That's right I Mr. Richard Roswald Jackson is a person re living my life. Not only i came back in the past in 1975 but also can remember everything up until i died on 2020.
When i came back at fist i was shocked but then i became excited. Why? Because  i can change my life for the better, i can realize the dreams which i couldn't in previous life. I could live a life far better then the life i had previous.
My previous life was worse. As my family is well known and successful, having such an amazing family can be both pressuring and blessing. Pressuring because, if have live unto expectation of not only your parents but also the surroundings otherwise they will compare ,make fun of you.
But I couldn't bare the pressure and by the time I became 18 i collapsed. oh boy! i fell hard!!!. I was academically good, it turned worse. i stated to become rebellious. arguing with parents , keeping distance from them, parting, fighting ,drinking, drugs etc i became all in all problem child.
it turned out to be the worst decision of my life. Because by continuing this kind of life my body deteriorated. Finally the worse turn came, I had an accident and the result I became bedridden for my life, worse disease started coming from left to right.
 All i could have done at that time is watch movies, tv series or read books. beside that due to fathers influence look at the investment market and help my father with his work.
Finally at the age of 45 my body collapsed after fighting for a long time. During my last breath I wised if i could have relived this life once again. And  I don't know which supreme being heard my wish because I am for ever grateful to him.
 And that is how I came back to the past. Now onward to the story....

Month have gone since the  kitchen discussion, the kids column of NY times started get popular as interesting short stories are been publishing every week under a name R.R Jackson. Popularity might not been seen during first week but after that it started to grow.
One day, a family of three on Zionsville just having a breakfast in a living room, the child of this family, a 9 year old girl was reading a newspaper and see this, her parents treat this as normal occurrence as entertainment for the kids have been matured enough like smart phones or video games era. 
See his daughter seem fascinated reading a newspaper, the father feel curious and ask his daughter. " What's on the news sweetheart? I've never seen you such having those interest reading newspaper."
The daughter heard her father saying that immediately felt irritated," Dad, I'm concentrating on reading this story, you know it's really hard to read on the newspaper".
Hearing that, her father didn't feel angry at all and become more curious for his daughter behavior, " Okay sweetheart, I will just wait for you finish the story and then you tell me what this is story about" her father just smiled after saying that.
The mother saw the father daughter interaction just smiled and also became interested about what her daughter read. A moment passed and the girl has read the story with both happy and frustrated expression on her face, her father become curious,  seeing this she began narrate the story to her parents

" This short story is the best that I have read mom, dad. It's exciting and funny. But dad whats a string ray? Does it look like a large butterfly too bad it has no illustration on it, can we go to fish aquarium see string ray dad  and this story still has continuation and won't be released next week. But dad, newspaper story is usually different each week and I'm afraid I won't get the continuation next week."
Seeing her frustrated but hopeful face girls dad laughed "hahaha... Don't worry dear i will send request mail to the editor of NY times and of course I will take you to the aquarium to see a string ray"
"really dad!!! yaaa!!!!" the girl became excited hugged her dad.
And this situation occurs at least in a thousand household in N.Y. and few parts of the States that subscribing the N.Y. Times. It occurred not only for the stories it self but the clever tactic used by Richard himself. 
When he created the short stories the volume was really large, so in order to publish in the paper it was usually divided into two or three parts but he cleverly divided the story in such a way that when ever a reader finishes one part they not only became frustrated but also crave for the latter part of the story which drives the popularity even more.
As the short stories grow popular the sales and the subscribing number of NY Times also grows which in turn they urge Richard to give them more  priority by giving him 200$-250$ each article writing in there kids column.
With  in the next few months Richards short stories not only became popular among the kids but also among their parents. the author R.R Jackson became topic of discussion on dinner table in many households. Not only the NY times have sold like hot cakes but there was substantial visitors specially families with kids from 6 to 12 years old in many water zoos or aquarium parks through out the states. 
During this frenzy time when a book named <My Ocean Stories> by R.R Jackson which was no  only the compilation of this short stories but also illustration of different characters where published . It not only sold more than 150,000 copies trough out US but also took 10th place in the bestseller list.
The guy who created this is situation doing dancing practice for his upcoming show stage show audition in Broadway.

