Joshua scratches his head while writing his game design. He already writes about all of what he knows about pokemon gen 3, but he also forgot so many things. He then remembered that the system gave him an item memory serum thing.

"Right, how could I forgot that!" Joshua opens the system inventory and used the memory serum. As soon as memory serum was used, a window prompt is shown in front of his eyes indicating that he needs to think about a game from his previous world. He thinks about pokemon Fire Red from his previous world. The reason he didn't choose Ruby or Sapphire and skipped two generations is that he want to bring Pokemon IP to this world in chronological order. Also, he didn't know if gamers in this world would also love pokemon, so he needs to test the water. Anyway, he needs to bring the classic Pokemon game first!

Many details about pokemon Fire Red were quickly remembered by him, he even vividly remembers the game trailer and promo poster. He quickly wrote of what all he needs to work on the game and what modern change incorporated into the game. He uses the generation 3 pokemon game as a base. But because of time constraints, he cut the generation 3 and generation 2 pokemon to the original 151 like on generation 1, with mew as an event pokemon. He also slips one easter egg. After the player beats the pokemon champion with only one pokemon in the party, the player can access the Nuzlocke challenge from the options menu.

Joshua also fixes many unreasonable things of generation 1 pokemon like Charizard cannot learn Fly TM, because there is no dual typing in generation 1 game. He also adds a connectivity function between players with wifi built-in wifi integration. He still remembers when he was just a kid, using cable for trading pokemon is a hassle. Even without an internet connection, the player could also use ad hoc wifi to trade and battle. He also adds a wifi lobby area on the third floor of the Pokemon center, so friends could hang out and show off their pokemon. Joshua also adds pokemon following you outside the battle function. This function is added to add the game attractiveness for the player. Lastly, he adds the most radical change, gender locking for each version. It is also to emphasize that this game is better when played with your friends.


For the next 30 days, Joshua worked hard creating his very first game. Although he already remembered vividly the game with the memory serum, he didn't have any drawing and sound editing ability. What holds him back the most is the background sprite and background music. He lamented that he didn't have drawing and sound editing abilities, he was sure he could finish the game in just 5 days.

The day of the submission deadline is nearing, and he finally finished the game just 3 days before the deadline. With 1 day of testing the game and making sure there are no bugs in the game, he successfully brings the Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Water Blue into this world! As for why he didn't choose Leaf Green? Well, he thought that Water Blue sounds better for attracting female gamers.

"Right right, I need to register the pokemon IP. I'll cr blood if someone stole my IP." He searches for a way to register his game IP. Fortunately for him, in this world, everything can be done online. Just pay a little money and you can register your game to World Video Game Association with its Intellectual Property. In this world, Intellectual Property infringement is taken seriously by the authorities, and the violator would end up in jail. Joshua finished his IP registration and nodded. Very nice, great success!

On 29th October, Joshua submitted his finished games to the Crimson Game Studio. He didn't have to be concerned if Crimson Game Studio would steal his game because he already registers the IP and the game. Now he only needs to wait...

5th November, Crimson Game Studio Headquarter

A young man rushes his way to the lift and presses the button to the top floor. He needs to attend a very important annual meeting and Crimson Game Studio 10th anniversary meeting. Stuart is newly appointed mid-level management by the company, and he was eager to prove his capability to the company. Last year after his graduation, he made one successful game for the company and was promoted to D Class game designer by the Association. On the way up, he met senior-level management. This senior is one of few A-Class game designers working for the company.

"Senior Albert, Good morning." Stuart greeted enthusiastically.

"Oh, hello Stuart. How do you do? What about your preparation for the company anniversary?" Albert smiled and greeted back. He is very fond of this junior employee. Smart and resourceful

"It's finished, but I don't know if the leader will be happy with my work," Stuart said while scratching his head in embarrassment. The lift ding-ed and they arrived at the top floor.

"Don't worry, be confident of yourself. Work hard and strive to become an A-Class game designer. I have high hope on you." Albert patted his shoulder and get out of the lift. Stuart was stunned by the concern his senior gave and was excited. He followed Albert from behind to the meeting room.

Many mid-level and senior-level employees already arrived at the meeting room. When the CEO of Crimson Company arrived, all of the employees shut their mouths.

"All the personnel are here? Alright. Let us start the annual meeting..."

Each division reported about their achievement and finally at the end of the meeting.

"... Sir Alfred, how about main competition selection?" The CEO asked Alfred.

"I already completed the task, leader," Alfred said.

"Good, what about the amateur competition?" The CEO then asked Stuart.

"Completed, leader!" Stuart said with confidence.

"Very good. Let us conclude our annual meeting right now. You two, stay." The CEO nodded and conclude the meeting. All the employees are left, leaving the CEO and two guys. Stuart and Albert were nervous when they approach the CEO. Because the CEO is one of very few S Class game designers in the continent! To become an S Class game designer, one needs to create an acclaimed game, and his achievement in the game industry needs to be recognized by the World Video Game Association. This man in front of them is the youngest S Class in the Asia continent. At his age of 36, he was promoted to S Class game designer from creating 'Doomdsday', a highly acclaimed game by the critics 2 years ago.

"Reporting to the leader, I have selected 20 games for the competition. All the games are above the industry standards. Especially this game, 'The Hunt', a very unique premise of island zombie survival RPG." Albert shows the reports to the CEO. The CEO received the report and read it briefly. He then nodded and looked at Stuart.

"What about you?" The CEO asked Stuart.

"Reporting to the leader, I have selected about 100 submitted games for the competition. All selected games are made with great quality. But, there is this one game that is very different from the rest. How do I say it..." Stuart scratches his head, unsure of what he should say.

"Talk," The CEO said 

"Umm leader, it's like this... Although the game is very fresh and interesting, I didn't know how to evaluate it because there is no premise in the industry like this game before. Essentially, it's an RPG but with a catching mechanism and also... He submits 2 games..." Stuart said with difficulty.

