dead around him. 

What she saw next made her whole body freeze and she fell to the ground as tears fell. Seeing that she had caught the attention of the assassin, she scrambled to her feet and ran as hard as she could to her parent's courtyard. 

Bursting into the room, her father and mother sat up, startled, as a candle was lit and her father went over to her. 

"Jun'er, what are you doing up so late? Why do you look like this?" her father asked. 

'Had no one else heard the scream of her brother's voice?'

With wide eyes, she pointed to the door and then broke down sobbing. She fell to her knees and cried harder as soldiers ran in with panic on their faces. 

"Your Highness! An assassin broke in somehow and the 4th Prince.. has been assassinated..." a soldier reported. Her father stood up and gave a pained expression as her mother quickly draped a cloak around Xiao Jun and looked her up at down. 

"Jun'er, what did you see? Ah? Can you tell mother?" her mother asked, she caressed Xiao Jun's face slowly and seemed unfazed about the current news, but really, her heart was shattering and her mind was denying it all. 

Xiao Jun looked up at her mother and then quietly spoke, "I..I saw...s-someone... take a s-sword to B-Big Brother's...c-chest...B-Big Brother...is d-dead.." 

Her father cried out and yelled out an order for the assassin to be caught. 

Falling backwards onto her side, her mother let out a muffled sob and then hugged Xiao Jun close to her chest. "My Xiao Liu! What is Xiao Jun to do without you by her side?!" she cried. 

Her father walked over to the two and hugged them both as he cried as well, her three eldest brothers all ran in, hair and clothing disheveled. 

They all fell to their knees and cried for Xiao Liu. 

Since the death of her twin brother, Xiao Liu, Xiao Jun began to dress like a male and said that she wanted to be known as a prince instead of a princess to help ease her mother's pain in losing her youngest son. Her mother denied but the little, stubborn Xiao Jun insisted, hence her new identity as 'Prince' Xiao Jun began.

"Big Sister? Big Sister? Wake up.." 

Light shaking and pokes to her cheek woke Xiao Jun back up and and Mei'er stood there with a towel in hand along with a worried look on her face.

"Are you alright? You've been sitting in the tub since we got back." 

Xiao Jun nodded and took the towel from Mei'er, "I'm fine, can you go to the kitchen and check if we have anything to make for dinner?" 

Mei'er nodded before leaving the room and Xiao Jun dried herself and put her undergarments on along with a simple blue robe with a matching sash at the waist. In her room, she sat in front of her mirror and dried her hair before combing through it and put it up in a wooden hair pin. 

"I cooked some simple dishes for us tonight, but our food stock is still high, so we don't need to go to the shops for a few weeks." Mei'er walked in and helped fix Xiao Jun's hair. 

The night ended with the two girls eating dinner and then going off to sleep.

It has been a year since Covid19 wreaked havoc around the world, tucking us in our homes for safety. I am delighted to be able to write and present a Contemporary-Fantasy themed novel to all of you.
I know somehow most people around my age and younger are bored at home, so might as well motivate everyone to read and enhance their reading comprehension/ critical thinking skills. As an amateur Filipino teen writer I am not expecting so much from this book, but I can't help it, I really want to share a story to everyone and escape the world of reality for a while. Have the chance to travel different worlds without spending money and be able to participate in the protagonist's little adventures.

Months pass by, at early August, Al and Mary went to the publishing house called The World Publishing Company the author such as Ruth Nanda, Robert Ludlum, Rex Stout, and many more published their book with this company and this company has just made their office in Los Angeles.

After some negotiation that handled easily by Mary, they made another fortune of $100,000 USD in cash and divident of 15% of each book sold so that means, the if price of the book is $15 so he got $2.25 for each books sold, and of course because Al has made all of the character design and storyboard so the company only need to rearange, coloring and print the books.

Not only that, if the book becomes best seller, they will made another peripheral such as coloring book and character biodata set as per Al's authorization and this deal exclude film and tv series adaptation, toys and games that was still held by Al's.

Normaly, the adaptation works was held by the publishing house but luckily, Al got Mary. Al's contract only stated that he must at least made 2 more story sequel and the publisher must be World Publishing Company. And also the book can only published if the short story coloumn on the LA Times comes to an end.

The <Toy Story> come to an end and Al have been sent his another story to the LA Times as he promised. The story he made was <Lion King>, because the story lenght of <Up>, <Finding Nemo>, and <Ice Age> was too short, so he decide to make a collection book of it and wrote the <Lion King>.

