After struggling to try to sleep and forget about her father's shadow and the troubles that had been going through her mind last night, Lisa left with a sluggish body to the tax office the next day. 
 
Today, Lisa asked permission to be a little late to the office to solve one of her many problems in life. She didn't have time to shower this morning. She only wore as much perfume as she could to cover up the unpleasant smell that stuck to her body. Her hair was simply tied back in an improper manner, leaving a few strands of hair hanging unkempt at her shoulders. She looked like a tramp at least by Lisa's standards of tidiness. 
 
Before she ordered an online motorcycle taxi, her mother advised her to immediately find information about new housing. Her mother's plan to sell the cursed house was no joke. It was a harsh reality that they could not survive just by depending on Lisa's salary. The house was one of the luxuries that they must be sacrificed.  
 
About an hour's drive from her house, Lisa arrived at the tax office. Like any tax office, the building looked very outdated. Many of the furniture was not maintained. Although part of the building's exterior had been restored, there were still remains of a less modern design style. 
 
The queue at the counter that morning was quite busy. Lisa took the queue number at the automatic machine near the entrance. After that, she looked for an empty seat near the payment counter. 
 
While waiting for her turn to be summoned, Lisa looked straight at the clock in the middle of the room from time to time. The clock was ticking constantly. It felt like waiting in line at the tax office was very boring. Lisa could be absent again from her job if the queues hadn't subsided by 12 at noon! 
 
Sitting on the very uncomfortable waiting chair for a long time, suddenly the figure of a middle-aged man with thin cheeks and an unkempt appearance appeared in Lisa's mind. That figure had been raging since yesterday. The figure of the father who has the heart to leave Lisa and her family alone. Lisa still couldn't forgive her father who often abused her mother. Even though the man was now married to a wealthy woman, for some reason the bastard still visited her house just to hurt her mother when Lisa was not home. 
 
Lisa gripped the queue ticket tightly, she vented her anger at the piece of paper. She closed her eyes, trying to calm herself. She did not want the whole office to see her furious for no reason. Lisa wished she could help her mother get out of the torture of that irresponsible jerk. Maybe her mother would be calmer and her illness would not get worse. 
 
After almost two hours of sitting in that very uncomfortable metal chair, Lisa was finally called to the payment counter. Lisa got up from the damn iron chair and walked towards the checkout counter. The sound of her high heels echoed throughout the room. Visitors to the tax office occasionally gave her an unpleasant look. Still, the figure of a beautiful woman clad in a white blazer looked luxurious in a group of commoners who looked unusual. Some looked at her with the corner of the eye. There were also those who didn't care about her existence. 
 
Lisa handed over the envelope along with the tax fine to the counter clerk. The clerk did not look at her face or say hello. He reached for the brown envelope nonchalantly.  
 
The counter clerk took the money out of the brown envelope and counted it. Files submitted were also read quickly. "Oh miss, how come rich people are late in paying taxes, right?" Said the counter clerk in a condescending tone. 
 
Lisa tried not to reprimand the unprofessional attitude of the middle-aged woman in front of her. She just replied with a grunt. It was useless arguing with people like that, she thought. She took a deep breath to calm herself. What an unpleasant morning! 
 
The counter clerk gave the full receipt to Lisa, again without a thank you. Lisa then took it nonchalantly and put it in her tote bag. The woman then immediately rushed out of the ancient building.  
 
While waiting in front of the tax office, Lisa ordered an online motorcycle taxi from her cellphone. She was too tired to sit down so she preferred to stand alone. Occasionally, she turned her head, looking around while waiting for her vehicle to arrive. 
 
Lisa unexpectedly saw the figure of her father walking towards the entrance of the tax office. The man looked very disheveled. She thought that even though her father was remarried to a wealthy woman and lived in real estate, he still looked like crap. Maybe if the man was walking with his wife, people would think that the man was the driver.  
 
Lisa's heart was beating faster and faster. The anger that she had been suppressing was raging again. She didn't want to make a fuss at the tax office with her father. Lisa then ran from where she was standing. Avoiding the man from running into her.  
 
"Why do I have to meet that guy again!? What is he doing at the tax office!?" She muttered to herself.  
 
Lisa looked for shelter in the tax office parking area from the scorching sun. While she was waiting for the online motorcycle taxi she ordered to arrive, she returned to thinking about the house her mother was going to sell.  
 
Today, she must immediately seek information about cheap housing to move. Lisa had run out of options for whom to ask about property. Andien might be able to help her find a new house but that was not Andien's forte. 
 
Dimas was actually the most reliable when it came to moving house. This man had many acquaintances, but with his increasingly busy work schedule and pregnancy, Lisa was a little difficult to meet Dimas. There was no way she came to visit the Sky Lounge just to meet Dimas. Not to mention that she was pregnant right now, she was afraid that the bottles of alcohol on the bar would tempt her and drove her to a hangover just like two months ago.
 
