The world was a cruel place to live in. The rich  got richer and poor got poorer. Although there is law and order, but then again who are we kidding. This law and order exists only for the rich to manipulate the poor. The law of the jungle- survival of the fittest still prevails. The so called high class people are those who abuse the law, feed on the agonies of the poor and so called low class people. Even though the world may have advanced, it's only externally. The law of the jungle remains same, what has changed is resources instead of personal strength, financial strength is important. The person who has immense financial power can achieve anything. There are many clans and group although not known are powerful to the extreme. In all there are 10 such clans and group who are hidden but active on the planet. Among them the topmost and the foremost is the Jackson group. Jackson group, the most powerful group in the world. Even though it's ranked first the second one isn't even close to it. The difference between first and second is like heaven and earth.

Jackson group was the only group tied to the UN. The services offered by this group was only one. Research and development. The group excelled in science and technology. Especially in the field of weapons. Although it only offered services to UN. It's power is not to be underestimated.

Even though many organization tried to undermine it's creator and base no one had been successful yet. It's sole contact was a man named James and this was only known to the UN not any one else.

" Sir, I will be reaching the mansion in about 10 minutes." 
A man with white hair and a white beard the one which appears with age kind of white, with a Butler uniform spoke to a person on his 
intercom. This man was James the one responsible for the Jackson group. 

In the middle of the Pacific Ocean existed an island the size of a decent sized city. The island was beautiful, full of minerals and natural vegetation. There existed an ancient Roman style palace on the centre of the island which was connected to the port on the eastern side. The palace was grand with walls surrounding it. There was a fountain in the front and rows of luxurious cars and vehicles were parked in the front. The backyard of the palace had a pool and on the west of the palace was a mini airport with four helipads and two airstrips, a central air traffic control tower and few garages for private jets. The sound of a jet engine reverberated in the sky. An Antonov an-178 approached the runway and landed. A Rolls Royce approached the aircraft and a man boarded the vehicle. The jet turned, roaring it's engine it took off and flew away. Meanwhile inside the Rolls Royce James sat on the front, the car reached the palace and James departed from the vehicle.

Meanwhile inside a seemingly ordinary bedroom in the palace sat a man wearing a bathrobe drinking tea leisurely and watching some video on the projection in front of him. Although it's a projection there was no screen, meaning the it was a holographic video projection and the man was Percy the real mastermind and owner of Jackson group.

While Percy was busy watching the projection, a knock was heard on the door and James arrived in a manner which if seen by the UN authorities would frighten them to death. As the man who was domineering and arrogant with noble attitude behaved and presented himself like a Butler. Indeed James was the butler and guardian of Percy and his only family.

When Humanity finds out the biggest secret behind their existence, all is destroyed in the war for their fate. 

The history of their Predecessors and their tragic fate repeats again in a new era.

To change their destiny again, they must fight, but only this time it is a fight to death.

A man, hardens his heart, as he learns of Humanity's tragic past and vows to fight till death with a newly acquired Knowledge and Power.

It's a Journey of Human Race as a whole and the changes it brings about.

The story moved to another platform with a better version due to personal reasons.

Hades was right now spending time with Sally as because he was always around visiting she never had to be with Gabe. Right now he was wondering why Luke never came for his symbol of power. He just can't seem to figure it out until his brother Poseidon said that his trident was stolen and he's almost positive it was Zeus. This made Hades break down laughing because it seems Luke skipped him over completely.

Percy's Pov

Hi I'm Perseus Jackson but most call me Percy. I never knew knew my father but I knew my uncle he was always there for me never missed a birthday and never missed one of my swim meets competitions. I tried getting him to tell me more about my father but all he would ever say was "in due time". As I'm right now in school with my best friend Grover we are sitting in Mr. Brunner's class learning about the Greek gods


Brunner: and so back in ancient times Hades denounced Zeus and the Olympians and left Olympus with his followers they called themselves the Grand Order of Deities or G.O.D if you want a acronym. Any questions so far?


student: why did gods follow Hades wasn't Zeus the strongest?


