2 months went by and a lot of things had changed. Gwen went back to New York since she was a teacher. Apparently it was summer break, which is why she was able to come to Undertown. Natasha and Kevin joined the Plumbers. Kevin also decided to join the colosseum. Of course, he never played the life and death rounds.

Ben stayed at home, one because he already had a job, and two just because. When he wasn't working on clients' vehicles he was working out or making a background story for Natasha and Kevin.

Although, they had become plumbers they wanted to go back up and see how everything had changed. Even though, at the school they had a bunch of resources, it was always in books, they never had any internet.

Anyways, now that Ben was getting sleep and eating proper, he looked way healthier. Now he no longer has any dark circles under his eyes, instead the emerald green of his eyes were vibrant.

He was now muscular, maybe even more so than Captain America. He also opened up a consultation business. People could come to him for any troubles they were having, whether it was the plumbers who needed help on a case, or a couple who was having marriage problems. He was only open in the weekends though.

One day, when Ben was working in the garage, he heard someone say, "Is this where there Peacekeeper lives?". "I'm sorry, but my consultation services are only open on the weekends.", Ben said. 

He got out from under the car and when he saw who was talking he was surprised. "Loki? How have you been buddy?", he asked. Ben word his hands and shook Loki's hand. "Not good, can I talk to you?", Loki asked Ben. "Of course, give me one second. Go upstairs and I'll be right there." Ben said to him.

When Ben got upstairs, he saw Loki sitting on the sofa. He changed his clothes real quick and asked Loki if he wanted a drink. "Anything is fine.", he said. Ben got him some Sprite.

Ben sat down on the sofa, handed Loki his drink, and they started talking. Apparently, he found out that he was actually a Frost Giant which led to an argument with his father. 

"He wanted to use me as a tool. Can you believe that? All these years of wondering why he loved Thor more and now I find out it's because I'm a monster.", Loki said. "Let me show you something." Ben said to him.

Ben went to the kitchen, and Loki followed. Ben got out a white and a brown egg. He got out a pan and cracked the eggs, letting them fall into the pan and start frying. Then Ben explained to Loki.

"Your no monster Loki. You looking different didn't mean anything. Just like the eggs, although the shells were different, the insides were there same. Just like you, even if your a Frost Giant, your still my friend, your still Thor's brother, and most importantly your still the son of Frigga." he said. Ben plated the eggs, sprinkled some salt and pepper, and gave it to Loki. "Here you go.", he said.

As Loki was eating he started talking. "I'm not even mad at the others. Thor doesn't know anything. That dunderhead still loves me after everything I've done to him. He said he wanted me to be the best man at his wedding. I asked him why, and he said because I'm his brother. Can you believe that, after everything I've done to him, he still thinks I'm his brother.", he said in between mouthfuls.

Just as he was about to continue, the door opened and in came Kevin and Natasha. "Well talk about it later.", Ben told Loki. "No, Thank you, talking to you helped.", Loki said back.

"This is my good friend Loki.", Ben told Kevin and Natasha. They were surprised, " As in the norse god of fire and mischief?", Kevin asked. "Yeah, he's gonna be staying with us for a while.", Ben said.

The group started talking. At first it was a bit awkward for Loki, but after a while, he became another friend of Kevin and Natasha. Since Ben was planning to take Natasha and Kevin to New York anyways, he decided to make an identity for Loki as well.

A few months passed and finally it was time to go. Ben had finished creating background stories for Natasha, Kevin, and Loki. On top of that, Natasha got a mission from the plumbers join SHIELD as their contact in between. Apparently, SHIELD's head is aware of the Plumbers, but he is the only one. Their previous contact had died a week ago due to old age.

So Ben packed everything up and took the group above undertown. They arrived in an alley way. They got out of the alley way and saw the night sky for the first time in a very long time. For Loki it was his first time.

This fanfic is a mixed world of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, SUPERJAIL!, Bunnicula, Johnny Bravo, Scooby-Doo, Dexter's Laboratory, Wacky Races, Samurai Jack, Ed Edd n Eddy, The Secret Saturdays, Ben 10, Villainous & Codename: Kids Next Door while mixing with cosmic horrors works like H.P. Lovecraft, Steven King, SCP Foundation, and etc..

I will try to mix them all together to the best of my abilities, I'm sorry if I let down your expectations in advance.

-The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy: The story will mostly be based in Endsville and it's characters.

-SUPERJAIL!: An underground jail run by a Willy Wonka look alike warden name Warden who runs his jail like how Willy Wonka runs his factory but more chaotic, inhumane, and gruesome. Most prisoners of SuperJail are the worst of the worst or the unluckiest of the unlucky, it's unknown how someone ends up in SuperJail and no one asks.

