"Was it good?" Lin Qiao looked at him and asked. The level-three zombie finished the piece of meat, then sucked his fingers. Hearing Lin Qiao's question, he nodded.
Lin Qiao nodded and said, "Good! Alright, you go over there and don't move."
Next, she turned to the other two zombies who had their hands washed, then waved at the level-four zombie and said, "It's your turn."
"Roar…" The level-four zombie made a step backward with fear. As Lin Qiao's expression turned a little cold, he carefully moved toward her. He understood that if the zombie boss lost her temper, he would be destroyed. However, the screams that the level-three zombie let out just now sounded so scary. He was really frightened!
Lin Qiao waited for him to come to her, then said to him expressionlessly, "Reach out your hand."
The level-four zombie reached out a hand.
Lin Qiao looked at that dirty hand and said, "The other one!" 
The level-four zombie hurriedly switched to the washed hand, then closed his eyes and turned his face away. He didn't even dare to look at Lin Qiao.
Lin Qiao grasped his hand, opened her mouth, and made a bite.
"Er… roar…" As same as the level-three zombie, the level-four burst in a loud roar. Meanwhile, he also released a cloud of cold mist. With that, the surrounding air temperature immediately dropped by twenty degrees.
The zombie had ice power, and his superpower erupted as he was bitten.
Lin Qiao made two steps backward, then raised a hand toward the zombie and crooked her fingers. Soon, she dispersed the cold mist before it turned into ice blocks.
"Roarrr…" The ice-powered zombie didn't even notice his exploding superpower. He bent his knees in pain and knelt on the ground, then pressed both hands on his chest and started twitching. 
Lin Qiao suppressed his superpower, then watched him kneel to the ground before rolling like the level-three zombie.
Half an hour later, the ice-powered zombie stopped moving. Soon, he opened his eyes and stood up.
Lin Qiao handed him a piece of meat and said, "Eat it!"
The ice-powered zombie had watched what just happened to the level-three zombie, but he was still confused. However, he automatically followed Lin Qiao's words.
After making the first bite of the roe deer meat, the zombie paused slightly. Then, he wore a surprised and puzzled look, like a child who had unexpectedly found some delicious snacks.
Lin Qiao turned and looked at the level-five female zombie, then told her to come over.
Seeing that the two who were bitten by their boss didn't seem to be harmed, the female zombie was slightly relieved. She was still scared, yet she was aware that she wouldn't die at the very least.
'As long as I don't need to die!' The female zombie thought, clearly less frightened than the last two zombies. She obediently walked to Lin Qiao and reached her washed hand even before the latter asked.
Lin Qiao glanced at her, then opened her mouth and made the bite. Soon, she relaxed her bite and stepped backward. 
After that, the female zombie burst in screams. As a raging fire rose from the zombie's body, she raised a hand to suppress the zombie's superpower.
All three zombies had been bitten by Lin Qiao. Suddenly, she felt as if she was doing some vampire ritual, which made the three zombies different from normal zombies. 
Before long, the female zombie woke up. Lin Qiao handed her the meat and watched her eat it quickly. After that, she turned and walked into the house. She went over to the kitchen and fetched a cup of water.
She needed to rinse her mouth! She had bitten four zombies and one human being today! She understood that no bacterial infection could happen, but she still felt very weird. 
When she came back, she saw that the three zombies were still standing there, their eyes fixed on the tray in Lu Tianyi's hands. There was no meat left in the tray though.
They seemed to still be hungry. Lin Qiao knew that the meat she gave them had aroused their hunger. So, she turned and said to Lu Tianyi, "Give them half of the roe deer."
Lu Tianyi promptly turned to do what she said.
Lin Qiao turned around, then looked at the three zombies and said to them, "You are different from the others now, so I'll give you names. I can't name you with numbers like how I named those back in the base. Let me think…"
She looked at the level-five female zombie, then at the two male ones, thinking about what names she should give them.
"What names do you prefer?" She thought for a moment, then found that she was too lazy to come up with three new names. So, she just asked the three zombies.
The original virus inside their bodies had been replaced by the virus from her. However, Lin Qiao knew that she had only changed their bodies, but didn't allow them to restore their memories or remember anything from their human lives.
However, they could now understand her words better than before.
"Roar?" The level-three zombie looked at Lin Qiao confusedly.
Lin Qiao nodded, "Song? Alright, I'll call you Song. One day, you might restore your memory and remember your real name."
She walked to the level-four zombie, then looked at him and asked, "What about you?"
The level-four zombie thought for a moment, then uttered a roar, "Roar…"
"Zhong?" Lin Qiao looked at him with a weird expression. 
"Roar…" The zombie corrected her with discontentment.
"Em… Cong?" Lin Qiao's expression became even weirder.
"Roar…" The level-four zombie started losing patience. That was not the word he had said. 
"Em… Chong, right? Alright, I get it, Chong," Lin Qiao nodded. Hearing her, the level-four ice-powered zombie nodded as well.
Then, Lin Qiao walked to the level-five, female zombie and asked her, "What's your name?"
The fire-powered, female zombie looked at Lin Qiao and hesitated briefly, then let out a gentle roar, "Roar… roar…"
"Jingyan? Em, great name! Alright, remember your names. When I call your names, you need to respond or I'll kick your asses," Lin Qiao clapped her hands as the three zombies all had gotten their names. She then looked at the others and saw that Lin Kui and Xie Dong were still watching aside.
Abruptly, she stared at Xie Dong and asked, "Do you want to have some meat?"
Xie Dong paused for a second, then figured out what she meant.
"As you just saw, my virus changed their body condition. Based on what happened to the first zombie that I bit, my virus won't bring any bad effects. You can't always live on my lake water, can you? I bet you desperately want some flavor in your mouth, right? Didn't you see how much he enjoyed the meat?"
While speaking, she pointed at Lu Tianyi who was coming out of the house with a large tray of meat.
Xie Dong didn't know how to respond. He wanted very much to admit that he did want some flavor in his mouth. Looking at the three zombies who now had names, he spent a few seconds thinking and then nodded.
They seriously enjoyed the meat just now. Was the meat really so good?


