Emica Kana is 18 years old. She has always loved writing stories., They were her escape from reality. She always wished that a man would come and save her like they always do in the stories.
Well, she got her wish.
Emica entered a small writing school that was near a river. Her friend had joined her. But, the teacher had an odd vibe around him. Emica became a little scared of him. She especially became scared when the teacher started to pay more attention to her. One day, when she runs from him, she falls into a world of adventure, risk, and abnormalities. 
But, her teacher is what scares her more than this new world. What secrets and schemes did he use to get her here?

Zhao Youyue was no janitor. She just wanted Su Li to take up Master PhD's" Endless Apocalypse "comic. Of course, this was assuming that Su Li was willing and confident, and that Master PhD was willing to give her the part. The offer has to be rock-solid.
Zhao Youyue, of course, was biased toward her "wife," Su Li. She would most definitely throw Su Li into bad waters. That's how you temper a rough rock. She only wanted Su Li to be famous.
Su Li had full faith in Lady Zhao's opinion. She was convinced that Lady Zhao and her were both in the heat of love. Of course, Lady Zhao's word was the final decision. Admittedly, "Endless Apocalypse" had the versatility to adapt to the most radical of plot twists. It had great potential. As long as it sold like hot-cakes, it could be harvested for money and glory.
Su Li's faith in Zhao Youyue's taste only grew stronger. Lady Zhao was perfect in every way. If she had such a lover, why would she need any other man?
Master PhD would honor Lady Zhao's request. She had to. She was more than pleased to pass her work to the top comic-god Su Li, not only because two great minds made great work, but also because she knew of Su Li's magical powers, and her amazing angles. The" The Strongest King " had won a lot of good reviews. In particular, its combat scenes garnered a mountain-load of praise. 
She could almost taste her freedom. With Su Li as the divine scapegoat, she could write as she wanted. She could erase any character that did not make her cut and put the blame on Su Li. What a perfect plan!
Hence, following Zhao Youyue's direction, the Master PhD's pen and Su Li's brush, the three of them reached an agreement. Master PhD would retain full ownership. She was no newbie in this industry, she never gave off full copyrights so easily. Neither was she one of the authors desperate for money, so she read through the papers at leisure. 
As for authors who needed the income to support their living, they would carefully nurse their readers like a bubble in their hands. They would kneel and worship supreme donors like Zhao Youyue. Not only would they write according to these super donor's preferred flavors, they could even throw cameos into their stories just to praise these super donors. There was no place too low for their ego, as long as their pockets were lined.
Master PhD was the type who went all in. She felt that Chu Xuan would be better as a male character. So as it were, Chu Xuan was still a male character, despite her promise to Lady Zhao. 
As she wrote according to her emotions, the more she liked a subject, the better she wrote it. She never doubted her sanity whenever she caused "accidents" in her plots. She wanted to write, and she wanted to write freely. Nobody could stop her!
Master PhD signed the agreement happily. She was very grateful to Lady Zhao, who had helped conjugate this. Hence, she welcomed more suggestions from the Lady. If she could help "Chu Xuan" end up as an icon, that would be splendid!
Zhao Youyue put a demure smile on her face, laughing like a maniac in her heart. She took the guise of a curious child and asked, " Dr. Chen, it seems that several readers were interested in the beauty scientist Zhang Yanwei, as I am. So, you've clearly established her as a villain, but what is her purpose, was this character relevant during your draft, and what would happen to the members of the infinite team?"
When Master PhD heard the question, she smiled mysteriously, saying that nobody is going to believe her answer to that. She absolutely did not see this coming. She did not even entertain the slightest thought of making Zhang Yanwei a key figure of her plot. But when she started writing the name Zhang Yanwei, her hands no longer seemed to be under her control. Somehow, something had drawn her into her own novel, and something mysterious was pushing her in a direction she could not see, down a path of which its end she could not determine. From thereon, she went wild with Zhang Yanwei.
She did not realize that Zhang Yanwei had developed a soul of her own, and that her life experiences were so real, as if she had been living in this world for a full 36-years. Even Master PhD was surprised at how this Zhang Yanwei had amassed her powers as the world's top scientist.
Of course, Master PhD was puzzled. She began to wonder how that inception had even come to be, but soon accepted it as the will of God. The inspiration came, she could not stop it, so she went with the flow. As she allowed the character to act by herself, she polished the rough edges with her pen.
As long as the creators felt the rush, the writing would never be too bulky and harsh. When they finally lean back and survey their work, they would feel a sense of accomplishment like never before. 
"I really look forward to writing it just the way I want, because Lady Zhao, you know, I write things, I don't like to write outlines at all, because I firmly believe that the outline would just constrain me in the end. I write according to how I feel. As I write, words that I never imagined would show up, and my own characters, my own plot twists would end up giving me the greatest surprises. Admittedly, when I wrote about Zhang Yanwei, that blew all other things out of proportion." I never thought that I would produce such a female character," Master PhD said haltingly, as if she was having trouble organizing her thoughts.
Master PhD was the type who allowed her feelings to rule her. Even if Zhao Youyue did not do anything to the novel, she would end up writing twists that she never saw coming. Now that she had the rush in her head to write something different, she accepted her story as it was. She was looking forward to the next wave of creative inspiration, and she had to take advantage of it. It would be a waste not to utilize it.
Zhao Youyue listened to all that Master PhD had to say. Her smile became more sincere than before. This author was a slave to her intuition. All was good!