-Bunnicula: I just want a vampire bunny somewhere in the world.

-Johnny Bravo: I'm making Johnny Bravo a famous Elvis impersonator that lives a town over and because this add-in will allow me to add in the occasional talking animals that act and live like humans that they even marry humans and this will allow the world to be filled with "foxy mommas".

-Scooby-Doo: The Scooby gang is now a group of tv paranormal investigators who keep on running into people who act as ghosts and the like for whatever reason and unmask them. They do sometimes actually run into the paranormal but not that offend. Fred and Daphne are the hosts of the show and Velma is the on-site scientific skeptic as for Shaggy & Scooby they are the cameraman and his therapeutic talking dog.

-Dexter's Laboratory: Dexter in this world doesn't hide his abnormally high IQ and sells his inventions to the highest bidder. He runs a company called Dexter's Laboratory that's in a heated competition with Dark's Laboratory.

-Wacky Races: Petty much an underground NASCAR event called W.A.C.K.Y. Race that happens once a year and is considered the most dangerous race in the world with an 89% mortality rate, only the most reckless and truly skilled drivers can survive this race. W.A.C.K.Y. Race stand for Wild Automotive Chaotic Knockdown Yearly Race.

-Samurai Jack: Aku is in the east causing mayhem and is slowly marching his forces to take over the world but is facing opposition making his march to world domination extremely slow at this point in time. Jack is still in the future looking for a way back.

-Ed Edd n Eddy: I'm moving their older version to Endsville and having them run shady businesses in the background.

-The Secret Saturdays: It just made sense to add them to the mix with all the wired stuff running around the world. The Saturday couple are field op agents working for a secretive group called SCP Foundation.

-Ben 10: Billy and Mandy, SUPERJAIL!, Samurai Jack, and Codename: Kids Next Door all have aliens so adding some more wouldn't hurt. Also, it makes the Plumbers on earth one of the main fighting force that confronts Aku, who I have to remind you is a simi-immortal alien that descended on the world in its infancy, not a demon despite how he looks like making him a Plumbers problem as they don't want him to expand his influence then need be.

-Villainous: Black Hat is the overarching antagonist of Cartoon Network so he somehow found a way into the fanfic. All Hail, Black Hat!!!

-Codename: Kids Next Door: Like in the cartoon, they are a group of kids who formed a secret organization meant to fight evil adults but they will also fight evil aliens, supernatural beings, and other kids who pose a threat to kid kind.

Notes:
-Ghost and the like are leftover mental energy given from and it's the grim riper job to collect that excess mental energy before it from into a specter and if required to bring back said specters to the underworld. The excess mental energy is used as fuel and food in the underworld.

-The Secret Scientists from The Secret Saturdays is a division under the control of the SCP Foundation made of field op researchers under the direct supervision of one of the O5 operatives. It's unknown which O5 they work for and it's unknown if it's only one O5 is commanding them.

-Most freed SuperJail prisoners end up as D class personal in the SCP Foundation when "released".

-It's believed that Warden is a powerful high-level demon probably a Duke Of Hell in most likelihood, another group say he's an augmented human who reached a level of augmented that he's nearing godhood as when he tells about his backstory he talks like he was a normal human but that all could be a lie, others say he's an old one in disguise and finally, some say he's something else completely but it's unknown if any of the above claims are true or falses.
-Warden is known to have a friendship and a rivalry with Dr. Wondertainment. Some believe that Warden is Dr. Wondertainment and vice versa but this has not been proven.
-SuperJail is also known to work with many secret organizations in many different ways.

-The SCP Foundation was a branch of the Plumbers on earth that broke off for unknown reasons and works in the shadows to protect humanity.
-Despite separating the SCP Foundation keeps an applicable relationship with the Plumbers and work like sister organizations on earth.

-Demons of the world are actually the offspring of the old one's children who somehow delivered free will giving them the ability to reset the calling of their progenitors and have developed on their own.

-Black Hat is Nyarlathotep in one of his many forms most significantly the 'Black Man' of the witch-cult from H.P. Lovecraft "The Dreams in the Witch House" (1933).
-Kur is a great old one.
-Him is a great one.
-Nergal is a weakened great one that once was held as a god on earth in the ancient past but now is in an injured state thanks to the fights against Aku when Aku matches into his territory on earth and other great ones leading to his current state.
-Aku is a fragment of a powerful outer god that was sent to earth for unknown reasons.

-Wacky Races despite being an illegal even it somehow it randomly happens somewhere around the world with over 70 drivers attending every year and can't be stopped until someone wins. If anyone tries to stop the event is found they will be forced to join, made to give up on any plans to stopped the event, or mysteriously go MIA.