Brunner: haha there are many reasons that people believed some of Zeus's followers say Hades forced them and they followed out of fear, while those who followed Hades says it's because Zeus was a Tyrant and they followed Hades because he was kind.


Percy: I believe Hades side?


Brunner: Oh why is that Mr. Jackson


Percy: because when you look at Mythology you would hear about Zeus and the Olympians smiting things and people out of anger yet there's no myth of Hades ever doing any of that plus after the gods joined G.O.D the myths of them smiting things ended only the Olympians still smited. So I am flmore inclined to believe that if Hades was unwilling to harm humans then wouldn't he be even kinder to his family?


Brunner: you aren't wrong that's a very wise point of view Mr. Jackson


after Mr. Brunner's class Percy went to his math class with Mrs. Dodds. Mrs. Dodds was always kind to Percy and treated him well as took the extra time to help him understand the work.  After the class I went to the pool to practice for the Swim meet that's coming up.

Alecto's POV 


I have been sent by Master Hades to protect Percy from danger I don't know from what as all monsters belong to Hades so no one would harm Percy but I don't mind Percy has always been a good boy and listened as long as I took his issues in to account that comes from being a Demi-god. 


That Chiron though is annoying and thinks I'm here to harm Percy but after explaining my orders he backed off. Yet he's a pest who keeps asking for us to share information and wants updates about Percy's well being


Alecto: master wants to send Percy to the camp for his protection so that Zeus doesn't get any funny ideas


Chiron: I can understand that as well specially with the war between Zeus and Poseidon it could get messy for young Perseus so it's best to send him to camp half blood  just to be safe.


Alecto: yes my master is already talking to his mother about it all we need to do is wait for the go ahead.


Grover: u..um I heard Hades knew where Pan was.... I took this mission to get that chance to ask for a audience with Lord Hades.


Alecto: *sigh* sure I will talk to him about it. oh but my master wanted to offer a deal with the camp.

Chiron: What would that be?

Alecto: simply put if you guys find the lightning thief instead of giving Zeus the master bolt bring it  to him.

Chiron: Does Hades want a war with Zeus!?

Alecto: it's a thunderbolt that shoots Thunderbolts hahaha he thinks it will be fun and instead of making one he wants Zeus's.

Chiron was sweating at the thought of what could happen if Hades took Zeus's Master bolt


Chiron:w...we can talk about that later..... so should we go check on young Perseus?


Alecto: of course *looks at Grover* come on young ferret let's go check on the boy


Grover: I'm not a ferret!

Alecto ignored him and walked out of the room making Chiron sigh and follow in his wheelchair

Hades was still with Sally talking to her about how Percy needed to go to Camp. Sally at first wasn't having it but have in knowing Hades had the best interest of Percy at heart.

Sally: are you sure about this Hades....

Hades: It's for the best maybe training and fighting some rogue monsters will do him some good he needs it....plus I want him to know who his father is.

Sally: *sigh* fine we will talk to him when he gets home....I hope he isn't heart broken about not getting to go to the swim meet.

a man named Jason was always a fan of all form of fantasy from hooks to movies to shows all the way to anime, manga and fanfic