"Excuse me, Sis Lisa?" Asked the motorcyclist who happened to stop in front of Lisa. The man's voice broke the silence that enveloped Lisa. 
 
The woman nodded while matching the name and number plate of the motorcyclist who was talking to her. Her booked online motorcycle taxi had arrived.  
 
"According to the application, Sis?" The driver asked politely and smiled pleasantly.
 
Lisa nodded in agreement. The motorcycle taxi driver handed Lisa a helmet and she immediately put it on. They sped toward the Petersson Communications office.

“You bastard! Because of your behavior now I'm getting drunk!"

After broke up with her previous boyfriend who had runaway with her all moneys, Lisa, an employee at a multinational company, had to fight tooth and nail to support her sick mother and her sister who was still in college.

Fed up with endless life and sad financial conditions, Lisa decides to have a one night love affair with a handsome man of European descent who turns out to be her own boss, a CEO at the company where she works.

For the sake of dwindling savings and the scorn of those who make fun of her, Lisa was forced to be willing to satisfy the CEO's wild appetite. Even Lisa began to think about agreeing to give herself up to be the wife of a wild man in order to maintain the financial stability of her family's life.

What kind of marriage would Lisa have living with a wild CEO who never stops toying with her body? What did the CEO mean to ask Lisa to marry him? Is it just to satisfy his fantasy? Or…

The rabbit's beady red eyes followed Arthur silently. It just stood there in the store quietly until it spotted the Book of Thoth that sat on the counter. Then, its ears perked up and it started to make its move.
Arthur stood behind the counter and was about to flip the Book of Thoth open to check on possible update when a ball of white flashed before his eyes. He jumped back from the sudden fright and when he came to, Arthur saw the rabbit sitting on the counter, putting its weight on the Book of Thoth.
Arthur was impressed by the strength in the creature's hind legs, he did not even know rabbit could jump that high. He wondered if that was possible for all common rabbits or specific only to mythical ones. 
He went back to the counter and try to reason to the rabbit, "Hey, can you please move away? I'm just trying to help you. I'm not going to harm you."
Arthur tried his best to ease the rabbit away from the book but it was to no avail. 'The rabbit was being so obedient earlier so why did it suddenly become so stubborn?' the young man asked himself. The rabbit refused to budge, if Arthur wanted to take the Book of Thoth back, he had to take it back by force but he did not want to harm the poor creature. 
While Arthur was contemplating what to do, he realized the rabbit was not sitting on the book idly. It had maintained a similar pose since the beginning, the rabbit kept both of its front paws on the crescent icon that was imprinted on the cover of the Book of Thoth. 
It was then that it hit Arthur, the rabbit was probably doing this on purpose. It was trying to tell the young man something!
Arthur tapped his chin as he tried to connect the dots. He uttered his speculation out loud so the rabbit could confirm whether his train of thought was going the right way or not, "There has to be a reason you're doing this and I don't think you're that concerned about the book."
The rabbit nodded. 
"In that case, you're referring to the symbol, the crescent. Is the crescent of any significance to you?" Arthur asked. The rabbit nodded. 
"Good, this is going nicely. Okay, does the shape of the moon play any part? Must it be a crescent?" The rabbit shook its head. "So, just the moon in general." 
Arthur was reminded of the weird phenomenon that he observed earlier outside the Midnight Emporium. As preposterous as the question sounded in his mind, the young man asked, "Are you the moon?"
The rabbit looked at Arthur with its head titled to the side like it was staring at a dumb person before shaking its head vehemently. 
An embarrassed Arthur chuckled to himself. "Of course, you're not. What was I thinking?" After the awkwardness tided over, Arthur continued, "If you're not the moon, then you have to be related to the moon?"
The rabbit nodded. 
"So... A moon rabbit. That sounds mythical enough." Arthur told the rabbit to wait as he took out his phone. "Let me see if I can find anything online about that." 
The search result came back more conclusive than the young man anticipated. He read the result aloud. 
"The moon rabbit is a character from Asian folklore. The mythos originated from China before spreading to other Asian countries. Also known as the Jade Rabbit, it is often described as a pet companion to the Moon Fairy who resided in a palace on the moon."
By then, the rabbit was hopping up and down the counter. It was safe to say Arthur was right. However, to be safe, he asked, "So I take it you're the Jade Rabbit?"
The rabbit nodded in quick succession. "But what could you be looking for? Let me see if the internet can provide me with more information."
Arthur scrolled down the online article and continued to read. 
"In these folklore, the Jade Rabbit is commonly depicted as holding a mortar and pestle, pounding medicinal pills and elixir for its mistress. Wait a minute..." Arthur thought back to the game of charade they were playing earlier and things became startlingly clear. "You're looking for your missing mortar and pestle!"
The rabbit nodded in affirmation. Finally, they were making some real progress but another question from Arthur stopped that progress right in its tracks, "Then, do you have any idea where your mortar and pestle currently is?" 
The rabbit hung its head as if in shame. 
"So you have no idea where it is either, huh?" Arthur thought about using the internet but he doubted he could find such specific information online. His next available option was the Book of Thoth but the book had proven to be less reliable than the internet time and time again so Arthur believed it would not be any different this time. 
Arthur leaned against the counter in thought. According to Chinese folklore, the Jade Rabbit uses its mortar and pestle to make elixir of life that can cure all illnesses and even grant immortality. 
'Wait a minute, I've heard that similar story line quite some time ago!' Arthur used the internet to log onto the satellite map. He looked for Armana's Third Street and changed into street view. 
He turned the screen to face the Jade Rabbit as he panned down the street. "Does any of these building mean anything to you?" Arthur asked. 
The Jade Rabbit was confused by Arthur's gesture but it looked patiently at the phone screen as the scenery changed. When the view reached the end of the block, the Jade Rabbit suddenly perked its ears up. 
It pointed its furry paw at the abandoned double-story building repeatedly. Arthur turned the screen back to himself. "This does look like the place those young men were describing... Are you sure this is where we might find your mortar and pestle?" Arthur looked up from the phone and there was only Book of Thoth sitting on the counter.