Because many similarities of the <Kimba the White Lion> and <Lion King>, he decided to change the character name a little bit and their appereance such as Simba became Leeu or Leo, Scar's name and looks was changed and making the story to become more alike to Hamlet african animal version to avoid stink eye from japanese animator.

His popularity within kids and parents began to soar. Now many people knew the name of Alphonse Brandt or Al as pen name but unfortunately, nobody knew how Al was look like. Is he an adult? An old man? A woman? Or a pedophile uncle? So nobody sure how parents will react to their children's favourite author.

When <Toy Story> book was released on September, It became a best seller with 1 million sales on a week. Not only that, peripheral as coloring book and biodata characters also sold out but not as much as the pitcure book.

Many toy companies and animation studio began to contact the publishing house but they can only leave with disappointment. The copyright holder is still in the hand of the author and has no intention to authorized it.

Al got another idea for the toys and peripheral gifts.
' I know that my story will be a success but not THIS success' Al just sigh thinking about that, and maybe even think that he got a protagonist halo..... nah, that only appear on chuuni light novel.

Same as publishing house company, LA Times's sunday post is began to soar because there began many kids who urged their parents to buy the LA Times on sunday morning. Children now would ask if they had read Al's story, if not they won't became your friends.

This leave the board director and many company higher ups regret. They also own a publishing house but they have no children book in their catalog. This made William scolded by board director and call Mary to urged her to publish book on their company.

But unfortunately for them, they have made a deal with other publishing company. So Mary only promised him that Al will write more story to LA times and he already approved it.

"They are our benefactor but just give them a bit or they will become greedy." Said Al

At present time, beside keep playing with kids, because he got money from the publishing house, Al donate $50.000 to the orphanage.

In this way, the orphanage won't get trouble with funding anymore, and also the extra money he got, he decided to buy gifts for his fellow orphans, and both of his caretaker. Mary also got 10% comission, at first Mary is reject it but after always urged by Al everyday, she learns to compromise.

Anyway, he bought some music equipment like keyboard, guitar, and other music instrument and build a studio in one of the empty room in orphanage, it cost $10.000 for all of it.

In this month, Al learn all the skill that needed for entertainment industry. Singing, Music, Acting, Filmmaking.

While music can be practiced at home, so he needs to learn about acting and filmography. He bought a 8mm camera, and start experimenting by taking a documentary shoot about daily activity in orphanage. For acting, he just needed a perfect moment to do that.

Life goes on, celebrating Haloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and last is New Year. Al's life was full of learning and trainings, not only that he also writing a few short stories to LA Times and just an early December ago , he publish a book named <Jurassic Park>.

After the book was released, it created another storm of crazed reading by many of his fans and sci-fi reader.

Even the book critics praise this novel as one of the pioneering work of biology science fiction and also dna scientist was interested to experimenting this and want to invite the author to a science fair.

'Fk, if they knew who write this book was 10 year old kid, all of them must be feel ashamed because they belive in child's fantasies haha...' So of course as Mary keep Al's identity a secret, they reject them by telling them the author want to live in peaceful life.

The new year of 1981 is come, and the orphanage family celebrate it together, Al keep buying them a lot of gifts.

He even thinking whether to hire an agent from talent agency to enter hollywood. After consulting with Mary, she also approve this and even suggest Al to hire personal assistant or even manager.

Both Mary and Mrs K know that Al's dream was to make movies, so they also knew that Al need experience and the best way to start from bottom was to become child star first to gain some fame.

" Well I got some recommendation from my friends to contact this new agency, although they only established 5 years ago, they got some good connection in this industry." Said Mary

" Really? What this agency called?" Asked Al. "The Creative Artist Agency, it was built by Michael Ovitz, ex-senior agent of William Morris Agency." Mary said.

'CAA?' Thought Al, what he knew from his past life was this agency is really strong in the 90s, not only they got half of the A-list hollywood actors/actress, they really dominate the production of the film itself, and even he heard that the one of the agents, because his signed customer was failed at audition, he come to the one of the hollywood big six studio and threatening their CEO.

This made CAA become more dominering and made all film studio wary, so all hollywood production company made an agreement to put pressure on CAA, by rejecting some of their customer and their film project. So CAA began to yield and even more so, since late 90s, the film production company most of them became media group or own by important people.

The most famous things that CAA made was their packaging project, and it's succesiveness change the gameplay of hollywood's talent agency.

After much thinking Al said" Okay, please call them then, but make sure that the contract is short and I don't want to follow any plan they design for me, I want to do things ny own way, I heard that some talent agency forcing their customer to publicize their personal life."

" Don't worry Al, I'll make sure if the agency is forcing you, we will change immidiately." Said Mary