-It's unknown if the talking animals of this world are science experiments gone wrong or demons. 

-Billy's cat Milkshake might be a demon as there is no such thing as a natural pink hair cat. Milkshake is also a known distant relative of the Pink Panther.

- The Kids Next Door is one of the training program and a branch organization of the Plumbers to find future Plumbers candidates on earth. The SCP Foundation is also known to recruit members of Kids Next Door when they aren't deemed Plumber material but are still deemed good enough to join them. If a kid doesn't join either group or been shown unable to continue in the program they are mindwipe and given flaws memories to live normally without being able to recall their wiped memories.
-Kids who go missing on missions must be conformed dead, compromise or MIA then marked compromise if missing for too long as secret organizations are known to take kids from the program for numerous reasons.

-The underworld is an accessible separated plain of experience that can be travel back and forth between many different plains. The underworld is also separated into two sections known as Hell and Border. Hell is used to extract the mental energy from specters and where the underworld energy plants are located. The border is where we usually where Billy and Mandy go in the show.
-There will also be heaven that is an unaccessible separated plain of experience that only allows kind and neutral (I use the two terms loosely) "gods" to live in or slumber as they pleased.

A Cartoon Network fanfic that you didn't even know you wanted!

Let's follow our mc, a mad scientist, who was somehow reincarnated in The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy as Billy's, as one of the original three main characters he's not so lovable fool but a crazy fool that dreams of the impossible.

Now let's see him try to figure out the secrets of his new world along with a bossy and rude blond hair girl, and the all-powerful grim reaper as their best friend who for some odd reason speaks in a Jamaican accent but in all actuality is pretty much their personal butler.

(Grandpa max trying to defeat vilgax backstory is being told to the three kids.)
"I thought I destroyed vilgax back then, that is until now. Back then I was just an ordinary man, doing my job as I normally did." Gwen suspicion and curiosity gets the best of her and she asks "Just what kind of job exactly was it that you did?" "I was working at a secret organization called 'The Plumbers' who were sworn to stop anything extrordinary, extraterrestrial, things that are out of this world. However due to vilgaxes so called 'defeat' there wasn't enogh serious dangers/threats in order to keep the plumbers active/in service on earth."

A Ben 10 fan fiction following the author's life if he lived in one of the Ben 10 worlds and got the Omnitrix somehow, he would be at least slightly smarter then Ben...okay maybe not who knows, he will make this up as he goes on for now, but it will probably have legit plots and stuff as well.

Looking at the wide selection of jobs that I could choose from I decided to see if any of these are worth choosing.

I don't really want to stand out too much at the beginning so jobs that will draw too much attention like Hero or OtherWorlder is a no go, Unique jobs are going to have to be a no go as well. Maybe something Basic? Apprentice Mage sounds like a good start, I can use a sword and maybe go for magic swordsman as a third class later on as well. I have my entire life to be in this world so maybe I should get multiple classes.
'I choose Apprentice Mage as my second job.' I think while holding my hand over the orb.