Officially stopping the book to rewrite it into "the Disciple of Aoide", a similarly-themed book that is more WN style.

The morning was slow for Juray. He difficulty washed up and got prepared. Taking his bag one thing was disturbing, that team he joined yesterday, Captain Zekai, The Great Champion and his elite members. He, as a weakling joined this team and made a big mistake.

If anyone else saw this party with his level character in it, there could have been a risk of losing Ivy Mist team 's ranking of population or problems could have created for him.

Since Common teams are very high rank party and takes part in many of Minus Zero Competition and League, they were high chances of spires to enter them or watch them. The other team members of common groups, medium guilds with great guilds all could do anything related to spying which mostly ended up in great conflicts. These high parties used ordinary character or low level players to do their dirty work in exchange of any items, weapon, armor or rare credits. 
Since this was an online game any part could be played. Even inside such a great online game security measures were also a priority however, human brains are far from limits, including a normal player too. He, any ordinary player, would also have a cannon to break through the walls of iron in order to fulfill his desire. 
Thus, if a matter grew out of limit, Minus Zero security and community would have no choice but to erase the character completely off the database not caring if he's guilty or not. Such were the situation occurring around. 


Juray offed the light and went out. While walking through the corridor he was lost in his thoughts worried maybe some problems might create and he might lose Cecil forever. As getting out and entering the yellow bright station, the morning counter man greeted him with wishing him good luck for his university. As getting out, looking up at the six balcony as expected he was there. 
Yu-say with his cup, smiling at him and weaved. Returning the weave Juray walked on to the path of studies. 


When the sun was over head, Juray returned back. Arriving near the station, surprisingly Yu-say was at the opposite side preparing to cross the road. The boy waited till the other person met at one spot. 
"Ah! Juray!...." surprised his fellow "you are here but....." he noticed him tired and weak. 
Obviously for a player like Yu-say he would understand this guy was feeling regret about the previous night. He smiled taking out from his pocket a lollypop and said unpacking it "let's go inside. Soon your job will start".


At 1:30pm, the crowd increased in the station. The morning counter man couldn't leave so easily he was extreme busy in running upstairs, down hall, left and right. There was no stop and the man wished it should be over soon with the shift.
In this station, one employer couldn't take or interrupt in another's work until his time arrives. The boss's rule was one should give all his strength and energy in his own work rather than trusting others. Then only there will be a value of hardship and paying. But in case of any incident or health point two extra employers were registered to come and do his duration, instead of the next shifter taking his place plus, work further hours on his own timing too. 
While Juray arrived at the counter, preparing for his timing, climbing behind the counter, the night shifter was standing near the counter enjoying his third lollypop, he said "hey, Juray I was thinking let's take a break tonight...".

"What?" surprised the boy behind the counter "we won't play tonight... but, I am fine".


"I know..." he turned to him leaning on the table, supporting his elbows on the surface and placing his palms under his chin, with it chewing his lollypop "but the class will start tomorrow and you will get more people to face than more to learn. So, I suggest you should rest well before we start...".


He was right. Juray was tired due to late bed timing even thou, he didn't have problem in waking up no matter he slept in due of bird or dogs. He was disturbed by knowing the identity of the team that accompanied him yesterday and couldn't even nap well. 