"2 games? It is already stated that each contestant cannot submit 2 different games. Why did he submit 2 games? Choose 1 the better one." The CEO frowned.

"Leader, the 2 games is essentially is just 1 game. Leader, here is the report." Stuart gave his report of the Pokemon Fire Red and Water Blue to the CEO. The CEO received the report suspiciously and read it carefully. After finished reading the report, he knows what Stuart means by 2 games is just essentially 1 game. Joshua already stated in his submission that this novelty is called Two Flavored Games. The so-called Two Flavored games is just a gimmick of one game made into two variant. Interesting...

Although interesting, is this gameplay good though? Catching and collecting pets? It's known by all industry insiders in this world that, a good RPG needs customization elements and equipment to make your main character stronger. Catching and collecting pets RPG? There is no premise in this world before. The CEO then said.

"Alright, it's not a problem. It's approved, but just one booth for both games. And double the game demo cartridge on this booth so the attendee could try both." Stuart nodded. Although he already plays it and finds the game fun, he not optimistic about this game. But what he didn't know was that the fun in the Pokemon game is not just catching and collecting pokemon, but also trading and battling another trainer. It's double the fun than play it alone!

Joshua sat in front of his computer playing an RPG game. He already plays all the famous PC games on his laptop. All the popular game he played is just so so! He also found out that this world also lacked esports games. What the hell, aren't they bored playing repetitive MMORPG? Maybe, he could bring the toxicity of competitive esports to this world.

Ring... Ring...

"Hello?" Joshua answered the call.

"Hello, us this Mr. Joshua? Congratulations, your game is selected to compete in the amateur competition. Please come to our headquarters in Star City by 29th November to prepare your booth."

"Really? Alright, thank you!" Joshua was excited.

"Could you send us material for the poster? We will hang the poster above your booth."

"Poster material? Ok, no problem! I'll send it to you as soon as possible!"

Joshua excitedly opens the free vector editor software and creates the propaganda poster. He needs to create a poster that could attract all the mainstream Crimson Go users, young to old, male and female alike!

After finding out I was the best in my class the prof wanted me to help in research and I found out that there are weird types of Pokémon such as godly Pokémon or demonic Pokémon these are kinda like shiny's but make them more strong and I also found out that this world is like a randomizer (you can find things from common to legendary Pokemon on route one.

Today is the day I get my first Pokémon and I already know what I'm gonna choose,after finally arriving at the lab after 20 min prof oak noticed me

"Oh hello black you are the first to arrive that means you can pick first" prof oak said

"Thanks," I said to prof oak while looking at the 3 pokeballs on the mat

"now go choose your Pokémon" oak said while pointing to the Pokéballs

"Ok I choose you Charmander!"I yelled out while releasing them out of the pokeball 

"Char char!" Charmander said while running up to me 

"Hey black" I hear as I turn my head to identify the voice it was red who looked as if he had run a marathon 

"aww you already got Charmander. Gess, I'll take Bulbasaur" as Red walked to Bulbasaur's Pokeball

"I choose you Bulbasaur!" Red said releasing Bulbasaur out of his Pokeball 

"Am I late to the party?" blue said while he walked through the door

"just on time blue we still have Squirtle Eevee and Pikachu" prof oak said to blue

"I pick Squirtle, I don't want any of those weaklings," blue said with a smug look

"oh everyone is already here!?!" green said while peeking her head around the corner 

"would you like Eevee or Pikachu" prof oak said to her

"Eevee, please," she said with a smile

"And that just leaves..." prof oak said while looking at the door

"I'm here!!" ash yelled running through the door late

"There is only Pikachu left ash you will have to pick them," prof oak said while looking at ash

"Aww, know what I will take Pikachu!" ash said while grabbing the Pokeball for Pikachu 

"now let's get going," I said while walking away

Man dies and gets reincarnated with a system but it has cheats and cheat codes from Pokémon games( this was mainly based on the anime because I for some reason can’t complete the games:( lol)