Lin Qiao remembers nothing from the past five years since the post-apocalyptic era began. She wakes up only to find herself having become a newborn, superpowered zombie, in a body that used to belong to an evil and notorious woman!

Having kidnapped a girl and raped her father, the previous host met her demise at the very hands of the conspiracies she courted all her life, leaving Lin Qiao no choice but to deal with the consequences while trying to figure out her own past and the fate of her loved ones. 

As for the little girl’s father, can’t he just have a decent fight? He’s a human being, but why is he biting a zombie? She’s the zombie! She’s the one who’s supposed to bite! 

Hua Yongzhi looked at Xiao Hua’s back, and then he looked at Chu Han.
It was a piece of cake for Chu Han to hunt a chicken. He was never short on food since the apocalypse’s escalation. Not to mention that he had forced Wangcai to trade a dimensional space, as a compensation for the wasted crystals, to store the Wrangler, Xiuluo axe, and food.
Noticing Xiao Hua’s reluctant expression, Wang Yan, and the slim monkey-like man’s reactions, he was pondering why would chickens be so rare?
"Have a sit!" Hua Yongzhi sat next to the desk passionately, and he gave a cup of tea to Chu Han. "I can’t explain why but since I met you, I got a good vibe from you. We should have a talk."
"Brother Hua, do you want to talk with me about the base?" Chu Han sat and asked. Hua Yongzhi was a rare individual as sincere people were almost extinct after the apocalypse.
Mentioning the base, Hua Yongzhi sighed helplessly, "You saw the people outside. They are a ticking time bomb. They do nothing but waiting for the distribution of food. Some of them are villagers, while some others are newcomers."
Chu Han looked at the tea and took a sip. "Are there any other superior individuals other than you six at the base?"
Hua Yongzhi’s eyes jumped, and he looked at Chu Han with surprise and uncertainty, but he still gave an honest answer, "The base has two leaders. One of them is called Qin Shou, and the other is Fan Jian, both of them are-"
‘Cough!’
Hua Yongzhi hadn’t finished talking when Chu Han started coughing. Wangcai hiding in the pocket covered its mouth with its long ears and tried to suppress its laughter.
What!?
Qin Shou? Fan Jian?[1]
Those two names sounded really ‘sophisticated’ placed together..
"Hehehe!" Hua Yongzhi laughed in embarrassment.
‘Cough!’
"Please continue." Chu Han hurried to suppress his laughter.
"Great." Hua Yongzhi recovered, and then continued, "Qin Shou is the actual leader, and we come from the same village. He’s the one who created the base while Fan Jian is a newcomer, but he is a leader too as his battle prowess is on par with Qin Shou. However, he doesn’t like managing other, and his style is more independent."
Chu Han nodded, "How about any others? How do you provide food?’
"Hunting or harvesting crops that grow easily-" Hua Yongzhi was about to say something but a deafening sound came from outside, which was probably a signal.
"Sh*t! Something happened!" Hua Yongzhi stood up. He took a weapon and then rushed out. "You should stay here!"
Xiao Hua ran out from the kitchen nervously, and she worriedly looked at Hua Yongzhi’s back. Chu Han stood up, drank the tea, and then he nodded at Xiao Hua before turning around.
Xiao Hua such a simple girl was stunned. Looking at Chu Han’s back, she thought he was similar to her fearless husband. Xiao Hua was so shocked because the people her husband interacted with were mostly cowards that wanted to hide in their houses.
The walls east of the base were the most solid and people paid most of their attention there as the base would be destroyed it those walls were to fall.
Presently, whoever could fight gathered from all directions, and the phase-1 evolutionaries headed east. There was an unusually high spot on the wall with several long ropes extending to the outer side, so that people could use them to get down and fight against zombies. 
By the time Chu Han arrived, there were already many gathered people. Most of the people anxiously ran around, and even a catapult was pushed on the wall. Although the first outside wall was far, Chu Han could still see the situation from a gap.
Zombies! There were countless zombies.