Annabeth POV
Just when I thought the day couldn't get any better, Apollo's eyes scanned Percy Jackson standing on the left side of the auditorium. Honestly, I was having a great day at least relative to my standards. After all, any day that didn't start with me arguing with my step-monster, Helen, was a good day. Even school passed by quickly and successfully. I learned new things and aced my AP World History exam. 
Contrary to my classmates and friends, I liked school because I always welcomed learning something new. My immense curiosity complemented my intelligence. I hated not knowing things. 
I was pumped by auditions time, and I knew I did well singing Never Enough. I took great pride in how hard I worked to sing this masterpiece of a song. And, based on the audience's reaction, I knew I delivered. People were used to seeing me at auditions because I've been playing some lead role ever since middle school thanks to my acting and vocal skills. 
"Annie, that was one of the best renditions of Never Enough I ever heard besides the original of course," exclaimed my friend Piper as she bounced in her seat. Piper McLean was a natural beauty of Cherokee ancestry. However, why I liked Piper so much and why we got along so well was that she didn't care about her looks or the fame she got from her father, Tristan McLean, a famous actor. But, it did make sense that Piper would be a great actress and solid singer based on her family history. 
"Aww. Thanks, Piper. Your audition was amazing as well. I'm sure you are gonna get a part with Jason. Also, how many times have I told you to quit calling me Annie? I hate that name."
Piper just chuckled before speaking up again: "What kind of friend would I be if I didn't irritate you. Anyway, I might have a chance at playing Anne, but you are the definite choice for Jenny Lind. I mean no one else even came close to your audition."
"Thanks again, Pipes. There is a lot of talent here, so I guess we'll see." I tried to be as modest as possible, but even I was confident that I did what I had to do in order to snag the role I wanted. Jenny Lind was the role I desired because she was complex yet successful despite not coming from much support. I guess I connected with that. Plus, Never Enough was THE SONG for me. 
Just when I thought auditions were over and we were packing up to leave, Apollo called Percy Jackson onto the stage. I didn't like Percy very much. I mean fine he was a great swimmer and no one can deny that he was attractive, but he was a trouble maker. He didn't care for academics at all, he fooled around or slept in class, and he went around dating girls just for the physical experience, which many times ended with the girl getting hurt. I guess Percy wasn't a player (he never crossed that line), but he wasn't considerate in his relationships either in my opinion. 
Grover, our backstage coordinator, was talking to and setting up the mic for Percy as he got prepared to 'audition'. As far as I knew, Percy was not a singer or an actor, so this was definitely going to be something. He seemed extremely nervous and panicked as he read through the lyrics on the sheet in his hand. His hands were slightly shaking as he clutched the mic with one hand and the lyrics with the other. 
"This is gonna be hilarious," Thalia said as she pulled out her phone and started filming. I couldn't help but smirk at my best friend's actions. She was the punk-rock type of girl, but we clicked regardless of how different we were. What can I say, she was the balance I required in a best friend. 
"All righty. Dustin, why don't you sing the part of young Barnum and the auditionee will enter where old Barnum would." Apollo ordered. This was actually very good news for Dustin because it showed that the freshman was practically set for playing the role of young Barnum. 
A Million Dreams was considered the easiest song to sing, which is why most students auditioned with that song. It was structured so that a younger male voice (young PT Barnum) sang first, but he got older throughout the song. Then, the older male voice (old PT Barnum) would take over, and the song ends with a male/female (Barnum and his wife, Charity) duet. This was a good idea by Apollo because it would allow Percy to listen to the song once more before he had to sing the tune himself. 
"All right, let's go." The music and song started. Dustin was a fair singer, but his voice still needed time to mature because he was physically younger than most of the other students here, which was another reason why young Barnum was a good fit for him. Miss Artemis also readied herself at her own mic to sing the female part of the song. Percy seemed ready enough as well but still panicked and nervous. Honestly, I felt a little bad for him; I mean he was basically jumped to audition and I was partly to blame. 
The music swelled as the first chorus hit. It was a really beautiful and uplifting song about dreaming up the future you wanted. Grover was giving gestures to Percy to get him situated. I assumed he would cue Percy at the right moment. Everyone was watching the scene in front of us with interest wondering how grim a 0-experience, swim jock was going to-
All thoughts blasted out of my head as Grover gave the cue and Percy started to sing. It was unbelievable and indescribable. I mean Percy Jackson, the immature swim jock, had a damn solid voice. His voice was low and baritone, more of a theater voice than a pop voice, but a great singing voice regardless. A silence fell over as everyone listened and watched him sing all the whilst thinking: how in the world. Even his expressionism was on point. How his face would smile at a few words or his eyes would sparkle at certain times. He had mesmerizing sea-green eyes that only became more eye-catching when he sang and expressed. His eyes even closed when the lyric demanded it like when he sang "to the world I close my eyes to see." 
Miss Artemis faltered off in order to let Percy finish the last chorus alone even though it's supposed to be a duet. His voice gained in strength and confidence as he went on, and it was a better, smoother ending than it was in the beginning. DAMN, he was good. I had to admit I was impressed by his voice and expressionism. 
The music died and the song ended as Percy finished the last verse in dialogue form like the song demanded. The auditorium filled with silence as people just stared at the surprise auditionee in front of us. That was certainly not what anyone was expecting. As annoying and bold Apollo was at times, he did have an ability to sniff out talent.
"Um, I'm sorry if that was bad. I can leave now, right? Thanks," said Percy into the mic before walking off stage to grab his bags. I gaped at how stupid he was. One, how could he think that he was a bad audition. And two, he didn't even seem to care, which was straight infuriating. So many people would love to have his skill, but he didn't seem to know or care. I watched as he left with Grover in tow. Poor Grover was probably gonna get an earful from his currently flushed/annoyed friend. 
My attention turned back to Apollo as he thanked everyone for auditioning. I knew that he was impressed as were Miss Artemis (a music and dance teacher like Apollo) and Mr. Bruner (Goode High's acting teacher).  
Thalia, Piper, and I were bustling about what we experienced as we made our way to Piper's car. To be honest, the lead role of PT Barnum was between Luke and Jason, but Percy with a lot of work could also make a great fit. However, Percy didn't want or care for the musical, and as such, someone like him definitely shouldn't get the role. Percy would end up sabotaging everything. 
I cared a lot about Goode High's productions as well as my own acting and singing. I could NOT have someone like Percy distracting and/or ruining my performance.