I've played enough Pokemon games to immediately understand someone out there was fucking with me. Five was the amount given to any starting trainer in every game as of generation three.
I was about to swing the back up on my backpack back on and try and come up with a plan of action when a guttural chirp of pain resounded through the area from where the stone went flying.
I heard the beating of wing, a loud sound of outrage and turned to find a god damn freaking bird flying at me and its face was fucking glowing!
It was so damn fast I only had time to roll slightly out of the way before it skewered me. I hissed, pain flaring at my ribs, it hadn't completely missed me.
Whirling around to face my attacker, I froze in shock. Because beating its wings to stay afloat in the air a good dozen or so feet away was a god damn Pidgey. The cream underbelly, pink beak, brown over feathers. I'd recognize one of them easy with how many of them I've caught over the course of my pokemon gaming career.
"You've got to be kidding me..." I whispered.
Its wings began to glow. That wasn't a good thing. I thought fast and furiously, there were a ton of moves that flying pokemon used with their wings that caused them to glow. That could be Wing Attack or hells even Steel wing. I definitely didn't want to get hit by a Steel Wing. I'd seen tiny little Fletchling obliterate large boulders in the anime with that move. If that thing hit me I was a dead man.
But god damnit a familiar pounding began to round in my head, blood flowing hotly and as always I could never take a slight lying down and my temper always got the better of me.
"I dare you to fucking try that again you little piece of shit!" I shouted at it angrily. I was so done with this shit. "I'm gonna fucking beat you down and cook you over a camp fire you stupid little bitch!"
The Pidgey let out an outraged squawk at that. With a beat of its wings, a powerful gust of wind was blew out harshly behind it and the little bird shot down at me like a bullet.
I as too angry to be afraid though.
I waited.
It took less than two seconds for it to close to distance.
But it had to turn to hit me, otherwise it would just be a full on body tackle and my body weight would let me win the day, even if I was a runty twelve year old again.
So when it turned, I took my chance.
I punched that god damn bitch of a bird in the face as hard as I could.
It chirped loudly in pain threw back into the dirt with all the force I could muster in my fist and never before was I more glad that I'd only recently got kicked out of my kick boxing classes for being too rough at twelve.
It landed on its back making an odd squealing noise of pain and my damn hand felt like somebody took a freaking metal baseball bat to it.
Call it instinct I suppose but the minute that bird hit the dirt, I wasn't idle. The pokeball in my other hand left it in a flash and before the bird could get to its feet, the sphere hit it straight in the chest and to my utter awe and astonishment, I watched as the bird was sucked inside of the damn thing in a burst of red light.
I panted deeply staring at the ball. It began to blink red and roll around. One blink, two and then I let out a deep breath as it pinged loudly just the way the anime did to signify a capture.
I collapsed on my ass then, "Oh my fucking god!" I laughed loudly and outrageously, "This shit is so fucking retarded!"
Either I was freaking dreaming or somehow I've been de-aged and thrown into the pokemon world. This is some trippy shit man.
It was then I remembered I had a pokedex app. Reaching in to my jeans I grabbed my phone before booting up the pokedex app. It looked really no different than the pokedex you saw on the official pokemon website, you know the one with the card game and news of upcoming events and shit? Except, there in the corner was a little button that said scan.
I pressed it.
"No pokemon in view of capture lens." A monotone voice said.
I blinked for a moment before realizing I had the camera lens pointed at the ground. I got up on shaky feet before making my way towards my newly captured Pidgey's pokeball and picking it up. I aimed the lens at the pokeball and hit scan again.
"Pidgey, the Tiny Bird Pokemon. Pidgey is a Flying Pokémon, Pidgey's Gustpower creates tornadoes. Gender: Male, Height: 1'03 – Attacks Known: Gust, Sand Attack, Quick Attack, Peck, Wing Attack." My phone turned pokedex informed me.
Holy crap.
Wait, why didn't it use Quick Attack on me? I I mean, I saw it use a small gust to propel itself forward and that was one awesome tactic in itself I'd need to keep that in mind, but if it used Quick Attack there's no way I would have been fast enough to punch it.
Was this just a case of it- him not taking me seriously? Granted now that I think about it, in the anime rarely did any human think to hit a pokemon back, only Ash and the like ever done that.
Either way, I did confirm one thing at least. Well, if this wasn't some dream or delusion at least. I'm not in the game-verse, I'm in the anime one. Pidgey in the games didn't learn Wing Attack till like level 30 ods. And I seriously doubt that if this were the game a level 30 ods Pidgey would be sitting in Route 1.
Not to mention, Pidgey didn't even learn freaking Peck in the games. Only in a few of its card versions.
I shook my head. Delusion or not, no time to panic or over think. I need to find somewhere I can stay and get some food. Didn't Pokemon Centres give free food and lodging to trainers? Viridian's my first stop then, and from there I'll need to find a way to get my hands on some cash quick style.
...And maybe teach this Pidgey how to use Steel Wing. Thanks to watching Ash train Pikachu, I have a good idea how to do that so that would be my best bet if I decide to take on Gyms...maybe. I wonder if my idea that league trainers make a shit ton of cash has any merit to it?

A Pokemon Self Insert story. So there I was enjoying myself at a bar about to try my luck at picking up a pretty girl and then bam! I'm on Route 1, short as shit and somehow twelve again. Oh well, at the very least I can get that Charizard I always dreamed of.