The wooden wall was shaking, and it was getting looser by the second. A group of zombies squeezed their way in while some people were shooting at them from the second wall, but to no avail as they were far from each other.
The first wall was almost destroyed!
An arrogant voice reverberated in Chu Han’s ears while he was observing, "Move away trash!"
A sharp glint flashed through Chu Han’s eyes. He turned back and looked at the voice’s source, it was Wang Yan.
Wang Yan, the slim monkey-like man and the three people he met in the afternoon, all held weapons.
"Stop blocking our path. If you’re scared, then go and pray at home!" The slim monkey-like man mocked, and he arrogantly passed by Chu Han.
Wang Yan and several other people followed, and they jumped on the high wall and went down the ropes. About a dozen phase-1 evolutionaries stood in the center of the two walls, along with Hua Yongzhi.
Everyone was surrounding a man with the largest weapon amongst them. He should be one of the leaders Hua Yongzhi had mentioned.
"Pull!" That man ordered.
‘Crash!’
Twenty people standing behind a huge rope started pulling together, and several logs in the center of the first wall gradually rose.
‘Roar’
The zombies outside the wall hurried to squeeze in as the logs were rising higher. Although not all zombies got in, there were still hundreds of them that succeeded.
"Kill!"Hua Yongzhi yelled, and he was the first man to rush out.
"Ah! My credits!" Chu Han sighed.
"Woo! Woo!" Suddenly suppressed crying sounds came from the back.
Chu Han turned back and saw Xiao Hua ceaselessly crying.
"What are you crying for?" Chu Han asked casually, "Is it useful to cry?"
"Shut up! Have you ever killed zombies? Do you know how dangerous zombies are? These zombies keep getting stronger, but you aren’t worried?!" A woman shouted at Chu Han, "Aunt Hua is anxious, but you’re so carefree. Zombies attack us occasionally, and they don’t care if it’s day or night. After every attack someone dies. Brother Hua was the first one to rush out, how dare you be so careless with your words?"
Chu Han looked at the hostile woman. She was almost the same age with Xiao Hua, and she comforted her.
"NO!" Suddenly the leader shouted loudly.
"What? What?" Xiao Hua was scared, so she ran to see what was happening.
 "Where is Fan Jian? Go and find him!" The leader sounded desperate, and what he said caused terror to everyone, "There are phase-2 zombies!"

One day, darkness enshrouded the world. 
According to the Meltdown theory, Earth’s magnetic field faced a change, and along with it, natural laws changed too. Though some laws related to physics could still be applied, a lot of scientific theories and laws had been overturned, prompting everyone to re-discover their underlying principles. Humanity’s scientific foundation was not the only one which faced changes; the field of genetics had transformed too. 
One of the biggest disasters brought by the magnetic field’s change was the zombification of more than 80% of the world’s population. 
After years of struggling, a few lucky survivors would evolve and awaken a hibernating power hidden in them. 
Chu Han was never that lucky…
While holding on against the first wave, humans weren't the only ones getting stronger. Soon, phase-1 zombies evolved into phase-2 then phase-3 and so on. 
Ten years after the mysterious meltdown, the world dominated by humans changed hands. Zombies were the new overlords, and humanity was facing extinction.
One day, Chu Han`s consciousness returned ten years before the end of the worlds. A loud noise awakened him in Minqiu University’s dormitory. With only one day to prepare before the Apocalypse’s outburst, he slowly realized that he had been reincarnated! 
Chu Han’s sudden reincarnation brought an unexpected power, which he hadn’t in his previous hellish world. To be more precise it wasn’t a power, but a system! The Meltdown System! 
Despite losing his monstrous strength gained through years of harsh training, Chu Han was confronted as the Meltdown System could grant him talents in exchange for credits, which he could get with every zombie he killed. 
This is a story about a world on the edge of ruins, the Meltdown System, and Chu Han, trying his best to save the people he could not save before.