And with the system notification, I begin to feel the mana around me and in the surroundings as the orb began to brighten and glow until it eventually died down and displayed the job that I chose.
"Apprentice Magician, that's a wonderful job. It's harder when you're a low level but once you learn some magic you can become a deciding factor in a fight." The receptionist says as she finishes up my form for me and begins to fill out my adventurer's card.
"How does the ranking system work in the adventurer's guild? What about quests?" I ask while she fills out my card.
"We have a ranking system from G-rank to A-rank, there's a special rank for those who have outstanding results called S-rank but there are only a couple of those these days. The ranking is shown on the back of the guild card so you can check it out later. At the start, you're only allowed to accept random quests like picking herbs but if you prove your ability through a test then you can immediately be promoted to an F-Rank adventurer." The receptionist explains as she points towards the back of the guild card while handing it to me.
"Where can I go to prove my ability?" I say while taking the guild card and putting it in my pocket.
"The earliest we have a test scheduled for is tomorrow at noon." The receptionist says while looking at the clock hanging on the wall.
"Alright, I also need to get some money for the entrance fee as well, can I turn in parts of the monsters I hunted?" I ask while eyeing my inventory with slime cores and goblin carcasses.
"Yes, we exchange monster parts for money. Which monster do you wish to turn in?"
"I have some goblins and a couple of slime cores." I say while getting ready to take them out of my inventory acting like I kept them in my pocket.
"We can take the slime cores for 7 copper coins each and goblin ears sell for 3 copper coins each."
After giving her the slime cores and the goblin ears I receive the 40 copper coins and give 3 to the guard since I needed to pay the entrance fee.
"And with this, I'll be on my way. See you around." He says sighing that he has to go back to work so soon.
"Is there an inn around here that I can get a good sleep in." I ask before I head out of the guild.
The receptionist grabs a piece of paper from under the counter and hands it to me. "This is a guide for newbies, there's the inn that the guild partners with. You will need to sign up for the beginner's program if you want to stay there though."
"I'll sign up then, how long will it take?" I ask since this might take my leveling time.
"There are two versions you can take, the short version which lasts 3 days or the long version which lasts 2 weeks." The receptionist says while looking at me for my answer.
It would probably be a good idea to learn from the natives here.
"Sure, can I sign up for the three-day version?" I ask the receptionist as she begins bringing out the papers required.
"Sign here and It'll begin tomorrow at 2pm." She says as she hands me a pen to sign.
After signing the paper I follow the paper's directions I walk through the less crowded streets as I reach the inn that's partnered with the guild.
Upon walking in one of the waitresses talk to me, "Guild Card"
"Here" I say handing here my guild card.
After reading the brand new guild card she rights down the required information and hands the card back to me.
"It'll be 10 copper coins a night, that includes all meals and a shower every day." She says.
"I'll stay for 3 nights then." I say while handing her 30 copper coins.
"Here's your room key, your room is down the hall to the left." She says as she points in the direction of my room.
As I take the key and find my room I sit down on the bed after getting undressed and look through my inventory. I have 7 copper coins left from all of today's expenses, I have the job starter pack from choosing my second class, I still have the random cheat skill as well.
'Use the Random Cheat Ticket please' I say to the system as I watch the Random Cheat Skill Ticket disappear from my inventory.

'Nice, now I don't have to worry about being low on mana. I can also use magic without restraint. Can I open the job starter pack ' I ask the system while I watch it disappear from my inventory as well.

'Nice I got a skill and a wand. It's a shame that I didn't get a starter pack for my "Cheater" Job'
While laying in the bed I look over my status and what I have gained today until eventually the stress caught up with me and I fell asleep.

Bell is a high school student who one day finds that he can cheat at almost anything he could find, a way to cheat would just pop into his head. "Orheñia is a special world, it's working systematically unlike the other worlds. I can't transfer your whole force to another world because I don't have enough power to do so, I can only just make you reborn as a baby but your power will be sealed because the new body can't take that force..."

"Or I can make one for you in the Orheñia because the logic doesn't apply there, It's just the status is artificially created...." The apprentice man head moves downward, looking really guilty, "It's the best I can do.... sorry."

"What about the true power of my own? what will happen to my real status?" Liberaine got really curious.

"It will maintain in your soul. If you start another cycle of life again and die in natural circumstance. You will meet a true god that has the power to give you a body appropriate of the power of your soul..." the apprentice man honestly answered.

Liberaine began to think, if that is the case then Isn't it good. I can play awhile in that Orheñia World and when I normally die, then I can start my life again with my power. 

"Okay." Let's just think of it as a vacation.

The apprentice man eye's spark and look excitedly at her. Liberaine smiled, " I want my race as an elf, and..." Liberaine looks at him and said, "add another zero in my stats." 

The apprentice man gave a start, "Wha-"

Liberaine stomps her feet, close her eye and snort, "Hmmp. Someone's take my innocent life... I wonder if I can talk to someone here." 

"okay.. okay " The apprentice man can only nod.

"And add special abilities, you can just go on and choose... I believe you will give me a good set of abilities." She opened her eyes and look at him. "Hmmm?" She demanded.

"Sure.. sure" The apprentice man then again can only nod. He feels that this woman takes advantage of him, but he can't even complain.

After waiting for a while.

The new silver card soon arrives. The apprentice man gives it to her.

Liberain is not being choosy at all, she just stared at the three abilities and look at the man in front of her and thinks that this guy is really simple. Liberaine can guess what kind of ability is this just by looking.

She smiles, "I'm fine with it."

'Look's like I'm going to enjoy this, hehehe I'm too strong HAHAHAHAHA' 

Orheñia waits for me.

Liberaine, In other people eyes, thinks that a woman has a dozen child because she works like a horse, having a different job a day with a different profession. 

Accountant, Doctor, Detective, Policewoman, etc.

People really wonder how did she have great achievements in a young age and if she ever sleeps.

But the truth is... she's a witch... a 590-year-old witch that lives in a skin of 25 years old, she even have a big company that she owns and that so-called 'working like a horse' is just her playing her boredome and satiate her curiosity of knowledge. 

She even masters the skill of the ancient witches and improvises it with her ability.