Yougal Lucas Sinha's grandparents and Nia's grandparents were close friends. The two grandfathers' friendship dated back to their school days in the army school.They both served in the army. Nia's grandfather was only for a few years in the service and soon left the army due to an injury in one of his leg. He enrolled himself in the law school and soon started practicing in the high court. Later on he joined the judicial service and retired as a high court judge. 

Yougal's grandfather, on the other hand joined the business world after he retired as an army Major, after completing the compulsory service of twenty years. He opened one of the most successful restaurant in the city. Later on he expanded his restaurant business and opened one more in the city and one in each of Shillong, Calcutta, Delhi and Mumbai. They were all under the name, 'Parampara', which was Tradition in Hindi. 

Though the two families were very close, Yougal Lucas and Nia never had a chance to meet each other as he studied school in England, civil engineering and management in Harvard. Nia heard a lot about him during the gatherings of the two families and also her own family was quite the fan of that golden boy. But never did she nourish any thoughts about the Glowing Star, as the two grandfathers nick named him. She was not the fangirl type. Drawing colourful imaginary painting about a certain stranger was not her idea of passing time. 

His father who already owned a construction company, expanded their restaurant business to hotels. Their hotels were all in the Metros and in popular tourist destinations like Goa, Ladakh, Manali, Kaza, Rhishikesh, Gangtok. The hotels in the north Indian Himalayan towns organized treks for the interested parties and organizing those activities had made the hotels more popular.

Those adventurous attractions like trekking in the mountains, camping in all the best sites of Leh Ladakh, Manali and Rishikesh, boating in Rishikesh were later addition by Yougal Lucas after he took over the hotel and restaurant business after his parents and grandfather's death. 

When Yougal Lucas took over the business after the tragedy that befell the family, he had to face lots of oppositions from the shareholders, as he was young, and had yet to complete his MBA, though he already was an engineering graduate. But Nia's grandpa was the one who stood by him and showed great faith in the young man. Yougal's family owned forty percent of the total shares. That and the nine percent shares Nia's mom and grandma had, helped him in the hour of his darkness. 

Nia was not interested in any of the achievement of a stranger. Those were the anecdotes filled her with by her own grandfather. He was all praise for the young man who took over a vast hotel empire and a construction company. But as the budding star student of management, Nia too admired the hard work and perseverance of that stranger, but she was more interested in pursuing her own career.