The group walked through the rain, and because of the sound of the rain, the zombies were very confused, walking in all directions, and some on the streets were killed by the group.

Ryan: "Hm? Why are there so many here? "

Ryan asked as he looked forward to where the street was infested with zombies, there were at least 100 to 200 of them!

Ryan: "Do you want to clean or get around?"

In Ryan's question, everyone thought and decided that it was better to clean, because getting around would take a lot of time, not to mention that they cleaned the zombies behind them, so it would be easy for them to escape if there is a problem.

But as the group began waving their blades at the zombies, they noticed something interesting, that because of the rain, their hearing was very confusing, and even with Ryan and the others so close, the zombies could not react, and became easy points for Ryan.

And it has to be seen, that this is a large group of zombies, but even when their bodies fell to the ground, the other zombies did not notice.

And in less than half an hour, over 200 zombies were cleaned up!

Listening to Reika, the group did not care much and just told Reika that there would be an evacuation at the Third Shintoko Elementary School, and hearing this, Reika nodded and knowing that her husband might be there, she was happy.

She then went up to the barricade and told the information she got from her daughter and her group, just as Rei also went and shouted along, to inform them of where they got this information, but they did not receive any response, so the group of Ryan did not care about these people anymore and he left!

Soon, the rain stopped, and the zombies returned to normal!

And because of that, the group had trouble moving forward, and soon night came!

Listening to Shidou, all the young fanatics shouted excitedly, and some adults did the same, since they had been brainwashed by Shidou!

Shidou: "So folks, let's get our guns we got from the police station for 2 days, we'll go to war! We can not let the children into the government rubbish! We will be the saviors, and even if we die, we will be the heroes! "

Said Shidou, who did the crazed and distorted morale of all, get to the peak!

And some people who stayed healthy just sighed.

A branch had been build in the Pittsburgh area early on. As they slowly pushed their searching grounds further away, Anos and the group began to feel targetted. A tv played in the background as everyone gathered into the auditorium.
      The group had been indecisive about how to move forward. They didn't know how to reintegrate into society, specifically Anos and Zack. The trauma they had all gone through, the killing they all had to do in order to survive, it all seemed like they had gotten used to it.
           "They should offer therapy or some sort of help for everyone moving forward. I think Zack and I should get by as long as we conceal our eye. If we blame it on an injury that we got while fighting, they may not look into it much further." Anos said.
     "But we can't just leave you two and hope things play out!  Who know's what the Z.D.A will do, but if they got to you.... I'd feel responsible." Jessica stood up and added.
 The tv began to cut to a report on the Z.D.A.
           "As of today, an anonymous tip came in regarding 2 zombies."
      Anos and Zack's names and photos appeared on the screen. 
        "These 2 zombies who go by the names Anos and Zack are believed to be hiding within a group of survivors outside of the city. The Z.D.A. has sent a task force that's mission, is to eradicate the zombies."
     The building fell silent as from another side of the building, a door shattered and Z.D.A. agents moved in. Anos heard this and called for everyone to act normal.
        "Zack, come with me."
     Zack and Anos ran out the auditorium and into the hallways, as they tried to exit down the southeast hallway, Z.D.A members turned the corner and blocked their exit. They turned around and tried to move to the western side of the building. As they pushed through the doors, a pair of swords came down from both sides, slicing them both. Anos looked back and deployed his telum. The men tried to finish them off but where blocked, and had their swords launched away. Anos grabbed Zack with his telum and used the other limbs to push himself away into a jump, and continued to jump away.

Anos is enjoying his normal life, with his intensified sense of danger. But one day something happens that will push humanity to the brink of extinction

                 Underneath the city, in the train station, after the fight with the zombies and the decapitation of the Mummy. The group were helping each other. But something happened, not only was Emily affected by the ageing ability, but her powers were gone. She tried using her teleportation ability, but nothing would happen.
She was scared, the situation she was in, her friends, even Jill was being dragged down by a zombie who held onto her leg.

                 She tried using her teleportation ability to teleport near Jill, but it was no good. All she could do, was rely on her swordsmanship. She is a genius in sword principles, but her strength wasn't that good. After giving up the thought of using her ability, Emily slew a lot of zombies, but they keep getting back up, that was when Harley left their midst.
                 
                 She had gone after the mummy. Emily, now powerless and shot of breath, stabbed her sword to the ground and knelt down. She didn't realize that a zombies was already at her back. Soon after, something shocked the rest of the group. Emily had evolued. Her teleportation was just fast, but with the help of time, Emily had just broken into the supreme tier.  Not quite long ago, she couldn't teleport, but all of a sudden, she vanished, but was already behind the zombie. The scene, surprisingly shocked Col and the rest of the group. There has been no one who could say an ability evolued into another tier. It has never been done or seen.
                 