Percy Jackson is Goode High School's swim jock with a complicated past unknown to most of the people around him. Everyone, especially the girls, loves Percy as he's attractive, sociable, and an amazing athlete. As one of the best teen swimmers in the state, his world revolves around the sport for more reasons than one. 

Annabeth Chase grew up with a dream of performing on stage. She's beautiful, intelligent, and talented with a stellar voice, leading her to become the school's sunshine actress and singer since freshman year. Despite her family's reluctance, Annabeth continues to strive for her own future. 

Never once had Percy imagined or wanted to be stuck doing a musical. Yet, when he is forced to audition, his whole world turns upside down, especially due to a certain co-star's presence. Percy and Annabeth can't stand each other, so watch what happens when their worlds collide during Goode High's crazy production of The Greatest Show.

"You? How would you be expected to battle 'he who must not be named' By yourself" A condescending tone evident in Ron's voice, only enraged Percy further who was clenching his fists to try and control the overwhelming need to rip this mans head off. 
 "Hell, you're one man whom may or may not have magical powers. The only thing you've got going for you, is that you've got muscles and attitude."

"I've been fighting battles since I was twelve, handling myself in battle isn't our main concern. Yes, If Voldermort comes for a fight. I will meet him happily, but when someone isn't "All powerful" like Voldermort he will think of sneaky ways to get the job done. This is why we are having this meeting to think of strategies not to panic."

Ron scoffed but remained silent for the moment.

Ron had already brought up Percy's family, it was a low blow and grated his nerves. Even his mother had tried to keep him quite, but there was no silencing his insults every time Percy added to the conversation. A small dark voice in Percy's head reminded him of an ability he had learned in tartarus, something he never wanted to use again. But if the red head kept talking and no one tried to stop him he'd show him how useless he could be.

"What protection spells work well with surprise attacks?" Percy said ignoring Ron again.

 "Face it! you've got no place here in this order, and less at Hermione's side."