When she had just completed her masters in marketing and finance and applied for PhD, the man's grandmother brought the proposal for marriage and insisted that they should continue the friendship through the union of their grandchildren. She was only twenty one at the time. They wanted her to work at his company instead of doing PhD, so the two could get to know each other. Nia remembered the angry words she threw at her grandparents. 

"Look grandpa, you and my father carried your part of that friendship. My dad lost his life trying to save that man's parents. Now he need not embark on a mission to save me from my unmarried status. Furthermore, I dn't intend to be a decorative wife at his home while my hard earned certificates moulder."

"You don't talk sense. How will it moulder when you'll work for him." Grandpa was irritated. 

"Work for him? I'll decide who I work for? I won't be taking orders from him like a minion."

Nia had to bear with all the lectures that grandparents usually subject their grandchild to for their supposed good but she listened to all that with one ear which went out through the other. Nia asked her grandpa if the man was ready to marry her, a total stranger. According to her grandfather Yougal Lucas Sinha, that was the man's name, was a filial grandchild. 

"Ohh...a Harvard Business school graduate, still filial and ready to marry even a hippo to please a grandma. How filial of him!" 

"Yes, so unlike my dearest granddaughter. She thinks I'm selling her to the pirates." Grandpa faked being hurt, clutching at his chest. 

"Oh shit..."  Only then Nia realized that she had thought out loud. 

"And young lady, dn't you dare to use that kind of words." Grandpa admonished. 

"Come on, Dadu (grandpa), your Glowing Star Yougal must have come back from the States loaded with a  bagful of cussing words." She laughed sticking out her tongue at grandpa and winking at grandma.

Those happy days, all gone now thanks to a man who her grandfather stood by, fighting with the other shareholders, winning over them by pursuation or whatever it took to achieve that. He did not have to marry her, only she wished he did not act like a pathetic loser. If he rejected her when his grandma had asked him, Nia would not have been sad. On the contrary she would have blessed him.

Like those young heroines in Hindi movies, she did not start weaving romantic illusion about a certain Harvard returned handsome stranger, already at the pinnacle of success in the business world. No, Nia did not fall for the man. How could she, when she had exchanged neither a syllable nor a glance with that glowing star of her grandpa? She was no starry eyed creative young woman, writing a fairy tale in her head with a happy ending, about a Prince Charming and her. 

She was no damsel in distress waiting to be rescued, though the society she lived in thought of unmarried women as damsel in distress. She was not the one to weave sweet romantic love scenes when her engagement was finalized with a stranger. Nia wanted the freedom to do what her heart desired; do the PhD, teach, consult business, travel, manage the cafe, spend the weekends at the firm with her mom and grandparents. Maybe later on open a few more art cafes. But one person's single insouciant act made a change and that brought irrevocable changes in her life. 

'Yes,' Nia reminisced with a bitterness that had refused to go away in those more than five years. It had been buried under the silence she embraced about the past. A fury rose up in her like a powerful tornado. 

'I didn't exactly lie to Rhianna. We were to meet on a blind date set up by his grandma. But I was with my cousin Manikornika and his cousin Shakti.' She remembered how the other two girls were teasing her much to her discomfort. Nia wanted to finish this meeting and be done with it

Then Shakti nudged her with her elbow and pointed with her eyes to someone coming their way. Nia looked questioningly at her. "Bhaiya (brother)" Shakti had a wide smile on her face. Nia observed the man as she was at an advantageous position. He would not notice her because of a flowering shrub. He was very handsome, she had to admit that, and tall. Monikarnika whined that she could not see him because of some stupid big shrub. Shakti and Nia smiled at her for calling the shrub stupid. 

The girls' teasing escalated at that point. The man stopped in his track, took out the phone from his pocket and talked with someone. Then before the three pairs of astonished eyes he turned and left in his car. So that was how Nia had met her fiance. There was no introduction, no exchange of a single syllable, because he had to rush back suddenly. He did not bother to inform them or offer an apology.