Another pathetic day in my stupid immortal life . I am one of the reapers. We reapers are the servant of Thanatos. No mortal knows about our existance yet . Yeah , the Greek gods from the good old times still exist . Their life force is tied to the memories of mortals which include them . That's one of the reasons why you have a class on Greek mythology .
Anyways back to me . I am just like any other teenager you would see in NY during the day .2 feet , 2 hands 2 eyes and  1 nose . 
Most probably I have ran into you some time in your life . Blond hair and stormy grey eyes .
Reapers are usually ex demigods. ( Kids gods have with mortals )( ex means that they are supposed to be dead but have been chosen to help Thanatos with reaping and stuff.
My name is Bianca grace . I am 16 yrs old( if you go by my appearance ) . Welcome to my life. 
I have to reap 3 souls daily . I sometimes get sent to different continents to do reaping . The worst part about my job is that I have to explain the person what would happen if they donot accept their death and go to underworld. If they don't they will turn into  monsters who feed on mortals to live longer in the mortal world ( GROSS OUT ALERT :unlike the ones in doctor sleep because these monsters are super gross , have rotting body and  eat a mortal  completely , bones and internal organs included  ) I have to find and kill these monsters . After every 200 years , we get a change of city . ( Currently , I am in NY) This can soo not be a person's  dream career . And the only compensation is immortality . If I die in a fight ,I will most likely regenerate by the next day , ready for more pain( YAY ! ) . Just today I had to reap the soul of a little girl who was with her cat . Nah not the cat, just the girl( don't blame me , I get the monthly list of people who are gonna die from reaper headquarters ) . Anyway , it was easy to convince the girl . Her last words to me were to take care of her cat and feed her cat 5 times a day . I almost asked her if she had ever heard of an animal rescue center ( did I mention that I have pathetic people skills) but before I could say that ,  said that she was ready to go .  I just wanted to go back to my appartment and get some sleep . So, I simply cut of her life string and send her to the underworld where she would be send to fields of asphodel , elisyum or fields of punishment depending on her deeds  . ( There are two of those, one which is cut by the fates and the other which has to be cut by the reaper)

we are going for tour. i am excited. but i miss my dear sister. i called manu and janvi.. they will join us. we are traveling on mini bus. its really enjoyable for us. we will see different places. 

my brother invited his friends also and one girl also with them. 

we are waiting for janvi. its already 7 .i called her several times. .
" hi tanu .i am sorry. i forget to kept alarm so i wokr up late. " she said hurriedly. 
" no need. we are leaving " i said. 

me  and janvi sit next to each other and manu and my brother sit beside our seat. 
we talked too much 
we will take one hour for us to take our destination. actually we are going in zoo. this is my first time to go there. my family went so many times. 
after we will go beach and big temple and so on.. 
this is my list for this vacation...  this is my idea.. 
i am now changed i am not afraid too much. 
so my parents willing to do anything  for me. 

we are in zoo and i saw so many animals. i like that white peacock. 
now i am with manu. everyone left manu with me.

i saw that girl reshma. she sat next to ny mom and janvi. she is too different. she wore very simple dress but her looking is not good.

i am jealous here. every guy was looking at my girl. she is beautiful i know. but they have to stop staring at her. tanu brother raghu was not understand about his friends.. 

we went beach. we enjoyed . we played games. and started chasing... and running there and there. 

after we are in boat.
janvi sat to next to me. 
" hi manu. how was your feeling today" she asked me. 
" i enjoyed " i said. 
" me aslo"  she said. than  someone shouted..
" tanu is in water help her she can't slim" someone said and i don't know what to do. i jumped immediately in to the sea.

"Hello, you." I am welcomed in a passionate kiss.

I place a hand on his shoulder, preventing him from going further once I felt his hand crawl underneath my shirt. Anger laid naked in his eyes, he's stressed. "What happened?" I massage his tensed shoulders.

"Nothing you have to worry about, baby." He pulls me in for another kiss. Not going any longer than a smack. 

"Doesn't seem like it." 

After a boring evening, I've decided to visit Stavros in his office. I have never been to the Philidelphian-Koenig merged manor before, this is one of the few firsts I've yet to check off my list. The guards and men seemed alarmed as I walk through the colossal halls and corridors. Fear and admiration all in one while their eyes follow me as I open the door to Stavros' office. A diverse group of men sat firmly around the long table. Stavros sat in a large chair that's fit for a king. Poker-faced. 

He talked limitedly, only opened his mouth when he felt the need to voice out his opinions. The men were like starved dogs awaiting for their owner to feed them. Most of the men did horribly in hiding their greed and hate. They put up with Stavros because they wanted power. Power hungry dogs. No one would say a thing, no one dared to. It's an unspoken rule to disrepect another made man. 

Among the long list of unspoken rules, this one was the most important one of all. Disrespecting means to question the man's power and honor. They knew that even if they be discordant to his ways, everyone in the oi mafiózoi would turn a blind eye on them. Stavros, although the being the youngest in this syndicate, holds a great amount of laudation and dominated them all. 

Cicero Philidelphia trained his grandson to be the best of the best. And so far, Stavros hasn't failed his grandfather yet. Schólio Cicero took great pride in his daughter, Stavros' mama: Andromena, true to her name. She really did rule over the hearts of the Philidelphia men. Both the schólio and the soldiers. Eventually, her charms reached the heart of the german schólio, Stavros' father: Duibhin Koenig. 