Intro-kun: Our young hero is finally facing off against the formidable gym leader Lt Surge for the Thunder Badge! Will he come out victorious or not! Stay tune and read in order to find out!
Morning came and I was in front of the gym. The guy shouted, "The gym leader is here! Just please don't shout!" I said, "I'm not shouting. You are." Misty giggled finding it amusing. I grinned and said, "Let's go then! 3rd Gym Badge here I come!" The man sighed as he weakly led us inside.
He was honestly suffering quite a bit considering what he was going through but I did not care too much. It was all fun and games and plus it was not as if I was going to annoy him for much longer. Arriving inside the gym, Lt Surge approached us and asked, "Who are these kids? Did they come for an autograph?"
Lt Surge was huge! I'm pretty sure he was above 8 feet. Of course, I was lacking behind due to my age so I felt like a toddler only reaching above his waist. What did they feed this man!? Shaking my head I said, "I'm here to challenge you to a gym battle!"
Lt Surge laughed as he said, "Kid, stop playing games with me. Tell me what you want." I took out my pokeball and said with a thin smile, "I'm not." He laughed and said, "Good! I like your spirit! I will enjoy crushing you. Let's go kid. It's your funeral."
He took our positions where he announced the rules, "I will fight using only one pokemon and you must beat me using all of your pokemon. How does that sound?" I nodded and said, "Good!" I knew that beating Lt Surge was going to be difficult since he specialized in training a single pokemon making it much more difficult to defeat it.
Fortunately, my team size increased and if I work well with my new pokemon I might be able to weaken it but then again using flying types at the end was a dangerous move since he could slaughter my team with a single hit.
My memories of pokemon tell me that his Raichu specializes in close combat and the basic electric moves of Thunder Shock and Thunderbolt. I will need to be careful to not let my guard down when facing it I close combat as well as making it use up its energy.
He smiled seeing me think carefully and took it as nervousness. He chuckled and said, "Fine kid! I will go first! Come out Raichu!" He tossed his pokeball and Raichu appeared on the field with a confident face. I turned my hat backwards and took out my pokeball and said, "Alright, go Butterfree!"
Butterfree appeared with a determined expression. It knew that the time for battle was now and things were going to get serious. Butterfree let out a determined, "Free!" I nodded and said, "Yeah! We will give it our best!"
Lt Surge smiled seeing out comradeship but that won't make him go any easier. It actually made him want to give out a harsher attack in order to see our reaction. Lt Surge shouted, "Raichu use Thunderbolt!" I shouted, "Butterfree use Quiver Dance and escape!" Raichu shot out a large bolt of lightning towards Butterfree but Butterfree quickly avoided it by moving its wings in a high frequency.
Lt Surge shouted, "Raichu! Go and use Mega Punch!" Raichu lifted its arm and gathered energy causing a white energy to appear around it before rushing towards Butterfree. I shouted, "Butterfree us String Shot and slow it down!" Butterfree began trying to shoot it with strings of web.
I did not order it to make a web field since I have Dratini and wanted it to fight as well to gain some experience. Unfortunately, this was a mistake as Raichu easily dodged the String Shots and leapt in front of Butterfree and punched it to the ground.
Butterfree flopped twice before coming to a stop. I frowned and said, "Come on Butterfree! You can do it!" Butterfree struggled to get up. Lt Surge laughed and said, "Just give up. It ain't getting back up!" I smiled and said, "You are wrong! I know Butterfree! A single punch won't defeat it!"
Butterfree hearing the confidence of its trainer gained some more vigor and got up ready to fight. I said, "Great job! Are you ready for round 2?" Butterfree nodded wanting to get payback on Raichu. Lt Surge was surprised but he said, "Useless struggle. Raichu go forward and shock it to submission!"
I frowned seeing that. If an electrical moves is done as at point blank then Butterfree will definitely fall. I wonder if I should use Psychic attacks and win. In the end, I discarded that idea since I should not become over reliant on psychic attacks.
I shouted, "Butterfree use Whirlwind and slow it down!" Butterfree flapped its wings sending a strong wing towards Raichu causing it to slow down. Lt Surge shouted, "Come on Raichu! Just shock it from there!" I shouted, "Butterfree dodge it and use Air Slash!" Raichu let out a thin Thunder Shock towards Butterfree who dodged it and flapped its wings sending blades of air towards it.
Lt Surge smiled as he shouted, "Do it now Raichu!" Raichu grinned maliciously as it moved its tail to touch the ground and pushed itself into the air. I was surprised not expecting such a sudden air born attack. Lt Surge shouted, "Now Raichu use Body Slam!" I shouted, "Butterfree use Tackle!" Both Pokemon collided and came to a halt for a couple of seconds before Raichu weight overpowered Butterfree causing it to crash on the ground.
Raichu got off Butterfree showing that it fainted. I withdrew Butterfree and said, "Great work Butterfree. Sorry that I made you go through that." Lt Surge said, "Next pokemon kid!" I pulled out another pokeball and shouted, "Come out Zubat!" Zubat appeared flapping its wings.
Lt Surge laughed and said, "Oi squirt, are all your pokemon flying type?" I decided to not answer while Misty on the sidelines sighed thinking that it was dumb for me to focus on only 1 type of pokemon but it was my fault. The two bug type turned partially into flying and I could not do much against that.
Pidgey was all a great starter pokemon in any game so I caught it and now I was here. The only 2 other pokemon I encountered and caught were Dratini and Zubat. In a way, I deserved most of the blame considering the fact that I did not catch any other pokemon I encountered on the journey.
I did encounter Sandshrew, Nidoran, Oddish and so on but I never thought to deeply about it and continued moving on or fought them quickly and left. I will have to change the way how I do things in the future but right now there was no time to regret previous decisions.
I shouted, "Zubat use Absorb!" Zubat shot a red laser towards Raichu who quickly dodged it. Lt Surge shouted, "Raichu! Don't stand for that! Use Thundershock! Raichu gripped its fists and shot out a thin bolt of lightning towards Zubat. I shouted, "Zubat dodge it quickly!" Zubat tried to dodge but it got hit in the wing causing it to fall.
I felt bitter thinking that I did not spend more time training it. I asked, "Zubat can you still get up?" Zubat struggled a bit before fainting. Lt Surge laughed and said, "Is that the best you got?" I returned Zubat back to its pokeball and said, "We will see."
I got another and tossed it shouting, "Come out Beedrill!" Beedrill appeared with a fierce look on its face. It wanted to fight right away but waited for its trainer order. Lt Surge shook his head and said, "Raichu just beat it with a Thunderbolt. "
I smiled as I shouted, "Beedrill use Swift and approach it!"  Raichu shot out a Thunderbolt that was promptly avoided by Beedrill without giving it a chance to get near it. Lt Surge was shocked from the speed and quickly ordered, "Raichu! Quickly shock it away!" I shouted, "Beedrill back off!"
Raichu released a massive amount of electricity as several currents of electricity left its body heading towards Beedrill. I shouted, "Beedrill use Harden and Pin Missile!" Beedrill body hardened and shot out attacks to the Thunderbolt but the power used on the attack was too large and ended up striking Beedrill.
Beedrill fell on the ground with electricity criss crossing over its body. Misty shouted, "Zane! Beedrill is paralyzed! Quickly withdraw it!" I clicked my tongue and said, "You did great Beedrill. Take a good rest!" I returned Beedrill back into its pokeball.
Lt Surge said, "How many more are left kid? You can't have more than 3 after all." I answered, "Two but your Raichu is not looking so hot. Raichu was breathing heavily after using that kind of attack. Lt Surge shouted, "Raichu can defeat your other pokemon! Right Raichu!" Raichu shouted in agreement, "Rai!"
I shook my head thinking that it was somewhat childish but considering my first Gym Battle I did not have the right to say that. I wondered if I should use Pidgeotto or Dratini and decided to us Dratini. I knew it was not smart leaving Pidgeotto for last but this was an opportunity for Dratini to gain some experience now that Raichu was tired out.
I tossed a pokeball shouting, "Come out Dratini!" Dratini appeared let out a roar ready to fight. I grinned and said, "Are you ready Dratini?" Dratini nodded and glared at Raichu. Lt Surge said, "Hey kid. How did you catch that pokemon?" I said, "If you beat me then I will tell you."
Lt Surge laughed and said, "Then you don't stand a chance! Let's go Raichu! Use Thunderbolt!" Raichu curled its fists and tried to send it but found it impossible. Lt Surge was surprised as he said, "Come on Raichu!"
I smiled and said, "It can't! You had it use all its electricity on its last attack. Now it can only rely on physical attacks at the moment." Lt Surge regained him calm and said, "Doesn't matter! That is all we need! Go and beat the Dratini!"
Raichu nodded and rushed towards Dratini. I shouted, "Dratini use Leer!" Dratini eyes glowed red for a few moments and Raichu shivered feeling more defenseless than usual. That though did not stop its approach. I paid careful attention and saw that Raichu was going to punch.
I shouted, "Leap into the air!"  Dratini jumped into the air avoiding Raichu's Mega Punch that created a hole on the ground. Lt Surge shouted, "Raichu catch it and use Take Down!" Raichu jumped into the air and tried to catch Dratini.
I shouted, "Dratini use Wrap!" Dratini body wiggled and moved around Raichu arms and curled around it. Lt Surge shouted, "Raichu break free from it!" I shouted, "Now Dratini use Dragon Rage!" Raichu struggled to break free while Dratini focused its energy on its mouth and struggled to hold on.
Fortunately, Raichu was already tired out and right before it broke free Dratini shot the Dragon Range at point blank causing an explosion that covered the field. Lt Surge was shocked as he shouted, "Raichu! Are you alright!?" The smoke cleared and revealed 2 pokemon.
Raichu was barely holding on while Dratini was fine. Lt Surge sighed in relieve as he said, "Great! No-" I said, "It's over." Raichu who could no longer endure it fell over and fainted. The referee seeing this shouted, "The winner of the Gym Battle is Zane!"