Yu-say was good at noticing such things that's why he offered a break from the game to have fresh mind. When Juray asked about the mission, it was blue rose, remaining him he HAS to be on time at once to attend it. However, Yu-say smiled and answered relaxed, 
"The timing is in Long shooters hands. If I go online the timing will start. So let's say I won't play too... Got it?"

 Blue rose had only two characters in it Cecil with Long shooter and two players working side by Juray and Yu-say.
So, it was clear for both they didn't have any problems of worries who will go online or who will be offline. Both were at same place, same spot, same area, same timing and together. Thinking about it a smile stretched in Juray's lips.


 Just as a side question away from games he asked "you are so attracted to the lollypop that even when it's in your mouth you still can be heard clearly" adding there wasn't any disturbance in his sound either. 

The tall boy stood straight and said "I am been eating this sweet for quite long... I am use to it.... Wanna have?" he offered him another, taking it out of his pocket. Juray just shook smiling. 


In the afternoon, Juray took the shift and began whereas, the man was finally relief and ran away. Like always, bit in double quantity, the employer had to work in the counter registering, attending the calls of other customers needing help and helping around in the system.
Whereas, Yu-say was only roaming around empty, with his hands in his pocket and lollypop in the mouth. He sometimes went to the upper floors watching there and sometimes stood where Juray would be working and watched. 

Nothing was boring around, a person would always get something to do to spend time with.

 Like wise, Yu-say opened the counter drawer as he remembered there were two guide books, one of Minus Zero, the other of Dimensional Gate and began to reading the second guide. 

After few minutes, Juray returned to get some needing and surprisingly found him in the seat, lacking while reading the guide. 
"Ah! you are reading?..." he saw the book's back cover and recognized it cause he's always use to it's delivery but, the question was why was he reading a book about a game different than his own usual game. 
Yu-say didn't reply but kept reading attentively that brought a smile in him. He's a strange character person who was difficult for Juray to understand. The employer picked up a pen and left.


Among the crowd while Juray was working he heard "JURAY" a call. He saw Yamato weaving at him in the side. 
"Ah! it's Yamato...." and went to him.

Yamato was a classmate of Juray arising in the same university but studying in different group. Like Juray was studying computer engineering whereas, Yamato with his brother were studying business and accounting. Yet, all three knew each other well through the game Minus Zero. The two twins were very interested in combat skills and fighting action which was why they choose Twin star dragons to fulfill their flavor. 
As the two mates met, Yamato said "you look quite busy now-a-days. Is everything alright?"


"Yeah, nothing to worry. Just attention got a lot here" his friend replied.


"Well, you seem so busy so I won't take much time of yours but, I wanted to tell you two things" spoke Yamato. His friend was all ears. 
He told him a special event of Minus Zero will soon began so he wanted his friend to make sure he too should take part before the unknown great event's coming. 
Juray was dumbfounded.
The second thing he told was his brother has gotten a job and might come here in different timing for it. He asked if Juray could led him a hand when needing. 
Juray replied agreeing "yes, I will. No problem, I am not sure during my off times but if I find him around I will ensure to help him".


"Thanks a lot" said Yamato in relief and both returned to their works.


At night 10:40pm, the station was still lightened and the guest were few in number. Stretching the arms high in air and falling lifeless, Juray leaned back on the chair and sighed deeply.
"Tired?" he heard Yu-say coming to the counter.


"Yeah..... weaken too" he replied "but I will sleep well and it will be fine" the other employer nodded. Then Juray started a question roaming in his mind for long.
"Am.... Yu-say"

"Yes?"

"I have a question to ask...." 

"Go on...."

"I heard a special event for the game will start soon in Minus Zero... do you have any idea?"

A shock shoked the other employer and he quickly turned to the counter, grabbing the calendar from the table and went through it. 
"Oh dear that early....?" he asked himself. 
Juray stared in confusion and asked "is everything alright?"
Yu-say smiled at him and replied "yeah it will be fun and you will be there" taking out the empty stick from his mouth, placing on his lips, he winkled saying "it should be secret for new comers then only they will have fun".


Giggling, Juray commented "I guess this game's events are all surprising and filled with delightment just like the place which took place in here earlier".

Yu-say was confused. He was new here and didn't attend it but, heard of it a lot and only nodded.

Come to know a game, where you battle new unknown beast, struggle in fights against New opponents, work on your character like one self and see who shall reach the top level, your favorite fighter or your opponents, unknown to all. Apart of this a game where professional has a value. Top player level-100?
No Top player level 1! and what is it to be beyond that!
Player will realize the true worth of being higher level, above 1 the power of Minus Zero, will soon lay in our hands.