"Herr Koenig, we can't just keep our mouths shut. The Greeks are blaming you—" 

Stavros silenced him, "Let them blame me. I never back down from the truth. We all know what I did, let's not kid ourselves." 

"Herr, but what about the case of your father's death?" this intrigued me.

The men haven't noticed my presence yet, they were too invested in the meeting. All of them had their attention to Stavros; As for him, however, had his attention on the scattered papers in front of them. 

He massaged his temples. "Aldoph," the man named Adolph lifts his head up as soon as he heard his name.

"Yes, herr?" 

"What are the reports on that, and please... make it good or I swear to god, I will blow off all your asses." 

Adolph visibly cleared his throat. "T-the detectives have the files you've been asking for... Apparently, Mr. Duibhin had been roaming the streets of Boston when that happened."

"So, what does that have to do with his death?"

"Ahm, well, he was ambushed—"

A man caught my gaze. "Herr, gibt es Mädchen."

His cold gaze took my breathe away. His leer was followed by his men. With alarmed faces they turn to Stavros, silently asking what to do with me. I caught a man looking at my breasts. Unfortunately for him, Stavros seemed to have caught him as well. He leans on his side, whispered to the man that sat to his right. With a vicious look and a flick of his fingers, the man stood and saw the pervert out. 

I wasn't naive to not know what his fate was.

"Meine Herren, lassen Sie uns." They all stood at his command, like puppets. Swarming out of the room in a rush. A few of them glanced at me in suspicion as they went out. 

I bit my lip and greeted him. Only to be welcomed with a kiss. He pulled me to his lap and his arm loop around my waist. His heated gaze locked with mine.

"So, what are you doing here? D'you miss me, hmm?" he snubbed my words with another question. 

I concluded that maybe he doesn't wanna talk about it. My hands fondled with his hair, wrougthing his scalp in attempt to ease his stressed self. 

"Oh, I wouldn't say missed..." he raised a brow at this. "Alright, alright. Maybe I did, but only a fraction. I came here 'cause I was bored."

"This isn't a safe place for you to roam all due to boredom, little Hasi." 

I giggled at his endearment. "That's quite new, what does it mean?"

"My little bunny."

"I'm no bunny, though."

"To me, you are. Now, what do you want to do now that you've invaded my meeting?"

His hand on my thigh momentarily dissuaded me from ny thoughts. I endeavoured to swat his hand away; only to fail as he tightens his grip. The veins of his appendages popped. I draped my leg over the other in attempt to gather the lecherous thoughts that played in my head. 

Damn. His hand alone could impregnate a woman. Deary me, this man was so infruriatably hot.

"My hands could impregnate a woman, huh?"

Blushing would have been no problem, but what I did was go as red as a beetroot and radiate heat like a hot pan. You could have cooked a three course meal on my face. My hair shielded me from his vision, I could almost hear the smirk in his voice as he teased me. I wanted the earth to open up and swallow me whole. Though, there were times that I don't mind my word vomit... but, of all times I could've embarrassed myself. 

"Stop," I plant my hand down his lips. His chuckles filled my hearing, he caught my wrist and removed the hand that covered his mouth. 

"Make me." 

His teeth nipped on my helix. I swat his arm as I felt my cheeks burn. My whole body shook from chagrin. I peek at him through my lashes. His lips caught between his teeth, preventing himself to smile although the corners of his mouth gave him away. His lip ring shone under the iridescent light. 

"Shut up." I sulked to his joy.

"Aren't you scared?" 

"Scared of what?" he adjusts his figure to fit on top of mine. Catching my hand, he tweads our fingers together; kissing the top of my palm. 

"Scared of losing... someone, a position, or maybe your life."

"No, I'm programmed not to fear. Have been since I was ten. So, there's really not much advantage for anyone who wants me to descend the throne."

"What about me," that caught his attention. "What if... you lose me, are you afraid of that happening?"

"That won't happen, I'll always be there to protect you. I won't allow even a molecule of harm get to you."

I carress his jaw. "Stav, I'm asking theoretically."

"No."

"Alicia, bisakah kau ubah kembali laporan ini dan kirim kepada ku melalui email" suruh Axel. Ini sudah ke tujuh kalinya Axel menyuruhnya seperti ini, padahal tidak ada yang perlu di ubah lagi karena laporan ini sudah benar tidak ada letak kesalahan disini

"Baiklah,sir" Alicia pun mengulang kembali laporan yang di berikan Axel. Badannya sudah pegal pegal karena terus menunduk

Sekarang waktunya jam istirahat. Alicia lapar,dan ia ingin mencari makan siang. 

"Kau ingin kemana?" Tanya Axel yang melihat Alicia sudah akan bangkit dari duduknya

"Mencari makan siang,bukannya ini sudah jam istirahat?"