Both Dratini and me cheered happy over our victory. Misty sighed in relieve saying, "That was a close one. If he didn't have that many pokemon then he would have definitely lost." What she did not realize was that I could have easily won.
I could have use Psychic from Butterfree and defeated Raichu or been more cautious with Beedrill by opting with a distance attack and tire Raichu out completely. That won't make me a better trainer so I limited myself to the point that the fight could become intense.
Surge sighed as he walked over to his Raichu and said, "Are you alright buddy?" Raichu was no longer showed a confident expression but a relaxed one nodded with a smile say, "Rai." Lt Surge said, "Alright buddy. Take a good rest." He returned Raichu to its pokeball.
Walking over to me he said, "Kid, that was one heck of a battle." I grinned and said, "I know! It was really fun fighting you. You should try and have more fun like this instead of hurting other pokemon." Lt Surge laughed awkwardly and said, "You heard of that huh?" I nodded and said, "Yeah and I must tell you that it would be better to listen."
I began explaining my reasoning, "What you are doing is making people want to avoid your gym. Imagine when no one comes. No more battles or fun. Gyms are supposed to be obstacles not dead ends. If you want another great battle then teach trainers after defeating them. Advise them and you will have a great time fighting them afterwards."
Lt Surge was shocked as he thought deeply for a moment before grinning and saying, "I did not think of it like that. Thanks kid. I will. Here is your Thunder Badge." He knelt down and gave it to me. I grinned and said, "Thank you Lt Surge. We better get going and so should you. We need to treat our pokemon." Lt Surge laughed and said, "Hey kid. If you ever need my help feel free to ask. I like people with your kind of spirit."
I chuckled and said, "Will do. Well, bye Lt Surge!" He waved me goodbye. Outside I reunited with Misty who teased, "Hey hey, you almost lost." I laughed and said, "I sure did but it was so much fun! Dratini was incredible at the end and all my pokemon were just as amazing! Butterfree did a great job in forcing Raichu to use a Thunderbolt and tiring it out physically. Beedrill did another great job by forcing it to use most of its electricity and Zubat was also a great support for that. Sadly, I did not have time to train it so I feel bad for it."
Misty placed a hand on my shoulder and consoled, "It's alright. Next time, you will train your Zubat properly right?" I smiled with confidence and said, "You bet I will! Zubat will have its moment sooner or later!"
Misty felt happy seeing my reaction. She found it somewhat attractive but not to the point that it would affect her feelings too much. She was just happy being able to be there and said, "Good, let's go heal your pokemon." I nodded and said, "Will do!"

Random pokemon story which I'm not trying. If it does well I might post one I'm actually trying on. Who knows. Anyway, protagonist gets killed and given 3 wishes. He wishes for a system and a nice family. His days start peaceful until his journey in pokemon and finding a harem begins. I will listen to my audience even though I doubt there will be many interesting in reading this story. I will post whenever I want.