                 Immediately she appeared behind the zombie, she slashed it into pieces and passed out. She had already been tired and now, she had passed out. Jason who was next to her, had already copied the new ability. When Emily passed out, he teleported to her side, to keep her safe from the zombie attack. But, as soon has she passed out, he lost his power. All he had was a 2.1 common tier strength.
                 
               Jason, he had a special ability, he could view a person's aura and it's potentials, then he copies it and he would also have the person's abilities, just has long has they are being used, a aura copy cat can have a person's ability. But a 7.8 surpreme tiers person can amplify the ability and even see it without the person using or activating it. Being busy, protecting himself and Emily who was quietly taking a nap, regaining her strength. Jason was worn out. They didn't want to kill the zombies, because they were still people, Innocent people. Soon, Charlie was lying down unconsciously as a lioness. When Jason saw this, he yelled for Col and James to help, but the two guys were busy fighting with the zombies with the real zombies, in the deep dark dusty tunnel ahead of him. Blood was slatted everywhere, on the floor, the walls even their faces were covered and decorated with thick blood. 
               
               Jason was distracted, and a zombie hit him with an iron pipe. Jason fell down and was unconscious immediately. Col and James head back to protect the others, since they were the strongest in the group.

               Outside the tunnels, the group were relaxing on the subway station sits when Jill jumped and said smiling.
              "So, guys what should we call these group?" Jill said, putting some comics in her bag.
              "We are not super heroes dear." James smirked.
              "Why not? We are all powerful, or is it because you're a cop." Jill grumbled.

               BOOM! BOOM!! BOOM!!! 
               A loud booming noise was coming from the other end of the tunnel. The gang all turned their heads to the location, where the sound was coming from. Growling sounds could be heard. Jill frowned her face and stamped her feet on the ground, draw her now from her bag pack, she picked five arrows and aimed for the dark tunnel. The others did not waste time also, they had also equip themselves with their weapons.
               
               "Where the hell did these guys come from?" Jill asked, aiming her arrows to the direction of the tunnel.
               "You just said it girl, HELL!" James said pointing his guns to the same direction.
               "Hm... I think I'm gonna like you." Jill said looking at James expression.

                While, the gang were laughing and smiling. A beam of hot light filled the tunnel.
                SLASH! SLASH!! SLASH!!!

                Ha! Sorry about that, some dead bodies keep waking up. A slim bony, cute snowy haired lady said looking at James, who was having a happy face. There were some signs of tears in his eye. The other didn't know what was happening, all they could do just stand there and watch.
                
                "Hello James, it's been a long time." She said walking up to James for a hug.
                "Oh! Kate, I've missed you so much." James said emotionally. "How have you been?"
                
                "Well, I'm fine. By the way, this is Jimmy and John. Our brothers." Kate said, introducing the two male figure standing beside her like a body guard.
The two men wore black suit and a tie, they acted like professional assassin's, but Jimmy, is a Playboy, while John, is a business man by day and a vigilante at night.

                Hearing their names, Col checked his locator device and found out that the people standing in front of him, were his elder siblings. 
                
                 Kate? Jimmy? John? Col called their names and looked at the pictures, his father gave him in disbelief.
                 
                "James, who are they?" Kate asked, using her eyes to point to Col's direction.
                
                "Well, This is Col, and this is Jason, they are our brothers". James said, without hesitation.
                
                "Brothers?" Jimmy and John said.

That was the last message Melissa spoke over the radio, before it went out of range.


Chai stood up after rolling down from the Range Rover that was going at 80 km/h. 


It took him a few moments to get back his stability, and he began running clumsily towards the Fire Station.


SMASH!


ROAAAR!


SQUAAKK!


Tens of zombies inside the building were attracted by the unknown person breaking the window.


Shrieks and howls came from every corner of the building's windows and doors.


"HEY!! GRAB MY HANDS!" (Zack)


The person looked at him with a flabbergasted look, and tried the hardest to reach him.


It wasn't easy hanging on a ledge with one hand, and reaching out with the other.


'Almost…there…' (Zack)


"Ah".


The person's hand slipped!


Instinctually, Zack let go of the wall he was gripping, and dived straight to the person.


The fall felt like an eternity.


Although free-falling from three stories up only lasts a few moments, but it certainly felt long for Zack and person he's trying to save.


It might be the adrenaline, or his super-powered brain processing information at a high speed, but he could see every single details on that person's face.


