I had a thought what if I made random titles and/or intros that people can use to make fun novels.
I was thinking of making novels but thought to myself that I don't really have the talent to make novels to the end or realy capture the audience attention. I could capture the attention for a short while but not for the whole novel.
I just hope one of my ideas can become a good novel.

Tips, Tricks and Hacks to read Novels with ease.

***Ji Dynasty.
By the night, Feng Ju had shifted Zhao Ming's all the belongings to Ji Cheng's chamber in the palace.
She was surprised how fast he is. He was asked to do it by tomorrow but he did in the one day that too before they could have their dinner.
This man is unrealistically fast.
" Miss" Lu Shi called out from outside.
Zhao Ming looked over at the gate and saw Lu Shi holding the books that she had asked for.
Her expressions were complicated as she looked at her Miss.
Zhao Ming chuckled and waved her hand, " Come in. "
" Miss, why did you ask me to get these books? Do you know that the women in the palace are not allowed to read such things? I had such a hard time finding these novels for you." Lu Shi said in a hushed voice.
Zhao Ming smiled excitedly and said, " Go hell with your stupid restrictions. It's just a novel. Why are you being so dramatic? If I had known before that there are fiction novels in this world as well then I wouldn't have wasted my time like this."
" If there is no phone, then I would have to work with this. Thanks for getting me these." Zhao Ming said insincerely while picking one of the novels.
She has heard some maid talking about these romance novels. She never thought that she could get novels in this world as well.
In Ji Cheng's library, she only found documents, and other intellectual books. Nothing is interesting to read for fun.
That's why she asked Lu Shi to arrange these novels for her. After all, she needs something to spend her time.
The day here feels so long. It's so boring.
Lu Shi pursed her lips and looked at the books in Zhao Ming's hand and said, " Miss, I have asked the other maid to arrange these books for me. These books cannot be found in the palace.You're now going to live together with his majesty, so you have to hide them well."

Ji Cheng went to his study to work while she was reading her novels.
Her eyes widened when she realized why these novels were banned in the palace, especially for women.
It's not just a romance novel but….the erotic one.

Her eyes opened just after reading 3-4 pages of the novel. The scenes in the novel were extremely descriptive and she could literally imagine what's going on.
She swallowed as her cheeks turned red. In her past life, she has seen p*rn and he*tai stuff but she never read such novels.
Now she was regretting why she never read such novels. These are much better and have a good storyline. And there is a different level of excitement in reading such stories.
She never thought that there would be such erotic novels in this world.
' So they are not innocent as they show.'
As she was busy in her imaginary world with the book in her hand, she didn't notice the door of the room opening.
Ji Cheng finished his work and hurriedly came back to accompany Zhao Ming for dinner. 
He thought that she must be hungry and he doesn't want her to eat alone, so he came back with a tray of food in his hand.
He didn't bother the maid to bring the food and brought it himself.

Inside the room, Ji Cheng looked around and finally found her laid on the bed. He couldn't see properly what she was doing because of the curtains in between. 
He thought that she was sleeping, he got worried and wondered if she was sick.
He walked towards the bed, pushing the curtains to the side.
Zhao Ming, who was immersed in her own world, didn't notice that he came back and was walking towards her.
Ji Cheng saw that she was reading a book while laying down. He was speechless because of her improper and rowdy posture.
She did not look like a lady at all. She was wearing a dress yet she had her legs raised and crossed them keeping one leg over the other.
He has never seen any lady acting like this. He was about to say something when he noticed the name of the book in her hand.
It was written in a very small font but it was normal for him, so he could read that.
" The burning sensation of the night."

His eyes widened in shock reading the name of the book.
'What kind of book is she reading?'
It was not just a romantic novel. It was an erotic one.
From the name of the book, it was clear what kind of book it is. However, she didn't read the name since it was written in small fonts and she didn't bother to read the title as well.
She just picked any random book.
Lu Shi brought them thinking that it's just a normal romantic novels not knowing that the maid has actually given her erotic one.