"Makan siang bersama ku" ucap Axel dan bangkit dari kursi kebesarannya,mengambil kas yang ia sampirkan di senderan kursi

Alicia sedikit tidak percaya dengan ucapan Axel "pardon me,sir" ucap Alicia

"Kau tau? Aku paling tidak suka jika perkataan ku di ulang kembali" dan berjalan melewati Alicia, Alicia tetap tidak bergeming dari tempatnya mencerna kembali perkataan Axel

"Ayolah. Apa kau ingin terus berdiri disitu" ujar Axel

Alicia pun mengikuti Axel dari belakang, sesampainya mereka di lobi kantor banyak para karyawan yang berbisik tentang mereka berdua. Membicarakan yang buruk tentunya, namun mereka tidak terlalu memperdulikan dan terus berjalan

"Astaga, bukannya itu pekerja baru? Tapi kok bisa pergi berdua dengan Mr. Stewart" ucap salah satu karyawan

"Palingan di goda" ucap yang satunya lagi dan banyak lagi kalimat buruk tentang Alicia yang di dengar ny. 

Sebelumnya Axel sudah menelfon Robert untuk menyiapkan mobilnya,ia akan pergi makan siang menyetir mobilnya sendiri tanpa supir. Ia menggunakan mobil sportnya yang baru ia beli 3 bulan yang lalu,Lamborghini Aventador

Mobil yang Axel kendarai melewati jalan kota New York yang panas,ia mengambil kacamata hitamnya yang memang selalu ia taruh di dalam mobilnya. Semakin menambah ketampanannya saat kacamata itu bertengger di hidung mancungnya

Alicia di buat kagum karena ketampanan Axel, ia terus memperhatikan setiap inci wajah Axel

"Mengagumiku huh?" Alicia ketahuan memperhatikan Axel

"Aku tau aku tampan,jadi wajar saja jika banyak wanita yang jatuh cinta denganku" lagi-lagi dia menyombongkan dirinya

"Tidak. Kau terlalu berperasaan" ujar Alicia

"Akui saja" Axel semakin menyebalkan

"Brandon lebih tampan ketimbang dirimu" aku Alicia

"Benarkah? Jadi,kau menyukai Brandon" kekeh Axel

"Bukan urusanmu" Alicia membuang mukanya ke arah jendela samping ny

Kini mereka sudah tiba di sebuah restoran mewah yang di yakini hanya orang teratas yang bisa makan di sini. Dari mulai interior dan desainnya saja sudah berkelas

Axel memesan meja VIP dan privat agar ia bisa menikmati makanannya dengan nikmat dan nyaman tanpa ada gangguan dari para paparazi 
Apalagi ia membawa Alicia, pasti mereka akan mengira jika ia membawa kekasih baru di publik yang notabenenya adalah asisten pribadinya

Pelayan itu memberi buku menu kepada Axel dan Alicia. Sekali lagi Alicia di buat kaget dengan menu-menu di restoran ini,harga makanan di restoran ini sudah menghabiskan hampir separuh dari gajinya.

"Tidak,aku tidak terlalu lapar" bohong ny

"Badanmu kurus sekali,pesanlah lagi. Aku yang akan membayarnya" 

"Baiklah" Alicia pun memesan makanan yang lainnya

Selesai mereka makan, mereka kembali lagi ke kantor. Dan sampai di lobi kantor masih ada beberapa karyawan yng membicarakan mereka. Axel yang sedari tadi tak perduli pun angkat suara

"Apa kalian tidak punya pekerjaan lain, sehingga kalian membicarakan diriku yang notabenenya bos kalian sendiri,huh?!" Suara bariton Axel terdengar begitu kejam dan intimidasi

"Jika kalian bosan atau tidak sanggup bekerja sini lagi,antarkan surat pengunduran diri kalian keruangan ku.aku dengan senang hati menyetujui nya" 

"Jika kalian ketahuan lalai dalam bekerja atau bergosip seperti ini lagi,aku tidak akan segan-segan memecat kalian. masih ada banyak pengangguran di luar sana yang butuh pekerjaan" setelah mengucapkan itu Axel pergi memasuki lift menuju ruangannya dan di ikuti Alicia

Axel duduk di kursi kebesarannya dan memijit pelipisnya, tampak wajah frustasi terpampang di sana

"Anda tak apa,sir?" Tanya Alicia

"I'm fine" singkat Axel

Setelah itu Alicia tidak menanyakan hal apapun lagi. Mungkin Axel tidak mau orang lain mengetahui masalahnya

Axel melihat kearah kalender yang bertengger di meja kerjanya
Ia memanggil sekretarisnya, chelsea
Melalui interkom untuk menemuinya di ruangan nya

Tak lama Chelsea pun masuk
"Ada yang perlu saya bantu,sir?"ucapnya sopan

"Kosongkan jadwal ku untuk lusa" perintah axel yang langsung di setujui Chelsea

Chelsea pun pamit keluar dari ruangan untuk melanjutkan pekerjaannya. Axel menelfon Robert

"Hallo, Robert" panggil Axel

"Ya tuan,ada apa?"

