It was Thursday evening, her date was tomorrow and she was scared as hell. What was she panicking over? Probably the fact that they never had a good start and it was hella awkward or the fact that this was her first day, after all, l she didn't want to make a fool of her again and be bullied. She was watching peaky blinders again, something about Thomas Shelby made her watch it again and again but she never watched the one where Grace died after. It was heartbreaking, so she restarted. It to that episode and maybe she might start again.

She heard the doorbell ring and frowned at the door. It was early for her father to come home early and Thursday being meant that he was probably going to come around dinner. She got up and muted the TV and peeked through the hole. Adeline gasped; it was the girl who threw a milkshake on her! She kept the chain on the door and opened the door until the chain allowed. She looked at her but didn't say anything, a slight frown sat on her face.

"Hi I am Trixie," that's a hookers name, Adeline thought and then giggled at the dialogue. Lucifer.

"I threw uh… milkshake at you today…"

"I know." I felt it mentally, socially and physically.

"I am sorry," she started, "please, please forgive me. I don't know what came over me when I did it, I didn't know that you were his mate otherwise, hell, I would've stayed away from you. Adeline took pity on the girl, she had come to apologise even when she could've done it on Monday. She closed the door and unchained it from the lock. Trixie looked dejected when she saw her closing the door but a bit relieved when she opened it.

"I forgive you," Adeline softly spoke. Just to ease it off her shoulders. She did not want to carry the burden. 

"But we are going on a date and if it goes well, I don't think that we would remain mates." She explained and cleared her doubts.

"But are you going oh—oh! yes, I understand and I wish you luck. Bye!" Trixie hurried down the steps and ran through the driveway knowing she had a slip-up and could be punished for it. Adele watched her run, shrugging she went back in and unmuted her television.

"That went better than expected, didn't it honey?"

"Of course it did but the girl had a slip-up and we witnessed it." He placed a kiss on his mate's head. "She'll be punished for it." Cassandra could only pity Trixie and judging by the number of acts she had done, she knew it won't be a pretty show to watch.

The week went pretty quick Charlotte and Gabrielle were spending most of their time together either with his friends or alone. Charlotte had decided to go with the Kray twins and their rule during the 1950's, whilst Gabrielle focused on the peaky blinders era during the 19th century. They'd had a pretty hectic week, she hadn't made any progress in finding his father and they were really looking for a ducking miracle. She knew her way around I the deepest parts of the web where the most evil hid form the world she hoped someone would know of his father but it seemed Kiel they were all running scared, but why? Well apart fr0m her father he had contacts everywhere and they'd do as he said by the click if his fingers would he stop so low into not letting her find this man his son so wanted to find redemption in?
They'd worked so hard their heads were hurting. 'I think we should call it a night Gabes.'
'Yeah you're right I have a pounding headache I don't know about you.'
'A cracker.'

She nodded and they picked up their books they'd do some more research  tomorrow. For now he just wanted some pain killers and bed he reckoned she needed it to. She looked well and truly fucked they'd been in there four hours and had missed supper. They walked out of the library heading to their rooms. 'I'm sorry it's taking so long Gabes.'

I walk through the hallway trying to make my way through the 5th lesson of the day.
We arrived early in the morning and sorted out our ID work, Asher knew some people in his year, so he walked off whilst I was left to find my way along. However, not for that long. During my first lesson this sweet and absolutely stunning girl called Ava came to sit next to me and we ended up having a lot in common:

Okay so I agree not that much in common but it's something right!
I get brought out of my train of thought when Ava tells me we've reached our lesson, 'ugh! Here we are. This is where our maths class is'
I like maths; every problem has a certain way of answering questions unlike problems in real life.
Right before walking in, I bump into a guy. Gosh did I have to be clumsy.
'Watch where you're walking love' I look up to meet a pair of dazzling green eyes which have jet black hair slightly falling on them. He shakes his head back slightly to move them.
I just walk past and mumble 'shouldn't I be saying that to you'
I feel a tug on my arm and get pulled back until I'm in front of the same eyes 'what'd you say?'
I free my arm by pulling back and say 'nothing', turn around and walk into my lesson as if nothing happened. Newsflash! That is not how I was feeling, my heart was racing so fast and I could feel my face turning red slightly.
'Omg are you okay' I hear Ava who is beside me again.
I lie of course, 'I'm fine but who's that?'
'He's Kane, try to not get on his bad side. He has got a lot of contacts in this school and it would not take him long to spread some ridiculous rumour about you. Anyway, come you can sit next to me and my friends'
The lesson sped by fast and since I'd learnt most of this stuff it was pretty easy so kept hearing 'well done' and 'learn something from the new girl guys'. I could also feel someone's eyes on me throughout the lesson; I had a feeling I knew whose they were, but I did not dare turn around. Ava's friends were also nice; Nikita, Emily and Grace. I'd met them during break but didn't really remember their names.
I chuckle slightly at how silly I sound
'What's up?' Asher from beside me asks, who is driving us back home.
'Basically, Ava introduced me to her friends, and I wasn't able to remember them until the last lesson so I was just laughing at my stupidity' I laugh at the end of it.
'Classic Delilah, I expected you to do something like this' Asher shakes his head and laughs along 'do you remember when you didn't remember aunty Cassy's name and she didn't talk to you for a whole month'
'Oh my gosh yes! How could I forget that?'
Our laughter fills the car until we get home as we continue to talk about our stupid moments.
Mum and dad aren't home, so we get changed into something comfy and decide to just eat the leftover pasta from the previous night. Whilst eating, we rewatch the episodes of peaky blinders. I mean come on it's an amazing show.
'NO! They killed off Grace! WHY!'
I stand on the sofa whilst shouting. My brain wasn't comprehending what just happened.
'And that's the end of watching tv I guess, I need to complete some work anyway and you should catch up on work too' Asher was still laughing and shaking his head whilst walking out of the living room.
I stayed there for a while still trying to wrap my head around what just happened. Eventually what seemed like an eternity (which was actually 5 mins) I got up to wash some dishes.

I looked over to see a notification of some Kane.Allen requesting to follow. Huh? Who's that? Its probably a random person requesting to follow. I didn't give it much thought and continued to wash dishes. I headed up to my room to sort out some of my stuff.
I hated moving around so frequently. It meant changing friends and redecorating. My parents were part of an estate agent firm which meant they had to move around a lot to check out properties. They were the best parents, always looking out for us and not leaving us behind but I just wish we didn't have to move so much.
I come across a picture of one my friends that I met 3 years when I was 15. I'm still in touch with her and talk to her from time to time but I guess my introvert personality makes it hard.
I come across another picture of my parents wedding day and she looks so beautiful with her dark brown hair in curls, her smile looks so stunning as her eyes twinkle whilst looking at my dad who looks equally as happy. He must've been the one that made a joke to make her laugh. I wish I got her eyes; the hazel green colour but unfortunately, I got my dad's dark brown eyes. Asher got her eyes though which is what makes most girls swoon.
I put all the pictures up on the wall and start to study, solving my maths problems.
Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
Its an unknown number. 'Hello'
'Hey, its Ava. We were going to do some biology work and wanted to see if you need help on catching up' she sounded so excited that her excitement reflected on my face.

I get a call 2 seconds later and it's what made my day. They were so much freer and funnier outside of school. Nikita's baby sister kept coming to annoy her which was making all of us laugh.
I guess first day was a success.
Asher was right, maybe I will be fine after all.