He was dumbfounded seeing that the Empress of Ji Dynasty was reading such a book. In the palace, women are not allowed to read romance novels leave alone the erotic one.
" Zhao Ming." He was shocked and called her out in puzzlement.
Zhao Ming who was immersed in reading, frowned when she was disturbed. She looked over in annoyance and was startled seeing Ji Cheng in front of her.
' When did he come?' a cold sweat ran through her spine.
She looked at the book in her hand and at that time reality hit her hard.
She got startled and hurriedly sat up. She was about to hide the book behind her back but her hands were trembling and the book stumbled on the bed.
" Shit." She cursed under her breath.
He didn't hear what she said and picked up the book before she could do so 
She was scared to hell. She was feeling like she was caught by her parents watching p*rn. 
" Your... Majesty. When did you come? I didn't realize it..haha." she laughed nervously while staring at the book in his hand.
' Don't look at it. Don't open that page.'
She was scared that he might open the page that she was reading and the content was not something that she wanted him to see.
It was the bloody hard core content.
Otherwise, the innocent image she had created so far would go in gutter in an instant.

Quick disclaimer: These are my ideas on writing in the Martial Arts Genre and my opinions. I don't read too many original novels due to the monetary requirements so this is mostly directed at fanfiction novels. Also, this is from mostly a readers perspective as I haven't written any novels because I can think of everything but the ending. It seems so hard to end a cultivation novel.
As a reader I have read many martial arts novels, as you do when your addicted to reading. It gets my blood pumping when there is an awesome buildup to a fighting scene. So much so, that I end up bleeding out of my nose (idk why lol) and getting a red face. So, I'm hoping that this will help some people overcome writing blocks and identify the changing meta over time (MOT). As I only usually read martial arts novels I wont comment too much on other genre's but it's kinda related.
THE META: I think the meta is shifting as you can see(I made a joke here). Systems are getting annoying to read, and if harems aren't done properly they suck. You, as an author, may think that, "well, it's just my novel you can like it or not", while that is true, it's not a very good thing for readers to experience reading the same type of novels over and over again. On the same page, it's not fair for an author because they experience heavy criticism because their novel may not be what people are looking for: The same type of genre with the same type of story line.
This issue is even more exacerbated by the fact that the martial arts genre has been standardized by Chinese writers (I think Dragon Marked War God and other novels come from China I believe?) as fight, family gets killed, fight, re-, fight, fight, oh there was romance?, more fighting, fi-, this is the end? Obviously I am exaggerating a bit.
But there are other factors such as in your writing setting webnovel, lowkey, recommends you to write a system novel and other things. While this isn't bad and gives the writer an idea, it's also not good because at this time the genre is super saturated with system novels, harem novels, etc.
But anyway, the meta is shifting. It used to be system novels, harems (I mean it's technically still OK, as long as you do it well), fights after more fights (I still like fights and the trash talk), Arrogant young masters ( please no, go light on the dressing please), dumb female leads (why? just why? It is so upsetting to read novels where the female lead is like, "Oh, yeah that's my rich suitor from like a super powerful clan, I think you also killed his brother by the way, he also has a very powerful grandpa and is like 50 cultivation levels over you, (insert concerned but casual line here). I don't think he will bother you, he's only looking for me.")
That is the older meta (insert obscure reference here Ex, Thank glob!), there has been a noticeable shift from something like that towards a novel kind of mocking that kind of thing. The Strongest Sect of All Time and I Don't Want to Defy The Heavens are both two examples of it. Granted, the second one isn't as popular, but it's a breath of fresh air for people like me who read way too many martial arts novels.
But that's the meta for Translated Chinese Novels, what's the meta in webnovel(for fanfictions/some original novels)?
Well, kinda the same thing, most old fanfictions and some new ones have harems and dumb female leads, young masters, etc. This is where the problem starts. For the new authors they need a place to start, so they follow the trend. However, with the genre being super saturated people are very critical, including myself, and some people just say, "I'm out, good luck." which doesn't really help.
Although, there are mostly helpful and kind people in the fanfiction community who leave constructive criticism and kind comments to encourage the writers (as they are doing this for free (people tend to forget this)). IDK about the original community, all I know is, FOR THE COLONY!
Anyway, how would this help writers?
Well, I would say lay off writing the system novels, cringy rich young master novels, and dumb female leads novels for your first novel. I would say give the characters more breathing room. The female lead doesn't have to be destined to marry the male lead by the first chapter.