"Besok kau pergilah untuk membeli sembako seperti biasanya. Akan aku berikan list nya dengan Alicia"

"Baik, tuan. Ada lagi?"

"Siapkan jet pribadi ku. Lusa kita akan pergi ke Los Angeles"

Lalu ia mematikan sambungan telepon nya

"Alicia" panggil Axel dan Alicia pun menghampiri Axel. Axel mengambil secarik kertas di laci dan memberikannya kepada Alicia

"Apa ini,sir?" Tanya Alicia

"Besok pergilah bersama Robert dan beli banyak barang yang ada tercantum di situ. Ingat,beli sebanyak banyaknya" yang diangguki mengerti oleh Alicia

Waktu sudah sore hari,ini sudah jam pulang kantor. Axel pulang mengendarai mobil sportnya menuju penthouse ny,ia tidak akan pulang kemansion hari ini

Sesampainya di penthouse,Axel mengganti pakaian kerjanya menjadi pakaian santai. Kaos putih dan celana training panjang. Lalu ia bersender di senderan tempat tidur sembari membuka MacBook ny melanjutkan pekerjaannya

Hingga pukul 08.13 malam,Axel merasa lapar dan ia ingin mencari makan malam ny. Ia tidak perduli jika ibunya akan marah padanya karena tidak pulang ke mansion dan pergi makan malam bersama ibunya ke rumah Lorena, untuk menjodohkannya dengan Lorena

Sungguh Axel tidak suka dengan Lorena, karena ia sudah mencari tau tentang Lorena. Gadis yang penggila harta,dan ia juga termasuk fuckgirl. Sungguh bukan tipe Axel

Ia menggunakan layanan Drive thrue, karena ia malam makan di tempat. Yang ada ia akan menjadi pusat perhatian para pelanggan di sana,itu sangat membuatnya risih.Setelah selesai,ia kembali ke penthouse nya

Ia sudah selesai makan dan menyelesaikan pekerjaannya. Ia menonton video video yang ia simpan saat ia bersama Alice di laptopnya. Ia sesekali tersenyum saat melihat adegan romantis mereka berdua, seperti berpelukan dan berciuman serta juga karena senyuman Alice yang selalu menenangkan dan menjadi candu baginya.

Namun itu dulu, sekarang ia tidak bisa lagi melihat senyuman itu secara langsung, merasakan hangatnya pelukan gadis itu, mendengar suara cerewet Alice dan juga canda tawa bersamanya. Banyak momen yang ia sangat rindukan bersama Alice

On Monday, the day was rather gloomy with scattered shower from the morning.
"Where is father ?" Kenichi did not see Mr Feng during their breakfast.
"He is in the shop already" Cacha said.
"Can you go to the shop today ?" Mrs Feng asked.
"Why ?"
"I told your sisters not to go out today, I don't want the babies to get sick. Please do some shopping for them and take your dad home together with you. These are list of fruit and vegie as well as  meat. Buy them  for your sisters"
"will do. how did Dad go there ?" Kenichi happily  accepted the task.
"With Alan. He has early morning surgery today" 

At 9.30, Cacha and Kenichi left home. He drove Mrs Feng's car to the shop while Cacha navigated him.
"This car is not bad at al" She grinned and she examined her parents' car.
"This is one of the series with the best safety features" He said.
"Of course. Otherwise My brothers would not spend so much money"
"Your brothers bought it ?"
"Yes. Three of them put money together to buy this car for our parents"
"We have shopping list for all of your sisters. How about Mum ? does she not need anything  ?" Kenichi said.
"May be dad has it"

They parked the car on the small car park and walked to the small shopping village. Kenichi was surprised. There were only not more then ten shops but there were a lot  of custumers shopped there. 
"Dad" Cacha tapped her dad shoulder who was busy arranging apples from the boxes 
"You are here"
"Mum asked me to get some fruit and veggie"
"Is it for your sisters ? get them by your self"
"Ok"

Mr Feng was finished with his box. He was about to push the trolley when extra hands helped him.
"I push it for you" Kenichi rushed to give a hand.
"hahaha.. Thank you but I'm alright.I do this everyday for year"

Cacha smiled "Dad, let him help you" She walked in to the shop with Kenichi and told him where to put the trolly.  She greeted by the middle age ladies and men there.
"They have been worked here for many years" She explained it to Kenichi.
"Cha, this man is..."
"He is my boyfriend" 

after she introduced him, she took the shopping list and put the fruits and veggies on a bags.