'Why have I been experiencing a maelstrom of emotions ever since I met the devil at Rhianna's party? His arrival has only helped the bitterness to resurface. I want to block the chance of his second coming into my life.' Looking at the night sky from the balcony, Nia ruminated.

Five years ago Nirvana Sonowal and her family were humiliated without any logical reason by the rich, handsome fiance fixed by her grandparents. Yougal Lucas Sinha was the choice of her family, thrust upon her against her wish.
   
     On the day of the engagement he did not turn up to make it official. From being the center of envy and hidden malice, Nirvana who was better known as Nia, was reduced into a target of rude jokes and ridicule. Nirvana's grandpa suffered a cardiac arrest and died at the hospital. Her mother and grandma could not take the loss and humiliation, and embraced silence.

      In an instant Nirvana, the butterfly like fragile young woman was left alone to cope with disaster and loneliness. The man did not appear at the funeral of her grandpa, nor sent a word of condolence. He did not care to give an explanation for his actions. 


     Nirvana still appeared fragile like a butterfly but underneath that deceptive appearance lurked a woman who was mysterious and dangerous to play with. 
   

     Five years later she met him, the rich, handsome once upon a time her fiance Yougal Lucas Sinha, at the birthday party of her best friend. The only emotion Nia could sense in her was revulsion at the sight of the man and for him she had one description, the evil shadow from the hell who brought Death, gloom and agony to her life. She never wished to cross paths with that piece of bad omen, least of all at Rhianna's party.


     Yougal Lucas Sinha decided to pursue Nia and change her hate into love. Fate worked against Nirvana and his union. 'Maybe I contributed too, to the work of fate.' He lamented. Nirvana was lost to him, this time he was determined to fight for his chance of happiness with Nia.

"Ok," said Paul, "we have classes to teach, so we'll see you at the cafeteria at lunchtime."
"Yeah, yeah," said Swindle while glancing at the college buildings. He had never been in that place, so he could waste a day or two checking it out.
"You better have stayed with our mother," said John.
Swindle felt bored just by hearing that idea.
"The nurse's taking care of her," he said, "and if she's not enough, I can hire another one."
John glared at him for a moment, and then, with Paul and George, headed to his respective classroom.
Swindle, then, started to check out all the college buildings. There were a lot of young students he could swindle so easily—they seemed as innocent and pretencious as his brothers—he only needed to think how.
When he got to the library, he found a very well dressed old man. He seemed to be very busy investigating something. Swindle was a little curious to know why a man so old was wasting his time with school work.
He sat beside him and asked:
"Sorry to bother you, but what are you doing?"
He, without looking up from the sheet of paper on which he was writing on and all the books that he had open around him and that he read from time to time, replied:
"A thesis about postmodernism and its relationship with the 20th century absurd presented in James Joyce's Ulysses, chapter 15," Swindle didn't understand a single Word the old man said, but, thanks to his experience dealing with his brothers, he knew all those words didn't have any meaning to him because those words had no importance in the real world. "It's for my PhD."
"So, what's your PhD about?"
"James Joyce."
"So, you're studying a PhD about only one writer?"
"Yes."
"And it's there a lot of demand for James Joyce PhD's?"
The old man smiled.
"I guess not," he confessed, "but I really love it, even though I'll only end up as a tutor for those who want a James Joyce PhD."
At that very moment, Swindle had an idea."
"Hey, be a good man and lend me a piece of paper and a pen," he said, the old man obeyed.
And Swindle Jones began to write.

Actually, almost the entire Chinese academic community was envious of Lu Zhou.
With a Nobel Prize and a Fields Medal under his belt, not to mention two academician positions, he could easily initiate a ten-figure project just by writing a letter. Thousands of noob researchers would kill to just publish one thesis.