The female lead also shouldn't be a freaking 'weak and gentle' girl. I honestly don't know why people think that is 'super realistic' or like it that much. All the females I know are aggressive and (NOT TSUNDERE) stand up for themselves when they encounter adversity. Honestly you make the male lead or female lead look like a baby sitter if you have them take care of the opposite gender (or same gender not judging) for part of the novel.
Let them struggle through their own adversity that creates character.
I am not saying the male lead and female lead shouldn't meet up, what I am saying is that you shouldn't have them glued to each other for years (especially when they're young) allowing them to groom each other. Not realistic. This process also kills character development. You draw in readers by readers relating themselves or their experiences to what you write. Or, if you just write something cool and blood boiling.
Side Note: Don't create impossible seeming obstacles at the start. For people like me who gets immersed in the story, I get a headache due to thinking how the main character will overcome that obstacle. I would recommend small events that can lead up to a big event. However, you have to change the formula up, how you do so is up to you as an author.
Character development (I'm all over the place)
If your character is reincarnating or transmigrating at the age of like 20+, there is a defined character. No, I do not want your crappy backstory that you never actually relate to the rest of the novel itself (sorry authors). I think that it would be cooler but also harder to get us interested in the characters backstory by bringing it up briefly when the situation is appropriate.
You can also add in humor, 'I believe I can cultivate this rising dragon three blue, white, and yellow pagoda body, after all, I survived studying for Nice Posture academy when I was younger in my past life.' A good (mine was ok, not great) short flashback can allow people to be interested in his past which you can relate to a future event and then explain or never explain at all.
Side Note: If your main character was transmigrated or reincarnated you can still work on character development. However, the change should require time. After all, it doesn't really make sense if you are an 'emotionless killer' after like your first time killing.
That just is not very realistic. You can get used to death, and you can not be super panicky when seeing blood. However, for the first few times the main character should be uncomfortable as that makes sense. Unless, the main character has some mental trauma that prevents him from being too effected, which in that case, would be seem OK from a readers perspective.
Being an author is easier than people may think. If you've read enough you can try.
Although there is a noticeable difference between an experienced writer and a beginner writer as long as you have read some books/novels, heck even if you've read one you can write. How I, as an amateur author, am thinking of starting my novel(s) is really easy. It's the same thing you may do when you encounter a new essay format you have to write in school. You copy the outline. That easy.
You don't need to copy the outline for the rest of the story(hopefully), as it's your story. You can think of the direction to take it. The hardest part for starting out is doing the introduction and the ending. It's crucial because some people do not have patience to read through like 3 chapters of boring exposition that may be useful for the future story, (but ends up not being) and don't want to miss some of the potential plot (kinda being biased here).
For reincarnation and transmigration novels you should just keep it short, no god, no 3 chapter of exposition, just what he was doing right before and then he ends up somewhere new. Or, you can just start with where the main character reincarnated and just say," I was doing my day(or night) job and just ended up here somehow (or I died by a truck, etc.)". The key is to keep it short (very short), unless it's related to future plot.
The struggles of an author: So many ideas of super powers and powers have been taken from my mind due to basically everything being used as I have read too many novels. I can say one of my worries is that my story and the powers the main character has, has to be unique. I will say to other people who may have the same considerations that I think it doesn't matter. 
Side Note: If you are going to have a main character reincarnate without his memories, you might as well skip the scene as it's kind of pointless. Just have him start out as someone who transmigrated and figures out what they transmigrated with. If you need to, you can show that the main character had his/her memories wiped, but otherwise it really doesn't make much sense. You can write it better if your doing the 'scene' for plot.  
If you get too caught up in thinking about those kind of things it gets hard to write.  
When you write a fanfiction: It's hard to write a fanfiction. In fact, it can be harder than writing an original novel. This is because you have to write to make sure that what the original characters do, and their reaction to something happening makes sense from what you see in the book/novel/movie/manga/anime. 
I forgot the rest of what I was going to say(I'm sure the comments may have some more ideas), I'll just leave some ideas.
-Using impurities to cultivate creating a 'corrosion' effect from energy used 
-Having it known among clans and families that if their sons and daughter are too cocky they will be killed, so there is more low key young masters leading there to be more interesting plots (as they are more experienced in worldly matters) and stronger young masters 
-Using a different main weapon than a sword for the main character to mainly use and learn some type of broken 'intent' with ex.) mace, spear, saber, etc.