Joseph flicked Pikachu's head to make him stop frightening Lance.
"Stop it if you continue I wont give you extra snacks this afternoon snack time." Joseph said like a parent disciplining his child.
"Pikapi." Pikachu said in sad tone then his ears went down.
"You did great earlier." Joseph smiled at the monstrous pokemon and patted Pikachu's head. Pikachu's mood became better again after being praised by his trainer. Joseph actually wanted to call his Pikachu's name but he remembered that the Pikachu's name is Fuckachu he immediately declined that thought.
Joseph is your typical nonsense pokemon namer, when he felt that the name was funny he will name his pokemon with it.
"Kuhum! Joseph won this friendly match!" Professor Oak fake coughed after he recovered from the shock.
"Mr. Johnson your Pikachu is an extremely powerful pokemon." Lorelei said with amazement on her face her Jynx's injuries from the her battle with Machamp was fully healed after using Dream Eater but Jynx got one hit KOed by this adorable electric type pokemon.
"I agree with Lorelei, your Pokemon is really strong." Bruno stepped in and offered a handshake. "It's nice to meet a strong trainer like you Mr. Johnson."
Joseph smiled then he accepted Bruno's handshake. Joseph noticed a lot of callous on his knuckles because of always punching hard objects. "Nice to meet you Mr. Bruno."
The other two members of elite four, Agatha and Lance also greeted Joseph and they asked him if he's a champion before.
"No." Joseph's simple answer made them suspicious about him.
"By the way lad where are you from?" Professor Oak curiously asked.
"I came from Alola region." Joseph smiled at them.
"I see, now I understand why a man as strong as you isn't a champion." Professor Oak nodded while holding his chin, Agatha also did the same after realizing Joseph was telling the truth.
The three younger Elite four was confused and asked the ex-couple.
"I have a cousin staying in Alola region so, I know some matters in that region. The reason Joseph isn't a champion is because there is no League tournament there." Professor Oak turned his head towards Joseph.
"Yes Professor Oak is indeed right but I heard that the Pokemon League will also make a League tournament in our region soon but for now I just want to relax and enjoy my self living in this city with my pokemon before joining the league." Joseph already researched some of the current matters in Alola.
"So there are hidden strong trainers in that region." Lance weirdly glanced at the Pikachu whose staring at him without blinking then the Pikachu gave him a mocking smile, Lance choose to ignore the Pikachu.
"I thought you came here to join this year's league tournament, if that's the case I will train my pokemon hard because of you." Bruno said with disappointment.
"Maybe after I got bored on managing my small store." Joseph smiled.
"I see." Joseph nodded.
"Lad you showed us your great battling skills and defeated Lorelei, the League would like to invite you to take over this gym and be its gym leader." Agatha said seriously.
"I'm sorry but as I said earlier were here just to relax." Joseph declined, he knows that being a gym leader means countless battles everyday.
"Don't worry about it being always challenged, we actually saw this coming after Mr. Pokemon told that you just want to lay low from battles." The old woman mysteriously smiled.
"Ma'am please explain." Joseph slightly tilted his head and gave Agatha a questioning look.
"This gym will be the last gym that will be challenged after a trainer gets 7 major gym badges around the Kanto region." Agatha explained.
"I see." Joseph nodded. 'So the thing happened in this Gym is the same situation in Games."
"What do you think? The League will also pay monthly salary you after you took the position." Professor Oak asked.
"Let me think about it in a few days first." Joseph said to the two old people.
"Okay." The old ex-couple nodded.
"Mr. Johnson may I ask if you are a move tutor?" Lance curiously asked.
"No, but I can teach some compatible moves to a pokemon." Joseph just slapping some TMs on the pokemon's head to learn some moves inside the game.
"If you guys don't mind, I need to go back to run my shop." Joseph politely asked.
"No worries but you should think about our offer." Professor Oak smiled and the others just stared at Joseph.
"I will." Joseph nodded then he turned his head to Arcanine and Pikachu. "Let's go buddies, Houndoom and Machamp needs to be healed in the Pokemon Center."
Pikachu jumped on Joseph's shoulder and gave Lance a last annoying smug face. Lance just ignored the annoying electric mouse.

Joseph, Pikachu and Arcanine arrived at the nearest Pokemon Center.
This is the first time Joseph will entering this world's pokemon center, unlike the pokemon centers in games this world's pokemon center is 5 times larger with a lot of young trainers waiting for their pokemon to be healed.
Joseph can easily summon a chansey to heal the two pokemon but he was curious on what pokemon center looks like.
The pokemon center have lots of nurses and the head nurse of the center is none other than Nurse Joy.
"Hello, Welcome to Viridian City's Pokemon Center." Said the female nurse on the counter.
"I would like to heal my pokemon." Joseph politely said.
"Please show us your trainer card." The nurse looked at Joseph's face after she stopped from doing some stuffs.
"Okay." Joseph took his trainer ID in his wallet and gave it to the nurse, the nurse wrote something and passed a ticket to Joseph.
"Mr. Joseph Johnson, go to the Room number 26 and give this ticket to the attending nurse and because you are newly registered trainer without any badges and only fought 1 official battle, the pokemon center can only heal 2 pokemons for free and if you want to heal more you need to pay for it." The nurse said then she passed back Joseph's trainer ID.
"Thank you." Joseph nodded and left the counter to find the room 26. "This world is really different from the pokemon world I know."
In the waiting area there are a lot of trainers chatting with each other.
"Hey have you heard the rumour?" A young male trainer said to another one.
"What rumour?" Trainer-2 ate his snack and tilted his head.
"A legendary pokemon spotted in Viridian forest!" Trainer-1 said with lowered voice.
"What?! Really?!" The Trainer-2 exclaimed in shock and all of the waiting Trainers' attention was caught.
"Idiot why did you shout!" Trainer-1 threw an empty poke ball on Trainer-2's head.
Joseph heard their silly conversation and hypothesized that the Entei event is going to happen really soon. Joseph doesn't have any thoughts on that Entei since he also have some of that legendary pokemon on his box.
"I hope Verity and Ash will become travelling companions now." Joseph was walking straight and saw room 26 from a distance and walked towards that room.
All of a sudden a young man bumped into him and the young man falls on his butt.
"Asshole!" The young man shouted.
"Eh?!" Joseph was stunned because the guy was so impolite and acting like a thug. "Kid you are the one who bumped at me and what the hell is wrong with your shitty mouth?"