Han Mengqi stood in front of Lu Zhou's desk, and she was pleased to hear the good news. She sighed in relief and had a comforting smile on her face.
She had been preparing for the past six months for this graduation thesis. The knot in her heart was finally untied, and she could take a break for now, at least until next summer.
Lu Zhou looked at Han Mengqi and smiled.
"Don't relax just yet, have you thought about what to do after graduation?"
Han Mengqi scratched her head and shook her head. She hesitated for a bit and said, "I… haven't thought about it."
"Start thinking about it…" Lu Zhou looked at her with a serious expression and said, "If you want to do a PhD, you should start preparing by the beginning of next year. If you want to graduate, you should start looking for a job soon. If you're applying for jobs, I can write a recommendation letter for you."
Han Mengqi stared at the ground and said in an awkward manner, "Professor, can I ask you a question?"
Lu Zhou smiled and said, "Go ahead, answering questions is my job."
"What does… doing a PhD feel like?"
"What does it feel like? That's quite a generic question." Lu Zhou contemplated it for a second before saying, "How should I describe it… Actually, it's quite similar to what you're doing right now. The only difference is your mentality."
"Mentality?" Han Mengqi tilted her head, and she was intrigued. "Can you be more specific?"
Lu Zhou: "Simply speaking, PhD and master's students do roughly the same thing. The difference is that master's students are mainly focused on learning scientific research tools, such as graphical models or Markov chain simulations. They use these tools to solve the small problems they encounter in their scientific research. During this stage, the tools used to solve these problems are recommended to the students by the supervisor. The students are responsible for finding the solution."
"But for PhD students…" Lu Zhou paused for a second and recalled his time as a PhD student. He then said, "Phd students are mainly responsible for solving problems with new tools. The problems can be created by the students or the supervisors. At this stage, the students would have the ability to find new, novel problems. They might also be able to create new tools. That means, when you're a PhD student, you're doing scientific research on your own… Do you get what I'm trying to say?"
"Ah…"
Han Mengqi, who wasn't paying attention, suddenly looked at Lu Zhou.

Especially fields such as the Berry phase and topological effects in phonons, the development of 3D topological materials, and hydrogen storage. These are all popular fields, and you will be able to produce good research." 
The goal of computational materials science was mainly to build predictable or descriptive models to help study the mechanism of materials and reduce the time and cost of new material development.

Dear diary, my name is lili, but mary calls me dou dou. Mary is the nanny my grandparents sent to look after me while mom and dad were away. I'm currently 8 years old and I live in k city. Our city is known for the Horizon, which is the tallest tower in the world.i'm writing in this diary to practice, and Mary told me it's good to write things down. Mary also said that if i write things down i should hide it so no one can read it. 

 you my super secret friend! That means you can keep secrets for me. Since you are a book you probably don't know what you look like. You are a small leather notebook, about the size of a large phone and you have lined pages that i'm writing on. You also have a silky red ribbon attached to the cover, and I can fold part of the cover over to hold you closed

  I found you in an antique store when I went out with Mary to go shopping. Mr Svenson was really nice and included a pen to write with, it's really pretty, it is black with gold at the end. Of course I like you better because you are my super secret friend! I'll put you two together so you can be with friends.

I should tell you a bit more about myself because even though i know you, you don't know much about me. I have black hair and green eyes and I live with Mary, who worked for my grandparents before she took care of me. 
 Mary has black hair and black eyes and her skin is very white, she is really pretty! She works very hard doing the laundry, cooking, cleaning, shopping and taking care of me. I want to help her but she doesn't let me help her. She says that when i turn eight i can help her cook though, so i practice in my mini kitchen in my mini house in the yard.

Mary also teaches me school stuff, she says i can't go to school because my grandparents have a lot of enemies. I learned how to read and write really fast and Mary says I'm a genius! She said my dad was a genius too. There's also math, geography and science, and Mary does training with me like running around and untying knots.