In the eyes of others, she's a superwoman that can do all the things that are impossible. 

she too thinks of that...
she even thinks every day that she is an 'immortal'... 

But...

when she wakes up with a white ceiling in front of her eyes, she wonders what happen.
She sits and sees a man in white kneeling in the ground kowtowing before her and wonder who and why.

While Liberaine is wondering in her own. The man speaks in shivering voice " you... died "

The dishevelled pair curiously glanced at the room around them, trying to figure out what exactly the shocked looks were all about. They looked at themselves and aside from all the wounds on them and their ruined clothing, they found nothing that could be worthy of so much attention, thus, they returned their confused glances towards the crowd.

"Welcome back Ventus and Luna" Richard stood out from the crowd and walked towards them as he spoke. "Quite a splendid performance you did back there" he chuckled, "not only did you manage to complete the mission, even if you made a deal, in the end, to allow only one of you to complete it, but you also managed to find the hidden treasure that was the soul pearl in a spectacular fashion by basically snatching it from the claws, fangs, jaws and pincers from hundreds of adult rank beasts and then coming out alive"

Then Richard looked straight at Ventus this time.

"And you Ventus, you rascal!" he laughed heartily, "You managed to gain enlightenment into the wind element and also managed to acquire a true wind seal, you truly know how to give people good surprises!" he grabbed the boy's shoulders a grinned widely "As your master I'm very proud of your achievements today, and I'm especially proud of the way you employed the terra control art I imparted onto you to cause chaos on the battlefield. Even if you didn't pass today, you can pass the next time, I'm sure it won't be too late by then and considering your staggering talent, it won't be an issue at all to become an official apprentice and catch up with these guys"

"If it serves of any consolation, in your place, I too would have chosen to keep the soul pearl"

He then looked solemnly at him and smiled lightly, his eyes filled with tender care for the young man before him.

"I'm sure your father in the heavens would be proud if he saw you today"

Richard's words had stunned Ventus leaving him staring onto the ground for a long time. First, there were the words about his father and Richard as his master was proud of him, these words were something simple, but somehow, gaining recognition, especially of someone he respected, was something that gave him a great amount of joy as warmth blossomed in his heart. At this moment he swore to himself that if he was ever able to repay the grace this master of his had granted him as well as all the care, he would definitely do so!

 After those thoughts flew past his head, came the most immediate ones. How exactly did he know to such a detail the events that transpired in the hazard dimension? Could they perhaps be able to watch the events inside the dimensions from the outside? The thoughts ran through his mind and unable to keep them in, he immediately questioned and soon found out that, as he had suspected, they were indeed able to watch the events inside the dimensions.

The oval portals, when not used as portals, served as monitoring mirrors that could show and would serve as a direct emergency gateway that would pull the contestants out of the dimension should they be facing a near-death situation in which they couldn't pull themselves out of. Apparently, of the ten contestants, five of them had to be pulled out using the emergency feature since they were going to die. Of course, since those contestants were pulled out, they were immediately disqualified and as of the moment he was explained this, the five of them were sent away. 

When asked about the commotion of the disappearing desert and how he was involved with that, Ventus avoided the question and just said that when he was having the enlightenment his senses were shut out, and as such, he had no idea what had happened, apparently, they didn't see him find the golden core nor refine it. And when asked about the golden sand, his reply was that he kept some of it concealed in his clothes at all times should he need it considering how useful it was, and that indeed, in the end, it proved immensely useful in that death or life situation. 

He felt somewhat guilty of lying about this, but showing his god-tier secrets in a place like this could prove to be troublesome in the early future, so he decided to just hide the existence of the golden ancient dragon Ragnar.

Ventus was disqualified as well quickly following his master as they exited the tower together. Although the magus had a grandmaster rank, even he couldn't defy nor bend the rules of the tower system, so they had no choice but to go out and try next month.

And to no one's surprise, a month later Ventus passed with flying colors. The thing was that the previous month the trials were extra difficult because Richard had actually adjusted the test a bit so that the hazard lands chosen were the ones meant for the junior magus level, not the apprentice rank. After finding out about this he confronted Richard with it, only to have him say that if he allowed the boy to actually face the correct difficulty setting for him, He wouldn't grow at all and would easily trample the other contestants.

Ventus could only sigh and agree as the benefits he got from this were immense.

After officially becoming an apprentice rank magus Ventus received a set of clothing, a spatial sack to carry his things and also and a blank crystal ID card with his general information that also worked in a similar way to the avatar stone he had used previously to measure his affinities, talent and potential.