Flashback****

  Hey there my name is Jason King i'm just your typical 19 year old teen I have been a Pokemon fan ever since i was 5 years old. 

i have played Pokemon the legit way , the cheat way , and the iv trainer way . 

Pokemon still to this day isn't boring to me because of all the hacks and new Pokemon games that have been introduced since 2015.

But none of that could've prepared me for what was going to happen today and every day after.

My father owns a giant corporation here in New York and I have been a coder and security adviser in the company for 3 years ever since i breezed through collage at 17.

One day I noticed something off at one our main buyers in the city The National Bank.

So i packed my bag with tools and had my personal weapon attached to my hip-a handgun,because this city isn't safe in anybodies mind. 

i head to the back of the bank to the security personals entrance and i noticed the silent alarm was going off but the signal was blocked.

So i connected myself to the network and and broke the firewall like it was a cake walk.

 ( i didn't mention i had spent 2 years of my child hood in juviee for hacking my dads company just for his attention)

I wait for the network to finish. But as its finshing I see the leader of the group point his gun at a young girl not just any girl tho it was my little sister.

So i pull out my fire arm , aim and hold it steady and pull the trigger at the guy before he can hurt my sister . 

then as the gunshot goes off the see the guy dead and on the ground then they unload magazines full of bullets at my direction .

I was hit by lots of the bullets .

But alas saving grace came the swat entered right after they unloaded there magazines so they had no time to reload they were all taken down 

 As the medics get to me i see a bright light.

Here's a tale a great tale of one of the greatest trainers ever to see the world of pokemon. yes of course we see our maIn character at library  with his group of friends battling for bragging rights on his 3ds , of course he had his try hard team clearing house . as he's about to win we hear the sounds of jets in the background(of course our mc doesn't look) but as he select's his umbreon's move dark pulse to win a explosion happens. (at least its not truck-kun)

This is just some basic information in case anyone is curious about the changes I've made to make Pokemon more realistic. I will also be using Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire for my basis on where and what pokemon can be found, since my story is currently set in Hoenn. I have not watched much of the anime so don't expect to see Ash at all, Brock or Misty for the time being seeing as they are the gym leaders of their respective gyms in the games. 

Probably the biggest changes I will make to pokemon in general is that their nature won't affect them at all. I simply don't think I'm a talented enough writer to properly portray the attitude each nature would bring about. The other change I will be making is to their abilities. I've read other people right about Charizard activating Blaze to increase his fire power, in game it happens when the pokemon falls below 30%. I kind of like the idea of a pokemon having mastered itself enough to use the ability whenever it wants. Some abilities will just always be active, like Chlorophyll. Others like Blaze, Torrent, and Overgrowth will be usable albeit with the side affect of using double the energy. So if a Charizard uses 1 pp of Flamethrower normally, than when Blaze is active it'll use 2 pp or more, balance is important so I'll have to decide this as I go. 

Another change I will be making is pokemon that need to be traded to evolve, like Gengar. I simply find this to be unrealistic otherwise there couldn't be Gengar in the wild. As such I will set a 'level' limit for them to evolve. For example, Ghastly evolves into Haunter at level 25, so to evolve into Gengar the Haunter would need to be level 50, this however will depend on several factors and may or may not come into play in the story (although I think it will because there is one pokemon I am planning on the MC to have that needs to trade to evolve). 

About battles. If you've read the published chapters already then you'll have noticed that I have a trainer start the battle by giving them the privilege of ordering the first command. This is simply to make it easier to read and may seem turn based because what a battle is, is two trainers responding to the other trainer's orders, by keeping it like this it becomes easier to write and/or read in my opinion. However, pokemon battles are NOT turn based in this story and as the MC progresses you will notice more and more trainers not waiting for their opponent to give commands. For now, the MC is just a beginner trainer and everyone he has fought so far have been beginner trainers as well. I would expect the battles to change and become for fierce the more badges he gets, as a way to show his progress.

The 6 pokemon on Isaac's (the main character) team have all been randomly selected using a random pokemon generator. However, 2 of them had to be rerolled because they simply can't be found in OR/AS and I didn't feel like writing in some trade or something just to get them. I did keep their typing though.

Finally, for now, they will be no levels in the story, however I will essentially be keeping track of them to estimate when a decent time to evolve or learn a new attack is. 

If I can think of anything else to add here I will update this chapter in the future. Feel free to let me know in comments if you think I'm making a Pokemon to during too fast or something, or if you disagree with a change I made. I'm happy to take anything said into consideration, but keep in mind this is my story and whether I do actually make any changes or not will depend on whether I agree with you or not.

I may or may not add another Auxiliary Chapter in the future to let you guys (and girls) keep track of badges, and the pokemon team (this will be limited to who is on the team at the moment, their moves, and their abilities). Let me know if you think I should!

Isaac has always loved pokemon, he has gone to and graduated from Trainer's School, worked with his mother to help raise and train her pokemon, and spent an inordinate amount of time watching documentaries on battling, breeding, research, and more. Finally old enough to start his journey he gets rejected by Professor Birch. This is the story of a trainer that is denied the chance to start with what are commonly known as starter pokemon, read as he starts with a common pokemon and grows to be the best. Unfortunately, for those he surpasses, Isaac has never cared about being the best. The gym badges aren't a goal, they are a test to make sure he is training his pokemon well enough. The elite four isn't a test of his pokemon, but himself to make sure he is doing the best he can for his pokemon. Becoming champion? Why should he care about that, it just means he has properly raised his pokemon and learned what he could on his journey.

I wanted to reply to some comments that I felt had a concern for the storyline and I appreciate that.
Firstly, Ash got Arceus in elephant form. Yes it did but it's a weak baby Arceus and it's not getting the same power as Arceus anytime soon. Even till Ash does or does not become a champion. It will have a powerful skillset but it'll take a long time to develop, atleast not until Battle Frontier. 