"Ron!" Hermione yelled getting to her feet and began to say something else... "I'm not some princess to be protected!" but Percy's patience broke, almost completely out of his control. The feeling as expected was on the edge of his consciousnesses. The familiar tug in his gut. Suddenly Ron gasped for air as he could literally feel the fluids in his body swirling around. Fun fact, the human body is made of 70 percent water. Only 30 percent is calcium and other elements, water is inside every organ, one of the main ingredients in blood and filters through the brain. If Percy wanted to, he could control Ron's body to walk across the room and throw his head into the wall repeatedly. Ron pawed for release from the deadly torture, his face turning read with effort.

It wasn't until he heard Hermione's scream, a scream so familiar and frightening, so much so that it shocked him. His mind wandered to the time in tartarus, Annabeth had screamed very similarly. He could hear her desperately begging him to stop, so he did. He tore his eyes away from Ron who clutched his throat and did a few breathing repetitions to try and get his lungs back to normal. Percy stood up avoiding the horrified glances from the people around him, but most of all avoiding Hermione's gaze, hers most likely being the most hurtful of them all. He walked to the closed dining room door before turning his head ever so slightly.

 "Maybe your right, I don't think it will work out. Me being here. I'll continue with my quest to protect Hermione but I don't think anyone is comfortable with me here anymore." Percy knew he messed up he not only lost control he had lost much more than that. How could she trust him now that she seen his darkest side.

 Leaving now was the best option, he spun around and walked towards the door again. He realized now, how much he missed his old band of heroes, who'd saved the world with him so many times. The team of demigods in both the battle in Manhattan and the one against Gaea, had their flaws and sometimes didn't get along but always were grateful to see someone trying to help them win the war.

Percy stopped before completely leaving the room. "Here's a tip, if you want to win a war. Don't take your teammates for granted, because in seconds they can be ripped away from you, either by sword, gun, or wand. You are going to need all the help you can get to defeat the 'dark lord' you don't have time or the right to choose who is on your team. Trust me I've been through this before." His voice was filled with regret, and he felt very tired after saying his peace. "Oh and Ron, I promise you. I had mercy on you today. So before you try to convince everyone how bad I am... Remember if I were the Dark Lord I would have done a lot worse"

 With that Percy opened the dining room door. Hermione right on his hills she was upset. Just as he reached the door he felt a delicate hand on his shoulders stopping him from moving any further.
 "Your leaving?" He sighed, he did not need her to comfort him right now, if anything seeing her eyes might make him lose his resolve.

 "So what you're just going to ignore me?!" Hermione's voice was raised not liking the silent treatment. "...I thought you love me." Her voice so low Percy almost didn't catch it, but as soon as he did he froze. Quickly turning around he met her red eyes looking at him with so much hurt in them, any resolve he had originally to put distance between them melted away right then. He grabbed her small trembling form and with as much vigor he could muster kissed her. He couldn't walk away from her she was the only thread that kept him together. After the kiss he put his forhead against hers and whispered. "You still want to be with a monster like me?" Meeting his eyes she was stunned in place and her tears streaked down her face. Shaking her head with passion she meet his down cast eyes. "You. A monster? Never." She kissed him again making the world fade away, and all that was left was just the two of them. 

A voice then cut through their passion. I was a frightened sound, it was so out of place they raced to the next room. They saw something that was so far from what they expected it was jarring to say the least.
 
In the moments they had left the room a woman held Ron in a headlock running her perfectly manicured fingernail down his jaw.

 "Hello sweetie! You'll make such a tasty snack"

 Everyone stood up wands at the ready, everyone but Percy had taken out a weapon.

 "Tsk, tsk If one of you even taps me with your…. "weapons" I'll break his neck before you can say Tartarus…. Oops hon is that a touchy subject for you?" The woman said in Percy direction. She was pretty Percy had to admit, but deadly.

 "Who are you…"

I am Lamia. Daughter of Poseidon and Ceto."

 "Lama… interesting name" Percy stated simply cocking his head to the side, slowly moving forward so he was standing in front of Lamia. She hissed at him.

 "How Dare you! How dare you Its La-Me-A. Say it with me LaMeA."
 Getting closer to the monster he could see a set of snakeskin on her forearm and on the side of her waist. Hmm interesting Poseidon, I think not.