We all turn to look behind.
"Mom!!," Serena, Scott, and Stefano shout in surprise.  
"And dad," said another voice, revealing a sullen face Thomas Evans.
He looked around at the dead bodies.
"Bloody hell," he groaned, facepalming himself.
"Oh shut up, Tommy," Lucia rolled her eyes as they both walked towards us.
"Tommy?," Scott's eyebrows raised as he looked at his other siblings, "What happened to Thomas the Tank Engine?,".
"Your mom's obsessed with the Peaky Blinders," replied Thomas.
"Or more like a kink," Stefano mumbled.
"What's that?," asked Lucia, her eyes piercing at her son.
"Nothing, nothing," Stefano quickly smiled, "It's good to see you both again,".  
The three Evans took turns in hugging their parents before Lucia walked straight towards Antonio and Adrianna, with her sons and daughter towing behind her. Thomas stayed back and stood next to Enrique, watching what's going to happen at Antonio.  
"You filthy fucker," said Lucia quietly as she looked murderously at her brother, "You betrayed us all, you even tried to kill your own family,".  
"I should have been the Don, not you," he flared up at her and grimaced in pain at the same time, "The family should have been ruled by a man, not a weak woman like you,".
"Did he just call mom 'weak'?," Scott whispered to Serena.
"Dick move," I heard Serena whisper back.  
Stefano shushed them and both of them quickly silenced their voices and focused back on their mother. Lucia took her gun out and pointed directly at his head.  
"You wouldn't dare, I'm your brother.. Your family..," said Antonio.
"You're no family of ours anymore," replied Lucia, her face expressionless.
"What about Philippa? She wouldn't want her only brother to be dead," Antonio screamed at her.  
"Oh she wants to kill you too since you were trying to kill us," Lucia's lips curled into an evil smile, "So now, dear brother, any last words?,".  
"Fottiti, cagna..," Antonio cursed. (Fuck you, bitch)
"May you rest in hell, papa," said Adrianna quietly followed by a loud bang as Lucia pulled the trigger.  
Antonio's body fell to the ground and there were no tears on Adrianna's face. She just stared down at her father's body while Thomas walked towards Lucia and put his arms around her waist. Lucia's arm finally went down from her aim and she gave her gun to Adrianna as Thomas kissed the top of her head. There were sounds of cars screeching outside Kandahari Begum Tomb and INTERPOL started pouring in with the rest of the Cortez and two little boys who were both running towards Enrique and Cecilia.
"My boys..," Cecilia started to wept with Enrique kneeled down with his arms wide open to hug their sons.  
Daryl Denver who was walking behind them grinned happily while the INTERPOL who had the local police with them were starting to do their jobs in taking pictures and questioning us. All along Serena stood by my side and answered some of the questions that were bombarded to us and the others until finally Lucia asked a question.  
"Are you going to arrest all of us?," Lucia looked at Agent Eriksson.  
"Well you're all criminal gangs," she replied solemnly, "But then again, you have helped us take down one of the biggest drug cartels and human smugglers, so I guess we could have a talk with our President first. For now, you're all free to go,".  
"Thank you," Lucia nodded at her.
"And thank you," Agent San smiled at us, "If any of you would like to join us, give me a call, we could give you guys a good recommendation,".  
We didn't say anything but smile back politely. I can read Serena's head that joining the INTERPOL is not in her goal. They took the dead bodies including Sharma and Antonio for further investigation and post mortem while we headed towards the parking lot to get to our cars and go back to the private hangar.  
"By the way, mom, how did you know about our location?," asked Stefano.
"INTERPOL.. Apparently your zia Philippa is dating one of them," Lucia replied casually.
"Zia Philippa has a boyfriend?," asked Scott disbelivingly.
"It won't last long," said Adrianna quietly, "She's been changing men since I've known her,".
"Sounds familiar, right?," said Scott, wiggling his eyebrows which earned him a smack on the head by Adrianna.
It took us nearly ten minutes to get to the parking lot and I can see that Serena's getting tired.  
"Can we stop at the pharmacy or drugstore?," asked Serena.
"Why? Are you hurt?," I tried to examine her body.
"No, I need a tampon or sanitary pad," she replied as we got into our cars.
"Oh no.. She's having a Carrie moment," groaned Denver who got into the back seat.
"Keep talking and I'll shove the tampon inside your mouth," Serena glared at him.
"Ok ok.. Sheesh.. Girls and their PMS," Denver mumbled earning a smack from Gabriella who got inside the car and sat next to him.
We drove to the nearest pharmacy and Serena got out of the car with Gabriella. Few minutes later the girls return back with Serena carrying brown paper bags and we continue our journey back to the hangar. Die Slagter and Yakuza were already back when all of us arrived. Some were eating, some were chatting happily with other gang members and some were treating their injuries. I looked at Serena and she was beaming as she walked towards her family. I joined Hans and Cortez, sitting together around the fire as Adrianna and Manny were roasting marshmallows. Both Hamasaki and Adebowale were in a deep conversation and the Die Slagter finally packed their things.
"We're leaving tonight," said Daewon solemnly to all of us, "We're returning for my father's funeral,".
"Thank you for helping us, Daewon," said Serena as she gave him a hug, "Your father will be so proud of you,".
"I know he is," Daewon smiled at her.
Lucia had agreed to lend Daewon her jet so he and the rest of Die Slagter could go back to Sierra Leone while the Verdinos and the Cortez will follow us back to Germany with Hans, Serena's and my jet tomorrow. Hamasaki and her Yakuza will also return back to Japan at the same time with us with her jet. We said goodbye to the Die Slagter and headed back inside the hangar. I noticed that Serena had been yawning twice now.
"Let's go back inside my jet, you need to sleep, love," I gently pulled her hand and led her to my jet and climbed inside.  
"I need to use the bathroom, first," said Serena.
"Alright then," I replied back.
She enters the bathroom carrying her brown paper bag with her. After thirty minutes, she still hadn't exited and I grew worried. Thinking that she might have fallen asleep inside, I decide to knock on the folding door.  
"Love, are you alright?," I asked her.
"Just come in," she replied from inside.
I opened the door and she was sitting on the lid of the toilet seat. Her hands were holding a familiar plastic stick and she looked at me with a serious face.
"What's wrong?," I asked her.
She didn't answer but handed me the stick and I looked at it. It was a pregnancy test kit and there were two lines emerging in the middle. I can feel my jaw dropped in shock as I stared back at her.