Dark, auburn hair.


Fair, pale complexion with hints of freckles across her nose bridge.


Naturally-sculpted auburn eyebrows.


Deep, blue eyes with miniscule tints of hazel.


Perfectly oval face that accentuates one's femininity.

"ZAAAAAAAAACK!" 


Just a few meters away, Chai screamed. 


Seeing his best friend falling down to bloodthirsty zombies waiting on the ground floor made his adrenaline kicked in.


He ran faster and faster.


"These sons of b*tches-"


He launched himself into the air.


SPLAT!


KA-BASH! 


DOOF! DOOF! DUSH!!


Chai's first attack was a flying kick, leveraging the momentum he produced by jumping.


It sent three zombies' bodies splattered and stacked on the wall!


"Wachaa!" 


He threw a right straight directly onto the nicely aligned zombie heads. The punch smashed through them as if he was punching watermelons!


"Watoo!!"


Instinctively, he created a one-meter radius by roundhouse-kicking the tens of zombies swarming him.


The force generated was so strong that some zombie's neck got twisted in abnormal angles!


"Heeyak!"


Chai gracefully executed the [Kame School Martials Arts] kung-fu moves.


Flesh-hungry creatures rushed in towards him, all 360°.


"Humph. Know your places!" 


With a flick of an arm, Chai made the zombies crashed into each other by directing their charging forces. 


Calmly dodging and side-stepping the incoming attacks, the turned the masses of zombies into a ball of living corpses who got their hands stuck with each other.


Ever since the skill got upgraded into the second level, his combat ability risen exponentially.


'Crazy. Is this really me? It feels like me…and not me at the same time.'

 
'F*ck all that! I'm lovin' this!'


"A-tatatatatatatatatatatatah!"


His fists moved tremendously fast that they blurred. Heads upon heads of zombies were smashed into pulp.


While Chai was busy 'playing' with the zombies, a loud 'BOOM' sounded a few inches behind him.


Falling down from ten meters above ground level, two figures laid down still on the yard space between the building and the metal fence.


Zack landed on his back as a result of losing his focus. 


Opening up his eyes, he realized that he was hugging a woman.


"H-hey, miss…are you alright?" (Zack)


There was no response.


Zack could only felt her trembling body on top of him. 


'She must be scared sh*tless.' (Zack)


When he regained full control of his senses, he realized the softness of her body.


Her sweet but sweaty smell pervaded his nose.


Looking downwards, he could see her head buried in his chest. 


Wearing a thin, dirty tattered dress, Zack's skin could feel the contours of her body. This made him cursed his [Super Senses] skill for giving him a super-sensitive sense of touch.


A shadow loomed over his face. 


Slowly, the shadow revealed itself.


"Motherf*cker, sleeping comfortably with a bolster while I finish off the walkers? The gall!"
 

It was Chai!


A big smile appeared on Zack's face. He was relieved to see his best friend, especially in this kind of situation.


Extending out his right hand, Zack grabbed it and Chai pulled him up.

 
"Who dis?" (Chai)


He pointed at the trembling girl hugging Zack. 


Zack helplessly shrugged.


'Ground's rumbling.'


Zack could feel the wave of steps coming to his direction.


He looked at his best friend.


As if telepathically linked, Chai knew exactly what Zack is thinking.


"Hey! Me and him are gonna go North! You comin'?" (Chai)


The woman snapped out of her trembling, and suddenly looking around the area.


"DANNY! DANNYYYYY! OH MY GOD, DANNYYYYY!!!" 


She screamed while running towards to the ground floor's window.


She tried to scale the window and climbed back up to the top floor.


"DANNY! DANNY!!!! PLEASE!! PLEASE!!!!!"


Her frail figure could not muster enough energy to climb up. She stumbled down on her rear.


*hic* "Danny…Danny…." *sniff*


Liquid dripped down her pale cheeks. She sobbed and called out the name endlessly.


While dejectedly kneeling down, two handsome youths came into her view.


As she was about to open her mouth, roars and howls entered her ears. Her pupils stated to dilate and her heart rate raised up.


Chai squatted down, and looked at her eyes.


"As much as I like to smack those things sh*tless, you'll be in the way." (Chai)


Puzzled by his words, she felt her entire body lifted up and positioned on a person's shoulder.


"Miss! We'll talk later when we're at a safe place!" (Zack)


With her head on Zack's back, she felt her legs and rear being clutched by a man's arms.


"H-hey! What are you doing!! Let Me Go!!! HEELLLLLLPPPPP!!!" 


She trashed and struggled, but to no avail. The man holding her was too strong.


CREAAAAAAKKKKK.