 "Lamia…. Nah, I like Lama better" She glared at him before taking a nail and scraping a short mark down the side of Ron's cheek. He screamed, it wasn't a deep cut but enough for blood to show.

 "Let him go… he's not like us. This is between you and me not him!"

 Lamia smiled.

 "Oh dear brother, showing your cards a little early don't you think? I don't know… he'd make quite a tasty snack, not as tasty as the one behind you." She said eyeing Annabeth. "But he will do quite nicely"

"Lama, If you wanted to threaten me with anyone... You picked the least likely to get the job done." Percy smirked 

"So be it" She opened her mouth and bared the fangs... Well this is a perfect time to call her bluff with no plan, Percy thought. As she creeped closer and closer to Ron's neck she spoke.
 
"Looks like the famous Perseus Jackson can't do anything to save his friend, I guess this proves it. Myths really are myths. Percy Jackson the one hit wonder… who knew today would be the day history is erased, Instead of Percy Jackson the Hero. Thousands of years from now you'll be called Percy Jackson, a pitiful hero, and an even worse friend"
 "First of all… three hit wonder, I think you forgot to add Gaea to the list of psychotropic women I've had to defeat… And while we're on the topic of crazy women that want to kill me, I mean Keli was crazy as a bag of cats, but at least she was hot. You don't even compare to her" She stopped and closed her mouth and looked at Percy with outrage. He had a plan It was a crazy plan, but a plan none the less.
 "I remember Keli she was really hot… so was Tammy. Heck blonde hair is super attractive, and Keli was remotely smart too"
 "Oh yeah, Keli is really pretty… but you know who is even prettier than Keli?" Hermione said looking excited. Percy realized she must have a plan.
 
"Who?"

 "Hera." Percy gave Hermione a bewildered look, Hera was… just no. In response Hermione gave him a just go with it look.
 "Yeah Hera's gorgeous…. love the... peacock thing she's got going on" Hermione almost laughed at my response but caught her self.

Lamia was preoccupied by the sudden turn in conversation but her face turned pale when we continued. Lamia hissed at them. "HOW DARE YOU TALK ABOUT THAT WOMAN IN MY PRESENCE"

 Before Lamia could react Percy uncapped riptide and Slashed one quick motion towards her waist, but instead of turning to dust like she should have, riptide barely even scratched her. The snakeskin around her waist acted as an armor.
 
 Lamia let loose of Ron with one movement and pushed him behind her, she stalked right up to him threateningly. Percy then notice a tail coming out of her backside. LAMIA, now he remembered her. Chiron had told him some myth about her. From what he remembered Lamia was a mistress of Zeus, which made her jealous and ended up killing her children except for Syllca. But why was she here, what was so special about Ron? Percy's brain was working in overdrive and now that she didn't have Ron in her arms the other wizards in the room were trying to hit her with spells, but they didn't penetrate her skin. Ms. Weasly! Of course… Since Hera killed Lamia's children… Lamia turned into a monster herself, and would devour children, to make other mothers feel her pain.
 "Perseus Jackson, I've long awaited my turn to kill you. Today I finally get my chance, you and your little one." She pointed at Hermione's stomach. "Percy Jackson, today you will feel my pain, today is the day i will get vengeance by killing one of Hera's champion's children." She paused taking a breath. The look on Percy's face seemed to amuse her because she started laughing. What did she mean "Hera's champion's children"?
 "Feel the pain I felt Jackson. Every time I try to forget. She reminds me of them, all because of jealousy. You call these gods the rulers of this world, yet they are the same as the humans that roam this earth. The only difference being they are stuck in an endless lifetime, one where nothing changes, the world around them grows, but do they. The gods never change, and they never will, they are still as heartless as they were thousands of years ago and as they will be thousands of years from now. So tell me this Perseus, is it worth it?" She raised her clawed hands and lunged at Hermione's stomach.