The moment he touched the ID card he felt an energy invade his body, run a cycle through it and return to the card. The card flashed for a bit and displayed a holographic loading bar with the words "Updating User Information" displayed. At that moment Ventus got immensely worried, he knew that the avatar stone could analyze his bloodline, and if it detected the Absolute Wind Bloodline it would cause him endless trouble, but his worries were for nought as the wind avatar contacted him and explained that he had hidden the bloodline and that a measly avatar card could not surpass his abilities. Ventus sighed lightly as he held the card with one hand whilst facepalming with the other, a few minutes later the card displayed his holographic information as such:

Up in the sky on a giant bird's back, a Level-2 Sorcerer was leading eight Sorcerers-Apprentices toward the Hydra Wrath Academy whilst flying at high speed, their shadows just fleeting images on the ground.

One of the Sorcerer-Apprentices behind whispered, "Jilgus, you've been in combat with the Hydra Wrath Academy before. It's almost time for the Holy Tower Qualification Battle, are there any Sorcerer-Apprentices that are noteworthy on their side?"

After the death of Atlas Skull of Shadow Argus Sorcerer Academy seventy years ago, Jilgus was known as one of the three most powerful Sorcerer-Apprentices among the Shadow Argus Academy, also known as 'The Explosive Maniac'.

Wearing a pair of black toad-eye-like sunglasses, Jilgus always seemed to have a grin on his round face that revealed a missing incisor and a black goatee that hung from his chin which gave him a convoluted style.

During the Academy War, the Sorcerer-Apprentices of the academies would decide the outcome of the battle within the assigned cities. The outskirts of the cities were under the control of the official Sorcerers and it was exceedingly dangerous. The increased friction between both academies in the life-and-death battles allowed both academies to have a vague understanding of their opponent's powers.

"Haha, don't underestimate the Hydra Wrath Sorcerers, throughout these years there has been word of some insolent, elite Sorcerer-Apprentices that have popped up over there. Besides Star's Light, Storm's Roar, Demon Skull, there's already been a bunch that have stuck out to be famous elite Sorcerer-Apprentices in the past battles. In the last Academy War, I've encountered plenty of rather tricky guys, all of them have originated from the Hydra Wrath Academy…"

Jilgus popped a flaming red bead out from his thumb before catching it again.

"From what I've heard, there came along an exceptional teacher in that academy with a strong grasp of sorcery knowledge. That's why there's been so many pain-in-the-ass, trump card Sorcerer-Apprentices being churned out from there. The overwhelming majority of Hydra Wrath seems to be below average though, so I assume that this tutor only teaches the most elite Sorcerer-Apprentices."

Beside Jilgus, a Sorceress-Apprentice nodded her head when she recalled something.

"Thirty years ago, I exchanged blows with Storm's Roar and found him outrageously strong. Oriana, Zeppelin and I barely escaped. However, during the last Academy War, I've heard of this renowned and powerful Sorcerer-Apprentice. He overwhelmed the long-time famous Sorcerer-Apprentices, and he wants to become the best by sweeping away the rest of the competition during the Holy Tower Qualification Battle.

Meiya, Orianna and Zeppelin barely managed to escape Storm's Roar with their powers combined…

Just how strong was this guy?!

The Hydra Wrath Sorcerer Academy managed to produce an even more terrifying monster that had defeated Star's Light, Storm's Roar and Demon Skull as well as an unknown number of Sorcerer-Apprentices in terms of power. The thought of that justified the Sorceress-Apprentice's fear.

To be on a mission with 'The Explosive Maniac', Jilgus, indicated that the Sorcerer-Apprentices on the giant bird were among the Shadow Argus Academy's elites, and they were expected to qualify in becoming a Demon-Hunter in the Holy Tower Qualification Battle.

"The Star of Hydra Wrath! I've heard about this person from a Hydra Wrath Sorcerer-Apprentice I killed ten years ago. The Star of Hydra Wrath who's claimed to be the legendary Sorcerer-Apprentice amongst all the elite Sorcerer-Apprentices. Generally, it would take one hundred years for a Sorcerer Academy to produce such a powerful Sorcerer-Apprentice, and the Sorcerer-Apprentice in Shadow Argus Academy that was mostly likely to grow to that level, Atlas Skull, was killed by an official Sorcerer of Hydra Wrath seventy years ago." 

The furthest Sorcerer-Apprentice from the group of eight murmured worriedly, from his tone everyone could hear him imposing his worries. The Star of Hydra Wrath was a Sorcerer-Apprentice that truly existed, and perhaps he was the Hydra Wrath's ultimate trump card among their trump card Sorcerer-Apprentices!

Several Sorcerer-Apprentices began to whisper among themselves, the Level-2 Sorcerer that was at the very front suddenly sighed, "Ugh… Compared to what you described about these Sorcerer-Apprentices, it seems like the Hydra Wrath mentor is the one who is the true nightmare," causing the Sorcerer-Apprentices to glance at one another, not knowing what to say.