"BRO, LET'S GO!!" (Chai)


Three humans started moving out from the metal fences of the Fire Station.


Zack ran out first, and the woman kept struggling and screaming.


And then, she got slapped out of the sudden.


When she looked up, it was an ethereal man with a stunning visual. 


"I swear, if you scream one more time, I'll break your neck like that steel bars behind us." (Chai)


She traced her eyes back to the metal fence where they came from, and the bars were bent almost 45°.


'W-What? Them too?'


She kept her mouth shut along afterwards during their escape.

Catching their breath, Zack and Chai slumped down against a wall.


The first batch of horde appeared on the way North, which heads to the Air Force Base.


They ran far East until they saw a small power substation.


It was surrounded by a grey-two meter brick wall with blue metal spikes laced on top.


The climbed up the gate and broke into the 1,500 square feet building which housed the power substation.


"God dam*, I'm so hungry after that work out." (Chai)


"Is food the only thing in your head right now?" (Zack)


They playfully argued back and forth.


Curling up her body in the corner, the woman that Zack saved looked at them cautiously.


'It can't be that they saved me out of goodwill, right?'


"How much you got? I brought like, too little." (Chai). He showed Zack a few protein bars, candies and chocolates.


He brought the snacks together during the 'Distraction Mission' in case he got hungry.


"Me too. Just for some light eating. How's your water?" (Zack)


They shook their black military canteen. They could roughly have enough for a day.


Glub. Glub.


The duo drank their water heartily. They finally had the time to cool down.


Glancing at the woman, Zack heard her gulping.


"Miss, you should have some." (Zack)


He walked towards her. Out of nowhere, she started scream off warnings like a cat that got its tail stepped.


Putting his hands up, he gestured that he meant no harm.


He placed the canteen on the ground, and slid it over to her direction.


Still staring at the men warily, she slowly took the bottle with her eyes locked onto them all the way until she opens the lid and start drinking.


"Ah-hey! You idiot! HEY!" (Chai). He got shocked seeing her gulping down the whole canteen in just a matter of seconds.


'She must've been dehydrated.' (Zack)


"Great job, bolster. Now we'll have to find more. Sheesh, Zack, ya should've told her to just take a sip, not chug it like we're in a drinking competition!" (Chai)


Shaking his head, Chai opens up a chocolate bar.


Unconsciously, the woman started to drool looking at Chai eating.


Zack giggled at her, and offered up some of his food.


"I-I won't be tricked! I won't trade my body for any of it! I'd rather die!!"


She curled and hugged her body back into a corner. Her eyes screamed resolved, but her body said otherwise.


*Grumble grumble grumble*


Her stomach's rumbling was quite loud that both Zack and Chai heard it.


With a smile, Zack threw a candy bar and landed near her.


"But isn't it nice to share our food with others?" (Zack)


She looked at him with an estranged expression.


'Nobody would be this idiotic to give up their food. What does he want? What is he up to?'


After staring at the candy bar for several seconds, her hands quickly grabbed it and tore the wrapper away.


"Haha bro, look at her looking at you. She must be thinking you're an idiot." (Chai)


Zack helplessly looked at his best friend.


The candy was gone a blink of an eye. She has been hungry for more than a day.


While talking about their next moves, a cold feminine voice interrupted them.


"What do you men want?" 


"Sigh. What a 'mannerly' child. Oh, and you're dearrrrrrrrrrrrly welcomed for the free food and water!" (Chai). 


"Okay that's enough, bro. Hi, I'm Zack. Me and Chai here were on our way to the Air Force base up ahead." (Zack)


She was silent for a few moments.


"My name is Jen."


"Jen, the only thing that me and my buddy here wants is to find a way to quickly board a plane. Our other teammates are waiting at the base, so to speak." (Zack)


He inquired her if anybody from the army came to rescue them.


"Nobody came! The firemen said that help was going come, but they lied! If somebody came to get us out…then, Danny…he..he.." (Jen)


Tears stated to gush out from her watery eyes.


She told them that when the event happened, she was at the movies with her fiancé. They thought the screams and panic they heard outside the cinema were the people from the horror movie hall.


Miraculously, they escaped with their life. They killed a few zombies along the way.


When they ended up at the Fire Station, they were taken in by the firemen.


The firemen tried to calm the situation down, but they could not handle three to four hundred starving people.


Without any positive response from the higher authorities, they decided to take the Fire Trucks to get help from the Air Force base up north.


That was when all hell broke loose.


"Somebody told the others that the Firemen were going to leave us, and the whole Station panicked." (Jen)


They started fighting among each other on who gets to follow the firemen.