 My mom's name is Ruqian, and my dad is Andrew, they are very hardworking! My mom and dad went to M city to work and they visit once in a while. They always bring presents like chocolate and toys, my favourite is professor penguin, he's a penguin who has a phd, i'm not sure what phd means but mary said that if i study something really hard for 10 years i can get a phd but i have to finish regular school first. 

My mom has black hair like mary and brown eyes, she's even prettier than mary but i think mary could beat her in a fight. She likes to wear black dresses and pearls and she keeps a lot of makeup with antoni, her bodyguard. She loves dad very much, I can tell because she always compliments him and stays by his side. She doesn't talk much to me though, but i know she loves me because she brought me professor penguin. 

My dad is tall and has yellow hair, his eyes are green like mine, and he is a big business man! When dad visits he will lift me up and spin me around like a plane, and he will pat my head a lot when he talks. He usually brings me little toys that are teeny tiny versions of things he makes, like planes and boats and cars, once he even brought me a mini tank. 

I keep these models in my whale backpack from my mom, he's a little blue whale whose mouth opens with a zipper. My dad has a bodyguard named Carl and a secretary named zhang.  Carl looks big and scary like a bear and he usually waits outside in the car, Zhang is shorter than my dad but he's really handsome and nice. Zhang and my dad talk a lot about work and other things and he laughs a lot at my dad's jokes.
 
   I don't think my mom likes him though because they are both trying to get dad's attention. Dad usually says he'll stay for the day but after an hour or two he gets a phone call and then leaves with everyone, he's so hard working!

 They are coming to visit tomorrow and I'm so excited but I have to go to sleep. I'll put you in mr whales mouth and put mr whale right beside me so you'll stay safe. Goodnight.

Im sorry for not posting anymore chaps this week but i had a batism, phd defenses, presentation and the writing to do and review an article that my group would be submit

1-	This is a story that will be during the time of the cannon of harry potter. The MC will be maybe ½ years older than the trio.
2-	There will be romance and probable harem but only later. Since I don’t think 11 years old kid will start to think with their d*** at that age. And the romance will be built not like those typical harem novels where the MC sees a beautiful girl and start to f*** her.
3-	The story will be restricted (18+) of course because this will have mature content…I will warn in the titles thou.
4-	Finally, I’m noob writer…and I started to write once but I failed…since I started my master degree. The schedule will be erratic