Large wings with feathers and dark fumes that would scare any person in the room. She pushed him back, cornering him against the walls. "Tell me now, tell me," she said in her hoarse voice. Her hair lying down on her shoulders. She changed into her real costume. The black gown with slits from the hips, the black metal tiara with precious stones embellished in them. Her evilness purging out that turned the sky black and cause heavy thunders outside. He looked outside the window and back at her face. Her eyes shined bright, her lens turning blue this time. She raised her brows at him. He was panting and sweating.
"I....." he tried to speak. 
She smiled holding his chin. "What is it my boy?" She asked. "If you are scared you should never come for me again but pretend that I don't exist. Can you do that?" He did not say anything again. "A Demoness from hell will not be soft and coy, but fierce and pure evil," she told him. He had trouble speaking when he heard it. Demoness from Hell. "Happy? You know now," she said to him. She saw him swallowing hard.
She let him go and turned away. She turned back to her normal self and walked towards the open kitchen counter. And while she did, she was grabbed by him suddenly and he turned her towards him, putting his arms around her waist. 
"A Demoness, then I will be the demon and keep torturing like we spent time together in my house," he said and pulled her even closer. Her heart pounded loud this time. "You thing I cannot feel it?" He asked her. He placed his palm on her chest. She was hot. Her heart pumped loud. "See," he teased her this time. He touched her chin and looked at her tempting lips. She resisted it well. She did. She looked away and she could not meet his eyes. He smiled. "I am scared, but I am going to see more, I will," he said and let her go. 
Wow she was not expecting that from him. He went from damn scared to hell I don't care who you are attitude. Volca gasped and turned back hiding her face. And he turned away to hide his smile. He had no idea what got into him. But he did it. And he did feel right about it. He walked back to the couch and settled down, one leg over the other, heroically. Emma did not like what had happened during their date, his mother getting involved in the middle. She did not even mind them nor pay respect to them. It was rude of her and she did notice the way Jiah reacted. She was not like how she was the first time while meeting with Jiah. She realized later. She had no idea what got into her but she was least interested in doing it at that time. "He is my boyfriend for God's sake, he is important, I should be good to him, loyal to him, faithful, since I have good intentions this time, I want him, I should respect his family so," she told herself. She fell on the bed on her back. But she got up at the same time. She walked back to the loving room and stood there looking at the sofa. She could see before what had happened couple of hours ago. She on the lap of Daniel. She smiled a little. And shook her hand, tapping her head. "Ani ani ani, I should be loyal, faithful," and coughed. "God those words sound weird to me and like alien," she laughed out loud. "Am going crazy," she turned around and hit her head against something hard. She rubbed her forehead and looked up wondering where such a things appeared that she did not have ther before. To her surprise it was not a thing. It was a person. She gasped. "You," she said.
"You kept thinking about me, so I could not help but drop in," he said and lifted her. She put her legs around his hips and arms around his neck. She kissed him this time again. And he was surprised but responded back. He deepened the kiss. It began to get steamy. He walked around the room and finally put her on top of the dining table and put his arms around her, pulling her even closer. She stopped for a moment. "No," she said. 
"What?" He asked in his hoarse voice. She looked at his face, his eyes, that searched her. She took a deep breath and shook her head. She failed to make a discussion. It was too tempting. She but her lips in confusion since she was getting addicted to this feeling Daniel gave her. She looked at him again. "Nothing," and he began to kiss her again. He was smiling. He knew well that he has confused her damn well and utilised the chance to get close with her. He lifted her again walked towards the sofa. He settled her down and sat next to her. They laughed at each other. He did not ask her anything, neither did she say anything. But her heart kept pounding loud. Her mind kept reminding her that he is a grim reaper not an angel, and she had no idea that he is actually a Demon in punishment for breaking a rule. Suddenly they heard something inside the room, falling down. She looked around and found a vase near the front door lying on the floor. Then he let her go.
He looked at her and raised his brows. Curving his lips, asking her what to do. 
"Let's watch something, I want to watch something," she said and turned the television on using her powers and put on the English series peaky blinders. 
"You like this?" He asked her.
"I love this show," she said. 
"Never knew you enjoy English series'" he said and leaned back. He put his arms around his shoulders, and she put her legs across his and sat there, her head resting on his chest. That's when he received a text from Volca. Daniel checked them immediately. 
"I might be in deep trouble Dan, you there?" It read.
"Yes tell me," he replied. 
He took his hands away and got up leaving Emma wonder. She looked at him. "What is it?" She asked him. But he did not answer her. He was assure that mentioning Volca's name would flip Emma out. Hence he hid it. 
"I have to leave," he said as he kept reading the messages and disappeared. Emma exhaled and looked at the television. She shook her head and leaned back on the sofa. She watched couple of episodes and turned them off. She touched her lips and blushed. At the same time, her brother called her. 
"Where are you?" He asked her.
"Home. What?" She asked back.
"Come out," he said. 
"What? Now?" She was surprised. 
"Yes," 
"Why?" She asked.
"Why should I come into the house where he is spending time with you," she then realised the her brother had caught her. She realised how the vase distracted and understood that it's her brother's doing. She flushed and ran outside.