The recognition of Sorcerer-Apprentices generally only lingered among Sorcerer-Apprentices, official Sorcerers were a subject matter that they simply could not care about. Even if they did care, it was futile.

Through their spies, the Shadow Argus Academy had determined that the Sorcerer who had attacked the Sorcerer Tower before was none other than the Hydra Wrath's concealment Sorcerer, Grimm!

In order to deal with this concealment Sorcerer, the Shadow Argus Academy had even held a grand sorcerer meeting and the strategic system of the Academy War was changed accordingly.

As it turned out, it was a Demon-Hunter from the Seven-Rings, and an elite among Demon-Hunters. This kind of Sorcerer who specialized in assassination was truly terrifying.

He had brought the Slaughtering Will of the Foreign World into the Academy War of the Sorcerers World!

"Caw caw caw caw, Young Master, I'm blushing from all the praise!"

On the giant bird, as the Level-2 Sorcerer sighed, suddenly there was a loud cackle that erupted from beside him. This shocked both the eight Sorcerer-Apprentices and the Sorcerer who had been hearing nothing else but the flapping of the giant bird's wings.

"Who?!"

The moment the Level-2 Sorcerer opened his mouth, he felt a wave wash over him, followed by pain blossoming from his neck, as something sharp had sliced across it.

His eyes widened and his body reacted before he could even think, activated elemental energy with a 'bzzt' sounded as he transformed into a bolt of lightning before appearing several meters away from the group, narrowly avoiding danger.

Crack!

Grimm had anticipated this, bringing up a black arc discharge to absorb the light around him before pinpointing it toward the chest of the Level-2 Sorcerer. Without a word, the Level-2 Sorcerer was instantly disintegrated.

"Ah! Master…"

"Run…"

The Sorcerer-Apprentices looked over to the mysterious and powerful Sorcerer that just suddenly appeared. No, the mysterious and powerful Sorcerer who had just now been revealed, and all that they felt was terror.

Their leader, Mezlang, who was supposed to direct them on the mission during the Academy War was instantly wiped out without even getting a chance to fight back. Just like that?

"Transmuted magnetic field!"

Under the calm voice, the eight frightened Sorcerer-Apprentices and the soul-slave giant bird found their bodies paralyzed one by one. Their bodies were torn to pieces with a 'poof' sound before the now gruesomely entangled limbs started falling from the sky.