In the end, a group of cunning people worked with a gang of hooligans to escape with the Fire Trucks.


They held the firemen who knew how to drive the trucks at knife-point.


'They might've survived if they worked together.' (Zack)


After the society scums took away two Fire Trucks and escaped successfully, a group of civilians rised to the occasion.


They bantered and threw tantrums towards the remaining Firemen. They wanted them to drive them to the safety of the Air Force base.


The ruckus made by the people on the ground floor attracted the nearby zombies.


Panic ensued and all hell broke loose. 


The only remaining Firetruck was frantically driven by some untrained madman and crashed the Station's front gates, breaching the barricades.


"We were placed at the top floor. When the zombies came in, we had time to find a place to hide ourselves." (Jen)


Hordes upon hordes of zombies began invading the Station.


The survivors like Jen had to endure thirst, pain and hunger for almost 24 hours. It was a day later, that a beguiling phenomenon happened.


"Out of nowhere, we heard a song. We felt from the zombies outside started moving, then after a while…they were gone!" (Jen)


She and her fiancé slowly crept out of their room. Seeing that the corridor was clear, they were going to make a break for it.


"And then that bast*rd pervert got into our way." (Jen)


Her eyes shone with vengeance. Her furious expression tells it all.


Jen's exceptional beauty did not go unnoticed. Her exquisite face, her unique hair…and her ravishing body has gotten a few men lusting over her.


The only thing stopping them from her was her big-built fiancé. 


"Danny fought him, but he was weird. He looked like a weak fat person, but his strength…he was stronger than my fiancé." (Jen)


"When the fat guy ran out of energy, he kicked open a door and zombies came out!" (Jen)


The despicable man set up a trap for the couple, she said he screamed: "If I can't f*ck you, nobody can! Go f*cking die with him!"


CRACK!


Startled by the loud noise, Zack and Jen looked at Chai.


Chai punched a hole on the ground.


"F*cking fatso! Jenny! If we ever meet him again, let me at 'em!" (Chai). He pounded his fist to his palm in anger.


"What happened afterwards?" (Zack)


"We ran. We ran back up, and the zombies chased us. We were at a dead-end once we reached the top floor." (Jen)


Melancholy flooded her heart.


The last thing she saw was her fiancé smiling at her. 


While holding off the zombies with his body, he endured the pain of his flesh getting bit to give Jen time.


The last words from his lips would forever be etched in her memories.


'I Love You'


Upon reciting that, Danny fell down as the zombies swarmed his delicious human body.


"By the time I came to sense, I was down on the ground. When Danny died, something deep inside my mind came out and I could feel the world shook." (Jen)


"I realized the floor, the walls, the window were…destroyed. Like something blasted it." (Jen)


"I figured I'd jump out and die…since Danny is dead. But my hands…they kept me alive. I small part of me wanted to live. I wanted to continue living. For Danny's sake." (Jen)


She wipes away her uncontrollable tears. 


"Jen, you said that you felt something came out and suddenly things around you got destroyed." (Zack)


She nodded.


"Did you had a robotic voice spoke to you in your head, after the first creepy-voiced announcement?" (Zack)


"I…can't remember." (Jen)


Looking at her curiously, Zack took out a Space Grey iPhone X he used earlier today.


As if he has been waiting for this day to come, he handed her the cellphone.


She saw a list of names.


"Jen, I won't ask for anything else in return for the food and water. I just need you to read the names on this list, one by one. Tell me if something happened." (Zack)


'They seem…okay. It's just reading a list, I'll just entertain him a little.' (Jen)

I survived but it's not a good thing though. I was captured by the government and was used as a test subject.

That's all I remember before the excident
Now I'm trying to survive the xero virus outbreak and I am accompanied by a group of friends. we call ourselves the survivors.
We survived the excident but we were exposed to the chemicals used by the government .The chemicals altered our DNA and now we have super powers.

My powers are manipulation it means I can use other powers and my name is X . I'm also trained in combat.
My friend blaze has fire powers and his tween brother frost has ice powers. and we also have 2 girls in our group one of them is blazes girlfriend gloss with telekinetic powers and theres also light with the power to manipulate light.we gave ourselves this names as we don't remember our real names.

You must be wandering what i mean by excident and being captured by the government well the virus outbreak turned most of the worlds population into mindless zombies but for some people between the ages of 10 and 23 were not affected by the virus that's why the government experimented on us when one day a explosion happened and those who didn't die got powers as of now i have no clear explanation why we got powers but its a good thing as the zombies are very fast very smart and very strong so the powers only helped make surviving easier.

we are currently hiding in an abandoned mall it is safe for now though we are running out of supplies so we would need to find a new home.