Kenichi helped her a little bit before they went to the cash register where she weighed  the fruit by her self and put money on it.
"Do you have to pay for it ?" He asked confusedly.
"Yes, it's not belong to Dad anymore. My brother managed this but all profit go to charity.  Now, We need to buy fish and meat"

She put all their bags on two large boxes and put them underneat the cash register before she dragged him.
They went to the fish shop next door first  "Hello every one. Long time not see1" Cacha waived at the three men there.
"Hey Little one. Long time not see you, you are getting prettier" The old fat man with  strong Italian accent.
"Thank you. Please give me two snappers medium size, two pieces of salmon fillet and half kilo of prawn please"
"your dad has ordered barramundi this morning"
"It's for Mum, These all are from my sisters"
"Sir, can I help you ?" The other man asked Kenichi.
"He is fine, he is with me" Cacha said.
"Your boyfriend ?" The old fat man asked again.
"Yes. He speak italian fluently" Cacha said proudly.
The old man smiled and spoke in Italian "are you Italian? "
"No. I studied in Switzerland before. So I learned Few languages"
"Have you been to Italy ?" The other asked
"Few times"
"This girl, I watch her grown up. Look after her well" The skinny old man said.
"I will" 

"Nedy, becarefull ! This young man is going to steal your little girl" The old fat man shouted loudly and successfully attracted people  attantion around them.

Mr Feng laughed and shouted back  "what can I do ? My little on has grown up, I can't squeeze her on my trolley anymore"

"Hey Old man, Few years back, we are talking about match making Cacha with ny son. How come did you do that ? I know this man is more handsome than my son but my son has steady job" The guys on bakery shop shouted.

Kenichi frowned when he jeard what the men said "Is it true your dad had arrangemenr for you before ?"
Cacha snorted "Don't listen to them. They always like that. They said the same thing to my siblings"
"Really ?" he was relief

Cacha nodded. Shepaid for the fish while Kenichi took the plastics bags then they went inside the butcher shop.

"Hello girl" 
"Hello. uncle, give me 3 bags of two pieces chicken breast fillet, two of Half kilo lean beef, 5 pieces of pork chop and hald kilo of pork mince" Cacha said as she read the shopping lists.
"Your boyfriend is really handsome" The lady said.
"Thank you aunty" Cacha smiled proudly.
"Is he mix ?" 
"He is"
The man got everything ready in no time. 

Cacha and Keinichi left the shop with the man tailing behind them and shouted "Nedy, Your  future grandkid will be very cute like their parents"

"My grandkids are very cute " Mr Feng  shouted proudly.
"Ah.. I forgot you already have 4"
"And 2 to go" Mr Feng laughed.
"stop showing off" the man in fish shop yelled.
"you are loser mate, you only have 1 " The one if bakery said loudly.
"better than you. you have none" 

In no time, some other people from other shops as well as some shopper joined the fun.

Kenichi laughed at the men. They were old but they still behaved like children, teasing each other. 
"Oniichan, lets put everything in the car"
"You just stay here. I'll do it" He took the meat and the first then came back for the fruit.

Mr Feng finished what he were doing then went to the back to the shop to wash their hand.  When he was back with a box of fruit, Kenichi had put everything inside the car.
"Dad, let me do it" Kenichi took the box from Mr Feng. His heart ached to see his father in law  whose hairs was halved white carried such a heavy box.

Keinichi Anderson,  a mix of a Caucasion father and a Japanese mother was a coldman. He was born at rich family from both side of  his parents. Since he grew up alone while his parents was to busy with their business, he had alot of things that were hidden.  He never show any interest with woman until he met a little girl that was exactly had opposite personality.

Charlene Feng was just a normal girl. She was born ar a normal working family as the youngest with elder sibling. She was raised in Australia while her parents had a strong Asian culture.  As the youngest, She was spoiled by her siblings to the max. 

He did not talk much while she was flabbermount. He was mature while she was childlish. He was an independent man while she was spoiled by her family. Moving down these roads of New York made the memories to become crystal clear again.

Its been ten years. Ten years of living a life filled with dreadful memories. 


Back then I was a foolish naive girl. When people said Izach Markstone was incapable of love that he could be seen with different women at different times of the day didn't change my view on him. Maybe he could love me that is what I thought. And that is where I went downhill. He was always so full of him. Being the fact that he was the greatest conqueror of the business world at such an early age boosted his ego. It only took him some good words, nice comments, and giving the possessiveness as a hint of love to make me kiss the floor he walked. I loved him to death. Maybe I still did or maybe not. 

New York is the place where I took my first breath, saw the world, went school, dreamt of going to college but it never happened, learned to live, gradually fell in love, got married and dreamt of a happily ever after only to be crashed into a nasty divorce and left heartbroken forever. So you know how much this city means to me. 