Angor returned to Moshi Street with a small card in his hand. There was the picture of an eclipsed sun on it, while the back had "Astute Alchemy Guild" written in the universal language.
Above the characters was another engraved line of words, which could be felt by stroking it with a hand. Even then, Angor could not understand these letters that seemed to hold a special energy signature.
According to Sunders, the characters were "Abyssal Tongue" used by certain intelligent monsters from Abyss Plane. What Angor was looking at also referred to "Astute Alchemy Guild". This told Angor that the guild members did not care whether outsiders knew about their business with abyssal creatures or the Astute King.
Most wizards respected great strength, which meant they both feared and admired Grand Demons. Revealing their names in broad daylight helped the guild members attract a lot of alchemists who desperately sought for power.
The Moshi Street at night looked ever more prosperous compared to the daytime. Angor saw a piano placed at a fork road, which wasn't there before. An apprentice in a white robe was singing and playing at the same time, and it attracted many bystanders who stopped to enjoy the pleasant music.
Also, Angor saw several runes on the ground that suggested a magic contract. The runes would shine and draw some energy from the audience. It would then fill the energy into some empty crystals placed inside a strange alchemy machine nearby.
It seemed the small concert wasn't free to watch. The contract did not take too much energy from people, but there were a lot of them.
Again, Angor just learned another means by which low-level apprentices earned their income. Even supernaturals could become street performers.
Angor would admit that the performance was good, but he wasn't going to join the concert—nobody knew whether there was some sort of hidden unfair clauses in the contract.
To make sure, he took a small detour and steered away from the crowd.
Soon, he reached a loft that sat outside the main marketing area. According to the card, this should be the homebase of Astute Alchemy Guild.
Instead of heading in, Angor remained outside and observed the building first.
The door was wide open, and there were several Rune Monitors standing guard. Anyone who wanted to enter the building had to provide either an invitation card or an item that was to be further identified.
Angor saw about a hundred people entering in ten minutes, which included both guild members and ordinary apprentices who didn't seem to be alchemists at all. Also, he saw someone he recognized among them.
It was Viking, the apprentice who got left behind by his team and made it out of the purification garden by himself despite losing all four limbs.
It seemed Shan's story was true. Viking now had a pair of transplanted arms. However, Angor couldn't see whether those were really Duon arms since Viking was wearing gloves. 
He didn't have anything on his bottom half. Instead, he was riding on a small vehicle that looked like a windmill.
When the time limit for entrance was approaching, Angor walked to the door.
"Your invitation card, sir," a Rune Monitor said as it floated to Angor.
"So, a trader meeting is being held today?" Angor asked something first.
"Yes, sir. If you don't have an invitation card, you can present an item. We shall examine it and listen to your requirements for the exchange."
Angor nodded. It seemed that those without a card could join this "exchange of items".
He didn't intend to put any of his possessions for sale, so he simply offered the card he received from Lantis.
As soon as he stepped into the building, he saw Lantis coming to him.
"Welcome to our humble meeting place, Mister Padt!" Lantis put a hand on his chest and bowed.
Angor assumed that there was either a way to identify guests or a detection spell to locate their invitation cards because Lantis didn't have any problem recognizing him even though he was wearing a hooded robe.
Lantis saw through Angor's troubled mind and showed him an object shaped like a screen. "This is a transmitter used by guild members. It tells us the arrival of the cardholders. But I tweaked your card just a little so that I can welcome you personally today." Lantis smiled.
"And to what do I owe such honor?"
"Our guild master just returned from Fairy World, and your name is pretty well-known in the entire Midworld." Lantis pointed to a hallway. "This way to the meeting, sir."
"Your guild master is also a citizen here?" Angor asked while walking.
"You can try becoming one of us, by which the guild master will undoubtedly meet you personally, Mister Padt."
Angor saw that Lantis did not answer his question, so he decided to return the courtesy from now on.
"They say Mister Padt joined the path of wizardry for less than two years, and my oh my, a level-3 apprentice already? Such is the great Mister Phantom for you…" 
Along their way, Lantis tried to pry Angor's information by mentioning Sunders' name first. Also, it seemed that Lantis didn't intentionally hide his intentions.
Angor used his good old trick when he didn't want to talk, which was to smile like a good boy.
There was no way Lantis could force Angor to talk. Angor maintained his silent composure until they reached the meeting hall. With a grim expression, Lantis watched as Angor walked into the hall.
The hall was bigger than it appeared from the outside—there were expansion runes drawn on the floor. Several doors leading to private chambers were lined up along the wall, and there was a giant round conference table in the center of the hall, around which about a hundred people had already taken their seats.
Most of them covered their faces just like Angor. Nobody paid much attention to another visitor, which allowed Angor to find a random spot without a problem.
A moment later, Lantis walked inside when all the seats around the table were almost taken.
"It seems that everyone is here. Shall we begin?"
No response. 
"Then let's start since there's no objection. We have many new faces among us this time, and we shall begin with our guild members first."
Again, no one spoke up. Lantis looked around the participants and set his gaze upon a shortie with a pair of really large ears.
"If you would, John Junior?"
"John Junior" fumbled a little and quickly stood up.
"I-I-I want to know something about 'Froststar Bones' used by Reformer apothecaries. When brewing Hakusan Potion and Highlight Potion, we used the exact same materials and reaction formula but with different handling techniques. I want to know why…" 
As he talked about something related to his expertise, John Junior quickly got rid of his initial stress and became confident.
Next, he explained what he could provide in return—some potions or his help for brewing potions.
Then he left the serial number of his transmitter.
Every participant had a transmitter placed in front of them for them to contact the other traders during the meeting. Anyone interested in John Junior's offer could use their transmitters to talk to him later, either in one of the private chambers where the guild could guarantee their safety or somewhere else if they preferred outside the building, which might not be as safe.
Angor saw John Junior waiting for a while but without finding anyone willing to talk.
Next, the others stood up one by one and described their knowledge or items for exchange. If someone's offer had more than one potential "buyers", he or she was free to choose a customer.
There was an apprentice who wished to buy an amphibious vehicle by offering a vial of Redmoon Potion. Together with three participants who wished to negotiate, they went inside a chamber and came back out, satisfied.
This seemed to be a rare case as most of the offers didn't even get an answer.
In Floating Mech City, people could buy anything they liked as long as they had enough money, so most of the people came here looking for knowledge.
And in the wizarding world, everyone considered their knowledge to be extremely precious and would not trade them out easily.
After several more people stood up, a man wearing a stylish black robe stood up and bowed to everyone in a polite nobleman's manner.
"Fair trade! I've gotten my hands on some new sh*t. Not the common garbage you find normally, mind you. Get my transmitter if you want'em! My PERSONAL transmitter, not the junk provided by this freaking guild!"