Zheng Ren greeted them respectfully. "Chief Bao, Chief Kong, it's a pleasure to meet you all." 
"Please have a seat," Chief Bao said jovially, "You're one of us; there's no need to be so formal."
After the customary refusals, both chiefs were seated on the sofa while Zheng Ren sat on a small stool beside the bed. Su Yun stood behind Zheng Ren with his head lowered.
Feng Xuhui was stuck in an awkward position, not knowing whether it was appropriate to leave the room.
"Let me introduce you both," Chief Bao said, filling the role of host. "This is Dr. Zheng Ren, as I'm sure you know. This is Dr. Zheng's assistant, Su Yun, also known as the rising star of cardiothoracic surgery."
"Hmm?" Chief Kong was taken aback at the mention of Su Yun's name. It felt familiar.
"You left Imperial Capital for almost two years. Do you remember at all?" Chief Bao looked at Chief Kong sardonically, as if quizzing him.
Feng Xuhui, already an anxious wreck from the beginning, was standing in the corner contemplating whether or not to leave.
He was startled by Chief Bao's words.
Chief Zheng had made a great impression on this visit to Imperial Capital. Could it be that the handsome, quick-witted assistant beside him was also somebody?
He had to be, or Chief Bao would not have brought it up.
"I'm losing my memory due to old age." Chief Kong thought for a few seconds before asking, "Who is this talented fellow?"
"His research was not related to interventional surgery, so it's understandable if you don't remember him. However, Su Yun represents the latest generation of cardiothoracic surgeons," Chief Bao said, "Do you recall an article published on The Lancet two years ago?"
Chief Kong stopped smiling, his expression turning serious.
The Lancet was the most renowned journal in the field of general surgery, with an impact factor of over 30. In the world of medicine, it surpassed other prestigious journals such as Nature and Science.
Nowadays, it was harder to graduate with a master's degree or PhD as they required a publication in a journal with the Science Citation Index (SCI).
Chief Kong had stopped taking in Master's students and was thus unfamiliar with any of these.
Only half the PhD students under him managed to graduate on time. The rest took at least five years to complete their studies.
Why?
Aside from writing their graduate thesis, a PhD student also had to publish at least two short articles indexed by the three main international scholarly literature databases, namely SCI, Ei Compendex (EI), and Index to Scientific & Technical Proceedings (ISTP).
In addition, the journal had to have an impact factor of 4 to 5.
The Lancet? Most postgraduate students would never dare publish in that journal. Even Chief Kong himself would have to think twice.
It would be nearly impossible to have their article published.
Su Yun was not even thirty years old, and yet at such a young age, he had already published an article in The Lancet…
"You're Su Yun?!" Chief Kong asked in astonishment.
"You finally remember," Chief Bao said, amused, "Su Yun went to Sea City because of that. Who knew he would return after less than two years."
"It's all a coincidence. I'm only here to observe," Su Yun said, keeping his head bowed.
His explanation sounded far-fetched, but the two chiefs were unbothered.
Feng Xuhui started to see stars in his vision.
Who knew that the assistant beside Chief Zheng had had such a remarkable past?
He had no idea how much gravity publishing in The Lancet had, but it did not stop him from comprehending Su Yun's reputation.
A young doctor under thirty had been able to leave an impression on a professor from Imperial Capital, recognizable by name alone.
As Feng Xuhui thought it over, his heart started to accelerate uncontrollably.
Had Dr. Su been playing dumb to take advantage of Chief Zheng when…

After all, he was a medical pioneer on the national scene. The significance of a successful heart transplant with an animal model surviving over 100 days post-transplant was crystal clear, needing no further elaboration.
The mouse living 107 days post-transplant meant that they had passed pre-clinical trials. They would have been able to move on to the next phase of clinical trials after wrapping up the animal study!
Zheng Ren was also stunned by the news. This had all been accomplished by the sissy behind him?
'It seems unlikely from the way he carries himself,' he thought.
A heart transplant in a mouse was much more intricate than that of a human's as it required skill in microsurgery, post-transplant monitoring notwithstanding.
No wonder he was so good with postoperative care. It had to be all the training with mice.
Had the lab mice played a role in his dream for a veterinary hospital?
Nonetheless, this was the first time Zheng Ren had heard of Su Yun's outstanding achievements.
"It was such a pity that you left Imperial Capital. But you're back now, and that's all that matters," Chief Kong lamented. After hearing of Su Yun's achievements, Chief Kong was tempted to poach the man even if they were from completely different departments.
"This is my superior, Zheng Ren. I'm here as Mr. Zheng's assistant." Su Yun lowered his head and stared at his toes, his black fringe swaying. "We'll return to Sea City after completing the interventional surgery," he continued.
"..." Both chiefs looked at each other with sadness and surprise. They had digressed after meeting Su Yun and forgotten their original topic of conversation.
At that moment, Chief Kong's gaze shifted towards Zheng Ren.
Su Yun was a rising star of cardiothoracic surgery. Even if he decided to throw that away, he ought not to have stayed in the middle of nowhere and chosen a random guy as his superior.
A young man like him was definitely prideful. Were Chief Kong in those shoes, he would never have settled for a random doctor.
He watched Su Yun standing behind Zheng Ren with his head lowered. The blank expression on Zheng Ren's face made it clear that he was just a newcomer and completely lost.
It seemed that he had come to the right place.
Chief Kong straightened his back and said seriously, "Dr. Zheng, I have something to discuss with you."