Our love always fascinated me. How quick we fell for each. It was only the third month when he asked me to marry him. I hesitated knowing he and I were both new to this whole relationship thing. But he said he couldn't let me out there in the world without making me fully his and that is possible only through marriage. For a second in my life, I too realized that I never desired for anything than being his and the lamb fell into the lion's den. That is what I think it to be now.


The car came to a halt and Denial opened the door. He was my right hand and half mind in command. These past years I think I know enough to trust him with anything.

He was given to me by none other than my best friend, Harry Smith, the owner of the Smith Groups. He held my back when my ass was getting divorced, made me move on, and brought me where I'm standing today. In the list of top twenty billionaires. I owe him everything.


I stepped out of the car and Denial made me wear my black coat. The wind blew marking the rainy days in NY. It used to be my favorite. I looked up at the skyscraper. It looked so proud standing to be the tallest out of all the NY skyscrapers. Even more proud to hold the Markstone Inc in its head like it itself is something to boast about. Nothing changed as I looked around. The same entrance that could fit three jaguars in together just newly renovated. The lilies continued to bloom around the corners. Its Zach's favorite. 

I knew it was not right for me to be hereafter I swore never to cross his way. But I also knew not to let my past bother my present and moreover, with all those times, I spent together with him being his p. a, I knew he never ever would attend a transaction. Maybe that is the reason why I even entertained the idea of coming here.


I walked closer towards the entrance with Denial following behind. The fresh wood mint scent hit my nose. Another thing Izach loved. Silly I still remember every damn thing about him. And the worst I still remember the first time I came here.

I packed my stuff after my boss told me that I'm fired from here. It's sad though after working here for two years I was attached to it.


It was very cold outside. After shit head humiliated me and fired my ass out he was out. I bid farewell to my friends here and with loss, shoulders went out. 


One step. Two steps. Three and I broke down.

Tears welled up in my eyes. I tighten my hold around my bag and pressed it hard on my chest. The misty cold winds made howling sounds. It was the third week of the month, I had to pay for Axus med schools. He joined recently. Mom was sick and found overdosed. She was in rehab. Even though the money here was not enough to pay it for all, but keeping myself empty stomach for the day just managed the whole thing. 

And this had to happen. The worst of all Axus was not here to hold me, console me when I get back home, and say that it will be alright. He was already working as a p.a in some lawyer's firm to pay for mom's bill and partly support his hostel bills too. Med school isn't easy and expensive too. But I asked him to concentrate fully on his studies that I will manage and here I was unemployed and had nothing to do. Perhaps I would have got my payment if this week ended but now I won't.

Left with the ten dollars in the pocket again. 


Shit head. I wanted to curse him so badly. Rich brat. Ohh I soo wanna kill him.

I touched my lips again. I could feel his lips lingering in mine still now. It still hurts. Hurts to admit that he only kissed me to prove me a whore.


"I bet he is and will always be an idiot. " I heard a man's voice and turned back to see a handsome blonde standing there. Hands in the pocket but not as handsome as him. 

Shit, Chaise. Get yourself together. I told myself.


"Who are you??" I asked in a stern voice. 

Just great now I'm with a stranger in the middle of a night with no taxis in the sight not that I could afford one and the chilly winter winds making it not any better. 

He could be a murderer or a rapist or a thief or anything. With home almost two miles away from here and the fact he is just two steps away from me would not be great for me to run because he surely will catch me. He was in a good shape.



"I'm Matt. Mathew Harris Sanderson. Friend of that guy who umm umm fired you and I'm here to apologize." He said and I looked at him like a hawk. 

Was he for real??
Apologize?? His friend fires me and he comes apologizing. Was it their way??

After getting no reply from me, he spoke again. " Look Chaise I know you're in a needy condition and I can help you get a job back. Don't refuse and do not give that look to me. You must know I'm a mogul and I got your information. It was easy. So ready??" 

It was tempting but after tonight I knew one thing that life cannot get any harsher to me anymore because it crossed its limits but I was wrong again.


Matt was a billionaire. He trained me to become a p.a for another one of his friend who happens to be a billionaire too. 

His wife and p.a Ticklish became best friend with me and with that, I spent almost one month getting trained. Matt supported my expenditure for the time being and I'm so grateful for him.


It was a big day. My interview. Matt gave me thumbs up and I went inside to meet the boss of Markstone Inc.


I prayed for the nth time not to screw it up. This job could be the best thing in my life if only I get it.


And with praying Jesus for the last time I entered. A mere 'coming in ' sound came. For a while, I felt like I heard the voice somewhere. But I ignored it and made myself in when my soon or not soon to be boss decided to turn his back to face me I nearly gasped in shock and stumbled back hitting my foot on the wooden thick door. A sound of pain escaped my lips. I bent down to look at it when he came nearer to me and I thought of other ways to run. I looked up to see his face full of concern now. The shock to see me vanished long ago. I tried standing up but I moaned in pain again.