Secondly, legacy crystals are too much of a power given to Ash. Yes they are a bit OP but the purpose is to give direction to the development of skill sets of different Pokemon. As I've said before it's completely based on anime only and not any of the games so I can tweak the traditional skill set. As for anime cross-over moves, it's just a media for strengthening the moves available and Ash will have to give explanations and training for any of those moves to work out. They are like mega-evolution stones, you get the power but have to work for it. There's no free lunch. The legacy crystals have actually increased the workload as explanations for the Pokemon receiving them would be in order. If I had coupled with the time chamber, it may have been an issue though. But as it stands right now I want to make the Pokemon powerful, but not like crazy bullshit powerful. 

Now for some of my personal queries. As you've seen the Growlithe, I plan to introduce a new type, the wind type and introduce an eevee evolution for it. Legacy crystals were planned to introduce this element as a strong one. I had planned a name for the eevolution "Skyreon".
Also I plan to introduce a ghost type eevolution and I'm still confused on the name to be given to it. So I'm up for suggestions regarding the name of Ghost-type eevolution. 
Also if anyone has other eevolutions in mind, please put forward your ideas alongwith the names for those eevolutions and I wish to accomodate those, not early on, but later through the course of the story.

An anime fan who watches anime for fun gets a chance to reincarnate as Ash Ketchum in Pokemon world with a few wishes ( with a little tweaks). Watch as he tries to accomplish the dream he shares with the original Ash- to be the greatest Trainer.

Viridian forest

Today our protagonist was walking through the forest. Pikachu and pidgey learned iron tail and steel wing respective, will be working on mastering them. Right now I was instructing pikachu and magikcarp how to tackle properly. Then for one second I stopped and turned around to catch a sword with my two finger. Ahh it's the samurai. Hmm That's why I was sensing someone coming at me with the intention to attack but not hurt.

"H.hhow did you catch my sword?""cause it is made of styrofoam you moron" and I broke in two with my bare hands. Imagine how epic I felt catching a sword with two angteen years of training and it turns out to be made of styrofoam. Ahh the disappointment is immeasurable.

"That doesn't matter, I challenge you to a poke-""yeah sure, why not pikachu your up""such disrespect, go my pinsir and crush them", the pinsir was a disappointment I could see that it's armor was not polished, it did not look tough or even rigid. It's horns were dull and polished like a trophy.

pinsir attacked first with a charge. I first removed the extra gravity and then ordered" run around it, quick tackle" pikachu easily dodged pinsirs claws and ran faster and faster till his speed would hit increase and then hit the pinsir. The pinsir was sent flying." Oi sword boy have you even trained that thing or is it just a trophy. It's claws are dull and it is not properly fed". No matter ash won this match, this kids a moron.

(Btw quick tackle is quick attack plus tackle)

"Wait I still have one more pokemon" oh god it's the metapod isn't it? Sigh"sure"."let's Go metapod". Like the pinsir the metapod was smaller than normal, it did no have a sine and its armor look much more compressible than even the wild ones.

"Magikcarp go and use tackle and jump up and hit it with flail." And like that metapod was out."well see ya later! Bye"

I do not wanna be near him when the beedrill swarm attacks. Judgin by the fact that he did not say anything regarding any other trainers, and how in the anime every trainer he had beaten was mentioned, I'm gonna make an educated guess that I am ahead. Not that it means anything. Th only thing that matters are your happiness and the strength you gained. The speed has nothing to do with ability unless it is a speed run.

Oak was very pleased with the talking meowth and mom was happy to see me be so free. They both laughed when I told them about the guy with a styrofoam sword. I also told oak about how the egg hatched and I got a "gibble". This dude was a monster, he ate like a snorlax and had so much potential it was crazy, but unlike snorlax he absolutely loved fighting. His moves were tackle, dragon claw, thrash and sand attack.

Guess which ones were egg moves? Yeah, I know as well, currently it's body was too weak to perform any of the egg moves. That is why he is racing the local population of sandshrew underground. I asked the gibble how it wanted to become when it grew up. It replied with a speeding, tank with high attack. In the games this might not be possible, but in reality the only limits that exist are the ones which can be broken.

Speaking of I was going for certain builds for my pokemon. I made sure to train their weaknesses as well, so they are not unbalanced

He was also the most enthusiastic pokemon in our little group. See in a baby pokemon working so hard lot a fire up under my pokemon asses and I realized that I have a total of 6 pokemon. Magikcarp, pikachu, pidgey, gibble, riolu and meowth. Good thing that I had 9 slots instead of the six, thanks to the junior professor status I had obtained. My current aim was to get the abandoned charmander and have Damien Arrested.

I finally saw a city, it looked like the city was carved out of stone. It didn't really look inviting but it wasn't menacing either. Hell steel is more powerful from a durability standpoint. But it did have a weird, quirky charm of its own. The pokemon center stood out like a sore thumb. The iconic building was made red for it to be visible and easy to spot.

It was a pretty crowded street, from here I could see a large park. I believe that's where flint is, but first I gotta beat Brock. I had no complaints for Brock other than the fact that he was a bit too passive and let misty hit him around. He was also the most sensible and the oldest one.

The gym was pretty grand but first I need some rest. Aura: heal consumes energy, so even if I have no injuries, I am dead tired. I am also thinking about failsafe incase Brock is prepared for steel type moves. I am gonna challenge him day after tomorrow.

"Today we are gonna relax and take the day off." They were still very young and still needed social interactions to develop. I toured the entire town and saw the museum. The games made the museum seem much much smaller than it actually was. It was a few floors. I stocked up on food supplies. Mom and me talked a bit. I transferred meowth to oak for research purposes. All in all it was a nice break from sleeping on the floor and eating the same food again and again.

Now for my strategy, I am gonna go with pikachu first, then if needed pidgey.