Volca stood in front of the door knocking. It has been hard to realize the truth and find him. Ever since he left that way, she has been going through a hard time. "Are you there?" she called him. When she went to his office they informed that he is yet to join. She grew upset, and tensed. She desperately wanted to see him, tell him the truth. She cried, regretting her words. When he failed to open the door, she knelt down and touched the door, leaning her head against them. She didn't know he was on the other side doing the same. "Don't leave me," she said in the end. When she did, he immediately opened the door and took her in his arms carrying her into his condo. She remained silent, still crying, holding onto him, lying her head against his chest. She could smell the cologne on him as usual. 
He settled her down on the bed and looked at her. "Why did you take so long?" he asked her looking eagerly into her eyes.
"I was stupid and...." but before she completed, he moved his head face towards her, taking her lips on his. She gripped her tight on the bed spread while her heart exploded inside. He slowly deepened his kiss and got on top of her, pushing her back on the bed. He saw how tensed she looked but too precious at the same time, and he kissed her again. There was a mischief glistening in her eyes. And she turned him, getting on top. She smirked, tearing his clothes, and throwing them away exposing his ripped body. He was enjoying it. She leaned and locked her eyes with his. Both breathing hard." 

This novel is going to spin off of my first novel, On My Way: The Demon King Made Me His, I mean it takes place in the same universe but two different stories. The novel will here portray the true heart of a Demoness and her life, trying to find the things she was not assigned, and if you are hoping for some heart fluttering romance, mind swaying, emotional swirl and happy moments, You can definitely read this novel.