He looked at me with those deep oceanic eyes and out of my utter astonishment, lifted me up, and bought myself to sit on the soft cushiony sofa nearby. He didn't leave for me to react and took my feet on his lap. Electricity urging in my nerves and I grasp at the sudden contact of his skin with mine when he rolled up the jeans to check my injury. 


"Does it hurt ??" He asked. 

And being in a haze of seeing someone caring about me after like a decade made me only stare at him with wide eyes disbelieving what it was seeing.

 Isn't it the same man who made my life hell for a while?? Stole my first kiss to prove me a whore?? 


"And there you both are. Directly to the sofa. I see " Matt barged in laughing like a mad gorilla which made us both back to earth. 


And that is when I know Matt tricked me to work for him. I mean Izach Markstone. I know the job was already out of my fucked up fortune.


"What the hell Matt?? And for your kind information, she got hurt and that is why I bought her here to check if she is ok?? Ok?? And now tell me where is my p.a??" Izach asked standing up from the sofa.


I lifted up myself even though it pained but now since no job no need of staying here right.


"Ok. Ok. Dude. Chill out sometimes and Chaise here is your p.a. Didn't I tell you I will get you the best??" And Matt roared again.


"This isn't funny anymore. Be serious Matt. I won't work with her not in my dreaded dreams either." Izach spoke more like barked looking at me with a glare.

I hurried up took my bag and said " Thank you Matt for thinking about me. I guess the fact you deceived me for not telling me who my boss would be is really  fucking crazy." I screamed the 'fucking crazy' part to both of them. I was beyond angry at these men.


"Wait. Wait for Chaise. What is this Zach?? You fired her from her job stupidly and now you won't allow to work her here.??? This is really fucking crazy. Just grow up for once." Matt too screamed the 'fucking crazy' part at him.


"It's fine. Matt. I will find a way out. I... thanks." I was about to walk out when I heard...

 " You must have entered here with him but can't go out without my permission. Now Matt if you excuse us, let me introduce my p.a to her work." 



Matt hugged him and half hugged me before going out. My mind was still processing what he just said. 

I turned to look back at him again. He took his seat and spoke " You'll call me Mr. Markstone and I'll call you...." he paused.

I drew myself back and said " Chaise. Yes. I'm Chaise. " I was too nervous. He made me nervous.

 I don't know why.??


"No. Not your name. Your surname." He replied.


"Poucha. Miss Poucha." My hands were so sweaty.


"So Miss Poucha welcome to the Markstone Inc. I aspect you to start from tomorrow right away. 9 sharp." With that saying, he looked back into his laptop again.

I could not believe he actually considered me. Not even checked my resume.

"What?? Any question??" He raised his face up to see me again.

"You... I mean Mr. Markstone. Didn't even let me show you my resume. I mean. How could you get me the job?? I m. I know..." I fumbled with the words. 

He only gave me a strange look like he was bored and replied " I trust Matt. Now lead yourself out. Miss Poucha. Tomorrow sharp at 9." And went back to work.


I gathered my things and after giving him a curt nod made myself out. Thankful to get the job. Could not even think of how satisfied I feel now. Indirectly he was to be thanked. 

I smiled and promised myself no misery. 


That is how I entered the Markstone Inc for the first time.

The memory was so clear. Like it happened yesterday.

I went inside following other suite clad bodies into the conference hall. I denied myself to look around the place for it will only put more colors of dark in my ruined self.

And once getting settled in my place when I thought he was really not here maybe I was wrong again. Because he was right there sitting in front of me looking at me with emotions I could not decode. Ten years and we are here. Right in front of each other. He looked the same man I loved. Grew fond of. The same man who broke me apart. The meeting went on with loads of uncomfortableness.

Once it was over, I rushed out immediately to the washroom only to collide with the man I swore not to cross path with. He holds me tight, pulled me towards his chest from falling down. His cologne hit my nose. And his name purred out of my mouth like it was a mantra of love, a dose for my sanity to stick by. Soon we heard a man talking and he pushed me off. I fell down. Embarrassed. Drew me up and looked up to see only Matt standing there by the door.


I passed by him quickly only to hear him ask " Could not get over her ?? Your ex-wife Izach??"

 I soo badly wanted to listen to the answer but my feets walked faster than I wanted it to be.


Soon Denial opened the car door and asked me where to.


I never ever thought I would meet him. Maybe coming here was a really bad idea. Coming to NY itself was a bad idea.


"To the hotel," I told him. I only owned ten hotels in the chain here. I never ever visited NY after our divorce.


Soo many things I subsided down in my head but now it all came back to me...

Little by little tears made its way to my eyes. Numb is all I feel.