Have you ever wondered why some of the novels you see in Webnovel have no star ratings? They are the novels that have gray stars on them and most people don't bother giving them a second look.

Elyon was one of them. Whenever he encounters a novel without a star rating he just overlooks them and proceeds to check other novels. His reason? He thought that those novels with gray stars are dropped or in hiatus. Basically, he labels them as "dead novels."

He didn't know that the majority of these novels are the stories of new authors, who just started writing their story in Webnovels. There are literally thousands of novels that are written in this platform and some of them are buried in the pages of history.

So what is a star rating? A star rating is the rating that you see on a novel. Some of your favorite novels have 4.6, 4.8 and some of them have 4.9 ratings which are quite high. A novel's rating come from the reviews of their readers. In order for a novel to have a star rating of its own, it must first have "10 reviews" and the average of those reviews will form the star rating. 

After becoming an author, Elyon changed his point of view regarding novels without a star rating. Some of these novels appear on the daily updates and the trending list. The trending list is one of the best places for a novel to be advertised. Even now, Elyon doesn't know the requirements on how to appear on the trending list.

His fellow senior authors said that the trending list is completely random. Even those novels who are very popular will not necessarily appear on the trending list. The only requirement is that your collection should not exceed over three thousand to be featured on the trending list.

Elyon just finished writing a chapter and decided to take a rest. He looked at the front page of Webnovels and saw the trending list for the week (the trending list lasts for a week and is reset afterward). 

More than half of them don't have any star ratings and he immediately understood that they are stories made by new authors. Elyon casually checked the titles and he found one title at the very back of the trending list.

There were no reviews, no comments, no anything. He decided to start reading it because he has a feeling that this novel will bring him surprises. 

He read through the chapters and contemplated. The overall appeal of this novel for him can be summed up in three words and that is "Simple and Clean."

There are no complicated writing, there are no complicated scenarios. Everything was simple and that is probably the reason why it is easier to read. For him, it was a good novel. It has a lot of potential and even though there some grammar and spelling mistakes, it doesn't change the fact that the novel is a good read.

He returned to the front page and once more looked at the grayed out star rating. He closed his eyes for a moment. When he opened them, he clicked the give a review button.

"Let me be the first one to give you a review. I hope that it will help other readers get a good impression of your novel." Elyon wrote his review. He didn't bat an eye and gave it a perfect 5-star rating.

In the past, I don't really pay attention to any novel without a star rating. I thought they were dead novels. Little did I know that these novels are very much alive. The authors behind these novels update them on a regular basis with the hope that someone out there will be able to read and appreciate their stories.

Some of these novels are dismissed and most people don't really care about them. They rot in some corner of the web and the authors who wrote them either gave up or persist in their work.

I believe that perseverance is a good trait a person must have. But sometimes, reality makes it hard even for the most stubborn of people. People wants to be appreciated. No matter how small, no matter how big, they want to be appreciated.

If someone doesn't pay attention to their efforts, then these people will ultimately lose their motivation. Their drive to move forward and persist will disappear. When the author loses all hope and abandon their works, then that is the time that the novel dies.

So please my dear readers. If you happen to see a novel on the daily updates or the trending list that have no star ratings, don't dismiss them right away. Give it a chance. Give the author a chance. Wouldn't it be great if you found a hidden gem along the way?

Once you found one, don't forget to leave a comment. It will work wonders and make the Author happy. If you want to go that extra mile, give it a review. Sometimes, even bad reviews can help as long as it's an "HONEST Review."

Point out the things that you like about the story and point out the things that you don't like. If you really like it, make sure to encourage the author not to drop his novel. Trust me, these simple things can split the sea and move mountains. 

Give it a try. Try to encourage an author today and maybe, just maybe, the author will be motivated and double his efforts. Who knows? The small seed of hope that you planted today will give birth to a towering tree that will give you the best stories that you had ever read in your entire life.
